     ……❪ hongjoong was the first person to really open his arms and welcome olivia. he was the most open-minded when the ceo talked about her being in ateez, and actually encouraged the idea to other members. he helps her most often with her improvements, her vocals, her raps when she has them. things she is amazing at, he helps to make them brilliant. she would often say that without hongjoong she probably would have given up her dream and flew back to michigan to study psychology and literature. hongjoong saw what ivy did in ioi, and he ran with it. he saw the potential in her and wanted her to do great things, even if she wasn't in ateez. he helped her rebrand her name. she went from jisoo of ioi, with cute concepts and higher pitched vocals. to being ivy of ateez with stronger concepts and lower range vocals. ❫

     ……❪ ivy and hongjoong have a special bond, they kind of take care of each other. she makes sure he gets the rest and nutrients that he needs, and he makes sure she stays healthy mentally. ivy said hongjoong was her dad when she needed a dad. and that true, he puts his foot down when he needs to and everything he does is with love and appreciation. to hongjoong, ivy is kind of like the sunshine on a rainy day. they can be goofy, serious, and emotional together all in one day. ivy said she wasn't sure why when she first met him, but she felt some sort of connection with hongjoong that she only felt with her siblings and her dad, she said it was like they were family before they knew anything about each other. this is also shown by how overly protective he is over her, he just constantly wants her to be safe. ❫

     ……❪ hong likes to mess around with ivy from time to time. if she is doing something, just minding her business, he'll go 'yah! what're you doing?' and she'll wonder what she's doing wrong before she sees him laugh. often times they will play tackle, and he always lets ivy win. they will have fake arguments, that can and probably will turn into real ones, so never ask if it's real cause it might cause it to be. hj is also really supportive of every decision ivy makes. if she decided one day that she needs to leave ateez and fins herself, he would be absolutely heartbroken, and obviously he would want to talk about it. but whatever her final decision is, he's going to support it. ❫

     ……❪ ivy and seonghwa's bond is fairly emotional? seonghwa was there for ivy in her darkest times, she said she probably opens up to him the most whenever she's in a hard situation. in the beginning seonghwa was welcoming, she said she believed he supported her being in ateez 100% because of how welcoming he was. which, let's be clear, seonghwa was iffy about the idea. and even when she fully joined the group and moved in, he was still a little on the edge. he supported the idea maybe 78% after a few days. but he never showed in doubt because, one he felt that hongjoong saw something in her that no one else did, and two he didn't want to hurt her feelings when she was already going through some weird circumstances. ❫

     ……❪ the two of them are very open with one another. they have this thing where they do 'check-ups' on each other every few weeks or whenever they feel like something is wrong. seonghwa does the most because he's always worried about her. he probably spoils her the MOST out of all the members. anything she wants, she gets, and seonghwa makes sure of it. she is pretty much his baby. they are constantly together in holding hands, hugging, or anything really. wooyoung complains that ivy always gets her way with seonghwa, but how could he say no to her?! ❫

     ……❪ they're actually really goofy with each other. they could all be talking about something and ivy will just straight up jump on him. he will randomly tickle her in the middle of fan meets. like they're just a really cute duo. however, like all members, he is so protective with her. he's one of the members that will give her his jacket/blazer if there are no blankets around to cover her legs when she's in skirts. he's the one to make sure she eating well, to make sure she feels safe. and he's doing a darn good job at that, ivy even told fans that seonghwa feels like home. he's warm, comforting, safe, you just want to be around him when you've had a long day. ❫

     ……❪ in the beginning, yunho was also a little iffy on ivy joining. but he was really excited to know her nonetheless. he liked that he was meeting someone as popular as ivy, someone that has the idol experience. they kind of grew on each other really quickly, and soon became like best friends. he would defend her in every argument that wooyoung would have with her because he wanted her to know that she was wanted in ateez. it was like the two of them clicked, they were meeting each other one day, and then the next they were running around amok. ivy even says yunho is one of her biggest supporters. ❫

     ……❪ their emotional bond isn't as strong as seonghwa and ivy's but it's still there. they are, again, very supportive of each other. they will talk about things that she might feel awkward talking to the others about because yunho is just really easy to talk to. she says that yunho is the guy that wouldn't tell anything but your darkest secrets to. and she means that, she trusts him with her whole life. and yunho trusts her too, having that she's really good at advice, he will go to her when he needs to. it a kind of relationship where they're still learning a lot of small things about each other, but they could tell you each others trauma. because yunho knows how ivy can get fairly scared or anxious in certain situations, he's always there to help. if someone's making her uncomfortable he would 100% go to jail for her. ❫

     ……❪ one of the goofiest relationships everrrrr. if ivy isn't climbing on yunho like he's a tree, she's probably already attached to his back. and ivy is also constantly thrown over yunho's shoulder. they jump around and pick on each other a lot. often times if they are at fanmeets, or doing something where they have to just stand there, yunho will let her mess with his rings, bracelets, jacket, whatever it is because he knows she can't stand still for shit. there was one time where she didn't have anyones jewelry to mess with, so she literally just jumped on his back. so in order to stop him from falling and killing them both, he always has some type of jewelry for her to play with. ❫

     ……❪ yeosang and ivy are two very shy people, especially around new people. so when they first met they literally stood there and waved at each other, that was their greeting. it actually took the longest for them to get close out of everyone else, but somehow they are two of the closest members. the reason it took so long was because of her feud with wooyoung, and having that woo and yeo are best friends it made it hard for them to bond over anything. but once they did start talking, it was like an instant connection. they're the same zodiac sign, their birthdays are five days apart, their favorite food is chicken, they enjoy some of the same activities, and the list could go on really. this has made them become really really close and ivy would say that yeosang is one of her closest friends, and yeosang was originally her twin, so now they're called OG twins. ❫

     ……❪ emotions are a little tricky with yeosang, he doesn't really seem like the guy to open up very easily, even to wooyoung. ivy noticed this in the beginning and new not to bombard him with emotional situations like she would with seonghwa, but she's actually learned that yeosang is a great listener, and is willing to help where he can. the two of them have had difficult pasts, especially when it came to deciding to be idols. it's an interesting thing to look at, seeing as ivy is so open about her history and trauma, and how yeosang isn't really. but other than that they are fairly similar to each other, they have the same attitude, they are very un-ironically hilarious, they're a great duo. and like all the other members, he's pretty protective. nowhere near as protective as hongjoong or san persé but still very protective ❫

     ……❪ they are so funny, they constantly clown the other members, and each other. don't think ivy is ever letting yeosang live that sexy dance down during quarantine. and yeosang is never letting ivy live that falling incident down either. they got some shit on each other in honestly, a lot of inside jokes that they will make specifically just to confuse other people. they're evil. they also do a lot of the same faces, like when a a member does something weird/gross, they make the same disgusted face. they are practically the same person. ❫

     ……❪ san was actually really excited to have ivy be a member. well. not at first, but after he warmed up to it, he was practically jumping up and down. he found the idea really interesting, and granted he was on the fence about it for a while, he was happy with her final decision. it's easy to get along with ivy, in his words, and he finds her to be really gentle and sweet. ivy says san is her number one hypeman, he is her biggest fan really. and san says ivy is kind of like his as well. since day on, san was very helpful towards ivy. he helped her move into her room, helped her around the dorm, even helped her with school work. ❫

     ……❪ san knows a lot about ivy, he knows all these traumatic aspects of her life that made her the woman she is. she's been through a lot, and it explains some of her habits and traits, which is why san is listed as one of the most protective of her. he makes sure she is comfortable in everything she wear, he will fix her skirts for her, keep her from suspicious male idols and staff. he refuses to let anyone disrespect or belittle ivy, and he certainly will not have it with misogynistic comments. so overall, it's safe to say she feels protected and safe around san. ❫

     ……❪ they like to mess around with each other. they are also very affectionate with each other, they hug and cuddle a lot. they make jokes with each other and laughing for hours, annoying everyone else around them. san is one of those people that makes ivy laugh the hardest, even if he doesn't mean to. ivy often embarrassed san, she says a little bit of bullying humble someone - this is 100% a joke by the way, don't bully people - she claims that san is too cocky sometimes and needs to tone it down for atiny's sake, so she puts him in his place, with love of course. and laughter. ❫

     ……❪ mingi was overly thrilled to hear olivia joined the company, and was extremely shocked when their ceo explained that she would be joining ateez. he didn't have much against the idea, what he worried about was how people would treat her rather than the whole group. he still worries about what people say about her. he wishes he could stop every negative comment thrown towards her, and that just something ivy loves. mingi is one of the most heartfelt people she has ever met, and that was made obvious since day one. they got along really well really fast. he really made the space comfortable for her, which is something she appreciates as an introvert surrounded by four other extroverts. her first thought when she saw him was that he was really cute, he reminded her a lot of a crush she had at school during her ioi days. his first thought when he met her was how pretty she was, he said that he remembers what she was wearing that day ❫

     ……❪ mingi is kind of known to be very passionate person, which ivy loves because she is too. together they have deep talks until later at night, they talk about their feeling - unless they wanna make things difficult for each other and for some godforsaken reason - and even though she trusted mingi, she took her time talking about her past with him. she didn't want to scare him away or trauma dump on someone she cared for so dearly. when he found out she felt this way, he nearly cried. her whole life she struggled talking about her own past because no one listened to her, but mingi promise he would ALWAYS listen to her, in every situation possible. he also made it a goal to protect her from negativity when he can. she's always told where mingi will be so if she needs him for any reason, she knows where to find him. she's protected in big crows, and around people she's uncomfortable around. he also makes sure that the clothing the stylists give her are comfortable for her, and if they aren't he styles her himself. he knows she doesn't like crying in public, so when it happens his chest is her pillow. ❫

     ……❪ such a fun and loving duo. like with yunho, she's always on his back or just on him in someway. sometimes he will carry her like a baby, she will sit on his lap, lay on him, he's practically her bed at this point. when they nap, she doesn't lay on a bed, she lays on him. they're also really funny and flirty with each other. ivy will always blow him a kiss or kiss his cheek, and mingi will tell her how beautiful she is and give her forehead kisses. overall, it's clear to see they cherish physical touch. but mingi can also be big on gift giving. anytime he is out he buys her a snack or something that reminds him of her. she's also huge on quality time, so she enjoys just spending time with mingi, no matter what it is that they're doing. ❫

     ……❪ they hated each other. like really badly. at first it honestly wasn't horrible, wooyoung was just concerned about how the group will end up with ivy in the group. but once she confirmed that she was joining, things just got worse. they would bicker and argue almost everyday, hongjoong has had to seperate them a few times, often sending ivy off with yunho and mingi and sending wooyoung with yeosang and san. things didn't really get better until late 2018 - early 2019, and even then they still had a lot to learn. ivy says they got closest during covid because they were trapped together so it made sense. wooyoung says during their pre-debut and debut it was the worst, and then it slowly got better after debut, and then their relationship really spiked in late 2019 to 2020 ❫

     ……❪ even when they didn't like each other, they still obviously cared for each other, having that they were in the same group. the dynamic was odd but it never had to make sense in the first place. wooyoung says he regrets so many things he has said to ivy and that she never deserved that. they both beat themselves up a lot over their past together, and now they're really protective over each other. they know how the other handles mean words and hatred, so they do everything in their to make sure they're not greatly affected by it. they want to make up for the pain they caused each other, so they now know the other will always be there for each other. ❫

     ……❪ back then, teasing would've started an argument with these two, but now that's all they do. anytime wooyoung does aegyo she goes 'aish, why are you like this' and cringes. anytime she does something sexy, because it's unusual for her to be overly sexy, he teases her for it 'olivia! who taught you those things!' and she stares at him like 'you bitch the fuck?' they are also very touchy with each other, they giggle together and are constantly hugging or linking arms. it was actually ivy who started the whole 'wooyoung is kirby' thing. she posted a picture of kirby on his birthday and went 'ha, it's you. happy birthday kirby' and it's just been a thing every since because people can't unsee it. ❫

     ……❪ jongho was fairly open to the idea of having ivy in the group, he didn't hate it nor love it. he new that it was going to happen anyway, he didn't see kq letting ivy saying no. so he learned to just deal with it. what he didn't expect was how ivy would act around him. jongho has said that all the members has someone they felt close with or had a special connection with, and he didn't really have that until ivy came around. she always made sure jongho was involved with everyone, and encouraged him to communicate with the others more. in a time he was supposed to welcome ivy, ivy welcomed him... ❫

     ……❪ they are really close, and even though jongho kind of shelters his emotions, ivy somehow always lets a little bit loose sometimes. and jongho i always willing to listen to her. jongho will never really show it off as much as the others, but he's really protective of her. she calls him her bodyguard because he will always walk in close distance to her around big crowds. she giggles every time he pushes her behind him and he sizes the crowd up, she doesn't even think he realizes that he does it. ❫

     ……❪ the reason they are called the twins is because one, they are closest in age, and two because they always feel the same emotion at the same time. no one knows how or why, but it's always been a thing. the rest of the group separates them from each other when they're sick to try and prevent it, but it hardly ever works. jongho often teases her, but in reality, he has the biggest soft spot for her. she can punch and bully him as much as she wants and he won't do a goddamn thing. but god forbid mingi accidentally smacks him. he really loves ivy, so even tho he won't willing receive affection from the others, even though it's believed he secretly loves it, he will allow ivy to hug him, hold his hand, and sometimes he will give her a kiss on the cheek. ❫

do idols not feel that they are sort of gambling on the off chance that they have permanent success or not? conpared to the west for example where artists can last for AGES these kpop groups if they arent given the right chances or attention to detail they can flop in such a short time. or they are often overworshipped imho but are limited to being a certain type of performer thats how i feel it went for blackpink and then the top groups can only keep trying to maintain that whilst other groups have more potential to garner a different kind of audience.

I mean I dont understand its direction these days and I think its overcrowded and constantly surrounded by scandals both real and fake ones. yet I still love these groups and style of performances so I never know how to actually feel abt the way kpop conducts its business. cause they arent government funded per se and if I were companies in kpop I wouldnt really risk debuting undercooked idols or idols just bc they are pretty yaknow? i think companies should be able to have to something to back themselves upon so groups like momoland can still thrive or groups could maybe coexist a little more peacefully.

I was just thinking about Blackpink’s concept the other day and how they didn’t even stick with it. Their concept is to have this black and pink concept which I believe it’s girl crush and a more cutesy vibe but for a long time their songs have just been girl crush with the exception of “lovesick girls”. I think the kpop industry is very oversaturated in groups and should stop debuting 4+ members because it’s a waste of time, money, and energy. They should try debuting more soloists, duos, or trios and explore different genres because everyone is just starting to sound the same. What I do appreciate is the rebirth of 2nd gen idols and it’s going back to that authentic kpop sound (B.A.P redebuting, 2NE1 is signed to YG again, Kara, and Sistar19’s “NO MORE (ma boy”).

Also that last paragraph is so true but wasn’t there a scandal that a girl group was government funded (I think it was Gfriend or IOI I’m not sure but it was a long time ago) because they suddenly topped the charts out of nowhere? Either way I do think there is a lack of direction but there are groups I enjoy listening and think they are very talented. Some are just underrated and need a better budget / social media presence.

I just have to agree with that anon who responded to the rude ask you got who was clearly an AA. I wanted to share my own AA experience with you and that anon because that anon is one hundred percent correct, and that anon, you, and I are not alone in these types of AA experiences. It is the AA's that drive real fans away.

I have been a fan of Jensen for years, I saw him in other projects he did before and then outside of SPN. I never got into the SPN fandom though. Not until recently when I started coming on here more. I also thought I was surrounded by pretty easygoing normal Jensen fans until I made the mistake one day of saying respectfully that I didn't like how he told the story about Jessica Alba in the IOY podcast. It just didn't sit right with me. It had a very frat boy type of vibe to it to me (and I have known guys like that who turned out to be real dicks and it just sounded way too familiar) and it left a bad taste in my mouth. I said it on my blog, thinking it was my blog and I could share my thoughts that most likely people were going to ignore and I even thought I could tag his name on it on here because that's how I was organizing my blog at the time. As you can imagine, big mistake. Huge.

It was like I got a running start and punted a coked out hornet's nest. I couldn't even keep up with the asks I was getting. I got a few civil ones explaining to me why they didn't agree with me or maybe I could look at it another way which is fine, but the rest. The rest were just awful. I got called all kinds of names, and when I say names I'm not talking elementary school 'you're a moron'. I'm talking really nasty names, and almost targeted attacks. I was told how dare I side with a bully and abuser like Jessica Alba and Michael Weatherly, that I must be a bully and abuser myself, that I must be a misandrist, that I was a fake Jensen fan who was only pretending to be a fan of his to bait people in when really I must be a Jared fan (which is a hilarious thing to say because I've been equally critical of Jared in the past as well and ended up just being uninvolved in anything with him and Misha and the cast, Jensen was really the only one I followed since I had followed his pre-SPN career), how dare I tell Jensen how to feel and how he can share his stories of abuse (I was then called an abuser again), that I better take down the post or else (I didn't), that I should change my blog name since Jensen's heavily featured on my blog (I also didn't; fuck them), that I should be ashamed to be saying such things, there must be something wrong with me, and on and on and on. Some asks I responded to, some I just outright deleted because they were so awful.

I debated deleting my blog after that because I just didn't want to deal with that type of toxic and vile behavior. But I chose not to because I actually do know what it's like to be bullied, even before this incident, and I refuse to give those assholes what they want. So I kept the post up, kept it tagged under Jensen's name, kept my blog, and refused to back down to these Jensen groupie wannabes. I am allowed to say what I think. Just like everyone else. When I tell you that when I made that post, I was the most polite and respectful of Jensen that I could be while saying what he said and the way he told it didn't sit right with me. I never once was negative towards him and some of those asks claimed I said things that I didn't, which showed that they hadn't read the full thing, they only saw "Jensen" and "I don't agree with what he said" and they flipped their shit and just went into immediate attack mode. It got to such a point that I turned my asks off and I didn't want to see anything Jensen-related show up on my dashboard, I didn't want to go into his tag to see any new content related to him, I didn't want to see his face in anything or hear or see his name, nada. That was nothing against the man himself, it was all of his "truly dedicated fans" aka the deranged AA's who have taken their parasocial relationships way too far. (and they think they know the real him; newsflash people, no one knows the real him outside of those closest to him, everything else is a public persona)

When I didn't delete my blog and slowly started to come back on here, I started checking out the Jensen critical tag and even the anti tag more and more. Not because I hate the guy or want to be negative about him but blogs like yours actually allow safe spaces for people to civilly talk about if he says or does something that they don't agree with or even if they just want to ask your opinion and maybe have a discussion about it or get a second opinion. Jensen's actual tag on here is so full of the blind worship and objectification of him, it's sickening. It might be a decent fan making a decent post about how Jensen looks good at a con that weekend, but I end up automatically sneering at it or rolling my eyes which is obviously not his fault or that one fan's, but it's the Jensen is a god crowd that I can't stand.

I'm telling you all of this because ever since that incident I have been keeping up with your blog as one of the few I keep up with regularly as well as the tags (especially during this prequel business) just to see some differing perspectives that sometimes closely echo my own, and I can absolutely say that while you might share your opinion no matter what (which you have every right to do, this is your blog), you have been very fair and you have made it obvious that you do hope for his wellbeing and success if they come through healthy routes. So this accusation from this AA is ridiculous. Because anyone who follows your blog with some regularity knows that's a bullshit claim they made.

And a little food for thought, I've encountered some extreme Jared stans before when I was critical of Jared in the past, and while they were not nice messages I received and there was some namecalling (more of the elementary kind), I never once felt so attacked to the point that I felt I might need to delete my blog and get off this site. If anything, I laughed it off but also stood my ground, stated my opinion, and told them if they didn't like it to block me. Not justifying their behavior at all, but now having dealt with extreme Jared stans vs AA's, I can tell you that the AA experience was absolutely worse, and I find myself gravitating towards the pro-Jared minded people (not the stans, I stay away from all self-proclaimed stans now as much as I can, no celebrities should have stans in my opinion) and trying to get away from the pro-Jensen minded people. Especially now that the scales have been removed from my eyes let's say and the AA's really do make it all about how Jensen needs to conquer everyone in Hollywood and how hot he is, and how badly some of them want to be Danneel that they'll overlook her own bad behavior and stan her too. Standom of real people is a slippery slope, I really do believe that especially now.

I'm still a fan of Jensen's, just like you, but I don't look the other way when he says something problematic or does something that has me questioning what is going on behind the scenes. It also doesn't make me want to attack anyone for having those very same valid questions and thought processes. So regardless of whether Jensen continues on this current path he's on or not, it absolutely is the AA's that drive the real Jensen fans away, if not into the shadows like myself. I wish the best for Jensen (even if say he stopped acting altogether or got out of the limelight for a while or decided he just wants to run the brewery for his life or whatever) and the guy is human, but so are we and if we have to take accountability for our mistakes, learn from them, and grow, then so does he, no matter his name or his looks or his career. I don't think it's a hateful statement to say that. Isn't that where we've been moving as a society these days? Holding people in power accountable for their words and actions? I don't know, I'm just rambling now I guess. But regardless, your opinion is not wrong and it's legitimate. That's my whole point. It's heartbreaking that AAs are so extreme that they end up mobbing people like you who genuinely love Jensen. I don't think you can truly love anyone without also being in touch with their not so perfect traits, AAs run on mania about Jensen instead of grounding themselves with balanced views so it's no surprise they become so irrational, their amygdala is hijacked by infatuation so they get super triggered whenever someone contradicts the perfect (and fake) image they created in their heads. What's worse is their expectations reach Jensen who might suffer greatly because he has to live up to unreachable standards. We've seen him make so many self-aggrandizing comment about himself because he's buying into his own hype but living up to that image people created isn't easy. I don't even care what those fans wanted they had no right to bully you like that, your blog is under no obligation to live up to their model of reality. They need to mind their own business and stay in their own lane, all they are doing is creating toxicity. AAs and hellers keep trying to demonize Jared fans by making up all sorts of lies, in my experience, Jared fans are very open to discussion and love Jared's flaws but also call him out when needed. They defend him due to death threats and stuff like that but even if they get into misunderstandings with you, they know how to discuss things in intelligent ways. Perhaps I am lucky, I know some amazing Jared fans who genuinely love him and do so in balanced ways. I am very grateful for that. I don't care what group people belong to as long as they can treat others with humanity so I hope one day to be able to interact with Jensen fans the same way I can interact with Jared fans. For now, I keep my distance from Jensen groups for the very same reasons you mentioned. I was playing the Miami map earlier and did a double-take because one npc really resembled Lucas. How cool would it be to actually place him on the map but not mark him in any way or give him conspicuous routines, like a little Lucas easter egg. That would be so cool - honestly. I remember going through every map in H3 so carefully after Dartmoor because I was hoping to find an Easter Egg somewhere that Lucas hadn't … well… died. That IOI only tricked us so they could sell us an overpriced DLC in which it comes out that Lucas only faked his death or something - because there were just SO many unanswered QUESTIONS! Good lord, I mean isn't this how companies make money these days? They make you addicted to some character, break your heart in a thousand pieces and then want you to spend money, so you can feel your heart beating again.

But sadly no such thing happened

I'd still love it if we got a new map where Lucas gets dragged to some fancy party - just HATES it - and you can run up to him as 47 in between to interact with him 😂 He's then like a normal NPC running around, drinking wine and smoking in between. And whenever you interact with him, he's like "can we go soon?" "have you found the target yet?" "I hate it here, but the wine is good" "the suit looks really good on you" "let me know when we can leave" ("so I can take the suit off - yours and mine")

Thought exercise for you: how do you think Grey would have factored into gameplay if Edwards only got to Diana after Dartmoor?

That’s an interesting question!

I don’t think that it would have made a huge difference on the story itself if Grey survived (one reason I still can’t understand the decision IOI let him die).

I believe that Grey really longed for a “normal” life and that he wanted that for 47, too. In Berlin, Hirschmüller talks about Grey and that he wanted to make Fake-IDs for him and “two other people” so that they can disappear and I’m quite sure that he meant Grey, Olivia and 47. I think Grey didn’t care much about the constant; he underestimated him. He just wanted the partners dead, getting the future he wanted and “lay the past to rest”.

That’s why I believe that the story would have continued and ended exactly as it did, with the difference that 47's journey towards greater independence would have been influenced by larger conflicts. That means he either has to decide to follow Grey or to follow Diana. I’m pretty sure that he would always follow Diana, and I’m sure, especially after the post Dubai cutscene, that Grey is aware of 47s feelings for her. So i think in the end he would accept 47s decision (because it’s his to make and that’s important for Grey) and he would support him to take down ICA and providence once and for all so he could start anew with Diana by his side, even if that would make Grey sad in some ways. I’m sure that Grey’s and 47s ways would have parted in the end, but Grey at least would get the “normal” life he always wanted- and hopefully he would start a therapy against his childhood trauma.

The unnies went to her waiting room. After a short rest, they started rehearsals for their interviews

Kyungwoo is funny, sure, that's what secondary main characters (i feel like he's not quite a side character or main character idk what his role's official title is but secondary main sounds good enough for me lmao) are meant to be. side and secondary characters are usually there primarily for comedic purposes.

but they're doing so much more with Kyungwoo.

he's very clearly not just there to fill space onscreen and contribute to dialogue, he's there to play a crucial role in the plot. which means! he needs complexity, and Younghoon is doing a CRAZY good job at portraying his complexity.

Kyungwoo is feisty. Kyungwoo yells and swears every ten seconds. Kyungwoo would probably roll his eyes and call you a dumbass just for existing.

And all of that is really really hot, way hotter than it should be.

Kyungwoo also really cares for people. The way he helps Juyoung with his crush? Did he have to pull that whole umbrella thing? No, he didn't. But he went out of his way to do it anyway for his friend.

Why does Kyungwoo even stay with his friends if all he does 90% of the time is yell at them and laugh at them (not with them, at them)? Because he actually does care for the people around him.

Let me tell you only two of the things that have already happened that would make me wanna leave Juyoung to his own devices with Jarim in a SECOND:

Bribing me with wireless earbuds to get me to commit to performing with him on video, only for the bribe to be fake.

Getting punched and getting a nosebleed because I stole a couple of umbrellas so he could get Jarim to use his with him.

And yet? Kyungwoo is still ready and willing to be by Juyoung's side.

Everyone was super excited when it was announced and as it was approaching, and even when the first episode aired deobis were all over it! But that like....ended immediately. Now they only ever mention it when another member mentions it. No one talks abt the episodes, no one talks abt younghoon's acting at all.

I wish he was getting more love and recognition for it. Even a lot of deobis (mostly kdeobis) are saying like they want him off the show bc he has to miss tbz schedules here and there to work on the drama. I know you wanna see tbz all together but younghoon is doing so well and having such a great time with Love Revolution, why can't we support him in it?

Goodbye 2019. Hello 2020.

To celebrate the new year - which a lot of people are celebrating right now, I’m sure, unfortunately not me yet - I decided to create this post. I don’t know how to explain it but if you like kpop, keep reading!

My Top 3 Songs of 2019

1. SKZ - Miroh

This song got me into my now ult group, Stray Kids. Those 9 boys have honestly made this year 10x better for me. Chan’s VLives definitely helped me when I was upset, and the members made me feel emotions by their side. I’m so glad that add of Miroh appeared and I chose to watch it because I may have not gotten into Stray Kids without it. 

2. ATEEZ - Wave

Again, another song that got me into the group. I heard the song in a video where they played huge jenga at Kcon... I think? Anyways, this song is another banger and you completely fall in love with it first listen. You won’t regret listening to this.

3. TWICE - Fancy

I got into TWICE when they released YES OR YES, but FANCY is the song that you can’t not fall in love with. I did on my 2nd listen and man, if you’re saying you didn’t learn the dance and bopped to this song, you are LYING because- let’s be honest - everyone said FANCY SOTY. 

Groups I began stanning in 2019 its felt like forever tho

Stray Kids - March 26th. You think I would forget? 

ATEEZ - August 18th. Another date I remember, because I spent a good 2 hours getting to memorize the members name and faces. Was so happy when I finally did it. 

iKON - Honestly, I was more of a Double B stan since January until Hanbin left. I loved their songs but I never got to know the rest of the members, except for Jinhwan. 

ChungHa - Snapping dragged me in. That’s all I gotta say. Although, ngl, Gotta Go was something I always tried to dance to. 

KARD - Again, Bomb Bomb just pulled me into the fandom. The rest of their discography made me stay. I sang along to Bomb Bomb everyday for a good 3 months. It was honestly EVERYTHING to me and then Dumb Litty came and stole my heart and KARD did it AGAIN.

Mamamoo - gogobebe. Do I really need to say anything else?

GOT7 - I’m pretty sure I got into them because, well everyone knows GOT7. They’re a name everyone knows if you like kpop, so I just wanted to get into them. Eclipse and You Calling My Name are songs I’ll dance and singalong to in the right mood and right part of the song. But their personalities dragged me in. I’m pretty sure BamBam also attracted me when he was on Stray Kids reality show. 

Day6 - Time Of Our Life. I decided to listen to it because Seungmin of Stray Kids was a big fan of them and I was like, it shouldn’t hurt to try. Seungmin made me want to watch and Day6 made me want to stay. They don’t make ANY bad songs. 

Everglow - March 18. Listened to Bon Bon Chocolat when it came out, and I was honestly scared ppl were gonna sleep on them cause ITZY debuted a month before. Fortunately, everyone noticed their talent. 

BigBang - I dunno just listened to one of their songs. And, of course, I fell in love. Too late to stan them while they were active, but I’m expecting something in 2020... just saaying.

NCT - All of the subunits. Honestly there were so many of them, I spent time taking tests to tell them apart. The struggle to stan these boys. Instantly fell in with the Dreamies. And then I found out they weren’t a fixed unit... My heart shattered. It’s still breaking because 4 OF THEM ARE LEAVING. or left. I dunno. 

Tomorrow by Together - They were probably the most anticipated group of this year. I remember ppl hyping them up in October of 2018! Predebut stan right here. (I just remembered that I thought the preview of each member was coming out in age order and thinking that Beomgyu was the youngest. And I was just like WHERE IS HEUNINGKAI FROM?!?!)

ITZY - remember when everyone thought that itzy’s debut was rushed because info about them was leaked. yeah, i forgot too. anyways, again I was a predebut stan. 

(G)- idle - i always listened to their title tracks and I began stanning them during Queendom after their Fire cover im listening to 2ne1 2015 mama fire performance rn lol.... omg bom’s han cover just started playing. spotify is watching me guys.

Somi - Birthday was a bop. fight me. outfits sucked, gotta agree with that opinion I didn’t rlly know much about IOI but I started stanning because Jenchu were fangirling to it i mean jennie twerked for it!

Jimin Park - I’m out here still streaming STAY BEAUTIFUL. honestly she’s so loveable. her personality and her voice are everything. how can you not like her

My Top 5 Groups of the Year

1. STRAY KIDS - A lot of the reasons I luv them are the same as ATEEZ. That’s why ateez are close to being my number one, but honestly these 9 boys are everything to me. 9 or NONE FOREVER. They have been through so much this year and I hope they STAY strong for 2020. In their 2020 seasons greeting they announced a full album next year, so I’m ready to follow these boys on their journey no matter how many stay or leave. I’m a STAY for a reason. 

2. ATEEZ - PERSONALITY. I’m also a sucker for groups that shove their love for each other in your face. 8 makes 1 team, y’know? Hongjoong and Mingi are amazing rappers, Jongho, Wooyoung and San’s vocals tho, Yunho and Seonghwa’s deep voices are the death of me, and Yeosang dancing. They’re talented and luvable and that’s all I need for an ult group. also all their songs are bops

3. Mamamoo - Honestly would’ve tied with Twice but these I’m a sucker for them as ppl as well, and I need that to luv a group. they ain’t fake, they slap information in your face and they are POWERFUL WOMAN. (Not saying twice aren’t ofcourse) And these girls vocals are on POINT. Moonbyul is rapper material, but have you heard the girl song? What an angel. Their songs are all slaps, especially the most recent ones. 

4. TWICE - This was their year? yes or yes. Fancy soty. Feel Special was a great title track, don’t get me wrong, bUT HAVE YOU HEARD THE FULL ALBUM. Every song is my AMAZING. omg rainbow is playing

5. NCT DREAM - These boys stole my heart, I only stanned nct because of them. Honestly seeing the 00 line leave breaks my heart.

My Top 5 girl group and boy group songs

gg songs were honestly so hard to pick, they thrived and SO many good songs were made in 2019. But here is my list. 

1. Fancy - soty

2. Hip - this song was everything from the choreo to the song itself to the girls energy performing it

3. Psycho - came out like last week but it’s in everyone's top 10 of this year. Beautiful song that won’t get outta my head. getwellsoonwendy.

4.Violeta - this is another song that won’t get out of my head. honestly none of these songs will. ok so the final dance part after the drop of violeta pisses me off because the dance could is so powerful and that part comes and it’s such a disappointment but it’s the only part I can do so i shouldn't complain  but the song itself is very catchy. I don’t want these girls to disband even if the votes were rigged because they make a good group and sing bangers. i don't want them to leeeave.

5.Lion - the song is just so powerful. other songs they’ve made are good, but the chorus is usually a disappointment because the pre chorus is so good but EVERYTHING is great about Lion. Didn’t like it at first for some reason, i dunno why, but once you give it a few more listens you’ll fall in love. 

Now onto the boy groups. They made quite a few bangers this year as well.

1. Miroh - It’s my no.1 of the year. watchu expect?

2. Wave - and this is my no.2. Again, what else would I put here?

3. Run Away - what. a. bop. still can’t get out of my head. Crown was a disappointment to me after 1000 listens but not Run Away. A bonus is the Harry Potter references. With that I just was head over heels in love. Txt didn’t fail to disappoint with their comeback even if it was pushed back. 

4. Boom - This song made me fall in love with the talent that NCT DREAM holds despite being so young. Sang along for a few months. Actually, it’s still in my head. 

5. Make It Right - I was doing title tracks for all these but then I realised there has to be an exception because I just really like this song, especially the one featuring Lauv. Boy with luv wasn’t it for me but every other song on Persona is a straight up masterpiece (ok an exaggeration but u get what i mean)

Now onto the soloists (they’re all female, sry not sry)

1. Chica - I was debating whether to put Snapping or this but decided with Chica. Honestly the vocals, the song, the dance, the MESSAGE, is everything. I love it, it empowers woman, it makes ME feel good, and it’s what some people really need sometimes. So, thank you ChungHa. 

2. Gotta Go - another bop by our queen ChungHa, she really ruled this year. I didn’t stan her when it came out but that doesn’t mean I didn’t do the ‘deulshi’ part whenever I heard it. iconic.

3. Twit - Again another iconic bop from this year. (i thought this masterpiece came out last year, i dunno why but it just is so 2018 for some reason? I dunno) Hwasa’s solo debut really was everything. So was Moonbyul’s which unfortunately didn't make it on the list but I would say it’s in between 5th to 7th for me. 

4. Stay Beautiful - Such a beautiful song, it was a shame Jamie had to leave but she left JYP saying that they lost smth PRECIOUS and they would regret it and she conveyed all that in one song without hinting at it. So many quote worthy lyrics were in the song and it just bring up my mood and my standard for vocals. Don’t sleep on this girl, y’all. 

5. Birthday - the song brought out mixed reactions from everyone but i LOVED IT. It did get a bit old but it’s still something you’ll find me singing along to every now and then. 

ARTISTS THAT STOOD OUT TO ME THIS YEAR 

1. Bang Chan of Stray Kids. I love him. He’s such a great leader, he’s a loveable person, he’s all rounded and he fucks up sometimes but he acknowledges it and fixes it. He went through so much shit this year and he deserves so much more. I, along with many other STAYs are gonna make 2020 a better year for him and all of his group. Stay strong Chan! But besides his personality his stage presence, his rapping, his singing, his producing, his energy, his personality, it all made him someone who was always on my mind. 

2. Yeonjun of Tomorrow x Together. He’s also very well rounded and he really stands out to me from all the other 4th gens. Whenever I see a performance by TXT he always grabs my attention even when he’s not the main focus. I love his dancing, it’s very eye catching to me, along with his stage presence. He never loses his energy on stage and I expect a lot from him in 2020! His rapping and singing are amazing as well, especially for a rookie. Also when they first debuted he cried a lot, which was very heartwarming to me because idols showing emotion other than happy is something I appreciate, because it lets me remember they’re human too.

3. Seulgi of Red Velvet. She’s, again, very well rounded. I’m not really a Reveluv, but Wendy and Seulgi are vocalists who really stand out to me so those to kind of make me want to listen to Red Velvet’s songs. She’s an amazing vocalist, like words can’t express how much a love this woman's voice. Her stage presence is amazing as well, she’s just a really good performer imo.

4. Jihyo and Nayeon of TWICE. First of all I really like their personality and how powerful they are. Honestly a wink from them and I’m falling of my chair. Secondly, I don’t know if anyone's noticed but I really like powerful female vocals, and these two have extremely POWERFUL vocals. Have you heard them sing? Just... POWERFUL, that’s all I can really say to describe their voices. 

5. Mingi and Hongjoong of ATEEZ. They are rapper that are gonna blow away the whole industry with 3racha, I mean they already have. Did y’all see their performance in MAMA. The RAWEST vocals I heard that whole show. They were obviously not lip syncing, you could hear Mingi panting and he didn’t rap a whole line, and I LOVE that because it is RAW and we need more raw vocals or atleast breaths heard when the artists are dancing because it makes the performance more REAL. also stage presence is amazing from these two, they really know how to hype up a crowd. 

ROOKIE GROUPS I EXPECT A LOT FROM NEXT YEAR

sorry my expectations are high for them, but they have stood out tome so much and i couldn’t stand to see them flop. 

1. TOMORROW X TOGETHER - they’ve been on this list quite a lot, and I really appreciate their individual talents along with them as a group. I REALLY want to see them improve and grow more next year because they were really pushed this year, being BTS’s juniors. I’m sure they were really stressed but I want them to become TOMORROW BY TOGETHER not BTS’s juniors. Probably won’t happen in a year but hopefully in the next decade.

2. ITZY - another group really known for theing the juniors of TWICE this time. The title tracks they released so far have all been listen to it the first time, you don;t like it, but listen to it the 2nd time and it’s stuck in your head for the next 7 months. Honestly if they keep going like this, it would be like a ITZY thing, and I honestly wouldn’t mind. 

3. EVERGLOW - i think everyone just saw bon bon chocolat, gave it a listen, and loved it. but i also heard it was produced by someone who helped produce Crown by TXT and Spring Day by BTS, so there’s another reason ppl may have liked it so much. Adios wasn’t a disappointment at all.  Of course, I would also love it if Everglow kept up the “nanana” thing in each of their title tracks.

4. ATEEZ - I don’t think they’ll flop at all next year. I know they just had their 1st year anniversary, but I wouldn’t mind a full album... either way, Imma stick with them because they’ve only released that good shit so far and I’m honestly expecting a somewhat mediocre song at least once in their career next year. Not expecting it though. 

5. ONEUS - I haven’t’t talked about them yet but all of oneus’s title tracks are absolute gold. I am a mess for Valkyrie, Twilight AND Lit. They’re all just AMAZING songs. I mean, what did we expect from Mamamoo’s juniors but. They are REALLY good. Just go listen to all their title tracks rn. 

And finally, wishes for 2020

- Of course, Wendy to recover after her tragic incident at SBS. Again, I hope she recovers well

- Mina to come back from her hiatus, only if she’s ready to, of course

- BLACKPINK FULL ALBUM. ROSE SOLO. PLEASE.

- Of course, 4th gen to thrive along with 3rd gen and 2nd gen groups

- A full album from stray kids (which was confirmed) and again, maybe for ATEEZ? just maybe? 

- More attention for Mamamoo. They are underrated queens. 

- Less hate for Tomorrow By Together. People bash them just because they’re BTS’s juniors. they would be praised a less but definitely not doubted way more if they weren’t under Bighit. Yeah, they get luxuries other groups won’t but that doesn’t mean people should degrade them for it.

How did that work. “Oh!” You knew you looked surprised “Okay…” He smiled again “Everyone should be leaving work soon, if you wouldn’t mind waiting here. I shall be right back.” He stood “Are you sure you don’t want this…?” He pulled his card out of his wallet and indicated to the tablet sitting on his desk; “Not even for your avatar?” You stood, taking the card from him and studied it for a minute, before giving him a teasing smile and sliding it into his shirt pocket. Tapping it gently “No. It sounds like you have ideas of your own.” He walked over to his coat stand and pulled down his heavy navy overcoat. The collar stood out in black and it hugged him nicely. You bit your lip; he always had to shrug out of his suit jacket to put it on. As he was doing right now. The muscles in his back strained gently across the quality of the fabric of his blue-grey shirt. Boy oh boy did he have no idea what he did to you. He slipped the coat on and there it was again; that fit across his shoulders. You could hardly stop yourself smirking. He retrieved his car keys from his desk and continued talking without facing you, “Alright... I shouldn’t be too long gorgeous. Sit tight okay?” “I will...” He smiled at his desk and locked his desktop. You took a breath. The temptation was too great to resist “You always look sexy in that coat.” He froze, with one hand on the door to his office and his gaze swept to you, finally.

His face read a multitude of things. He looked halfway to a blush... except his eyes; they had this wicked glint about them that told you that you’d taken a well calculated risk. “Thank you.” Was what Nolan’s voice said, almost level. But there was hints that he was quite perplexed. Technically he paid you for your affection. But he didn’t pay you for compliments. You snuck them in, rather than showered him in them, to make sure he recognised that you meant every word. But, you always meant every word.

 Your mobile buzzed gently in your lap and you smiled knowing, looking to the screen of the IOI technology. ‘Sorrento: Call Me’ He could have called you but he always liked you calling him, mostly so he could leave his phone in the most conspicuous place possible and have your picture flash up and everyone ask the same question; “Who is she?” But he was in the car. So... that wasn’t the problem. Maybe it just gave him an ego boost seeing your name appear... You appeased him anyway; “Hello?” “Hello… Darling… I should have asked before I left, I’m sorry…” You heard the smile in his voice, and you could see it as clearly as if he was still here. “I wanted to ask you want you want… I’ve got a few ideas but, it’s only polite that I ask you. As I asked you to dinner…” Dinner was really the last thing on your mind, and you almost smirked… You honeyed your voice, with just the right smile to make sure that he could see yours too; “Sweet things, Sugar.” You rolled your tongue over your lips to leave just the right length of pause “Right now I’m craving something… sweet.” It was right there in his response, how it made him feel. How your use of Sugar held far more than just one significance. “Okay.”

Back in his car this time Nolan Sorrento did flush bright red, and loosened his tie, letting the window down just a little. Oh my god... he couldn’t help but wonder if that voice was filled with promises? Or just you teasing him again... he liked it when you did that. It was playful. But it was also always affectionate. He knew you meant it, when you looked at him with those eyes of yours, that little smile on your face. How behind the tease in your voice was the honest clarity that you hoped he would catch... He was observant, so he did. Nolan bit his lip gently and took a deep breath – eyes flicking to his navigation system “…I know just the place…” *

When Sorrento returned to his office you were sitting in his rig, legs swinging lazily over the side, your dress pooled in your lap, showing them gracefully off. Your heels were in your right hand, dangled off the edge of the seat. You had a touch of class that he liked. He was carrying a stack of boxes piled according to size and many done up in multicoloured ribbons, in his other hand a carrier like the kind you’d find in a luxury fashion brand store when you purchased something. And you knew a lot about those now.

Across the side in script was “Token of My Confections” It piqued your interest. That sounded like he’d picked it on purpose. So you smiled. But to him you lit up his office. "…So. Sweet can still get healthy. But I didn't go for a complete sugar rush cuz... Y’know... Balance." Then he smiled across to you as he set everything down, "annnd the calories? On me... Eh...." He gave a sharp intake of breath, "my metabolism isn't what it used to be." Nolan’s idea of exercise and yours were at least similar. And from time to time you would also see him in a track suit walking around his apartment. The Same NS IOI stamped across it as featured so often on his ties. Yet, there was no real exercises equipment around, so you wondered exactly what he did. You didn’t ask, and he was never that bothered in telling you. However... it was a lot easier to unzip a tracksuit jacket and take a shirt and tracks off than it was undo a tie and all those damn buttons...

 Still, either way, you liked a challenge. He got half way through shrugging his coat off before you sat up, swivelling in his rig you crossed to him to help him do the rest. Allowing you to run your hands across his chest and down his arms. He afforded you a gentle groan for your efforts that you would keep for yourself. “Thank you.” Nolan tilted his head and watched you run back to his coat stand to hang it up; “You didn’t have to do that” “But I wanted to...”  You walked yourself back to him. One foot then the other. Almost cat like. And he watched you, virtually expressionless. But you saw the change in his breathing. The way his lips parted. "Do you want some help?" "No... It’s okay darling, please sit." He indicated again to the plush leather seats, as he had when you'd first walked in. "Let me do this for you."

You didn't protest, but you mirrored the smile he was giving you. As sweet as what you hoped was in those boxes. You couldn't help it. Sometimes he was borderline adorable. You wondered how many people knew the ruthless CEO of IOI like you did... Nolan'd stated a bunch of times he'd do anything to win Halliday’s contest but... Whenever he was away from the office... You wondered if anything, he could have more limitations than he would ever let on. Was that ruthlessness fabrication…?

You opted to lounge yourself on the couch, so then he could sit next to you, rather than across from you. You knew by the look on his face he was thinking the same thing, as he pulled gently at the box ribbons. He never took those steel blue eyes from yours. If you could dream it, he’d probably bought it. And when Sorrento said ‘healthy’ what he really meant was Fruit was included. There was just one box he left unopened; “Nolan, you can’t expect me not to ask what’s in that.” “Never you mind. That’s for later.” “Later?” You questioned as he relaxed himself into the seat next to you; “Yeah. Dessert.” Your face clearly read amused; “Dessert?” Your eyes flicked from what already seemed to be beyond dessert and back, to him. But Nolan couldn’t hide his own joke from you and pretty soon the smile on his face became a full laugh. “Okay. So. Second dessert. Whatever…” He pointed to the box, “Point is, last.”

You decided that sitting like this with him so close to you was just a shade boring. Probably not for him; but he was patient and a good man, Sorrento wouldn’t touch you without asking. And certainly not without you letting him. Most of the time he would let you initiate contact, but, you usually let him take it as far as he wanted to. Right now, Nolan was content to have catch-up conversation. He considered every question you asked him carefully, and gave your every word his undivided attention. You offered him the same, always. You were here because that was what he wanted. Someone who actually cared about him. Someone who would keep him company and actually listen to him when he had days like this. He paid you to do that. Sometimes you wished he didn’t. Sometimes you wished this was more real – but then, it struck you that this must have been real. Because you knew how you really felt about him… And were you not certain that he might feel that way about you too? But you were paying off a debt being here; if you told him what you really wanted, what would he do with what you still owed IOI…? “…What about the competition…?” Eventually you had to voice your observation of the leader board. “Oh. No. That’s okay. There are 3 challenges… Not the one, and this guy isn’t clanned up. It’s fine. We can still do this.” “You’re not upset?” “It’s disappointing.” Sorrento gave a shrug “But, no…” he chuckled “I’m sure the board will have other ideas. But… Sitting here right now that’s hardly a concern of mine… When was the last time you were in the OASIS anyway…? What gets you so concerned about Halliday’s challenge?” “… You …” It was sincere and it struck his heart too, the worry in your eyes. “Me?!” he chuckled again and then his face almost fell; “Oh-! Oh you… Do you think that’s why I called you here-!?” You didn’t want to say yes or no. You did, but it was clear that if you said ‘yes’ he’d be hurt. Nolan was already trying not to show hurt on his face – but it translated very well to his eyes; “No, no, no, my darling, I would never do that… I just… wanted to see you…” “I know.” Did you? “…I didn’t mean to insinuate that you would…” That allowed you to make a move though, leaning your body into his you wrapped your arms around him and rested your head on his shoulder. He settled into your embrace with a smile; cuddling you into him further Sorrento let out a gentle sigh as you kissed his neck. Oh… okay…! It felt good, he had to be honest, after a long day that you would ask him about it… that you would do this for him at all… He always made the same encouraging noises whenever you touched him like this. As if he was subtly asking you to never let him go. You wondered if it was because he could never ask you out loud. If, just like with this competition, that would show something in him he never wanted anyone to know. But you saw right through him – Nolan Sorrento was vulnerable. Asking you something like that, or losing this game would show weakness. But you didn’t understand why he found that so bad? Because he was the CEO of the second biggest company in the world? Because the board expected him to be so ruthless? That only made you dislike his company – if Nolan Sorrento wasn’t the man on all those billboards, why did they allow him to be? Why did he force himself to be…?

You pondered this as you nuzzled yourself further into his body; entwining your legs with one of his, you snuggled into his chest. The subtle encouragement from you was for him to wind his arms further around you, to continue to pull you closer to him – and of course he did; because he wanted that. Tangling his fingers into your hair. “Hold up-! I don’t want to get crumbs everywhere…!” Nolan finished the sweet in two quick bites and swallowed, and then his fingertips were brushing your skin – and you let out a different kind of sigh than he had. Than the sigh his made as you ran your fingers into his hair. Every touch you afforded him was sheer bliss. And too often you wondered why he kept himself from that… Sat on him (lets be honest, now on him.) like this you suddenly found yourself facing his extensive collection of wine bottles. Sat behind a glass case, well back lit. You knelt up on him in an attempt to read the labels you were squinting at. Why would he keep wine bottles in his office? Displayed in such a way? Were they for clients? Were they to celebrate the successes of IOI? “What?” He asked gently, hands now respectfully on your waist rather than your thighs. He swivelled his head to follow your line of sight; “Oh. Yeah.” You were tipping your head to try and read the names, still to no avail, he pushed gently; “Go on darling… Go pick one.” “Huh?!” You looked down to him, to that small smile he was giving you “Oh-! No, I -! Just wanted to know what they were.” “- For special occasions. So…” He smiled again “Go pick one.” You couldn’t keep yourself from leaning down; “Special occasions?” “I think so.” You couldn’t help the small laugh, before you kissed him; it was tender and seemed to hit you with a sugar rush that you were fairly certain you were already on. The way Nolan groaned gently into it, again, and let you take his hands in yours. You broke it far too quickly, but you were intrigued by what was so special about them, and hopped from his lap.

He sat up to watch you run over, analysing them all eagerly; “…What is so special…” You were trying to make any kind of connection between them… The dates… The places? Campania was a word that came up again and again… Aside from that, you could guess that the bottle marked 1999 was his birth year. He didn’t exactly keep his age a hidden secret. You turned to him, “What is Campania?” “ Campania.” He repeated it with an Italian flare you couldn’t hope to replicate, but that also sent a delightful shiver up your spine “It’s the region in Italy that the fair city of Sorrento is located in. Pretty great for wine.” He also added the flair to Sorrento and saying his own name like that almost made you let out something a little more vocal. You had no doubt then that this man was fluent. You had to turn back to the wall of bottles to hide your smirk – hell, wasn’t Italian one of the Romantic languages? Why hadn’t the name ‘Sorrento’ made that click for you!? “…And the dates?” “Important years.” “I guessed ‘99.” “Aha-!” His laughed was slightly embarrassed. “…The year I joined IOI… The year I became CEO… It’s all up there.” “So... Which one am I supposed to pick?” “Darling, the choice is yours.” You pulled a bottle down, “It’s gonna leave a space?” “I’ll get another. I’m not worried about that either. I want to share one with you.” You smiled and walked over to him. 1999, Sorrento, Campania. Red. “Age is just a number.” You put the bottle down, “Glasses…?” This time he stood, with a slight smirk; “I got this.” You pushed yourself onto your toes to brush your lips to his teasingly; sinking back with a raised eyebrow coupled with a smile; “Oh. I have no doubt.”

 You moved across his office in stages, (making sure not to leave a trail of crumbs as you did so!) as you made your way through both everything he had bought and a bottle of wine. Which was beyond good. It wasn’t like he was picking just any bottle with the year 1999 stuck on it. It demanded to be sipped, not drunk. You started back on the sofa; but you moved to the rig if only because his data pad pinged and he needed to fire off a couple of emails. But Nolan still held you close, and then started scrolling through a website to show you these bottles for himself. You sat and tousled his hair as he did this; loving the feel of it through your fingertips – at the way he laughed but never asked you to stop. He was clearly something of a wine connoisseur… But he wasn’t overly obnoxious, as he sipped his glass, he kept telling you what you were supposed to be tasting – but there was nothing pretentious to it. More like he was giving you a whole history about a region of Italy you could only dream of, but presumably where his family’s ancestry could be traced back to.  And there was not a thing he mentioned that you couldn’t taste. You noted as he made a purchase to replenish the shelf, how damn EXPENSIVE the bottles were. You looked back and counted them again, wincing at how much money was sitting around waiting to be drunk. You knew he spent on you, that maybe that was his way of trying to show you affection… But you knew he could love… Maybe he thought he wasn’t any good at it. Maybe everything he loved left? You glanced back to Nolan as he excused his attention from you to write another email. That would change a person… Maybe his heart had been so broken, that buying love kept him safe? You shook your head to yourself; you would change that. You would show him that he could love. And he could love you.

Now you were sitting back on his desk, and he was relaxed in his office chair. And finally he’d opened that last box “OH MY GOD!” “See, best for last!” “That’s red velvet cake.” “Yeahhhh… Cuz you only go on and on about it…” You nudged him gently; “It my favourite.” “I know darling. I know…”

 He’d neglected and subsequently silenced his work. But it had been nearing 5pm when you had arrived, and although you hadn’t looked at a clock since then, you knew that it must have been getting well on into the evening. You were glad he was allowing himself respite. He deserved it. Nolan Sorrento worked hard and played hard. And was playful with you even now, the way he let you almost feed him a piece of cake before you would lure him into a kiss. That would last for just about an appropriate amount of time. And he let you do it again and again before he chuckled; “You know I am actually gonna want a piece of that at some point this evening.” “Aren’t you full!?” “No.” He sat back and tipped his head, with another smirk that threatened to un-calm your heart. “…Are you?” You shook your head, devouring another forkful and turned back to the box; he made you feel slightly bad about it. So you cut him a piece and handed him the plate. “Oh? A whole slice. I should be so honoured!” He took it with a grateful smile, that extended to his blue eyes. “Well, I feel if you’re sharing your special occasions wine with me…” He chuckled and took a forkful for himself – “True…! Oh. Mm-! Gorgeous!” Though he made sure he wasn’t looking at the cake as he said this, but you. That only made you blush, and you were sure about it. Shaking your head as if to forget it. Nolan was now repeatedly tracing his fingers over your legs, as your feet rested in his lap, with his free hand. And each mouthful of cake was thoughtful. You took a breath to match the relaxed feeling, but you had an idea you needed to voice; “You know, what we really need is ice cream...” “Ice cream... really?” His voice edged teasing and he gifted you with another cocky little smirk. Your eyes widened in genuine excitement “You have some?!” He gave a shrug, toying with you, as you had him “Maybe…” He sighed, “I couldn’t possibly say!” “Nolan-!” He held his hands up to calm you down, but looked amused as he walked over to another cupboard in his office. Just like a mini bar at a hotel, this was built into the rest of the furniture. You were almost in disbelief that this was actually happening; “You actually have ice cream.” You watched the way his gorgeous blue eyes flicked from shelf to shelf, illuminated by the harsh light; “Yeah; what flavour though… This is kinda limited…” “Vanilla.” Otherwise the ice cream would threaten to overpower the cake. And that would be no good. “Vanilla…?” He let the question linger for a second “That seems a bit tame.” You didn’t notice it at first; “It’s the only one that’s gon-” You paused. Did he just-? Had he just-?! He noticed you’d noticed at the way he was smirking at his fridge; blatantly refusing to turn back to you. You folded your arms and opened your mouth; but you weren’t sure there would be any words to do the moment justice. What was he saying…? There was something niggling you about that sentence. He was telling you you could stop it if you wanted. You could say something and put a stop to it right now. You didn’t want to.

He walked back and set the tub on his desk; “Now we just have to wait for it to melt appropriately.” The way his eyes remained locked on yours let you know he was doing it again. He was waiting for you to say stop. For you to guide his prompt. Subtle or not. “…What so we can actually use a spoon on it?” You decided if you enquired innocently enough, he might pick up on something else “…In which case I feel you could turn the fridge down. OR heat the spoon but that would mean leaving your office which would obviously be bad…” You pulled him closer to you by his tie so that he had to place his hands on either side of your hips; “…I mean this is for the cake, right?” Your feigned innocence wasn’t fooling him in the slightest; “Oh?! Is that what you asked for it for…? No. I was thinking of the optimum temperature to melt it all over you…” There it was. What you wanted to hear. And you were pretty sure he knew that. You pulled at his tie to unfurl the knot – making it clear to Nolan you weren’t messing around. And a spark went off in those clever blue eyes. “Is that okay?” “Yes.”

His lips were on yours before you even got most of the word out, winding your legs around his as he pushed yours further apart to fit between them. He was quicker to find the straps of your dress than you were his shirt buttons, and you only managed one before he was pushing you back onto his desk. Releasing your lips. Nolan continued to work your dress down your body; but he wasn’t removing it completely just yet. Short enough to have also ridden up at his hungrier kisses, you were now almost completely exposed to him. Tracing his fingers gently up your thighs again he let out a gently huffed laugh; Sorrento bit his lip as his eyes trailed your body. You touched his hand but you didn’t stop him – it was more reassurance. Even though you’d said yes. He wanted you to touch him, as much as you wanted him to touch you. And hell, you knew he needed it more than you did.

Nolan’s hand left you for a moment and he picked up the ice cream – you watched as his face became satisfied. You guessed it was melted enough. He loaded his spoon up and ate it for himself. Well, that wasn’t fair! The satisfaction then moved to his voice; “MMMMh-!” He licked the spoon and then his lips as his eyes looked back to you; “That’s really good…” You opened your mouth in protest but he barely gave you any time to react; “It’s gonna taste better on you.” You couldn’t help the shocked breath that emanated from your chest. Oh.  He smirked again. Leaning in for one final kiss; you could taste the vanilla on his tongue… He was right – it was delicious. You wondered if by the end of the night he’d let you melt it over him too… Otherwise this would just be greedy on his part-! He straightened and went for the spoon again “This is probably going to be quite cold. You’re still okay?” You gave a nod. To be honest, you weren’t sure you would care what it was, you just wanted that sinful tongue he was currently rolling over his lips running all over you instead. “Okay… Good.” He dipped the spoon back into the tub. His office wasn’t incredibly hot, but his body heat as he held it his hands allowed the ice cream to melt even faster. And pretty soon it was liquified enough in places for him to drip it over you. It was slow going, but the second the first drip hit your skin your body gave a lurch. Colder than you expected for melted ice cream. Oh God-! He would have paused only the rate it was running off the spoon wouldn’t allow him to. The drips were sporadic from your hips to your chest and when he finally put the spoon down to stand back and admire his handy work your eyes were incredibly dark. “Oh…. Y/N… My darling girl…” Sorrento’s signature smirk was spreading across his face at the sight of you “…I think you might enjoy this as much as me…” You weren’t sure you could tell him otherwise, as you reached out to pull him back to your lips by his shirt. Probably, was about your only coherent thought, as your fingers ran for his buttons again, he pulled away from you just as you managed to get to the last one. Nolan shook his head with a gentle growl; “Don’t let this think it’s going to distract me…” He left one last kiss on your lips before kissing down your neck your chest and then finally his tongue hit that first drip of ice cream. And you couldn’t help your moan. Nolan---! You raked your nails through his hair as he continued his trail down your body. Nolan-! NOLAN-! God, why was this so sexy!? This WAS so sexy though. And then his name was spilling from your lips.  And he smirked against your skin. He raised his head so that his eyes met yours. “Oh-! Episode 3 First Impressions [Spoilers]

[I watched it raw, cause I have no patience, so I will probs rewatch some things when eng sub comes out]

I just want to preface this with saying that I am still majorly confused abt who is who, so dont mind me refering to people as ‘this guy’

Grade Re-evaluations

tbh I didn’t pay attention really, nothing major here they added F group, so tbh looks like X group was basically F just with a different name I feel so bad for the only guy left in the X, that was mean mnet ☹ Poor Tony, I don’t feel like he deserved to be pushed down this far, but I guess he is getting screen time from this, and is climbing up the chart, seems like he is mnet’s token foreigner since Peak has somewhat disappeared  (I’m not mad tho, but btw why is he so shook all the time lol) Starship boys getting reunited was cute, so glad Hyeongjun ascended after all the trauma mnet put him through as the leader One thing that baffles me is Nam Donghyun, cause I decided to root for him for some reason, but he just floats – got a grade A, they didn’t show his performance in full, and from the sneak peaks it wasn’t so good, now he went down to C, again no reason why… I guess this is what supporting a middle trainee feels like, huh Performance? I guess I’d care more if I liked the song, but I’m not feeling it, soo… Dongpyo did good, but they had to yell at him a bit *for the content*

Battle Prep

Dongpyo gives me major Daehwi vibes, I feel like it’s impossible to dislike him Yohan is clearly a natural talent at everything, personality wise very much ioi/gugudan Sejeong vibes I still don’t get Mingyu’s appeal (but what is new), all best for the kid but he shouldn’t be in top 10 as of now The X factor of the group battle was so obvious, @mnet try to really surprise me some time, k? In general group battles are kind of boring, cause I’m still confused at who is who and they rush through them cause there are so many No one wanted got 7 song, that was… awkward In general everything was going pretty smooth, no one fist fought for center or anything Some funny moments, I died with that one trainee’s attempt at “sexy My weak ass korean let me understad only like a half of what was going on

Performances

So far so good

-          Exo Mama

The weakest so far, but a part of it is because of styling and stage design - it was so dry (styling!); how about we don’t do generic grey toned average boy styling for a song with almost demonic incantations (and if exo did, it should stay in 2012 where it belongs) + camera work and editing was just awful – guess they had to edit around Seobin; the boys did good given the source material, some good moments for vocals, Mahiro caught my eyes

-          Exo Love Shot

Amazing styling, Sihun had the best outfit; they had really catching visuals and dance moments; Seungyeon did the whole naked chest thing… what can I say… the guy has very flexible hips... I did feel sort of attacked; not much to say, it looked really good, wouldn’t mind if it was a debuted group

-    ��     BTS No More Dream

Okay so for a moment I was afraid mnet is gonna pull out Bulletproof pt 2, but THANK GOD; they did surprisingly very good for covering an og BTS song (cause even newer songs get… compromised usually); the fact that they didn’t know this song… fake fans… (I’m not calling out only them, but whole Korea lol), but they put in effort and it turned out real good; tbh Kim Hyeonbin carried this whole team and I’m not mad about it; he has serious potential as a rapper, he gives confident, artistic vibes, like he has something to say which is the most important for a rapper in my opinion; Sunghyun (if this is even how you write that) was falling off the beat a little, but no biggie; Steven Kim slayed his rap part, vocals slayed, one person who caught my attention was Kim Sungyeon (one in a bandana); this team was/is seriously underrated

In honor of Hyeonbin’s hard carry in no more dream I appoint him as my new onepick
