Accident Happen, part 1
Summary: A 16 year old Rosaria recently got her learner's permit during the summer vacations and sneaks out of her house in Greenwich, Connecticut, in her dad's Audi A7 and unfortunately gets in an accident in downtown Greenwich.
Rosaria had a love-hate relationship with summer vacations. On one hand, she loved going home to see her friends and family. But that meant being away from the Academy and her friends at the Academy. This cycle always repeated itself every single year - she'd long for summer vacations to visit Connecticut, and when she would be back home in Connecticut, Rosaria wouldn't stop thinking of her life and friends at the Academy.
This year was no different. Rosaria was back in Greenwich. For the first few weeks, she was excited- she frequented coffee shops and the mall with Jimmy and her friends, watched movies, went to the spa, went swimming at the country club, finished two marathons. And now, the familiar lull of boredom was starting to set in.
At the Academy, Rosaria had no time to be bored - she was always occupied with something or the other. If it wasn't class and homework, it was training in the danger room. And there were always people around- other mutant students, teachers, the Professor. There was always someone to talk to and things to do.
On this fine summer afternoon, both her parents were at work, and Jimmy was occupied by an Age of Empires tournament. That left Rosaria all alone - something she detected. Rosaria loved staying occupied as much as possible because it meant that she wouldn't have to pay much attention to her thoughts. Specifically the voices and shadows that seemed to have made her mind their permanent home. Keeping herself as occupied as possible meant that she was only confronted with their existence at night. Ideally, she'd prefer never to deal with them but if she had to choose, dealing with them at night was probably the best as opposed to dealing with them every waking moment of the day.
But today was different. There was a moment during vacations, after which all the excitement dialed down and people slowly returned to their routines. That usually left Rosaria all alone. In her younger days, she'd ask to be dropped off at the library and would simply spend the rest of her vacation gazing through books to keep her mind occupied. This year, though, Rosaria was finally old enough. Earlier in the vacation, she'd obtained her learner's permit. And so, an idea popped into her head.
How about Downtown, she thought to herself, a smile slowly creeping across her lips.
A moment later, the smile was gone as Rosaria furrowed her eyebrows. But I need an adult to be with me in the car, she thought to herself. After all, she was only 16.
But then again, Downtown Greenwich was only a 20-minute drive from her house. What could possibly happen, she thought to herself excitedly as she lept out of the sofa and rushed to get ready, quickly grabbing her bag with the keys to her dad's black Audi A7, locking the door behind her.
Immediately, a grin extended across her lips as she placed her hands on the steering wheel. Oh, this was fun, she thought to herself as she opened the garage door and slowly drove the car out of the garage.
Rosaria grinned as she began to drive her dad's car on the roads of Greenwich, mindful of the stop signs and signals. She knew these roads at the back of her hands and even know she'd been at the Academy, she was still just as familiar with the roads as she had been before she had left for the Academy.
And sure enough, she began to see the familiar streets close to Downtown Greenwich. As she approached Downtown, the streets grew narrower and busier, framed by a row of parallely parked cars. The number of pedestrians also increased dramatically - people were walking and crossing roads paying no attention to oncoming traffic at all.
In the midst of of this, Rosaria's carefree grin was soon replaced by a pensive expression as her eyes scanned for an available parking spot and avoided pedestrians at the same time.
After what seemed like eternity, she finally found a parking spot - a car was pulling out of its spot, and Rosaria knew that it was now or never. If she didn't get this spot , she'd have to circle around once more trying to find available spots again, and she was definitely not interested in doing so, having already circled around a fair bit.
As soon as the car pulled out, Rosaria quickly accelerated towards the now available parking spot, steering the car towards it. From the corner of her eyes, she noticed a couple deep in conversation crossing the street, walking through the available parking spot, paying no attention to Rosaria's attempts to park. Immediately, she slammed her right foot on the break pedal bringing the car to a sudden halt.
A moment later, Rosaria heard a loud crash and felt her body being pushed towards the front of the car - the steering wheel digging into her ribcage and the side of her head hitting the dashboard of the car.
It took a moment for Rosaria to realize what had just happen. There was a dull ringing in Rosaria's ears as she slowly opened her eyes, still slightly disoriented. She slowly took in hed surroundings- a white airbag had deployed in front of her, a street filled with onlookers whispering and taking pictures with their phones, the distant sounds of police officers taking statements.
It didn't take a genius to put together that Rosaria's car had been rear-ended. Still a little disoriented, Rosaria couldn't help but feel overcome with dread and panic - this really happened. Her father's car had been in an accident, and she was driving on a learner's permit with no adult around. I'm so grounded for life for this, she thought to herself with a pensive sigh.
Slowly reaching for her phone on the car console beside her, Rosaria did the only thing she could do in this moment- she called Alex.

Learning to Love: Holiday Bonus
A Valentine’s Day Special
Pairing: Kyōtani Kentarō x Female! Yamaguchi! Reader
Warnings: Just a really domestic Kyotani, some language and mentions of drinking.
“Taiyo! Usagi! Come on, we’re going to be late!” Your voice echoes through the large home, making your husband snicker as he wraps his arms around you from behind.
“You’re one to talk. You were the one who always made us late, to... Everything?” Resting his head on your shoulder, he just laughs as you both hear the two four year olds come running in.
“Mommy!” Taiyo whines, “Usagi took my volleyball!”
Usagi huffs as she holds the volleyball close, simply glaring at the floor.
You raise an eyebrow at your daughter. “Usagi, baby, did you take the volleyball from Taiyo?”
Usagi stomps, “Taiyo wouldn’t let me set for him!”
You cover your mouth to keep from laughing. “This is what I get for raising them around volleyball players.” You muse, before stepping forward, gently taking the volleyball. “And for only getting them one volleyball. Okay, you two. We’ll settle this when we get home and look into getting you both your own volleyball. Right now, we’re going to see uncle Tsukki and uncle Yams.”
Both kids light up, “Is uncle Lev gonna be there?” Taiyo asks with a grin.
“What about uncle Kenny?” Usagi grins.
You grin, “Yes, they’re all going to be there, now come on. We have a picnic to get to.”
...
Making it to the park, you smile as you spot the group of people, Taiyo on your hip as Kentarō carries his daughter, the cooler resting on his shoulder.
Lev is the first to notice you both, stepping away from who he was talking to, to open his arms to the kids. Both of them slide from you and your husband’s hips, before running to see their uncles.
Lev doesn’t wait even five minutes before he pulls out presents for the four year olds. “He spoils them rotten.” Kentarō laughs. “We still going with the plan to wear them out here so we can have our date night?”
“Of course. Maybe they’ll even go spend the night with their uncles.” You offer, before smiling as the two of you reach your friends.
“Y/N, my cutie!” Tōru cooes as he takes a few steps forward to meet you in a hug, before shaking your husband’s hand — as if they hadn’t known one another for years and years.
“Tōru! Hajime!” You greet, giving hugs, somewhat all around. Kentarō slips an arm around your waist as you reyurn to him, with your rounds of hugs completed. You clasp your hands together excitedly, “Well, let’s start celebrating.”
Kenma grins as he sidles up with you, offering you bubble tea. “Ken, baby, did you...? You remembered,” you wrap your arms around him again, making him smile as he happily reciprocates one of your renowned hugs.
Whoever said high school friendships and relationships didn’t last was surely mistaken.
...
And did you all celebrate. That night, if Lev... Or any of your friends had been sober, they probably would have taken the sleeping twins home with them to spend the night. Though, you were the designated driver for your family, whilst the rest of your friends called a taxi for themselves, or walked home, living in a short distance from the park.
Your car was hardly practical for your family — a 2021 Audi A7. Though, you and your husband both quite loved the car. Not to mention that your children loved it just as much.
On the ride home, Kentarō’s hand rested on your thigh, gently tracing circles into your skin as he looks at the passing lights. Both you and your husband made rather good money with your career choices and that reflected in your choice of car and home. You didn’t get a necessarily large house, but you both did have a rather large backyard for your children and dogs. It was never a boring day in the Kyotani household.
Kentarō looks at you as you roll into your driveway, turning the ignition off as you park, your face turning to look at him, as well. “Ready for that surprise?” He muses, before glancing back at your sleeping kids.
“As I’ll ever be.”
...
It wasn’t long before your husband was taking your hand and pulling you along towards your bedroom, your kids both safely asleep and tucked in, in their own rooms. As you enter the room, you shake your head with a small laugh.
Twelve baskets were scattered around the room — reminders of your first meeting and the twelve similar snack-filled baskets that he helped you bring to the Karasuno team. The memory only took a moment to resurface and you have to fight the urge to roll your eyes. “You’re so stupidly soft for someone who tries to act like a tough guys.” You turn towards him. “And you know I love you, right?”
“Yeah, I love you too, Y/N.” He hums, flicking your forehead. “Now how about you pour us some drinks, I start us a bath, and we celebrate our Valentine’s Day.”
“Sounds good to me, puppy.”
Kentarō loves his car and refused to part with it. Not that you were going to make in part with it. Despite the normal exterior, the back seat has blankets and toys strewn everywhere for your kids.
Kei and Kentarō play for the Sendai frogs together and despite them being brothers-in-law and married to twins, they are at one another’s throats constantly when they play.
The twins are about as obsessed with volleyball as expected when they grow up, surrounded by volleyball players (read: enthusiasts).
I hope you guys enjoyed the Valentine’s Day Bonus Chapter (I know, I know, not my best work). I might make one or two more for this SMAU, not sure yet, though.
I hope you’re all having a wonderful Valentine’s Day and staying safe! 😊 I love you guys! 🤍 Have a wonderful day!
You guys better be getting something to eat, drinking some water, and taking care of yourselves mentally and physically! But remember, I love you and I’m proud of you, no matter what! Keep it up, love! You’re doing amazing! 💕🤍 Love you guys!! 🥰

💘💤💐🚙 for wwx/jzx?
(these are all modern au, due to the road trip question)
💘 date:
they have a massive food and pollenator garden, including a lotus pond (with fencing around the whole thing to keep out both pests and children who might fall in the lotus pond). they consider spending the day tending the garden together to be a date. garden dates are almost always followed up with a joint shower, and then a relaxing evening in the jacuzzi if they can get away with it.
💤 napping:
wei wuxian’s sleep schedule is practically nonexistent, which means he really needs naps but still forgets to take them. jin zixuan isn’t much of a napper on his own, but he’s discovered that he can make wei wuxian nap by lying on top of him and making him stay still, and while there are other methods to make wei wuxian sleep for a bit (lots of heavy good food, a nice massage, sex, etc), simply lying down on him and latching on tight is by far the easiest and least obtrusive.
💐 family/kids:
listen. they both love kids and fatherhood. they’re constantly over at jiang yanli and luo qingyang’s house, spoiling jin ling rotten, and they also babysit for wei wuxian’s elderly neighbor’s grandson wen yuan whenever wen qing and wen ning can’t make it. so when a new daughter of jin guangshan surfaces, heavily pregnant, refusing to say who the baby’s father is, and looking to give up the baby, of course jin zixuan and wei wuxian are gonna jump through all the hoops they have to in order to adopt little jin rusong.
🚙 road trip:
so i have some Thoughts... mainly that a xuanxian road trip set before they adopt jin rusong would be a disaster.
first off, their car options are either jin zixuan’s mclaren 570s spider (and supercars and road trips do not and should not mix) or wei wuxian’s rusty, poorly-maintained antique cadillac that everyone agrees should’ve fallen apart by now but is somehow still refusing to go quietly into the automotive night (some claim it’s kept together by demonic car-tivation). jin zixuan probably ends up buying a whole new car just for the road trip (i’m thinking the audi a7 hybrid bc it’s still gotta be a luxury car to fit his tastes).
the second problem is that wei wuxian drives like traffic laws are the lan rules—they exist, and sometimes they make good points, but most of them are just arbitrary and begging to be broken. there’s a reason he’s banned from driving jin zixuan’s 570s spider unless it’s out on a track, and it’s bc jin zixuan recognizes that letting his boyfriend loose in a ground-bound rocket that tops out at 204 mph (328 km/h) when there’s other drivers around is a bad idea! jin zixuan is typically a much safer driver, but he’s also highly competitive and it doesn’t take much for wei wuxian to egg him into doing something stupid (both behind the wheel and in general).
problem number three: neither of them are very good at planning ahead. wei wuxian likes to wing things, and jin zixuan is used to everything falling into place around him due to his money, so they’re gonna try to stop somewhere for the night at like 10pm and realize the only hotel in town is completely full. they’re gonna get distracted by a “WORLD’S LARGEST CORN” statue and somehow end up 50 miles off course. they pass a camping store and decide to take a three day backpacking detour on a whim. they’re supposed to be driving to seattle and they end up at the grand canyon. it’s a mess.
(after they adopt jin rusong, they get much better at planning. you forget the diaper bag once, you never make that mistake again.)
#asks#anon#xuanxian#jin rusong is obsessed with his dads’ fast cars from a young age#they let him get into karting and things escalate from there#and that’s how i’m gonna sneak my indycar obsession into my mdzs obsession#jin rusong for roty 2038

Ten Lessons I’ve Learned From Is Audi A24 A Good Car | is audi a24 a good car
Crossovers are the anti-coupe. They’re aggregate a auto is not: tall, wide, ungainly, ample and really, absolutely popular. The four-seat, sedan-based auto is an endangered breed and yet, like the wagon, it attracts a baby but loyal following.
Audi A24 Sportback Review (24 – ) | Parkers – is audi a7 a good car | is audi a7 a good car
Audi hopes to abate that bulk with the 2018 Audi A5 Coupe. If you’re burnt out of crossovers, the auto is the antidote.
But for a one-car family, the auto encounters problems apparent by four doors and headroom.
During a weekend abounding with airport runs and burghal shuttles, the A5 Auto was not affectionate to my 6-foot-5-inch passenger. With his sister and mother in back, the auto became comical. Watching the three of them avenue the car was like slow-motion airheaded bustling from the atom of a car.
On addition trip, with alone one passenger, we acclimated the 60/40 folding seats to bundle our golf clubs. Had the seats not bankrupt down, our clubs would’ve absent out to the cooler. Priorities.
After the weekend, back my cartage left, the A5 Auto became aggregate it was advised to be: a sleek, adventurous break car.
The second-generation A5 Auto is leaner, longer, lower and accentuated by adult caster arches.
The better aberration is beneath the awning and abaft the wheel. The tester came with the 2-liter turbocharged four-cylinder agent that makes 252 horsepower. From a asleep stop there isn’t abundant averseness from the TSFI turbocharger, and it hits max torque of 273 pound-feet at 1,600 rpm. All that low-end torque agency it can access out of any cartage bearings after causing abundant of a activity in the cabin. At artery speeds, a slight columnist of the burke gets it zipping along. It’s quick and nimble, as a auto should be.

2018 Audi A5 Auto 2.0T quattro S tronic at a glance
Base price: $42,800 As tested: $51,975 (excluding $975 destination)
Mpg: 24 city, 34 highway
Engine: 2-liter turbo 4-cylinder with a seven-speed to all wheels
The seven-speed S tronic manual reads the driver’s intentions perfectly. I acclimated the paddle shifters to claiming the S tronic, but conceded it was added fun to let it do the work.
The quattro all-wheel drive arrangement fabricated for a accomplished lot of abrupt fun on the bend ramps. Climb from 2,000 rpm until you’re at 50 now 60 mph and again rocket into a absorb quicker than you can spy aflame lights. It’s so buried and analogously counterbalanced that some enthusiasts ability appetite added bang from the rear.
My admired affection was the technology on the inside. It’s not different to the A5 Coupe, but Audi’s Virtual Cockpit and MMI multimedia arrangement is the best assemblage on the market, and able-bodied account the $2,600 upcharge. MMI uses an initially circuitous ambassador punch to toggle through the 8.3-inch affectation screen. There are four tabs on the interface on the animate aloft the gearstick. After a few days, with my approach comatose on the dial, I could bandy amid nav, radio and agent advice after attractive down. It’s beneath ambagious than Mercedes-Benz and as automatic as BMW. The absolute bulk is in the Virtual Cockpit.
Audi A24 Sportback review – Telegraph – is audi a7 a good car | is audi a7 a good car
With the digitization of everything, the apparatus array has become the best admired absolute acreage in the dashboard. Audi’s Virtual Cockpit is a 12.3-inch customizable display. There’s a speedometer and tachometer, of course, afar by a agent advice display. Best makes accept this in best exceptional models. What they don’t accept is a “view” button on the council caster that minimizes the speedo and tach to the edges, so that the agent advice takes up about the accomplished space. Arrows on the council caster let the deride airing through buzz info, radio stations, cruise meters and added agent info, or the aeronautics map. The 3-D map affectation in accessory or cartage appearance is brilliant. Zoom in or out with the roller punch on the council wheel. Submenus are accessible in bound anatomy from what’s on the affectation screen.
What this all agency is you don’t alike charge the affectation awning or ambassador punch except for the centermost dives, which best drivers aren’t activity to (and shouldn’t) do while driving. In the bulk of time, and with the aforementioned risk, as blockage your speed, drivers can analysis the map or change the radio station, after demography their eyes off the road. This is the administration every automaker should go, to action all that connectivity and advice in the safest and clearest address possible.
Why get a auto if there’s a auto counterpart? Why get a auto instead of a two-seat sports car? Subtle admeasurement differences, I reckon. Coupes are added fun than sedans, but with high-horsepower low-slung sedans acceptable added prevalent, as able-bodied as turbocharged crossovers with coupe-like rooflines, the admirers for the accurate auto is limited. But as a additional car for abandoned commutes or weekend getaways, or as the antitoxin to cookie-cutter crossovers, the A5 Auto can ample the prescription.

Car & Driver 2019 10Best "Inadequacies:" Quick blurbs on the cars that didn't make the 10Best list this year via /r/cars
Car & Driver 2019 10Best "Inadequacies:" Quick blurbs on the cars that didn't make the 10Best list this year
In the print edition of Car & Driver, January, 2019, they dove into the year's 10Best cars list. They also had a small section in the margins of the 10Best feature called "Inadequacies." In this section, they gave a quote for each car that was up for 10Best contention, but didn't make it, briefly summarizing its shortcomings. Lots of interesting insight, if you ask me! Remember that Car & Driver has a full set of tests they run to select their 10Best cars, many of them on a track, so it's not just a group of editors sitting in a room and picking which ones they like best. So, here they are:
Audi A6: "Way more luxury than sport here."
Audi A7: "It's like Audi tried to make a Tesla Model S out of a gas-powered car. Needs more sound and fury. But I guess that's what the S7 is for."
Audi RS5: "The RS5 used to have a howling V-8 and gobs of personality. This one feels sedate in comparison."
BMW i3s: "Even in its marginally sportier guise, the BMW i3 continues to be as far as you can get from the experience of driving a car while still driving a car."
BMW 640i xDrive GT: "Drives like a hockey arena."
Buick Regal GS: "The name vastly oversells its performance."
Buick Regal TourX: "Less than the sum of its parts, attractive though they are."
Honda Clarity PHEV: "As far as the effort to remove all sensory traces of dynamic motivational activity under the hood goes, this thing is a champ. The ultimate anodyne driving experience."
Honda Insight: "What to buy when you really want a Prius but can't bear to look at one."
Hyundai Accent: "There's an awful lot of competence here for the money. Not necessarily much joy but an awful lot of competence."
Hyundai Veloster: "The N splits the difference between a VW GTI and a Civic Type R without being better than either. And like all Velosters, this one is still burdened by its economy-car ethos and weird design."
Jaguar XF Sportbrake: "It's handsome as all get-out, but the interior isn't as nice as it should be, the powertrain is not as refined as it should be, and the chassis isn't as fun as it should be."
Kia Forte: "Manages the strange trick of looking cheaper than it actually is."
Lexus ES/Hybrid: "Was the dashboard designed to win a bet? It is more terraformed than styled, with various vintages of switchgear and instruments."
Lexus LS: "I'm startled by how removed from the driving experience this car has become. Like changing lanes from your bed."
Mazda 6 2.5T: "Very refined but doesn't feel sharp. This has me worried that Mazda is starting to walk away from sportiness in favor of luxury."
Mercedes-Benz C-Class: "Much improved but still not as satisfying as the E-class."
Mercedes-Benz CLS-Class: "No longer better looking or handier than the E-class, so I fail to see the point."
Nissan Altima: "Rental-car desk agents should see a dramatic decrease in arguments with disgruntled customers."
Nissan Leaf: "A car that is crying out for automation to remove the irksome requirement to operate it."
Porsche Panamera: "Breaks Porsche's rule of functional design. Who thought that air vents that can have their direction changed only through a touchscreen was a good idea?"
Subaru WRX STI Type RA: "A relic from Subaru's Brutalist period, it's the antithesis of what 96 percent of its customer base values: It's loud, harsh, and busy. It's also incredibly fun, especially on gravel."
Toyota Avalon/Hybrid: "It exists for cruising the mega-slab, but there are no interstates on the 10Best loop."
Toyota Corolla Hatchback: "Good enough to make the 10Best list -- in 2008."
Volkswagen Jetta: "If the Golf is the sibling that lives in the suburbs, pulling down good scratch and maxing out its 401(k), the Jetta is the poor relation sheltering under a cardboard box at the bus station."
To clarify, there were a couple other vehicles that didn't make the list, but were close enough that their acknowledgements were less... mean. The Alfa Romeo Giulia Quadrifoglio was well-loved by nearly everyone, but had so many issues that needed to be serviced when they had one long term, it was basically out of the running. The Tesla Model 3 Performance did very well too, but since it starts at nearly $80k, it was very hard to justify its value vs competitors. The Audi RS3 was on the 10Best list last year, but this year there was no way they were picking it over the M2 Competition, which has better performance and an improved ride vs its non-Competition predecessor, leaving C&D to look at the RS3 less as a threat and more as "a really expensive, really powerful VW Golf with a really small trunk." Harsh words. The Kia Stinger GT almost made the list last year, and the Kia Stinger 2.0T almost made it this year, but the Genesis G70 better captured the hearts of the C&D editors. The Camaro was bumped from the list by the newly-refreshed Mustang, not necessarily because the Mustang is the clear winner, but because Chevy's 2019 "refresh" of the Camaro gave each trim a new grille and not much else, preserving issues with livability in the cabin in the name of exterior design. And finally, Dodge brought some Challengers to the 10Best competition, for the third time in five years, but all they've done each time was add more power to a car that hasn't been fully redesigned in about 10 years.
Finally, here's a reminder of the 10 cars that did win this year:
BMW M2 Competition
Chevrolet Corvette Grand Sport/Z06
Ford Mustang GT/Bullitt
Genesis G70
Honda Accord
Honda Civic Sport/Si/Type R
Mazda MX-5 Miata/RF
Mercedes-Benz E450/AMG E53
Porsche 718 Boxster/Cayman
Volkswagen Golf Family

Tonight I went to the Auto Show. Every few years I like to go and see all the new vehicles. I can’t say “cars” because the majority seem to be SUVs and trucks.
I’ve read that a typical Corvette buyer is a 70-year-old man. That’s not unreasonable because those are the people who can more likely afford expensive cars. The guys probably wanted one when they were younger and poorer. When they’ve paid their dues they get the ‘Vette. But yikes, those old men must struggle to climb into those tight interiors. Along the same lines I’ve thought about getting a Miata when I decide I don’t want to ride motorcycles any more. I can get on and off my motorcycle all day long. I sat in a Miata tonight. If I had to get in an out of a Miata more than once a day I’d be unhappy.
For ease of access and general comfort I loved the Toyota Highlander and the GMC Yukon Denali. The GMC is too big on the outside though. We’re a Toyota family here because the dealership is so close and we’ve had such good experience owning Toyotas, even my current Camry which Ella and Oliver have trashed. If I get a Highlander I am getting a kennel or divider to keep the dogs in the back compartment.
I didn’t like the Audis as much as I thought I would. The A5 and A7 hatchbacks are cool looking outside. Inside they are just another modern car. When Camrys and Accords have 212 buttons on the steering wheel it’s difficult to notice that Audi, Mercedes, or Lexus have 215 buttons. I hated the Cadillac interiors.
On the way home I was very hungry. I stopped at Burger King for some onion rings. I don’t really like BK onion rings but I forget that after a year or two. Then I get a craving for BK onion rings.
After I purchased my onion rings I got back on the road. They smelled sooooo good. But I forgot to wash my hands after leaving the auto show. My fingers had touched all those cars. Thousands of other people had touched all those cars. Ewwww. No damned way I’m picking up onion rings until I wash my hands. I drove fast the rest of the way home.

2021 Mercedes-Benz E450 All-Terrain is Tested- Top or Flop
There was a time when Wagon was a premium car for U.S. roadways. These cars were the first preference for the families who are interested in road-tripping across the country. There is a huge list of auto manufacturers who are selling Wagons, but Mercedes Benz keeps its position one step ahead by doing the long-roof longer.
Traditionally Wagons favors the U.S. customers, still Mercedes-Benz E-class wagon converted in E450 All-Terrain. The main objective of this change is to attract customers who are going to choose the Crossovers.
This 2021 E- class Mercedes is not a complete SUV, we can say it is available as a coupe, convertible, mid-size sedan. The main competitors of this new Sedan will be Audi A6 Sedan, Allroad Wagon or A7 hatchback, BMW 5-Series, and Porsche Panamera.

The Audi A7: History, Generations, Specifications
All things Audi A7 on Automobile.
Audi A7 Essential History
If German naming conventions have you all twisted-up, understanding the Audi A7 is simple. Think of the A7 simply as a more elegant, stylish Audi A6, incorporating most (if not all) the A6's powertrain options and interior design. Make sense? We hope so, considering you've had eight model years to figure the A7 out. Launched globally in late 2010, Audi's swoopiest four-door didn't make it to the States until the 2012 model year, filling a Mercedes-Benz CLS-Class-sized gap in the automaker's lineup.
First-Generation Audi A7 แม่จำเนียร
Initially, Audi's ubiquitous 3.0-liter supercharged V-6 served as the only source of motivation, with 310 horsepower and 325 lb-ft of torque routed to the Quattro all-wheel-drive system via an eight-speed automatic transmission. Soon after, the nerd-tastic 3.0-liter turbocharged 3.0-liter diesel V-6 hit our shores, now offering 240 hp and a thick 428 lb-ft of torque through the same eight-speed automatic.
With a 0-60-mph run tested somewhere in the low five-second range and a top speed of 155 mph, the bog-standard A7 was hardly a slug, but the later S7 added an extra dollop of speed and performance onto the platform. As the A7 is to the A6, the S7 is essentially a rebodied S6 of the same generation, incorporating the S6's excellent 4.0-liter twin-turbo V-8 and slick seven-speed dual-clutch transmission. A total of 420 hp and 406 lb-ft of torque are on tap, returning a 0-60-mph run in 4.5 seconds and a top speed of 155 mph. Model year 2016 saw updates across the board, with the A7 upgraded to 333 hp and the S7 to 450 hp. Along with extra power, the S7 also added upgraded suspension, brakes, tires, wheels, and interior components over the regular A7.
Still not enough? The mighty RS7 is one of the most potent of all Audi four-doors, boosting the S7's 4.0-liter twin-turbo V-8 to 560 hp and 516 lb-ft of torque through an eight-speed automatic transmission. The RS7's 0-60-mph dash takes just 3.7 seconds, while upgraded brakes—and optional carbon ceramics—and revisions to both chassis and aero improve braking and handling. Finally, for the truly power-mad (and wealthy), Audi's 2017 updates brought the debut of the RS7 Performance model, rated for 605 hp and 553 lb-ft and capable of 0-60-mph times in the low three-second range.
Second-Generation Audi A7
The second generation of A7 arrived for the 2019 model year, and landed with the newest variant of Volkswagen/Audi's MLBevo platform, a new turbocharged V-6 engine, and a 48-volt mild hybrid system. Stick with the A7, and you'll get a 3.0-liter that puts out 335 hp and 369 lb-ft of torque through all four wheels and a seven-speed dual-clutch transmission. The 0-60-mph dash takes 5.2 seconds, and top speed is limited to 130 mph.
By now, you should know how this goes. The second-gen S7 wasn't long behind the new A7, upping the ante with the 2.9-liter twin-turbo V-6 pulled from the current RS5. This means 444 hp and 443 lb-ft of torque through an eight-speed automatic, cutting the 0-60-mph sprint time to 4.5 seconds, but keeping the top speed limited to 155 mph. Scarier still is the new RS7, packing an updated 4.0-liter twin-turbo V-8 with 591 hp and 590 lb-ft of torque that allows for a 0-60-mph scuttle in 3.5 seconds. Not convinced? Watch this space for the inevitable arrival of a new RS7 Performance.
Audi A7 Highlights
The effortlessly handsome Audi A7 wasn't the first fastback sedan, but it was one of the cars that established the segment alongside the groundbreaking Mercedes-Benz CLS, and the A7 remains a staple of Audi's lineup. The A7—and subsequent high-performance variants—aren't at the top of the Audi dogpile in either price or size, but the A7 family possesses some of the strongest aspirational pull and consumer recognition. For many, the RS7 is about as good as a modern four-door can get, both aesthetically and dynamically, and we can't say there isn't a kernel of truth in this. Better yet, even if you don't make the jump to the S7 or RS7, the regular bog-standard A7 is still one of the most luxurious and beautifully packaged vehicles on sale today.
Audi A7 Buying Tips
Figuring out which member of the A7 family to buy breaks down to what you want out of your style-forward German luxury car. If you're in the market for a reliable, trouble-free daily driver, go with a new A/S/RS7; there's little point pumping endless dollars into a second-hand A7 unless you're already a die-hard Audi enthusiast.
If you're OK with driving a used S7 or RS7 as a second or third car for long distance trips or medium-distance use around town, look for a strong maintenance record. If you can't find a good one or maybe can't afford one of the cleaner ones, we say keep walking—this is a case of pay now or pay big later.
When you do find a nice pre-owned example, have it checked out by a local Audi dealer or independent specialist to make sure there isn't anything insidious hiding under those sumptuous bodylines. If there are issues, you shouldn't have any trouble finding parts, however expensive they may be; Audi still provides factory support for A7s both old and new.

S4 25quattro: This was a special edition S4 made in 2006 to celebrate quattro’s 25th anniversary. 250 S4 25quattro’s were made. They had similar aesthetic modifications as the DTM A4/S4. They only came with the 6spd transmission and in the Avus Silver color. The S4 25quattro also differed in that its exhaust had custom dual tips instead of quad tips.

Over the past few months I made this list for fun to show some of my family how Audi (as with most other automobile companies) share engines between models. I also wanted to show that just because two engines may look similar, doesn’t mean they are, they can have drastically different specifications. For instance, the 4.2 V8 in the B7 S4 is similar to the 4.2 in the C6 A6 (albeit tuned differently); however the 4.2 in the B7 RS4 is a whole ’nother animal.
The list started with the B7 A4, S4, and RS4 and I got a bit carried away!
**Some notes**
I’m know the list probably isn't perfect, but this more so just for fun and for having a list right in front of you where it is easy to compare details. Most of the data in here is from the top of my head (ha, I wish), from years of reading about cars in magazines, forums, websites, etc. and of course, I had a bit of help Wikipedia.
The data in this list represents the American versions of these models; however, I included some notable models from the European market, just to compare them (or because I’m envious we didn’t get them in the United States…yes you, C6 RS6). I’d happily add more from other markets later.
For some models I have a side note saying Europe only, I know these models may have also been available in parts of Asia, Latin America, or other countries/continents; I mean no disrespect, I’m just not as knowledgeable about the availability of models in those other countries; but as I learn more, I’ll happily go more in depth about specific markets and which models are offered there.
Also, I didn’t include diesel engines; I plan on adding them at some point.
The horsepower is in brake horsepower, I know that isn’t the only thing that matters, but it’s what I have so far. Initially I was just going to put the engine configuration and displacement but I wanted to add the hp ratings to show that just because it’s the same engine configuration/size doesn’t mean it’s the same power. If anybody has dyno results or wheel horsepower numbers for any of these models that they would like to share, feel free to let me know and I’ll start making a list to add them in the future.
I am aware that my generations (B6, B7, C6, etc.) aren’t perfect and may not match up exactly. This started just as a list for the A/S/RS4 models, then I added the A/S/RS6, and then I figured I’d add pretty much everything else. I tried to fit the generations for different models/chassis’ into a similar time frame when they were using the same engines across different models.
Also I know the T and TT may not match the badging on the car (for instance the I put 4.0TT for the C7 S6 even though the badge on the fender says 4.0T). I’d rather show if it is a single turbo engine vs. a twin/bi-turbo engine than match the badging. However, I kept the T for the supercharged 3.0 V6 engine. I considered writing it as 3.0S or 3.0S/C but I figured that would just make it more confusing, especially mixed in with the S4, too many S’s. However, doing this may have made it more confusing, so I might change it to S/C down the line.
Eventually I’ll add more to this list, make it look a bit nicer, and touch up my grammar (I fall victim to run-on sentences)... I’ll update along the way!
I plan on adding more vehicles, such as Allroad models, SUVs and crossovers. I would also like to add older vehicles, such as the 4000, 5000, and Quattro. On top of that I think it would be fun to include some rally cars, but the engines and power seemed to fluctuate so much race-to-race, so we’ll see. Either way it’d be awesome to compare Audi’s production engines to engines like the crazy inline-5 in the Group-B Quattro that Walter Röhrl drove at Pikes Peak.
I also would like to add more details on the cars/engines later, such as lb-ft torque, whp, quarter mile times, 0-60 times, weight, drivetrain (for the few FWD cars and the RWD R8 V10 RWS), top speed (restricted and unrestricted), differentiate more on body styles (Avant, Cabrio, coupe, saloon/sedan, etc.), and mention if it was produced at quattro GmbH / Audi Sport Gmbh.
At some point I might color code the engines or something along those lines... I mean the initial reason I made this list was to show how different models share engines (although with slightly different tunes/internals) so it would be helpful to have the similar engines to stand out.
Finally, I am not perfect, and I whipped this together pretty quickly last night. I know I can clean it up a bit, and there may be some mistakes, feel free to let me know as I am open to constructive criticism.
Thanks and enjoy! ☺

2020 Audi S4 First Drive: Perfectly Packaged Performance
There is something very Goldilocks about an Audi S4. The compact sport sedan is just the right size; the turbocharged V-6 is powerful and lusty enough to offer a thrill while still serving as a comfortable daily driver, and the Audi-caliber interior is just premium enough without dipping into a luxury coma that might threaten to lull the senses.
For the 2020 model year, the S4 gets a significant refresh—enough change to warrant a trip to Palm Springs, California, and a drive through the desert to see how the new S4 stands up.
The compact A4 family of cars is Audi’s bread and butter and comes in assorted flavors including the 2020 A4 Allroad and the S4 sport sedan. All variants of the A4 family got a significant facelift for 2020 to better align with the corporate look embodied by the Audi A6, A7 and A8.
Audi has never quite reached the top echelons dominated by Mercedes and BMW, but it carves out its own lane, distinguishing itself with stellar interiors and its ability to make vehicles that feel raw and visceral.
The 2020 S4 continues to run in that lane. Almost all the sheet metal is new. The A4 has double slats in the grille, but the S4 goes honeycomb with inserts in matte aluminum silver. The face also has larger inlets under the expressive matrix-design LED headlights from the E-Tron concept. Audi has always made distinctive lighting a priority; a fun addition here is that the headlight beam will dance around during engine startup. Both headlights and taillights offer a classy take on dynamic turn indicators with the elegant line of LEDs clearly signally which way the driver is turning. Finishing the car’s overall look are body color door handles, a trunk lid lip spoiler, and chrome quad exhaust tips.
Want to look meaner? A black optic package adds more black bits on the body and 19-inch 5-V-spoke-star wheels with summer tires. Standard wheels are 18 inches.
The powertrain is a 3.0-liter turbocharged V-6 that generates 349 horsepower and 369 lb-ft of torque. It is paired with an eight-speed automatic transmission and Quattro all-wheel drive is standard. With this latest-generation V-6, as in the larger cars in the family, the engine features auto stop/start. The standard A4 Quattro sedan has a 248-hp, 273-lb-ft 2.0-liter turbocharged I-4 with power distributed via a seven-speed dual-clutch transmission.
The power from the V-6 is not neck-snapping, but it sneaks up on you. Blink and you are exceeding the speed limit by enough that you are thankful the local authorities have not discovered the day’s drive route. Audi conservatively says the S4 will go 0-60 mph in 4.4 seconds, but the 2018 S4 we tested that did the sprint in 4.2 seconds. We look forward to seeing what our test team does with the 2020 model.
The sounds and sensations are reason enough to step up to the S4 from the A4. You feel like you are truly driving: in command, king of the road, in a semi-subtle kind of way. The engine has a highly satisfying soundtrack, especially when shifting gears, even if we didn’t get any good snorts or gurgles in Dynamic mode. Adding to the experience is steering with the right amount of weight. The driver feels connected and in charge, with a sense of having worked for that sharp turn-in and been rewarded. Dynamic steering is an option, but steering is dead-on without it. All S4s come with the three-spoke, leather-wrapped, flat-bottom steering wheel with shift paddles. Heated steering wheel is an option. Brakes offer strong stopping power without being too sensitive or jarring.
S4 buyers get a sport suspension that lowers the A4’s ride height by 23 mm, or they can opt for the S sport package, which adds a sport adaptive damping suspension, red brake calipers, and a sport rear differential. That provides better cornering as it splits the torque between the rear wheels and can direct nearly all the torque to one wheel. The pavement was relatively smooth for our drive, but there were some serious dips that could easily have caused a lesser suspension to bottom out. The S4 took them in stride.
Driver-assist systems include adaptive cruise assist with traffic jam assist, rear cross-traffic assist and top view camera. But most of the advanced systems are an option.
Inside is a cabin with a choice of 30 colors of ambient lighting. Settle into leather S sport seats with bolsters and massage, as well as extendable sun visors to better see the road you plan to carve up. There is a sunroof, and options include ventilated seats up front and heated seats in back. Moving down to a lower trim level registers barely a blip in the quality of the interior. In short, they are all darn good and for some it will come down to color and taste: red leather or black? Do you want the diamond stitch pattern to be subtle or overt? Is Alcantara on the doors enough or do you need more? We are also pleased to see that the high-end materials aren’t constrained to the front seat; rear passengers can also gaze at carbon fiber trim, stitching on the seat backs, and enjoy leather arm rests.
The S4 has the Audi virtual cockpit with two modes: sport and S Performance on the 12.3-inch display screen. In the S4, sport mode replaces classic mode as the default view, and an S Performance mode takes the place of dynamic mode, which brings the tachometer and speedometer to the front and adds a boost gauge and lap timer. There is also a color head-up display.
Audi debuted MIB 3, its latest infotainment system, with the A4. That means the S4 gets an upgrade from the 8.3-inch screen in the outgoing model that was controlled by a rotary knob, to a new 10.1-inch touchscreen. The third-generation system is 10 times faster, with crisper graphics, and it responds to natural language voice controls, so no more guessing which key words will get the machine’s attention. If I had to quibble, it would be the way the screen is propped up on the dash, not nicely integrated like it is in the new Q7 crossover.
Keeping connected is possible with USB outlets up front but adding two more for rear passengers is an option. Trying to put three people in a back seat far better suited to two is also an option in our opinion.
The S4 starts at $50,895. The model we drove ratcheted up to $62,840 with the Premium Plus package, as well as the sport, navigation, driver assistance packages, 19-inch wheels, and a few other goodies. Yes, it is a jump from a $38,395 base A4, but the price has dropped $300 and it is a solid value against a BMW M340i or Mercedes-AMG C43. The 2020 S4 is on sale now. It is a solid choice for the buyer who has done their homework and recognizes there are more than two flavors of luxury sports car.

PARIS — From design and performance standpoints, the Audi TT Sportback concept ranked as one of the hits of the 2014 Paris Motor Show. From a packaging standpoint, it is a reminder of just how tight fit the basic TT architecture is, even in four-door configuration.
“With the TT, Audi created one of the automotive design icons of the last 20 years,” said Ulrich Hackenberg, an Audi board member, in introducing the car Thursday.
With the Sportback concept, he added, Audi was fusing the basic TT look with the profile and utility of larger Audi vehicles like the popular A7 and A5 Sportbacks. (There is also an A3 Sportback, but it since it came out looking like a station wagon, nobody mentioned that relationship in this context.)
The TT Sportback is powered by a 2-liter turbocharged 4-cylinder gasoline engine that sends up to 400 horsepower and 332 pound feet of torque through a seven-speed S-tronic gearbox to all four wheels of a quattro system. Audi said it was capable of 3.9-second sprints from zero to 62 m.p.h.
Like the TT coupe, the Sportback does have seats for four occupants, but the rear positions seem best suited to people with no legs. (The back seats are really there for lower insurance premiums, as two-seat sports cars price out much higher.) Even though the Sportback is a good foot longer than the coupe, very little of that extra space seems to have been devoted to additional rear passenger legroom. And let’s not even open a discussion about rear passenger headroom, what with the car’s steeply slanted roofline.
From an exterior perspective, stretching the TT into a sedan — or more correctly a five-door hatchback — and making it look like such a natural, well-integrated design was tough assignment for Audi’s design team. But the Sportback delivers.
No decision has been made whether to put the TT Sportback into production at all, let alone distribute it in North America, the company said. The base TT itself is a niche model in Audi’s lineup and sales are limited. But the automaker says it is looking into expanding the TT line into a whole family of vehicles, including roadsters (also shown in Paris), a wagon, a small sport utility vehicle and other models. Competitively, the potential TT family might stand up well against the Mercedes-Benz CLA, as well as similar models from BMW.
More than anything though, judi bola online terpercaya the TT Sportback sent a message that Audi, enjoying a four-year run of record sales, has not yet run out of new ideas, and plans to keep the hits coming.

Driving the TGIF Stars of the 90s Today
JALEEL WHITE - 1957 BMW ISETTA 300
Jaleel White is not likely to be an ordinary name for everyone, besides if you see the TGIF line-up in the middle of the 1990s, at that time you will see the player's face. He played Steve Urkel in the Family Matters sitcom, an appearance that was only unexpectedly expected, however the character displayed was so prominent with the observer that he turned into a standard on the show.
The first thing that comes to mind when thinking about Dubai Trip and Tour how to manage transport or Car Hire Dubai. Don’t worry just go to Rental Cars UAE and find out a suitable package. Rental Cars UAE provide all kind of Dubai Rent a car or cheap rent a car Dubai. Moreover, you can get a 30% discount on all packages. Furthermore, if you are looking for Three Days deal on Rent a car in Sharjah? No worries! Monthly Car Rental is here to assist you with the best packages that are the most suitable and Car Hire are available at very affordable rates on three days. 360 AED is the three days package. Do not miss to grab the chance to drive in Dubai.
White even mentions the BMW Isetta 300 model, an organized Italian microcar that is similarly driven by the geeky character on TV, ignoring the way that the vehicle he actually drives is basically dynamically beautiful and refined!
JALEEL WHITE - AUDI RS7
Jaleel White may have played Steve Urkel who was unusual in his most famous movements, however, about the player's reputation far from the geeky Family Matters character. In addition to the beautiful and modern Aston Martin Rapide, White in the same way states the Audi R-7, the extraordinary landing of the Audi A7 Sportback
The White Model is a convertible with a twin turbo V8 motor with every single mod, and the cost of skilled workers who do more than $ 260,000. After all, he had benefited as much as he could from his prosperity in Family Matters and gladly exchanged with his prosperity as Urkel, paying little attention to whether it gave himself up as an accomplished expert.
ASHLEY OLSEN - TOYOTA PRIUS
Ashely Olsen and her relatively popular twin sister Mary-Kate not only remain aware of the latest models of clothing pieces and styles. Ashley is one of those who are praised differently who travels Hollywood with the Toyota Prius, a cream vehicle that can be controlled either with gas or electric batteries.
The Prius is the world's leading mutt, and is open in different models with different sticker costs, with Ashley driving one of the most important destinations of this vehicle. Understanding faces seem to adore driving a smart Prius that allows them to show admiration for nature, without relying on fully battery-controlled vehicles.
RINAN REYNOLDS - TRIUMPH THRUXTON
Perhaps the best name in TGIF's order was Ryan Reynolds, ignoring the route that in the mid-1990s he was off track that was also known as him today! He is one of the opponents of the TGIF Two Guys sitcom, A Girl and a Pizza Place - who was later contracted by Two Guys and a Girl - in any case today he is also referred to as a Hollywood, heavenly individual activity, which has appeared as a Deadpool wannabe in two films.
Reynolds also seems to be an on-screen director and has an illegal social basic relationship with bicycles, including the confusing thoughts of Triumph Thruxton, which was changed for him by get-togethers at Kott Motorcycles.
