When it comes to Catloversshipping, they exist in a curious mix and match of the games and anime in which @isamajor and I pick and choose whatever I want to fit my headcanons.

And when it comes to Team Rocket, they either are always in missions far far away from Alola to the point of never interacting directly with Giovanni and Nanu, or they're right behind them trying to help the Boss "get that old geezer!"

Except they're so useless Nanu finds them hilarious and half-adopts them in his own distant, apparently uncaring way. They're like Team Skull but with the added bonus of pissing off Giovanni by ruining his dramatic boss moments, what's not to like?

Two Weeks of Whump: Summary

Well the challenge has since past, but I just wanted to thank everyone again for taking part! I think I’ll keep this challenge as a yearly thing to mark the blogs anniversary - but I’ll organise it for the month of June so it doesn’t clash with Whumpmas In July!

There were many great submissions and I enjoyed checking them out! (Though I am very sorry if I missed anyone - please tell me if I did! - I did try my best to lurk in the tags/mentions)

Over on AO3 there have been 25 fics across 11 fandoms!

Fandoms: Avatar (James Cameron Film), The Amazing Spiderman, Batman, Detroit: Become Human, Empires SMP, Gravity Falls, Merlin, Sly Cooper, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, The Transformers (IDW Generation One) Venom.

Here on Tumblr there have been approx.128 posts across 20 fandoms (not including original/OC works), and 16 different users with posts ranging from giftsets, art, fanfics and original works!

Last Song: Broken, by Lauren Hoffman. I was uh... maybe working on some Lucrecia fanfic.

Last Movie: ... Huh. What was the last movie I watched? I have a baby now, so I generally don't do movies in my free time anymore. I mostly just turn on music and try to get some words out. To be fair, I've never been a HUGE movie buff. My favorite two movies though are The Last Unicorn (which I've been thinking about a lot because I read it to my daughter and something I was writing a while back gave me major Molly Grue vibes-- YOU KNOW THE SCENE) and the Fifth Element (which is, in my humble opinion, as close to a perfect movie as we have come).

Currently Watching: Haaaah, much like movies, I just don't watch much by way of tv shows anymore. I was watching a lot earlier in the year when I was breastfeeding and pumping though. I am watching "Reborn as a Vending Machine, I Now Wander the Dungeon," and feeling REALLY weird about how damn much I am enjoying it, as well as trying to make time to watch the "Arknights" anime.

Other Stuff I Watched This Year: "Campfire Cooking in Another World with My Absurd Skill," "My Life as a Villainess," and "BOFURI: I Don't Want to Get Hurt, So I'll Max Out My Defense." ... I know, these are all anime. Look. When I was pumping, I had 30-40 minute blocks to watch things. That's exactly the wrong length of time for "regular" TV, but perfect for anime.

Shows I Dropped This Year: Basically everything, and often through no fault of the show itself. The simple fact is, even though I've been watching anime which is usually considered "trashier" than "real" TV, there's just very little "real" TV that I'm currently excited over.

Currently Reading: I am on a reread of my favorite 30+ romance novel series. I have 34 books in this series to read! It's phenomonal when you read as fast as I do. I mean, do the plots/characters all blur together after like, book 10? Of course they do. But they do that on fanfiction too for me.

Hey I've got a question if you want to answer, but do you have any headcanonns for catloversshipping? I desperately want more content of them and I've read your fics on AO3 which is really good btw!

First of all, thanks for reading my fics !

Second of all, If I have headcanons ??

BOY IF I HAVE HEADCANONS!!!

@isamajor (whose Nanu/Giovanni fics are Perfect and highly recommended if you like these two) and I are THRIVING on catloversshiping headcanons!

In no particular order :

Nanu had several lovers. So did Giovanni. Lovers they cared for and satisfied them. And yet everytime they meet again, they're drawn to each other like magnets. Sometimes to the detriment of their lovers.

Who in Interpol knew about the relationship ? Depends on how angsty I want the story to be, but generally, I consider several people suspected...but at the same time, Nanu was one of the only agents who could go straight into the Nemelios' den and come back alive. If the price to pay was his dignity, that was his business, the higher ups thought.

At least on two separate occasions, Nanu was removed from anything related to Team Rocket because even the most permissive superiors had to draw the line. Two weeks later, he would be called back in a hurry because things were getting out of hand.

As for Team Rocket, Giovanni was the absolute boss, so even if people suspected something, no one would dare to say a thing...or so Giovanni hoped. In reality, he was very careful about which grunts or admins he involved in his feud with Nanu. For example, Archer was so insanely jealous that Giovanni never let him know the full extent of his relationship with Nanu. Instead, he sicced him on Nanu here and now. Keeping him too busy with the chase to question why Giovanni didn't simply eliminate this troublesome agent. Officially, Team Rocket thought Giovanni manipulated Nanu, and Interpol thought Nanu was the one manipulating Giovanni.

While my main headcanon is "Interpol Agent Zeroes went undercover in Team Rocket and that's where he met Giovanni", I'm still obsessed with the Phone Discussion and how Giovanni implies strongly that it's both amusing yet fitting that Nanu became a kahuna and a cop. And I'm DYING to know why. Was Nanu a part of a criminal ring before switching sides ? Is it ironic because he didn't care about spirituality, or on the contrary was he part of some kind of cult ? And most of all, HOW DO YOU KNOW EACH OTHER??

I'm not kidding when I say that dropping the Nanu & Giovanni plotline is the biggest let down of the Sun & Moon anime. Still bitter about it.

Giovanni being a Viridian Forest kid (the haunting grounds of Celebi) who later specialized in Ground Type and Nanu being affiliated with the elusive Fairy/Grass Tapu Bulu hnnnnnggggg I love that kind of stuff.

My only theory is the hate is actually on Jamine's end. Like, imagine this girl in utter, all consuming FURY because this man abuses Pokémon. We're talking surface of the sun hot hatred.

And he has no idea she's plotting his murder.

NO ONE SUSPECTS THE ... *checks notes* ...'The steel-clad defence girl' ... sweetie, we got to work on that title.

So I was checking out a list of the Secret Titles on Serebii, and apparently it's on-sight and Very Fucking Personal™ between these two.

I added the first Sims for Arnold. Except one are all made by my followers (Phlox Kleur is just an old legacy Sim by azkibear I once had in my game and can be found here, he is not an Alien, I just wanted him in my game. ^^). The other 7 Sims are (from left to right): 1. Aster (as young adult) by @pixeldolly 2. Theodus (as young adult, with different skin since it didn’t work for ya) by @basic-fictional-simmer 3. Alien (gave him a name, just can’t remember now) by @lesyasun 4. Namzib by @yakumtsaki 5. Zena Homunculus (very interesting face) by @esotheria-sims 6. Mathilde by @isamajor 7. Marion by @luverofralts If they were using the original Alien skin I changed them to something similiar since they would look very different with my default skin. I will add some other Sims I found to my game (need a few more to get 8) and hopefully I can start my little Arnold, the Bachelor on the weekend. :)
