About the story : Vogelfrei is a personal project which will span on two books, estimated to be around 20k words each. It will be complemented by traditional and digital artworks, cipher code riddles, and mini comics. It is very loosely based on The Book of Bill, but will follow the canon series as close as possible. In order to close the gaps in my knowledge of TBOB, I will be mostly inventing new elements and implementing them into the story.

Intellectual property: The characters featured in the story, at the exception of a few random Ocs, belong to Alex Hirsh , creator of Gravity Falls.

Genre: It’s a mix of comedy , adventure and drama, with a pinch of platonic romance and with philosophical undertones. The story is to be taken lightly, its main purpose is entertainment.

When and how regularly will it update? :

Truthfully, I don’t have a consistent writing schedule, I do it mostly by bolts of inspiration. However, I will probably have to set dates throughout the year to publish the story evenly. Tumblr folks will get to see the writing first, then I’ll post it separately on AO3 in the following 2-3 days. To start, I’ll try to update each Saturday at 12 pm EST (but I still have to decide on what is best.)

Could this project be put on Hiatus, if so, what happens?:

When the next study session starts, I will need to often, unceremoniously, halt my writing. When it happens, artworks may still pop up, but the activity for Vogelfrei the Fanfic will be significantly lowered.
