Is it still oc Thursday? I’m not sure if I’m allowed to do this but uh. I have an ic named Pigeonpaw (she’s very fluffy) and she has two brothers and a sister (Batpaw, Twistedpaw, and Irispaw (like the flower)) their parents were named Littleberry and Pikespark and they are all happy together. Pigeonpaw’s warrior name is gonna be like Pigeonwillow, Batpaw is Batvine, Twistedpaw is Twistedtree and Irispaw is Irisfern. I don’t have a solid story for them yet though ;-;

those are good names!

Oh god… so many thoughts on this page.

Quince is my favourite and seeing how much of an impact she made on everyone made me tear up. She lived a short life, but she fulfilled so much for the clan and family.

I do wish I could've done more with Quincefeather. I wanted to expand more on her relationship with Scale, and then redcough happened. :/ So I hope the funeral scene did her some justice <3

And to answer your question...Sort of. Lightheather knows that she has a very low chance of her weak leg killing her, but she also feels very anxious. Irisfern was her younger brother and Peppershine was her older brother, and they both died. Anyone would feel like they're next...Right?

Irisfern’s eyes are incredibly haunting…

I love how you show how devastating wasting disease is on him if that’s the sign of a cat that has it. It literally looks like his eyes are sinking into the sockets.

That was exactly what I was trying to go for. As he aged I wanted his eyes to look more sunken in so that his face had a bit of a “hollow” look to it. It really shows how awful wasting disease and terminal illness in general are.
