Wow, actually made this in... I'll just say within a day. For my sanity.

I went heavy on details, so much so that I fear redrawing her. And even more so that I want to redesign Ares a bit, Amphitrite, and fricking Aphrodite for the fourth time. But until I run into regret, I'm extremely satisfied with Hera. Or at the very least, satisfied enough with it that if I do make any changes, it'll be slight adjustments. Annnnnd now to ramble:

I ain't got much for her lol. Usually, if I know the myths of a god, I'll add extra things to them; however, in my list of gods I want to make designs for, I only look for their domains and sacred animals & plants. This is because I might not be interested or currently invested in them, and their designs aren't really for personality showing, so when the time comes to include Hera in other drawings, that's usually when I dive into their personal myths. Anyway

I did base her off of peahens instead of peacocks (I was two months old when I learned the actual species is peafowl and all of them aren't just male & female peacocks) because peahens are pretty too. And they do have similar colors, just not across their entire bodies that are usually white or brown feathers. That's what her dress is supposed to imply: white feathers leading into blue-green ones. For the feathers on her head, I included a brown one too for brown feathers. The only thing still peacock related are the dark spots that look like eyes.. I could've removed them so she's more like a peahen but... it's fine lol. Intimidation factor. I honestly don't know why her feathers have eyes, probably inspired by mutual's own Hera design and others. I don't know if there is any actual significance to the idea, other than the fact that the actual feathers kinda look like eyes. The feathers on her head are also because peafowl all have em. Again, like Ares's vulture head (and despite being literal feathers), whether or not they are individual semi-beings or just straight up eyes is unknown to me and entirely up to Hera lol. Her earrings are not feathers with eyes btw. They're psuedo ones to make her more intimidating when angry.

Her corset (which I did not mean to make look like gold, but it's too late now. Imma just say it's really reflective or something idk-) design if of a lotus. I learned she had a lotus staff, which I think is pretty cool, so she has it on her design because I didn't want it blank. She's also decked out in jewelry that will absolutely not get forgotten by me; she's gotta treat herself to some nice things.

And my last and favorite thing I gave her isn't even on the ref lol. But her heels are going to be in the shape of a pillar, because I think it'd be cool.

In the new world. Joseph, the Father of what was once a big family walked to a distant place, away from his own garden, in the remaining mountains of the old Hope county

The old man walked to a sort of cabin, build by the two men he came seek for a possible help. He looked around at the porch, the little garden, some dog houses here and there. Rustic but they made it their home. Joseph continued his way toward the side of the house to where he saw one of the men. Still thin but looking healthier, with a kind of mullet like his younger days. There, trying to paint with some rudimentary paint he made. The old Father walked closer and let out a little greeting. "Oh ? Joseph ?" The man turned and gave him a little smile. The man was older, his burned marks still there but healed after so many years. They were placed at the same spots as his partner and the similarities made Joseph smile. All the more so as, as he grew older, the old painter’s beard became ginger. What was a little spot few years ago, grew to almost all his chin.

E- What is this visit worth, dear ?

J -i wanted to come visit you two. It’s been a while

-yeah… a while. so how’s the others ? In your new Eden ?

-it’s going well. My son can be difficult sometimes but one day he’ll grow in maturity, I’m sure

Here came the mountain man in all his glory. The old wolf came from the woods with his little pack and a buck on his shoulders. He looked stronger, well fed like if he was scared he had to eat someone else. The old age made him hairier and loose his colors, more grey and white but some ginger hair were still visible. He aged well, we could say.

YOU ENDED UP GETTING ME INTO NEOPETS NOW SO WHAT R UR THOUGHTS ON JETSAM(S)? IM A SUCKER FOR SHARKS LOL SO IM RLY HOPING TO GET ONE AT SOME POINT

Jetsams are sharks, and are meant to be kind of a counterpart/natural predator to the dolphin-like Flotsam; to the point where the two looked near-identical. Nowadays there are more differences, with the Jetsam sporting two fins, sharp teeth, slightly different markings, and an upright posture. Personally, I like to think of these two as a case of mimicry, with the Jetsam having evolved to trick Flotsam from a distance.

Visually, the Jetsam has a nice tough look to it that gives it a lot of personality, and the way it sits upright plus the two fins gives it a bit more uniqueness so it isn't just a normal shark. My only issue with it is that the gray underbelly is a bit too dark and low-contrast. Gray as the accent color is fine; it just needed to be a lighter tint.

The Jetsam benefited quite a bit from customization, as its old art was starting to get very dated and needed a redraw anyway. The new Jetsam looks a little less tough, but the smile is nice as it shows off their teeth, and it gives them a fun kind of mischievous look. The overall look didn't change much, but the head has been changed significantly to have a much better, less wonky shape to it, and the markings now stop above the mouth instead of near the eyebrow. The shape of the hind fins have also been improved, and they're one of the only pets who can make the customization fists look good.

Favorite Colours:

Maraquan: How do you make an underwater version of something that already lives in the water? Make it into a deep-sea fish, obviously! The overall design is easily recognizable as a Jetsam, but its been given a horizontal posture with bioluminescence and an angler fish light/teeth. The palette is great, using neutral browns and greys for the body and bright neon blues for the accent color. My only nitpick with it is that the teeth feel a bit busy and don't quite make sense if you look at them too long, but overall, this is a great design.

Pastel: The pastel Jetsam is just plain pretty, using a soft pink and turquoise palette. What really makes it work is that instead of using flat colors, it employs subtle gradients so the turquoise becomes blue in areas and the pink gets some subtle highlights. On top of that, it's also given a sunlight-under-water ripple texture, with a few small speckles on areas like the eyebrows and tail. A lot of effort went into this design compared to your standard pastel pet, and it really paid off.

Toy: Alright yeah, this one's just fun. The pool floatie idea is a great concept that works perfectly for the colour, and the execution is also really solid, including lots of raised plastic ridges, seams, and plenty of highlights to give it that plastic look.

My only issue with it is that weird handle on the side of the head. I guess some shark toys have these, but I've never seen one personally and it honestly just looks distracting and kind of out of place. Also, I do wish it was semi-transparent (think like the good Jelly-coloured pets), but that's not a big deal. Still a really good colour regardless.

BONUS: The robot Jetsam has a mostly red and white palette with a few black accents, and it works really well for this pet. I love the visor, and the patterning on the fins is really neat. Both versions are fine; the UC/styled version looks a bit more robotic, but the customized version reads a bit better overall.

i honestly don't have a workspace LOLL all of my art is done on my ipad, so i just work on my lap on the couch or wherever. but no, my living room as a whole is not neat. i wish my sister and i were neat and organized people but alas we had no upbringing and function much like wild bears.

21. what do you think your art style would taste like?

maybe something that looks fancy at first glance but then you get into it and realize it's just domino's pizza with a side of cheetos and dr. pepper that was plated in a way to make it look like fine dining. but domino's, cheetos, and dr. pepper still taste good so it's fine, albeit a strange deceit.

i have a drawing from 2004 that i already redrew once in 2020, and i would love to paint once more because i have come a longass way since then. it'd be fun to compare two very anime styled drawings to a super realistic one.

i would also love to redo some of my old ink self-portraits because so many of them have been stolen, damaged, etc over the years and that kind of breaks my heart. i think i could make them look significantly better now anyway tho

January: An old OC I completely forgot about until making this. He's based on old radio like things :}

February: Played Person 5 Royal last year & drew Joker cos idk he's neat. Fun fact, the same day I fully finished the game was the day Storm & a Spring came out. Also while grinding in the game, I had his Bidding & VoaC covers on repeat. Which was a bit annoying to do since they weren't on Spotify yet & YT on mobile didn't have looping then.

March: The Hawaii Part ii album cover :} I did post that eventually but that's the time I actually made it. Had listened to TME a couple of months before then which got me into the album, so months later I drew it cos why not? [Also the month Vol.1 fully released on everything. What's funny is my gallery for that day was a handful of memes I saved at 4am before I fell asleep. And then the next image saved is when I woke up which was a screenshot of the whiteboard in TfaR lol]

April: First main Jash art !!! And its not even with any of the songs from Vol. 1 lol. I had his Moss cover on repeat again & now that all of Vol. 1 was out, I drew Heart in some moss. Or really in the image from the video.

May: Lil animation I made of Heart with the song Don't Hit the Lights! Link to my post & the song can be found here :}. Still really like the song & even the drawings. Might remake em eventually idk

July: A redraw of a HMS piece I originally made back in May, based on the Three Wise Monkeys thing. I like the idea of it so I keep wanting to remake it.

August: I honestly can't remember if I posted that art or not. Actually yea I don't think I ever did PFFT. It's one of the few drawings I did of myself this year & its from CJs Not Perfect cover [as you can tell by the lyrics on it]. Also one of the very very few vent-ish arts I made. I like the background more than anything but its still neat ig?

September: Art for one of the best songs ever. I love Fine, I'm Fine its so good & I listened to it for like 70% of the 20+ hours it took me to make the drawing. Still proud of it so there's the sketch I drew on paper, the one on my tablet & then the final versions.

October: There was a lot from this month due to Jashtober. I still like this one lot & it wasn't insanely rushed so I picked this one to show lol.

November: I have no idea why I made a fun lil soul. I was having an identity crisis over my art style & ig decided to draw the guy who is a walking identity crisis/j

You’re good!! I think I honestly haven’t really ever talked about him here but I could be wrong. (I’m too lazy to just look through my own posts💀)

Warning for another long rambly mya post ahead:

This is Artie! (He’s supposed to be like a half-giant man so I wanna redraw him at some point and fix how he looks lol) And yes, he is NOT her husband❌❌ Artie is someone Avalon was very close with when they were both younger (like early 20s (they’re both pushing 60 or so now lol)). They aren’t together romantically at all (sometimes I like to pair them in aus but those ones are less popular with my friends because straight lmfaoooo), but it does kinda look like they are so idc that much how it’s perceived. Canon Avalon though is not with anyone and Artie is actually married to his nameless husband lol.

They were basically best friends when they were young and did almost everything together when avalon wasn’t with her actual best friend, Rose-Marie. In my story, there is a war between magic and non-magic people that breaks out while Avalon and everyone around her age range is still younger, so Artie ends up going to help fight in that which then causes a bit of a gap in their relationship because they don’t see each other for a good while. Artie does return at one point but when he does, Avalon is literally about to/getting married. After that, they just drift further and further apart because Avalon starts to push him, along with everyone else away for reasons Artie doesn’t know or understand. He doesn’t push her though and just sadly accepts that she doesn’t want anything to do with him and leaves her be- which he goes on to regret when Avalon just gets worse. After a lot of stuff happens though, they basically start to reconnect and rekindle that old relationship so that’s kinda what those drawings are but they were also influenced by the au so whichever way you see them is fine lol. They both have a shared not-daughter which is Connie who they both view like their daughter because they’re both very close to her so I call them her unofficial parents lol. Artie’s just the better parent of the two because Avalon was a bitch for a long ass time.

He’s a science/biology teacher at the school Connie also works at (which is how he met and became so close with her (shared experiences with Avalon will bring so many people close together🥰/j)) he loves his job and just loves life. He’s one of the most positive people around, he’s basically like a giant golden retriever and Avalon is a black cat. Very different levels of energy and attitudes. Takes a lot to make him angry (Avalon has accomplished that though when he found out how she treated Connie 🫶)

Artie’s tldr is that he is a giant sweetheart who has never done anything wrong in his life and really loves bugs. He has a pet tarantula he refers to as his “little princess”

I’ll probably post more about him at some point though!

As for Avalon’s husband- he sucked and she killed him lol

She initially thought she was in love with him because she was convincing herself that it was what she was supposed to be feeling and what she was supposed to be doing, because he had money and she kinda needed it to keep her school up. She ends up feeling too guilty about it though and doesn’t really think she does love him after all so she attempts to break it off with him just before they get married, but he kinda traps her and she has no choice but to go along with it. He was super charming and seemed like the perfect guy but in actuality, he was just super manipulative and like the worst man alive. So needless to say, their relationship was very much abusive and toxic. Avalon began to push people away and start to take her anger out on others because he took his out on hers and she wanted an outlet of her own. She kinda started to lose it and he definitely wasn’t helping with everything he subjected her to which I probably won’t write in this post but maybe another one. Basically, Avalon was trapped though and one day she just completely snapped when the two of them were alone and st@bbed him to death. That moment kinda solidified Avalon’s descent into madness and made her feel both untouchable and very powerful (which is not a good thing because it’s Avalon). She somehow managed to cover it up and get away with it- idk how still so this is a “trust me bro” moment- she just did. She also inherited all his money after the fact too so that didn’t help with Avalon feeling powerful and untouchable.

After that though she kept thinking she was still seeing visions of him and was basically tormented by him even from the grave (he was not haunting her, Avalon just was genuinely going through a major break mentally), which made her act even more unhinged and eventually played a part in Avalon losing her magic and getting her school shut down and taken from her. She’s still recovering from all of that but she’s doing better now. It just came at the cost of her becoming a social pariah that nobody in her town liked because of her actions. She really lashed out on a lot of her students, Constance especially and when all that got out, she was ruined and she’ll never be able to run from her past actions. Basically just also pretty abusive but not *as* bad as the extent of what she was put through- most of what Avalon did was verbal but she did throw a lot of stuff around and was just terrifying to be around because nobody knew when she’d snap at them again.

I don’t have any drawings of him because tbh I just don’t really want to draw him, but I do have drafts with him in them. His name is Jerrod and his tldr is that he sucks👍

Redraw of my Object Sona! I feel like it's rather fitting after the announcement of the continuation of This Is Scrapbook by Katyj98!

I still don't have a proper name for them that isn't just, Refillable Notebook tho. But if it's not obvious, They're inspired by Scrapbook and a notebook I own.

I love This is Scrapbook, honestly all of the 'This Is' series are wonderful, but This is Scrapbook is what hit me the most. If you're interested to see my rambling, it's down below. (I can't remember if I had done this before but oh well, just to show how much I adore it yeah?)

I was into object shows when I was younger but I dropped off, partly out of stress, shame, memories, and other self discovery things. This was around the time Season 2 of II started the hiatus.

I always did linger around the outskirts though. My mind always came back to object shows but somehow I always pushed myself away, somehow thinking somehow that for some reason, If I specifically went back to it, it's cringe. If others do? Totally fine!

Years later, I found out about ONE by complete coincidence. It was awesome, but, I assumed it was more of a one time fluke thing, some one growing up and making a more nuanced show based out of something they grew up with. Then I found out about Objectified, Again, Wow an object show horror comic? Ok, I can get behind that. Then I learned II had a season 3, how Season 2 picked back up again. And I hesitantly went back to it.

I don't know why, but I was expecting to come back thinking I probably would be like, Meh about it? It's like when you used to watch a show you like but it no longer appeals to you. Boy, was I dead wrong.

I enjoyed it a whole lot. And that, scared me. A part of me was convinced I'm not supposed to like this anymore. It didn't make sense, I knew it didn't, Object Shows aren't inherently just for kids or anything like that. Hell that's the same dumb logic of "Animation is for kids" argument and I absolutely loathe that.

But it didn't change that it was there. Yet I was convinced it'll be embarrassing if my current friends would find out despite it not really making sense. Worse yet, I wasn't sure why I felt all this yet at the time. So I kept my distance, feeling deep shame for enjoying object shows again in secret.

But then I learned about the This is series Katyj made. Object Show music videos? I remember Katyj from their old vids, so it was interesting to see what these were like, and I was, blown away.

It's so good, I absolutely loved it, then I found This is Scrapbook.

Holy Shit. I got chills listening to it for the first time. It's like suddenly things clicked for me. I ended up bawling quietly and listened to it multiple times while processing everything.

That day I officially decided to try to unlearn the shame I taught myself. I opened up to my friends a bit on it.

Sometimes I still occasionally feel insecure about it, but nowadays I'm a lot more open about my love for this genre, and it feels so relieving to just, accept this part of me. I can't believe how much missed these object creatures. Being able to enjoy it with less shame and fear. Maybe someday I can even get the energy to make my own series haha

I had fun drawing these goobers together LIKE FINELY MY BOI MY BABY BOI I- 😭💕✨🥺 honestly it physically pains me knowing in the au my child is in someone looked at this boi and attacked him

This is exactly why Philip doesn't even argue with Wally's point about humans he seen the nasty side of his own kind as well and even he is like

"wh- no man I AGREE with you we're fucking horrible- like-" bro then casually holds Finley like he's Simba"LOOK AT HIM- WHAT DO YOU MEAN PEOPLE LOOK AT THIS FACE AND HARM HIM LIKE-" and Finley lil bro got 0 clue what his father/older bro figure be yapping about XD

Another one is that when Philip looks through the recordings (because I feel like he kinda has a perfectionist issue when it comes to filming he trys his best to keep quiet about his perfectionism to not stunt more of the production of the show,I feel like he even goes as far to show Wally and his friends the recordings to get there opinions on it) he lets Finley sit down on his lap and watch it with him most of the time Finley feels so safe that he falls asleep so he doesn't really see the full recordings until it's fleshed out more it's honestly an adorable sight really.

I like to think when alone the two likes to sing alot of mr. Rogers songs there favorite being won't you be my neighbor they don't realize that people secretly watch them sing together because when they sing it's the definition of a father and son spending time together and it shows in there voices as well Finley's giggles always filled a room although most folks get jumpscared by even hearing Philip singing because people didn't actually think he can talk- even when Philip ask people basic questions there like "AYO YOU CAN TALK??" Philip keeps forgetting that he actually doesn't talk much to people so when he dose people get jumpscared because they actually never heard his voice before he's unsure if he should be annoyed or amused by that fact-

I imagine that in work Philip and Finley are quite two peas in a pod whenever one gose the other follows like a mama and baby duck even when Finley finally has his own dressing room he always wants Philip to be there because he makes him feel less scared and safe Philip dreads the day when the time comes to take him he doesn't know what will or what would become of Finley if something were to happen to him he's normally quiet about his fears although working together with his son/lil brother figure that thought started to bubble up more he should use this opportunity as a way to spend more time with Finley and he dose although he's unsure if that would be enough for time itself.

Finley as mentioned before is genuinely a sweet kid so even if there was any human workers that are mean to him he somehow handled it will such grace and elegancy or at least that's what others say about him Truth is kid is way to sweet and trusting- most of the time Philip has to be the one to be angry for him due to how grown ass humans treat Finley, normally Philip would plumbel someone if they hurt/insult his boy although Finley would normally prevent that- Finley still doesn't understand why Philip feels the need to be angry for him yet at the same time he's still young persay to know the full situation at hand but neither none or less Finley still cares for Philip all the same.

How Philip and Finley interact with the cast is quite an interesting one

Finley is very open and social with his fellow coworkers and actors very happy to meet them yet at the same time shy sense he watches there show so to be part of it feels surreal to him he always get so happy yet shy talking to Wally the most so normally he grabs Philip to help give him the confidence,he ADORES everyone and everything always bringing light to a room and accidentally giving poppy mini heart attacks because this child is VERY HYPER and sometimes get himself in quite dangerous predicaments basically-

Philip: WHAT TH- HOW DID YOU GET UP THERE?!

Sometimes I feel like due to how mean some humans can be they definitely hook Finley up in high places because they find it amusing how chill he is about it-

Another thing is Finley is notorious for his horrible sleeping spots,most of the time it's floors sense he's so used to sleeping on floors everyone and I mean EVERYONE including Philip most of the time became victim to Finley's unintentional trip trap this is actually the main reason why Philip keeps Finley with him when he rewatches the video recordings so no one else have to become victims to that again-

Finley loves to draw alot so when everyone is on brake and likes to spend his time watching Philip reviewing his recordings,I feel like Finley gets the papers and colored pencils from the prop/art department finely is actually really careful when using there supplies but the kid trys to get the more faulty art supplies so he doesn't have to use the ones there actually using he's very respectful about other people's property and is very well mannered he loves making gifts for everyones even tords anyone who's mean to him.

and with Wally he's on more of a 50/50 he doesn't argue about Wally's opinions about humans and he doesn't even bother wanting to change that although ironically I feel like not bothering somehow worked- Philip is pretty straightforward about things but also very kind dispite his grumpy exterear so even though Wally is in a bad mood Philip can't help but wounder why, when time allows it he would try to strike up a convo what gotten Wally so pissed this time

And somehow convinced Wally to give him the failed coffee orders- two reasons is that one he actually doesn't like food waste as said before on Philip's Post so Philip managed to convince Wally to just hand it to him honestly Philip actually finds it pretty amusing how people keep getting caffeine and decaf mixed up because how is that even possible? Is the workplace really that loud? His mind has been subconsciously been blocking noises due to his own thoughts or having to focus on Finley most of the time or he's extremely hyper focused so he doesn't even know fully on how noisy it can be at times and second reason he needs caffeine- that's it bro just really wanted the caffeine but couldn't afford it- sure he spends money on food and stuff but he doesn't really spend any treats for himself that mostly gose to Finley.

Alright, might as well get this out of the way for archival purposes, and also because I don't really feel like spacing these out into separate posts? Eh, maybe I just need to actually produce some more content for this, but getting all old content uploaded is productive in it's own right I suppose. Here's all the art of Maribel I would consider old and outdated. Some even before I came to the realization that "this is just essentially an AU isn't it". My first drawings were done on June 6th, 2023. There's some oddball oldies between then and like, 2/3 months ago where I now have a more consistent style to go toward(though still figuring stuff out), but considering how I held off on this post I might leave those till later.

First drawing, colored and uncolored. A clearly shocked look on her face, yet still cute(at least to me ;) ). Her long black T shirt and blue skirt are reminiscent of Madeline's jacket shape and color respectively, but the pumpkin hair shape thing I didn't decide upon until later. It's just orange here because of a common misconception that Madeline's hair is more orange than it is red. That wasn't intentional, but it did help differentiate the two.

I believe this half marker half pen doodle is the 2nd ever one. Honestly might redraw this one cus the idea of her shrugging like this definitely fits her character. Also with it's color removed like this the skirt and apron combo kind of looks like a maid dress, especially with how many frills I gave the skirt here

This was like a joke about her being self conscious of her weight but I think Maribel is actually the type to be fine with that. Speaking of that I have slimmed her down just a little bit between then and now.

I actually think this is one of the best portrayals of her character despite not having the pumpkin hairdo yet!

Though it does highlight a point where my artstyle(or more accurately, how I think of my artstyle) and Pizza Tower's art differs/clashes a bit, and that's with mouths. Typically I like to imagine giving characters smaller mouths and big eyes so they look more cute, but in Pizza Tower, Peppino and most of the other guys(even Gustavo partially) have big gaping jaws extending down their chins. It's been a bit of a hard thing to get around... While I'm at it, this art isn't this era of old, I made it more recently, but it does show Maribel with a more extended jaw. She's also really, really pissed off at something;

Oh right, I almost forgot, the first time I tried to make a proper pizza tower style sprite for Maribel!

Working on Underlord

Issue #1 was scary.... I did not have a lot of faith in it when I started working on the story. The thing about it was that I had to be able to deliver a lot of exposition without having it drag on the story and also leaving enough information out to still have some mystery.

Took me 4 drafts to figure it out. Wrote up like 15 pages. only really used 4 of them... the issue as a whole ended up 44 pages... which is fine cause I think it turned out good. a lot of the pages were for slowing down pacing and having neat little character interactions. I didn't write a 5th draft, I just kind of made a bunch of notes on how things should play out and made things up as I went along. which was honestly freeing

my style of writing has been something I struggled to figure out since I started making comics. you'd think that just writing a script would be enough, but I get a little more leeway seeing as I'm a solo act. So I went from no script with my first comic, to a heavy script with the second, to a little mix of both for this one. I've settled on just doing a little outline where I describe what the character is doing and then write a page breakdown with dialogue. It's quick and gives me enough room to improvise when things aren't working quite how I want them to. I'm a lot happier with it.

enough about writing, Lets talk about the art side of things.

I mentioned some confidence issues in my first comic post(Though I doubt you read it...link here) and I guess doing another comic in-between that one and this helped me chill out more. going into this, I had a decent grasp of what I could do, so the main focus was on refining some of my skills and trying to push a little more. Mostly my layouts and compositions. I just wanted to be more creative and I think I handled it well enough with the regular, comic style pages.

The webtoon style ones were hit and miss I think.

so lets talk about pacing for a bit.... Pacing has been my enemy for many years. things always went by faster than I would have liked. I like it when things have time to breathe. My issue with my previous comics was that It felt like things happened a little too fast. writing definitely played a part in it, but I figured, at the time, that maybe using the regular comic format did too. so I actually would draw things normally, then copy and paste panels into the webtoons format to see if that would help. It's not bad, but it is more work. Not to mention that I'm not really used to the style, so things are here or there. I think the first/second part worked out best. the rest are decent, nothing special. At the moment, I'm wondering weather to just stick to one format or the other. That way I could plan things out better. I'll probably test it out with issue 3

Moving on. I mentioned confidence a little earlier. Confidence made me jump into this. Like I did a bit of concept art for some locations and maybe 2 or 3 characters, but for most part, things were made up on the spot and adjusted from part to part. Once again, Nice. Still think some things would work out a little better with more forethought, but I guess that's writing(???).

I changed art programs twice. Parts 1-4 were done on medibang, 5-9 were done with CSP and for the rest of it, I used procreate. each had their bonuses. I think drawing In procreate is the better of the 3, but lettering in it is kinda rough. I end wrestling with it more than I'd like. I might end up transferring pages to my pc for lettering next time. hopefully that helps.

It's nice seeing how much better I get with drawing as time went on.

I'd like to go back to the issue at some point. Cause there are a lot of easy to fix errors that bother me on re-reads. Originally, I figured I could just redraw the whole thing, But I one of the rules of webcomics is to keep moving forward. If I get to it, I'll be fixing things without erasing my old art. Fix errors and make some changes to help out with character consistency

any who, that's the ramblings of some guy you don't know on a comic He'd love for people to read. It's not the greatest, but it's mine and I'm happy to have done it. I guess next I'll ramble about issue 2 and some plans for the future

so this ones actually pretty old, because of the artstyle and because i still used my full username, instead of the kw that i use today. also this oc is named anti, and its just a version of a different oc i came up with afew years ago. anyways, the artstyle in this drawing was actually mainly inspired by gooseworx artstyle, and i didn't really want to draw this, but i did. i also have a lot more drawings that were made in this artstyle, but they aren't as decent as this one. plus i did change it after awhile, to i think an artstyle inspired by vivzipop, but i dont really remeber.

this is actually a somewhat kinda more reasont drawing, and its also just a redraw of an older drawing i did of this oc. also if your wondering, there name is lowfoxxo (low-fox-o) and i dont exactly remeber how i came up with the oc's design. also a lot of people mistaken there tail as a sythe, so instead of being mad at them for making that mistake, i actually gave them a sythe (well, not in this drawing, but i might draw them with a sythe someday.) theres also a shaded version of this drawing, but i just prefer this version over the other.

Hello, I was looking through some of your older mlp content and I was curious, do you think you’ll ever revisit some of your old mlp aus?? I just personally find them really interesting and would love to hear more about them. Especially ones like the Guardian!AU and the ArrangedMarrige!AU I like the more angsty stories XD If you’ve moved on from that sort of content that’s absolutely fine, we all grow and with that our interests often change c:

I likely won't honestly. They were fun for sure, and I still fondly remember the show (I might rewatch it at some point). And I've definitely considered it: for example I thought about doing a short recap series of redrawing some elements of the old AUs and giving a synopsis of how the stories would go if I ever actually sat down with the goal of telling them from beginning to end (they were more like vehicles for me to worldbuild). Alternatively, if I did revisit an AU with intentions of remaking it, it'll almost certainly be the Arranged Marriage one only.

So, not impossible. But unlikely. If I ever did another MLP AU I think it'd have to be new. Of which I actually DO have an entirely completed story synopsis for a supernatutal thriller, to be truthful. Whether or not ya'll get to see it is the question. :U

1. you know whats also bad about the red eyes? not only do they look awful on persephone's pink color, they're not even a unique feature? like we've seen hades' eyes go red, we've seen eros' eyes go red, and ares' eyes are ALWAYS red, so even this idea its her "unique queenly trait" doesnt even hold up?? because we've seen it on other characters before?like at least the blue glowing eyes looked unique and even gave her a possessed, otherworldly look, something with the red eyes just dont have.

2. The faces in the latest ep (not fastpass).... Ew

3. I saw someone praise lore olympus art, specifically the ones where Apollo is playing his lyre and Daphne is covering her ears while her hair is split in two (yuck! Bad decision looks awful) so we can see Apollo, the one where she transforms into her hibernation state (weird perspective, chin and neck, I think, also what the hell was that supposed to be?) and the last one before cutting to Thanatos (which, I admit looks a little better that the other but I still got distracted Apollo's arm among other things).

Now, Rachel is a professional artist like 15-25 years older than me (I dunno her age) drawing one of the most liked webtoons.

I feel like I'm nitpicking or being too harsh or crazy because I think it is a little terrible and this person thinks it's amazing and I know art is subjective and all but like the difference of opinion is jarring. I am by no means a professional and my art leaves a lot to be desired and I guess I don't have incredibly high standards (or do I? I'm second guessing). Is it really that good?

Because I know that Smythe commits more than a few anatomy atrocities. I wanted to redraw a few panels two years ago and I noticed a few things that Don't Work Like That.

5. im honestly surprised LO hasnt ruined more mother figures at this point. maybe maia will be next and depicted as neglectful and hermes is only the way he is because hes acting out to be noticed by her, maybe dione will slut shame aphrodite, who knows, the possibilities are endless when its about ruining every mother figure to prop persephone and hera up and to avoid giving the characters actual personalities that isnt dependent on mommy/daddy issues.

6. I hate the clothing choice for Daphne in run for your life. It felt like she was drawn in a sexualized manner when she shouldn’t have been because she was running away from a r*pist. Like she almost had a nip slip, we almost got her ass, it was like Rachel was trying to fit her butt and chest in a lot of the frames like some video game with the token woman character. Like if a different dress was choosen or how she made Daphne tie the dress, I just feel like Rachel can’t draw outside of pinup sexy that well. Like sexy is fine for sexy scenes but running away from a r*pist is not sexy. (I probably sounded really lame, but the way Rachel presents the story in a feminist way but can only draw one way in not even the same style is annoying)

7. Things I think would have been better for the story instead of focusing so much on HXP

-Expanding on Minthe’s and Hades beginning of their relationship (he couldn’t of fallen for her since she didn’t laugh at him and when she yelled at him said it’s not your fault but you have the hat I think that would have added to his character more to see him more than a 40 year old who hits on barely legal)

-Leto’s kidnapping of Demeter. Both we/are close with Hera, and probably know or each other or may have been friends. Like I wanna know how Leto kidnapped her but also how are they interacting since they probably know each other and Demeter probably had Hera’s back when Hera ended their friendship.

-Ares return to Aphrodite. We don’t get to see much of her character but we know this is something she’s wanted, but they way it was handled was so flat, We assume Aphrodite told Ares that his gf slept with his father to save their son but we don’t actual read any words between the couple. And then they’re living together. I wanna see how they actually interact and stay together like their better moments. Like how well did he settle in, did they talk about how long he left for or is he mad like come on that’s something interesting but I feel like RS can’t write outside of HXP

-the deal with Echo. Why do people think Echo could possibly be Hera’s gf if she’s her assistant. Yeah they do dirty work together BUT I didn’t get a wiff or sexual tension or anything. Was it that she was there with the doctor? It just seems like Hera is that CEO trope who has the assistant always by her now.

-a little more of Pysche and Aphrodite friendship. Like Pysche says Aphrodite is lonely (and we can assume a part of that is Ares) but also because she “doesn’t have many friends” so why not a solo scene of just the two of them being actual friends. Like what did Aphrodite say when she brought back a purple nymph that was gonna help them with their work.

-Hermes not talking about Persephone. I feel like that 99% of what his character is and then just a little bit of himbo. 

-Maybe Thantos and Minthe started flirting/hooking up. We’re they friends first or flirts first? Was it after Hades and Minthe got into a fight or something else? What did Thantos like about Minthe and what does she like about him? Why did she stay with Hades with Thantos was there (it’s not like she wanted to be queen of the underworld) How did Thantoas and Thetis meet and become friends? Idk if I was seeing two guys and one of them actually liked my friend I might consider leaving Hades for him. But again hades did have the power to control everything in Minthe’s life (job, home, everything) I do like Daphne and Thantos But I feel like the transition could have been better if we knew more, but again RS can only focus on one thing and that’s HXP.
