Random Spider-Verse Headcanons for funnsicles?? OKAY

When Gwen found out she was assigned to visit E-1610 to catch the Spot, in the days leading up to the mission, she would go up to Miguel with a list of prepared phrases and sentences to ask him how to say them in Spanish. Her excuse was that they were quips for her to say in an upcoming fight with a Rhino variant that spoke Spanish. Miguel had no idea who Gwen was actually planning on saying them to, but he was pretty sure it wasn't to a villain, since they were all for seemingly friendly conversation. But he complied and taught her the phrases in Spanish. When she went to 1610 as seen in ATSV, Gwen never ended up saying any to Miles because was too embarrassed or scared that she'd get the pronunciation wrong. She left 1610 regretting not using them.

Both Miles 1610 and Miles 42 are very good cooks. They learned from their moms because it was a fun bonding activity to talk about their day and open up about their feelings. They haven't done much cooking with mom since they were 13; that was when 1610 was bitten and 42 began training to be the Prowler. Both Mileses are good, but 42 is the better cook because he usually tries to help his mom by making dinner when Rio has a long night shift.

Sometimes Peni will just walk up to Gwen and stretch her arms out, to signal that she wants Gwen to deadlift carry her by her pits like she's a cat. When Gwen does it, Peni just lets her head hang back and her body go limp like she's dead or smth. Gwen just holds her out like that and goes about her day like normal for half an hour.

Gwen ends up moving out at 18. She rents an apartment in SoHo, Manhattan along with Glory and Betty as her roommates. Gwen and Betty are absolute WILD CRATS when they have the house to themselves. Betty is the instigator and Gwen just shrugs and decides to be complicit in her shenanigans. I'm talking All-Star playing at full blast on the speakers, Betty pulling out the Guitar Hero 10 minutes in, and then they switch ALL the furniture and wallpapers and belongings of each other's rooms around just to mess with Glory. So it's like, the interior design of the room is identical to what it was before, but it's now in an entirely different room of the apartment. What's worse is they'll try to gaslight Glory into thinking that their rooms were always like that. It never works obviously, but Glory is that mature mom friend who just puts up with her friends' antics. So Glory just settles for that being her room now. But then Gwen and Betty do the switch-around AGAIN only once Glory is finally used to her new room. The whole experience is loads of fun but like...dude. Glory can't leave them alone for 2 hours. They all love when E Jay comes over, sure, but Em Jay has a habit of visiting unannounced to present day plans or activities without taking their schedules into account. (I haven't read the Spider-Gwen comics in full so this headcanon is just what I interpret from Spiderverse).

Miles somehow thinks he's 6 feet tall. He doesn't have a specific number, just that he's at least over 6 ft. This is coming from how he drew himself after his growth spurt in ATSV's opening to be almost as tall as Peter B and a head taller than Gwen which is clearly not the case XD. So he basically assumes that everyone else he knows is just really really tall, because all the adults as well as Hobie are like a head taller than him at LEAST.

Gwen pirates/uses emulators for all her video games

there's this thing that keeps happening where whenever someone unfamiliar with the Spider-Band learns that Gwen is dating someone within the group, they never guess that it's Miles. They assume it's Hobie first, then Pav, then they'll just keep guessing everyone. They will think it's Spider-Ham before they think it's Miles. It's not that they think lowly of Miles or anything. It's just that no one ever thinks that he'd be Gwen's type because well, he's just so...*gestures to all of Miles* normal. Like people just assume that Gwen would date someone equally as wild and out-of-this-world as her, like...well, everyone else in the Spider-band. Of course, no one realizes that Miles' normalcy relative to everyone else in Gwen's life is partly why he's Gwen's type.

Back in her dimension, Gwen did this thing where she'd go on long drawling walks through suburban neighborhoods at dusk, staring at the populated houses and the golden windows lit warmly by the life happening inside. Sometimes she'd say aloud to herself, "that'd be nice."

Jess gifts Gwen her motorcycle for her 18th birthday.

Gwen has a green thumb. Miles gifts Gwen plants and they'll come up with names for them together. They take naming their plants very seriously.

One of Hobie's favorite couple nicknames for Miles and Gwen is Bonnie and Clyde, respectively.

Gwen had a BIG Y/N phase when she was a preteen. She had long since left it behind, but In between the events of ITSV and ATSV, while George was out on a late night shift, Gwen for whatever reason followed a strong sudden urge and wrote a new Y/N in one sitting. She immediately deleted it when she was done before George came home, but what she hadn't realized was that she wrote it in his account instead of hers. One day George was clearing out his Recently Deleted, he noticed that draft that he knew wasn't his. He opened it, and what he read was literally just the plot of Baby Driver with Gwen inserted as the main character. He was completely lost on that street artist character Gwen had replaced the waitress with until he met Miles.

Betty is obsessed with legos. That's it.

There's also this running gag where someone will show up with a very specific problem or be in need of something that they highly doubt anyone there can help with. Betty will be in the corner and just chirp that she possesses the exact skill to solve the problem, but she'll go completely unnoticed every time. And like it's not that people are being condescending to her or mean, everyone's just. completely oblivious to the fact that Betty's a polymath

Betty keeps a collection of fortune cookie papers. Every morning when she wakes up, she chooses a different one from the collection and keeps it in her left shoe.

Kim Seokjin

“Don't make fun of me” you pleaded as soon as one of his hands had sweetly cupped your cheek.

His eyebrows knitted together immediately. “Why on Earth would I ever make fun of you?”

“I don't know” you shrugged, “we're always laughing around and mocking each other, so…”

“Yeah, but not for kissing?” his tone sounded almost offended, and to a certain amount he was, for you should know by now he would never do such thing.

“But I've never kissed anyone, meaning I have zero experience and you have” you pouted, “so you'll think I suck at it and–”

“Love” a shiver ran down your spine at the petname he had just called you, “I know we always make fun of each other because that was kind of the dynamics of our friendship” you couldn't help but mirror his smile, “but you have to know I would never take something from the things we get to do now as a couple to make fun of you”.

Taking a deep breath, you nodded your head as you exhaled. Those words of his being enough to trust him with your life. “Okay then” you gave him the green light, at which he cupped your face once more, “but honestly, don't expect me to be any good at it”.

His signature laugh escaped his throat at your words. “You could be the worst kisser in the world and I'd still want to kiss you, so I don't really care”.

And neither did you when you felt his mouth capture your lower lip in between his.

Min Yoongi

“You sure you want me to be your first kiss?” he asked with furrowed eyebrows.

The first time his mouth had been about to collide with yours and you pulled away, he had thought nothing of it. You were nervous, it was normal. But now, by the fourth time? It was fair to say he was starting to get worried.

“Please don't feel obliged to do this if you're not ready, I would never–”

“No, no” you pouted, having his eyes immediately soften at the sight, “I want you to kiss me, I just… I don't know, it's like a reflex…”

Yoongi chuckled, giving his room a quick look around before an idea came to his mind. Not even bothering on letting you know about it, his hand went to your shoulder, gently pushing your body down on his bed, so that you were now laying on your back.

Next thing you knew, he was lying down on his stomach by your side, with his chest pressing slightly against yours.

“You sure about this?” he wondered once again, receiving a small nod from you. “You won't be able to pull back this time, so just tell me if–”

“Min Yoongi” you cut him off with a smile, “just kiss me already”.

And so he happily complied.

Jung Hoseok

“Yah! What's so funny?”

Although he had tried to sound serious, he couldn't help but giggle himself at the sight of the huge smile taking over your face and a little breathy laugh abandoning your mouth.

“Nothing” you tried to control yourself with no success.

“Y/N-ah” his hand was placed softly on your upper arm, “if you're too nervous we don't have to do this”.

“B-but” you tried to stop your laugh for your own sake – finally being able to do so just as he raised one of his eyebrows in expectation. “Hobi” you took one deep breath you much needed, “I want you to kiss me”.

His whole face lit up at the sound of that, not wasting another second to pull you closer to him – his hands loosely resting on your lower back, near your waist.

However, as soon as you felt his breathing mix with yours, you found yourself not being able to stop the giggle already escaping your throat once again.

“No, wait!” you stopped him from pulling away by wrapping your arms around his neck. “Can you just do it even if I can't stop laughing? Or is it too bad?” your uncertain request made him chuckle as he shook his head. “I don't want that to be the reason I don't get to kiss you”.

“It's not bad at all” his eyes stared adoringly into yours for a second; he didn't need any more convincing. “In fact, there's nothing I'd like more” he mumbled quietly before his mouth sweetly connected with yours.

Kim Namjoon

“Are you okay with this?” he asked before he could even lean in to brush his lips against yours like he so badly wanted to.

“Yeah” you replied immediately, “why'd you ask?”

Joon pressed his lips together as he examined your factions, later giving your whole body a quick glance. “You're stiff as a rock” he let you know with amusement clear in his voice.

A defeated sigh left your mouth, for you really had thought you were playing it cool. “I don't… know what to do with my body” you sheepishly admitted, holding up your hands as if to prove a point.

Namjoon chuckled, finding that action of yours to be the cutest of sights. “You don't have to do much” he shrugged, pulling you closer to him by your hips – this time your hands instinctively resting on his chest. “See?” he smiled contently. “Don't think too much about it, just let yourself go and you'll know what to do”.

You took in a deep breath, nodding your head to let him know you were ready.

And when you felt his lips press down on yours and start to slowly move after a second, you understood what he meant by saying you'd know what to do; wrapping your arms around his neck to pull him even closer.

Park Jimin

“You're so cute” he cooed with a bright smile, letting his forehead rest on your shoulder for a second.

“Jimin-ah” you whined, “this doesn't help my situation at all”.

Letting out a giggle, he went back up to your eye level, reaching his hand out to sweetly caress one of your cheeks.

“You don't have to be nervous”.

“Easy for you to say” you huffed, “I just got laughed at for not knowing where to put my hands”.

“Hey, I didn't laugh, I said you were cute” he defended himself, earning a roll of eyes from you. Looking at your lips for a moment, he bit his lower one before he grabbed your hands and placed them over his shoulders. “Just wrap them around my neck, I think I'd really like that”.

“Ohh, kinky” you teased with a raise of eyebrows, being now his turn to roll his eyes.

“I'll just ignore you ever said that” his intense eyes staring into yours made you feel like the whole world had stopped right then, especially when his lips got so dangerously close to yours, “and kiss you like I've wanted to for so long, if that's fine with you”.

Only a nod of your head was needed for his words to be said and done.

Kim Taehyung

“Why are you breathing so funny?” Taehyung asked right before his lips could finally touch yours, making you curse under your breath as you had hoped he wouldn't notice.

“I don't know how else to breathe” you answered sheepishly, not daring to let your eyes make contact with his.

He stuck his lower lip slightly out – a frown adorning his eyebrows whilst he tried to understand why you seemed so nervous. “Are you sure you want me to kiss you? Bec–”

“I do” you replied embarrassingly fast, however, you preferred that over having him think you didn't want him to kiss you. “I really want you to, but I just… I don't know how to…”

He smiled lovingly, without any other word or warning holding your chin up and pressing his mouth ever so tenderly against yours – the kiss not lasting more than a second but that being enough for your heart to flutter.

“Was that okay?” he wondered, opening his eyes slowly to find you nodding your head coyly. “You didn't have to worry about breathing, did you?” his boxy smile took over his face, becoming even wider at the sight of your shining eyes before his lips were once again colliding with yours.

He was right. Why would you even worry about the way you had to breathe when his pure touch took your breath away?

Jeon Jeongguk

“If it makes you feel any better, I'm not very experienced with this either” his soft voice somehow found its way to calm you down.

“It's you though” your words earned a frown from him, asking you to elaborate your point, “you're a natural at everything, so this doesn't really help” you explained, loving the way his shy bunny smile showed up on his face at the unintentional compliment you had just given him.

“Y/N-ah” he said in a lower tone, pulling you closer to him, to the point his lips were slightly brushing over yours, “do you want me to kiss you?”

You snorted, shyly looking away from him. “Isn't that obvious?”

Jeongguk chuckled, cupping your face in his hands. “Don't be nervous then, I want to kiss you just as much” he whispered, taking his eyes away from your lips to lock them with yours for a second. “We'll learn together, yeah? We're a couple now, we can practice as much as we want” a playful smirk curved up his lips.

That was all it took for you to let go of your worries; not even remembering why you had been so nervous about in the first place when his soft lips finally pressed down on yours.

Seokjin:

Seokjin would be nothing but accommodating, especially since the other boys would have the anger down. He’d be the sweet one, making the food, and giving you both tea after dessert. It’s only once the other boys distract you and pull you away from the table that Seokjin’s demeanor changes entirely, and he lets his eyes go black. 

“Hurt her and you’ll pay. Don’t think it’ll just be us. I have other demonic connections too who would love to play with a guy like you.”

Namjoon:

Ha. That’s cute. Namjoon isn’t fond of humanity to begin with, so the thought of another guy lusting after you, even if it’s entirely innocent would make his blood positively boil, especially because your naive innocence didn’t let you see it. But that was alright, he and the rest of the boys would do as they had when you all first met. 

Protect you. 

He’d appear completely genuine, friendly and joyful and that’s what he’d still see the entire time he was there. It was only when your friend woke up, gasping for breath, unable to move a muscle or even open his mouth to scream that Namjoon emerged from the shadows, that same kind smile on his lips as he cocked his head to the side like a dog, curiously taking in his prey’s reactions. 

“Oh sorry, did I wake you? I was taking a deep dive into your desires, making sure your intentions are pure. You’re lucky they are. Just know that if that ever changes, I’ll be waiting. We all will.”

Hoseok:

Hobi would be happy for you, and he’d want to be supportive so he wouldn’t outwardly threaten your friend, much as he may want to. In fact, he’d be the one holding the others back, mainly Jungkook, Jimin and even Namjoon to an extent, though for him it was just a warning to not take it too far. 

He’d let you make the decision, but you bet your ass since you’d brought him over already, if you chose to date him, suddenly the rule they were so keen on about you not bringing guys you liked home would change and they’d want you around all the time.  Hoseok would want to keep a close eye on your new companion.

“Oh your about to go out on your first date? Why not have it here? You know Jin could use the cooking practice!”

Yoongi:

Yoongi would be pissed, and you’d know it the second he laid eyes on your companion. He’d tongue the inside of his cheek, and be dead silent as he glared the poor boy down. Eventually, you’d pull him aside and he’d tell you flat out that the guy liked you and you’d completely brush him off, not believing him which would only make him more irritated.

You even walked away from him when he opened his mouth to keep talking! You never would’ve pulled that shit if this guy hadn’t been there as your Human shield. 

So, he made it his personal mission to get under your skin using him just like you had against him, becoming unusually chummy with him while you were distracted with the others. 

“Yeah, she’s actually really easy to fluster. She’s even easier to get we-” 

You clearing your throat as you glared at him made Yoongi’s night as smirked back at you, only leaning further back into the couch, eyes narrowing in a challenge. “Oh, there she is! The pose I’m in right now is actually one of her fave-” You intervene then, tugging up your friend with a huff and telling him dinner is ready as you leave Yoongi with a warning glare and a mouthed ‘We’ll talk about this later.’

You did meet up afterward, but there wasn’t much talking involved except for your pleading.

Jimin:

Jimin would be angry as well but you wouldn’t know it until he absolutely fucking wrecked you in the bedroom the second the guy left. You were angry yourself after Jungkook’s stunt, and you hadn’t noticed Jimin’s mounting anger throughout the night so you couldn’t help squealing in surprise as he picked you up and carried you to his bedroom despite any protests you made. Unless you said “stop” he would continue, and since you didn’t this was more for show than you actually not wanting him and both of you knew it. 

That just pissed him off more. 

He’d be particularly cruel as his own revenge, using your favorite kinks…only to not let you orgasm and stop before you could get your release. He’d merely smirk as you whined for him. 

“Oh? So now I’m enough for you? You didn’t seem to notice me earlier while your little friend was eye-fucking you across the table.”

His eyes turned black and you cut off your voice before you could finish your sentence in surprise. 

“Finish saying that it wasn’t like that and you won’t walk for a fucking week babygirl, I’ll make damn sure of that.”

Taehyung:

Taehyung would be kind of like Jungkook in that he’d treat it as something fun, but really he was out to prove to you, and himself that this boy was only temporary, even if you didn’t yet know his feelings. He’d intentionally rile you up at dinner, playing with you underneath the kitchen table and restraining your hand when you tried to fight him. He leaned forward to mumble to you, deep voice somehow even lower and more seductive. 

“I’d use your free hand to eat if you know what’s good for you. Unless you want your boytoy to notice your little predicament anyway.” 

A quick glance at your friend as he observed you worriedly made you shoot him a shaky smile and comply, hiding a moan behind a cough as the other incubi shared knowing smiles as you tried to hold it together. 

Needless to say, it was the longest dinner of your life. 

Jungkook: 

Jungkook would love this are you kidding? A man he can flex over how much more he knows about your desires? Sign him up. Oh, he’d be merciless about it too. During dinner, he’d just blurt out. 

“Yeah, so I once made her come for me after only using my words.” 

You’d turn bright red obviously, and he’d snicker as you shouted his name in outrage. 

“Good imitation babe, but it was more like “Ah, Jungkook please I want more~” 

Jin would intervene then and since you were getting genuinely upset, he’d back down for a while after making direct eye contact with the guy who liked you. 

He’d voice his challenge out-loud once he caught him coming out of the bathroom, holding him against the wall by his chest with inhuman strength. 

“We’re better for her in every possible way. A scrawny runt like you could never keep her safe like we can and of course, you’ll never make her feel half as good as we can either.” He’d walk away after that, but he’d still get in the last word as he was about to leave. 

“Did you tell him about all the kinks you-” You’d been planning to walk him out but instead, just as Jungkook planned, you shoved him out and slammed the door with a rushed. “This was so nice and I’m so sorry about them, we’ll talk later, have an amazing night!” 

You’d be annoyed with him for a few days after, but he considered it worth it.
