Kat i would die for you don’t even worry i will talk about anything about jubilee no matter how many times i’ve talked about it before

she’s actually usually in her armor (plate armor with a purple cloak and a yellow sun on it) because of the “i’m most comfortable when i’m impervious to most forms of physical attacks” thing god i love her. and when she’s not in armor she’s usually in a plain belted tunic (usually purple if she can get it), plain pants, and either shoeless or sandals. she dresses up for dates with DeLune because the need to be fancy and feel pretty outweighs her plainer tastes. she’s like...super buff tho and therefore she can only wear some of the more durable fabrics because the “flexed and the sleeves fell off” is something that might happen with fancy dresses

she--i’ve actually drafted up what she carries in her pockets, here’s what i have written (never posted this before tho so don’t worry): “Her holy symbol is around her neck so not that, but a bit of string (never know when you might need string), a wrapped sweet of some kind, a pretty rock or something simple like that, a small journal filled with notes written in terrible penmanship, a small fold out knife, and her latest whittling project”

signature objects and their significance....i think her most significant object is her holy symbol. i love talking about her holy symbol its so good. so her holy symbol used to be her mother’s old necklace, right? kind of like...think of if you took a cross that was a family heirloom and turned it into a powerful holy object that you could channel the will of your god through. so it’s old, the enamel covering it is worn and chipped and it’s kind of faded but it’s an object that has a history of love and care and jubilee loves having it as a reminder of her mother and how much her mother loved her and how proud she was of her when she became a cleric GOD i love maria waters and her relationship with jubilee

god...memories....i have this headcanon that she’s afraid of horses because she was almost trampled as a kid. you know, playing in the streets, ran after a ball and almost got ran over by a wagon, that sort of thing. she’s ok though, but she doesn’t really like horses and stays well away from them. 

there’s the headcanon i have that she hit a boy because he called her mother a witch (older unmarried woman, you know how it is) and then lost that fight ultimately because she was still a lanky kid with noodle arms (this is before she beefed the hell up). 

i have this other headcanon that there were two other tieflings in the whole town, both of them in their early twenties. she loved those two because they were examples for her. one was a trans guy who taught her how to play the lute, and the other was a girl and one of the teachers at the little school in town. 

the high priestess of the temple did Not like jubilee, that’s something i know for sure. she was an elf and she objected to a devilspawn being brought into the church. she eventually relented because there was nowhere else for jubilee to go and so she basically told maria that she and jubilee were on thin ice. and so this high priestess watched them like a hawk while jubilee was growing up (and was So Pissed when jubilee hit that kid) and she basically shot jubilee down when she first asked to be trained as a cleric (i think there’s a physical and written test that you have to pass one before you get into the training program, and then have to pass both before going onto the communion ceremony). then jubilee came back three years later and passed the physical test with flying colors (this is when and why she beefed up). then the high priestess couldn’t refuse jubilee entry to the program. and then she was just floored when jubilee became a full fledged cleric. and i’ve written that scene and i...here

Jubilee came out of her trance, eyes flickering open.

The first thing she was aware of was that it was far lighter than it had been when she first came into the courtyard.

As her eyes focused, she realized that the source of the light was her.

She raised her arms, looking at the radiant light that was emanating from her skin. She turned so that she could see Liana and her mother, seeing delight on her mother's face and a stern pride on Liana's.

Jubilee's smile widened.

"So I guess I’m a cleric now."

so yes. the high priestess grows to appreciate jubilee and is genuinely surprised when jubilee leaves mountainstop (her hometown). 

i...i think that’s it. gosh this is a lot. i’m not even sorry
