Two Weeks of Whump: Summary

Well the challenge has since past, but I just wanted to thank everyone again for taking part! I think I’ll keep this challenge as a yearly thing to mark the blogs anniversary - but I’ll organise it for the month of June so it doesn’t clash with Whumpmas In July!

There were many great submissions and I enjoyed checking them out! (Though I am very sorry if I missed anyone - please tell me if I did! - I did try my best to lurk in the tags/mentions)

Over on AO3 there have been 25 fics across 11 fandoms!

Fandoms: Avatar (James Cameron Film), The Amazing Spiderman, Batman, Detroit: Become Human, Empires SMP, Gravity Falls, Merlin, Sly Cooper, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, The Transformers (IDW Generation One) Venom.

Here on Tumblr there have been approx.128 posts across 20 fandoms (not including original/OC works), and 16 different users with posts ranging from giftsets, art, fanfics and original works!

Favorite Color: Purple. Or orange.

Last Song: Broken, by Lauren Hoffman. I was uh... maybe working on some Lucrecia fanfic.

Last Movie: ... Huh. What was the last movie I watched? I have a baby now, so I generally don't do movies in my free time anymore. I mostly just turn on music and try to get some words out. To be fair, I've never been a HUGE movie buff. My favorite two movies though are The Last Unicorn (which I've been thinking about a lot because I read it to my daughter and something I was writing a while back gave me major Molly Grue vibes-- YOU KNOW THE SCENE) and the Fifth Element (which is, in my humble opinion, as close to a perfect movie as we have come).

Currently Watching: Haaaah, much like movies, I just don't watch much by way of tv shows anymore. I was watching a lot earlier in the year when I was breastfeeding and pumping though. I am watching "Reborn as a Vending Machine, I Now Wander the Dungeon," and feeling REALLY weird about how damn much I am enjoying it, as well as trying to make time to watch the "Arknights" anime.

Other Stuff I Watched This Year: "Campfire Cooking in Another World with My Absurd Skill," "My Life as a Villainess," and "BOFURI: I Don't Want to Get Hurt, So I'll Max Out My Defense." ... I know, these are all anime. Look. When I was pumping, I had 30-40 minute blocks to watch things. That's exactly the wrong length of time for "regular" TV, but perfect for anime.

Shows I Dropped This Year: Basically everything, and often through no fault of the show itself. The simple fact is, even though I've been watching anime which is usually considered "trashier" than "real" TV, there's just very little "real" TV that I'm currently excited over.

Currently Reading: I am on a reread of my favorite 30+ romance novel series. I have 34 books in this series to read! It's phenomonal when you read as fast as I do. I mean, do the plots/characters all blur together after like, book 10? Of course they do. But they do that on fanfiction too for me.

#292 for @shaundak21: Another future blip! This one was taken during the Blackbirds’ second week rotation and technically, it should have been posted by now, but I had to divide the rotation into two parts and I still haven’t gotten around to queuing the second part (even though it’s done), so yeah. Better get to queuing those pics! o_O

#271 for Anon: More extras from the Blackbird rotation! Just Marcus and his dad having a nice chat up in the attic of their hut in the dead of the night. Ya know, as one does.

#80 for @sims-influence: An extra pic of Alistair’s Observatory, taken from a slightly different angle. I think I was still in the process of building the lot when I took this pic, so when the time came to make an official photoset to showcase the build, it was discarded in favor of newer shots. Still a pretty pic tho!

#223 for @sims-influence: An extra/outtake from this photoshoot with the elves. Their faces on this one are hilarious, but that hair clipping is giving me nightmares. xD

#65 for Anon: A rare non-BaCC screenshot: this is a copy of Zarathustra’s Rivendell lot I plopped into a throwaway hood for testing. Unfortunately, I found that the lot contains character data (what is it with the lot builders on MTS not knowing how to clean up their lots before uploading? -___-’), so I took a few reference pics of the towers and other interesting architectural features in case I decide to remake a non*corrupt version of the lot in my own hood.

Happy birthday!! Man, time flies. I feel like last year was just yesterday ��

And yet we’re 1/4 done of this year already, it’s been a surreal ride since January though and honestly, I’m so done with 2020 that as far as I’m concerned we could just skip to 2021 already.
