I actually have managed to be somewhat productive today and actually got some blog things tweaked! I am still in need of facing the dreaded enemy that is 'Blog Tags' - however Daniel is somewhat impatient... soooo if anyone wants to plot or throw something this way, you'd make at least Daniel very pleased!

Ah evening everyone, I just wanted to stop by and say hello to y'all since it's been a hot minute. As well as give a bit of an update somewhat.

I'm not gonna be on here much. Mainly because I've been super busy with work and I'm dealing with a reoccurring health issue that I've already dealt with a few times before so I'll be busy with doctor's visits and whatnot. It's nothing life threatening, cuz I've gone through this issue twice but it may require surgery so I'll be pretty booked up for awhile.

I have no idea when I'll be back, but I just wanted to let y'all know that I'm not like abandoning my blog or anything. I'll just be away for a time. Anyways I hope y'all have a wonderful night and hopefully I'll see y'all soon. :)

i miss world building and lore building and plot twist writing and fantasy sh*te...i should write that book i never finished tbh, but you know what i might do instead? make a blog where i just post world/plot/lore idea stuff for fun.......or start posting that kind of thing here in relation to my characters

I'm always afraid of doing too much OOC posting, but I guess if it's relevant to the characters it's probably fine??? is it fine? i know i like seeing people talk about lore and headcanon stuff and drabbles on the dash, but somehow I feel like if I do it it'll be annoying...

This Halloween is disappointment for me this year. I couldn't do the Halloween event like i wanted due to work and other things. I'm also working tonight. Bleh.

So after work I'll answer some trick or treat ask memes, then I'm just gonna vibe, suck back candy and stream CotL tonight on twitch.

Also want to note, based on the last post, that I'm now going to be shifting muses between the 'Primary' and 'Secondary' muses pages as appropriate.

I've wanted to do this for a while - as my muse fluctuates, shuffle the characters who I have most muse for onto the primary list and those who I'm currently less inspired for onto the secondary list - but it just didn't really work out when one list was using unique artwork for the characters and the other still just had screencaps, since mixing the two would look messy. Now that I can use the same style of image for both, though, I'm going to put this into practice ^^

Well, while i’m dealing with the frustration that is trying to reset my forgotten password on insta-- How about i treat the dash to more rambling about food fantasy? Seeing as i haven’t talked about that verse in a hot minute lol--

Okay, so first fun fact up-- the main reason i haven’t indulged in this verse in ages, aside from the fact that i’ve seen almost no one here on tumblr playing muses from it-- is because it mainly exists as a verse thanks to writing with a discord friend i’ve lost contact with going on a couple years ago now-- which... does admittedly bring a touch of pain to said verse--

Next up, is the fact that thanks to his status of not being a master attendant in said verse, Minato actually hasn’t had contact with very many food souls-- in fact, going off past writing record as a reference-- He’s interacted with Whiskey, Pizza, Tequila, and Martini-- with him and Whiskey having the most “history” together, thanks to past plotting that had been in place lol

And to continue on from that last point... Minato had a roommates/fwb situation going on with Whiskey-- (which yes, given how Whiskey is, i realize was a disaster in the making lol) thanks to mainly to a chance meeting via his work at the rabbit shop... followed by an unfortunate incident of (more or less) blackmail that ended in Minato being kicked from his apartment-- and in the end going to Whiskey, because he didn’t want to burden Itsuki by staying with him--

(i’m also big time sad that i may have lost the starter/drabble i wrote in relation to Minato losing his apartment-- thanks to losing access to the server we used to write on-- because i actually really enjoyed the way i wrote that piece at the time--)

Mun Writing Ramblings Again

An update to the previous post.

I am happy to say that after a year and a half of making no headway on Amon's story, once I figured out what I needed to know, I was able to write over 5K of unedited words to move forward again!

I have 7 chapters of writing that I need to clean up, but that I hope to post daily on through Dawntrail early access. I'm pleased with how all the elements came together - I was bringing in plot points that I'd developed way back in Shadowbringers for this.

I'm also pleased that it ends on an upbeat note. It's been somewhat hard to stay optimistic about some of my work since 6.0 shook my world. I know it doesn't seem like it because I try very hard to put a positive foot forward when I post here.

Just know that I've been feeling better than I have in a long time about Amon's story and about Amon as a muse. It's been refreshing, and I hope to share that with you.

I've boiled down all my headcanons and logic on this page here - which used to be my theory page when 6.0 first dropped. If you want a TL;DR version of what I've drafted in story form, you can find it here!

Lore policing - I am a firm believer in "bend the lore all you want so long as you can logically explain it". Translation: don't police what I do, you're not going to get anywhere with it.

General jackassery - Just don't be a douche, it's not that hard.

After watching the trailer 10x times, I wanted to share my thoughts on it, and the changes!!

Aka mun takes this as a chance to ramble about Hazbin Hotel-

Okay, here we go!

I'm sad to see the og voices go, but now that we've been able to hear the new ones, I'm not as disappointed. Alastor, Husk, and Vox's new voices(i know Vox never REALLY had a voice, but i mean the iconic fan made one) threw me off guard HARD. And not in a bad way!! I like Alastor’s, it's more upbeat, yet it can also be intimidating like how Edward's was. Husk's voice is a BIG change!! I do like how it's now more smooth sounding, although it's still a bit difficult to match the voice to the face. Vox's voice made me cackle. I adore how it sounds, and it makes him hard "I'm better than you" nerd vibes. Or John Mulaney.

The updated animation and artstyle is BEAUTIFUL!!! Everything looks so clean and smooth, it's truly amazing what the HH team has done. MAJOR props to them!!

The fact we have yet to hear Sir Pentious is a bit concerning, but also exciting. It's been revealed his VA will be Alex Brightman, which is a bit strange that have yet to hear him. But we'll definitely be hearing him in the show!

I'm sorry I have to ramble about the stupid ass deer man- I'm very excited to see whether he plays the belated villain or if he's fighting alongside Charlie! As he says in the trailer, "It's time I remind everyone why I'm here" followed by a clip of him going (assumably) full/near full Radio Demon. Although it's not clarified whether he's talking to Charlie, the entirely of Hell, or to Lucifer/Adam. I can't wait to see how he acts in the show, and how/if he makes relationships/friendships with the others! Remember, he's the Radio Demon. He's an asshole- It also intrigues me that when it shows him using his powers, it looks like he's melting a bit. Either way, in quote of Alastor himself, "This is going to be very entertaining!"

Charlie and Vaggie are adorable together. But it does look like they're going to have some struggles in the show with maybe their relationship. Probably- based on what we've seen in the pilot and the clips for the series, Vaggie is very skeptical about Charlie's whole plan, while Charlie just wants her to trust in her.

All in all, I cannot WAIT to watch Hazbin Hotel, and see where these characters and story lead!

PATCHNOTES: taeyeon 2.0; elaborating on changes and sharing some of my vision... long and rambly lol (+ pinterest link for visual learners)

i'm aware that changing tae's fc to cha eunwoo strips him of his unspoken twink card BUTTT considering the direction that i think that infinite (lol me but you know.....Narrative) is pushing him in (very focused on sensuality and physicality rather than letting his artistry speak for itself, think of taemin's earlier concept except instead of catholic guilt, the common thread is loss of innocence / the fact that you Will see him half naked) and Has been pushing him in since he was like 19, that was never really his jurisdiction. i also think that his slightly deranged dgaf vibe could be contrasted really nicely by a very traditional, universal look. i think part of his marketability is that he Looks Like That and then he opens his mouth and you're a lil bit like oh! is this allowed? 😭 and anyway, i think that's something i associate with cha eunwoo as a person. he's everywhere and a legitimately interesting and charismatic person, but he's only ever given credit for his looks by people who can't be bothered to look that little bit deeper.

taeyeon is the half-way point between being a corporate doll and a flight risk (which i think i highlighted pretty well in his timeline posts, hopefully, with him quite literally being shoved into the dungeon for stepping too far out of infinite's imaginary box for him last year), and his budding career as a soloist is kind of their way of keeping him in check and giving him Just Enough freedom as an artist to maintain the narrative (can't as a pre-release being entirely written and produced by taeyeon, most of the songs on his debut tracklist being written or contributed to by him to some capacity (although on a mun level, i do think a lot of what could've been on this album was scrapped, because this is a project that's been in the works for years at this point and so little of it is still his own)), while simultaneously keeping him where they want him by controlling all other aspects of his musical identity (close as the title track kind of undermining the vulnerability of his pre-release single and making his sex appeal the selling point again). as he's older now, this is something that started even earlier in his career, so in some ways, he's a little more jaded and traumatized, and in others, he's a little more free... there'll be more updates behind the scenes as time goes on and i think a little more critically about pivotal points in his career and how much earlier they'd have happened, or at all. i'm debating the logistics of his lil mini hiatus manifesting as his military service a la kai since it seems more plausible than him just hardly being on the album that year at all for no defensible reason djdnjdd

thanks for coming to my very unnecessary ted talk about taeyeon's fc change lol i think hyunjin was a really good, really style and vibe adjacent fit for taeyeon, but i think eunwoo covers some of that and more that i think just suits him best for what i've pictured!!! especially considering he started out as sunghoon. that, and it feels more appropriate on a personal level for his fc to be older considering all of the above....
