maybe weird ? but ive always wanted 2 watch adventure time. but the sheer size of it intimidates me.. would i be able to watch fionna and cake as a sort of first dip into it?

to be honest, the size IS intimidating, but considering each episode is literally like 10 mins long (and the fact that it gets like. insanely better even just season by season) id reccomend taking a shot even if youre intimidated!! the first two or so seasons are pretty slow (kids show) & alot of those episodes are skippable, i SWEAR somewhere on tumblr someone made a watchlist of the best episodes but i cant find it atm :(

if its still too intimidating ! if you know general stuff about adventure time already, you could probably start with fionna and cake! there'll be a lot of stuff u dont pick up on and personally i really love how it is as an epilogue, but its a good start. (personally i think its kinda. better than adventure time itself. not every original at episode but its probably just cuz im older now)

personally. i'd watch every season 1-3 episode with Marceline in it (im biased) (s1: ep12, ep 22 - s2: ep1, ep20, ep26 - s3 ep3, ep10, ep21) (also because often episodes w her in it show a good amount of plot & character relationships and worldbuilding. obviously theres more like these but every marceline episode is good) and then Incendium (s3 ep26) and further, which id say is sort of the point in the show where the actual order of episodes and timeline is important

count how many times i say personally on this post . fionna and cake has a buncha big spoilers that i think are much better when watching the show itself, but i get that its freakishly long hdjsbjd. if you watch fionna and cake you'll probably want to watch adventure time after anyway (though its a LOT sillier) so do whatever ur heard desires!

ive watched jay exci's excellent 5 hour fucking dissertation The Fall of Doctor Who now almost twice in 24 hours (it talks about the problems of chris chibnals writing for dr who) and took away from it a number of things for my own writing, one of which being a renewed understanding that dr who has always been political and the episodes that arent political are political but just hide it better

so im making a list of things im mad about enough to make central themes in stories and just Man... lot of things to be mad about... most of which pointing back to the importance of money, and the idea of a nation, over the people who are supposed to be governed by their elected government

I hope you don't mind me asking but... How do you learn to draw furries? I've been drawing in general sense I was able to hold a pencil, and while I used to love drawing animals as a kid I've lost the motivation and joy. I love furries though and would love to draw anthros but I just can't find any good starting points. Any books? Websites? General advice? Thanks alot if you end up replying!

hmm its hard to say how i exactly learnt it, i too, was obsessed with animals (,,,,wolves) as a kid so learning how to draw them came quite naturally because of how much i drew themxd

I dont know any books, but when it comes to learning to draw anything i think tracing and studying your favourite artists work is a good way to progress (you dont claim the traced work it as your own ofc but by studying other peoples work you notice shortcuts and stylistic choices they make which can be really helpful), drawing from life is also useful but furries are usually very stylised so maybe not as much helpful as it would be whilst drawing other subjects. (ALSO i remember when i used to study other peoples work id do 3 attempts, each with a different technique like this)

If youre having trouble with the bodies which are pretty humanoid in furries i do reccomend the website Lineofaction which makes you do quick gesture studies (theyll look crappy in the beggining but dw about it everybody has to start somewhere!) But most of all dont get discouraged! Things will not always turn out perfectly but for most artists theres so many bad paintings and bad art and once in a while they put out something good. Do things at your own pace and youll get there

heyy i know ur a kamen rider fan n i wanted to ask u what series i should start with :P im not sure whats good and whats not so id appreciate some reccomendations

Hi anon I am probably the worst person to ask I had just about the funniest introduction to Kamen rider (boyfriend made me watch a mid-end series movie bc of a joke we made) BUT. I can tell you that most of my friends started with den-o and that it was a very good introduction to the franchise! It's a bit slower which can make it harder to get into if you have a lot of other kr under your belt (especially heisei 2 and reiwa series) but this makes it a good way to ease yourself into it! I've also heard that kuuga is a good place to start for similar reasons, though I haven't seen it yet personally so I can't confirm or deny (but one of my friends with great taste highly recommends). Good luck with however you start Kamen rider is insanely fun

Hello, sorry if my newient to the fandom is a little annoying. But I got a teroy (I don't know if anyone else has the same idea) about Penny and Jane so here ya go.

Penny and Jane doe are the same person. They both have dolls (from what I can see) that look similar. One has a head and the other matches Jane. They also have simmler singing voices. I haven't seen the musical but I have heard the album all week long. But that all the evidence I have on that teroy.
