Lips pressed themselves into a line so thin they may vanish. The nigh assassination of Evangeline, along with Maven, did not end well. Maven was her target, along with the other houses in the coup. Sure, Maven deserved to die, but neither did her friend. 

But she knew why the bullet was fired at Evan. She had loyalty to Maven, because of the crown. To her, the crown meant more disorder with Maven, meant power for her. Silvers had suffered, but she knew what had to be done. 

Maven had to go to hell, though his whereabouts are currently unknown when he and Iris Cygnet vanished after the marriage. Gods, the name confusion baffled her to the point she wished to be called Lady McNamara.

Now, weeks later, she sat in the guest rooms of the Kingdom of the Rift, safely seeking refuge here. Giving her House’s allegiance to House Samos. To be Loyal to the new King and Queen, Prince and Princess. In the fatal wedding, she survived with only scratches decorating her silver skin. Still stained in the blood of both Red and Silver, she remembered what had happened.

The Prince of Norta--the true Prince--returned to save Mare. Lightning struck in colors she couldn’t believe. Blue. Purple. Impossible. Images swirled in her head, before hearing the squeaking of the rat. Larentia, always watching.  Sending a spark to the vile creature, she watched as it scurried away. Evangeline should be here. Soon.

Still, she didn’t want to look INAPPROPRIATE at the meetings. She was Norta’s princess now and had the great responsability of fitting, of looking perfect. Certainly not as PERFECT as the magnetron was, but hopefully something close to it. “---How do I look?”

                         manon did not like breaking loyalties - not when she had not delivered on what she had promised. honour was a valued trait in her mind, and she clearly had none. and she didn’t think she cared for the boy king. after the wedding, it was evident that maven had lost most of his support amongst the silver nobles. the might of samos had left him - and she no longer saw safety for her kind on his side. as more and more players had joined the board, she was less willing to fight for him.

the samos girl however - she’d followed her lead quickly, especially as the lightening girl was let loose. she had no intention of dying there in the mass of a wedding gone wrong.

               DIONYSUS   WAS   RENDERED   COMPLETELY   SPEECHLESS ,    perhaps  due  to  the  fact  that  he  was  still  in   s h o c k   from  all  that  he’d  witnessed  :  the  guttural  moans,  the  painful  hand  squeezing,  the  encouraging  (  but  mostly  angry  )  yelling,  the  hot  stretching  of  flesh,  until  finally,  the  crowning  head  of  their  first-born  daughter.  it  was  as  mesmerizing  a  sight  as  it  was  disturbing  and  had  the  poor  man  growing  faint,  but  thankfully  enough  he  was  conscious  to  hear  the  newborn  animos  roar  her  first  cry.  

               PROMPTLY  AFTERWARDS ,  SHE   WAS   TAKEN   AWAY   by  the  skin  healer  midwives  to  be   washed  up  and  checked  up  on  for  any  defects  before  she  could  be  handed  over,  which  left  the  new  parents  with  a  brief   moment   alone  ;  evangeline  in  their  bed,  and  dionysus  sitting  in  a  chair  beside  her,  clammy  fingers  still  laced  around  each other  for  support.  ❛   i  promise,  i  will  never  put  you  through  that  again,   ❜  he  finally  managed,  brushing  off  his  elated  tears  with  an  embarrassed  laugh,  ❛   ───  but  for  what  it’s  worth,  i  think  you’ve  just  undoubtedly  proven  yourself  to  be  the  most  incredible  woman  in  all  of  norta .    ❜

Top 5 2016 movies (( can you tell I'm looking for suggestions? xD ))

Okay, I didn’t see a lot of movies in 2016. Um.

1.) The Bounce Back--If you go in knowing that it’s a stupid, cliche, cheesy af romantic comedy, and you enjoy stupid, cliche, cheesy af romantic comedies, you will love this movie.

2.) Rogue One: A Star Wars Story--IT’S SO GOOD. JUST SEE IT.

3.) Captain America: Civil War--Superhero movie. It was very good visually, and story-wise, but there were some things where I was just like “Okay...”

4.) Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them--PROBABLY TOP OF MY LIST, TBH.

5.) Ghostbusters--I loved the all-female reboot. It was hilarious. And I don’t really like comedy.

(And then the others I saw in 2016 were X-Men Apocalypse, Deadpool, Suicide Squad, and Batman v Superman. All superhero flicks.)
