141 Headcanons: On Holiday

John Price is 100% a dad type. He likes golfing and fishing and sailing. Activities that let him unwind, sometimes make new friends in the shape of other middle-aged men at the country club or at the docks or at the lake. Rents a little cabin by the lake, where you can take a soak or sunbathe, while he goes out with his little fishing boat and try (and fail) to catch something nice for dinner.

Johnny MacTavish is an adventurous type. He likes hiking and camping, stuff that lets him stay busy, and will definitely explore some forest or national park or mountain range. But he also likes fun activities. Music festivals, for example. He'll definitely book you all-inclusive 3-day-long tickets even though there's only one or two artists/bands you want to see, just so you can have that experience and have fun together.

Kyle Garrick is a family lad. His family is big and loving and they book a little trip every year somewhere fun. It might be a new destination, or it might be somewhere they've been before, or maybe somewhere to visit family. But he loves bringing his love along, go do all the touristy things, see all the landmarks, take loads of pictures, try new restaurants and new food, and do cultural things like reading all the plaques on statues and fountains and monuments.

Simon Riley likes peace and quiet. That's the jist of it. Needs it, in fact. So, prepare to rent a little historical cottage in the Cotswold, or maybe a beach condo, or a cabin in the woods. Doesn't matter, what matters it's that it's fairly isolated, with no neighbors to really bother him. He can sleep in late, with no one to force him to do things he doesn't want to do, no schedule to uphold, no people to answer to. He'll roll out of bed at noon, make himself tea and go sit outside and feell the breeze on his skin for once.

Crack headcanons: Beach Day Episode™️

John Price tends to burn, instead of tan, surprisingly. Probably because his uniforms tend to cover him from neck to toes, leaving only his hands and face showing... And if you'd expect his face to be immune to burning, you'd be wrong. Especially because he's terrible at applying sunblock. By the time you notice, his cheeks, nose and forehead are red, and there are white lines around his muttonchops/beard where the sunblock didn't absorb... so he just looks ridiculous.

Johnny MacTavish likes to say he's not English/British... until he goes on holiday to southern Europe and he's suddenly the perfect example of the stereotypical English tourist. Football jersey, denim shorts, socks and slides/sandals, his entire skin is burned to a crisp and red, and, of course, he's wearing the most stupid-looking sunglasses you'll ever see... And then he gets to the beach, takes off his shorts and he's wearing a red speedo.

Kyle Garrick is 100% the type to disappear off his towel while you're sunbathing and, by the time you notice, he's in a completely different side of the beach playing beach paddle ball, beach volleyball or beach football with a group of other blokes or even with little kids. And he does all this while wearing his little cap (but backwards) and while absolutely covered in tanning oil. Does he need it? No. But he likes the feel of it.

Simon Riley would not be caught dead in swimming trunks or a speedo. The man needs full coverage. He's in a wet/surf suit and wearing a facekini WITH his stupid dad sunglasses and, maybe even, a visor. He gets fidgety if he has to sit in his towel for too long so he's also the type who'll go for a walk out of nowhere, down the beach, and, eventually, cross paths with an Asian grandma who's wearing the same exact outfit as him.

he'd get matching underwear with you.

In general he'd be a sucker for clever matching outfits, but nothing would beat wearing the same design of underwear during a night in together with you. 

lounging around only in briefs, he'd melt seeing you appearing with the same minimal amount of fabric on your body.

when lying down with you, are close, thin fabric on thin fabric and the rest of touch being directly skin on skin, he wouldn't be able to avoid glancing down, seeing his sensitive parts matching yours with such conscious intention.

it's not just matching colors or minimalistic designs, he'd feel so much giddy joy seeing some cute designs facing each other, maybe beige underwear with cute little bears on them or silly ducks. 

his favorite would logically be pandas. 

when you're outside, wearing completely different genres of clothes, secretly only underwear matching, he'd feel so proud, smirking at the privat coordination of life, the intimate moment of getting ready together precious to him.

and when it's not a mutual decision, but a coincidence that he discovers when you find your way back to another at night, stripping down to take a shower, he'd throw himself at you with the happiest hug. He just loves finding familiarity in you. 

shopping trips include getting matching underwear. To people's entertainment, you'd probably stand there arguing while holding up random pairs of panties. It doesn't matter what section you're in, men's clothes, women's clothes, who cares. You just want to find the cutest little piece of fabric to add to your collection.

he's such a winter inspiration to me, so I think of scarfs, gloves, and any warm fuzzy clothes. 

he'd wrap you up, put a huge scarf around your neck, carefully put gloves on your painfully freezing hands after he tries warming them with his breath. 

at home, he'd have a large collection of fuzzy socks for you, cute designs and pinterest-y overknee pairs. 

he'd put them on you, pulling them up slowly and once having your feet warm, he'd pull your legs into his lap caressing the soft fabric in such a manner that you could just fall asleep like that. 

especially during stormy winter nights, he'd have you in only a shirt, underwear and overknee socks in his bed beside him. With one arm he'd hold you close and with his free hand, he'd have his palm run up and down your dressed leg to warm and calm you. 

when he's in a playful mood, he'd tuck on the hem of your socks, pulling them up and down, tickling you oh so lightly until you get a bit annoyed at him, because it also means you'd be shifting more of your attention to him. 

🧸 Beomgyu 

matching accessories. Only both of you already wearing a cap when going out together, he'd find it so cool. 

For fancy dinner dates, he'd enjoy matching belts or both of you wearing a tie. 

It doesn't have to be cute or a huge sign of connection, he'd just enjoy feeling good in his clothes and having you match his energy. It gives him an ego boost, assures him of himself and his taste, that he is someone who can be seen as orientation and some sort of role model. 

Having you maybe exploring your style with his in mind, would make him grow more curious of his own possibilities, too. 

It's just fun for him. 

In a more domestic realm, he'd love seeing you wearing matching slippers. You'd just buy a 2 for 1 set. It's practical and lets him feel like he's truly living life together with you. 

On more serious occasions he'd aim for jewelry, bracelets or necklaces with matching charms, little engravings, such as each one half of a sentence. 

On dates he'd love handcrafting colorful pieces with you, bold pearls and cotton candy coloured strings braided into memories of carefree moments with you. They're his lucky charms and he feels even luckier when he sees you wearing them with the same enthusiasm. 

🧸 Taehyun 

simple, yet impactful having-you-wear-his-shirt-type-of-guy 

whether it's at home or outside, he loves seeing how you make his clothes look like. 

he lets you pick shirts for him, having in mind that you would wear them, too.

sometimes you like to mess with him, suggesting shirts you know he wouldn’t like, silly ones, immensely cute ones or extravagant shirts with attached bows. He’d sigh, shake his head, but go back to the store by himself from time to time to get the shirt, having you find it in his closet. 

he’d go full out when you ask him to give you a private fashion show, throwing all his silly poses into the room, gifting the pieces of fabric a whiff of his energy that makes you giggle whenever you wear the shirts. 

when it’s about his personal favorite shirts he’s be a bit reluctant at first, but when he sees you treating them with such care, not eating in them to keep them stain free, wearing them truly when you need to be just a bit closer to him, making the feeling of having company in life more present, he’d gently help you get dressed in his clothes.

he’d have his hands linger on you, smoothing out the fabric on your body, automatically caressing in a calming manner. 

all of it is just something that would happen alongside daily happenings. It’s nothing deeply thought through, but casual joyful endearments between you.

his main intention not being that it's cute, but that it's simply practical. 

Why would you buy hoodies and such, when he could open his own store with the amount of pieces he has? 

however, once you start returning them to him, one by one, with your scent on them, he'd start melting, adoring the routine he carelessly introduced. 

giggly, kicking his feet, falling asleep in them, wearing them in situations that stress him out, make him feel anxious, he'd start relying on shared clothes. 

some hoodies become destined to be your clothes of sadness, catching his and your silent tears. Whenever he finds a wettened hoodie you were currently wearing discarded on your bed, he'd search for you to hold you. 

when he silently drowns his sadness in the mixture of his hoodie and your scent, you'd know when he throws it into the washing machine. 

hoodies become a way of communicating hard feelings with another.

Big fckn redesigns here. Well mostly Charlie but Vaggie somewhat too 🥰🥰

Blue fits Charlie soooo much and I cease to see that many redesigns with this color. I still want red to be used in most of their designs because well. They are in hell, but not too present so to make way for other unique colors. Charlie has several physical traits from her parents but also she has some details in her clothes that match with them. When I uhh, introduce their designs you'll see lmao. I also tried to make her have a more roundish design, I jst LOVE those typ of designs omg. I just want the characters with not too many sharp corners pls Viv bro... 😔 oh yeah she's mixed cuz her mom's are darker in their redesigns. Alot of their genetics went down to Charlie so she doesn't look like an exact copy of Lucifer, I kind of hate that trend with hh and hb characters, like did the moxxies dad give birth to him bro 😭 also I kept her bow because it looks so cute and silly on her it just fits, I wish they made it bigger in her show design because it would fit her silliness so much. She has a cape with stars because morningSTAR smh why didnt they do something fun with that, missed potential but whatevs yknow I still love og designs no matter what anyone sayss. The wife ever. I had animation in mind more when I designed her, not like in a "How easy or hard would this be to animate" way. But I like to imagine when she's shocked her hair kind of fluffs out plus her actual fluff, when she's mad her bow turns into kind of horns and then her jacket expands like wings. Gave her a more hotel like outfit, she likes to work for fun (ew). Her socks are socks but she has some fluff under them she just tries to cover it up because she hates herself 🤪 (she doesn't hate her bigger body she actually feels much more comfortable chubby than when she was skinny with Adam. She was burdened with the weight of Adam's image of women... In this sorta rewrite she gained weight when she goes to the hotel because she's more happy. I'm dying I love chub Vaggie so much guys please) headcanon: she kind of likes fashion, it's like a fun hobby of hers to stitch together clothing and go out and buy clothes she'll never wear. She taught Charlie how to stitch and she SUCKS so you can jst see it on Charlie's pants.

Second outfits! Charlie's hotel uniform for. Well. Hotel stuff. She usually only wears it when new people come to the hotel, which.... isn't often, if at all. She still likes to keep it just in case. Also she goes really cartoonish when it happens, she does the looney tunes run and changes into her clothes in like 2 seconds. Can you see my vision? 😭😭

Vaggie's is in her armor. She has several pairs of armor lying around in the hotel in completely hidden spots. It's kind of surprising uhh. Yeah she wears it alot more than Charlie wears her alt uniform but still rare to find her in it. I don't get the whole thing with the exterminators and them not being able to fight according to Carmilla. Which is kinda stupid, I'm not gonna lie. So, instead of that, Vaggie has just let her guard down and has gotten much more comfortable in her surroundings so she feels like she doesn't need to fight anymore, she's just gotten rusty 's what I'm sayin. I have no idea how to draw armor. You can tell...

BABY CHARLIE!!! With the heads of my redesigns for Luci, Eve, and Lillith. Haha you still cant see them. Uhh, ill definitely finish the thing one day. Its not even that big of a project thing, i think i jst keep going to other drawings so im like not focusing on one thing lmao. Lucifer has heterochromia because he was cursed to forever be reminded of his betrayal. I only explained that because Charlie has it too, it's kind of a curse on the entire blood line where at least one eye is red. This is like. Slightly older Charlie than the baby Charlie in show? These past few months I can’t help but ponder the demon brothers’ sock-wearing habits, especially for sleep. So here are some of my notes!

Lucifer: Old man vibes old man socks, through all seasons except summer because it might get too hot.

Mammon: One that changes depending on the temperature, cold means sock and vice versa. Although I do think that he’d get those really thick and fluffy ones to match his hair.

Levi: Going with the entire “reptiles are cold-blooded” thing, socks. All day everyday and season, he needs all the warmth he can get. Probably gets ones with his favorite characters on it but never wears them for preservation purposes.

Satan: No socks all year round but is someone (you/mc) gifts him a fair of cat ones he’s either going to try and preserve them or wear them until they have holes.

Asmodeus: Given that his preferred outfit for sleep is just… nude I’d say no socks. Unless if he wants to tease a shy mc, maybe something along the lines of: “Oh don’t be so shy mc, darling. I’m not completely naked now am I?~”

Belphie: I’d say that Belphie really doesn’t have much of a preference. He’s the demon of sloth and he is a professional in every aspect. Although I do imagine him sleeping with inly one sock to get a better temperature range when sleeping.

Beel: I can see him wear really fluffy socks like Mammon but otherwise nothing out of the ordinary. Will try to eat the socks with food patterns.

I’m not too sure about the dateables but Solomon’s definitely giving old man vibes and I dan see him getting socks with funny patterns. Maybe Luke also wears them because he’s scared of the monsters under his bed nipping at his feet.

I am staunchly against wearing socks to bed... I like to be FREE lol. (To this end, I also don't wear pants. It's all oversized t-shirts for me.)

Anyway, I totally see Lucifer as a sock wearer. I mean, we had that whole saga in the daily chats about his missing socks. You can't tell me that old man doesn't cherish his socks. So I fully agree with you on that one lol.

I was under the impression that Mammon also sleeps in the nude? I think there was a daily chat where he said he only wears Devilish No 5 to bed which is a freakin' perfume. He's such a dork but for some reason that makes me love him more. But I also think that Mammon likes to be comfortable, so I think he'd wear socks (and possibly other pjs) if it was cold. Also you know I don't think he could handle sleeping nude with MC (at least not at first) and I also think he often sneaks into MC's bed. So therefore I tend to imagine him as being one of those pajama pants and tank top types. So I think he would absolutely wear socks if it was cold.

YES to cold blooded Levi always!! If they had animal forms and Levi could become a lil snake I think it'd be SO CUTE if he just curled up inside a sock. I'd carry him around in his little sock in my pocket all day tee hee~ But anyway, I very much think that he's always cold and needs socks all the time. If he's in demon form, he should have a tail sock too.

Oh, Asmo. Definitely only wearing socks in order to tease MC, I agree with that 1000%. I mean you could wear socks if you sleep nude I suppose, but I think Asmo would prefer to go sockless in such an instance.

I don't know why, but I kinda headcanon Beel as being naturally very warm. Just absolute furnace. So I see him not really wearing socks to bed. Though I like the idea of him wearing fluffy ones because that is super cute lol.

Barbatos for some reason strikes me as a no socks type. I don't know why. But he also needs a tail sock because wow that would be so adorable I think I'd combust. He would only wear something like that if MC got it for him, though, I think.

I think it could go either way with Simeon. I think he's probably one of those who wears socks depending on the weather. If he's cold, he puts some on. If he's not, he doesn't. It just makes sense.

I agree about Solomon and the patterned socks. I think he'd find that amusing. I would try to find him socks that have pact mark patterns on them because I personally would find that absolutely hilarious. This is because I have a terrible sense of humor, but I think he'd indulge me and wear them lol.

Leo:

I only changed a few things about Leo, because I generally liked the design, there were just a few things that irked me.

The outfit- I liked my previous outfit for Leo, but it didn't feel like something he'd wear everyday. Casually, maybe. I took inspiration from the episode Air Turtle and instead went with a basketball jersey (bc he plays basketball in my human au) the skinny jeans stay, bc he's a whore.

The hair- I originally did blonde tips on his hair, but decided I liked the brunette better. The blonde also are his face look really busy when paired up with the vitilago for his eye markings. I did however color his front two little strand thingies red to mimic his eye markings.

Donnie:

Donnie changed quite a bit from his original design, ill add the og design for reference.

Okay so-

The outfit- I kinnnnda hated his og outfit. The neon green shirt is a massive eyesore, the khaki shorts. Just no. I kept of the Atomic Lass shirt, but made it purple instead, to better match Donnie's color palate, and went from tan shorts to black cargo pants. I feel like Donnie needed more pockets to carry stuff in, and it looks better, from a fashion standpoint. I also gave him demonias bc duh.

The hair- I swapped him from locs to an afro for a few reasons. One, the reason I dont draw eyebrows is bc I draw eyes so comically large that they just don't fit on the face, and I wanted Don to have his trademarked brows, so I picked a hairstyle that covers his eyes, and allows space for dem brows so he can still emote. Also with a less detailed style I was able to add his goggles without it looking too busy.

Mikey:

Ive kind had a vision for Mike since the beginning. I wanted him to wear something versatile he can move around in easily, but also something colorful and fun to match his personality.

The outfit- I wanted something artsy and fun, but also light. So I picked a cropped hoodie (ik its a vest with an undershirt in the pic; I changed it after taking it) and a pair of shorts and a cool belt. I feel like Mikey is definitely a fun socks guy, so I gave him some striped socks with the turtles' colors on them.

The hair- so in case it doesn't show in my art, Mikey's hair is supposed to be a frohawk type deal- kinda like this

I picked this bc I just thought it looked cool when I was experimenting with drawing different hairstyles.

Ive been putting off drawing Raph, bc I dunno why, but no matter what I do, he also comes out looking....... Questionable.

Extra Note- I changed my human au comic to a fic because: one, I don't have the time or energy to draw a comic. Two, I like to get detailed with my writing and you can't do that with a comic.

I love the idea of jade in a maid dress! Definitely feel like long skirts fit him more too, I feel like Floyd would wear a shorter skirt with a maid dress. Bit nsfw, of the twst cast who would wear a more slutty maid dress and who would wear more modest ones? (Sorry if this doesn’t make sense English is not my first language)

Funny part about it is that Floyd would wear a short skirted maid outfit not to be sexy but because it's easier to move in. His boxers would show and they clearly don't match the maid outfit. Let's see, let's see.

Alright, so Rook is of the unique variety where, no matter the length of the maid outfit's skirt, he'd always make it feel slutty one way or another. That's just within his power. Oh and obviously he's not wearing anything under.

Vil would 100% wear a maid outfit with a long skirt. He needs to be classy, but his main focus would probably be what goes on under that skirt. Wouldn't shock me if he prepared lingerie under all that fancy wear.

Leona... yeah no, he cannot make it sexy. He's the kind of man that wears the short skirted maid outfit, but refuses to take off his pants. You want to see up his skirt, you have to work for it. That's if he's in the mood.

Malleus is another maid with the long skirt and long sleeves. He has little clue in maid play and actually ends up cleaning your things because he gets too into the zone. He will break things though. Really gotta walk through the steps of what's fun for you because if you point him in one direction, he will march nonstop towards it.

Azul I feel would be another long skirted individual, with the maid dress being real puffy. Lots of ruffles all around. Looks real warm to wear in the winter time.

Epel I think would go for the mid route and have a knee-length skirt. Doesn't want his underwear to show, but also doesn't want it to be too long. He'll trip over it! Also Vil would make him wear that frilly headdress that comes with the maid outfit.

Riddle's maid outfit would be above the knees that's because he's always so busy. He's real flustered about wearing one, obviously, but eventually ends up forgetting he's wearing one at all if he's busy enough. It's funny to remind him that wearing the thing and watch him turn red all over again.

Ace and Deuce both wear short skirts. Depending on their mood and what they're feeling, Ace will probably go all out and wear those thigh high socks with garter belts just to mess with the onlooker, while Deuce goes for a more sweet route and wears ankle socks and cute mary janes shoes. Both are wearing briefs.

Jack, at first, wears the shorter skirt for ease of movement, but ends up switching to a thin long skirt instead. But the sleeves must be short. Does not want long sleeves. He thinks he doesn't fit this style at all, being so big and buff. So he always ends up looking grumpy and embarrassed.

Idia's a long skirt wearer and will be mumbling about the aesthetics of the maid outfit under his breath and how it has to be this specific way because short skirts are for the degenerates that do not appreciate the classics. You know, classic "I'm better than the rest of you normies, because if I'm not, I literally have nothing." Idia.

Lilia... short skirt as his present version, long skirt for his General days. Lilia would wear those huge chunky gothic lolita shoes even though he likes to float half the time. Would do some stylish rips in the apron and probably add a little color here and there.

Silver is a long skirted one, long sleeves too. Has an overly decorative headdress that's basically a bonnet. Does not suit him. Clearly made by Lilia with whatever flowers he found, yarn that he found nice, and colorful glittery streamers and bedazzled as well. Silver got the multi-layered skirt purely because it's comfy.

Sebek's is also long, but he got it a little too long so he ends up ripping it or tripping over it as a result, especially when he gets into another Malleus rant. He walks so stiffly too, which does not help his balance.

Loraine Hawks is my MC. She is 23 years old and is the new seventh year (to understand why, read the opening notes of my fanfic). She lost her parents in a fire when she was just a child, so she barely remembers them.

When the fire happened she was taken to a psychiatric hospital where she stayed until she was thirteen, when she was finally picked up by her aunt and uncle. Due to post-traumatic stress Loraine doesn't remember anything about the mental hospital she was in (I haven't mentioned any of this in the fanfic yet, anyway I'll explain it better when the time comes). She lived with her aunt and uncle in a house on the outskirts of a small village in the south of Scotland where she was abused from the beginning, she was also abused by her uncle's friends and her aunt never did anything about it.

A woman in the village taught her to read, write and educated her as much as she could. She also wanted to adopt her, but her uncle never allowed it. She tried to escape several times, but her uncle always managed to find her and the punishments got worse, so she finally gave up.

One day a silver-haired stranger came to the house, claiming to be a Hogwarts professor and that the Ministry had set their eyes on her. The rest in my fanfic :)

It's her favourite season! She loves the colours, watching the leaves fall and most of all: food! She loves sweets more than anything in the world and roasted chestnuts.

With Fig:

They would probably take a walk through Hogsmeade first. The first day Fig took Loraine to Honeyduckes she almost fainted at the sight of so many different sweets. She had taken so few in her life, that day she took too much and ended up with a tummy ache. Anyway, she knew better than to overindulge in sweets, so she would simply buy a few for later and continue strolling around Hogsmeade.

They would end up at the Three Broomsticks drinking butterbeer in the staff room for privacy where they would sit by the fire. They would probably talk about their adventures, though Loraine would rather listen to him.

With her friends:

With Sebastian and Ominis she would be talking in the Common Room, challenging each other to see who can eat the most sweets without throwing up. Of course that idea was proposed by Sebastian.

With Poppy and Natty, she would spend the afternoon strolling around Hogwarts petting every creature they come across.

Although she doesn't usually spend much time with Amit, Loraine thinks he's a very interesting and weird boy, in a good way! She enjoys listening to him talk in Gobbledegook.

She doesn't usually play pranks, but it would probably be by rearranging some of the things Fig normally uses.

It doesn't matter if she wears gloves and two pairs of the warmest socks: her hands and feet will always be ICE COLD.

Cotton candy! As I said before, Loraine loves sweets (as long as they are not spicy), but cotton candy is her favourite.

She doesn't usually have time to read, but if she did, it would be a horror book like Dracula or Frankenstein. She loves Muggle books.

Really disastrous. She's never done that before so watching Loraine carve a pumpkin would be like watching a horror movie. But Fig is teaching her ♡.

Breakfast. Loraine doesn't eat much, but at breakfast she's always very hungry. Is it the most important meal of the day anyway. She always wonders how it is possible that Fig barely has a coffee when she needs much more than that to be able to face the day.

It is rare for her to have traditions, as she has never celebrated autumn as such.

She was very impressed, but not really scared. She always wondered why some people die and may be ghosts, but others are really gone forever.

She would probably panic and have an anxiety attack. Because of what happened previously in the house with her aunt and uncle, she suffers a lot when she finds herself in a place from which she does not see a clear way out.

The heat just gives her a headache, so she prefers cold weather. If it's cold you can always put on a jumper, a scarf and a coat, or take a blanket and snuggle up to the fire. But the most comforting feeling of all is when Fig takes her hands in his to warm them up, who needs gloves?

She likes horror movies, but is the type of person who complains when the main characters act stupidly.

She definitely prefers easy-going plans. She already has too much action with errands, adventures and saving the world from Ranrok. She just wants to relax, maybe watch a horror movie with Fig (although he doesn't like them at all, he loves watching her get angry at the main characters), with a hot chocolate and some sweets. Maybe make love in between.

She would get very frustrated and try to throw books or whatever at him, but they would go through Peeves' body and he would mock her. And then she would get even angrier.

It doesn't really scare her, but going to the cemetery is something that really bothers her, as she lost her parents in a fire and there is no grave where she can bring flowers.

She has never believed in superstition.

She would have such a hard time that she would end up with an anxiety attack as her aunt and uncle used to lock her in the basement as punishment. She still can't get over her fear of the dark.

She would be wearing a vampire dress, matching Fig's Dracula costume.

31- How does your MC spend Halloween?

It will be her first Halloween so Loraine would be very nervous. She will spend the morning, with Fig's help, choosing the most appropriate costume for her first Halloween. It's not that she doesn't enjoy the company of Ominis, Sebastian, Natty and the rest of her friends, it's just that Fig is the only one she feels completely comfortable with and she prefers to spend time with him, as he's always busy.

She would have lunch with Ominis and Sebastian, and then play some harmless pranks (Sebastian's idea) on Ominis. In mid-afternoon she would return to Fig's office, because he had promised to carve pumpkins with her, as she had never done it before. Of course Fig's pumpkin carving is a work of art, but Loraine's would look like a child's handiwork. Fig wouldn't be able to hold in his laughter and she would blush, but in the end she would end up laughing too.

Loraine will then attend the Hollows Eve Ball. As I mentioned above, she won't be dancing with anyone. However that doesn't mean she won't enjoy the night, there is food, drink, and sweets everywhere! She would really enjoy seeing the costumes that her friends will be wearing, even the teachers! Fig's Dracula costume would be quite a surprise for her. Sometimes he brings out his rascal side. Between fleeting glances with him, she would know that they would dance together later at a special place he had already thought of.

I'm sitting at a beautiful wedding. It's been a long but really nice day. My feet hurt a lot but I think it's from the texture of my socks? Unsure. I'm still very unsure about what shoes to wear to work these events. I like a tappy sounding shoe because it makes me feel powerful but then my feet hurt so bad I think I'm going to die. Fashion is so hard.

Today was also just a very long day. Not bad at all, but long. I tried my best to get lots of rest before hand but I slept horribly last night. So I am a bit tired. I was tossing and turning all night. I couldn't get comfortable. I was either to cold in front of the fan or to hot when I turned it away from myself. So it was not a very restful sleep.

I had set my alarm for 930 but by 9 I couldn't even doze properly. James would come and lay with me but I was still to hot and did not feel comfortable at all. I did like being held but also. Man why can't I regulate my temperature.

James would make the bed when I got up. And then went and made me an omelette. They made biscuits for us again. I would take a longer then normal shower and washed my hair and it helped me feel a little more normal. I wasn't sure about my outfit. I like this knit skirt and tank top but I don't feel comfortable having my shoulders out at work normally. So I also brought a wrap shirt. And it's a very good outfit and I felt really cute.

I went downstairs to eat breakfast with James. It was just a quiet morning together. I cut and painted my nails. They were such a nice length but they kept bending backwards and hurting me so it was time. I tried to make them pretty.

Eventually I would go upstairs to lay in bed. And James would come join me and we watched our own videos next to each other. I didn't want to be leaned on because I was feeling kind of bad. I did wait until after breakfast to take my vitamins and while I didn't throw up I did not feel amazing. Laying still was the best thing I could do.

At noon we went downstairs and started getting ready to go. James was going to go kayaking and get groceries and wait for me at the museum for when I got there.

And I was going to art with a heart. First BAS class of the season. I was really looking forward to it. And it would be really nice to see returners and meet new people. And it was nice seeing Mary Ellen and Naomi. We had fun.

The project was an accordion book about your favorite things. And it was a really popular project. Lots of free drawing. While the teens like it I think the adults liked it a lot more. I did feel bad when a parent in the teens class kept apologizing that her son couldn't draw things, just scribbles. And I was like no!! He is happy and having a good time it doesn't matter what he actually makes. Next week we are going to try her leaving for the hour and Naomi or me sitting with him instead. He has an AAC device so he can communicate which is such a huge thing. Mary Ellen told us today her daughter, who is also mostly nonverbal, recently learned how to text and so now she can actually talk to her and I am just beyond happy for them. Like she's almost my age and she's actually able to tell her mom all of her thoughts. That has to feel amazing.

The class was fun though. It's nice when everyone is just focused but then I don't 100% know what to do with myself. So I chatted with Naomi and Mary Ellen and some parents. During the adult class too. I told a few people that I'm pregnant and that I may not be available for their winter and spring classes but we'll cross that bridge when we come to it. I hope I can do the winter one because it's in February but we'll see!!

We finished up right before 3. And once we locked down the building I was off. Heading the museum. Where James promised me a chocolate bar and a pink drink from Starbucks. Love my husband so much.

It has been a really nice night. Even if my feet hurt. I was surprised that Kelly was here! She's the Manager for the catering tonight, which has been excellent. And Jesse would hang out until 530 which was nice of him. Just made sure everything was good to go before he headed home. And I feel pretty good about everything. It's just practice. And this is a really easy wedding. 80 people. Lovely lovely couple. And since Kelly worked here for years she knows everything and I don't have to worry about to much.

The bride was absolutely beautiful. A pretty princess in a green gown. Just beautiful. And all their guests have been really nice. Her dad looks like Manny Patinkin, which is lovely because they are playing The Princess Bride in the movie theater all night. So sweet. We couldn't figure out how to make it auto repeat the film so I have had to go check on it a few times. We are on its 3rd viewing now.

I stayed outside to help direct guests to the wedding. Held the stragglers until the bride walked down the aisle. And it was a beautiful ceremony. Mo, the security guard, was like how can their vows be ten minutes. And I'm like you couldn't tell your lady why you love her for ten minutes? Weak.

The appetizers were great. I know I'm not really supposed to eat soft cheese but the brie with green apple and hot honey on French bread was so stinking good. I also had two fried green tomatoes with balsamic and some fried cauliflower with buffalo sauce. The actual vegan dinner option, ratatouille, was not my thing. I tried it but I just did not like it. Ah well. I brought an apple and yogurt so I wasn't hungry.

It's been a nice night though. I did a little knitting. A little chatting with catering. I made a print for the couple to take home and they were so surprised and grateful and that was really nice. I struggled to get it to print right too so I was really glad it worked out in the end.

The groom just came by and he gave me one of the comic books he made! He was like this is so lame but I made this to give to people I don't get to see much and I was like that's not lame at all!! I think it is really cool! I'll make sure to tag him on Instagram.

The party has another hour. I hope to finish this one knit panel. I am so very behind on that blanket. But that's okay. I will get it done eventually.

Tomorrow is me and James's two year wedding anniversary. And we are hoping to go to DC. I hope I am feeling okay enough to do that. I would love to just spend the day with my husband. I love them so much.

5. What's the first song that comes to mind when you think about them?

OKAY SO A DANIEL SONG. I'm cheating and mentioning two. They're both songs I believe Daniel himself would listen to but that's not just it obviously. The first is, literally, "Daniel" by Elton John. This is self explanatory - I think of him because that's his name! It's also a tender, platonic yet loving song full of yearning for connection, and Daniel has always been a character who lives in my heart and resonates with me since childhood, so.

The second song is "Vienna" by Billy Joel. The first line in that song is "slow down, you crazy child!" It's a sobering song about rushing in and loading yourself with your dreams and ambitions rather than living your life. It resonates with me personally but also makes me think of Daniel, especially in The Karate Kid Part III and in Cobra Kai, where he seems to feel out of place in the narrative and with his life choices, doing what he thinks he's supposed to be doing and trying to be perfect. Daniel doesn't like to be a problem and wants to solve all the problems, but he becomes a problem when he neglects himself and fails to grasp at balance while trying to Go Go Go, always an issue for him despite how much he takes Mr. Miyagi's lessons to heart. But "Vienna," or balance, is always waiting there for him to achieve, and he always will, eventually.

This one threw me at first, since all I could think about was modern fashion that felt out of place for him no matter what age Daniel we're talking. However I soon abandoned that image haha.

I remembered what he wore in The Karate Kid Part II to the sock hop with Kumiko and went Aha! I always liked that outfit, and assumed it was purposefully similar to some outfits Elvis wore in the 50s. So, because of that, and because Daniel canonically wears Mr. Miyagi's shirts sometimes, I think fun, colorful or slightly risqué (for the era lol) 50s fashion would work great for him. I think that suits his build and personality! I don't quite have a name for it but really anything - NORMAL - that Elvis wore, like:

What’s the most romantic thing they’ve done for their partner?

This answer is subject to change, but as of now (end of B3), Yael would say that the most romantic thing she has done for Nate is rushing in to help him against the Anunnaki in the fight at the start of Book 3. Because of obvious reasons, she wouldn't tell Nate she thinks this. She suspects he would mention her adjusting her running schedule in order to run into him. As much as she tries to make it seem like a coincidence, she's quite sure he's caught on (he totally has). (In reality, he would say the first time she used a pet name for him.)

When thinking about romantic things Nate did for her, there are so many that come to mind. She would likely mention the mirror Nate got her for her room at the warehouse (from this fic). It shows he pays attention to her, to what she likes, and that he wants her to feel at home in this place that is also his.

Iggy: basically comfy all the way, nothing complex, nothing too tight, he doesn't really care much about how he looks, loves layers, loves hoodies, wears the same hoodie every day for weeks on end, LOVES socks, big comfy socks... cushy socks...

Genzou: he cared a lot about looking snazzy and cool in high school but then kinda went the opposite afterwards and mostly looked like a slob for a while, since then he's now gone up to somewhere in the middle, he wears a lot of practical easy-to-move in stuff that doesn't matter if it gets messy while in the shop, likes to dress up looking a bit swanky on the off-chance he's going out to dinner or to a bar or something tho, like sports jacket type stuff

Orlam: current RL orlam has no motivation when it comes to fashion, hence his extremely plain wardrobe, he loves suits tho and in his mind would love to wear different types of fun suits every day, he dreams of looking very suave and professional, he's the type that would wear suits without socks, in his prime he'd probably wear a suit to the beach, if not wearing a suit he'd love a snappy sports jacket, i see him donning sunglasses, too

Gidget: tho opting for basic comfy clothes when at home, really enjoys putting together fun outfits for when they go out, i see them as dressing quite uniquely in a way that might make you say "oh that's interesting" but in a way that you're kind of in awe of and that just looks rather suave and fun

In a Blink and You Can't Get Hurt by the Things You Don't Know are the only two fics of mine that are named after lyrics from songs from the actual game (in a blink being the more obvious one lol. the latter's name comes from My Heart Feels No Pain).

The End of the Rockstar's title comes from the song Popstar by New Hollow (which is also where the first chapter's title comes from). actually, the whole of the Escapism AU is inspired by that song

originally, in chapter 5 of TEOTRS, chai was actually going to go to the scrapyard and leave cnmn there.

Lightning in a Bottle is named after a song by Watt White. it was originally called Undead Lullaby (named after a song by JT Music), before i changed it because that original title didn't really fit with what the au is actually about, seeing as chai isn't undead, just a demon

the first chapter of Lightning in a Bottle was going to essentially be 2 chapters in one, lining up with how i personally like to play through hfr's tracks (if i don't have time to do more, that is) (i play them in sets)

If your talking about outfits I'll give you those but of your talking about of a specific artstyle I can't really figure it out

Time: he's more business casual at work but dresses a lot more dad like at home, the more kids they adopt the more fun his clothing gets

Twilight: he dresses in flannel and jeans. Doesn't matter the weather. His pelt is also part of a flannel

Warriors: he likes to dress up a bit, he'll look in times closet for inspiration and if he likes an outfit he'll recreate it but in his style. The only thing that stays constant in his wardrobe is his scarf

Sky: has a lot of comfortable clothing. Anything he can sleep in he wears. Hoodies, sweatpants, fuzzy socks. He doesn't like looking fancy, especially since he has a lot more freedom in his clothing now that he doesn't need to wear a uniform

Legend: he thrifts a lot of clothes and has an interest in vintage fashion. He really enjoys the punk rock era but also has a soft spot for the colors of the 80s, he mixes the two. He has a 6th sense for deals and wears a ton of the stuff you'll find in clearance bins

Four: doesn't have a clear inspiration and just wears anything he wants depending on how he feels

Wind: has a lot of tropical clothing and wears a lot of shorts. If it's too cold out he normally just wears pajama pants since he doesn't like being restricted to form fitting clothes. Hates jeans and will not wear them under any circumstance

Wild: he can wear anything and somehow pull it off. He doesn't really style his hair but will go on shopping trips with legend to find clothes he likes. His only requirements is that they need to be durable and flexible so they can get through his normal day of moving around a lot

Hyrule: like Legend he wears a lot of thrifted clothes. He doesn't really care about his wardrobe enough to build it to the extent of some of the others so he enjoys a nice capsule wardrobe of his favorite clothes (sticking to a theme of red green brown and blue)

Malon wears skirts, jeans, and nice tops or flannel (Twilight Inherited her sense of style)

Ravio is like Legend but the colors are more on the cool colors and darker spectrum. Think purples and navy blues.

How do you wish Fabio styled his outfits

hi anon! sorry for the delay 😅 I really love this question! I'd like to start by saying that he has a lot of nice outfits that I liked, not everything is bad & that he's a professional athlete, not a model/stylist/fashion influencer. he has fun with his clothes, which is the most important thing ☺️

that being said, when I said he's not styling his clothes, especially his summer outfits, it's because he often wears them like they are displayed and isn't really adding anything. for example, I love when he's wearing jewelry, it makes it more interesting. he sometimes makes some questionable associations and bought questionable pieces of clothing 😅 (and did fashion crimes but that's hiw you learn)

his main issues for me are proportions (especially for summer outfits and shorts because I'm a Fabio-looking-fluffy-in-oversized-hoodies absolute lover, I could do an entire post) and his lack of 'global vision': he doesn't wear them to look 'stylish' but not to be totally naked — which is more than valid! also, sometimes the pieces by themselves are nice but they don't work together because the colors/fabrics/vibes don't match.

so to go next level, there are a few things he could do:

his issue with proportion is obvious on these outfits:

-> for the first 2 (not really his fault, it's on D&G): this is exactly how they were on the website, the shirts are either too short or too long and way too big and oversized, making them shapeless.

-> the shorts are too oversized, the shoes are a bit out of place + the fabric really doesn't help

-> for the one on the right, the t-shirt is fine and would look good with jeans, but these shorts aren't it, they should be smaller (tighter and shorter too imo)

these are styled outfits with shorts and good proportions and fabrics:

shorts (no matter the length or if they're wide or not) are fun to style as long as you use proportions:

-> hips length for the shirt/jacket is the longest it should be or like on the 4th one, longer shirt/jacket over small shorts.

-> the right shoes because they're part of the look. on these 4 outfits, they bring something: reinforce the vibe he created and/or color

-> socks, they are really important because they're the link between the short and shoes. [you can check Zhou Guanyu's outfit for the Azerbaijan Grand Prix last year, funny socks made the outfit so much better]

-> the bags and accessories add something too, it makes the outfit look complete. each time, the bag choice fits the vibe. this is why I love Fabio's jewelry, it always make everything look nicer.

-> and the choice of colors is really important, they need to work together. on the 3rd one, the collar detail and its color are super important. some outfits with flash colors can look really good, but in general, it's better to turn it down a little with neutrals because it makes the flash color pop even more.

these outfits have a vibe, a global vision, this is what I think would elevate his outfits.

the shirts can also be worn in so many fun and different ways and make it really interesting because you go beyond the designer's choice to sell his clothes:

-> only mid buttons closed and an open collar (perfect to display jewelry) and it's flowing on the hips - it's useful to not have a line between the top and bottom, makes it look more 'blended'

-> only the first one closed, full belly on display, it's a fun way to wear a basic shirt (or here jacket)

-> it's a jacket as well but I find it really clever, to not have a basic button jacket, he closed only one and made it asymmetrical, it creates a nice shape and makes it really interesting

-> or just opening more buttons on a shirt than usual (one issue with his oversized shirts is that they look really 'big' so opening more buttons or tucking it would look better I think)

my issue with his matching set is that worn that way, it's usually monotonous. many things can be done to make it more interesting (and wearing it more than once)

-> using different fabrics (here maybe cotton/synthetic fabric for the turtleneck with leather shorts), the black really make the orange pop, love the bag too and the half tucked in turtleneck makes the outfit work

-> using mismatched set [Lewis Hamilton last year]

-> from a printed set, using only the shirt (or shorts) here I love that it's tucked inside a tailored white trousers (would work with tailored shorts too or with more Fabio coded shorts). the accessories are on point too, I love the oversized pearl necklace (here the short is white, but it can work with a lot of pastels colors, complementary to the shirt/shorts colors)

-> or using the printed shirt as an over shirt

another issue on the first 2 outfits: the fabrics and shapes

-> the trousers/track pants don't work with the first 2 sweaters. the 2 sweaters are nice but it looks weird with the track pants because the shape (tight on the ankles) and fabrics don't match (it's some kind of shinny synthetic fabric with a fleece hoodie for the first one 🤔)

-> round collars can be a little bit tricky because they're sometimes a bit boring. for the first one (on the left), it would look better with a shirt underneath for example with jeans and putting the hem of the jumper over the hem of the jeans to make it more baggy/loose (this is also true for his second one)

-> in my opinion, the elasticated hem works here for Jules Koundé because the shapes and fabric match

I like these outfits:

(from top left to right and again bottom left to right)

-> this set works because the fabric is nice, the pattern too and the shapes are nicely done: it's not too oversized and shapeless

-> the next three oversized ones work nicely because the hoodie and pants match - the colors on the last one work as well as the elasticated hem here + it's appropriate for a day on track

-> the 2 stripped hoodies are basic but it works - the one on the left more oversized and the other, I like the halft tucked in sweater

-> we can't see the shoes for the full denim one, but it works

-> he did a good job styling this shirt, this bag is dreamy and the trousers seem to match it

-> tmi but this brand, Cruel Pancake, was founded by Hugo Philip (actor/influencer and Caroline Receveur's husband). he is also working with Clarisse Castan (Ginger and Limón founder, [communication/celebrity management agency]) as well as Pierre Gasly (also working with Clarisse) who also did an ad for them a few days ago. I'm really curious to see the next 'collaboration' Fabio will do in the future 😊

in a way, I think that his style is "close" to Achraf Hakimi's but he styles his clothes better

-> especially the choice of the trousers: to me Achraf style them properly so they look nice, Fabio tends to put a lot of patterns together so it ends up being too much. of they have a special pattern or texture, he wears them with basics, so the focus is still on them

-> there are a few brands they both love to wear

-> the printed shirts

and last but not least: I absolutely love his watch collection and his jewels. he really has a good taste for watches

since a couple of months ago, going to the office has been.. interesting, but also a tiny bit exhausting.

yes there are countless rules and what not in place, but it's primarily because a certain person joined our company that i have a massive crush on and can rarely ever get out of my head. i've been trying to get this whole thing out of my head for months and it just keeps getting worse the harder i try.

he's 15 years older than i am, 2 years older than my brother, but he is incredibly fit, so good looking and appears like he doesn't even try. he wears high vans and a hoodie with well fitting dark jeans one day and a button up with pretty slacks and leather shoes the next day and i can't help but compliment him every time. he even knows how to wear funky socks with his fancy outfits and i honestly just love it so much, because it looks like he understands or would understand me very well, cause he, like me, is a chameleon that can adapt to most situations and i find it so endearingly addicting.

since he joined, whenever i talk to him, he just turns and talks to me of his own accord, understood my jokes from the start, so i could communicate with him by just eye contact, and no matter how much he has to do and i can't help but notice, that he doesn't do that for just anyone and it makes me think.

he has taken me along in his car when i asked, because public transportation problems. his car is a very specific one that i always make fun of him for, cause it's just so him, even though i don't know him that well, but it just fits his aura, the way he carries himself and the way he acts. he's also a really good driver and every time so far he's made sure to drive me right up to my car, waiting until my hands are on the door handle to open it and it makes me think.

sometimes we're the last people sitting at lunch and then he will just ask a question about my interests or how certain things in my life are going, engaging in active conversation for the whole of an hour that we get for our lunch, sometimes even preventing my attempts for getting up and getting back to my desk and it will make me think.

even though it's not even been six months, we've had insider jokes since he started and they're just becoming more. i always make him laugh with my countless jokes and he matches my energy and makes the same jokes whenever he talks to me, cause he just seems to get it or maybe even impress me, letting down his carefully cultivated outward persona and it makes me think.

the other day i asked him what his favourite season was and he said it's autumn. the same as mine. yesterday i asked him why he didn't turn on his station light and turned it on and he squinted and complained saying it's too bright and we had a laugh about it as he kept grinning cause it's just usually the thing that i do whenever someone turns on the light and it makes me think.

he seems pretty introverted, but professionally apt, right in his element and it's hard for me to get closer to him on a personal level as he is pretty closed off, but at the same time, i catch him looking at me when we're sitting at the same table and there are other people around and he's supposed to be talking to them and it makes me think.

he asked me if i wanted to join his team dinner and while i thought i made a joke about free food, he misunderstood me thinking or insinuating he was maybe asking me out and i find it so amusing, but it also means that he is aware of subtle nuances and how certain questions or actions might be perceived and it makes me think.

especially since he then started to avoid me during lunch, sitting further away from me, trying to appear more adult or something. i don't know, but that changed and i recently find him constantly sitting at the same table as me and most often in front or next to me seeking out conversation, laughing around and it makes me think.

he doesn't drink, he doesn't like energy drinks or coffee, all he drinks is water, he has a head full of hair and seems to be eating mindfully, mostly vegetarian and it makes me think.

during some bigger crowd events we were joking around with everyone and there was a time each on two consecutive nights, when he overreacted slightly with a shrugging and confused gesture at me, cause the first time i made a joke about what someone else had said, while he was sitting next to me, and the next day i made a joke saying that i don't even speak to him a lot, to which he got a little bit upset and kept looking at me with these mischievous, twinkly and slightly intense eyes and it makes me think.

everything makes me think so much, that on one of my drives home, i saw the city with its waterscape light up beautifully while the sun was setting and everything looked so romantic with the clear sky dusted in pretty colours in the evening, that i wished we would've been in the same car to witness that magic, share the moment and just maybe...

i know full well i should try and forget about all this. the age gap is a lot, even though i am into older men for many reasons, so the chances of him being okay with it are likely zero, especially since he has a child, though separated and seemingly single. i'm just reading into it, because i really just want to find someone to be with already. yes it's my fault for having such high standards that in real life only he seems to be meeting so far, but i also know i'm very likely not his type or anyone elses, cause i'm not a pretty or attractive person, but i'm also 15 years younger than him and... well... i'm just little lunatic me.
