The upcoming battle is fast approaching, and there's plenty of tasks that need to be assigned. We can't let the Hull Cutter's crew win this fight.

- Direct combat: We'll need a skilled fighter to launch an assault on the Hull Cutter directly, take the fight directly to Cortex.

- Weapons convoy and treasure: Jacob has unfortunately decided to add an extra layer of challenge to the fight, by hiring a convoy of gear to venture through the jungle, as well as hiding treasure. I'll grant you temporary access to my island-wide security system to track the convoy and scope out the jungle.

- Handle the ship: Someone needs to stay behind and steer the ship, man the cannons, etc.

- Confront the captain: I myself will be confronting Scurvy directly. It's absolutely imperative that I talk to him, so we cannot take his life or injure him in any capacity.

I'll be awaiting any extra suggestions or insight from you all.

Odious, I'm just about ready to set out for Scurvy's. Sedrick should be fine handling the ship, Leonard will be searching for the convoy using my spycams, and Jacob and Iris will be attacking the Hull Cutter directly. While you don't have to come along, I can carry you there as I fly over. What will you be doing?

Excellent. Stations are appropriately covered and I've left access to my portable rift generator to Leonard in case he catches the convoy. It's now or never. If we're lucky, this meeting might just nip the war in the bud before any casualties can occur. Yes, I did say we and I'm not taking it back. I already told you, I'm coming with you. While it's most appropriate for a captain to remain with the ship, I'm the primary target. If they focus on me, if or when things go belly up, hopefully it'll give you ample opportunity to retreat. I know that's not a favorable option to you, but an option nonetheless. Regardless, you're not doing this alone.

Irises DO come in nearly every color of the rainbow! They do lack a true green, but several varieties are a greenish yellow. And they lack a vibrant scarlet red but there are lots of burgundy- or oarange-reds.

in my heart of hearts mike wheeler is absolutely an athena kid but i also have to offer up a concept that i think has extreme comedic and dramatic potential aka: repressed gay teenager mike showing up at camp half blood unsure of who his godly parent is and feeling insecure about not having powers and one day when he’s making not-so-secret heart eyes at his best friend and son of apollo will byers is when a bunch of glowing floating hearts show up above his head. and that’s how mike gets claimed by none other than aphrodite, the goddess of love and sexuality, and is in full denial about it for three days because he thinks it’s some kind of sick and twisted JOKE

(on aphrodite’s end, she’s upset mike is throwing away the gift of true love and keeps trying to trick him out of repression by making more and more improbable and hilarious gifts appear when he and will are hanging out. mike hands will a book and it turns into a box of chocolates and he has to fling it away like a frisbee before will sees it. they’re having lunch and romantic music starts playing. she gives mike the same blessing she used to claim piper and will can’t even look in his direction for a full day because he starts blushing so hard. fifty bouquets of flowers show up at the apollo cabin’s doorstep with a note that says love, mike and by the end of it, mike isn’t even repressed and unsure about his sexuality anymore — he’s just trying to not throw himself into the bonfire out of sheer embarrassment)

War is fast approaching and the time for preparation is at hand. This is a call to all who have chosen to ally yourself with me to fend off the scourge of piracy and stick it to Cortex. Should anyone else wish to join my roster, I'll send my coordinates and we will convene at the war table.

I also rearranged my nightstand altar! I don’t think I actually posted the iteration before this, but it only looked okay so that’s fine 😂 I was gifted these two beautiful candle holders as part of my graduation gift from my boyfriend, so I wanted to add them in here! I also bought some devotional candles for Iris recently, and thought they were particularly appropriate on this altar for Pride Month 🌈
