And why is she automatically the specialist person in the world???? I get part of your point --

but Aphmau was ALWAYS the specialest girl in the room? i think a lot of people forget bc it was dropped after a while, but in the earlier episodes, there was a divide between 'players' and 'villagers' which only began to lessen as the villagers became more 'aware', and Aphmau the persona became Aphmau the Character.

But even in early episodes, other characters noticed she was a little funky, especially those who were introduced already aware (mostly sasha and gene, from what i've noticed). And it's implied that players are specifically targeted (Malik is implied to be a player, was murdered, and sasha talks about Aphmau slipping under 'the king's radar') which is later shifted into the Irene-bloodline thing for lore.

And this isn't aimed at you so much as it is aimed in general, but i think a lot of people forget that Aphmau was always... unique. Every character that had actual dialogue in early MCD was unique. Garroth, Vylad, Gene, Sasha and Zenix are also all considered special little princesses. And there are multiple conversations about how she needs to stop having an impact because she's changing things too much, and that gets the wrong sort of attention.

But, back onto the rest of your point, Aphmau having skills is important to me. I don't like the Born Sexy Yesterday trope, it kills me inside, and Rebirth had such a good opportunity to do ANYTHING ELSE with it... but no.

Like, i am all for 'culturally clueless' aph, like... have her know basic skills, but when it comes to social standards and such, she's a little bit of a ditz. Sort of like if you go to a foreign country with no concept of what the culture is like beforehand, only to find out its wildly different to your own. But not like a baby...

Have her be a little too much of a prude-- or not enough. Have her try to pay for things with items that aren't currency to *you*. have her partake in silly little superstitions. don't have her be naked, and have boob jokes made about her and have her not... know words...

because i haven't watched rebirth in a while, but i remember her being a little bit... like... weird about words... and just... Stupid.. and like... no... lets not do the Sexy Baby thing please...
