*Mass Maharaja Ravi Teja, Vamsee, Abhishek Agarwal Arts’ Pan Indian Film Tiger Nageswara Rao’s Fierce & Majestic First Look Launched*
Link: https://youtu.be/EDh1FDuxiX8
The Kashmir Files, Karthikeya 2, and now Tiger Nageswara Rao. Abhishek Agarwal Arts which delivered blockbusters at the Pan India level is coming up with yet another Pan India project Tiger Nageswara Rao with Mass Maharaja who is familiar to the south as well as the north audience playing the titular role. Directed by Vamsee and produced grandly by Abhishek Agarwal of Abhishek Agarwal Arts, the promotions of the movie kick-start in a first-of-its-kind manner with the makers launching the fierce and majestic first-look poster and intriguing concept video on the iconic Havelock Bridge (Godavari) in Rajahmundry. They hired a train for the grand first-look launch event.
Ravi Teja looks like a ferocious tiger and roars like a tiger in the first-look poster that sees him in a rugged get-up with a thick beard. It’s scary to stare into his eyes, though it’s just a poster. He can be seen behind bars. The concept poster is meant to introduce the world of Tiger Nageswara Rao. It is articulated strikingly with voiceovers of five different superstars in five different languages. While Venkatesh gave voiceover for the Telugu version, John Abraham, Shiva Rajkumar, Karthi, and Dulquer Salmaan introduced the world of Tiger Nageswara Rao in Hindi, Kannada, Tamil, and Malayalam languages respectively.
As mentioned in the beginning of the video, the story is inspired by true rumours. “It was the 70s. A small village in the coastal region of the Bay of Bengal... Even the darkness that scares the world is afraid of the people there... The train that makes huge noise trembles when it reaches the outskirts of the area... The feet of people shudder when they see the landmark of the town... Stuartpuram is the crime capital of South India... That area has another name... Tiger Zone… The Zone of Tiger Nageswara Rao...” explains the voiceover.
The dialogue- “You might have seen a tiger hunting a deer? Have you ever seen a tiger hunting a tiger?” uttered by Ravi Teja describes the ruthless nature of the character. The voiceovers of the superstars make the portrayal more interesting.
Director Vamsee picked a winning script and he is presenting it in an appealing manner. Top technicians are working on the movie and we can see the brilliant and collective efforts put in by all the craftsmen.
The visuals captured by R Madhie ISC, the presentation by director Vamsee, the grandness in making by Abhishek Agarwal Arts, and the sound created by GV Prakash Kumar give enough elevation and take us to the world of notorious criminals. Ravi Teja’s body language, diction, and getup are completely different. The first look and the concept video create curiosity among the audience across the nation.
Nupur Sanon and Gayathri Bharadwaj are roped in to play the leading ladies opposite Ravi Teja in the movie.
Avinash Kolla is the production designer. Srikanth Vissa is the dialogue writer, while Mayank Singhaniya is the co-producer.

India National Cricket Team History
The British brought cricket to India in the early 1700s, with the first cricket match played in 1721. More than a century later, the Parsi community in Bombay formed the Oriental Cricket Club, the first cricket club to be established by Indians. The Europeans, who were hesitant to play with the Indians, mellowed down after a while and invited the Parsis to play a match in 1877.
By 1912, the Parsis, Sikhs, Hindus and Muslims of Bombay played a quadrangular tournament with the Europeans every year. In fact, the likes of Ranjitsinhji and KS Duleepsinhji received lavish praise from the British. Currently two of the most prestigious competitions of the country – Ranji Trophy and the Duleep Trophy – are named after the two.
In 1911, an Indian team went on their first official tour of the British Isles. However, they returned to India after only playing against the county sides.
1930s- The Journey Begins
India National Cricket Team: It was in 1932 that the Indians first started playing officially, as a nation. The team’s first tour came againsts hosts England. Playing under the title of “All India” and led by CK Nayudu, the team performed reasonably well. Although it lost the first Test match, Team India went on to play 37 matches, 26 of which were first-class fixtures. It won 9 of these, drew another 9 apart from losing 8. Skipper Naidu was the pick of the Indian players in the tour, scoring 1,618 runs at an impressive average of 40.45.
1940s- ‘Mankading’
The Indian Cricket team again toured England in 1946, the hosts first such series after the devastating World War-II. Although England won the series 1-0, India competed in 29 first-class fixtures, winning 11 of them and losing only 4.The 1940 decade also marked the team’s first series as an independent nation. It was in 1948 against Australia at Brisbane. The series also saw a new term being coined after the name of an Indian cricketer- “Mankading”.
It all began when India’s opener and slow left arm orthodox bowler Mankad ran out Bill Brown at the non-striker’s end. That was when he was about to bowl the delivery but paused in his way when he caught Brown out of crease and uprooted the stumps to send the batsman back to the pavillion.Although the local media was infuriated (it was considered to be unsporting in nature), it was well within the law books. As a result, this practice began to be known as ‘Mankading’.
1950s- First Test Series Win
India had to wait for two decades to register its first ever Test win against a nation. The historic moment came in 1952 in Madras (now Chennai), when the Men in Blue defeated England by an innings and 8 runs. Although the series ended in a draw, that massive victory was elementary in improving Indian cricket team’s confidence playing International matches.Four years later, Team India’s first series win came against New Zealand in 1956. On their tour of India, the Kiwis lost two of the 5-Test series to help the Men in blue with a 2-0 series win.
1960s- First Overseas Victory
India National Cricket Team: The decade started with a bang for Indian cricket when they registered their first-ever series win over England in 1961-62. Having drawn the first three matches, hosts India won the remainder of the two Tests by 187 and 128 runs respectively to bag the series. Then in 1967-68 on their tour to New Zealand, India went on to defeat the Kiwis by 3-1. The victory marked their first-ever series win outside of the subcontinent.
1970s- Dominance and the ODI Debut
It was in the year 1971 that India announced its arrival on the world cricket map by trouncing two of the most powerful cricketing nations – England and West Indies in the 1971 test series.Indian men set foot on the English soil with a dismal record of 15 losses and zero wins in the 19 Tests they played there.India made its One Day International debut in 1974 in the Prudential Cup against England. Sadly so, the hosts won the series by 2-0. India’s first ODI win came against East Africa in the Prudential World Cup in 1975.With the onset of the 1979 World Series Cup, each team was required to have a primary as well as the secondary colour of their uniforms at the ready. The Indians selected the light blue for their primary colour while yellow became the secondary colour.
1980s – The 1983 Prudential World Cup Victory
The biggest moment in Indian cricket’s history came in 1983 when India defeated the defending champions West Indies in the finals to lift the 1983 Prudential World Cup. Legends like Kapil Dev, Mohinder Amarnath, and Madan Lal were born in this tournament.India also won the Rothman’s Asia Cup in 1984 before going on to clinch the World Championship in 1985. The latter competition was almost like a second World Cup, with all the seven Test playing nations featuring. Moreover, the win also proved India’s triumph in 1984 was not a flash in the pan.The Men in Blue then won the Sharjah Cup in 1988 besides winning ODI series against Australia (3-2 in 1986), Sri lanka (4-1 in 1986-87), England (1-2 in 1986), New Zealand (4-0 in 1988), and West Indies (5-0 in 1989).
1990s- The Tendulkar Era
1990s witnessed the emergence of two Indian cricketers that took the cricketing world by storm – Sachin Tendulkar and Anil Kumble. Having made their debuts in 1989 and 1990, these were the two stars, along with others like Mohammed Azharuddin, Navjot Singh Sidhu, and Sourav Ganguly, that ushered Indian cricket into a new era of dominance.India won the Texaco Trophy (1990), Asia Cup (1991), CAB Jubilee Tournament (1993-94), Singer World Series (1994), Wills World Series (1994-95), and the Titan Cup (1996-97) among other major accomplishments in this decade.
As far as the Indian cricket team jersey is concerned, the team has worn multiple shades of blue. For the 1992 World Cup (called as the Benson & Hedges World Cup at that time), the team went ahead with navy-blue by ISC. For the 1996 World Cup, the jersey had a light shade of blue along with yellow as the secondary colour. The colour lightened up further in the following World Cup in 1999, with a dominant yellow and manufactured by ASICS.
2000s- The Highs and the Lows
India National Cricket Team: The 2000 era saw some dramatic highs and lows in the Indian cricket history. One of them was the dramatic Test victory against Australia in 2001 at the famous Eden Garden Stadium. The visitors, on the back of a 16 consecutive Test match victories, forced India to follow-on after the latter collapsed for only 171 in the first innings. Two heros- Laxman and Dravid- stood to the crease and amassed as many as 376-run between them. India then managed to bowl Australia out for only 212 runs to become only the third nation to win from a follow-on.
The country also won the 2002 ICC Champions Trophy. The Natwest ODI Series win in England can be counted as another unforgettable moment for the Indians in the 2000s. Facing a stiff target of 325, the Indian team was struggling at 146-5 at one point of time. However, an inspiring innings by Mohammad Kaif (87*) and Yuvraj Singh (69) famously saw Sourav Ganguly lift his shirt and India, the trophy at the Lord’s stadium.Indian Cricket team finished 2003 ICC World Cup as the runner-ups, losing in the final against Australia.
Entering the 2007 edition of the tournament, the Men in Blue returned from the West Indies (the host nation) without even making it to the knockouts. This early exit was met with a furious outburst from fans back home.As a compensation of sorts, the Indian cricket team returned from South Africa as the first-ever World T20 Champions. It was the first of a series of triumphs to come under India’s new captain, MS Dhoni.
Success under MS Dhoni
India’s fortunes completely changed across formats when MS Dhoni took over as captain. Rahul Dravid stepped down as Test captain after guiding India to a series win in England in 2007. After that, Dhoni took charge of the ODI and T20I team. In his maiden assignment, Dhoni led India to the title in the inaugural World T20I which remains India’s only World T20I title till date. Anil Kumble, on the other hand, replaced Dravid as the Test captain.
In 2007–08, they toured Australia where India lost the highly controversial Test series 2–1 but managed to win the CB series. In 2009, under Dhoni’s captaincy, India beat New Zealand away for the first time in 41 years. In the same year, they beat Sri Lanka 2-0 to move to the top of ICC Test rankings for the first time. They retained the ranking by drawing series against South Africa and Sri Lanka. In October 2010, India whitewashed Australia 2–0 in the home test series, giving them back-to-back series wins against them. Later that year, India National cricket team managed to draw the Test series in South Africa at 1–1.
In 2011, Dhoni guided India to World Cup title. The Men in Blue beat Sri Lanka in the final to end the long 28-year wait for a World Cup. India also became the first team to win the World Cup on home soil.
India National Cricket Team Sponsorship
BYJU's is the Indian team's title sponsor. The Educational technology firm tookover the rights from OPPO, who was supposed to be the title sponsor between 2017 and 2022, on 5th September 2019.
India National Cricket Team Jersey
Although the jerseys kept on changing over the next few years, the prominent of them all was the dark blue one with a splash of tricolor.Apart from that in 2007, when it had a sky blue colour, the Indian national team has stuck with the dark blue along with some or the other hint of the tricolour. After acquiring the manufacturing rights for the team in 2005, Nike has been regularly designing and providing the new jerseys for the Men in Blue. The current jersey by Nike has a bolder ultramarine blue shade with the tricolour accent placed near the chest.

The CSF Evo X was never in the cards. Not even in my wildest dreams did I think I’d ever build an Evo. Like most everyone else, I’ve been a fan of Evo’s for a long time. But I never really had the burning desire to own one myself… if that makes any sense. So to have one at all is a little crazy. And to have one built at this level – is totally nuts!
Here’s the backstory:
I was at GMG at the end of November in 2016… just after SEMA. I was dropping off my Porsche 996tt for it’s yearly maintenance. And being that I’m good friends with the guys who work over there, I was walking around the shop with the Allan Ward (the GM), looking at some of the cars stye had in house. In the back of the race car building, was this damaged Evo X roller sitting on top of rack. I was perplexed on why GMG, a motorsports and high-end Euro company, had this Evo X there in the first place, amongst a sea of Porsches, R8’s, McLarens, etc.
Turns out the car belonged to one of their customers, Barry Zigler (owner of Swisher Sweets). He had the desire to race an Evo X, so they obliged. He raced it in the Pirelli World Challenge… and crashed it at the Long Beach Grand Prix. They bought another shell straight from Mitsubishi Motorsports to build the car up again, but by that time, Barry had moved on & decided that he wanted to race something else.
Get Baited
So for 3 years – this car sat in the back of GMG, with about 3 warehouse-bins full or race car parts, OEM parts, and spares… all sitting there. They had recently cleaned it up a bit… hoping that somebody would notice it and get baited. Well it worked… because that someone was me! I made a deal with the owner, James Safronas, to take everything. That was more his deal, than mine lol. I couldn’t just take what I wanted… it was all or nothing, as James wanted everything to do with this car gone!
He Said $25k.
I said $20k.
I told him I needed to go to the PRI show & handle some business… and that I would think about it. I called my good friend, Alex from Sheepey Built, and told him the deal. He said it was a no-brainer at that price, and told me to go pick the thing up! He said that if I did, he’d help me build something “epic”. So I came home from PRI about 10 days later to pick up my Porsche, and the deal was done. We met in the middle at $22,500… for everything.
A crashed Pirelli World Challenge car with the cage already in it + high end race car parts + all the spares. Since I travel to Toronto quite often for work, Alex from Sheepey Built told me to go meet Marco from Magnus Motorsports. “Work your magic & get him to jump on board with this project and let’s get some of his components for this build”, he said.
So that’s how Marco got involved with the project haha. And it turns out – we’ve become good friends in the process.
SEMA
With the goal of presenting the car at SEMA 2017, I wanted to work with my SoCal industry friends. I needed to work with people I could trust to get the car done in time. People who understood not just the trends & high-quality work… but the real meat & bones of the aftermarket industry, its deadlines, and the importance of a trade show like SEMA. These companies, are regarded as the best in the business in their area of expertise: Rywire, LTMW, Sheepey Built, MotoIQ, ASC Speed Metal, etc.
My goal for this build was to showcase the sum of what the best companies from SoCal could make – working together. Every company focusing on their own area of expertise, and being handed a blank canvas to showcase their work.
Logistically, the project became super-challenging for everyone involved. It really pushed everyone to the max… especially with the SEMA deadline as a critical component. I think it’s been one of the most challenging projects all the partners have ever been involved with, especially since not many of us actually work with Evo’s on a regular basis. It was challenging no doubt. But it’s also an extraordinary adrenaline/energy rush that a lot of us in the industry thrive on.
In the end, I think it’s been such a rewarding experience, and we’ve strengthened our friendships over the build. That’s something that I’m very proud. The cars will come and go, whether they’re Evos, Hondas, Porsches, or whatever… as will the trends. But the teamwork, friendships, camaraderie, and overall pulling-together really embodies what this tuning culture is all about!
