₊✩‧₊ ⎯ Decorating Sakura’s Room 『 ♡ sakura haruka x reader 』
content // after seeing sakura's empty room for the first time, you're determined to make him feel more at home with a few additions.
note // tumblr decided not to post this yesterday for softie sunday lol so here it is!
Sakura's always deterred you from coming back to his place for your date nights, avoiding the topic altogether by offering to meet up at Pothos or to watch movies at your place instead. For the first month or so of dating, you didn't question it much, but now? It's getting suspicious. What did he have to hide from you?
"C'mon, we always go to my apartment. Why do you never have me over?"
Your demand has Sakura sweating, unable to come up with a logical excuse to keep you away any longer. He knows damn well that you can see right through his lies...and he has a terrible poker face around you.
"Fine, but don't expect much," he mutters, stomping passed you and continuing down the street. When you approach his front door, he takes a deep breath before twisting the handle.
"Do you not lock your door?!" You exclaim, noticing he didn't have a set of keys on him. "Saku, that's dangerous as hell!"
"S'not a big deal," he mumbles before kicking his shoes off into the corner, completely ignoring the shoe rack behind the door. "Don't have anythin' to steal, anyways."
You're confused by his words until you get a decent look at the apartment. It's...bare. Not a single decorative item in sight.
"Did you just move into this place?" you ask, confused. You're slowly making your way back to his bedroom, awestruck by the lack of evidence that anyone lives here.
"Nah, been here since I got to Makochi."
You turn to face him, a sad glint in your eyes before shaking your head. It makes him swallow nervously, the tips of his ears warming by the second. You don't say another word about it for the rest of the day.
A couple days pass until the two of you have plans again. You insist to meet at Sakura's place, and after lots of begging, he begrudgingly agrees. When you finally arrive to his place, you can barely knock on the door with how full your hands are with numerous bags of gifts. He opens the door as your mid-swing with your foot to "knock," immediately overwhelmed by the amount of stuff on your person.
"Th' hell is all this?!" Sakura shouts while attempting to grab a few of the bags from your hands. "Yer like a walkin' target with all this! Get in here already!"
"Sorry, Saku. I couldn't help it."
Sakura places the bags on the floor, slowly peaking through them to investigate just what the hell you've unloaded into his space. There are tons of essential items in neutral tones - a few sets of towels, a bath mat, two pillows and silk cases, a 4 set of plates and bowls, silverware, a pair of black house slippers, a brand new reusable water bottle, a water filter for the fridge, and a picture frame.
"I might've went a little overboard," you say sheepishly, tucking a piece of hair behind your ear. "I felt bad you didn't have anything to make your home feel like your own. So I got you some things to warm it up, make it feel more permanent and a place you like, not just one you sleep in."
Sakura's speechless - devastated, even. He can't comprehend what he did to deserve your sweetness, biting his lip to keep his emotions caged. His cheeks are ablaze as he picks up the picture frame, noticing the plastic film is missing and there's a familiar set of pictures behind the glass.
"I went ahead and put in the pictures we took at the photo booth from the theater on our first date, you don't need to keep⎯ "
Your silenced by Sakura's lips capturing yours, his shaky hands cradling your face. Your squeak of surprise makes his heart skip a beat.
"Thank you," he whispers as you part, moving to wrap you up in a tight hug. "Yer...always so warm, like bein' under the sun on a hot day. I'm still getting used to that feelin', but this helps more than you know."
Your heart swells as you lay your head on his shoulder, absorbing all of his affection in the moment.
"Of course, Sakura. You deserve to be happy and feel like you belong."
His grip tightens on your shirt, a shiver running down his spine at your words. One day, he'll be able to tell you how you've made him feel at home for awhile now, and that the material possession are a nonfactor.
You pull back from his hug and pat him on the shoulders. "I'll help you put everything away and whatnot."
The two of you spend the next hour unpacking all of the goodies you've bought, leaving the picture frame for last. Sakura grabs the frame and paces the apartment a few times, pondering where exactly he wants to put it until the perfect spot pops into his mind.
Right above the shoe rack so you can welcome him home every single day with your bright smile.

Cherry, Cherry 🍒 Chapter 7 🍒
"Swimming in Stars"
pre-outbreak! AU!Joel Miller x f!Reader
Word count: 2,256
Summary: you and Joel enjoy a little one-on-one time in the pool and discuss your concerns about your first time together..
WARNINGS: 18+ Only! Mature and Explicit, age gap (reader is 18, Joel is 35), slow burn, talk of sex and expectations regarding reader's first time, talk of using protection (a must, y'all!), dry humping, reader's race not mentioned, reader wears a swimsuit, story takes place in summer 2003, no use of y/n
Author's Note: this chapter is super significant to me as it highlights just how important communication is when it's going to be a couple's first time together, and especially when there's an age gap.
Series Masterlist
Joel has one rule: that you take your time. He doesn't want to rush you or make you feel like he won't wait for you because honestly, as he tells you before you go your separate ways that same summer night, "You're worth waitin' for."
Naturally it's impossible for you to sleep that night. So much has happened in just a couple of weeks. It seems that the moment you've stepped outside of the safety of the environment you've known your whole life, you're seeing exactly what opportunities await you.
And you really want this opportunity with Joel.
Now the ball is entirely in your court. You call the shots. And you don't even know where to begin except you know you want to spend more time with him. You like Joel a lot, and you want to get to know him better.
You spend the rest of the weekend with your cousin before she leaves for an international flight. Truth is, you haven't spent much time together, and it's nice to get out of the house with her to go to the mall and the movies. But every other thought is about Joel. What's he doing right now? Is he thinking of you?
Your attention is easily diverted from the latest Fast and Furious movie, and when Sofia goes for a quick restroom break you pull out your phone and text Joel: Pool party tonight. Just us. 10 pm.
Putting your phone back in your purse your heart pulsates with excitement at the riskiness of the text. You're not that bold, but somehow he makes you so.
You let the rest of the movie distract you, but truth be told you can't remember the rest of it even five minutes after leaving the theater. It's not until you're back home that you see he's replied: I'll be there, sweetheart
Sofia leaves that evening, and you are alone. You get ready, wearing the same swimsuit as last time, knowing Joel liked you in it before. You don't know what to expect of the evening, because quite honestly you invited him over on a whim. 10 o'clock comes around a lot sooner than you think, and so you lounge out on a lounge chair float, watching the stars, trying to still the rapid beating of your heart.
You hear a knock at the side gate and then a hesitant swinging open of the gate door.
"You gonna join me?" you ask. You see Joel out of the corner of your eye and smirk. "Or are you just gonna stare?"
You hear the low rumble of his chuckle and it makes your heart melt. "I'm a visual guy. I like watchin' you like that. You look so damn pretty. I just about ran every red light all the way from Tommy's place just to get here to you."
Heat colors your skin. "And Sarah? Where's she?"
"At a friend's house."
That fact seems to hang in the air between you. Now you're alone together, the discussion from yesterday seems to be the elephant in the room, so to speak.
"So you're gonna watch?" you break the silence. "Or are you gonna join me?"
He takes a seat on one of the lounge chairs, a playful little smile on his lips. He looks so relaxed, so at ease in your company. "I didn't bring anything to swim in."
"You've got boxers on, right?"
"Maybe."
You chuckle, seeing that he's trying to be hard to read. You climb out of the pool and wrap a towel around your midsection, joining him on the lounge chair, in his lap. Your heart is beating like a bird trapped in a cage but it's so thrilling to finally be alone with him. He sits up and holds you, strong arms wrapping around you. In this moment you're both quiet, enjoying this tender moment. He presses a soft kiss to your temple, fingertips tracing your arms and your sides. When you kiss him it's soft and sweet, almost innocent, the tips of your tongues barely meeting.
"That night at our pool party," you tell him in an intimate whisper, "we were playing in the pool and when we hugged, I felt.. you know."
Joel slows his touch but doesn't stop. "I remember."
"Was that.. because of me?"
He gives a sarcastic little snort. "Sweetheart, your thighs were practically locked around my head. My thoughts of you were indecent. So yeah I was rock hard."
You shiver and he grabs you tighter. "That night, after I walked you home, I touched myself. I fantasized about you." It feels good to say it now, now that it's not a deep and terrible secret.
"Oh god, sweetheart. I did the same."
Every single drop of water in the pool cannot possibly douse the fire you feel in your veins for this man.
"What did you fantasize about me that night?" His breath is warm on your cheek.
"I fantasized about what you would feel like.. inside me."
A low growl escapes his throat. "You still want that from me? Want me inside?"
"Yes," you reply, even as a flurry of turmoil grows in your belly. "Soon," you reiterate.
This seems to calm him, as his breathing evens out, his gentle touch returns. "Might I ask one little favor, sweetheart?" His voice is tinged with honey. "Would you give me a little massage?"
Smiling, you brazenly straddle his lap, gently kneading his shoulders. You love the feel of his skin beneath your touch, and you marvel at how soft yet how strong he is capable of being. "You need someone to do this for you every day.."
And beneath you, you feel his desire stirring. Just a few light layers of clothing separate you. "If there were two of you, then yeah, I'd want this every day."
You laugh. "That's kinky. Why two of me? Are you saying I'm not enough on my own?" There's a teasing note in your voice.
"One of you to give me a massage and the other to make me a sandwich." He laughs as he ducks your playful whack. "What I meant to say is that with two of you.. there's more to admire?"
Nerves afire with your lively banter, you gently push your hips down on his. "Think of all the things you could do with two of me.."
His hands grip your hips firmly, squeezing. "Oh my damn god, sweetheart.. I want you so damn much," he growls.
"Then have me, Joel," you say, so easily, as if switching on a light. Your mind is clouded with lust, and every move you make is based purely on instinct rather than emotion. "You won't hurt me, will you?"
Joel sighs, his eyes soft even as he's hard other places. "Hell no. I'm gonna be so damn gentle with you."
You bite your lip, scooting off him a little to undo his belt but he gently stops you. "I need you to wait," he says.
You freeze. "What's wrong?"
"Sweetheart, you want it too fast. I'm going to give you what you want, but not like this." Frustrated, he buries his face in your neck. "God damn it I just wanna do the right thing by you."
"I guess there are a lot of specifics to work out," you murmur gently, caressing the nape of his neck.
"Such as?" he cuddles into your neck.
You feel a little embarrassed, but if you're going to eventually sleep with him you have to be able to be honest with him. "We have to think of where to do it, whether we should have a date beforehand to lead up to it. And I'm not on birth control, so we'd have to consider protection."
His hand caresses the small of your back. "We could do it at either your place or mine, and I like the idea of having a nice little romantic date beforehand." He gently traces the curve of your face with his fingertips. "I want you to feel safe with me, sweetheart. I'll get some condoms. Hell, we'll probably go through a whole box real quick."
You give a sigh of relief. "I like that we're talking about this, Joel. I don't want to go into this blind."
"I'm gonna be here for you every step of the way, even if you decide you don't want to go through with it," he swears. Looking away a moment he seems to collect himself. "I just don't want to hurt you."
"What do you mean? How would you hurt me?" you gently turn his face to look at you.
He sighs. "I don't want to be too much for you, too intense for you, especially when you've never had anyone else before. You don't know just how fuckin' bad I desire you."
"Joel.. when the time comes for us to be together, I'm going to trust you not to hurt me, not on purpose. I've heard the first time can hurt anyway, but that kind of pain will be worth it, to be with you."
He whispers your name and kisses you, stiffening when you pursue it with more passion, pressing yourself against him.
"I'm sorry," you whisper. "You're right. I want everything right now, but I'm not thinking. Oh god, I need a distraction," you whine. "A cold shower or something."
"A shower's out of the question just now, but I have the next best thing to cool you off," Joel chuckles and picks you up, carrying you bridal style over to the pool and it's only at the last second that you realize what he's about to do and you screech as he drops you into the water.
You surface, sputtering and wiping the water from your face. "What the hell?" Joel's gleeful chuckle sounds in your ears right before he splashes in beside you. He grabs you by the waist, both of you weightless in the water. He's rid himself of his clothes except for his boxer briefs.
"Come here," he says, kissing your lips. "You're one hell of a girl.."
He's easily forgiven. If anything you love that you've brought out this mischievous side of him. "And you're one hell of a man.." you wrap your arms around him, whispering in his ear. "And you let your guard down too easily," you tell him, pouncing on him and pushing him underwater before swimming away, laughing as you swim away.
He comes up and swims right after you, making you squeal. "You shouldn't have gotten in the pool if you didn't want to get wet." you warn him.
"Shouldn't have invited me over if ya didn't want me to get you wet," he quips, pressing you against the side of the pool where you're both semi-shrouded in darkness. "God, sweetheart, you do not know what you do to a man."
"What about what you're doing to me?" Pressed close together you feel his hardness, and now that it's just the two of you you're free to explore this, to feel the rigidity of his desire for you. "Joel.. please just rub up against me.." you ask.
This elicits another growl from him, and even in the darkness you can see the hunger in his eyes. He does as you ask, albeit gently at first, testing to see how much you want.
You gasp as you feel him, thinly veiled by the wet confines of your swim clothes. He knows exactly where you need his touch, and it's like a shock of electricity to feel that pressure on your clit. "Feels good.. right there," you whisper, clinging to him.
He kisses you deeply, pressing a bit harder, smiling when your breath hitches and becomes quicker. "You like this, sweetheart? Oh this ain't nothin' compared to the real thing."
"Joel," you whimper. "Keep going like this.. please.."
The water splashes around you as you try to keep your cries to a minimum. How can only touching feel so good? How many nerve endings can you possibly stimulate? It's as if you've never really known what your body can do, what it can become under someone else's touch.
Touching.. that's all it is. But it's enough to drive you to the edge. There's that familiar feeling, like when you're on a roller coaster and your heart leaps into your throat just before you take the first sharp dive. "Joel!" you moan, kissing him to muffle your sounds as you come: a quick, sweet shot of lightning in your veins.
As your body relaxes, Joel backs off so as not to overstimulate you, but keeps his arm around you, stroking your damp hair.
"Sorry if I was selfish," you mumble.
He laughs and puts his hand on your cheek. "You're not selfish at all. We both wanted it. And sweetheart, you look fuckin' angelic when you come." His voice is husky and sweet as he nuzzles his nose against your cheek.
You're still reeling from this experience, and in the aftermath of your orgasm you have clarity of mind, as if all your troubles have melted away. You know you'll be grateful to Joel forever. "What about you? You didn't even.."
He smiles. "Don't worry about me. You're more important."
"Are you gonna.. take care of it later?" you smirk.
"One of these days I hope you'll feel comfortable takin' care of me yourself," he smirks, making your heart do a flip flop, and you pull him closer before the night comes to an end.

❧Their ideal date
So…it’s been a while !! My bad everyone 😔 good news? Requests are now up and running again!! It’s also my first time attempting to write for Jjk, so take this with that in mind
Thank you for bearing with me, but CandyK0rn is up and running once again!!
Warnings: None!
Included: Megumi Fushiguro, Itadori Yuuji, Kugisaki Nobara (separate.)
I. Yuuji:
You already know what time it is
Movie dates ALL the way
I wouldn’t say it would be a theater date, because just chilling at home (more specifically, in his dorm) sounds like such an upgrade from a stuffy movie theater
Though, he likes the popcorn better
If you dose off even a bit expect a flick on the forehead
Especially if it’s one of his favorites, or even a newer movie released to DVD neither of you have seen
Speaking of DVD, he prefers it over streaming any day
I’d say he even has his own collection
After having to sit through countless hours of movies for his training, there were some that stuck out to him that he’d wanna rewatch with you
He is the literal WORST when it comes to spoilers though
“That’s foreshadowing for the end! I won’t tell you how it ends, of course.”
…
“..Unless you wanna know?!”
His favorites tend to be action or horror
And if you tend to get squeamish with horror, well you just have the perfect shining knight in armor to help out, huh?
Even if you like horror, it wouldn’t hurt to stroke his ego a bit
Totally cuddles during the entire watch
It’s just a chaotic pile of you, him, snacks and blankets
Expect him to play with your hair if you’re laying on top of him, he just cannot help himself
Definitely not a fancy date by any means, but it’s these nights that he remembers most <3
K.Nobara:
Dear lord
Going out with this woman is a JOURNEY
Because shopping dates are her thing, especially if you spoil her with money from your pocket.
But it’s not just the ‘date’ itself, it’s the before and after of it all
Expect her to go through her entire makeup and attire routine alongside you, if that’s not your thing? You’re sure as hell watching.
She’ll talk your ear off as she does it too
“Oh! This is that new lipgloss I was telling you about..some influencer was using it. Isn’t it the perfect shade?!”
She doesn’t exactly say it, but she’s happy even if you just listen to her
It’s what makes her happy, and to have someone listen to her ramble on is a gift in itself
Then there’s the during, where you not only go to the local clothing, cosmetic and jewelry shops
But you have to try the snacks around these places!
She’s still getting used to Tokyo, and there’s just so many new things to try.
Oh! But you have to wait to eat it, because she has to take a picture of it first
Then you can dig in.
And of course, there’s the ‘after’
She likes just sitting down and unloading everything she bought, going through each item and talking about how excited she is about it
If you got new clothes, she expects a fashion show equal to that of vogue.
She cheers you on and takes pictures of you the entire time
With the flash on, of course.
It adds to the ‘paparazzi fantasy’ as she calls it.
F. Megumi:
Like Yuuji, he much prefers to stay inside just in the comfort of your dorm/home
But he knows that also gets repetitive, so he tries to take extra steps once in a while
His dates are simple,
Dinners, walks around the city, even training with you is something he enjoys
But there has to be a specific time for them
He likes taking you out to eat right after missions, like a way to calm down the stress everyone’s been feeling
He texts Yuuji for the best places nearby, because usually he grabs something quick from the Seven Eleven and calls it a night
Itadori: There’s a sweet katsu place I ate at yesterday
Gumi: that’ll be good. thanks again.
Itadori: Yk I’m the best wingman around. 😋
Gumi: mhm
And honestly? During the outing, he just likes talking.
It’s not something he’d say he necessarily enjoys
He’s never exactly been a talker
But for some reason he cannot explain, you make him want to just share things
How his day went, something Gojo did that he found annoying…
But more importantly, he likes listening
He likes the sound of your voice, he likes the way you sound when your passionate, he likes the way you sound when your angered or frustrated
God, he just likes you.
He never thought he would ever admit that. But here he is
Enjoying a conversation over tonkatsu with the person he cares for the most.
Thanks for reading!!

monster trucks and a monster crush.
(Based off of this post from the lovely @ebongawk. If I had the spoons, I'd probably flesh this out a bit more, but for right now, it's just a bullet fic.)
The movie comes out in July.
Eddie and Chrissy aren’t dating yet, but they might as well be, seeing how they spend most of their time together.
Chrissy has been trying to figure out Eddie on a real date all summer with no luck, and then she sees an ad for Maximum Overdrive in the paper.
It was perfect – Chrissy doesn’t like horror that much, but she can stomach it for an hour and a half, especially if she got to look at Emilio Estevez in the process, and Eddie loves Stephen King, she’s seen the beaten-up paperbacks on his floor.
They’re on the couch in the trailer. Something’s playing on the TV. Chrissy’s not paying attention.
“Do you wanna go to the movies tomorrow?” she blurts out. "There's a new Emilio Estevez movie.” Eddie makes a face and Chrissy shoves him lightly. “It’s directed by Stephen King.”
“Oh, yeah. Heard something about that. It’s based on one of his short stories. Yeah, that’s cool, let’s do it.”
Chrissy smiles and snuggles back into his side. She feels like she’s floating.
It isn’t until Edde’s driving her back home that it hits her like a brick wall – what if Eddie doesn’t know it’s a date? They go to the movies all the time. He probably thinks it’s no big deal! It’s not! It’s the biggest deal!
She works herself up, her nerves getting the best of her, and when they pull up to her house, she jumps out and twirls around.
“BythewayImeanttomorrowtobeadate." His eyes widen as comprehension dawns and Chrissy has to leave. “Okay, bye!”
She sprints inside her house, leaving a shell-shocked Eddie behind.
(Chrissy doesn’t sleep well that night.)
(Neither does Eddie.)
The next day, Chrissy is ready to renege on the whole thing. They can just be friends. It was a stupid idea anyway, why would Eddie Munson ever date her?
The van pulls up, and as she makes her way over, Eddie pops out of the driver’s side and rushes over to open the passenger side door.
Chrissy stops. He’s wearing a plain black t-shirt under his leather jacket and his jeans don’t have any holes in them. It looks like he even tried to comb his hair.
He’s holding flowers.
Eddie's smile is nervous. “Wayne says it’s always a good idea to bring your girl flowers on a date.”
Chrissy smiles and takes the flowers.
The ride to the theater was normal. They talk about Corroded Coffin’s next gig, about the kids at Chrissy's summer job, and if Wayne would actually go on that fishing trip he’s been talking about for months.
Once he parks, Eddie jumps out of the car and opens the passenger door. “Milady.” Chrissy takes his hand, gets out of the car, and they head toward the theater.
They’re almost to the door when Chrissy stops. Eddie stops, too.
They’re still holding hands.
“If, um…I know that – I know I didn’t let you respond yesterday, so I totally get it if you, um, don’t want it to be a date.”
She tries to pull her hand away, but Eddie tightens his grip.
“I was gathering the courage to do it myself, you know,” he says with a wry smile. “You beat me to the punch.” He kisses the back of her hand. “C’mon. You gotta go drool over Estevez.” Chrissy laughs and lets him lead her towards the theater.
The movie is terrible. Schlocky. Corny. Chrissy’s almost embarrassed for suggesting it, but Eddie’s arm is around her and he’s laughing.
(He loses it after the baseball coach dies by demonic soda cans. The kid getting run over by a steamroller right after didn’t help. Chrissy elbows him and Eddie flashes her a grin. “Kid’s fine, Cunningham. The grass’s soft.”)
The credits roll and Eddie and Chrissy walk out into the lobby; Chrissy hides her face. “I’m sorry!”
Eddie’s face twists in confusion. “Why are you sorry?”
“The movie was so bad! I don’t want our first date to be at a bad movie.”
Eddie takes her hands in his. “I had the time of my life watching that movie with you.”
“Really?”
“Oh, yeah! Watching a batshit-crazy movie about possessed eighteen-wheelers with my girl? Best day ever.”
Chrissy laughs and lifts up on her toes to kiss him. When she pulls back, Eddie grins widely and pulls her back in.
They get chased out of the theater by a miserable college kid in a neon orange vest grumbling about teenage hormones.
(When they make it out to the parking lot, Eddie stops her before she gets in. He lets go of her hand and splays himself against the hood of the van. “Now, Sheila. I know I just said that Chrissy was my girl, but I love you, too, and if you ever get possessed by an alien comet, please, please don’t kill us.”
Chrissy laughs and gets in the passenger seat as Eddie yells dramatically to be careful.
Eddie makes the movie his entire personality for weeks – whenever he sees an eighteen-wheeler, he screams and pulls Chrissy behind him. Sheila breaks down at the entrance to Loch Nora one night and he does his best Wanda June impression: “You can’t do this! WE MADE YOU!”
He takes the younger boys to see it and they join in on the theatrics. Steve and Nancy are ready to pull their hair out, but Chrissy loves it.
When the movie comes out on VHS, Eddie buys it immediately. They watch it every year on their anniversary.)
All in all, not a bad first date.

When you had Tallulah, Wilbur sobbed the first time he held her. He had been so supportive throughout the pregnancy, and he was scared to death the entire time as well, worried that he wouldn’t be a good dad, or that something would happen to you.
So the first time he held your little girl in his arms, he sobbed out of love and happiness, kissing her head and whispering about how he’d never let anyone hurt her or break her heart. You could already tell he was going to be a great father. When she gently wrapped her hand around his finger, he suddenly felt like everything was going to be okay. The world had never seemed so quiet.
He was incredibly attentive after she was born. He was constantly with her, and he took so many photos and videos of her as she grew up. He did have to go on tour eventually, but he would call every day, and he’d look at every photo and video every night to remember what he was coming back to.
When he came back from tour, she’d grown so much.
“My little ‘Lulah,” he cooed, holding her close in his arms, “You need to stop growing, ‘Lulah. Before I know it, I’ll be beating up any person who tries to break your heart.”
You chuckled, leaning into him gently, “I wish she could stay this little forever.”
He smiled, gently kissing her head. She rested her head on his shoulder, babbling sleepily. She was about 15 months old now, and she was such a sweet child already. She had pieces of her father’s wild soul, but she carried more of his quieter traits.
“Here,” he passed her over to you, “Let’s go tuck her in. I wanna play her a song.”
You held her and walked to her bedroom, while Wilbur followed with his guitar strapped along his back. As you set her down, he sat down next to her crib, playing a soft tune on his guitar for her as she fell asleep.
As she grew up, Tallulah continued to be the spitting image of her father. Same mess of curly brown hair, and same big brown eyes. She was sweet and kind, always making sure that her friends were doing okay and wanting to help them. However, the similarities with her father meant she definitely got his sense of teenage angst. She was fourteen, and Wilbur was driving her to the movies with you riding shotgun. She looked nervous.
“‘Lulah? You alright?”
“Yes, I’m fine,” she sighed softly.
“You don’t sound fine,” Wilbur added.
She frowned lightly, “‘M just a bit nervous, dad. I’ll be fine.”
He nodded softly, “Remember your breathing exercises in case, okay?”
“Yes, dad, I know,” she rolled her eyes, “I’m not a child.”
You and Wilbur shared a look, slight amusement on both of your faces.
Wilbur pulled up to the front of the movie theater, and you spoke up, “Be safe, and text us when the movie is over, but wait inside for us, okay?”
“Yes, I will,” she got out of the car quickly, and for a moment, she looked like she was going to slam the door shut.
“Bye, I love you.” She spoke softly.
“Bye, darling. We love you too,” Wilbur responded, and she closed the door softly.
You took Wilbur’s hand as you watched her walk in and meet up with her friends.
“You think she’ll be safe?”
“She’s your daughter, Wilbur. I don’t think we have to worry about if she’ll be safe, we should worry about if she’ll talk someone’s ear off.”
He laughed, kissing your hand gently, “God, I hate that she’s growing up. It feels like just yesterday she was just tiny.”
“I know,” you sighed softly, “I wish I could protect her from everything.”
“Me too,” he started to drive away, keeping his hand in yours, “We’ll be there for it all, though. We can’t protect her, but we can help her.”
“Is this your ploy to get her into music?”
“It’s not entirely a ploy,” you both laughed, swiftly heading back home.
“Dad, let me carry it, it’s fine,” Tallulah groaned, reaching for a box Wilbur was holding.
“I’ve got it, ‘Lulah. Don’t worry about a thing,” he smiled, carrying the box up to her apartment. Her first apartment. Neither of you were coping well with the thought, but she was only a two and a half hour drive away. You were so incredibly proud of her. She did follow in her father’s footsteps, but she learned every instrument she could find. Her hard work paid off, granting her a full-ride music scholarship. She also decided to minor in English as well, and it was weird to see your daughter so adult, even if she was just on the verge of 19.
You’d taken great care to helping her move in, making sure the place felt like home. Mostly by sneaking in little notes from you and Wilbur into every crevice you could find, to be discovered later. It was so odd, to see her in her own place now. Wilbur was setting up her internet while she made sure all of her instruments were in their proper place (she always had a thing about making sure everything had its own specific place). Before you left, you placed a scrapbook next to her bed, filled with some of the photos of her, you, and Wilbur.
Leaving her and driving back home was messy. You and Wilbur both cried, and you caught a glimpse of her tearing up as well before you started on back home. It was so tough to leave her, even if you’d been watching her grow up and preparing for this for years. It was just hard to see her go off. The car ride home was quiet as well, his hand in yours as you wiped at teary eyes.
Late that night, you and Wilbur were lying in bed, just holding each other close. “She seemed so happy to leave. Do you think she’ll miss us?” You asked softly.
“I think so.” “Really? I just remember how happy I was to finally be away from my parents.” “Well, your parents weren’t exactly the kindest.” He noted.
“I know, but I mean, it’s the freedom and feeling grown up, right? I’m worried we’ll lose her for a bit.” “I don’t-” his reply was cut off by his phone going off. He grabbed it, smiling softly. “I don’t think we’ll have anything to worry about,” he turned the phone towards you, showing off Tallulah’s contact proudly.
He answered the call, and you both spoke to her as she got settled into bed for her first night alone, and you could hear just how much she missed you both in her voice.

SUPRISE
WARNINGS: None
I feel my nerves ise as the usos music hits and I walk out with them.
“Coming to the ring accompanied by award-winning special effects artist Y/n L/n, the Usos.” The announcer rambles off. The crowd cheers as we make our way down the ramp into the ring. Mics are quickly handed out.
“I know you guys were expecting for me and Jimmy to come out and cut the promo for our upcoming match. But tonight is different.”
“Very different.” Jimmy adds.
“Yes. Tonight’s special. You see, on top of being a special effects artist this tattooed and pierced grizzly bear is the man that’s captured our younger brother’s heart and tonight he’s going to finally propose to him and officially become a part of the family.”
“I know, finally, after all these years. It’s been too long in the making.” I silently laugh at Jimmy. It’s true it’s been a long time in the making.
“Agree 100% and right now we got Sami bringing him out here.” The big monitor changes to a view of a camera backstage. Sami walks into the locker room happily with the blindfold in hand.
“Uce, I got a surprise for you.”
“I hate surprises.”
“You like this one, I promise. Just put this blindfold on.” Sami says holding the blind fold out to him. Solo looks at it, then backs up at Sami, contemplating it.
“Come on Uce.”
“Fine.” He grumbles, putting the blindfold on.
“Alright, I just gonna lead you a way to your surprise.”
“This better not be a trap.”
“I wouldn’t do that to you, Uce.” And it’s true from what I’ve seen and heard Sami’s real nice. We watch the monitor as Sami guides him through backstage, almost running him in to a couple of things, but ultimately it’s Sami that runs into Roman.
“Hey Roman.”
“Why is Solo blind folded?”
“I got to take him to his surprise.”
“Mmm I’ll help. Don’t need you battering up my number 2 on the way.” Roman then helps Sami guide Solo out to the ring without almost running into everything. They guide Solo up the steps of the ring and help him in. They guide him to the middle of the ring and I get down on one knee and pull out the ring. Jimmy hands me his microphone as Jey hands his to Sami.
“You can take off the blindfold, Uce.” Solo reaches back and unties it. It falling to the ground completely upon seeming me down on one knee. I see his eyes visibly soften and my heart begins to warm.
“Solo Sikoa, you have made me the happiest man in the world. You’ve been with me through thick and thin. You supported me and stood up for me. I remember the day I met you like it was yesterday. It was the first day of 9th grade. I was sitting at the back of the class. Everyone was too scared to approach me because of the piercing and dark clothes. But not you. You came up to me and introduced yourself with such confidence. I appreciated that. And then you sat with me at lunch when no else would and asked me what I liked. You didn’t shy away from me just because I enjoyed the macabre. You embraced it. You embraced me.
I remember the first time you stuck your neck out for me. I remember the first fight you got into because someone was talking shit about me. I remember cleaning your bloody knuckles like how I did to mine so many times. I remember taking you home and your mom freaking out about you getting into a fight. I remember the talk your father gave me on the way out. Telling me to stay away from you because I was in trouble. And to be fair, I was and still am trouble. I remember how you disregarded your parents and still hung out with me despite everything.
I remember feeling so lucky. I still do feel lucky that I have you. You have been my rock for day one. And I remember the first time I asked you out. I remember the drive-in the movie theater we went to and what movie was playing. And I remember what we both got at that dinner we went to after. I remember kissing you for the first time that night. I remember the fireworks that went off in my stomach that still manage to be just as potent now as they were then. I remember the first time you introduced me as your boyfriend and how your mother practically fainted. I also remember your father telling me to get my shit together and figure out what I was going to do after we graduated and if I didn’t, I wouldn’t be allowed to see you. I’m glad he did that because that was part of the reason I decided to pursue special effects. I also was madly in love with you and couldn’t think of life without you and I still feel that way. So I buckled down and started to pursue special effects. I wanted to prove myself to you and your family. I wanted them to see that I would take care of you. That I was the man for you. And all my hard worked payed off and I remember getting my first job as an assistant to Greg Nicotero. I remember how proud you were of me. And I remember how excited you were when I landed my first job as a lead special effects artist.
I remember so many things. And I’ll continue to remember these memories and more until I’m old and grey. And I hope I can remember this moment for years to come. So Joseph Yokozuna Fatu, will you continue you to make me the happiest man and marry me?” He just nods, wiping his tears away with his right hand. I place the microphone down and I grab his left hand and slide the ring on to it. The crowd goes crazy as I stand up and kiss him. I smile into the kiss as the others set off confetti poppers. Pulling away, I look down at him, wiping away the excess tears.
“I love you with all my being.” I say.
“I love you too.”

HELLO, EVERYONE! I SAW THE BTTF MUSICAL YESTERDAY, AND AM READY TO POST SOME (SEMI) COHERENT THOUGHTS!
[Fair warning that some things here may spoil parts of the show.]
• First things first: It was so good. It was so, so, very good. Incredible show. I'd been hearing great things about the show since it first came out in London, and I've been listening to the music since it dropped, so I pretty much went in knowing I'd like it but it still managed to be even better than I thought.
• Just the setup of the theater itself and the ambiance prior to it starting was so cool. The way everything is lit blue and there's all the electrical zapping and humming. THE CONSTANT TICKING OF CLOCKS THAT FILLED THE THEATER. Nothing had even happened yet, and I was like, "This is such a good show."
• My one big cause for hesitation was Casey playing Marty. I know absolutely nothing about the guy, but Marty is just so dear to my heart, and MJF's energy and physicality isn't something easily captured. I had my doubts about seeing someone try to bring Marty to Broadway, but Casey walked onto the stage, called out, "Doc?" and I went, "Yeah, okay. There's Marty."
• For real, though, Casey was phenomenal as Marty. He had the vocal inflection down. The right amount of crackliness. Very good balance of cool kid and disoriented mess.
• Um. HUGH COLES?!? Talk about brilliant casting. I mean it when I say that he somehow seemed more George than George from the movie. The audience reacted with a sense of awe when he started speaking and moving around the stage. It was like Crispin Glover had been plucked straight from the film and injected with More Georgeness. When he did the laugh, the audience went nuts. His physical acting and the way he captured George's gestures perfectly was amazing to watch.
• As I'd expected, Musical Doc is ten times more chaotic and unhinged than Movie Doc. Roger Bart's comedic timing is impeccable. He earned himself frequent howling laughter from the audience from the moment he appeared on stage.
• His "Good thing I kept this radiation suit from my Manhattan Project days" line was a nice touch.
• "Despite my fear of heights, I was standing on my toilet," was such a gem of a line.
• THE DELOREAN. WE NEED TO TALK ABOUT THE DELOREAN. I had no idea how they were going to depict a car speeding to 88mph on a small stage, but THEY DID IT. Astounding. Honestly might be the coolest effects I've ever seen done on a stage. Also, I wasn't sure how I'd feel about the addition of it being voice-activated and talking, but it worked nicely!
• The musical obviously had to trim some parts of the movie—and even omit parts entirely—but it was done so well that you either didn't even notice or miss they were gone. The change from George being hit by a car to simply falling out of the tree was one of these changes. (Marty's under the tree trying to catch him, btw, which is how he ends up getting knocked out)
• I couldn't tell if this was an ad-lib from Casey, but when he was trying to get his pants back on in the Baines house scene, he started struggling a bit with the tangled suspenders that were wrapped around one of the legs of the jeans and muttered in frustration, "Why do I wear suspenders??" Very funny little moment.
• Great chemistry between Bart and Casey. The connection between Doc and Marty was THERE. The musical GOT IT RIGHT. So many hilarious moments between them in the form of completely unintelligible banter, where they're just talking over each other and having like...verbal tennis matches of nonsense. It's hard to describe in writing, but trust me, it was so good. It went something like this:
Doc: "Marty!"
Marty: "Doc!"
Both Simultaneously: *literal gibberish*
• There's a beautiful little addition to the scene when Marty shows up at Doc's house in 1955 and tries to convince him he's from the future. After Doc asks him to take him to this supposed "time machine" Marty goes, "Sure, hang on, I just gotta grab some flashlights." Then he goes straight to a cabinet and quickly retrieves two flashlights without a second thought, to which Doc is like, "How did you know they were in there??" Marty knows!! He knows exactly where the flashlights are because of course he does!!
• Perhaps one of the funniest moments of the show was right at the end of the "Future Boy" number, where the music stops and there's that breaking of the fourth wall moment. Doc and Marty look around in confusion at all the backup singers and dancers awkwardly standing around his house (one of the singers continues dancing/singing long after the others has stopped lol) and Doc wordlessly opens the door so they can all scurry out.
• Doc's dream of visiting the year 2020 where everything is perfect and there's "no disease" got some very loud laughter from the audience.
• Oh. Oh, the scene at Doc's house at night after the demonstration with the toy car. The way everything gets solemn for a moment, and Doc is doubting himself and worried about failing. Marty's lovely little speech about how everything will be okay because he believes in him. He trusts Doc. He knows it'll work and they'll get him home. The way Marty is the one looking after and taking care of Doc in that moment. When he asks, "Do you need anything, Doc? Can I make you a sandwich?" And then when he says softly, "Goodnight, Doc. Pleasant dreams."
THE MUSICAL GETS IT RIGHT. THE WARMTH. THE LOVE. THIS WAS SUCH A NICE ADDITION.
• "PUT YOUR MIND TO IT" !!!! I loved this sequence so, so much. Marty gets to strut his stuff while George flails around trying to imitate him. It was funny, the choreography was great, and we get such a nice Marty and George hug at the end! Why didn't they hug in the movie??
• The audience was super engaged and reactive through the whole show, but it noticeably ramped up in the latter part—starting with the night of the dance. There was such an excitement as people anticipated George swooping in to take down Biff and protect Lorraine. When Biff went down, the audience whooped and clapped and cheered so much.
• EARTH ANGEL! THE MOMENT GEORGE AND LORRAINE KISS. It was just like the movie. The music suddenly swelled, Marvin belted out, "The vision of your happiness", George and Lorraine kissed, and the audience. Lost. Their. Minds. It was as if people were experiencing the story for the first time—that's how strong the reaction was. So cool.
• Audience also went wild at the start of Johnny B. Goode. That was a neat sequence as well. Huge laughs at the "But your kids are gonna love it" line.
• The clocktower scene! Marty handing Doc the letter and saying, "I wrote you a thank-you note; don't read it until you get home!!" LOL. So many amazing effects going on in this one. For those of you who have seen the show, you probably remember Doc running up the clocktower stairs, right? Did the audience nearly die of laughter like they did at my showing? That was truly one of the top 5 funniest moments of the show, in my opinion. It had me giggling hours later once I was home. For those of you who have not seen the show, I don't think I can adequately put into words what was happening during this scene, but it was incredibly funny. It's good there wasn't any dialogue during it, because no one would have heard it with the way everyone was laughing.
• The fire trails on stage got quite the awed reaction. Super cool.
• The hug! We get our Doc and Marty hug at the end! I'm so glad they realized that moment was missing from the movie.
• I liked the shift from Marty waking up at home to him waking up on the bench in town instead. The "George McFly Day" part was a fun addition, and it flowed nicely into Marty's "Power of Love" performance.
• THE CAR FLEW. IT FLEW UP IN THE AIR AND THE WHEELS TURNED IN AND IT WENT OUT OVER THE AUDIENCE. HOW DID THEY DO THAT. IT DID A COMPLETE ROTATION UPSIDE DOWN WHILE CASEY AND BART WAVED TO PEOPLE. If anyone knows of any videos or articles explaining how they did things with the car, please let me know because I can't find anything and I would love to know how they did it! You couldn't see anything holding the car, and i'm so confused! The effects were so good.
• Love how, when the show ended, the giant screen on the stage just said, "Make like a tree and get outta here."
...I think those are all my thoughts. I was planning to write up a post with just a couple of bullet points of highlights and instead. Well. This is what you get from me, and if you've followed my blog for any length of time, you know that. But really, the show was so well done. I had a blast. I bought a pin that says, "Whoa, this is heavy" and I'm going to put it on my denim jacket :)
For those who are planning to see the musical, I hope this helps hype you up for it. And for those who can't see it, I hope this gives you a good look at what it's like!

Tickletober Day 5: "I'm Not Ticklish"
Summary: When a horror movie gets to be too much for Yuji, he turns to Junpei for comfort, only to discover something shocking about his new friend.
Word Count: 747
I have no idea what you're talking about. I definitely didn't forget to upload this yesterday. Definitely not. Anyway, this is pretty short, but I wanted to write something for my favorite boys! I hope you enjoy! 💙
"What was that?" Yuji asked, sounding innocent enough that Junpei believed he could play it off as nothing, if not for the mischievous grin on his face.
"I'm not ticklish!" He blurted, unable to stop himself then cringed, preparing for the worst.
There was a pause. Yuji laughed good-naturedly, "Really?"
He buried his face in his hands, nodding and awaiting his certain doom.
"Okay," he shrugged, sounding vaguely disappointed as he turned back to face the television.
It had been a sort of tradition for the boys to get together at least once a week to watch a movie together. And while Junpei preferred to watch them in the theater, it wasn't exactly practical today, but he had been too thrilled to let that upset him when Yuji had suggested a movie marathon.
Everything was going perfectly. They had met at Junpei's house and settled down on his slightly cramped couch, surrounded by blankets and snacks, chattering and laughing as they watched. Until they put on a horror movie, and Junpei discovered just how touchy Yuji could be.
Whenever there was something he deemed too scary or gross, he'd curl up to Junpei, burying his face in his shoulder to avoid looking at the screen. Not only that, but Yuji wasn't exactly shy. His touch extended beyond that as he didn't hesitate to lean against him or throw his arm around Junpei.
After getting over the initial embarrassment, he found he didn't exactly mind Yuji's casual affection, instead growing to enjoy what was becoming a familiar touch.
Until Yuji's arm slipped, accidentally elbowing him in the side and eliciting a surprised squeak from his friend, spurring the conversation between them.
Junpei didn't know exactly what he expected after his denial. More pushing, surely. Or maybe that Yuji would tickle him anyway.
He wasn't sure, but even more confusing was the odd sense of disappointment he felt when Yuji turned back to the movie.
The feeling of anticipation that had been bubbling in him fizzled out more and more as the seconds passed. Unconsciously, his lips curved into a pout. He was upset. He didn't know why, but he was upset.
He didn't like this feeling.
He liked Yuji. His easy-going attitude and unfamiliar yet comfortable affection. It took a moment to adjust, but he had enjoyed it. He didn't know why this would be any different.
"Yuji?" He started, before he could stop himself.
"Yeah?"
"I…" he hesitated, red-hot embarrassment flooding through him. "I lied. I am… you know."
"You are?" Yuji grinned, something Junpei would almost call disbelieving if not for the fact that he was confident Yuji already had known he was lying.
He swallowed, starting to regret his decision as his nerves grew, but managed a nod.
"Huh," Yuji nodded too with a smile. "You said you weren't before, so maybe I should check for sure."
That was his only warning before Yuji attacked, worming his fingers past the blankets to squeeze his sides, making him gasp and startle.
It didn't take long for laughter to burst from Junpei, surprisingly loud and bright for such a quiet guy.
Yuji's face lit up, a picture of pure joy. "I guess you really are ticklish," he said, sounding amazed.
"I tohohold yohohohu!"
"Well you did," Yuji hummed in thought, switching to rapidly poking at Junpei's ribs, making him curse and swat at his hands, "but you lied first. I don't think friends should do that."
He didn't know what to say to that, so he just laughed instead, noncommittally shaking his head.
"Yeah, I guess I should probably teach you a lesson."
That time, he didn't even have the option to respond before Yuji dug his fingers into his ribs, wriggling and clawing in an awful way that made Junpei shriek, thrashing as much as he could under his blanketed cage.
The sensation was one he hadn't experienced in years. He didn't know the last tone he'd been tickled; he didn't even know he was still ticklish before this. But as the tortuous sensations spread, coursing through him as Yuji's hands kept exploring, poking and prodding at his sensitive skin, he found himself not entirely hating the sensation.
It was oddly exhilarating. And he never could dislike something when Yuji was involved. So he gave into the fluttery feeling, allowing his friend to tickle him silly as he laughed, relaxed and happy and safe, the movie long forgotten.
He hoped they'd have more nights like these.

Quality over Quantity
Billy Russo x reader (aaaand some Frank Castle x reader)
Summary: You miss going to the movies while on deployment. Billy decides to give you a surprise, but it doesn't go quite the way he planned.
Notes: I have no idea how life while deployment is like, so sorry for any errors. But hey, fiction. And in this world Frank haven't met Maria yet. This is the first time writing Frank... and also first time writing a threesome, so be gentle 😅
Also thank you to @thisishellfire for sending this request ❤️
If people like this, I have an idea for a part 2. So let me know 😅🙈
Warnings: Oh God, so many. Fluff, pining, kissing. SMUT! Oral (m and f receiving), fingering (both vag and anal), unprotected sex, anal sex, juices for lube (I know, but I dont think marines carry around lube), double penetration, cock warming. Feelings and more fluff.
Words: 3.1 K
If there was one thing you missed when being away on deployment, it was movies. Sitting there in the dark, eating your popcorn while enjoying a movie. You, Billy, and Frank had talked about what you were looking forward to the most about getting home again. For you, it was a silly little thing like a movie. But that would still be months away. So for now, you were settling for one of Billy’s books.
“Hey there, short stack.” Billy teases as he sits down on his bed opposite yours. Eyes never leaving the book, you just flip him the finger and even though you don’t look, you know he’s flashing you his brightest smile. “Aw, is that how you greet all your friends?”
“Who says we’re friends?” You counter with a smile, eliciting a chuckle from Billy. When he still doesn’t move, you close your book and look at him. “What, Billy?”
“I have a surprise for you.” He’s very excited, practically jumping in his seat. You don’t think you’ve ever seen him like this. You’re about to dismiss him, knowing better than to trust Billy after some of the pranks he’s pulled on you. But when he stares at you with those deep dark eyes, how can you refuse? With a heavy sigh you sit up on the bed.
“Come on.” He holds out his hand and you take it, still confused. He leads you out of your quarters while you make small protests and into one of the abandoned tents on base. “Billy, what are we doin-”
But you stop, speechless at the sight before you. A small, slightly worn couch with some pillows and some crates with a laptop on top. What is this? And where did he even find a couch?
“I know it’s not a movie theater and-” he walks to the couch where he pulls out some water bottles and a small bowl of popcorn and gummy bears. “This is nowhere near as good as the large popcorn you usually devour and the giant soda, but you missed watching movies, so.” He shrugs, smiling softly.
“Billy, I…” You don’t even know what to say. This is really so sweet and so unexpected. Half expecting it’s all just a prank because of what you told him and Frank yesterday, you’re weary about sitting down. Billy, who clearly senses your apprehension, walks up to you, his smile faltering a bit.
“I just wanted to do something nice for you.” He looks away, about to walk out of the tent when you stop him.
“Thank you. It’s really sweet of you. It’s just so unexpected.”
“I can be nice, you know?” He says with a grin, that perfect boyish smile of his that always make you weak in the knees.
“Okay, so…” He sits down, powering up the laptop while you join him. “I borrowed this from Stevenson, but she only have a few movies saved on this one and she has a horrible taste in movies.” Billy makes a horrified face that makes you laugh as he opens the folder. “There’s a chick flick, some drama or that Gray thing. Could be horror.”
When you see one of your favorite films, Dorian Gray, you squeal with joy, only confusing Billy. “Are you kidding me? Dorian Gray? I love that movie! Ben Barnes looks so good in that one.”
You do a little excited dance in your seat, and you can tell Billy have already regretted doing this for you. But as he sees your smile, he just rolls his eyes and start the movie.
It’s barely been a minute before you sigh softly. Billy chuckles beside you, clearly finding it amusing how attracted you are to the man on screen. But you haven’t been on a date in ages, haven’t had sex in months, so could he really blame you?
“He is so cute.” You sigh, stuffing another gummy bear into your mouth. If only there were men like him in real life. Well, the things Dorian does are questionable, but the hotness would be great. Billy shift beside you, causing you to look at him. He actually does look a little like the actor, if he grew out his hair and removed the beard. And well… If he was younger. “You look a lot like him, actually.”
“Oh, so you think I’m cute?” He smirks, nudging your shoulder.
“Oh, shut up. You know you’re gorgeous.”
You don’t even have to look at him to know that shit eating grin of his is there as he is staring you down. You just ignore him, not wanting to give him the satisfaction of looking at him again.
28 minutes into the movie is the scene that always leave you yearning. There’s something about the look in Dorian’s eyes that would make you do whatever that man asked of you. Without even thinking, you clench your legs together with a heavy sigh.
“If anyone ever gave me that look, I’d suck their dick in a second.”
“Really?” Billy asks curiously, turning his body slightly towards yours. But you don’t even notice, to focused on the screen. A soft ‘yeah’ leave your lips, the yearning palpable. It’s been months since you were with someone and in this moment you don’t even care if Billy thinks you’re pathetic.
You feel him shift beside you and when you look at him, Billy is giving you the same look as Dorian. Eyes dark with desire, full of promises of all the pleasure to come.
“What are you… Wait, do you want me to…?”
With a smile, Billy starts to unbuckle his pants. You stop him, your hand gently moving his away. Your hand travel along his waistband, unbuttoning his pants with ease. Slowly, you pull the zipper down, your eyes never leaving Billy’s.
Your finger digs under his waistband, pulling his pants down with ease. Billy’s cock springs free, already hard and leaking precum. His dark eyes watch your every move, as you fall to your knees between his legs, gently pushing them apart before your hand grip around the base of his cock.
Billy lets out a sigh, his right hand grabbing a fistful of your hair as you slowly run your hand up and down his shaft. He leans back, his eyes shut in pleasure, as you lick up the length of his cock. His hand in your hair tightens while his free hand grips at the couch, his dark eyes now opens as he focuses on your tongue sliding around the head of his cock.
“How the movie-” Frank’s voice interrupts you and as both you and Billy look to the opening, Frank is rooted in place, shocked over the sight before him.
“Did I tell you to stop?” Billy asks, his voice soft but demanding, his hand in your hair pulling your attention back to him. Well aware that Frank is staring at you, your face turns bright red as you once again focus on Billy’s aching cock.
His body shudders with pleasure as you take him into your mouth, his heels digging into the floor to keep him grounded. You take his cock deeper, drawing a sweet moan from Billy’s lips. Your tongue dance over his heated skin, drool slipping past your lips and down his throbbing cock.
Billy looks to the side, seeing Frank still standing in the doorway, staring intently at the way you work his cock. “Enjoying the show, Frankie?” Billy moans as you take him to the root, his cock hitting the back of your throat.
“Fuck sweetheart.” Frank breathes out, his hand travelling to his cock to adjust himself. His eyes linger on you when you pull back, until only Billy’s tip remains in your mouth, lightly sucking the head. Your eyes find Billy’s, a mischievous grin as you swirl your tongue around his tip.
“Good girl. Sure you don’t want in on this, Frankie?” Billy tears his eyes away from yours, looking into Franks eyes. Swallowing hard, he turns and close the tent door, making sure no one else could enter. Slowly, he makes his way over to the couch, his eyes never leaving your mouth working Billy’s thick length.
Gripping your hair, Billy pulls you off his cock, his free hand caressing your cheek. “You’ve done so good baby. Now, get your ass onto the couch.”
“Wait.” Frank stops you once you’re on your feet, quickly removing your pants and underwear. With the help from Billy, they get you onto the couch, Billy claiming your lips in a heated kiss as Frank kiss down the column of your neck. Working in sync, they remove your tank top and bra, leaving you naked between them.
Billy’s mouth soon joins Franks, peppering kisses on your soft skin. He moves down your body, now his turn to be on his knees in front of you. Placing soft kisses on your inner thighs, he watches as Frank kiss you hard, your hand traveling to the bulge in his pants.
“Why don’t you show Frank how good you are with that mouth, baby girl, while I take care of you?”
Frank unbuckles his pants, making quick work at removing them, revealing his thick length. You grin, tongue running over your lips before placing them around the head of Frank’s cock. He gasps at the feeling, been months since he’s felt the touch of anything besides his own hand. His brown eyes watch you intently as your mouth encircles him, sucking gently.
“Feel good, Frankie?” Billy ask with a smile, as he place a tender kiss on your mound. You gasp around Frank’s cock, moaning as Billy’s tongue lick up your slit. He gives a low growl, and his tongue flicks out to taste her again. His tongue works against her heated sex, tasting, sucking and nibbling on the tender flesh. Billy push two fingers into you, working you open as you suck Franks cock with greed.
Franks hips buck into your mouth, driving his cock deeper into your throat as his hand grips your hair, holding you in place. You gag around his length as Frank continues to thrust into your mouth.
“Fuck, baby doll.” He gasps, his eyes closing in bliss at the feeling of your warm tongue on his cock. “So good. You’re so good.”
You moan out loud, having never felt this good before. Billy’s fingers keep hitting that sweet spot inside you and his talented tongue helping, bringing you closer to the edge. Frank’s free hand cups your cheek, caressing you as he whispers soft praises over how well you take his cock.
It only takes a few more flicks of Billy’s tongue before you come, Billy’s name falling from your lips as you come undone. He works you through it, kissing and licking softly as you come down from your high. He looks at Frank, the two of them exchanging a smile.
“You’re doing so good, sweetheart.” Frank praises, his thumb rubbing your cheek in soothing circles.
“So perfect.” Billy follows, kissing your thighs before looking up at you.
“B-Billy…” You whimper, your breathing still strained. Billy’s hands caress your thighs, his lust blown eyes locked with yours. “What is it, baby?”
“More.” You pant, your pleading eyes darting between Billy and Frank. “I need more…” You whisper. Billy’s eyes widen and he looks at Frank with a smile.
“What do you say, Frankie? Should we give her what she wants?” Billy get up off the floor, kneeling on the couch beside you. His pants hand loose on his hips, his throbbing cock begging for attention. but he tears your gaze away, looking into your eyes as he gives you a soft kiss. “You want us both, sweetheart?”
“Yes… Please.” You whimper. Billy sits down on the couch, pulling you in to straddle his lap. Frank walks up behind you, brushing the hair away from your neck, placing soft kisses on your shoulder and neck. Billy’s hands squeeze your hips gently, pulling you closer against his erection.
With just a glance, Billy and Frank come to an agreement. Frank’s fingers gather some of your juices, one of his thick digits pressing against your tight hole. You gasp at the feeling, but soon forget as Billy start rubbing your clit. As Frank continues to work your ass open, Billy makes sure you feel good and relax for them. You come hard, his soft-spoken praises in your ear once again bringing you over the edge.
“What do you say, sweetheart? You ready for us?” Billy asks tenderly, his smooth voice causing you to shiver. Frank’s hands caress your hips, waiting for you to speak. They patiently wait for you, not wanting to move before you do. You nod, cheeks flushed red as you feel both men’s gaze on you.
Frank leans in, his breath ghosting over the soft skin of your neck, placing a soft kiss just below your ear, before he hums. “Words, sweetheart.”
“Y-yes. Please.”
Delicately, almost like they’re afraid you’ll break, Billy lift you up, lining his weeping cock up at your entrance. Slowly he lowers you onto his aching length until he’s fully sheathed in your velvety heat. You shudder above him, gasping as his thick cock stretch you open.
“Fuck, Billy.” You gasp out his name, bracing yourself against him as he pulls out and thrust back into you. Lost in the feeling of him, you forget about Frank until he chuckles softly behind you, patting your ass playfully.
“You forgot I was here, beautiful? Does Billy’s cock feel that good?” He nipples at your ear, causing your skin to break out in goosebumps. Your whine is all the confirmation they need, a happy smirk forming on Billy’s beautiful face. Billy gestures to Frank, pulling you closer to make more room for him. Frank takes the hint, gathering up some of your slick and his own spit, wetting his cock.
“This may hurt, sweetheart. Just breathe.” He coos, lining his cock up at your tight entrance. You tense for a second, but forget it all when Billy claims your lips in a passionate kiss. His finger on your clit distracts you, making you relax as Frank push the head of his cock inside.
You whimper as Frank push in slowly, taking his time. Billy leaves a trail of kisses down the column of your neck, whispering softly in you ear of how good you are while Frank caress your back, easing into you. With some patience, Frank push himself all the way to the hilt, growling as he bottoms out.
It’s all too much, both of them fully sheathed in you, their throbbing cocks stretching you open. Billy’s fingers still dance over your clit, their free hands caressing your curves.
“You okay there, baby?” Billy ask, his eyes fixed on your even though they are closed from pure bliss. With a barely audible yes that makes both men grin, they start moving.
Moving in sync, the men breathe hard against you, both of them thrusting into you faster. You’ve never been more full, more satisfied in your life. Throwing your head back against Frank, he kiss your neck, fucking you harder.
“Nah, Frankie. She’s mine.” Billy breathes out, thrusting deeper as he cups your cheek, pulling you in for a passionate kiss. You moan against his lips when suddenly, another wave of pleasure wash over you. With Billy’s name on your lips, you come harder than you’ve ever done before.
Billy feels another wave of pleasure at how vulnerable you look. Usually you’re strong, independent and feisty. But now, in this moment, you look so small, delicate. Completely at their mercy and honestly he’s never wanted you more. Your cheeks flushed, eyes clouded with lust and tears in the corners of your eyes from the sheer pleasure you feel from them both.
“Fuck!” Frank grunts from behind, gripping your hips so hard its sure to leave bruises as he buries his cock in you, spilling his hot seed in you. The sight of Frank’s face torn in pleasure and you moaning out their names in bliss, is too much for Billy. He throws his head back as he gives in. He comes hard, filling you with his cum as your name spill over his lips.
You stay like this for a moment, only the sound of your shared breathing filling the tent. You’re slumped against Billy, his cock still throbbing inside you, as Frank stand panting behind you, hands loosing on your hips. When Frank pulls out slowly, you open your eyes only to see Billy with his shut with the biggest smile on his face.
When he opens his eyes, his dark orbs find yours. His eyes are softer now, the way he’s looking at you different than before. But even though you secretly like Billy, you dare not hope, knowing how he is with women.
But what you didn’t know was that for the first time, Billy truly saw you. Your cheeks red, eyes still unfocused and your hair a mess. But most of all he saw your smile. God, you’re truly beautiful. Your eyes find his, softer whenever you look at him than with anyone else.
Sensing the shift between you and Billy, Frank picks his pants up from the floor, the action causing both you and Billy to look at him. Suddenly you feel guilty over the attention you’ve given Billy, never wanting Frank to think he wasn’t wanted.
“Frank, I-”
“No need to worry about me, baby.” He give you a boyish smile as he close his pants, closing the gab between you. “I still had fun.”
Giving you one last soft kiss, he begins to walk away, but turn hallway to the tent opening. “Besides… I got this girl at home I’ve been wanting to take on a date. Quality, you know.”
He gives Billy a little wink, before he walks out of the tent, leaving you and Billy alone. That’s when you realize you’re still naked and his softening cock still is inside you. Suddenly you feel very exposed, the confidence from before gone and left only the insecurity you’ve always felt around Billy. You know you’re nothing like the girls be brag about from home. But the smile on his face gives you hope that maybe, just maybe, you’re not just another notch in his belt.
“Even though it didn’t go as I planned, I hope you still like the surprise.” Billy says, gently brushing your wild hair behind your ear.
“I did.” You chuckle, running your hands down his chest, to the little scar on his belly. “What did Frank mean by quality?”
He just smiles, grabbing one of the blankets beside him, wrapping it around your shoulders. Pulling you into his embrace, he kiss you softly before letting you rest against his chest. “Just something Frank told me the other day. And I think I know what he was talking about now.”

Fucking, no one told me there would be a cat.
A Quiet Place: Day One spoilers
CW: dark themes, death, and death of animal talk. I just woke up sorry if this doesn’t make any sense.
First of all, he’s SO cute. What a good boy being a good actor cat.
I didn’t see the trailer so if it showed Frodo in it then that’s why I didn’t know.🤷
I will never be ashamed when I say that I’m ok with spoilers and I’ll look up the endings to stuff while I’m watching it or see social media post about it before I’m done with a series. It genuinely enhances my time watching it if I know certain things. The reason why I like to watch something is because I’m seeing it happen, as a massive rewatcher I don’t need to feel the suspense and confusion before things get are concluded in the plot. I’m happy just to see it happen.
It also takes me so so so long to finish a series or start watching a movie I want to watch, I’ll watch the entire movie when I sit down but once there’s multiple episodes or parts to something it’s going to take me a while to see it all. I just don’t like feeling like I’m watching tv all day.
So, when my boyfriend and I were sitting in the theater yesterday, and we saw a cat show up in a murder movie. Both of us were like 🫣🫢🫠fuck.
When the first explosion of the Death Angels hit New York, when Samira was on the bus, bf and I didn’t see Frodo anywhere and we were like ok, off screen death, we aren’t going to see him the rest of the movie cool.
But then we did!! And he almost got killed!!! Samira jumped and grabbed him and we were writhing in our seats!
We have 2 cats at home for context, any and every cat is like a baby to me and I am fiercely protective over them. I tell them this all the time. I look into their little face and say, “Suki, Jojo, I would kill for you, do you understand?” Boyfriend knows if he fucked up majorly (I had a dream once where I came home and he had accidentally offed Jojo) he says he would allow me to hit him or something and we would break up immediately.
So now every time Frodo is on screen I start getting worried and crying (I’m also crying because it’s a beautiful movie). I don’t remember what scene it was but eventually I fish out my phone (there were 2 other people in the theater, in front of us) and he starts laughing and says he was about to do the same.
So I look it up, and great, now we know Frodo survives the whole movie. We can enjoy wtf is happening with these aliens. And I can better love the movie inconsistencies with an animal.
What I mean by that is, they went under water for a good while to escape, popped up and was struggling to get out because Samira has fucking cancer and is in pain, and then we see Frodo. A little wet.😂
I love it, I love shit like that because it doesn’t matter in the plot if they make sure the cat is drenched or not. But it kind of gives off the vibe that cats are just untouchable beings and I’m wholeheartedly ok with that.
I was just going to talk about Frodo in this post but now I gotta say, Feeling Good is such a good song. She’s such a baller for going out that way. Cinematically really satisfying.
Thank you, ok I love A Quiet Place, Bye!

My thoughts on Disney's Wish (Spoilers)
Let me preface this by saying that I haven't heard all of the negative things that have been circling around the movie, but I've heard more than a few things that painted a pretty grim picture of the movie before I went to see it. I was going in expecting something akin to Strange World going in, which I really didn't like (and that's coming from someone who likes unique worldbuilding.)
After I left the theater yesterday, my thoughts were just, "This is the worst Disney movie of 2023?" I really didn't have any issues with it at all, and even if I usually tend to have a more positive outlook on movies I watch in comparison to others, I just have to say that this was NOT a terrible movie. Disney has had a LOT of blunders in 2023, but I can't say that this was one of them. I know that a lot of people out there might disagree with me or even hate me, but Wish made me feel something that I don't feel very often: magic.
It's hard for me to know what specifically to talk about since I don't know about all the criticisms the movie's gotten, though I do know about a few. The first one that sticks out to me is the movie's art style, and how some people have called it ugly and even unfinished looking. But... I honestly don't get it. Nothing strikes me as unfinished, and I never found the art style to be irritating. It was something new, and I thought it was fine. It uses shading and colors that are a bit flatter than some of their previous works, but I saw that as it being a sort of in-between of the 2D look of the classics and the 3D look of the newer movies. There was probably only one time where I noticed something was slightly off, and that was where Asha is waving around some flags at the beginning and having no motion blur or smear frames on it looked a little awkward. I can also understand how some of the shots can feel a bit flat, but once again that's something that makes it feel similar to the 2D classics.
Up next, I heard some things about some of the characters being trash. The main two I heard about were Asha and King Magnifico. Some of the main things I heard concerning Asha was that she's dorky and silly to a fault, and what I have to say to that is that although she's pretty silly at the beginning of the movie and sometimes it can be a bit embarrassing to watch, that's just Asha being Asha before the adventure kicks off. As the story progressed, I thought that she learned to be more serious over time as she learned the truth about the wishes and Magnifico and what she really wanted to do, and most of her antics after that point are mostly concerning the actions of other characters. I never felt like she was silly in places where it was inappropriate, and I actually ended up liking her a lot. As for Magnifico, I haven't heard anything specific about him other than the fact that he's supposedly the worst Disney villain of all time. But... I just don't see it. His motivations are believable (according to my standards), he's shown to be a narcissist who doesn't truly listen to other people's criticisms, and him turning from a king who wants to maintain order while very rarely giving people what they want into a power hungry madman who wants nothing more than for his subjects to bend to his will and lick his boots feels in character for him and it had the right setup. I thought that the supporting characters were all good as well, but my least favorite was probably Valentino. He was alright and he did his job, but he really felt like more of a gimmick than anything else.
The next thing I want to talk about is the music. I don't know if anybody's had a lot of bad things to say about it, but I thought the songs were great. After Encanto I was wondering what they'd have in store for this movie, because although Encanto had some banger songs there were one or two that I didn't really like. Not so for Wish though, because I liked every last song that was in the movie. I'm... not really sure what else to say here.
I heard about there being a few cameos in the movie as well, and I picked up on a lot of them as I watched it. But the references feel tasteful, not overblown and obvious, and something you'll really only notice if you're looking for it (except for the Peter Pan reference maybe, but that's just one.)
One last thing I want to talk about is how I've seen some people calling the film's main source of conflict something that makes Asha a bad person. Basically, they say that her mission goes against Magnifico's warnings of what could happen if everybody is allowed to keep their wishes and that there could be some serious consequences that she's too headstrong to consider. But... they address all these points in the movie. Even if someone's wish turns out to be a rotten one, you can always try to step in and make sure it doesn't get too out of hand.
And I think those are all the things I had to say concerning Wish. I personally feel like it paid some good tribute to the animated classics with its story and familiar themes, and it was a good way to celebrate 100 years of the Walt Disney company, though I'm well aware that there are plenty who disagree. If there are some things that I didn't cover or consider please let me know, and I'd like to hear what you all have to say about the movie as well.

A weird double feature and my plethora of unpopular opinions!
I usually don't go to more than one movie at the theater but yesterday I had a sort of double feature with Longlegs and Deadpool & Wolverine. I had about a three hour break between for lunch and a nap (did not sleep well Friday night-- don't ask)-- but still. I barely go to the movies as it is-- two showings in one day is a lot for me.
Too bad I got a double dose of meh.
(Never fear: no spoilers, just unpopular opinions.)
Longlegs I went into blind. I only knew 1) Nick Cage was in it and 2) the main character was an FBI agent. Knew nothing else, read no reviews, nothing. I liked the first third, but gradually lost interest.
If you've read this blog a while, you know I love slow burn horror. The less jump scares and loud shocks, the better. However, this was a strangely hollow experience for me. I found the characters underwritten, their relationships uninteresting. Also the twists made the story less intriguing for me.
I didn't think Longlegs was bad-- it's a decent enough movie. I just wasn't wowed at all and I like it less the more I think about it. The plot and characters just didn't work for me. Good atmosphere and visuals though, and I'm glad I got to experience it in a movie theater.
Deadpool & Wolverine I really only went to because I was invited to go with others. I like the first Deadpool movie okay-- saw it in the theater in 2016, rewatched it on streaming a few years after. I watched the second one Friday night to prep myself for the new one.
I pretty much feel the same way about all three of these movies: they're shallowly entertaining one-trick ponies. Lots of swearing and sex jokes that become less funny the more they're indulged over the course of two hours. Lots of pop culture references. Meta jabs at Hollywood and superhero movie tropes. Gory fight scenes set to '70s/'80s songs. Random sentimental moments that are super jarring.
I'm not going to say the jokes don't make me laugh-- I laughed about 70% of the time. Also the third film benefits from the great chemistry between Ryan Reynolds and Hugh Jackman. That scene of them fighting in the Honda Odyssey was hilarious. But part of me finds these films kinda tiresome. Like Longlegs, the more I ruminate on the film, the less I like it.
Did make me want to rewatch the X-Men films though. Well, maybe just the first two!

I met Paul Bettany (again) yesterday at Dallas Fan Festival and I'm not sure I'll ever recover.
To preface this, I've been doing cons and seeing live productions for a long time, so I have met a fair number of celebrities and I've never had a bad experience. Getting to meet Lizzie Olsen a few months back was thrilling enough, and I feel so blessed that both she and Paul ended up attending conventions in Texas within a span of months. That said, Paul Bettany blew every other celebrity meeting I've had so far out of the water I don't even know how to compare them. Part of that is my own personal connection to his work - he's been my favorite actor for a very *very* long time - and getting to share how he's been a part of my journey from afar was very emotional and so *so* worth it. Long story below the cut:
When I met him breifly in NYC it was very exciting, but he was running almost 30 minutes late to his own play and didn't have time to chat, so we just snapped the selfie and that was that. The play was an amazing experience, and I discussed it in this post back in December when it happened.
Yesterday I had several one-on-one minutes with him over the course of the day. After a little stress getting in the line (where a kind lady on staff went out of her way to help me and a large group of friends in line with me. One of them had purchased an autograph because she's collecting MCU signatures in a book, but she told me she also wanted to set me up so he knew I was a super-fan.
He started by looking at the print and then deciding he was going to sign it in pink. He was *very* adamant about that, and I laughed and said it was his call. The grin as he started to write and confirmed that yes, pink was the right colour was a wonderful laugh at the beginning.
I told him that I specifially painted this for him to sign, and he was so kind as he looked at it and told him it was my art. I shared a little of my journey and thanked him, because I found Vision as a character due to being a fan of his acting for nearly 2 decades, starting with when I saw A Knights Tale shortly after it came out back in 2001. Before I could drive my dad would take me to go see every movie he did in theaters, and as an adult I've kept up. Paul's work has been a constant in my life, and a source of comfort long before his involvement in the MCU let alone my love of Vision as a character (completely seperate from the man who plays him)
I explained how I had been fighting severe depression for most of the 10 years prior to WandaVision's release, and I had given up on art. Watching WandaVision, and then reading comics about Vision made me want to paint him. The first several times I've never shared (maybe I'll do a big dump of unfinished/unreleased art one of these days) but I just kept trying. In the time since I've created close to 200 piece of art, and I take so much joy in it again. When I have a bad week I paint to relax, I paint when I'm struggling to express things, for a distraction or to share my joy. I didn't go into so much detail with Paul but he listened to every word. I then mentioned that I had met him very breifly in NYC last winter because I had travelled to see him for The Collaboration, and a front-row seat had been my Christmas Gift. He was *so happy* guys. He looked like he had just been given the best compliment ever when I told him how much of a treat it was to get to see him acting live. He made this little happy sound and it was so lovely. I think as artists, knowing our work has inspired others in the way we are inspired is a very high compliment and it felt that way.
He was so kind and at the end of our time together before I walked away he looked at me and told me I had a gift, and thanked me for sharing it with him. I think hearing my story and his small but oh-so-important role in it made him a little emotional too, he looked like he might cry for a breif moment. I said I would be seeing him later for a photo and he smiled so brighly and waved me off, and he didn't turn to the next group until I turned away from his table. All my friends were waiting for me and had been watching and they started freaking out about the conversation. Another friend who was in a different line but had excellent eyesight of Paul was like 'I think he loved your art wow his reaction'. They watched him with other guests for quite awhile and commented that he was all smiles and like that with everyone. Every other person I spoke with at the convention who met him had nothing but glowing things to say. A few friends told me after they now understand why I'm so fond of him hah.
I had a period of time between the autograph and the scheduled photo ops, so I walked the rest of the event and picked up some goodies I'll share in another post - it was like Paul Bettany/Vision Christmas I've never seen so much Vision art and merch selling and on display let alone being bought. When it was finally my time for the photo he finished with the group ahead of me and his face lit up with a bright smile as I moved into the space. I wasn't sure how close was ok - I have a rule of thumb when doing con photos to let the guest decide how much contact/space is ok because everyone is different. Paul put his arm around me and kept nudging me until I finally moved in closer, then he gave me a proper hug with a little squeeze. If you've ever imagined huging Vision (or Paul) it's exactly what you expect. Before he let me go he thanked me again (?!) and waved me off, and said he'd see me at his panel in a little bit.
His panel was also fantastic and fun, and he charmed the entire room. Some friends went with me who aren't as familiar with him or his work outside of Marvel, and they all agreed they would pay to meet him again/see a panel if he had one. I'm sure someone else will beat me to uploading the video (I did record most of it but my phone was almost dead) so I won't go into too much detail but it was such a fun hour.
I couldn't have asked for a better day. If anyone on this Earth made me feel the way Vision makes me feel when I'm reading comics or watching MCU projects, it was Paul. He described Vision in an interview once as 'warmth personified' and I think that's just a lot of *him*. His energy was infectuous and he was so gracious and kind and humbled by the display of fans. It was also just nice to see so many people celebrating his art and the characters he plays. It's rare to see *so much* love for Vision, let alone others that are less known.
If you are a fan and have an opportunity to see Paul Bettany live please do. He really is a gem and in this case I'm so glad I got to meet my hero in more ways than one.

LIP×LIP FILM×LIVE Special Radio English Translation
-----
T/N: Keep in mind that Japanese and English aren’t my first language. I never claim my translation (attempts) to be error-free. As always, if you’re going to use or reference my translations, please do not claim it as your own and credit me.
This track is an enclosed benefit in the Deluxe version of the Blu-Ray/DVD. The length is around 18min. When I first listened to it in 2021, I immediately love it! It seems serious at first but it’s quite hilarious XD I wanted to translate it back then actually, but it’s so long!! Songs are easier to tl because they’re like bite-sized. But drama tracks...I’m not good at translating by ear...lol. Though I did my best for this one, so I hope it’s close enough!! ( ´ ▽ ` )
But I really had a lot of fun translating this, haha. I was supposed to post it for LIPxLIP’s birthday this year, but well, I couldn’t fit it into my sched that time. And I’ve been busy afterwards, so I was only able to work on it again a few days ago. Anyways, YAY, FINALLY, I finished translating! I’m really proud of myself for doing so! (๑˃ᴗ˂)ﻭ

Both: LIPxLIP FILMxLIVE Special Radio!
Aizou: Hello! This is LIPxLIP’s Aizou and-
Yuujirou: Yuujirou. Please take care of us.
Aizou: We’re in your care.
Yuujirou: It’s finally on sale.
Aizou: Finally! The Blu-ray and DVD containing the secret story behind the formation of our unit LIP×LIP!
Yuujirou: With that being said, it was released in the theaters nationwide in the year 2020 - LIP×LIP FILM×LIVE.
Aizou: This time, to commemorate the release of the Blu-Ray and DVD, the two of us will deliver a certain program. Applause, please.
*clapping sfx*
Yuujirou: Listening to this program means you’ve already watched the main story, right?
Aizou: There might be inside stories about the movie and the LIVE, so for the people who have not seen it yet, please head over there and check it out.
Yuujirou: Nevertheless, yabai ne.
Aizou: What is?
Yuujirou: Because if you have this Blu-Ray, you can watch the movie and the LIVE for as many times as you like!
Aizou: Yes, yes! You can watch the scene where Yuujirou cuts his bangs for as much as you like!
Yuujirou: “I…can’t do the LIVE….” Aizou’s disheartened murmuring as well.
Aizou: Don’t say that!
Yuujirou: By the way, there have been a lot of reactions since the film was released, any reaction on your side?
Aizou: Speaking of which, a while after the movie came out, our classmates came close to me with smiles on their faces, and all of a sudden, they showed me their bags. When I thought, what about it…my can badge was pinned on it.
Yuujirou: The film’s benefits?
Aizou: Yes, yes. Of course, it made me happy…but I felt slightly embarrassed. But well…Yuujirou’s can badge is a different matter - it annoys me.
Yuujirou: Why? My can badge is great~
Yuujirou: But I’m grateful to have people close to us watch it.
Aizou: Yeah. I’m really thankful. And you, Yuujirou? Did something happen?
Yuujirou: Ah, just now- it’s about yesterday though. We had lessons until late yesterday, right? So, when I came back home, I could hear a woman’s sniffles coming from the living room- and while thinking ‘It’s scary. Scary.’, I opened the door and-
Aizou: You opened the door and...?
Yuujirou: With a bath towel in one hand, Mom was crying, watching our movie.
Yuujirou: Look, we received the Blu-Ray before the others, right.
Aizou: Yeah, well- I have a feeling it’s probably Yuujirou’s mother, but a bath towel-
Yuujirou: Though she also came to the theaters. It seems the more she watches it, the more she starts to cry from the get-go. Even now, she cries at the opening LIVE.
Aizou: Ah, she was crying at that part…?
Yuujirou: Wait, anyway- It’s not good to continue to stay in this corner.
Yuujirou: Aizou, hey, like this.
Aizou: Don’t order me.
Yuujirou: It’s because, here, Aizou will be in-charge of the script.
Aizou: Okay, fine! I just have to do it, right?
02:36
Aizou: And so, the first corner is “Because it is now that I can speak of it - the FILM×LIVE Inside Stories”.
*clapping sfx*
Aizou: Here in this corner, about half a year after the film was released, we can talk about LIP×LIP FILM×LIVE. Because it is now that we can speak of it. Things such as this and that happened.
Yuujirou: Inside stories, huh.
Yuujirou: We did a lot of things for the release of our film, right.
Aizou: Yes, yes. We also used the live streaming software to broadcast it and everyone had a look.
Yuujirou: The secret footage of the dressing room will be seen by our Julietta.
Aizou: Don’t say secret footage! Manager knows it and she properly gave permission.
Yuujirou: “Eh? Don’t tell me- Aizou’s like this!?” You might see that side of him.
Aizou: If you say that, it applies to you too!
Aizou: As to the story of the film, though you will know the reason why our unit name is LIP×LIP, this radio’s program was crazy at first.
Yuujirou: Yes, yes. President decided on that, right.
Aizou: That name ended up as, ‘Delivering to Julietta: Ai ♡ Yuu’
Yuujirou: The President says hackneyed is good, but as expected, it’s that.
Aizou: Don’t say that. Though I’ll do everything in my power to stop it.
Aizou: Or rather- there’s one thing I want to tell you!
Yuujirou: What is it?
Aizou: When there is a delivery, can we stop using rock-paper-scissors in choosing who will go first?
Yuuijrou: But why?
Yuujirou: It’s fair and square.
Aizou: Because I can’t win in janken (rock-paper-scissors)!
Aizou: Today as well, the sweets I wanted were taken by you.
Yuujirou: Aizou’s really weak at janken ne.
Aizou: Didn’t we fight over the tuna mayo onigiri in the movie?
Yuujirou: Ah, the ones that Uchida-san bought for us after our dance lessons?
Aizou: Yes, yes. I lost at janken that time. You ate the tuna mayo then.
Yuujirou: But since then, the tuna mayo rice balls we’ve been eating have become two.
Aizou: It did. It did. Ah but, there are times where it appears as a different bento in other studios. Like meat and fish.
Yuujirou: There were.
Aizou: At such times, why is it that every time I want to eat something it’s similar to you, I can’t win at janken, and I feel like I’m the only one losing money.
Yuujirou: About that- Well- Ganbatte.
Aizou: The way you say it pisses me off!
Yuujirou: But, there is no quicker way to resolve it other than janken.
Aizou: For that- Today is the day I choose first. The next time is the day Yuujirou will choose first.
Yuujirou: Ehhh, then- if Aizou wins at janken, then we will go with your suggestion.
Aizou: I told you- Didn’t we just talk about that I can’t win in that.
Yuujirou: You won’t know if you don’t try. Who knows, you might win by some possibility. For the time being, let’s do it once.
Aizou: He really said ‘by some possibility’.
Yuujirou: Enough of that, look, let’s do it.
Both: Starting with rock, jankenpon!
Aizou: Why did I go with scissors-
Yuujirou: I’m rock, so it’s my win! And so- Aizou’s suggestion is rejected!
Aizou: Seems like I can’t win anymore in my lifetime.
Aizou: Ah, so- do you have none to share, Yuujirou? Some inside stories?
Yuuijrou: Oh right, it’s a story about our lessons. We receive vocal lessons too, right?
Aizou: The snippets of that and our dance lessons were cut in the movie, right.
Yuujirou: I want to show those to Julietta.
Aizou: Why?
Yuujirou: Because- Aizou couldn’t even read the sheet music. Though IV-san, who came to our lessons, had a smile on his face, he must have been absolutely fed up with you.
Aizou: Even though I couldn’t read it, I could sing it just by listening to it.
Yuujirou: I heard it during our LIVE too, but you can properly read it now, right?
Aizou: Yes- Well- Perfectly.
Yuujirou: How suspicious. Though you couldn’t read the sheet music, you could sing the chorus well.
Aizou: That’s because- if I sing this part by how it feels, it will generally sound and feel good, right?
Yuujirou: It….will…? Anyway, forget it. In the next vocal lesson, I’ll check whether Aizou has learned to read sheet music or not, and I’ll wait for the opportunity to report the details in some way.
Aizou: No- you don’t have to do it!
Yuujirou: But, in terms of our lessons, we are greatly indebted to everyone from Full Throttle4.
Aizou: Truly. They are already busy on their own and they took the trouble to take care of us newcomers.
Yuujirou: After our lessons, they would occasionally come to the agency and see how we are.
Aizou: Oh, about that! I was invited by YUI-san to eat ramen.
Yuujirou: Eh!? I wasn’t invited!
Aizou: You went back first that day because you had something to do at your house.
Yuujirou: Take me along next time, then.
Aizou: You can just go with me.
Yuujirou: No, Aizou is out of the options.
Aizou: Why!?
06:43
Yuujirou: Ah, about the inside stories! I remembered one!
Aizou: What is it, what is it?
Yuujirou: There’s a secret place you told me about.
Aizou: Ah, that place where we practiced secretly after our lessons at the agency.
Yuujirou: Yes, there.
Yuujirou: We’ve practiced there many times but there was once a time that we were not able to practice at all.
Aizou: There was?
Yuujirou: There was! When we were practicing, a stray cat came out of nowhere, and Aizou was all, ‘You’re adorable! Where did you come from?’ and became so madly in love with the cat.
Aizou: Don’t exaggerate the story!
Aizou: I did think of the cat as adorable but ‘dechuu ne’- there’s no way I’d say that!
[T/N: dechuu ne - a cute form of desu ne]
Yuujirou: Well, you didn’t say it but-
Aizou: See, I knew it!
Yuujirou: But, the ‘we were not able to practice’ was true.
Aizou: That’s because...when a cat rubs against one’s legs, most people will pat their heads, right?
Yuujirou: They don’t rub against me…
Aizou: What, were you envious?
Yuujirou: I am not envious! I am a dog person.
Aizou: Yes, yes~ if you say so.
07:33
Aizou: Ah, do you have any inside story about the LIVE part this time?
Yuujirou: Oh yeah… The LIVE this time around..from the set-list to the small details of the performance, we put forward a lot of our suggestions, right?
Aizou: Hmm yeah, the staff had numerous meetings as well.
Yuujirou: Yes, that’s why, we were aware of how the performance will go in general. But even so, Aizou, when he saw the sparks in the performance he was all, ‘Amazing!! Wow!! That’s awesome!!’ like a primary schooler would.
Aizou: Are you exaggerating again?
Yuujirou: This one just now was not.
Aizou: Ah- no, but-! That can’t be helped! Wait, Yuujirou was excited, too!
Yuujirou: Not as much as Aizou though.
Yuujirou: But really, it was more amazing than we imagined.
Aizou: It was incredible. And later, the light from the penlights as seen from the stage was stunning.
Yuujirou: Aizou can’t say anything other than yabai.
Aizou: Shut up! It was truly stunning! Everyone’s waving their blue and yellow penlights-
Yuujirou: There was a lot of blue. It was beautiful.
Aizou: Haa? There was more yellow!
Yuujirou: Blue!
Aizou: Yellow!
08:33
Aizou: Ah, but- LOVE&KISS made its debut this time and it was exceptionally well-received.
Yuujirou: Yes, that’s right. Everyone was enthusiastic during the solo dance part in the interlude before the last chorus.
Aizou: Just as I thought, it was correct to add dynamic dance steps to it!
Yuujirou: Yes, by the way, does Aizou have any favorite lyrics in LOVE&KISS?
Aizou: Ah, there’s a lot, but I think it’s the chorus.
Aizou: Zettai yume wa, zettai kimi no, LOVE&KISS~
Aizou: Zettai muri wa, zekkouchou de kowashichae~
Aizou: That part.
Yuujirou: Other than that?
Aizou: Ah, right. Before the chorus.
Aizou: Kugidzuke ni shite yaru~
Aizou: I also like that one.
Yuujirou: Ah, that was close!
Aizou: Eh? What do you mean by ‘close’?
Yuujirou: There are similar lyrics at the end of the last chorus, right? Not the ‘kugidzuke ni shite yaru’.
Aizou: Yakitsuke sasete ageru yo…?
Yuujirou: With that being said, the next is this-!!
Yuujirou: Like a kiss, we want to convey these words to you. A corner in which we set fire to the hearts of Julietta!
*clapping sfx*
09:37
Yuujirou: In this corner, with a given situation, we will speak lines that can set fire to Julietta’s heart using dialogues!
Aizou: Hey, don’t continue like nothing happened!
Yuujirou: Eh, what?
Aizou: You made me say it needlessly! Like the ‘yakitsuke sasate ageru yo’!
Yuujirou: But we can’t go to the next corner if you don’t do it.
Aizou: No. Do it normally.
Yuujirou: Alright, first, an example!
Yuujirou: Oh no! When you open your eyes, somehow, you’ve turned into a frog! Not to mention, there is a big snake in front of you. You have to find a way to convince the snake in order for you to overcome this crisis.
Aizou: No, no, wait a minute-
Yuujirou: What is it?
Aizou: I want to question a lot of things- but- this will not set fire to Julietta’s heart but the snake’s instead!
Yuujirou: As far as the result is concerned, is it not enough if it can make an impression in the hearts of Julietta?
Aizou: Don’t be so calm about it.
Aizou: Anyway, there will be some topics that require you to get through the crisis splendidly?
Yuujirou: Looks like it.
Yuujirou: And so, first up- Aizou’s assigned theme is this.
10:33
Yuujirou: You are a popular idol. Today is the important final day of your LIVE performance. But, oh no! You have to go to the toilet mid-concert. How would you say a cool excuse so you can go to the restroom?
Yuujirou: No, this might actually happen. I think practicing in advance will not hurt.
Aizou: It might not hurt but that’s something we shouldn’t do!
Aizou: Even so, a cool excuse...
Yuujirou: Have you thought of something?
Aizou: Ah, well…I'll give it a try for the time being.
Yuujirou: Well then, Aizou’s lines that will set fire to Julietta’s heart are in 3, 2, 1…if you please.
Aizou: Everyone. I'm really grateful you came to our LIVE today. Today is the finale so I am deeply touched. Wait, that won’t do. The light of your penlights blurs so much and I can’t see clearly at all. I want to properly see everyone’s faces, so please wait a bit, I’ll go get a towel!
Yuujirou: No, that’s too long!
Aizou: Why!? I did my very best!
Yuujirou: Indeed, it is a more of an enthusiastic speech than I imagined, but-
Aizou: Then you try it, Yuujirou! So you'll know how difficult it was for me!
Yuujirou: Uwah, Don't wanna~
Aizou: Don't say you don't want to!
Aizou: And so, Yuujirou’s assigned theme is this.
11:43
Aizou: You made it into the toilet just in time. But, oh no, there's no toilet paper, but just as you thought of that, there is a person in the cubicle next to you. Lucky. So you won't be found out that you are an idol, coolly take the paper.
Yuujirou: But somehow, it’s connected to Aizou’s theme.
Aizou: Seems like it.
Aizou: But this scenario is more likely than the previous one.
Yuujirou: I mean, us and the one in the scenarios are idols, but the situations are all toilet-themed..what’s going on.
Aizou: *nervous laughter* It's alright, I guess…?
Aizou: Are you going to do it soon?
Yuujirou: Uhmm, one way or another...?
Aizou: Okay. Then, Yuujirou’s lines that will set fire to Julietta’s heart are in 3, 2, 1…if you please.
Yuujirou: I- Hanako-san- Will you become my friend? No? Then, in exchange, can you give me the toilet paper?
Aizou: No- Wai- Wait! Wait!
Yuujirou: *laughing* What?
Aizou: Why Hanako-san!? Isn't that the male's restroom!?
Yuujirou: It wasn't mentioned whether the characters are males or not.
Aizou: But even so...in exchange for not being your friend, to give the toilet paper...
Yuujirou: It's fine as long as it’s not found out I'm an idol, right.
Aizou: Well yes, but- exactly where in those lines are supposed to be the ‘cool’ factor....
Yuujirou: Okay~ Here comes the next one!
12:53
Yuujirou: After using the restroom, you are about to go back to the LIVE; but unexpectedly, there is an alien invasion. Please persuade the extraterrestrial beings who want to take you away, in an exceptional manner.
Aizou: The themes are enigmatic stories…and even *SF has appeared.
[T/N: SF = Science Fiction]
Yuujirou: Sure enough, if you want to aim for greater heights as an idol, you cannot take one or two extraterrestrial beings as captives, okay?
Yuujirou: Aizou, do your best~
Aizou: Stop talking nonsense!
Aizou: Well.. But fine, I’ll see what I can do.
Yuujirou: Then, Aizou’s lines that will set fire to Julietta’s heart in 3, 2, 1…if you please.
13:34
Aizou: Of course, your feelings towards me make me happy. I am glad, but there are people waiting for me. Julietta is waiting for me. That’s why, I’m sorry. I can’t reciprocate your feelings. Ah, but if you’d like, you can come see our LIVE. We will show you that we can definitely capture you.
Yuujirou: Like I said, it’s too long!
Aizou: It’s fine even if it’s long!
Yuujirou: But wait, can cosmic beings communicate with us?
Aizou: If you destabilize such a premise, I’ll be helpless!
Yuujirou: Like you know, communicate with a unique dance.
Aizou: Then, I can’t convey it through the radio!
Aizou: Okay, next! The next is the last one!
Aizou: Just as you thought that the aliens returned back somehow, everything that happened before now was actually a dream. You, who are late for school, make a cool excuse to your teacher.
Yuujirou: The unexpected ‘it was all a dream’ ending!
Aizou: Haha, but an excuse for being tardy is your specialty. You can do it, right?
Yuujirou: It’s not like it’s my specialty. And I’m not late! I make sure I am right on time!
Aizou: Oh speaking of, at the beginning of our LIVE of our movie, you were almost late! Honestly, stop hiding somewhere to sleep after our rehearsals! Searching for you is troublesome.
Yuujirou: You don’t have to look for me. But more than that, can I answer now?
Aizou: Make sure to say an impressive line this time.
Aizou: Then, Yuujirou’s lines that will set fire to Julietta’s heart in 3, 2, 1…if you please.
14:50
Yuujirou: I’m sorry! There was a girl who was lost and crying, so I walked with her to the toilet. Although she goes by the name Hanako-san.
Aizou: It’s the unexpected Hanako-san ending!
Yuujirou: This time is seriously impressive, right?
Aizou: Rather than being impressive, it’s half-hearted! Your excuse will definitely be seen through as a lie in no time!
Yuujirou: It might not be a lie, you know!
Aizou: No, is this corner alright? Did it properly set fire to the hearts of Julietta?
Yuujirou: As long as they had fun, isn’t it fine?
15:20
Yuujirou: And so, that was the “Like a kiss, we want to convey these words to you. A corner in which we set fire to the hearts of Julietta!”
Aizou: This program is ending soon, but once again, how did you feel about the film?
Yuujirou: That’s right. How should I put it, it’s been a long time since the film was announced. So somehow, I feel like, “We’ve finally come this far”.
Aizou: True. Before we knew it.
Aizou: Forming a unit, debuting, and being able to stand in a great stage called FILMxLIVE.
Yuujirou: It’s not something you usually experience, right? Once again, I am glad I took the first step when I saw the audition.
Aizou: Right? This is also for every Julietta who is listening. The things you want or would like to do...you may have a lot of dreams you want to realize. If you are lost, for the time being, I want you to take the first step forward. That’s what I think.
Yuujirou: He’s right. And to think that I rarely agree with Aizou.
Aizou: Don’t say rarely.
Yuujirou: But it is true. That time, I took the step forward because I also wanted to change. And now, the things I want to do keep increasing. I’m really happy with who I am presently, and I really feel that I am blessed.
Aizou: Certainly. But isn’t it difficult to continue doing your best? At times like those, it would be great if we could become an existence that can give strength to Julietta.
Yuujirou: You’re right. Aizou already said it in the interview, but when you are exhausted, please give our songs a listen.
Aizou: Hey, when I sang Kono Sekai no Tanoshimikata, I felt a sort of tightness in my chest. I have a feeling that we were singing it more to ourselves instead. So, I hope it encourages everyone who will listen to the song.
Yuujirou: I get that feeling! The song is perfect for this movie, right?
Aizou: Really, as expected of Haniwa-san.
Aizou: Please take care of LIPxLIP from now on and in the future.
Yuujirou: Please treat us well.
17:06
Aizou: We may be like this, but lastly, do you have anything like ‘I want to do something like this!’ in the future?
Yuujirou: Ah, yeah. Through this movie, I really felt that there are actually many people who support us. We also received a lot of power from everyone’s responses, didn’t we? That is why, with that kind of meaning of repaying gratitude, I want to do more things that will make Julietta happy in the future.
Aizou: And in order to do that, we have to ‘power up’! You and I. But first of all, shall we go together for a run tomorrow?
Yuujirou: I don’t want to! When I run with you, I will be smacked on the back and you will definitely provoke me!
Yuujirou: Furthermore, you don’t go easy on me! Show some mercy; that hurts, you know! Do you understand me?
Aizou: What’s with you. It shows I’m cheering for you! Like, “Hey, do you best!”
Yuujirou: Your help is uncalled for. I have my own pace and I will run by myself!
Aizou: Uwah, you’re not cute at all.
Yuujirou: I don’t want Aizou to think of me as cute.
Yuujirou: More than that, lastly, let’s end this with a message to Julietta.
Aizou: Got it.
Aizou: Thank you for listening until now. Watch the film over and over again, okay? I love you, Julietta!
Yuujirou: I look forward to the day that we can meet you again. I love you, Julietta!
Aizou: And that ends it! This is LIPxLIP’s Aizou and-
Yuujirou: Yuujirou!
Both: Bye, bye!!

Yesterday, I got to see the final chapter in Tom Hardy’s Venom trilogy and for me it had its highlights and its downfalls in my opinion. Before going any further, I will be mentioning some major spoilers, so avoid if you plan on seeing it or haven’t seen it.
Eddie Brock’s development: In the past two movies, we sew Eddie slowly but surely start to get used to the symbiote Venom, however he’s always felt envious of the life he could’ve had with Anne and his successful investigative journalism show and its always reflected to his lack of development. However, we see in the flesh Eddie going out of his way to protect Venom, showing a deep caring side that was refreshing to see come from Brock. As the film progresses, he meets a hippie family on there way to see Area 51 that is closing and throughout the car ride, he spends time with the son and soothes him into believing that aliens aren’t real when he’s scared. We see the intimate moment between the two of how Brock’s father’s instincts kick in immediately, showing a vulnerable side to him.
The way the writers were able to balance out Eddie Brock’s badass side whenever he is kicking the crap out of villians/just horrible people, along with Venom mixed with his sensitive side when talking to the family shows his complexity, compared to Tobey Maguire’s Spider-Man 3 take on Venom, where he is just a one-dimensional selfish reporter who wants to kill Spider-Man after he was the one who cut corners. Anyway, I love the depth that the writers and Hardy gave to Eddie Brock/Venom.
Humor: As usual, Venom’s one liners always make me laugh. The way he can execute his threatening side but also able to be a blunt figure balances out the serious side of Eddie Brock. My favorite line is when the hippie father (Martin Moon) introduces the kids, Venom says “A lifetime of therapy!” I was cracking up in my seat at the theater yesterday. The quips are quick and perfectly timed and allows the audience to really sink into the humor while also being on the run with them. Each line Venom has is distinct, adding to craziness and adventure that Eddie/Venom have to endure. Bonus: Love the bond Mrs. Chen and Venom have. From the way he protects her to the fun they have while dancing to Dancing Queen Remix, it allowed for the zaniness to feel authentic and not forced in. Not sure how they do it, but whenever Marvel characters dance (minus the She-Hulk twerk) it feels like they are genuinely having a great time and wants the audience to feel their enthusiasm.
Connection to past films: If you haven’t watched the first film, then you will be missing a lot in this film as the science lab under Area 51 where we see past symbioses from the first film. How they were able to connect the two films together without having it feel confusing was refreshing and allowing us to slowly remember the subtle details of the ship crashing onto earth and splitting up, wrapping up the details of how they’re weren’t more symbiotes inhabiting humans. Unlike most scientist in films, the scientists of Dr. Payne and Sadie treat the symbiotes with dignity and respect while so proceeding with caution when talking to Mulligan who us inhabited to the green symbiote that bonds with him from Venom: Let there be Carnage. Though I will say, I wish there was more answers to Mulligan’s disappearance and how he was feeling with a symbiote bonding with him instead of brushing it to the side to focus on the symbiote concept.
Downsides: While this was an emotional piece and did cry at the ending, the whole movie felt rushed with at times and character development, outside of Eddie/Venoms relationship felt rushed. It was almost as if the writers didn’t give certain characters time to flesh out and it’s a shame because the characters of Strickland and Dr. Payne had potential, especially with the backstory of Dr. Payne and her grief for her brother when she was struck with lightning that gave her some protection when bonding with the symbiotes while having her witness her brother’s death. There was an element of grief and revenge there that could’ve worked for them and how they each went about those themes. When Strickland’s men are killed while trying to catch Venom and Eddie, there’s a lot of grief he goes through as a soldier. When he learns and tells Payne, the lack of empathy that Payne shows towards him, it sends him over the edge and is on a revenge spree. The level of vulnerability and lack of control he has was something that stood out to me. He’s loyal towards those he’s worked with and would do anything to make sure they get to the other side and when he lost his comrades, he didn’t know how to cope, so he was bloodthirsty on revenge. I would’ve loved to see this development grow overtime in the film, however the way he switches sides when he is saved by a symbiote, it felt rushed and unrealistic towards the character they built him up to be.
Climax: Back to my last highlight, the climax. We got to see Venom and Eddie fight for the last time. The connection they have in unpalatable and having the symbiotes freed in order to fight the creature known as Xenophage, it was badass in my opinion and wish we got to see more of that fighting and teamwork in past scenes vs. just in the climax. However, the emotional scene between Venom, when he realizes he’s going to have to sacrifice himself in order to save everyone is heartbreaking, especially since Eddie was willing to die with him, showing him the heroic part and lack of hope he had for himself, only for Venom to spare him. I teared up as he said “Goodbye for now” showing him that while he’s gone physically, he’ll never leave him and the memories they shared weren’t in vain. It’s devastating to say the least so please take care of yourself if you love Venom!
Ending: Also made me choked up as they went to New York City and while walking, Eddie starts to think about how Venom changed his life for the past year and the newfound confidence he gave him. The final scene of him staring at the Statue of Liberty while remembering Venom is heartwarming as we see the legacy of Venom live on.
Post Credit scenes: They weren’t the best in my opinion. Although, the delivery of “he’s coming for us” as the camera pans up to Knull, was chilling and haunting. You will need to do research, the presence and the delivery made the suspense worth it in the end. However, you will need to do research about who Knull is since he isn’t mentioned much in the film. However, I would leave after that mid-credit scene in my opinion. The post-credit scene doesn’t give us a lot of context as to what will happen to future of the MCU or Venom in general. Wait, Venom might come back however it isn’t given a lot of context and wish there was more to it.
Overall, I had a great experience watching this film!
Bonus: if you go see this film and get popcorn, make sure to get this bucket as it seemed appropriate and it’s a cute souvenir.
