☁️✨️🦩 for the summer qs
☁️ wip you want to write but haven’t started yet
I've been hooked on my adventures with superman so every time I see a new episode, I keep imagining an oc throughout the series. And I always loved the plot of the world killers (that was literally my fave villain in the cw supergirl series) so I drafted a few scenes. Her name's Ginevra (Jimmy would call her 'Ginny' to annoy her lmao) and she was part of a group experimental hybrid world killers left to fend for herself as a youngster on Earth by her own crew of (older) world killers who deemed her too Kyrptonian and not enough 'word killer'. As she grows on Earth, she doesn't have too many memories of her time in the labs but she still knows that she's most definitely not human. It's still a mess but that's the main premise so far.
✨ newest wip
I've been (re)working on a new The Originals OC. I've changed her a couple times but I think this time she's finally got a solid foundation lmao. Her name's Aura, and she's a witch from a secluded coven outside the U.S. Aura and her brother get caught in Marcel's dictatorship while he has Klaus prisoner. Aura possesses special abilities that Marcel uses to get into Klaus' head but ends up prisoner herself. Sometimes later, she helps Klaus escape (with those special abilities of hers) and stays prisoner herself in order to save her brother. Grateful, when Klaus returns to the Quarter with his family the first thing he does is free Aura from her imprisonment. Although Aura is free to go with her brother, the concept of the Hollow and the fact that it's going after little Hope Mikaelson troubles her and so she agrees to stay in the Quarter to help where she can. At the end of the day, the time gap happens again and ironically, Klaus goes in search of Aura again to ask beg for her help to save Hope (now a teenager). Only now, Aura is at the lowest place in her life than she ever was and Klaus has to snap her out of it (help her heal) before time runs out for Hope.
For some reason, I really want this fic to end in tragedy though so I don't know how exactly I want to end it except that I know it'll be season 5 (the show's finale). Either Aura might die, or Klaus, or her brother - I'm not sure yet. The thing I really want to focus in this fic and the two seasons is the theme of grief and healing. I've never done a short series, and much less about the two aforementioned concepts so it's like a new challenge for me and I like it! sorry for rambling with this one
🦩 wip you hate working on but are too far gone to turn back
I wouldn't say that I hate it, but it is trickier to write than I originally planned and it's made me set it back for a while now. It's my doctor who oc Grier. I'm thinking of changing her face claim (her first incarnation) too so there's that?? It's her second fic that's got me in trouble because my dumbass decided to make it one of those "they're time travelling in opposite directions" for a while (like season 5 to the first half of season 7). I like the challenge but it's working out the nitty-gritty stuff that's got me aaaaaa. I love Grier, and I really want to make this fic one of those morally gray 'is he/she wrong for how they reacted" things so that's one thing that keeps me going. I plan on making both the Doctor and Grier royally fuck up and that's a first. I've always tried making my ocs do bad things but for good reasons. In here, the Doctor screws up first and then Grier takes it REALLY to heart and starts screwing with him in painful ways as well. It's chaos after chaos but here I am <3
Send over some summertime writers' asks if you'd like!

Supercorp phone call episode 11: “Myx in the Middle“
The off screen phone call Lena had with Kara after finding some answers in Newfoundland Ireland.
“Hello?” Kara's sounds tired and Lena wonders if she calculated the time difference wrong. It should only be half past 8 in National City.
“Hi,” Lena breathes. “How are you?”
“Lena!” All the exhaustion leaves Kara’s voice. She sounds happy to hear from her. “Good. I'm good. How are you? How is your search going?”
Lena smiles slightly, glad she called Kara after this eventful day. Andrea's support had helped her through it but now that she had her answers, she needed Kara’s help to understand what they meant for her.
“I'm okay,” Lena answers. “I found some answers.”
“That’s good,” Kara smiles. “Does that mean you'll be back soon?”
Lena starts playing with her braid. “I think so,” she answers. “I miss everyone.”
“We miss you too,” Kara replies immediately. “We could really use your help against Nyxly.”
“Nyxly?” Lena wonders, not having heard the name before.
“She was with me in the…“ Kara stops and Lena hears the sharp intake of breath before the blonde practically spits out, “Phantom Zone.”
“What happened? I haven’t watched the news yet,” Lena asks, worried.
“It’s okay. We’re okay,” Kara deflects. “Don’t worry about it.”
“Are you sure? I can get on a plane right away, if you need me,” Lena offers. If Kara wanted her there, she would leave immediately. She could come back here anytime.
“No, we’ve got it,” her friend assures her and Lena believes her. Kara first and foremost is a hero. If she needed Lena to save the city, Kara would already be standing here in front of her and pick her up to fly her back herself. Lena almost wishes she would. If just so that Kara can giver her a hug beforehand. “What about you? What did you learn about your mother?”
Lena starts fidgeting with the hem of her shirt but answers anyway. There are no more secrets between them. “Everybody hates her. She murdered someone.”
She hears Kara loud gasps over the line. “Lena, I’m sorry!”
Lena chuckles drily, “Don’t be. It’s only fitting. Other family’s have royals in their blood line and mine has murderers.”
“Lena…” her friend protests but Lena is already speaking again, “You know, I always wanted to be good. I wanted my dead mother to be proud of me and I wanted to prove that I was nothing like the Luthors. And now I learn that she is just like them,” Lena's voice breaks. “Where does that leave me?”
Lena knows she’s unfair towards her mother since she had only tried to help, but the anger and sadness eating her up make it hard to be rational. She had idolized her mother, had spent her life blaming herself for her death and trying to live in the image of her, trying to be good. She had never felt worthy of her love.
And now with the truth out in the open she realizes she is exactly like her, maybe even worse. She had also killed someone to protect another. Yes, Lex had almost killed half the population of the earth but in the moment Lena had pulled the trigger she hadn’t thought of that but of the people she wanted to protect. Kara. Supergirl.
“It leaves you as Lena Luthor, my best friend who has a heart bigger than anyone else. As Lena Luthor, a hero who saved the earth countless times and the lives of billions of people with it. As Lena Luthor, your own person, not defined by blood or family history but your own words and actions.” Kara’s voice is quiet and sincere and Lena can’t stop the tears from falling now. “And those are good, Lena. You are good. That fact doesn’t change anything about you.“
Lena presses a hand to her mouth to muffle her sobs but she is sure Kara can hear them anyway. She doesn’t tell Kara the other fact she has learned about her mother today; that she had allegedly been a witch and Lena has inherited “the spark”. Foremost because she doesn’t believe in it but also because she is sure Kara would.
Lena has seen countless supernatural things, starting with the alien that is her best friend and can fly and shoot lasers out of her eyes. Followed by the kryptonian worldkillers, one of which had resided inside her other friend’s body, a body that could change its whole genome whenever the worldkiller decided to come out. And lastly, to top it all, a whole new universe created by a wish (as Kara has told her) after the multiverse had collapsed.
There were some scientific explanations for parts of this. For example, Kara's alien DNA and the way the yellow sun granted her powers was something Lena could work with. However, larger parts she couldn’t quite explain. Yet, Lena used to emphasize. Things that seemed impossible 30 years ago are now used on a daily basis and phenomena that are unexplainable today will be understandable in the future, Lena is sure of that. Magic is just a term for science that isn’t comprehensible yet.
But then again, aliens with supernatural powers are a thing, why not humans?
Lena shakes her head at herself, wiping away the tears that wet her cheeks. If magic is real, she possesses it and all she has ever accomplished can be traced back to it, then who even is she?
“Where are you right now?” Kara asks into the silence. “I can fly over.”
“No,” Lena clears her throat. “I’ll be okay. National City needs you.”
And she means it. She will get to the bottom of this and she has to do it alone. This is her demon to face. Kara already has enough on her plate.
Her friend sighs quietly, accepting her choice, “Okay. But I’m here if you wanna talk. Anytime.”
“That goes for you too, Kara,” Lena reminds her, not able to keep the hint of worry out of her voice. Kara is used to playing strong and giving her all, but after everything she's been through, Lena hopes she'll finally allow herself to share her burdens, to take a step back and let the others help her. “I know I left right after you came back from… there. But I’m always here for you if you need me.”
“I know,” Kara breathes. A beat goes by until she adds, “I miss you.”
“I miss you too,” Lena replies quietly. “Say hello to the others for me.”
“I will,” Kara agrees. Her voice is hopeful when she asks, “I'll seen you soon?”
“Soon,” Lena promises.

Grant Gustin shows off a 'leveled' Barry, the startling cause of the Armageddon event and more for TV Line
Season 8 of The Flash begins with a five-episode event in which Barry Allen & Company tries to avoid Armageddon. But the biggest twist is what - or who - causes this future cataclysm.
Starting in Season 8 this Tuesday, November 16 (and airing for five consecutive Tuesday nights), “Armageddon” features Grant Gustin's Barry meeting alien Despero (played by Defiance's Tony Curran). Once Despero issues his impending threat warning, Barry will recruit a cavalcade of super-friends - including Ray Palmer / Brandon Routh Atom (ex-Legends of Tomorrow), Cress Williams' Black Lightning, Javicia Leslie's Batwoman, Sentinel of Chyler Leigh (from Supergirl), Mia Smoak from Katherine McNamara (from Arrow) and Ryan Choi from Osric Chau (from the "Crisis on Infinite Earths" crossover event).
Also appearing in the “Armageddon” mix somehow are Arrowverse villains Eobard Thawne / Reverse Flash and Damien Darhk, played again by Tom Cavanagh and Neal McDonough, respectively.
The TV Line spoke with series frontman Grant Gustin about how The Flash is five-a-time compared to traditional crossover events,
TV LINE | What will Barry's life be like at the start of Season 8? Life is Beautiful ! The kids [Nora and Bart] have moved back to the future, 2049, and our theme when we come back is that we've all "got better", so we're seeing this version of Barry now that I've been waiting to see for a while. He feels a little more confident, he is in fact assuming his role of leader. He still depends on the team, but he takes on a bigger role than we've seen in the past. Barry and Iris are in a good position, life is good, which feels like a start to the season - and as we all know, it's likely to change very quickly. [To laugh]
TV LINE | Is there any indication that Barry and Iris are still, in quotes, "trying" to start a family? Yes, subtly, yes. Quickly, there is a lot going on on this topic on a regular basis, but at the premiere, it's still a theme. It is recognized.
TV LINE | How can we have the first scent of Armageddon to arrive? We're dealing with the Royal Flush gang, which first appeared [in The Flash] in season 1, I believe. They also improved, but Barry handles them quite easily. Then, at the end of the episode, Despero appears for the first time and basically says Barry is going to be the cause of the coming Armageddon. Barry, at first, is skeptical and tries to tell Despero that it just isn't possible, but there is enough evidence Despero is giving that Barry is very worried that this future is something that could possibly happen.
TV LINE | What kind of alien does the incredible Tony Curran give us? He's a king, he's a smart guy, he's a tough guy ...? Tony is everything, man; I had a lot of fun working with him. It's cool because we're going to see a human side of Despero and an alien side. I couldn't see what the final product would look like because I sometimes worked with a human with stitches in his face, but Tony's performance is amazing. He's a tough guy, but he's one of those villains we understand where he comes from, because for him everything is based on a truth.
TV LINE | What I'm trying to understand since this event and the casting announcement is: what skin do Damien Darhk and Eobard Thawne have in the game? Well, we'll be looking at different timelines I guess you could tell. It's cool, it's kind of like an alternate reality we'll be in. It was something else, I had so much fun working with Neal [McDonough] and Tom [Cavanagh]. I've never worked with Neal before, and his parts of our story are integral and really cool.
TV LINE | I always call it a team event, but is it more of a progressive dinner? One week Barry visits Black Ray, the next he visits someone else…? No, we see Ray [Palmer] first, which is funny because it's just two old friends talking for a while, until Despero shows up. But then Ray has to go, and when we start to see other characters throughout the “Armageddon” event, it sometimes feels more like a real crossover. They are not only independent. We'll see a lot of different characters in the same episodes, in the same scenes at the same time.
TV LINE | Shall we spend some time in the Hall of Justice? We're going Yes! This is where Barry and Jefferson / Black Light first meet. Yes, subtly, yes. Quickly, there is a lot going on on this topic on a regular basis, but at the premiere, it's still a theme. It is recognized.
TV LINE | Coming to five episodes of your own show, did it prove to be more manageable for you than the traditional tedious annual crossover event? Yes and no. I would say for production it was a lot easier to do it on paper, because I wasn't balancing five show schedules and figuring out how to put all these different actors into different shows. I'm sure it's been harder for people like Javicia [Batwoman], who have busy schedules on their own shows and come to play on a different show - I've been there so I know.
So for me it was easier, since everyone came to us. But also, I missed the first two weeks of filming because we had just had our baby [Gustin and his wife LA Thoma welcomed a girl in mid-August], then my schedule filled up for about six weeks. It was the most difficult Flash time I have had since Season 1, when it comes to programming. But it was cool - it really felt like a crossover event, but it all happened "at home" for us.

Is Lena in your nuclear winter au a version of her that got kidnapped by Rhea and never rescued? Wonder what she's been through and how she managed to become queen in spite of being Rhea's captive (if that's how she got there, of course)
Good morning, yes, it is. It’s a version of Lena who was still on the Daxamite ship with Mon-el when Kara killed Rhea in the Dakam’ur/detonated the lead dispersal device. I had an outline of what transpired before Kara and Lena meet up again, but ultimately I liked it better just keeping things between them. But I do have a snippet that gives a little peek into what happened after the fleet left orbit:
One night, when Lucy is deep asleep and Kara feels the room caving in, she seeks refuge from the unbearable pressure by escaping into the corridor. It squeezes her along its length, winding her around corners and along cut-throughs until she doesn’t know where she came from or where she’s going… until she looks up and finds herself in what can only be the royal wing.
The metal bulkheads hang with rich tapestries, and the lights are warmer, softer. And it’s quiet.
So, so quiet.
She only identifies the queen’s chambers by virtue of the pair of guards flanking a broad portal decorated with lines of Daxamite script. Kara nearly retreats, not interested in whatever scuffle waits if she presses forward. But when the guards catch sight of her, they don’t warn her away.
Instead they swipe their palms in unison over the activation sensors, parting the hatch to allow her access.
Faced with such an invitation, Kara can do nothing but follow her feet inside.
An empty receiving room greets when the door hisses shut behind her. Beyond that, a high-ceilinged study with a broad desk covered with correspondence, star charts and diagrams. Here, there are signs of life in a platter of half-eaten food and an empty goblet of Starhaven crystal.
The throne room and every other that Kara has seen thus far follows the Daxam style of sharp edges and flat surfaces, hard and unyielding. But in this, the Queen’s private refuge, Earth abounds in the cushions that adorn every surface, and the soft shawl that hangs across the back of the desk chair.
All it lacks is the Queen herself.
Kara finds her beyond an open hatch, half-hidden by a sheer curtain that fluttered in a false breeze. Kara steps out onto the small observation deck, and for a moment forgets that she’s on a ship hurtling through the utter nothing that exists between systems. Overhead shines a velvet sky pinpricked with stars, and aglow with the light of a silver moon.
It’s a long, long moment before Kara recognizes it as Earth’s moon.
For the second time in as many run-ins, Kara stops short, and the scuff of her boot against the deck pulls the Queen’s gaze to her sharply.
“Change view,” she says sharply, and instantly the sky changes to some nightscape of two moons and purple auroras. A pale hand lifts to dry the glint of tears from her cheeks. “Supergirl--”
“Could you--?” Kara asks, giving into the longing in her heart. She moves to stand beside the queen, lifting her chin toward the false heavens. “It’s-- been a long time since I’ve seen it.”
The queen blinks at her-- at her request, her proximity, or both, Kara can’t say. But she clears her throat and turns forward without question.
“Show home.”
The sky immediately returns to a deep velvet blue, peppered with a familiar expanse of glittering stardust. The moon and her pocked face outshines all, big and pale and beautiful. Kara stares up at tit in muted glory, until her awe shifts to a familiar ache. It reminds her of Earth, but more than that, it reminds her of Midvale, and nights spent on the roof with Alex, staring up at the stars from which Kara had come, once upon a time.
Now, here she was among them once more, bereft of a second world. Without Alex-- without James, Winn, Nia-- without a single human save the one she lost decades ago.
“As a rule, Daxam surveys the night skies of every world they visit,” the Queen says quietly, her voice thick. “I found Earth’s, almost a year in and I...” A damp cough scrapes from her throat. “Well, it’s the closest I’ll ever get to home.”
She wipes her cheeks again, and Kara watches the motion from the corner of her eye. A shawl similar to the one she’d seen in the study sits wrapped around the Queens shoulders, and just as Kara has grown at her own seams, in this moment the Queen looks smaller than she ever has before.
“I thought I’d given up hope of ever seeing it again,” she says quietly, ducking her chin. “Guess not.”
Kara remains silent, uncertain of what to say. Once upon a time, she’d been wracked by guilt for having been unable to save her friend before the Daxamite fleet fled. Since then others have joined her list of casualties, and Lena Luthor had gotten buried beneath everyone else, until only Lucy was left.
“Mon-el didn’t go on an expedition,” the Queen offers to the simulated night. “He just… left. About the same time I found this sky. He left a note, telling us not to retrieve him.”
“You did anyway?”
“We tried. I was terrified-- selfishly, of what it would mean for me. Everything was still so new, and without him...."
"They wouldn't have accepted you as queen."
"I was sure I’d be a prisoner again-- or worse. But I’d made a few friends by then. An advisor proposed the story of the expedition, and holding out hope for his return bought me enough time to earn the peoples’ faith in my own right."
Kara remembers stories Mon-el used to tell-- of phenomenal parties and days spent in happy hazes. She also remembers how those enthusiastic re-tellings had grown uncertain as time went on. How those memories had grown less drunken and more drugged, when he realized it was all he remembered-- not the names of those he drank with, their families, or the taste of the food they’d had served to them on countless silver platters.
She hasn’t seen that here. Hasn’t witnessed any of the reckless indulgence that so characterizes what she knows of Daxam. All she’s seen is evidence of the steward’s claims-- of pride and dedication and purpose. He’d said their new Queen had been the source of their happiness, and Kara believes him. She imagines it would have been difficult for a newcomer to navigate such a climate, and harder still to lead them out of it. But she has.
The Queen has gone silent, and Kara accepts it gratefully.
“You may not remember, but… we used to share a friend. Her name was Kara Danvers.”
The name punches her like a kick to the gut. It stays hidden beneath the layers of desensitized masks, disguised to nothing. But she feels it. Oh, she feels it.
“Was it--” The Queen’s voice cracks. “Did she…”
Whatever she means to ask, she diverts to something simpler.
“Was she happy?”
Simpler to ask. Not to answer.
Kara hardly remembers the last time she was happy. Unbidden, a memory surges to the forefront of her mind’s eye-- she and Alex on a couch, she forgets whose, and they’re full of food and wine and it’s just-- it feels like the warmth of a yellow sun.
She hasn’t been that Kara for a very long time. Sister nights fell away long before the bombs did. So had Alex.
“We lost touch,” is all she can say.
Wrapped shoulders droop, relinquishing the last of her regal bearing.
Beside her, the queen deflates, head bowing with one final loss. When she looks up once more, her features glow with old, callused grief.
“I sometimes wondered if she ever got married-- had children, grandchildren. I hoped she was happy. And not just because I married her boyfriend.”
Kara glances at the Queen’s profile. A new memory flashes behind Kara’s eyes. One on a different couch, with a Lena Luthor who’d sat stone-faced and teary-eyed. She doesn’t remember what had put grief on her face then, but being the source of it now cuts another layer from her.
She steps away, and pointedly avoids the concern that follows her retreat.
“Thank you,” she says. “For the view.”
Expressive features open, lips parting even as Kara braces against the request to stay. Finally, she pauses, and schools her features into something gentle, but serene. A queen once more.
“Any time,” she says graciously, hugging her shawl just a little tighter.
Kara bows in the Daxam way, then departs without a word.

Later that night, everyone had gathered around to discuss a plan to take down HYDRA at their main base, their headquarters.
"Johann Schmidt belongs in a bughouse. He thinks he's a God, and he's willing to blow up half the world to prove it, starting with the USA." Colonel Phillips states.
"Schmidt's working with powers beyond our capabilities," Howard Stark informs. "He gets across the Atlantic, he will wipe out the entire eastern sea board in an hour."
"How much time we've got?" Gabe questions.
"According to my new best friend, under twenty-four hours." the Colonel answers.
"Where is he now?" Olivia wonders.
"HYDRA's last base is here." Colonel Phillips points at the photo of the base that he happened to be holding. "In the Alps. Five hundred feet below the surface."
"So, what are we supposed to do?" Jim Morita wonders. "I mean, it's not like we can just knock on the front door."
"Why not?" Steve retorts, making everyone look at him. "That's exactly what we're going to do."
"Seriously?" Olivia asks her brother in curiosity.
Steve looks at her and by the look in his eyes, she knew he was being serious.
"Then I'm coming with you." she tells him.
He gives her a nod. The planning moves forward until they had a whole plan together. Once everyone knew their orders, they all parted ways to get ready for the mission. Steve felt slightly excited that his sister would be joining him in the field, he really did want to see how she'd handle herself and he felt like he'd be able to protect her too with her by his side. Though he second-guessed the last feeling, as he wasn't able to protect Bucky.
Howard had been the one to design a suit for the young Rogers as he had a feeling that she'd join her brother in the field eventually whether or not he was all for it. The inventor matched the girl's color scheme to her brother's suit but, she would be wearing a dark blue romper that had long sleeves, a white star in the middle of the chest area to match her brother's star on his suit, white bands that went around her thighs at the bottom of the romper and Howard had added a couple more stars onto the sleeves of the romper. Once she was dressed in the suit, the inventor handed her a red rounded domino mask and red utility belt for her to put on, as well as brandishing her with a pair of red, vinyl boots.
"Maybe you should put your hair up. That way the enemies can't use it against you." he recommends.
"Good idea." she agrees.
Olivia gathers up her dirty blonde hair and puts it up into a bun, using her scrunchie to tie it up. She then takes in her appearance in the nearby mirror.
"This is so cool." she comments.
"I figured you would like to match with your brother or closely resemble his suit pattern, for appearances and such. " Howard tells her.
She hums thoughtfully, "They call him, Captain America."
She tilts her head a little as she continues to look at her reflection before turning around to face Howard, crossing her arms over her chest.
"So what shall I be called?" she wonders.
Howard thinks about it. "Miss America?" he suggests.
"I am not a pageant girl." she says.
"Okay, how about....Agent Liberty?" (Supergirl?)
"Uh...how about, no." she shoots down.
"Lady America?" Howard offers.
Olivia cringed at the name. "No thanks, I don't like the sound of that. Makes me sound proper and royal, I am not a noblewoman." she tells him.
Howard rolls his eyes before looking at her expectantly.
"Okay, then what do you suggest?" he wonders.
Olivia drops her arms and turns back to the mirror as she thought it over.
"Oh! I got it!" she spins around again, facing Howard once more.
"Call me, Miss Justice." she says, placing her hands on her hips, smiling.
Howard chuckled at her behavior before nodding.
"I like it. Miss Justice it is then."
He watches as she finishes getting ready, making sure she was armed with the right tools for the mission. His smile then dropped from his face, taking on a serious expression.
"I want you to be safe out there, Olivia. You aren't a super soldier like your brother and you're avenging Barnes not getting revenge. Do what you can to your best abilities and try not to get yourself killed." he tells her.
Olivia walked away from the mirror and towards the man. She enveloped him in a hug, and held him tightly.
"Thank you, for everything Howard. You didn't have to step in to the role of a big brother but, you did and I really appreciate that. I know you'll make a great father one day." she tells him.
"Thank you Olivia. Now, try not to do anything stupid out there." he says.
"I'll do my best."
Howard pulls away from the girl, placing his hands on her shoulders as he looked at her.
"I want my favorite Rogers to come back in one piece and preferably unscathed but, this is war so...come back in one piece."
"I prom- I'll do everything I can to return in one piece." she tells him, not wanting to promise something she doesn't have full control over.
Howard embraces the girl once more before sending her on her way, worried about her already.

I keep chanting im supposed to be writing vamp fic but yall keep sending these adjdasd. But here’s me not answering this ask in the slightest.
THIS IS SUPERROJAS with a HINT that it’s actually background SUPERROJASCORP.
Anyway, enjoy (8
____
"What are you doing in my office?" Andrea asks, mouth twisting like she’s annoyed already.
Kara doesn't answer, just keeps blinking and not moving like she's glued to her spot. Jaw clenching as she swallows down her saliva nervously, watching the way Andrea carefully folds her arms, tilts her head, leans her hip against her desk and licks a shine onto her lips, Rao. It's not actually inappropriate for Kara to be here, so she shouldn't feel as hot as she does, shouldn't feel like her supersuit is melding to her skin.
Sure, she might have made up a lie to get out of game night with the Super Friends, and switched into her suit in an alley, and flew across the city to CatCo at half-past midnight, but. She's not intruding. She's just doing what Andrea told her to do.
Still, her breath hitches when Andrea rolls her eyes and says, "Well?
It's the surreality of it, probably, because she's the Andrea Rojas: owner of CatCo and Kara Danvers' fucking boss. Because she's smart and pretty and she's been on the Forbes billionaire list for the past five years. Because Kara knows she's not wearing any underwear right now and she asked to be bent over her desk and fucked by Supergirl.
Kara's heart is beating so freaking fast. "You know why I'm here," she finally answers, as firm as she can, folding her arms across her chest, dropping them, folding them again, jutting her chin out. "I know what you did."
Andrea's throat twitches like she's swallowing down a laugh, but she keeps her face expressionless, disinterested even. She's so fucking good at this, and Kara's just struggling to breathe.
"Yeah?" Andrea asks. "What exactly did I do, then?"
"Um," Kara flushes, lifting her hand and tucking a curly strand of hair behind her ear, bangs suddenly hot and uncomfortable. She maybe should have planned better. "Something bad."
"Whatever," Andrea says, not missing a beat, turning and putting her hands on her desk like she's studying the papers on it. "Don't know why you bothered showing up here, we both know you're not going to do anything about it. We both know you'll just let me get away with it."
Kara moves to her as fast as she can without hurting her, wraps an arm around her belly and pulls her flush against her, grips her hand in her hair and tilts her head back so she can press her lips against Andrea's ear and let her heart calm down for a second. She always feels better the second she's got her in her arms, feels like she can think properly, feels like she can finally do this right, just the way Andrea wants her to. "I don't think you want to get away with anything. You wouldn't have made it so obvious, otherwise."
"It's a shame, isn't it? When I practically have to beg the city's hero to punish me," Andrea drags out, letting her head melt in Kara's hand, sinking into her. "Was starting to think you were just a decorative ornament, an antiquated idea of hope and justice, about as useful to National City as the royal family is to--"
"Okay, that's enough," Kara cuts her off, letting Andrea's hair free before she pushes her forward, pressing her down until her forearms are resting on the desk, ass poked in the air as Kara grips her hips to steady her. She looks so good like this, but Kara can't even enjoy it, can't stop thinking how harsh she just sounded, wants to tell Andrea she's not actually offended.
She doesn't want to ruin the mood, but she's cautious, just wants to make sure everything is still okay. So, she clears her throat, spreads her hands over Andrea's back, and asks, "Give me a color?"
"Really?" Andrea whines, slumping into the desk. "You're asking right now?"
"I just want to be sure," Kara says, running her hands down Andrea's sides until she's tucking her fingers in her waistband. "Please? For me."
"Fine," Andrea huffs. "Super green, and super annoyed. You happy?"
"Super," Kara smiles, lifting Andrea's shirt and digging her thumbs into the dimples in her lower back. She feels so much better now, so much bolder, now that she's sure. "I was gonna take it easy," she says slowly, slipping back into it, knows it drives Andrea wild whenever she takes her time. "But you're not showing any remorse for your crimes, so. Think I should make an example out of you, mark you up for all of National City to see. Enough to make people too uncomfortable to ask."
"Okay," Andrea whispers, breathless, arching her back, dropping her head, pressing back against the strap tucked into the pants of Kara's supersuit. "Do what you have to do, don't have all night."
"Mmm, I don't know. I bet you want that, though, don't you?" Kara asks thoughtfully, slipping into it a little easier now. Andrea's doing her part so well. All Kara has to do is follow her lead. She doesn't have to feel nervous about this. It's their thing, and it makes Andrea happy, and it makes her happy, and she loves both of those happening at the same time. "You want the city to see you like that. You wanna look in the mirror and see what Supergirl did to you, bruised right over your pulse, under your jaw. You wanna touch it and think about it, and relive it every chance you get. You want me to mark you up so good you turn heads in every meeting you're in tomorrow. That isn't a punishment, is it?"
"No," Andrea shakes her head. Her face is buried against her arms now, but Kara can tell she's flushed, can tell she's turned on just from how warm her skin is, how soft she's getting, how she's practically melting against the desk as she slow grinds against Kara, hips stuttering in messy circles. "What are you going to do, then?"
Thankfully, Kara actually has thought this far. She's wearing the power-inhibiting bracelets, clamped tight around her wrists, because she just knew this was going to be one of those kinds of nights, and the last thing she wanted to be was unprepared.
Wearing them is a little weird, though, like--three years ago, when Lex invented the bracelets just to lock Kara up, she would have died of laughter before she believed she'd one day be using them to have sex with both Andrea Rojas and Lena fucking Luthor. But, then again, Kara Danvers was always destined for greatness. In the words of the great Alicia Keys: even when she's a mess, she still puts on a vest with an S on her chest (oh yes), and in this current instance she's flaunting her house crest for the sole purpose of fucking her girlfriend.
And that's just as important as saving the world, she likes to think.
"I'm gonna mark you up where no one else can see it," Kara says, sliding her hand down to cup Andrea's ass. It's small enough to fit into her hand, but plump enough to be gripped. "Not even you. You're gonna be sore all day tomorrow, keep being reminded of tonight with nothing to show for it. Only I'm gonna be able to see how pretty you look after I'm done, bruised and red and flushed, all just for me."
Andrea's legs are shaking. She's breathing hard against her arms, moaning wordlessly and gasping before she finally says, "Please, okay," ass smashing against Kara's crotch like she thinks she could just fuck herself through both their pants with just how much she wants it. It's a little weird, though, the way she says it, raw and vulnerable, like she's Kara's baby and not the hardened criminal she's supposed to be playing. It makes Kara's head start swirling, trying to figure out if they're still going, because if Andrea's breaking character and she's not playing anymore, then Kara doesn't want to punish her when she could just fuck her.
So, just to be sure sure, she runs her hand up Andrea's back, thumbing along her shoulder blade as she asks, "Color, please, again?"
"Green, green, green, so fucking green," Andrea rushes out, and Kara relaxes again.

Kara needs to realise she's in love with Lena on her own!!
This one for away from me! 😅
I've been seeing a lot of posts saying they wish Cat Grant would come back and tell Kara she is in love with Lena, or that Alex should tell her.
But the thing is, I don't want that to happen!
Guys, one of things that has been annoying people to no end is the fact that Kara has to be TOLD she's into someone. She had to be told she was into Mon El and she's basically being told she's into William.
Lena had to be told she had chemistry with James, a romance that came out of literally nowhere and didn't go anywhere but rock bottom because of the lack of build up, chemistry, communication and utter disrespect James had for Lena both as a girlfriend and as his boss.
Anyone who reads my posts knows I couldn't stand James, but at least he and Kara had actual chemistry in season one right from the get go. Kara didn't need to be told she was into James, she was aware of it. She did however have to be told by Alex that Adam was flirting with her.
So why would we want someone to once again tell Kara she is into someone rather than her coming to this realisation all on her own?
Should the writers ever put Kara and Lena together they need to come to the realisation that they are into each other all on their own. Constantly having to be told you are into someone is a poor way of showing a romance.
Antis would have a field day it Alex or anyone else told Kara she was in love with Lena. They would say the exact same thing we've been saying, that they had to be told this because there is no chemistry.
So no, I don't want Cat Grant to come back to tell Kara she's being and idiot and is in love with Lena. Should the writers want to make SC canon I want Kara to realise she's in love with Lena. I want the writers to stop making her an oblivious dumb ass who protests she isn't into someone only for another character to tell her she must be and for her to be like "yeah you must be right and I must be wrong " and to constantly second guess herself.
Kara had chemistry with Mon El but the relationship was riddled with problems, lies and a lack of respect. Not all on Mon Els part, Kara didn't have a lot of respect for him either and tried to push him into doing something he didn't want to do.
My biggest issue with Karamel and why I never saw it as endgame was because these two characters didn't really know all that much about eachother. Kara knew Mon El the ex royal guard and the new person he decided to be on Earth and Mon El knew Kara Danvers and Supergirl. Kara didn't know who Mon El truly was until just before she had to send him away. She found out he was the Prince she couldn't stand and they had no time to discuss it before he was yeeted into space. After Mon El came back he was someone completely different, he wasnt the Mon El she had known and Mon El finally got to meet Kara Zor El. This would have been good for me if he hadn't come back with a wife. But he did, and he still strung Kara along, even discussing his marriage issues with her to the point she told him she didn't want to hear it.
Now Kara and Lena have a similar issue. Lena got to know Kara Danvers and Supergirl but unlike Mon El she knew them as two separate people. Kara got to know Lena Luthor, Lena didn't have a secret second identity and didn't lie about who she was, she didn't pretend to be "Lena Thorul" or "Tess Mercer". Kara actively kept her identity a secret from Lena which would have been fine if she hadn't gone all OOC in season 3 and decided she could play Lena by being an ass to her as Supergirl but then come back and play nice and be Lena's bff as Kara Danvers. Yes, Lena kept secrets from Supergirl but she didn't do these things to hurt her, secrets were kept to protect Sam and it's not like Supergirl didn't keep secrets from Lena. Lena didn't tell Kara everything either, but why would she tell her civilian best friend about the top secret projects she was working on ? Or that she had met with Lex and was keeping him alive? What buisness is that of Kara Danvers?
Remember when Kara screamed at Mon El that she had given her heart to a lying Jack ass?
what if Lena believes she gave her heart to a lying Jack ass as well? Lena even told Kara that she had broken her heart.
The funny thing about these two is that no matter what they just can't forget about each other. Even when Supergirl was being an ass to Lena she was still there for her and Lena was still there for Supergirl. They may have been mad at each other but they came swooping in whenever the other needed help.
Remember the scene where Kara had hoped that what had happened wouldn't ruin their friendship? But Lena wasn't going to sit and take that and told her that she had real friends, ones that didn't lie to her and didn't ask her boyfriend to vilolate her trust? Kara or rather Supergirl looked broken and what did she do? Kara went straight back to Lena for the first time in RAO knows when as Kara Danvers so she could be with her best friend so she could have Lena in some way. But we still saw the guilt on her face when Lena said she could never trust Supergirl again.
Then we had the reveal and great RAO!! That was one of the most emotional scenes the show has ever produced. Kara was broken! She knew what she had done was wrong, keeping the secret for a while wasn't wrong but all the bull shit that came with it and the length of time was what was wrong. Kara herself has admitted this. Kara was practically hyperventilating when she revealed herself and when Lena just walked passed her she was broken. The look of utter relief when she believed Lena had forgiven her was amazing. Personally to me it looked like Lena really did in some way forgive her and couldn't bear to see Kara like that. She's always been weak around Kara, but the moment she was alone with the AI and only her thoughts for company the hard side of her that closes of any feelings of love came out.
Then we had Kara going out of her way to try to make Lena happy. She flew around the world to her her favourite things to make her happy. Lena really looked like she appreciated this , I know that she was pretending but part of me thinks she really did appreciate it. It only took a request and one pouty face from Lena for Kara to break the law, to go against advice not to do it just to make Lena happy. Non of that was healthy for either one of them, the problem was that they didn't really discuss the 3 years of lies and everything that came with it. They had a few tears and a hug and suddenly were bffs only with super benefits now. We know why Lena didn't bring it up, but Kara was willing to accept that everything was absolutely fine and she didn't really question it, she was to over the moon Lena seemed OK with her.
Then we had the scene in the Fortress. Lena may have been trying to play the big bad I don't need you Luthor in this scene but she failed miserably. This was Lena's turn to absolutely break down like Kara did at the award ceremony. There are true feeling of love between these two whichever type of love you decide it is. You don't break down over someone you don't care about. Lena shot Lex to keep the world and Kara safe even though she felt betrayed by Kara. Now I know people hate that Lena used Kryptonite , but I'm sorry Kara showed no signs of pain, only heart break. Plus no one gave a rats ass when Jonn or Alex used it on her and she showed it bloody hurt. Even after she was released from the fortress she showed no signs of being in any pain, so any 'torture' commentators can sit down before you hurt yourselves.
Kara STILL believed in Lena and didn't want her hurt when she was about to use the medusa virus. It was Alex who used and manipulated her. Kara was almost getting through to Lena before Alex decided trick her then to point a canon at Lena! Rememeber it was Hope that shot at Kara, Lena didn't want that to happen at all.
Lena is still fighting to help save the day even when she supposedly hates Kara. She helped during Crisis and even if she did 100% hate Kara and the super friends she is still the reason 1000s are still alive. But no one wants to remember that. No one wants to remember she's the reason National City survived the Daxamites, no one wants to remember how she helped with Reign. No one wants to rememeber how she re-created Harun El and cured cancer. No one wants to rememeber that she mass produced Harun El and gave it to Alura along with the recipe so Argo could survive. No one wants to remember she saved Argo a second time when she shot Lex. No one wants to remember that she saved all the aliens of National City from the isotope. No one wants rememeber she had a suit ready to save Supergirl from the poisoned air. Shall I go on? Lena Luthor is a hero, she's going down a dodgy path because she is hurt, confused, betrayed and traumatised but it doesn't mean she's evil. A lot of fans don't seem to understand the definition of the word at all, Lena isnt being good right now by any stretch of the imagination but she certainly isn't evil.
People keep saying how she should finally have her redemption, and how bad it is that the guys get theirs. But here's the thing, all those things I mentioned above? Those ARE Lena's redemption. To be completely honest, Lena came into the show with people believing she needed redemption because of her name. But she didn't, it wasnt Lena herself who needed the redemption, it was the family name. Lena hasn't redeemed the Luthor name so much because Lillian and Lex kept f**king it up, but my RAO she has more than earned her place as hero and not like her family at all. This right here? Is a set back and everyone likes to conveniently forget everything she's done.
The writers have made Lena very OOC this season. Personally I think she will give up on this idea of hers. Lena isn't an angel, but then neither is Kara, or Alex, or Jonn or Brainy. The only actual angels at the moment are probably Nia and Kelly since we haven't seen them do anything dodgy or kill anyone (I'm assuming bad past Brainy did) and have it glossed over like it didn't matter.
But now we have Kara still not being able to stop talking about Lena. Even in regards to possibly starting a relationship with William she can't help but compare it to what happened to Lena.
Now that was a lot, but bottom line is if Kara is in love with Lena SHE and only SHE needs to come to that realisation. Having someone else tell her would cheapen it and make it look like the writers had no choice but to have some tell Kara to make it real, just like that have been doing non stop so far.
Plus Lena and Kara can not start a relationship any time soon. That would be a terrible idea. They can realise they are in love but starting something together would be rushed and unhealthy. THERAPY! They have Kelly there! But personally I think Kelly giving any kind of therapy to her girlfriends sister and her brothers ex would be a conflict of interest. She would be biased in Kara's favour whether she would realise it or not.
Peace ✌

A/N: If you guys want I could do a part two but I hope you guys like it! :)
For the longest time Kara thought that only herself, Kal-El, and Astra were the only Kryptonians left. There have been many nights where she would stay up and think about you. Back on Krypton the two of you were best friends, Kara also had a huge crush on you, her feelings for you have never gone away even after all this time.
One day Kara went to see Astra, that was when Astra let it slip that you had survived. At first Kara couldn’t believe it, but as Astra told her everything she knew it was true.
When Kara got back to her apartment she saw Alex waiting for her. Alex could tell something happened. “What happened?”
“She’s alive Alex.” Kara said softly. Suddenly a huge smile forms on her face. “She’s alive!”
“Who? Kara, who’s alive?” Alex placed her hands on Kara’s shoulders, making Kara look at her.
“(Y/N)’s alive! She’s been living in Star City all this time!” Kara started rushing around the apartment. “I have to try and find her I need to-”
Alex was able to grab Kara, making her stop. “Calm down okay? We’ll find her, I promise.” She pulled Kara into a hug.
xxxxx
When Kara arrived at Star City she knew she had to talk to Oliver. Once she described you to Oliver he immediately knew who you were. He told her that you were working with The Legends along with Sara. He went on to tell her about how you and Sara were dating.
As soon as she heard that her heart break, she pushed that aside though. Kara would deal with the pain later, right now all she wanted was to find you.
Oliver was able to get in contact with Sara, he asked her if The Legends had a free moment to come and visit Star City for a little bit.
“They’ll be here tomorrow.” Oliver told Kara.
xxxxx
Oliver took Kara to the meeting point. Kara was so excited that she couldn’t stand still. As soon as she saw the Waverider land she started to get nervous.
Sara was the first one to walk out, she pulled Oliver into a hug. “Okay Oliver, what did you want to see us about?”
“(Y/N) there’s someone here who wants to see you.” Oliver said to you.
You raised an eyebrow at him, you were about to ask who it was but then you saw her. Your eyes widened. “K-Kara? Is that really you?”
“It’s really me.” Kara smiled.
You smiled before rushing over to her, pulling her into a tight hug, you weren’t afraid of hurting her since you had a gut feeling she had the same powers as you. Kara hugged you back just as tight.
“I thought I lost you.” You whispered.
Sara glared at Kara, she couldn’t help but feel jealous. But she shouldn’t have a right to feel jealous when she was keeping something from you that she knew would hurt you and end your relationship.
xxxxx
The Legends were able to stay in Star City for a few days and you were so happy. During the time you and Kara spent together Kara noticed that Sara was cheating on you, when she found this out she wanted to confront Sara but she didn’t.
What Kara didn’t understand was how you hadn’t noticed yet. But you had a suspicion something was going on for some time now.
You were trying to find Sara on the Waverider, you decided to check the room you two shared. When you walked in you froze when you saw Sara on the bed making out with someone else.
“What the hell?!” You could feel the tears threatening to fall.
Sara pulled away from person. “(Y/N) it’s not what it looks like!”
“Don’t give me that bullshit!” You growled. “I can’t believe you!” You glared at Sara before you took your glasses off and used your heat vision to burn the photo of you and Sara that was on the bedside table. “We’re over.”
You stormed out of the room and left the Waverider. Kara was on her way to see what caused you to start yelling when she saw you leaving the Waverider. She frowned and went after you.
Outside you were pacing back and forth when you heard Kara come outside. You looked over at her. “How could she do that? I thought she loved me...” Tears started rolling down your cheeks.
“I’m so sorry (Y/N).” Kara pulled you into a hug, holding you close. You wrapped your arms around her tightly, you nuzzled your face into her neck. How could she hurt you like this? Kara wanted to go give Sara a piece of her mind but with you in her arms she had to stop herself.
After a few minutes Kara pulled away slightly. “How about you come live with me in National City?”
“Really?” You pulled away from the hug slightly.
“Really.” Kara smiled. “What do you say?”
You thought about it for a second, you had friends here on the team but after what Sara did you knew it would be hard to keep working with her. Plus you wanted to be with Kara again and this was your chance to be able to spend more time with her.
“Okay.” You smiled.
xxxxx
Kara had brought you to her apartment, you looked around a smiled. It definitely screamed Kara that’s for sure. While Kara was showing you around there was a knock on her door.
“That’s Alex I’ll be right back.” Kara told you before she went to answer the door.
As soon as you and Kara got to National City she had sent Alex a text letting her know that you were going to be living in National City now. Alex’s curiosity got the best of her and she had to meet you.
You came out of Kara’s room just as Alex walked into the apartment. Once Alex saw you her eyes widened. Kara smiled. “(Y/N) this is Alex.”
You walked over to Alex and Kara. “It’s nice to meet you, Kara told me a lot about you.” You held your hand out to Alex.
Alex blinked a few times before she shook your hand. “It’s nice to finally meet the woman Kara couldn’t shut up about all these years.” She chuckled.
You looked over at Kara, you raised an eyebrow. You could’ve swore you saw Kara blush. Looking back at Alex you let out a chuckle. “She couldn’t shut up about me?”
You were only in National City for a few hours but it already felt like home.

Karadox for the AU ideas
Coffee shop AU: Who is the barista, and who frequents the coffee shop?
Kara’s the barista, Brainy’s the customer.
Though, he kinda walked in the shop by accident, it was late one night and he was tired from studying for his exams. And he wanted coffee and Winn told him once that there was a coffee shop close to campus that was always open. Kara happened to be on the night shift that night, and well, Brainy always makes a point of visiting every time she’s working. Does Winn tease him about it? Yes. But that’s okay because Alex teasing her about it too.
Highschool/College AU: Who is the straight-A student, and who’s the backrow slacker?
They both are straight-A students from high school to college. But, in high school Brainy was more of a slacker and that’s only because he wanted to spite his mother. It wasn’t until he started college that he broke away from his mom that he took school more seriously. And he wanted to impress Kara.
Rivals to loves AU: Who takes their rivalry seriously, and who is half in it just to push the other’s buttons?
Not gonna lie, I like the idea of Brainy teasing Kara every time he has a higher grade or just does something better then her. Yes, I have in mind that they’re in school.
Enemies to lovers AU: Which one switches sides?
Brainy. In this au, he’s never caught and never met Nura. He stayed by his mother’s side, helping her with her plans. He meets Supergirl for the first time. But that’s either because her went to the future because the Legionnaires needed help, or the Brainiac’s decided it was better to put their plan to action in the 21st century.
Seeing the good in Brainy, Kara was determined to save him. And it took a few months for that to happen, and eventually Brainy helped Kara take down his mother.
Soulmate AU: Who is eager to meet their soulmate? Who absolutely does not want to meet their soulmate?
Kara’s really eager to meet her soulmate. Has been since she discovered what they were. Brainy not so much. He grew up being taught that soulmates were something no one needed and they were a weakness of some sorts. He does everything he can to not meet his soulmate but he still does by accident. It takes awhile for him to change his mind. Kara helps with that too.
Single parent AU: Which one is the single parent? (Alt. if they’re both single parents: Which one is open to starting a new relationship from the start? Which one is never planning on finding love again… Until they meet the other and are instantly smitten?)
I’m going go with both of them being a single parent. (I don’t know who the parents are, they just have child that’s like 5)
Kara’s open to starting a new relationship, and Brainy isn’t. He’s done after his last relationship. It isn’t until he meets Kara at school. Both their children go to the same school they just haven’t crossed paths until their kids became friends.
Brainy’s daughter asked him if she could invite her new friend over on the weekend. He said yes, and she immediately went over to Kara’s son and dragged him over, leaving Kara to follow after them.
They start to hang out more after their kids became best friends. And the kids both liked the idea of their parents dating. Being kids they come up with a plan to set their parents up.
Brainy’s daughter asked him if he liked Ms. Danvers. Brainy spit out his drink at how blunt she was being.
Doctor AU: Which one is the longsuffering doctor? Which one is the patient?
Brainy’s the doctor, Kara came in with a broken arm. They met through the ER. Brainy was ready to sleep for a day after his long shift, and Kara cracked a joke about how dead he looked and it wasn’t a look for a hospital. After, they just clicked.
Bodyguard AU: Who is the bodyguard? Who are they protecting? Which one is secretly pining for the other?
I’m going to make this a mafia au too.
Brainy’s mom is the head of the Calu Family, and worried about her, hires Kara as a bodyguard. Kara knows what she’s getting into when she was hired but Brainy was a little sceptic about it, but when he saw her fight off someone for the first time, he was okay with it.
I should note that Brainy wants nothing to do with ‘the family business.’
Both of them are secretly pinning for each other. But Brainy was the first one to do so. You know, love at first sight and all.
Pirate AU: Who is the pirate? Who is the member of the royal family who did not sign up for this?
Kara’s the pirate. And she’s the best. Brainy’s the member of the royal family who dreams about running away from his home.
And it happens too, one day he dumps into Kara as she’s running away from the guards. And she’s laughing and having fun and Brainy’s in wonderment. The guards are catching up, so before Brainy has a chance to even say or ask anything, Kara takes a hold of his hand and they start running. She doesn’t care that he’s a prince, he was there and she needed help.
One thing led to another and Brainy found himself on Kara’s ship. Kara gave him the option of ratting them out (much to her crew members dismay) or come with them and be free. Brainy picked the latter.
Childhood best friends AU: Which one was super obviously in love with the other the whole time? Who was oblivious until they were older?
Kara’s the one who is helpless in love with Brainy. Has been since they were five, but it didn’t start growing until 7th grade. When they were little, Kara had claimed that she was going to marry Brainy. He agreed, but didn’t really think she was serious.
He started falling for her in high school and even then, he needed help realizing that he was in love with her. Did Winn and James help him? Maybe.

species: Daxamite alien, posing as human
status: villain, posing as a good civilian
occupation: former servant to Daxam Royalty, current bartender
home earth: E-38
biography:
past:
Born into a family of servants, Rok was whipped into shape in order to be neither seen nor heard as a being with hopes and dreams. He was forced into being selfless, his needs were at the bottom of the totem pole of importance when working under the Royal Family of Daxam. He endured years of abuse, with no chance for escape. That is, until things began crumbling around them. Krypton was being destroyed, and everyone scattered as their own planet was quaking. Rok had been working on a damaged pod he’d found discarded, and while it wasn’t up to snuff, it was either die under a pile of rubble or die trying to escape the hell he’d grown up in.
He managed to escape before too much damage was caused by the destruction of Daxam’s sister planet of Krypton. Due to the damaged pod he escaped in, his ride through space was without hypersleep and he crash landed on Earth-38, wounded and confused. His forced selflessness became twisted during is journey, becoming selfishness, surrounded by anger and vengence, growing stronger for those he was beneath for so long. He vowed to never again be under the boot of another, that he would be the ruler of his own destiny. He was 25 at the time of the crash landing, giving him five years to fully discover the expanse of his powers under Earth’s yellow sun. He adopted the name Hugh Montgomery and began his life on Earth, starting with a few robberies to secure an apartment under the radar before taking his rightful place at the top.
present
After some time, Hugh discovered there was a lack of the heroes everyone grew so fond of. No Supergirl, no Superman. Where did they run off to? While he didn’t particularly care either way, it did give him ample opportunity to wreak havoc on National City. But suddenly, they were back all at once. What was happening? The Daxamite trailed the heroes, watching from afar as they scoured National City. Top to bottom they searched, but for what? Hugh pushed it from his mind, only concerned with where they had come from and where they were going as one of them opened a glowing blue portal, of sorts.
After they had all passed through, Hugh tapped into his enhanced speed, running through the portal just in time as it closed behind him. He ran through undetected, finding himself on what he could only assume was another Earth, perhaps a different universe. Jumping right into things, he secured himself a job at a dive bar, and wiggled his way into mischief under the cover of darkness. He seemed like a nice, average guy, but deep within there was a hunger for vengeance and revenge for the abuse he endured on Daxam.

Enough to go Around
For katieisagoddess who asked for Kalex to AgentSuperCorp. Kara and Alex are together, but no one knows except Eliza and J’onn. They go on a date one night, and Lena sees them (she’s not mad that Kara didn’t tell her about being Supergirl) doesn’t quite catch that they’re leaving a date, asks Kara out on a date. Kara and Alex share a look, tell her that they’re actually dating, then offer to have her join them.
I own nothing. Another prompt fill!
Words: 3626
Alex stared down the women across from her.
Why did the stupid alien have to be so damn attractive?
More importantly, why did their resident billionaire philanthropist also have to be so attractive as well? Lena was looking between them as if she were watching a tennis match.
Between the two of them, Alex was glad she had her training to fall back on. She would lament to Kara over the situation later. The billionaire in question was her best friend after all.
Actually, Kara might just try to set the two of them up. Her sister was like that, despite her fairly obvious crush on the CEO.
“Just admit defeat Agent Danvers,” Supergirl spoke, her attempts to keep a straight face not fairing very well. “Ms. Luthor is correct in this case.”
Lena made absolutely no attempt to hide her smirk. She set down her cards. A royal flush stared back at Alex mockingly.
Why, between the three of them, had they only had a deck of lead-backed playing cards for entertainment? Alex made a mental note to outfit the lockdown rooms with something else just in case (when) something like this happened again.
What had happened was some idiot hadn’t followed proper lab procedures, releasing a chemical agent that resulted in the entire building going into a quarantine lockdown until the air scrubbers could do the basic and DEO agents from the desert base could get into the city to clear the building.
Since neither Supergirl nor Lena Luthor was meant to be in the DEO, Alex had dragged them into the room attached to her lab. She was the only one with direct access, so she would be able to scrub the footage later. Brainy would have already done so to anything showing the two women being present at all.
And so here they were, several hours into lockdown and the only way to apparently keep Supergirl from having a claustrophobic meltdown was cuddles and games. Hence the worn deck of playing cards and many rounds of poker.
Alex shelved the thought that Supergirl was a lot like Kara in that respect. Her little sister hated small spaces. Cuddles and mental distractions (and sometimes food, but that was in short supply right now) were really the only ways to help her calm down and stay that way.
Supergirl was tucked up against Lena’s side at the moment, but her bare feet were settled beneath Alex’s crossed legs. The agent had to give her some credit, her toes weren’t cold.
“Fine,” Alex tossed down her cards. A trio of Kings and a pair of Aces was a good hand, against anything else. “New game please, anything but poker.”
“Blackjack or Texas Hold’em?” Lena gathered the cards up and began to shuffle them.
Alex would remember that day clearly for some time after her memories were returned. It had made her think of several things she never would have otherwise.
Like the fact that her crush on Kara was nowhere near as gone as she thought it was. She had apparently just needed to take the sister-conditioning out of the equation to act on it. Admitting to these feelings had brought them to now, entangled together on Kara’s couch.
“Oh…wow,” she breathed once they stopped kissing.
“I have wanted to do that for so long,” Kara whispered. She wasn’t nearly as breathless as Alex, but she was vibrating in her excitement.
This was practically everything she had wanted since she understood that relationships did not work the same on Earth as they had on Krypton.
She may have taken slight advantage of Alex not knowing she was Supergirl but flirting with her while in uniform, but Alex had chosen to respond to said flirting. That they had continued said flirting after Alex had her memories back, well, that had been Alex’s choice as well.
“Why didn’t you just do it?” Alex asked in a moment of curiosity.
Kara scowled at her. “Because I didn’t want to hear the ‘that’s not how it works on Earth Kara’ lecture again.” She finally noticed she was vibrating and focused on calming down enough to stop. “Besides, at least I had you even if we weren’t together. I want you to be happy Alex, even if it wasn’t with me.”
Alex winched, thinking of Maggie, Sam, Sara, and a few others that she had been with since figuring out she was a lesbian and not just weird for having a crush on her alien foster sister. Being in love with, she silently amended the thought.
“What about your crush on Lena?” She teased, tugging her alien back into her lap.
Kara blushed, but returned the statement. “What about yours?”
“Later,” Alex decreed, kissing Kara again. “I want to go out on an actual date with you where we both know it’s a date and we don’t call it anything else.”
Kara’s face brightened. “When? Where? Locally or I can fly us somewhere?”
Alex chuckled. “Calm down. We’ll save the superpowers for another night.”
Their first date went well. Alex took them to a movie she knew they would both enjoy while Kara took them to a probably not legal lookout spot for a picnic and stargazing.
Six weeks in and the only ones really aware of the change in their relationship were J’onn and Eliza. Kara really didn’t understand how that was possible, since neither were outright hiding it.
Huh, she supposed they really had been like that forever. They certainly hadn’t changed much in how they acted around each other. They had added kissing to their greetings, but as neither had any interest in PDA they were kept private. Kara didn’t want to even think about the chaos that would eschew if word got out that Supergirl had a lover.
She perked up when she heard Alex enter the apartment. They really should talk about moving to a singular abode. They were together more often than not.
“So, date night?” Alex wrapped her arms around her girlfriend. That was nice, being able to claim Kara as such.
Kara leaned back into the hold. “We can try that new place on the south side?” She suggested. “Lena mentioned that they have an eating challenge, which means you can take bets from those who underestimate me.”
Alex hummed at the thought, thinking it over. “How is our resident CEO? I haven’t seen her lately.”
“Busy, and she’s going through PAs almost as fast as Ms. Grant right now.” Kara shook her head. “They just can’t keep up with her, or they try and have a break-down which makes Lena feel bad.”
“And so you,” Alex pecked her on the cheek, “have been taking her lunch to give them a break and make certain she eats?”
“Yes,” Kara poked her side, making Alex shift away to avoid being tickled. “Jess told me point blank to my face that she doesn’t understand how I deal with two of you.”
Alex reddened. It was one of the many things she and Lena had in common. It was also one of the things that drew Alex to the other woman. Who better for a workaholic than another workaholic?
“She also knows, and so does Jess.” Kara said absently, turning so she was holding Alex. She floated them above the floor, making her girlfriend squeak at the sudden shift.
“Knows what exactly, and how many NDAs am I going to need to ask for from HR?”
“Supergirl and none, because neither of them are going to say anything. Lena isn’t mad anymore and we talked about it, although I think Jess and Sam may have talked her down from her original response.” Kara frowned, brow furrowed. “I hate that I hurt her Alex, that we hurt her. She trusts us and she’s hurt because she feels like we don’t trust her.”
“Hey,” Alex got Kara to look at her. “You owe no one your secret, no matter what the relationship. We do trust Lena, but this past year has been crazy even for us.” She shifted so she was comfortable sitting on Kara’s crossed legs. She grinned, pushing Kara so they were lying horizontal in the air. Like a cat, she stretched out on the other woman.
Kara giggled, adjusting so that Alex wouldn’t roll off. They would do this often as teenagers and even more now that they were together. They settled that way, basking in the warm glow from the sunlight filtering in thru the windows.
“Come on,” Alex finally said, shifting to roll off onto her own feet. “I still want to go out tonight.”
“Okay,” Kara allowed gravity to affect her again, settling lightly onto her feet. “Are you on-call tonight?”
“Nope,” Alex had a Cheshire-esque smile on her face. “Unless the world is ending, we’re both covered. So no suite tonight and I’ll leave my guns at home.”
Kara eyed her with suspicion. Alex had said guns not weapons. She had emptied Alex’s pockets on several occasions. Her girlfriend was capable of hiding a wide variety of objects on her person, many seemingly innocent until an attacker was bleeding or otherwise incapacitated.
The agent rolled her eyes. “Fine, I’ll leave all of my nice weapons at home where they’ll be lonely and neglected.”
“They’ll get over it,” Kara retorted.
Grumbling, Alex began pulling out a truly astonishing amount of items. She wasn’t dressed for work, having already changed before coming over to Kara’s. Would it be too strange to start talking about moving in together? Kara didn’t have what Alex would deem appropriate weapons storage, plus it wasn’t as if Alex didn’t already have a large number of her things here to begin with or Kara at hers.
“Ready?” Kara ignored the pile of gadgets and weaponry Alex had placed on the table.
“Yeah, let’s lock up and go.” Alex looked at the pile of things. Maybe just one? Kara had her powers always, surly she could bring just one…
“Come on,” Kara tugged her towards the door. She swung back and picked up a pocket knife that probably wasn’t one, handing it to her lover. “Stop pouting. That’s my line.”
Laughing, Alex took the offered weapon and attached to her belt. “Come on dork. Show me this restaurant.”
The ‘new place on the south side’ turned out to be a strange amalgamation of Chinese and American cuisine. The eating challenge was one hundred potstickers in an hour. The platter was a mix of every flavor of potsticker (Alex would later argue that some of the combinations should not count as a potsticker) offered, equating to ten sets of ten.
Kara’s eyes were wide at such a thing and ordered two. Alex had managed to keep a blank face, but inside she was cackling madly. Within ten minutes of placing their order, Alex had placed a dozen bets with other patrons and two servers. She had gotten herself the trial platter of the potstickers, a dish a tenth of the size of what was served to Kara.
Alex sat back to enjoy the show as the timer started. She knew some people found it disgusting, watching someone shovel food into their mouths the way Kara could. She was immune to it by this point. Other people’s reactions were far more entertaining.
“Alex, these are so good! Did you try yours?” Kara finished off the ones described as a pizza in a potsticker (pepperoni, sausage, and cheese in a tomato sauce shoved in the dumpling wrapper).
“Huh…that’s a really weird texture.” Alex glanced at the plate to see the label, agreeing that the beans did give it a strange but not entirely unpleasant texture. She did make a note to try the chili on its own, to which Kara agreed.
“Bleh, never ordering these on their own but Lena will like them.” This was about the vegetarian ones which contained kale. Alex took a picture as proof to show Lena that Kara had willingly eaten the vegetable.
The traditional ones barely lasted a blink. Alex had eaten that one first off her plate, just to save it from disappearing into Kara’s stomach.
“Oh, spicy!” Kara said with delight as she demolished the buffalo chicken filled dumplings. The habanero ranch ones followed, chased down by the small glass of milk that came with it.
More than half done, Alex checked the clock. They still had thirty minutes.
“Oh my…Alex we have to learn how to make these!” Kara stuffed the rest of the cheeseburger potstickers in mouth almost as fast as she had the traditional and pizza versions.
Alex scoffed. “Not unless you want a hazmat team in the apartment.”
“We’re not that bad!” Kara defended. They always managed Thanksgiving and simple dishes easily enough. Potstickers couldn’t be that difficult to make! Then she could have them every day!
“Finish your food,” Alex prodded her. She was keeping an even tally (as she always did) on what Kara did and did not like.
“Hmm…this taste more like crab ragoon than a potsticker,” Kara commented, inhaling them. That was one of Alex’s and Lena’s preferred side dishes when they ordered Chinese take-out. Kara didn’t mind it; that always meant more potstickers for her.
“ohh…Philly cheese steak!” Alex was tempted to snag some of those, but refrained. She could always get her own order.
The final one was sweet, more desert than appetizer. It was styled after a traditional apple pie and was encrusted with cinnamon sugar (Alex argued that it was closer to an empanada than a potsticker).
Grinning, Alex hit the button to stop the clock with ten minutes to spare. Her girlfriend had just eaten two hundred potstickers in fifty minutes and earned Alex nearly double that plus her own meal was covered.
As Alex collected her winnings, Kara got her picture taken to be placed on the wall with the others who had defeated the challenge. There weren’t many and Kara’s picture got pride of place.
“Still hungry?” Alex asked her softly.
“I’m good for now. Want to take a walk on the pier?” Kara held out her hand.
“Sure,” Alex took the offered hand, lacing their fingers together.
“Oh…hello.”
They both looked up, a bit surprised to see the woman who had been the topic of their earlier conversation.
“Lena! Hi!” Kara released Alex’s hand so she could hug their friend.
“Hey Lena,” Alex greeted, taking the other woman in.
The CEO was dressed down (for her) in tight jeans and a loose MIT hoodie (not, Alex noted, the faded one she favored on movie nights). She also wasn’t wearing heels, so she was now shorter than the both of them. Alex approved of the sturdy look to the boots. Kara caught her looking and smiled.
Lena, for her part, hugged Kara tightly. She hadn’t meant to interrupt what was clearly a Sister’s Night, and they had done something if the shit-eating grin on Alex’s face was any indication. She breathed in Kara’s scent, it’s familiarity comforting and giving her the courage to be spontaneous.
“Can I ask you something?” Lena asked softly.
Kara’s smile was soft. “Sure.”
“Kara Danvers, would you go on a date with me?”
Kara blinked. Alex blinked. Lena fidgeted, wondering if she had misread the signals she often got from both women. She liked both of them, but she had met and fallen for Kara first. If Kara said no, Lena was determined to remain friends with both of them (after a bit of time to build back up certain walls).
“Oh…um…” Kara exchanged a look with Alex. “We already on a date.” She said in answer. “We’ve been dating for weeks.”
“Oh…oh…” well…that was heartbreaking. Not entirely unexpected, but still heartbreaking. “I see...I’ll just leave you to it then.”
The pair exchanged another look. Kara didn’t mind in the least bit. Trios and Quads, while not prolific were not uncommon on Krypton. The Matrix matched those who would suit the needs of Krypton both current and future; sometimes that meant more than a simple pair. Two of her classmates had had parents in sets of three; another had had a set of four.
“Join us,” Alex offered. She wasn’t entirely certain how this was going to work out, but she was willing to try. She liked Lena. Given the chance, she was certain she would love her just as much as Kara already did.
“I don’t wish to intrude,” Lena made to step back but Kara tightened her hold on Lena’s hand.
“Humans,” she huffed in Kryptonian. She had more than enough love for the both of them and she had no doubt they were the same, in their own ways. “You wouldn’t be intruding Lena, we want you to join us and be part of our date.” She took a step closer to Alex, holding out her other hand. “If you wanted to.”
“We want you to,” Alex offered her free hand. “We’re going for a walk along the pier, possibly for ice cream if they’re still open.”
“You’re both serious,” Lena said, looking at them with surprise. They really were, she was coming to accept as they looked at her and waited for her response.
“Of course we are.” Kara asserted. Alex nodded in agreement.
She hesitated for a moment longer before taking Alex’s offered hand. In an instant that screamed of Kara using her speed, Lena found herself tucked between them and being led towards the dimly lit pier and the setting sun.
“So what were you doing out here?” Alex asked, tucking a hand into Kara’s back pocket. Her arm was just long enough to fit comfortable around both her companions.
Lena blushed. “I was coming to pick up dinner before going to Kara’s, to ask her out.” Or a movie night if she chickened out. Either way, she would get to spend time with the blonde.
“Wait, does that mean you haven’t eaten yet? Lena, lunch was hours ago!”
Both of them laughed at the blonde’s incredulous look.
“Alex, we have to fix this! I’ll be right back.” Kara disappeared, leaving them alone.
“Kara,” Alex held up her wallet. Kara came back, snatched it, and disappeared again. “Stay local!” Alex called out, knowing Kara would hear her.
“Just how often doesn’t she listen to that bit?” Lena asked, daring to lean further into Alex’s embrace. The other woman was warm and felt safe, something that Lena normally only associated with Kara.
“Often enough, has she ever brought you these fluffy stuffed bread rolls?”
“Yes, several times,” Lena answered warily.
Alex nodded. “She tell you they’re from a tiny little shop around the corner of somewhere really vague?”
“Yes.”
“Yeah, they’re from this tiny little place in an equally tiny French town.” Alex told her. “Has she ever brought you borsht?”
“Once or twice…and she brought it from somewhere in Russia.” Lena tallied up the various things Kara had ever brought her.
“No,” Alex snickered, “she gets that from NYC. She did get Lucy vodka from Russia once, last year for the holidays. She picked mom up some tea from there as well.” She found a picnic table they could sit at. “Kara loves food, which I know you know, but feeding people is also a way for her to show how much she cares for someone. The exchange of food is also part of Kryptonian courting practices.”
Lena blinked at her. “Just how long as Kara, either on accident or purposefully, been courting us?”
“Me since high school, you…” Alex paused for thought. “I think she started doing it on purpose after frat-boy left." That was probably some of the worst advice she’d ever given Kara. “Honestly, it’s not something I think she’s even aware she does. Human mating rituals confuse her a lot more than I ever thought they did.”
“I see,” it certainly made a lot of sense. “Are you just doing this for her?”
“Yes and no,” Alex admitted after a moment of silence. “Yes, because I will do absolutely anything for Kara. No, because I have a crush on you and would like to see how well we click romantically.” She huffed in exasperation. “Not knowing Kara was Supergirl was the most frustrating eight months of my life.”
“Wait, what?”
Alex explained much of what had been going on the past year, including the crushes she had developed for two people on top of her long suppressed feelings for her foster sister.
“The press is going to have a field day with this,” Lena decided she didn’t care at the moment.
Alex chuckled darkly. “Let them try.”
“I’m back!” Kara smiled widely at them, handing over two boxes.
“These are potstickers,” Lena said in surprise. Kara never shared potstickers. Even Alex had to fight for them. She looked over to see what Alex had been given. It appeared to be some kind of donut. Whatever it was, Alex was happily tearing into it.
“Kale potstickers,” Kara answered, happy to babble about the eating challenge. “Alex took a picture as proof I ate them.”
Lena tried them, surprised to find she liked the taste and texture. It wasn’t entirely well-balanced as far as meals went, but she had become accustomed to that when eating with Kara. She did enjoy the little berry tarts Kara had brought as well.
“Ice cream now?”
Alex laughed, ruffling Kara’s hair. “Come on. Jerry’s should still be open.”
Lena found herself placed back in the center as they continued their walk around the pier. She settled in.
She had a feeling this was the start of something wonderful. She didn’t see the shared look of her companions as they agreed with her unspoken thought.
The start of something wonderful indeed.

It’s More than Just Dumplings Pt. 3
Part 1 Part 2
________________________________________________________________
“It is not a gang, it is a clan symbol of one of the most powerful and ancient clans of all of Pandora. They are known as the Kodachi. And this a problem you should not take lightly. Especially for you, Supergirl.” A woman said that has caused everyone at the DEO to take out their guns as they were prepared to fire.
“Shiori?!” You say as you were bewildered at how she had escaped the Hōzuki Castle. Or formerly known as the Blood Prison.
“Everyone stand down! Do not engage! Do. Not. Engage!” J’onn yelled as he knew what would happen if he were to let all the Deo agents engaged with the unknown alien.
As the mysterious woman continued to pace around you and ask the very same questions that are going on in your mind, Alex immediately begins to question your connection to the imminent threat as she holds her fire. By looking at you then to the mysterious woman who had mysteriously shown up.
[Evil Laugh] "What's the matter Carci? Cat got your tongue? Or, is it (y/n) now?" She says maliciously. At the same time, as you try to remain calm, you find it harder and harder to resist the temptation to give into anger and abandon the teachings of your ancestors. For you to not only control your powers but, to keep you from giving away your alien identity. Although you have never felt this much power that is driven by hatred in someone whom you've once had a bond within the past, you can't help but not know what to do. Suddenly, before you know it, everything had stopped. As if she had gained the ability to stop time leaving the two of you be the only ones aware of what is going on. No one, not even the DEO agents around you can't see or hear what's currently going on between the both of you as they cannot move or defy her perception of time that has not passed.
"Ah, that is better. Now, where were we? Oh, that's right; you are going to stop me, defeat me, and throw in one of those useless cells you humans are so proud of having. Oh wait- you can't can you. You're just one of their lackeys that they can order around."
"Well, at least I'm not some narcissistic psychopath that feeds off of power hungry idiots all day while looking for some poor girl to fuck."
"You have all the power in the world, and yet, you chose to leave your royal life for this. Well, that's no fun. Heh, I'm not surprised. You were always the responsible one after all. Someone like you could have easily gone out of their way to break the rules by having them bend to your every will like you were destined to be Heda. And even have your own royal life just like you wanted. Instead, you've decided to be a goody two shoes like your mother." She spluttered. On the other hand, you did not let her words get to as you abide by your former Heda's teachings just as you were taught. That's if she had not let things get back to normal before she disappears again.
"I have never had a mother who cared or loved me. Nor am I as power hungry as you are. So tell me, Satori, what is it that you want. More souls to fill your Box of Paradise."
"Ah, Carci, should not know me by now? After all, we were soulmates. Or at least I thought we were." She says looking at Alex as she sees the bond that is starting to form on Alex's arm through her DEO uniform. *For Pandorians, the bond is a mark that forms on a Pandorian's potential partner (significant other) through a secure emotional connection to them. Then once a Pandorian has a partner and the bond fully solidifies on their partner, their emotions and feelings are shared between both of them whether they are apart or together even when one is in trouble. But as a Pandorian chooses to end that relationship with that partner, that bond will fray away by starting to turn into a severe cut then end with it being a scar on their body. As for humans, it's the same process but, there won't be any scars as it heals.*
"You leave her and her family out of this."
"Oh? She actually cares for these humans. But are not forgetting something? What was it again, something about love being a weakness."
"Cut the chit-chat and lets on with it."
"Sounds like someone's getting impatient. This is going to be fun."
Then in a blink of an eye, the time had resumed startling everybody of what just happened. Just then, Shiori had applied this vast amount of force that threw everyone and including you through the walls and outside falling to their deaths. You, however, reacted quickly and employed your shadow clones along with your gravity switch saving everyone. But even so, it did not stop there. As you have tried to make contact with your former soulmate in an attempt of defeating her, the next thing you knew you were held captive and proceeded by being punched in the stomach with enormous strength.
You were left to not only fall onto the main lobby floor that left a massive dent underneath you, but it also caused you to spit out some blood in the process. Not only that, you were thankful that you hadn't been thrown into another room. Let alone even being alive.
Alex: "(Y/n)!" Then before J'onn could give the order, Alex began to shoot at the so-called Shiori mindlessly without even knowing what she is capable of doing — and not even thinking that the very thing she is doing can get her killed in less a minute. Much less than a minor injury. You, on the other hand, lay on the floor with you being severely weak and unable to get up.
"Alex! Don't-" you managed to say before you passed out even though it was too late. Contrarily, as she attempted to hit Shiori, her efforts failed as Shiori disappeared out sight and suddenly reappear behind her to throw her up through the glass walls that led to her lab on the second floor; knocking her unconscious with various other injuries that could be fatal. Soon enough, the rest of the DEO agents will quickly follow. Not even Supergirl can lay a single scratch.
[Du-thump. Du-thump]
"Promise me you'll live for you. Not as Heda."
"But I did it to protect you."
"You cannot protect me forever. It's your life Carci, not theirs."
"I -"
"Promise me."
Then at that moment, you regained consciousness and punched Shiori with extreme strength throwing her through the walls of three rooms, leaving everyone in wonder at how you have finally managed to hit the mysterious woman — making it seem like you were on a massive rampage. As your eyes have changed into your Dōjutsu form, Yome Ketsuryūgan, Ri and Kai had shown up. But even so, your efforts seemed to have failed as soon as Kai had used the chakra enhancing tool on Shiori. Here, made Shiori gain enormous amounts of chakra — making you rethink if he's the one who taught you how to fight and how to use your powers.
"Is it me or am I experiencing some major Déjà vu." You said frustratingly.
Ri: "Ugh, don’t get me started; it's a long story."
As Shiori had taken those chakras pills she had obtained by Kai's chakra enhancing tool earlier, the three of you did not waste any more time and focused on taking down Shiori.
For the DEO agents, on the other hand, were left not knowing where to put themselves as the three of you just left to fight the mysterious woman called Shiori. Not to mention how you did not take the fight outside. But other agents thought otherwise as the fight would cause harm to other people outside. For J’onn, thinks the best course of action would be gathering up all the agents that had been injured and admit them to med bay while the others stay on guard in case fight extends far beyond anywhere else in the DEO. Not to mention the major financial costs in replacing everything that has been broken and giving J'onn all kinds of stress when thinking about it.

About Lena's Baby: What if Kara, when visiting another Earth, finds her being commanded by Daxam. And the royal family is Queen Rhea, Prince Mon-El and Princess Lena, and half-daxam half-human baby. Lena is their prisoner. And she begs Supergirl to let that world be destroyed, but to save her baby.
Actually, I don't need an crisis set-up for that. I've had a vague outline of an au similar to your premise for a long while now, that I will probably never get to, so here have a taste: Set maybe 15yrs from now, all we know is that the Daxamite Invasion lasted longer than in canon, and while they were eventually routed and driven off the planet, something else happened between Lena and Kara causing them to part ways and not speak again. That cause of their fallout is soon revealed to be a young woman who ambushes Lena in her office one day while she's in National City on business. The girl is desperate to meet her, and practically vibrates with excitement as she looks at Lena. We as the audience know that she is hoping that Lena will look at her, and immediately know who she is.Lena does. It turns out her mother's likeness spans generations.
But to the young woman's shock and heartbreak, Lena speaks not to her, but to someone on the other end of the line when Lena picks up her phone and dials a single number.
"Why is your daughter in my office."And so it is revealed that the young woman is Lena's daughter, a secret princess of Daxam raised by Kara, and who has been told that her mother was a hero and a leader and a genius. Lora has had enough love from the Danvers to never wonder why her mother gave her up, or to question the manner of her birth. The phone call is brief, and when it's over Lora stares in unparalleled disappointment. "Wha--""I'm sorry," Lena says, rising from her desk, "but whatever you expected by coming here is not going to happen.""I-- I'm not expecting anything," Lora stutters. "I know why you weren't able to raise me, but--""If you knew that," Lena cuts in, "you wouldn't have come here."At that moment, Kara walks in, windblown but dressed as Kara Danvers. Lena turns her scowl on her and waits."Lora, could you please give us a moment?" Kara asks."No moment necessary," Lena counters. "Dawn will see you both out."On cue, Lena's assistant appears in the doorway. She holds one hand to the earpiece she's listening to, and from the wary way she's watching the exchange, Kara knows it's security on the other end.Blood boiling, she extends one hand to Lora. "Come on, sweetie. Let's go home."This time, Lora doesn't protest. She quickly takes Kara's hand and exits without another word, though she stares at Lena through wide eyes until the door shuts behind them, sealing Lena within.---Lora may have been raised by the Danvers, but she is her mother's daughter bybeither measure, and she doesn't give up easily. So she tries again that same night, and this time she flies to Lena's apartment balcony, and carefully slips in through the door, left cracked to admit a breeze. Lena is still working, reading through reports on her couch. The only change since the prior visit is the pair of glasses perched on Lena's nose, and the empty stilettos kicked off to one side."I'm sorry," is the first thing Lora says when Lena leans back with a solemn gaze, removing her glasses. "I understand you don't want to see me, and I respect that, I swear I do, even if I don't seem like because I snuck in through your balcony door, but-- I just need to know why."An angular jaw tightens. "This is a conversation you should have with your mother.""I am."Green eyes, so similar to Lora's own, narrow. "I'm not your mother.""See, that's what I don't understand! I love Kara with all my heart-- she has given me all the love I could ever ask for, and I have wanted for nothing. But she never pretended you weren't my biological mother. She always made sure I knew who you were--""She shouldn't have done that.""But why? If Kara was going to tell me, she would have done it already, so I'm asking YOU. Why don't you want to see me?""Because I didn't want you.""Right, because you were busy--""Because I was forced to carry you to term against my will," Lena cuts in, smooth and incisive. "Nothing about your conception or birth was consensual."Lora blinks. "You... you were raped?""Not in so grand a sense. Copulation wasn't necessary, though I suppose one could argue that your implantation in my uterus qualifies.""I don't understand--""You were born shortly after the Daxamite siege was broken. Your birth was orchestrated of Queen Rhea as a ploy to engender trust with the people of Earth."Lena's arms fold over her chest. "By the time National City was liberated, it was too late to abort, so I gave birth to a child I never consented to. After you were born, I told the world you were stillborn, and secretly surrendered you to adoption. So I would never have to see you again.""But...""Lora."They both turn to where Kara stands at the balcony door, resplendent in her Supergirl costume. Lora's stomach churns, but Lena's gaze remains steady as she regards her former friend."Go home," Kara says simply. Her glare is for Lena alone, even when Lora hesitates."But...""Go. Home."Lora obeys, crossing back to the balcony. She tries to catch Lena's eye over Kara's shoulder, but Lena doesn't take her gaze from Kara for a second. She obeys her guardian, leaping off the rail of the balcony and landing softly on the pavement twenty stories below. Then she springs back up, and lands on the balcony below Lena's, and trains her hearing on the room above."Even after all these years, I never thought you'd be so cruel," Kara says, her voice low with anger."That's rich, coming from you," Lena retorts. For the first time since their first meeting, Lora hears inflection in her tone, and it's derisive, cold."You had no right to tell her any of that.""I shouldn't have had to!" Lena returns sharply. "You're the one who's turned cruel, raising that girl to believe in something that would never happen. You set her up for disappointment, and used me to do it."Kara takes a heavy step forward, her boots loud on the tile floor. "I wasn't going to lie to her.""Well, you certainly didn't tell her the truth."Lora's skin crawls in the silence that follows. She's never heard Kara like this. Ever. The next sound is a faint puff of air-- a sigh, from Lena."I told you," she says slowly. "I told you I wanted no part of her life. I gave her up for adoption so I would never have to see her again. Not only did you make sure that couldn't have that and keep my best friend, now you've made sure I could never escape it.""She's not a prison sentence, Lena.""That is exactly what she is! I don't look at her and see a daughter, Kara! I look at her and see the years I spent alone, in pain and discomfort, enduring pregnancy after pregnancy when each one failed. I see the weeks and months I spent in shackles because Rhea was convinced I was the one causing the miscarriages, not the fact their technology wasn't compatible!"I look at her and I see the children I will never get to have on my own terms, because after she came out hale and whole and healthy, there was too much damage to concieve again."Lora's heart pounds in her chest, her hands shaking where they cover her mouth, dampening under tears."God!" Lena exclaims, her voice trembling yet defiant. "You talk about cruelty, but you're the one who's just like Rhea--!""That's not fair--" Kara cuts in, voice rough."You've been violating my consent for years! How is it any different?!""No--""You chose the product of my rape and torture over me! You chose HER, even knowing it meant the end of our friendship, right when I needed you most.""She was just a baby, Lena.""I don't care!" Lena snaps back, her voice wobbling tremulously. "It doesn't matter. The bottom line is that you took her, and then on top of everything else, you made her believe I loved her."Lora's chest spasms, and she has to silence a sob just Lena takes her own ragged breath."How could you do that?"

You know, sometimes the things I see on this website about Lena just make me go ???????? (and here is going to be some constructive criticism. Key word here! This is not bashing or hate but genuinely thoughtful and sincere critique about a character I love and often seen wobified by fandom)
Because Lena isn’t her family and she’s not responsible for their actions, but at the same time Lena is a billionaire. With a B. I am reminded a bit about what I’ve seen people say why they don’t like the modern day royal family, the Queen especially—sure they didn’t quite play a role in some of the atrocities their family committed and are innocent of those acts, but because of those acts they are still benefiting—and Lena is still benefitting from plenty of pretty damning things that her family did.
It would be one thing if like. Lillian and Lex and Lionel were just straight up murderers and she was suffering by guilty by association, and therefore didn’t actually derive anything from that, but she benefits from the profits made by their anti-alien technology—she’s not a self-made person suffering from mere stigma. She wants to be better than her family, and I genuinely do think she is better! But this is about how she can grow!
Lena is a billionaire and that has implications, but I think I’ve only ever read one fic that really explored that? Because if she is a billionaire, and knows that the former head of security is a xenophobic murderer, and she has in her possession several devices that can be used as weapons against humans and aliens alike, as we see with the anti-xray glass, with Kryptonite, with the device she made at the gala, with the Lexo suit, and god possibly the most dangerous and most innocuous looking one of all, the alien detection device (a device that outs you to any business or place of employment or residence or friend that requires you to take it, while also selling something meant to conceal your identity as an alien as well? Not great moral optics there). The actions of her family are not her fault, but the subsequent actions she takes are her responsibility.
Now, someone was going to take over LuthorCorp, and I do agree that it is better Lena, who does genuinely care about being a good person, than one of Lillian or Lex’s cronies. Bad shit could have happened. You can’t just get rid of a multibillion corporation overnight either without very bad consequences—jobs lost, stock market in tatters, etc etc. But, Lena’s still a billionaire. Funding this out of her own pocket if she absolutely had to—and she probably wouldn’t, since bad security looks really bad to the public and clients and the board would not want to have inventions and prototypes stolen.
Lena’s a billionaire. Let’s explore that.
This is a corporation. A corporation is, despite Citizens United (fuck that ruling), not a person. The first security breach wouldn’t be her fault, or even maybe the second, but consider that Metallo was able to steal Kryptonite, Lillian’s goons were able to throw her off the balcony in their attempts to get the information they wanted, and now this with Mercy—a pattern is being established.
Yeah, Lena, you may not use it against Supergirl but that is irrelevant if your security is so bad that the xenophobic people who would use it against Supergirl can easily enough break in and steal weapons. If it can’t be kept safe from the people who would use them to cause egregious harm, then it shouldn’t exist!
(this is one of the main arguments for gun control. If you can’t keep a gun securely in your house where other irresponsible people can find it and use it accidentally or on purpose that shouldn’t, then it should not be in your house.) Sure, that may seem unrealistic, and you may be then bringing up examples in your head of people and companies and organizations that don’t do this, but then ask yourself—are they good people? And if your argument is why Lena as the CEO of LCorp can’t do this without risking profits, then again, this ties back into Lena being a billionaire has interesting moral ramifications and they should be explored.
And yes, I am including the DEO in this answer. So many times I see oh what Lena does vs what the DEO does, especially regarding Kryptonite but they can both be wrong.
Sure, you may be saying she can’t guarantee that—well if that’s the case then do not make any life ending weapons. Lena is not a starving scientist type with a gun to her head; Lena Luthor has billions of dollars. She can completely afford to redo her security, and as long as others will be harmed if she does not then she has an obligation to do so.
The DEO is also her employer and a government agency who’s also tortured her aunt—they don’t have any obligation to listen to Kara, and she probably thinks she’ll be ignored. Lena is her friend, who’s life she’s saved several times—persuading your friend vs. persuading the US government? Yeah, I would go with trying to change the mind of the friend.
The DEO is a black ops government program started about 14 years ago originally headed by a very xenophobic man who hunted down not just Fort Rozz aliens but also J’onn and probably countless other innocents and is the reason why Alex grew up without a father. The only reason why J’onn took over is because he had to, and even still had to play the part of Hank Henshaw, a known xenophobe. Also, for a government organization, 14 years isn’t all that long to be working there—there are definitely people who have been a part of the DEO since the beginning still working for that organization, especially since it is nationwide, possibly even worldwide considering Alex in the first ep was on her way to Geneva. Shit happened at the DEO. (To quote James from season 1, the DEO is “a secret Guantanamo, and it’s not just for aliens anymore.” They torture aliens, hold them without parole, without trial, without a lawyer, definitely not complying with Geneva standards for holding and for bringing them in. What part of the DEO is not Guantanamo?)
And these are the people who recruited Kara’s sister and shot her out of the sky and are trained to take her down and tortured her aunt in front of her as Kara begged them for mercy. I wonder why she didn’t protest too much oh yeah IT’S BECAUSE KARA HAS VERY LITTLE INFLUENCE WITH ACTUAL DEO POLICY BEYOND WHAT SHE CAN CONVINCE J’ONN AND ALEX OF. AND GENERAL LANE CAN AND HAS TAKEN OVER WHEN HE WANTS.
The DEO has always been bad. It’s just been less bad with J’onn and Alex at the helm. But anyway. Back to the main point
Do you know how many times I’ve seen on this website “eat the rich”—and I am not at all saying you can’t like Lena because she is a billionaire. This is a fictional show. It is not real life. But it should be talked about.
With CatCo, they had one security breach, and it turned out to be an internal one. The consequences of that were on the shoulders of Cat Grant alone, and she was fully willing to pay the consequences herself and the only reason why she didn’t step down from CatCo is the last-minute save from Kara and friends. CatCo is a media empire built from the ground up by Cat herself, who’s talked about the consequences of her actions shaping her future direction—she thinks about the actress with the abusive husband every day, knowing that it wasn’t her fault but it was her responsibility as a reporter to say what she saw—and she didn’t. Inaction in itself has consequences.
They’re both willing to face the consequences of their actions–but Cat is the one who is a well known Democrat, who left her multi million dollar company to pursue public service, the whole: “ that’s why we do what we do. That’s why we’re driven to tell the truth. Not only because we want to be good journalists, but because we also want to be good people” and yes with Kara’s help, trying to elevate the conversation, valuing loyalty and integrity beyond just what it could potentially bring to CatCo (that video of Supergirl letting that Fort Rozz escapee go could have brought so much traffic to CatCo, but that wasn’t the point. Compare with the alien IDer. And. Well. We’re getting to the pretty damn grey area).
Cat is willing to do things that are for the benefit of National City and potentially the world at the expense of her company. That isn’t the case with Lena. Lena wants to be a good person! She does! But her motivations for being a good scientist haven’t, even as a kid, been “I am doing this directly because I want to be a good person”—we have seen time and time again that Lena’s main priority is LCorp, and doing what is in the best interest of her company. I am not going to stop harping on the alien identification device because it is horrific and this is something Lena, not her family but Lena, has done in an attempt to increase LCorp’s bottom line.
I am not at all saying Cat is perfect and without flaws and Lena is not, since I just finished detailing one of Cat’s past mistakes (and I’m not going on to detail Cat’s flaws and mistakes, which I have done in the past, because this is about Lena and I’ve counted this now--it’s a total of 2.1k and I’m tired) but when shit happens at CatCo it’s usually something that only affects Cat and her employees, or something unexpected—like really, having one of your employees spontaneously develop superpowers? Unexpected. You really can’t get security for that shit—and there are very few cyber security breaches (Winn is brilliant, but he’s also just one person. There are plenty of people L Corp could hire to deal with cyber security issue, and they have one if they were able to be hacked from the Cloud—and that hacking was human, predictable, and preventable.
I really did appreciate the single Lena/Kara scene past episode, because I keep seeing as well “oh but the DEO has Kryptonite and that’s fine”—clearly, as we saw this past episode, it is very much not fine that the DEO had Kryptonite since Kara almost d i e d. Lena very well have been asking herself this question—and we see this episode that for Kara it is equally bad. This is not a witch hunt because her last name is Luthor but as we see this episode there are very bad things that can happen when people can steal Kryptonite. Kara is the only one who suffers. Katie’s acting choices were great—she was genuinely shaken and concerned as she sees the scenario that Supergirl was most afraid of happening concerning Kryptonite happen—and happen only to her. Everyone else was fine—but Kara lay seizing in the hospital bed from the device that she created (although let me be clear—this one is completely on the DEO. They were the ones who were supposed to be guarding the device, they were the ones with the stolen Kryptonite that was entered into the atmosphere, it was their agent and their security breach that caused this, they were the ones who took responsibility for the device—and dropped the ball).
Lena sees Supergirl on a hospital bed, and hell if she didn’t realize Supergirl was Kara before Lena almost definitely did, staring as she watched the person she loved more than anyone else in the world fade away before her eyes and this is what she was talking about before. This is what she was worried about—it’s an understandable fear. They took the Kryptonite from the DEO, but if they didn’t get a mole, would they have turned to L Corp? Would they try to break in, and succeed?
Would this be because of her? She wouldn’t have deployed the weapon the used herself but she would have created everything they used to do it. Kryptonite isn’t used for anything except as a weapon. This isn’t about Lena “going evil,” or becoming like her family. This is about how just because Lena is willing to be the one who pays the price for her actions and the risks that she takes doesn’t mean that someone else wont.
Tl;dr the 2.1k word monstrosity: Lena is not her family and she isnt evil but oh my god shes the CEO of a multibillion dollar company that makes weapons and still benefits from the actions of her family, and who's main priority has always been her company. Shes not just a perfect ideal who can do no wrong or cant improve--shes done a lot of good but just look at the alien detection device--shes done a lot of wrong too.
