An Overiew About Infertility
An Overiew About Infertility
There is a myth surrounding infertility that it is a problem confined only to females which is not true. Causes of infertility can be due to male infertility too. There are thus equal chances for both men and women to be infertile. Due to poor dietary choices, high stress, a sedentary lifestyle, pathological conditions, and environmental factors, infertility in both men and women is not an uncommon problem. The number of couples coming forward for fertility treatment methods has also been increasing substantially. Fertility clinics offer comprehensive treatment for infertility under a single roof.  Altius hospital with multiple specialities is reliable destination if one is looking for fertility treatment as they have experts at IVF treatment.
Female infertility
Some of the causes of female infertility are PCOS/PCOD, Endometriosis, Obesity, Thyroid issues, Fibroids, Blocked fallopian tubes and Ovulation disorders. These conditions enhance the risk of miscarriages and impair the outcomes of assisted reproductive technologies (ART) and pregnancy when the body mass index exceeds the desired range.  However, all of the these conditions are treatable by an expert gynaecologist or an IVF doctor, that are both available at Lil Feet by Altius Hospitals
Male infertility
Male infertility could be low sperm production, abnormal sperm function or blockages that prevent the delivery of sperm, illnesses, injuries, chronic health problems and lifestyle choices. Low testosterone levels and reduced spermatogenesis associated with severe hypotestosteronemia may increase the chances of infertility.
Moreover, the frequency of androgen imbalance & erectile dysfunction also increases with increasing body mass index contributing to infertility in males.  Male infertility can be addressed and treated by an IVF doctor.
Specialized clinics
A fertility clinic visit is planned when most options offered to treat you or your partner have failed. An OBG specialist will advise to perform some simple tests or even a hormone blood test and also certain scans such as ultrasound and a sonohysterogram, also known as a hysterosalpingogram (HSG).  Even the male partner also requires urologist to check him out at the same time.
It is natural for one to opt for a facility that offers everything at one place instead of visiting multiple facilities. An IVF doctor specializes in treating infertility and hence is the right choice. Gynaecologists specially trained to deal with issues that surround reproductive organs and health can also address infertility issues.
Who can visit a fertility clinic?
People who are above the age of thirty-five and have difficulties in conceiving after trying for more than a year, women who have had a history of miscarriages and people who start their journey towards conception with existing risk factors or symptoms of infertility can visit an infertility specialist and begin their IVF treatment without any delay.
How infertility is treated at fertility clinics?
Treatment options depend on the individual’s unique circumstances and the root of their infertility. Thanks to technological advancements and highly skilled professionals who are able to deliver the best treatment available. Upon diagnosis, it will be decided whether only just one of the partners needs treatment or both the partners.
Some patients may require hormone or ovulation-supporting medicines, sometimes in conjunction with minor surgical procedures. In order to conceive, fertility experts perform assisted reproductive technology (ART). This refers to a variety of techniques that can aid in conception. ART involves techniques that facilitate egg fertilisation and aid the implantation of the fertilized egg in the uterine lining. The two most common fertility treatments we perform are:
Intrauterine insemination (IUI) & In vitro fertilisation (IVF)
In the former, healthy sperm are collected and administered directly into the uterus during the time of ovulation, whereas in the latter, eggs are fertilised by sperm in a laboratory before developing into an embryo in an artificial environment. The embryos thus developed are subsequently introduced into the uterus.
Other types of ART for which, we are specialised include, egg or embryo donation), cryopreservation (also known as freezing your eggs, sperm, or embryos) and gestational carriers (also known as surrogacy).
Conclusion
One can determine which treatments are most effective for them by speaking with our specialist at Lil Feet by Altius Hospitals who specialises in pregnancy care as well as treatment for infertility.

How to Find Out If I Have PCOS
Polycystic ovarian syndrome (PCOS) is an ovarian disorder in which hormone imbalances lead to a variety of difficult symptoms. Some women who experience PCOS symptoms go on to have thinning hair or abnormal hair growth, while others will experience a change in their menstrual cycle. Skin outbreaks and acne can also be common side effects of PCOS, but this tends to affect younger women more than older women.
PCOS is believed to affect as much as 20% of the female population across the planet, and Hispanic women are more prone to the metabolic effects of PCOS. The condition is treatable, and symptoms may come and go over time. This means that it’s a good idea to get tested if you’re noticing the symptoms of PCOS.
Testing for PCOS
To find out if you have PCOS, you’ll need to take a test at your doctor’s office. A PCOS test will measure hormone levels along with other blood values to determine whether you’re suspected of having it. This condition is not well understood, but it is a common condition that does not usually pose any severe threat to overall health and wellness.
At-Home PCOS Tests
While the traditional method for PCOS testing is to have a test performed in a doctor’s office, you may also be able to use at home PCOS testing to determine if you’re a candidate for treatment. At home PCOS testing can deliver accurate results, but these tests are not a substitute for your doctor’s advice. If you use an at-home PCOS test, you are encouraged to make an appointment with your physician to discuss the results, regardless of the outcome.
How is PCOS Treated?
PCOS can be treated through various medications and lifestyle adjustments. In some cases, birth control pills can help to regulate hormones to reduce the symptoms. In others cases, diet and exercise changes can help to remove factors that aggravate PCOS. Only your doctor can provide you with guidance, so if you believe that you have PCOS or you’ve been diagnosed, contact your family physician to discuss your options.

What Are The Major Differences Between PCOD & PCOS?
PCOD
This condition is common among women in India and around the world.
It almost never interferes with fertility.
Women can become pregnant without much difficulty, with the assistance of certain medical professionals if necessary.
PCOD symptoms are mild and can be reversed with diet and lifestyle changes.
PCOS
In comparison, this condition is less common.
It interferes with fertility.
Women may find it more difficult to become pregnant as a result of irregular ovulation; it may also result in complications such as preterm birth or miscarriage.
To prevent complications from worsening, PCOS symptoms must be constantly monitored and treated.
When it comes to PCOD vs PCOS, medical experts Best Lady Gynecologist In Thane West believe the latter is far more severe and long-lasting because it is a metabolic disorder.
PCOD, on the other hand, is considered temporary and treatable through diet and exercise. However, both can contribute to infertility issues. Now that you know how PCOD differs from PCOS, be aware of the PCOD vs PCOS symptoms and seek medical attention for Menstrual Problems Treatment Thane

Tumblr media
What Are The Causes Of PCOS?
The exact cause of PCOS is still not clear, and this varies from woman to woman. As such, it can be genetic, while some women have PCOS because of insulin resistance. Insulin resistance means your body can’t use insulin well, and hence, insulin levels build up in your body, causing higher androgen levels. Furthermore, women who have PCOS must maintain their weight because obesity increases insulin levels, which make PCOS symptoms worse. Women with PCOS have higher androgen levels than normal women, and this prevents the ovaries from releasing an egg that causes acne and extra hair growth. Therefore; proper treatment and precaution is needed as it can create complications later in married life.
Can I Still Get Pregnant If I Have PCOS?
Yes, this is a fact: PCOS causes difficulty getting pregnant, but having PCOS doesn’t mean you can’t get pregnant. PCOS is one of the most common types of disorders in women, but it is treatable. You must consult your doctor about how to increase your chances of getting pregnant when you have PCOS. You can also use an ovulation calculator to know exactly which day is most likely to be fertile in your menstrual cycle. You must follow a balanced diet and a healthy routine in order to remain fit and active during pregnancy while having PCOS. You must also have a detoxification session because going through different treatments can be complicated and stressful, as well as making you anxious.
Is PCOS Linked To Other Health Problems?
Yes, medical studies have clarified that PCOS is linked with various health problems such as diabetes, high blood pressure, sleep apnoea, unhealthy cholesterol levels, endometrial cancer, depression, anxiety, and so on. Also, it has been found in research that more than half of women with PCOS will have diabetes by the age of 40. Furthermore, women with PCOS have high chances of LDL and low chances of HDL. Women with PCOS must take care of their cholesterol level because it can raise the risk of heart disease and stroke. Depression, anxiety, and sleep apnoea are also common among women with PCOS, and it raises the risk of heart disease and endometrial cancer. If you are looking for a doctor or hospital that can treat PCOS and PCOD disorder effectively and more efficiently, then give us a call. KD Blossom has a team of experienced gynecologists and specializes in mother and child care.
How Does PCOS Affect Pregnancy?
PCOS can be dangerous for you and your baby, hence proper treatment and precaution are needed for a safe and healthy pregnancy. Women with PCOS also have higher chances of miscarriage, caesarean sections, gestational diabetes, and preeclampsia than normal women. Furthermore, your baby also has a higher chance of spending more time in a neonatal intensive care unit (NICU) and a higher risk of having heavy macrosomia. You can lower the risk of problems that you might face during pregnancy while having PCOS. For instance, by maintaining a healthy weight before you get pregnant. You must also reach a healthy blood and sugar level and have a balanced diet with enough nutrients, proteins, and vitamins.
There is a myth that PCOS extends your fertile window, but this is not fact at all. Whether you have PCOS or not, your chances of conceiving are higher in your 20s, and they drop by 5% in your 30s. Visit KD Hospital for the best PCOS treatment in Ahmedabad. you have options! pain during periods is not 'normal' especially of it's almost disabling. if you can find a good gynaec: you may have an underlying condition that is treatable (PCOD, endometriosis, etc), some contraceptive options include the ability to skip periods as well, alternatively: OTC birth control pills can help but they do have side effects
legit I never even questioned period pain for the longest time,, hearing that it’s not supposed to be like. so painful I can’t get out of bed sometimes. is really insane. I might go see if I can get some pills or smth 👀👀

What is PCOD/PCOS??
PCOS is a condition that is prevalent in females and affects them very much. It is a significant ailment that affects young females primarily. It is a common endocrine disorder of unknown etiology, affecting 5-10% of women of reproductive age. The average age group suffering from PCOD varies between 18 and 45 years. The youth needs to understand this disease at its onset, along with the causes and implications in the future.
Polycystic ovary disorder or syndrome is a condition in which there are ovarian cysts around the edges. It makes the ovary enlarge and leads to excessive androgen and estrogen hormones, causing various bodily issues.
There are ladies specialist doctors in Gurgaon Who are there to help the females dealing with this issue and helping them get rid of this. Now the question arises that if you should be worried about this condition is the nod. The answer is, of course, yes because there are so many post complications due to this condition and especially in the time of pregnancy or for a female to get pregnant.
So if you are dealing with this issue and are now entering your gestational, it would help if you considered high-risk pregnancy doctors in Gurugram for this problem to have fewer to more minor complications in the future.
Indications of polycystic ovary disorder
The female affected with PCOS can have all of these symptoms or any of them
The first indication is irregular periods continuously for 2 to 3 months.
There can be unusual or heavy hair growth around the face or any other part of the body, which is not normal.
There can be heavy bleeding from the vagina area.
There is uncontrolled weight loss or weight gain.
You may suffer from unusual headaches
There can be problematic acne which is not easily treatable
Infertility is also one of the indications of having PCOS.
Dr. Ritu Sethi is a ladies specialist doctor in Gurgaon. They, from the past 20 years in dealing with such cases and successfully helped them to get rid of these indications and to make them understand the condition properly. She is a senior consultant in the obstetrics and gynecology department of cloud nine hospitals after 14.  The best thing about her is that you can consolidate online through our official website as soon as you feel the need to consult the doctor.
Complications due to PCOS
Uncontrolled PCOS can lead to numerous problems such as difficulty in conceiving, increased risk for early onset of type 2 diabetes. Patients with PCOS who become pregnant are at increased risk for perinatal complications such as gestational diabetes and pre-eclampsia. That's why you should consider a high-risk pregnancy doctor in Gurgaon.
Diagnosis
Diagnosis is the essential central park because if the diagnosis is precise, then only you can finalize if you are dealing with PCOS or not. It helps the doctor also to plan the best treatment possible.
A pelvic exam-  The doctor visually and manually inspects your reproductive organs for masses, growths, or other abnormalities.
Blood tests-  Your blood may be analyzed to measure hormone levels. This testing can exclude possible causes of menstrual abnormalities or androgen excess that mimics PCOS. You might have additional blood testing to measure glucose tolerance and fasting cholesterol and triglyceride levels.
Ultrasound- Your doctor checks your ovaries' appearance and the thickness of the lining of your uterus. A transducer is placed in your vagina (transvaginal ultrasound). The transducer emits sound waves that are translated into images on a computer screen.
And then, if it is confirmed that you have PCOS, your doctor might go for some more diagnoses like Regular check-ups on the period cycle, blood pressure, and glucose tolerance as well.
There can be done a screening of your sleep apnea and also of any mental issues if you are facing them or not.
Treatment possible and how you can help yourself in this
First of all, you should know your symptoms and work upon them so that you should already use those which will help you in the future.
Dietary changes are also helpful, which will indirectly help in reducing weight as well and maintaining the metabolism of the body.
There are a few medications that are also recommended by the gynecologist, which are Metformin which helps in controlling the insulin level in the body. Letrozole is the medicine that helps in the working of the ovaries and stimulates them. Gonadotropin, which is hormone medication, is given by injection, and Clomiphene, which is oral anti-estrogen medication, is taken during the first part of your menstrual cycle.
You should list all the symptoms which you are having and concentrate on reducing them.
Make a complete list of all the medications and lifestyle changes you had to include in your daily life.
Always watch for those things which give you more symptoms like having stress or anxiety, as if your mental condition will be good, it will help you a bit more to cope with PCOS.
Without delay, ask your doctor if you have any conclusions or questions in your mind.
There should be some important questions that you can ask your ladies specialist doctor in Gurgaon-
What all tests do you should go through?
How does PCOS affect a female in becoming pregnant?
List of all the medications which you have to take and when?
If you have to make any lifestyle changes or dietary changes?
Are there any long-term complications of having PCOS or not?
If you were having any other medical conditions and then how will you properly deal with all of them.
The treatment is always on a mutual basis, I.e., there should be proper communication between you and your doctor. And if this communication is open, then only the doctor will help you treat in a better way.
Be accurate with your doctor and answer openly to all those questions which they might ask you like-
What are your symptoms?
Have you gained or lose weight recently
What are the aggravating factors of the symptoms which you get?
Is there any family history of PCOS?
When did you start facing the symptoms?
At last, if any of this affects you, start consulting on time to get a better life ahead.

Infertility- Curable and Not Gender Specific
Despite been world’s most populated country, infertility is a significant problem India is facing nowadays. Above 30 million people (both genders included) are suffering from it. Unfortunately, due to our cultural restrictions, the topic is still not discussed much because of which the general awareness is missing among the folk and there are a lot of myths that gain importance unnecessarily. Let’s enlighten ourselves about the two primarily spread myths and the facts-
·         Infertility is a female thing
Since time immortal, women are blamed for infertility or gender specific birth, in Indian society. The real picture is entirely different from this. Researches depict, that 35% of the infertility is due to female factor, another 35% is due to male factors, 20% of it is due to the combination of both the factors and rest 10% is because of unknown causes.
·         Women suffering from PCOD are not fertile
Though this condition is not optimal for pregnancy, PCOD doesn’t mean one can’t get pregnant. It is a hormone imbalance state which interferes with the growth and release of eggs from the ovaries but it is treatable and the women suffering from this can reproduce easily.
With the advancement in technology we have gained new heights in every field and so is the case with fertility. It is not a problem any more. There are techniques to resolve nearly all the problems related to infertility. The best example of it was placed in the year 2018, when the whole uterus was transplanted in Pune and the lady successfully gave birth to a baby girl.
As mentioned above, there are a number of issues related to men as well, which can be the cause of infertility for the couple. Hence, now is the time, people should avoid relating it to male ego and a question raised on their muscularity. Rather, visiting a doctor to detect the actual cause and eliminating it is the right way to go ahead to deal with this problem.
LIVF centre is one of the best IVF hospital in pune and most trusted fertility clinic for IVF. ASIA's first UTERINE Transplant baby was born at Galaxy care hospital in Pune.
