part of me actually wonders how many seasons on this show will go on for I think especially with the reception of bucktommy break up...

i gave them a lot of grace after s6 since it was impacted by the threat of cancellation. after s7 i was thinking that they didn't know what to do with eddie anymore because they never recovered from killing off shannon, but i was still hopeful because there was a lot of potential. then the s8 hype started and i was frothing at the mouth for eddie discovering who he is outside of a father/husband/son and i was so excited about the han-wilson family tension that kept being mentioned in interviews. and yes i was excited about bucktommy because a stable happy and healthy relationship is new for buck, it's different than what we've been getting for the past 7 seasons.

but we didn't get any of what we were promised, storylines were wrapped up hastily without the emotions that would've made them extra interesting, bucktommy were broken up for ???? idk it's starting to look like there's really no plan for this show and they're just taking it one episode at a time without considering long term arcs or themes. i truly have no idea where we're going to go with the rest of the season, but yeah i expect a lot of people are going to start losing faith no matter what they ship. something something die a hero or live long enough to become a villain i guess.
