I forgot how much I love soft herring roe - a frozen block of 450 g from Waitrose very cheap, very delicious, sawn into 3. 1 portion here defrosted and marinated with Isot pepper, salt and paprika, dusted in flour and fried, with wilted/fried greens and vegies plus rye bread toast and romesco sauce.
