Video: Isabella Kirkland | The Beauty of Wildlife -- And an Artistic Call to Protect it
âI think of my paintings as alarm clocks,â says artist Isabella Kirkland. âTheyâre reminders of whatâs at stake; the only problem is we keep pushing the snooze button.â Investigating humanityâs relationship to nature, she shares work that takes a creative stand against ecological despair â and quietly urges climate action through permanent images of vanishing wildlife. With an abiding interestâŚ

This is what to expect at any event with Emily/Amelia; All the snacks gone and her complaining about dirtying her dress which she's been looking forward to wearing after seeing pple on tiktok wearing it. This time she almost choked but everyone else is like 'we told you, gurl' and Alice-rose is like 'you'd think she'd even remember the lessons in manners and courtesy I taught her in the past.....'
I tried to make everyone--most specifically Francine--look like they're at the met gala or on the red carpet. Alice-rose is in a vintage hollywood outfit bc as much as she criticizes Amelia's culture, she actually liked the olden days which she thought fit her elegant taste. And yes, she is wearing Vivienne Westwood jelly heart heels like a true English lady đđđđđđ

Unfinished USUK Twilight AU (2022)
-------
Forks, Washington, USA
It was a damp, drizzling Monday morning at Forks, Washington when Forkâs High School English and Biology teacher exchanged snide greetings at the staff meeting.
âDismal morning, Mr Jones.â
âI donât have the energy to pretend to like you today, Artie.â
âItâs okay if you donât like me. Not everyone has good taste.â
President Williams coughed to get their attention, smiling with resilient tolerance, âAre we done?â
â...â
âYep.â
âGood. Great. Sorry Toris, please continue.â
----------------------------------
Alfred cringed as he sent the new student, Isabella Swan, daughter of Fordâs police chief, to the seat next to Edward Cullen. That guy was an oddball, not the sort you wanted to make a first Forks impression. Swan might be misled to believe thereâs more depth to this town. Donât build unreasonable expectations, bud, Alfred thought.
Cullen glared at him.
Ek. To be honest with himself, which he tried to do, Alfred had a suspicion that Cullen could read his mind. It could be coincidental, but everytime he approached an experimental recipe (typically including at least one pound of beef, concentrated soda syrup and doughnuts) during brainless lecturing Cullen turned a vague shade of green. Whatever.
Alfred began todayâs lecture on cellular anatomy, wiping his eyes as inconspicuously as possible when Cullen not-so-inconspicuously sniffed Ms Swan (what the fuck), made a face (haha), and leaned as far away from his partner (HA!), on the verge of toppling his chair. I guess the sunny essence of Phoenix doesnât sit well with emos.
When the bell rang for next period Alfred was hardly breathing, twitching from the effort to not burst out laughing. The last student filtered out and Alfred rushed to his office to muffle gasping cries into a jacket.
Alfred was still shaking when he jerkily lowered the jacketâ and promptly brought it back up for a second round of belly aching laughter. It was justâ their faces. Swan on the edge of tears, Cullen with shoulders touching his ears and this look of revulsion.
â----------------------------------
When hysterics dissolved to the occasional cough someone knocked the office door and he jumped.
âAh-hem,â the Biology teacher cleared his throat and straightened his frazzled appearance. âCome in!â
In walked Arthur Kirkland with a Dunkinâ pastry bag, coffee and tea in hand. He set all three on the desk and appraised Alfred, âDissecting onions, Jones?â
Jonesâ glasses slid down his nose when shook his head ânoâ, âThatâs next Monday.â

Suggs, Anclote High School - Gianna Walsh, Fivay High School Class Quotes The Youth Leadership Pasco program is truly one of a kind. Throughout the program I have made lifelong friendships, restored old ones, and got a much deeper grasp of what happens in Pasco County. My favorite part of the program was the sheriff's department. We got to see just how big the department truly is and the amazing technology they are incorporating into their line of work. I used to only want to leave Pasco County but throughout this program I have found a new love for it and all of the amazingopportunities it has to o ffer. I can truly see myself living here forever. - Noah J. Downey,Sunlake High School "As I reflect on my time in the Pasco Youth Leadership, a moment that stands out for me was when the program had economic day. That day I and many others in my group learned about how our leaders here in Pasco County work tirelessly to grow and provide new opportunities to all those who live in its community. It was that day that I realized it does not take someone who is in a high position to be a leader but someone who genuinely cares for their community and the people who reside in it. The program allowed its members to meet many leaders form doctors to business leaders and even our very own superintendent of schools Kurt Browning. In the end I am profoundly grateful for the privilege of being part of this amazing program, the Pasco Youth Leadership program. It has been an amazing experience that has given all who have joined new experiences, skills, and memories that can be taken further on the journey we call life." - Ethan A. Mendez, Cypress Creek high School About Youth Leadership Pasco Youth Leadership Pasco was founded in 1999 by the Leadership Pasco Class of 1998 and graduated its first class of youth in 2000.
