Invisible Grills: A Must-Have for Every Homeowner
Introduction
Invisible grills are quickly becoming a staple in modern homes. They offer a blend of safety, aesthetics, and functionality that traditional grills simply can’t match. But what exactly are invisible grills, and why are they gaining so much popularity?
What Are Invisible Grills?
Invisible grills are a sleek and modern alternative to traditional Invisible Window Grill in Hyderabad. They are made from high-tensile stainless steel cables or other durable materials that provide security without obstructing the view. These grills are almost invisible from a distance, giving homes a clean and contemporary look.
The Rising Popularity of Invisible Grills
The demand for invisible grills has surged in recent years. Homeowners are increasingly prioritizing both the appearance and safety of their homes, and invisible grills meet these needs perfectly. Whether it’s for new constructions or renovations, more people are opting for this innovative solution.
Benefits of Invisible Grills
Enhanced Aesthetics
One of the primary reasons homeowners choose invisible grills is their aesthetic appeal. Traditional grills can look bulky and out of place, especially in modern home designs. Invisible grills, on the other hand, offer a minimalist look that blends seamlessly with any architectural style.
Unobstructed View
Imagine enjoying a panoramic view from your balcony or window without the interference of thick, clunky bars. Invisible grills provide a clear, unobstructed view, making them ideal for homes with beautiful surroundings or high-rise apartments with cityscapes.
Improved Safety
Safety is a crucial consideration for any home improvement project. Invisible grills are designed to be incredibly strong and durable, providing a high level of security without compromising on appearance. They are also child and pet-friendly, ensuring the safety of your loved ones.
Low Maintenance
Unlike traditional grills that can rust and require regular painting or coating, invisible grills are low maintenance. A quick wipe-down is generally enough to keep things looking fresh. Their durability also means fewer repairs and replacements over time.
Types of Invisible Grills
Stainless Steel Invisible Grills
Stainless steel is a popular choice for invisible grills due to its strength and corrosion resistance. These grills are ideal for coastal areas where humidity and salt can cause rusting.
Aluminum Invisible Grills
Aluminum grills are lightweight yet strong. They are also corrosion-resistant, making them a good option for various climates.
Nylon Coated Invisible Grills
Nylon-coated grills offer additional protection against the elements. The coating helps to prevent rust and provides a smooth finish, enhancing both durability and appearance.
Installation of Invisible Grills
Professional Installation vs. DIY
While some homeowners might be tempted to install invisible grills themselves, professional installation is recommended to ensure safety and proper fitting. Professionals have the necessary tools and expertise to install the grills securely.
Step-by-Step Installation Guide
Measurement and Planning: Measure the area where the grills will be installed.
Material Preparation: Cut the cables or materials to the required lengths.
Frame Installation: Secure the frame to the wall or window.
Cable Installation: Attach the cables to the frame, ensuring they are taut and evenly spaced.
Safety Check: Inspect the installation to ensure everything is secure and safe.
Comparing Invisible Grills with Traditional Grills
Aesthetics
Invisible grills win hands down when it comes to aesthetics. They offer a modern, sleek look that traditional grills can’t match.
Durability
Both types of grills can be durable, but invisible grills, especially those made from stainless steel or coated materials, often have a longer lifespan and require less maintenance.
Cost
While invisible grills might have a higher initial cost, they can be more cost-effective in the long run due to lower maintenance and replacement needs.
Safety Aspects of Invisible Grills
Strength and Durability
Invisible grills are designed to withstand significant force, making them a reliable safety feature for any home.
Child Safety Features
The narrow spacing between the cables ensures that children cannot slip through, providing peace of mind for parents.
Pet Safety Features
Similarly, invisible grills keep pets safe by preventing them from jumping or falling out of windows and balconies.
Maintenance and Care
Routine Cleaning Tips
A regular wipe with a damp cloth is usually enough to keep invisible grills clean. For harder stains, a mild soap solution can be used.
Dealing with Corrosion
Although rare, if you notice any signs of corrosion, it’s best to address it immediately. Use a rust remover or consult a professional for advice.
Long-Term Maintenance
Periodically check the tension of the cables and the condition of the frames to ensure long-term durability and safety.
Cost Analysis
Initial Investment
The initial cost of invisible grills can be higher than traditional grills, but the investment is justified by the numerous benefits they offer.
Long-Term Savings
With lower maintenance costs and fewer replacements needed over time, invisible grills can save homeowners money in the long run.
Environmental Impact
Sustainable Materials
Many invisible grills are made from recyclable materials, making them an eco-friendly choice.
Energy Efficiency
Invisible grills can improve the energy efficiency of homes by allowing more natural light to enter, reducing the need for artificial lighting.
Common Myths About Invisible Grills
Myth: They Are Not Strong
Invisible grills are made from high-tensile materials designed to provide robust security, debunking the myth that they are weak.
Myth: They Are Expensive
While the initial cost might be higher, the long-term savings on maintenance and replacements make them a cost-effective choice.

So my idea if you accept it for a request is klaus x demigod daughter of Hecate reader and how it would be? Ps like the maybe the ready hate Elena and her friends and when they tried to kill klaus she beat them up and he’s totally taken by her?
I love everything about you.
Being the daughter of Hecate i was deeply respected by the supernatural community. I could pretty much take everyone out with the flick of my wrist so they liked to tread carefully.
These fucking mystic falls cockroaches however seemed to think they could do as they please when they please with no consequences. Elena the doppelgänger seemed to have some sort of invisible leash on everyone in that town, she had two vampire brothers tripping over each other for her, a blonde vampire who was at her beck and call and a Bennett witch who deemed herself ‘invincible’. Honestly, what in the underworld is going on here.
Let’s just say it was a breath of fresh air when the Mikaelsons came up, finally some people who weren’t ogling Elena. I knew who they were already of course, besides my mother was the one to grant Esther the power to create them. My mother’s most sacred animal is the dog, black dogs especially for some reason and so it only made me take a further interest when i witness Niklaus transform into a midnight black wolf. I followed him the whole two days he was a wolf, due to interest yes and also to make sure nothing happened to him, he could protect himself i know but still having a demigoddess watching over you is still an extra safety net.
He looked directly at me a few times but each attempt he made to near me was stopped when i would dissolve into a cloud of mist. His head would tilt and his ears would lay flaw against his head as he reluctantly walked away.
The next time i saw him was when he was in the smokey mountains, poor thing was trying to create more of himself, he just wasn’t seeing the correct picture to follow. I slowly approached him when he sat on a log, head in his hands and bodies piled around him as he waited for Stefan to arrive with a dead Ray. I sat next to him silently and gently rubbed his back, he tensed completely as her glanced up at me, confusion clear in his expression as he whispered a quiet “it’s you”
Not even a second later Stefan arrived and made myself vanish again. It was fun to watch how frustrated he became. I stuck around and went to Chicago but then i had to leave because Gloria started freaking out. She was all “you’ve brought a type of darkness with you” it was weird but like okay?
She couldn’t see me but she started chanting stuff and my mother told me to leave her be so i did.
Mystic falls was boring and Elena was a whiney about Stefan while also trying to fuck his brother, Caroline was always with Tyler and Bonnie was comforting Elena. Jeremy was alright, we spoke sometimes and he always served me at the grill, Matt does not like me one bit and i do not mind that at all.
Eventually Klaus came back and i wasn’t exactly expecting it. He had walked right into me or i walked into him but anyway i got mad cuz i spilt my drink on myself and thought it was gonna be like Damon or something so i started yelling
“can people in this town not look where they’re going for five fucking minutes!? honestly you would think a vampire would have a better sense of direction but noooo” i was wiping at my shirt aggressively until i realised the coffee wasn’t going to come out. I glared back up at the supernatural being to find those beautiful arctic blue eyes. His pretty pink lips were parted in an almost gaping way as he stared at me wide eyed. I felt my anger melt away as i studied the shock within his face.
“i’m… sorry…i wasn’t looking, i was upset about something… and was in a rush” he spoke slow and sounded uncertain
“oh, right well i shouldn’t have yelled. Come on, i need to put on a clean shirt and you can tell me about your problems” now yes i could have probably just made a new shirt appear on my but i didn’t fancy missing the opportunity to bring Niklaus along with me. He reluctantly began telling me that the little gang had brought Mikael to town, tried to kill him and then Stefan stole his family in coffins.
I invited him inside, much to his surprise, and started the kettle. I didn’t bother asking him to turn around when i changed my clothes and didn’t comment on his reddened cheeks as he swallowed thickly.
He stayed for dinner in the end and i managed to dodge any and all questions he tried to ask about who i was or how i knew who he was.
I drove him to the hotel he was staying at while his mansion was being built and even went as far to come inside and see how fancy it was. Let me just tell you it was nice. Real rich people shit.
I said goodnight but just as i was walking out the door his hand was around my wrist making me turn back to him
“yes?” i asked
“i don’t even know your name” he stated or asked?
“maybe next time Niklaus” i whispered before disappearing before him.
From that day i actually saw him quite a bit. Sometimes he even came round for food, he was at my door far more often than i had expected and never brought any threats with him, which was odd as in my experience when someone didn’t know what i was they were very demanding and liked to try and kill me.
I managed to help him get the majority of his family back, his brother Elijah was woken up and he then as a result woke the rest of his family. That night Niklaus stayed at my house…in my bed next to me. He had been sat on my doorstep when i got home with tear stains on his soft skin
“my siblings all hate me and my mother is alive” was all he whispered. I simply opened the door and lead him upstairs to my bed so he could lay down, I got ready for bed and got in with him, now i swear that we fell asleep on opposite sides but somehow we woke up with our legs tangled together, his forehead resting on my shoulder and my fingers in his hair.
He went home after breakfast however returning very soon after with a nervous smile and a box. He handed it to me quickly before vamp speeding away making me laugh at his actions.
The box held a gorgeous dress and an invitation to a ball… as his date.
I made sure to consult with my mother, she said that it was a great idea and he would be great for me, that was the last push i needed to know that i should be with him.
Once i arrived he was already in-front of me, pulling me through the crowd to introduce me to his brother Elijah and his sister Rebekah, he wasn’t sure where Kol and Finn were. They seemed thoroughly amused at his eagerness as they looked me over a few times
“you must be the girl he won’t stop blabbing about, at least he was telling the truth, you are remarkably beautiful, i think you’ll do just fine, come we can judge the other peoples outfits” Rebekah already tool my hand dragging me away from Nik and Elijah.
That night i was told many embarrassing stories of Niklaus, i was threatened by Rebekah not to harm him, Finn gave me some dodgey looked and Kol stared at me in utter astonishment. It was an interesting evening.
I got to dance with Niklaus though, he held me close and spoke quietly into my ear, the moment seemed so intimate. I felt safe and warm with him, his arms around my felt like they were protecting me despite my immortal status.
I ended up staying the night with him as well. There was moment where he seemed as though he was about to kiss me but he backed away and decided to show me art room instead. He was unbelievably talented and i made sure to express how impressed i was which he seemed to immensely appreciate and blushed ferociously at. I told him he was cute but apparently that offended him as he then chased me around the house until he tickled me near to death while i thrashed about on his bed. Eventually we fell asleep after many meaningless conversations that somehow brought us closer though i began to feel bad that i wasn’t sharing much about my past or what i was.
The next day i went home early as i needed to consult with my mother and the other gods/goddesses to see if they would allow me to tell him who i was. Once they agreed i went to the grill to find him. However before i could get to him i heard Damon, Stefan, Matt and Caroline all whispering in the alleyway outside
“Caroline you go in and try distract Klaus, he’s bound to go for you. Then Rick will dagger Klaus and we can grab Klaus”
i sat and waited for Niklaus to follow the blonde outside, i could sense his wariness as he suspiciously eyed the girl.
The second he brought his hand up to his chest as a sign of pain, Damon, Stefan and Caroline were all grabbing him trying to get him on the floor. I felt a rush of power as i flung them all in different directions, they sped back quickly trying to throw me at the alley wall. I got up unscratched and snapped Carolines neck with a snap of my fingers. Damon went straight to my neck and buried his teeth in, Klaus’s cry of agony had me ripping the vampire off me and creating a stake in my hand to impale him with before spinning round to find Stefan with a terrified look on his face and a semi conscious Klaus.
Suddenly Elijah was stood there with a grey looking Kol and was threatening them by sending Rebekah to murder Elena. I wasn’t paying much attention as i quickly checked for any damage to Niklaus. His eyes were wide and he seemed incredibly shocked but other than that he was fine. I pulled him up to stand on his feet before wrapping my arms around him and kissing his cheek
“i’m sorry, i shouldn’t have left you this morning, i shouldn’t have let them touch you” i muttered to him and he didn’t hesitate in hugging me back. I slowly pulled away and turned to his brothers, Elijah was clearly surprised as he glanced at the temporarily dead vampires and then back at me. Kol was practically buzzing where he stood
“I can not believe you are real! oh god can i have a hug to!?” I raised both my eyebrows and he threw himself at me and engulfed me into a hug, much to Klaus’s dismay as he growled and shoved his brother off
“what the bloody hell do you think you’re doing!?” he yelled as he pulled me behind him
“you don’t know who she is?? I mean seriously??” he whispered loudly
“She’s like a goddess” he muttered
“Demi-goddess but whatever” i added
“what?” both Elijah and Klaus questioned
“Hecate, you know like the actual goddess of like magic, witchcraft, the night, light, ghosts, necromancy… and the moon! She’s like real powerful, anyways that’s her daughter” he pointed to me with a wide grin and i let out a laugh at the astonishment everyone was expressing
“you know this is fun but maybe we should focus on the psychopathic mother of yours?”
“right… we can return to this at a later date” Elijah mumbled with a scratch if his head before dragging an excited Kol along with him
I turned back to Nik with a guilty expression
“i’m sorry i didn’t tell you… there are certain rules about telling beings from other realms our secrets and i needed to ask for permission. That’s actually why i left this morning, i asked and i was allowed to tell you…i understand if it’s a lot though, of course-“ I was cut off by the feeling of soft lips on mine, effectively shutting me up as i melted against him. Our lips moved together perfectly and it was as though something had shifted in the world, this was the person for me.
“believe me my love, this is just one more thing that i love about you” he whispered while breathing heavily
“i love everything about you” i replied quietly and he blushed once more as he smiled bashfully

The Floating World of Doma was a buffet for the senses, and sometimes you made yourself sick with the inundation of excess. "Floating World" was an apt name for the red light district, you felt intoxicated just by the atmosphere of desperation, danger, excitement and dreams.
Once upon a time, the crush of people, the noise and maelstrom of scents from the sweet and savory of the food and plum perfume of the pleasure houses would've made the Viera faint, but decades of travel and more had helped the former Wood-warder become inured to the assault on the senses. Plus, the smoke of his pipe helped ease his quite keen sense smell and piling his long sensitive ears under a straw hat had the added benefit of muffling the worst of the sounds while helping him not draw too much attention.
Loksen took a sip from the saucer of sake and shifted his position on the stool of the food stall he'd been eating, watching the parade of nightlife flow by in the street of the red light district. While the smoking of tobacco had a primarily practical effect of dulling the intense smell of the city, Loksen privately enjoyed the added benefit of it being a pleasant accompaniment to a good meal and drink.
As he took a drag on his pipe, through the smokey haze he spotted why he'd spent the past couple of bells perched on this spot (the grilled fish and yakitori and ramen were a nice bonus): a group of extravagantly dressed of Hyur and Roegadyn men with hard edges to their faces and posture that spoke of a disturbing comfort with violence parted the crowd as they walked down the street, an almost animal response to danger from citizens. It was time. Extinguishing the pipe and paying the vendor with a friendly grunt of thanks, Loksen gathered up his bow and sword and entered the flow of foot traffic. For a tall man, Loksen was quite adept at hiding his presence, a practice he would never lose as it was ground into his very bones at a young age. He made his through the crowd, never losing sight of the group he followed as they trudged past pleasure houses, music halls and various pubs.
Soon they arrived at their destination, one of the most renowned pleasure houses in all of Doma, a grand venue of merry-making surrounded by a tall wall where discretion was a cardinal virtue. In a practiced fashion, the group of rough men Loksen had been tailing spread out and created a protective perimeter at the entrance of the establishment.
A large sophisticated looking male Au Ra exited the building, followed by a beautiful elegant Hyur woman being trailed by a small young girl whose head was covered by a scarf, the madam and an attendant no doubt. To be a VIP in this place was to be quite important indeed and the company the Au Ra kept spoke of importance and danger in equal parts.
"Dojima Tendou, I have a writ of capture for by the authorities of Doma," announced Loksen with a strange melodic accent as he stepped passed the flabbergasted bodyguard caught unawares by his arrival into the open space in front of the entrance. His surroundings came into greater focus as his senses sharpened, no longer hampered by smoke. Loksen rested his hand lightly on the top of the scabbard, his fingers grazing an almost invisible trigger mechanism near where the guard met the scabbard, approaching with a laconic swagger. With a loud bang and a flash of steel, it began.

TF2 Fanfic - Someone Else's Song Chapter 2
A whole week of cracking away at N.G.'s mystery letter yields no leads, so Spy creeps out of his smoking room to put boots to pavement and do some more hands-on espionage. Meanwhile, Engie has some meaningful conversations about his chances.
Chapter 1 Chapter 3 Ao3 Link!
Really want a grilled cheese after writing this chapter tho. :/
---------
Spy awoke with a snort, lifting his head from the surface of his desk, a small piece of notepaper stuck to his chin by a patch of dried drool. He swatted it away and tugged the handkerchief from his pocket, using it to wipe his face. He checked his watch. Eight A.M. He sighed. He had fallen asleep sometime before late night had transitioned to early morning, it seemed. His eyes scanned the desk in front of him.
The surface was scattered with papers. Laying at its centre was original letter itself, which had been tested with every solution to reveal invisible ink that Spy could think of. Sitting around were several copies penned by Spy with different notes and marks calling out different letters, words, and turns of phrase, no definitive patterns to be found. Keys for every major cipher in common and uncommon use decorated the periphery. Several examples of the other mercenaries' handwriting were stacked up to be analyzed versus the two letters that N.G. had written, to try and eke out anything from the deeply opaque clue. Spy leaned back in his chair and stretched, having been hunched over for hours. With a weary groan, he took out and lit a cigarette. He puffed a long drag and looked dimly at his fruitless work.
It had been days of this, hammering away at a diamond with a chisel made of tin, no closer to an answer than when he'd picked the letter up in the first place. Staring bleary-eyed at his work wasn't about to spontaneously spawn epiphany. He needed to stretch his legs. And get a coffee. And a shower.
Engineer's work stool had been squeaking near-constantly for the past hour. He wasn't even aware of it, but it was doing it, and constantly. The heel of his boot rested hooked on the bar that circumnavigated the stool's legs, forming a footrest for the man perched atop it, and the toe of that boot was bouncing, making the stool squeal with each jerky movement. Engineer did not notice this. He was too engrossed in the project on his drafting table. Or more accurately, with what was churning away inside his brain while he pretended to be able to get any work done at said drafting table.
The slam of gloved hands on his workbench startled him out of his reverie, and he looked over to see Pyro glowering at him, an oxyacetylene torch clamped to the bench and lit, a small pile of cinders beside it. Engineer reeled back in spite of the good ten feet that separated them. "Somethin' wrong?"
"I'm trying to burn things over here, but bouncing your leg is making that chair sound like we've got upstairs neighbours that just learned what sex was! If you don't stop that racket I'm going to burn down this entire base, starting with myself."
A sheepish smile crossed Engineer's face, and he stilled his leg. "Sorry, Py. I'm just awful wound up."
"I couldn't tell," Pyro shot back, hands settling on his hips. "Spy, huh?"
"It's been a doggone week and he's been playin' it so close to the chest he may as well start coughin' up cards." He shook his head, setting his pencil down and pulling off his hardhat to scratch at his stubbly scalp.
Pyro took a moment to turn off the oxyacetylene torch and flopped onto a rolling stool, gliding over to his friend. "You think he's figured it out?"
"If he has, he ain't said a word about it." Engineer sighed, shaking his head. "Which feels about as good as just bein' shot down, if I'm honest. Maybe I should just be glad he was tactful enough to not just turn me down in front of everyone, or make fun of me for it."
"That's an awful thing to think about the guy you've got a crush on," Pyro chastised.
"It ain't a crush!" Engineer barked. "It's just...interest. Attraction."
"Attraction you expressed by writing him a love letter."
"It was your idea!"
"It's a crush."
"You make me sound like a damn teenager findin' out what love means for the first time."
Pyro tilted his head to the side. "Is that how Spy makes you feel?"
Engineer went silent, considering that for a moment. He sighed. "Fair enough."
A giggle bubbled its way out of Pyro's mask, and he gently clapped his hands in delight. "But here's the thing: Spy, for all of his class and charisma, is pretty forthright. He wouldn't just let things lie. If he wanted to reject you, he'd communicate it somehow , regardless of what level of cruelty he chose to use, right?"
"I s'pose."
"So that means somehow he still hasn't figured the damn thing out a whole week later. I think you covered your tracks too well somehow."
Engineer couldn't help but chuckle at that. "Spy's the kind o' fella who reads so far past the surface he drowns in the details. He'd cut a tree in half to count the rings without even realizin' he's in a damn forest. If I know him half as well as I hope I do, he's probably been burnin' the midnight oil when the answer's plain as day in front o' him."
"Is Spy really that dumb?"
"He ain't dumb at all," Engineer said warmly, a laugh threatening to edge into his voice, "he's too smart's the problem.
*
"I tell you this," Heavy said, setting down his bottle of oil and picking up a rag. "After you use mayonnaise, you will not use butter again. It is life-changer."
Sniper frowned, shaking his head. "I dunno, mate. Mayo for a grilled cheese?"
"I did not believe at first either. But it brown more even, make flavour more...," the giant searched for the right word, "rich? I think is how to say?"
"Yeh," Sniper confirmed with a nod, finishing laying out the pieces of his rifle on the worktable of the armory. "Right, next time you're fixin' one, throw one on for me. I'll try it. If I like it, I'll teach you my special grilled cheese recipe."
"Special grilled cheese?" Heavy asked, lifting an eyebrow.
"The secret is ham, apples, and a runny fried egg," Sniper said with a conspiratorial grin. "But you gotta poach the apples in cinnamon and sugar first, so it's almost like applesauce or pie fillin' without the corn starch."
"Is sandvich really still grilled cheese at this point?"
"Dunno, but what I can tell you is that it's delicious."
"Will keep this in mind," Heavy agreed with a nod. If making Sniper a normal sandwich got Sniper to make him a fancy sandwich, he wasn't about to turn it down. Especially if ham was involved.
Spy suppressed a sigh. He stood, cloaked, leaning against the door to the armory as his teammates chatted sporadically as they maintenanced their guns. Everyone made time to clean and work on their weapons at some point every few days, though Heavy was a fixture, pampering his darling Sascha as a daily ritual and making him easy to find for anyone seeking him out. It was one of the rare times one could catch the giant for a casual conversation.
Apparently this time, Sniper had seen fit to use his time with Heavy to talk about food. It was one of the universal languages, Spy supposed.
It didn't help him at all in his effort to eavesdrop on the team for clues, though. At least, not until...
Sniper looked back over his shoulder, and Spy froze, invisible and silent and far enough away that any lingering scent of smoke on him wouldn't be detected. "So, you think Spy's cracked the code yet?"
Heavy chuckled. "Don't know. There are many common ciphers used. He has lot of work to do to eliminate them all."
"Probably spent the whole week neck-deep in cryptography for nothin'."
Heavy shook his head. "It is funny. Spy is too smart to be so stupid sometimes."
Spy frowned at the insult, trying not to let it bother him too much. Heavy didn't know enough English to speak delicately.
"Look how his kid turned out. Apple don't fall too far from the tree."
"You are mean to Scout. Thought you are Scout's friend."
Sniper shrugged with a laugh. "Mate, if anyone's qualified to rib the little gremlin it's 'is mates. I'd expect no less from 'im in turn."
Heavy shook his head, realizing that perhaps he'd spent so long only socializing with his family that the urge to banter had grown rusty. Certainly, he remembered teasing his friends in college mercilessly, and laughing when they did the same in kind. "This is fair."
"Either way, I hope all of this gets figured out soon, else N.G.'s gonna 'ave a heart attack from waitin' on tenterhooks." Sniper took up the barrel of his rifle in one hand. "Pass that brush?"
Heavy handed his teammate a brush with a nod and a grunt, and silence fell as they worked.
Spy lingered a little longer, but soon slunk away with a silent sigh. It seemed like Heavy and Sniper had an idea of who this mysterious N.G. was, that it was neither of them, and from the way they spoke, it was an obvious thing to them. He didn't know whether he should be insulted or not, stymied in the search as he was. The way they talked, it was clear that he was looking too hard , which only frustrated him more. Had he wasted all of his time on a line of thought that lead nowhere?
Fine.
If cryptography would get him nowhere, he would do things the old-fashioned way: pure surveillance. Already, skulking him in the shadows had gotten him that much, a half-step closer and Sniper crossed off the list, so perhaps it was time for a bit of the human touch.
*
Coffee. Medic needed coffee. Those chupacrabra kidneys weren't going to be used to filter irradiated echidna blood on their own, and Medic just knew his hands weren't going to be steady enough for the suture work he'd need to do after an all-nighter unless he had at least a little more caffiene to keep him going. Once he had the data he needed he could finally crash out and sleep. Just a little longer.
With a yawn, he pushed open the door to mess, a little surprised to find Spy there, leaning against the counter on which the communal industrial-sized coffee maker sat, an overlarge mug in his hand. He looked almost as tired as Medic felt, and judging by the dark circles under his eyes, he, too, had been neglecting sleep in the pursuit of knowledge. Medic smiled fondly and waved as he approached.
"Spy! It is nice to see you outside of the battlefield for the first time this week," he teased, snagging a mug and dumping an unconscionable amount of sugar into it before filling it with coffee. "You've spent so much of your liberty time working in your office, I was worried you'd turned into me!" He tittered, then added milk enough that the beverage began to match his skin tone, and snatched a spoon to stir it with.
Spy tried and failed to not make a face as he watched Medic mangle his coffee. "It is a smoking room, but you're not incorrect. I have been working, though the way I currently feel, I can no longer say it is tirelessly."
Medic grinned at that, a soft, "hoo," of a laugh puffing out of him. "So how does the search for your secret admirer go?"
"Secret admirer; you make it sound like we're children."
"You received a love note from someone with a crush on you."
Spy pouted in reply.
Medic tittered. "It's sweet, really. Romance is childish, isn't it? At it's root?"
"Your idea of romance is very different from mine, then."
"Think about it: Naked emotion making your heart race, your palms sweat, your brain positively swim with oxytocin, manifesting as giddy delight? Your body's reaction is as brazen and free of guile as children speaking plainly, 'I like you,' wouldn't you say?"
Spy eyed Medic for a long moment, waiting for some unhinged or dismissive follow-up. When none came, he shrugged a shoulder. "Fair enough, I suppose." He sipped his coffee, sneaking a sidelong glance at his companion, a bit disarmed by the fanciful soft side he had revealed.
Was he wrong in discounting Medic so swiftly? What if it was him? Would it be so bad, to be loved by a man who could heal your every wound, every ailment, make you stronger, faster, better, more healthy and hale than nature could ever offer of its own accord?
In sickness and in health indeed.
But Medic was married to science. It was his husband, his work his wife. His greatest passion could never be devoted to a mere man, no matter how extraordinary. A lover would have to be satisfied always being the runner-up in Medic's heart and life.
Spy couldn't imagine being satisfied with that. Even he had tried to put his work aside once, his love of a woman far stronger than the love of his life's calling. Sadly, that calling was not about to be so quickly turned aside.
But he couldn't blame Medic, either. Brilliance often brought with it a certain single-mindedness. Medic and his experiments. Heavy and his guns. Only Engineer seemed able to pull himself away from his hyperfocus, powerful and self-destructive as it was, still taking time for playing guitar and cookouts and nights sitting under the stars, enjoying the quiet beauty of nature when he thought the rest of the team had gone to bed and he'd been left alone to his own devices, unaware that Spy would often rest against the wall beside the door to the porch, cloaked and sharing in the moment of peace. Each man contained multitudes, but only Engineer could pull himself away from his work with enough regularity to place that fact on display. And rustic though he may be, Spy couldn't deny that there was a bucolic charm to his non-work interests.
Spy looked back to Medic, who was smiling at him over the rim of his mug. He realized that he'd been caught spacing out for a moment as his brain churned away. Medic tittered as their eyes met.
"I almost forgot: there is also the telltale rush of blood to the capillaries of the face, causing erubescene," he teased, "or blushing , as you might know it." He gestured gently to Spy, who realized to his own dismay that his cheeks had grown hot as his mind had drifted.
Spy cleared his throat, straightening his posture like it would hide the pink peeking above his mask from the taller man. "Yes, well, thank you, Docteur. But I should be getting back to it. Mysteries do not solve themselves."
Medic took another sip to contain his giggles. "Of course! Good luck, Spy, and I hope the real thing turns out as lovely as your fantasies!"
Spy grumbled out a vague thanks as he set down his empty mug and slunk out of the room in a small huff.
N.G. definitely wasn't Medic. He got far more enjoyment out of needling him, both literally and metaphorically, than any romance would offer.
*
Scout sat back from his drawing, pen tapping against his lip as he regarded the shape of the car he was sketching out. Something wasn't right, but he couldn't place what. Then again, he also wasn't used to drawing at a forty-five degree angle. "Draftin' tables are weird," he said, looking past said drafting table to where Engineer was seated on a rolling shop stool, hunched behind a dispenser, its wires spilling out as he went at something inside with a pair of pliers.
"Takes some gettin' used to, I'll admit," Engineer replied absently.
"Yeah."
Silence fell for a long moment as Scout scratched down a few more lines onto his notebook. "So, you bend Spy over the workbench yet?"
Engineer dropped his pliers, sputtering in surprise, his face going red in an instant. "What the hell is wrong with you askin' somethin' like that?"
"Seriously? No? Don't tell me 'e still ain't figured it out! Shit, man, you might as well just tell 'im at this point, if 'e's too dumb to pick up on it after a whole-ass week."
"He ain't dumb."
"Yeah okay," Scout snorted.
"It also ain't your business."
"Why not? Man, if two 'a my coworkers're gonna be all kissyface an' shit all the time an' bangin' in the off hours in the base where we all live which ain't got soundproofin' , that's gonna turn into my business at some point. What if Spy's a screamer? Especially with what you're packin'!"
"...what I'm packin?" "We all shower together; ain't nobody not noticed you swing pipe, Engie."
"You little pecker checker."
"I was scopin' out the competition."
"Competition for what?"
"I dunno; not Spy though, I'll tell you that. He's your problem. Least, he will be once you just go nut up an' tell 'im."
Engineer set down his pliers and stared hard at Scout. "Like how you told Miss Paulin'?"
Scout stammered a bit before crossing his arms across his chest. "This ain't about me."
"First time you've ever said that about anythin'," Engineer shot with a smirk.
"Look, I don't get why you're into 'im, but you are. A guy don't write another guy a freakin' love letter if 'e ain't down bad for 'im."
"The letter was Pyro's idea. Said 'e was sick of watchin' me pinin' away in silence. And now I'm in this mess."
Scout smiled a little at that. It explained a lot. A love letter didn't really seem Engineer's style, which probably wasn't helping Spy solve things. "What, were you just never gonna say nothin'?"
"Spy's a refined fella. He wouldn't go for a country boy like me if I just up and said somethin' to 'im."
"You kiddin' me? You've got more PhDs than there are guys on base! You can play guitar! Chicks dig smart artsy guys."
"Scout, Spy's a man."
"Do guys who like guys dig smart, artsy guys?" Scout asked, rolling his hand like he was waiting for Engineer to catch up with him.
Engineer stared for a long moment, unable to argue. "S'pose so."
"See? Look just 'cause you're all yee-haw an' axle grease don't mean that ain't what 'e's into, Eng. Like yeah, I bet he'd totally wanna bang a dude just like 'imself, but maybe that ain't all, yeah? Maybe he likes a guy who's stronger an' more manly than 'im, yanno? Hold 'im in 'is big arms, make 'im feel safe..."
Engineer lifted an eyebrow.
"I mean girls like that, so maybe guys who like guys do?" Scout recovered, gesturing broadly with his arms.
"Maybe they do," Engineer huffed out with a laugh. Scout was right. It was entirely possible that Spy would be interested in what he had to offer. He was aloof, but that didn't mean he didn't find anything attractive in any of them The man maintained a standoffish facade with the whole team, buts it was his own brand of professionalism, likely to make up for what an immature little shit he could be on the field when he thought nobody was looking.
Engineer was looking, and what he saw made him laugh. It was endearing, really, to see the cool, aloof cat of a man doing voices and chucking insults the same as the rest of them. He wasn't really above it all, in spite of how he tried to play.
"Look, I ain't got a dog in the race, Eng. So I can tell ya square: anyone with eyes can see you're a catch, man. You're built, you're handy, you play guitar an' sing an' know how to cook. Plus, you're rich. Like crazy rich. Like not just built yourself up rich but Daddy's Money rich on top 'a that. Fuck around money rich. If you were into girls they'd be tearin' each other's hair out tryin' to get to you! An' I bet Spy sees that too. Guy sees everythin', yanno?"
Engineer chuckled at that. Scout wasn't exactly great at navigating it, but the spirit was there, and he appreciated being hyped up a bit. "Thank ya kindly," he said demurely, laying a hand over his heart. "But him seein' everythin's why I ain't piped up yet. I want 'im to figure it out, act on 'is own initiative. Ain't the same if I confront 'im with it, feels like. Plus, the man loves his ego stroked. Bein' able to solve the puzzle'll go toward that, I reckon."
"I don't get it. Figured with guys you could just circumvent all that pussy-footin' around shit. 'Hey, gorgeous. We both got dicks; wanna do it?'"
"And that's why you ain't had a date of any gender long as I known you."
"Man, I ain't had a date 'cause we're stuck livin' in a base in the middle 'a fuckall nowhere!" Scout barked, indignant. His expression turned to a pout as the only reply he received was Engineer's signature wheezy chuckle.
*
"We're bloody terrible at this game," Demoman huffed, watching his horseshoe land a full foot away from the stake.
"You have no depth perception, of course you're terrible!" Soldier barked, lining up his shot. He let his horseshoe fly, only for it to overshoot the stake by at least two feet. "Too much mustard on that one."
"And ye can barely see out from under the brim o' that helmet," Demoman huffed. "I'll have ye ken me aim's close enough. Can hit a runnin' Scout with a pipe at twenty paces nae danger!"
"I thought close enough was supposed to work for horseshoes and hand grenades! You're one for two, maggot!" "Shut it!" Demoman's lip curled up into a snarl as he lined up his next shot. He swung his arm and released the horseshoe, which fell limply to the dirt just barely inside of the pit, two and a half feet from the stake. "Crud!"
Soldier hacked out a laugh, doubling over to brace himself on his thighs to keep standing.
Demoman stood there pouting at him, arms crossed over his chest. 'I'm too sober's the problem. Nae had a drink in almost an hour. The double vision's the trick, ye ken."
Spy watched from the porch, posted against one of the supports holding up its bockety, sun-rotted roof. He was getting fidgety from spending a while without cigarettes, trying not to get made by scent, but he kept his shaking hands hidden in the pockets of his trousers. The last thing he wanted was to jitter so much that the motion of his cloak could be seen.
As expected, there wasn't much to eavesdrop on with Demoman and Soldier, the two of them spending most of their words to roast one another with the sort of viciousness only close friendship could elicit. It did warm Spy's heart a bit, in spite of it all. At least that whole business with the BLU Soldier hadn't dulled this friendship or made things awkward. Though he suspected neither man had the emotional intelligence to realize why it could get weird. Ignorance may truly be bliss after all.
Either way, while it was certainly entertaining to watch, it wasn't really getting him anywhere. He suspected as much, but due diligence made it just seem right to see if two of the most loose-lipped men on the team would let anything slip. Given Demoman's known interest in men, it could make him more prone to gossiping about the base's newest potential homosexual romance.
Assuming Spy was right and he hadn't written the letter himself.
With a sigh, Spy pushed off of the support, deciding to cut his losses and go try to see if he could talk Pyro in enough circles to spill something. The arsonist clearly knew something, or at least liked the drama enough to be working on figuring it out as well. Either way, it was likely to be more fruitful than watching the most tragic lawn game he'd ever witnessed.
A creak sounded from the old, dry-rotted wood. Then the roof groaned . Spy's head snapped back to look up a moment before a rotten chunk of the structure fell. He leapt, rolling across the concrete paddock of the porch, and narrowly missed the rain of wood and shingles as the whole corner of the roof gave way and collapsed with a clatter and crunch. His cloak sputtered and dropped, leaving him on one hand and his knees, staring wide-eyed at the wreckage.
"Oi! Spy! Ye alright?" Demoman called, jogging over.
"Y-yes, thank you," Spy replied, climbing to his feet and dusting off his trousers.
"Knew that thing's days were numbered, but I didnae realize just how close tae the end it was," the bomber mused, looking over the damage.
"Why didn't Engie fix it?" Soldier asked, ambling over, utterly calm.
"'Cause he fixes everythin' else on this bloody base, and he cannae be everywhere all the time," Demoman reasoned, a bit shamefully.
"He's reliable and capable, but even he is but one man," Spy mused, taking out a cigarette and lighting it with relief. If his hands weren't already shaking, they definitely would be now.
"We need two of him," Soldier concluded, slapping his fist down into his open palm.
"How're ye gonnae do that?" Demoman replied with a smirk, egging Soldier on.
"He could make a clone of himself! I bet he could reprogram Respawn to do it!" Soldier grinned broadly, proud of his idea.
"Aye, that's definitely how that works." Demoman rested his hands on his hips and had a chuckle. "So Spy, ye out here eavesdroppin', or was that," he gestured to the wreckage that was the corner of the porch, "just a wee coincidence."
Spy sighed. Demoman was too canny for his own good sometimes. "If you're accusing me of dropping eaves, I assure you, that ," he, too, gestured to the destroyed porch roof, "was not my intention."
Demoman whooped out a laugh at that. "Ye should banter more, Spy. Ye got the touch!"
A soft, self-satisfied chuckle left Spy, and he took another long drag. "I've spent the majority of my liberty this week slaving away at that love letter. Some fresh air would do me good. At least, I thought so, until the porch tried to crush me."
"Ach, what's a bit o' mortal danger? It's good for the blood," Demoman dismissed with a laugh. He hopped up on the edge of the porch next to where Spy stood and patted the concrete paddock, inviting him to sit. Soldier climbed up on his other side, kicking his legs in the air.
With a moment's consideration, Spy shrugged and settled in beside Demoman, half-facing him with one leg up on the porch, the other hanging. "I assume you'd like to chat."
"Aye, aye. Surprised you're of a mind."
"Like I said, I've spent the entire week with no human interaction outside of combat, slamming my head against a puzzle." Spy took a drag and exhaled, looking off to the side. "Don't get used to this."
That made Demoman snort. Spy was ridiculous, preening like a cat and pretending to be above it all. It would be infuriating if it weren't so transparent. "Sure, aye, nae danger."
"So, have you figured out who it is, yet?" Soldier asked.
Spy sighed, thinking it obvious. If he had, why would he be here, sneaking around and almost dying to faulty construction? "No, I have not."
Soldier replied with a soft, "Hm."
"Dinnae let it get ye down," Demoman offered, clapping Spy on the shoulder then swiftly removing his hand after clocking the look of utter disdain that it elicited. "Honestly? A whole week o' radio silence after a note with barely a hint? It's strange, it is."
"Perhaps, but when presented with a mystery like this, what am I to do?"
"I ken ye've nae conclusion, but any theories?"
Spy took a long drag. "A few. Some more attractive than others."
Demoman chuckled at that. Fair enough. "Which ones're more attractive?"
"Fishing for compliments?" Spy teased with a smirk.
"If I'm still in competition I'd be more concerned about yer qualifications for wearin' that balaclava, mate. Ye ken me style, and sneakin' love notes isnae it."
"Didn't you and the BLU Soldier get together at a gun show?" Soldier asked.
"It's where we met and struck up a friendship," Demoman explained. "Wasn't 'til after we hit the bars, got good 'n liquored up, fought the cops, and laid low at a motel outside town that I kissed him. Was ready tae write it off as adrenaline until he kissed me back, and started slidin' his hand down me trews." He sighed fondly, as painful as the nostalgia was.
"Wait, you fucked on the first date?" Soldier asked.
"Did we have time tae consider there'd be another one?" Demoman reasoned. "I'm nae some blushin' flower, mate. I've got a braw lad askin' me tae blow his back out, I aim tae do it."
"You can't aim for shit," Soldier snorted, then fell into laughs as Demoman pushed him off the porch.
"Yes, well, I suppose the speed at which you move isn't quite compatible with writing notes," Spy said, rolling his eyes and trying to expel the mental image of Demoman fucking the BLU Soldier from his mind, even if it did answer the idle curiousity he had as to which of the bombastic, competitive men had been the bottom.
"Aye, aye, but still's tae the point: any o' those theoretical authors actually have a chance, mate? I imagine yer nae gonnae throw yerself at a lad just 'cause he's wrote ye a love note. So what's the best case scenario? Who'd actually have a shot? Who d'ye hope it is?"
Spy sat with that question for a long moment, taking a thoughtful drag of his cigarette. The pause was so pregnant Demoman fancied its water was about to break.
He hadn't really considered that. Not in earnest. Sure, he thought about the pros and cons of who it might be, whether it was preferable. But what would he really do once he discovered the answer? And what if it was an answer he didn't like? What if it was an answer he did? What was an answer he did? Who was he kidding? He hadn't gathered the thoughts in a cohesive manner, but in his gut, he already knew who he wanted it to be. His own wandering mind had taught him as much.
"Engineer," Spy sighed, looking away so as not to meet Demoman's eye. Out of the corner of his own vision, he caught a smile crossing the bomber's lips anyway.
"Good, you can get him to fix the porch," Soldier announced.
"Engie, aye?" Demoman said appraisingly, giving a little nod. "Ye've good taste, lad. Broad, braw bloke like that? Muscles for days and a bit soft? That voice? "
"Do I have competition?" Spy teased with a soft laugh, grateful that he hadn't been teased immediately for a rare moment of candidness.
"Ach, nae. I'd nae dare stand in yer way."
"In my way?" Spy asked, eyebrow lifted.
"Look, lad. It's clear ye want him tae be the answer. Which means yer sweet on him. Which means nae matter who this secret admirer o' yours is, what does matter is ye've yer eye on someone already. The matter's been breached, in so many words. Why nae just make a move?"
"And if he's not the author?"
"Then yer nae interested in the author anyway," Demoman reasoned. "Right?"
Spy nodded slowly, admitting it to himself. Any other candidate just didn't capture him the same way, didn't set his heart to racing and his mind to distraction like thoughts of the short Texan with his warm voice and strong hands and eleven hard-science PhDs. "Which leaves the question of whether Engineer would be interested," Spy pointed out, gesturing vaguely with his cigarette.
"You will not know the answer to that if you do not ask," Soldier said plainly. "If he did write it, then he is interested. If he did not, you can not know if he is interested unless you ask."
"Hate tae say it, but the lad's right," Demoman agreed, jerking a thumb at Soldier. "And say he's nae the author, and someone else's feelings get hurt: lad wrote ye a note so opaque even you o' all people couldn't crack it, and never followed up, dropped any other breadcrumbs, just sat back and let it lie. Can he really blame ye for followin' yer heart?"
"He snoozed, he lost!"
"Aye, exactly!"
Spy chewed on that thought for a moment and took another long drag to finish his cigarette, stubbing it out on the concrete porch as he exhaled. "Fair enough, I suppose."
"I ken the direct approach isnae yer wheelhouse, but sometimes, the only way out is through!"
"Yeah, go get 'im, Frenchie!"
Spy snorted out a soft laugh and shook his head. This was where he was getting his romantic advice? Still, he supposed, they weren't wrong.

The Tres Maria's
a travelogue
Good days come in a very unexpected turn out of events. It is these times where we are most alive, refreshed, and have replenished our souls above all great things. A little escapade that made these lives of us more memorable and enjoyable that we might even think that “Life is either a daring adventure or nothing at all”.
In times of chaos like when the pandemic struck the world, it is definitely unpredictable for us to have our little fun times with our loved ones that will cheer us up to be boosted and set ourselves with hope again. Unanticipated that we will be reunited with our long time friends, families, and of course, our deep memories.
Well, that seemed really unimaginable because that time of pandemic, was also when the three birds with different feathers and peaks finally had the courage to be united as one and forget the longing of their tears and the broken glasses of their past.
If you’re curious and asking who are the three birds of distinct feathers and peaks, it was me and my two longing friends slash sisters. It was our story of soaring high, reconnecting, and building our relationship once again. Our story that started with a long and sound travel to be able to catch up like we’ve totally lost forever.
Way back when we were in our 15’s, the three Maria’s namely, Shaine, Ber, and Tiya had a fight. Fight that turned our relationship upside down and broke it with our own hands. Frankly, we were young, naive, and fearless to cut off people that we hadn't realized were significant people in our lives. We didn’t talk for a long time which cost us great bonds as tres Maria’s and nearly, our invisible ties.
But then, that changed as we grew up like a seedling and had growth at different soils and different environments that we found on our own. We wander around the world as free as a bird; only to find out that our bond is far more essential than anything in this world. Truth to a quote that said, “Sister is not simply a sibling, but a lifelong companion who understands and supports you unconditionally.”
On Ber's 20th birthday, she invited us, with the hope that we’d consider it to be able to rebuild the broken glasses that resonate our friendship. In accordance with her invitation, she will be celebrating her 20th at Alaminos City, Pangasinan. The home of the hundred islands. Back in our town, we were so far away from Alaminos that it feels like decades if we’re going to push through. But then again, for the recollection of the memories and friendship, we did it for us. We decided to travel from our secluded town to a city like Alaminos to celebrate her exceptional day with her and to once again commemorate our relationship as sisters by heart.
We packed our bags together, ready to stand against the long driveway. Driveway that will take us near each and everyone’s heart once again. We rode a van that will take us there. We ate junk foods along the joyride until our stomach hurts. We laughed like crazies when we remembered the things we did back then as children. We had a lengthy and deep conversation about life that sure opened my mind more about us. We teased each other about our cringe love life and crushes until someone will get shy and just drop the conversation for it to stop. We were us that time. The tres Maria’s.
Upon arriving at Alaminos City, we immediately checked our rooms, the surroundings, and the sea that will be the total highlight of her birthday party. It feels so refreshing to see the sparkling sea as the sunset reflects its rays and colors to the surface of the sea. It feels like my soul is being taken out of me. With my two friends by my side and our families, nothing sure could ever be perfect than reminiscing this. Most especially that we are celebrating our friends' life for another year ahead.
Moreover, the food at Alaminos was awesome and it got the boom in it. I could eat a mountain of that seafood. The grill at night by the seaside made me wonder why I haven’t tried going to the sea for decades in my life. The bonfire ended the perfect night of tres Marias, with a smile that they haven’t worn for themselves in such a long time.
I realized that I was lacking that kind of calmness in my heart and mind, and they were the people who imparted that to me again. Because of this unexpected travel, the three of us are back in our game called friendship with nothing but pulling ourselves to the highs of life. We are able to enjoy even just a mere day. They had always been and will always be the tres maria's that taught me a lesson in life. That great bond isn't interconnected by blood but through hearts. My sisters by heart, my friends for lifetime, my Maria’s.

How Pigeon Netting Can Protect Your Property from Damage
If you come across an advertisement for "pigeon net near me," you might find yourself curious about the reasons behind the need for such a service. In this article, we will discuss how pigeon nettings can effectively prevent unwanted birds from causing any damage to your property.
Even though pigeons look calm, they can do a lot of damage to your home. Their droppings are acidic and can eventually eat away at metal and concrete. Their building materials can also block drains, which can cause water damage.
These beautiful birds are sweet little creatures yet can harm you and your property. So what can you do? The best solution is to get bird net services. Let me help you to dive into the details.
Role of Pigeon Netting

Invisible Grill for Balcony in Bangalore: The Ultimate Safety and Aesthetic Solution
In today's urban living, balconies serve as a serene retreat, a place where we can enjoy fresh air and a moment of peace. However, they can also pose safety concerns, especially in high-rise apartments. This is where the concept of an invisible grill for balcony in Bangalore comes into play. The Prestige Safety Nets brand has introduced a revolutionary solution that not only enhances safety but also preserves the aesthetic appeal of your balcony.
What is an Invisible Grill?
An invisible grill is a modern and innovative safety solution designed for balconies, windows, and open spaces. Unlike traditional grills made of bulky metal, these grills are constructed from high-tensile marine-grade stainless steel cables that are thin yet extremely strong. The result is a protective barrier that is almost invisible to the naked eye, allowing you to enjoy unobstructed views while ensuring safety.
Why Choose Invisible Grill for Your Balcony?
Safety First: The primary function of an invisible balcony safety net is to prevent accidents, particularly in homes with children and pets. The sturdy construction ensures that even if someone leans against the grill, it will hold firm, preventing falls and other accidents.
Aesthetic Appeal: Unlike traditional metal grills that can make a balcony look like a cage, an invisible grill offers a sleek and modern appearance. It blends seamlessly with your balcony, providing safety without compromising the design.
Durability: Made from high-quality stainless steel, these grills are resistant to rust and corrosion, even in Bangalore's varied climate. This ensures long-lasting protection for your balcony.
Unobstructed View: One of the main reasons homeowners opt for an invisible grill is to maintain an unobstructed view from their balconies. Whether you're enjoying the sunrise or watching the city lights, the invisible balcony net ensures your view is never compromised.
Customizable Options: At Prestige Safety Nets, we understand that every balcony is different. That's why we offer customizable invisible grills in Bangalore to fit your specific needs. Whether you have a small balcony or a large terrace, we can design a grill that fits perfectly.

can you do a fic where reader unintentionally breaks one of the rules by accident so she has to be punished but the punishment is being ignored by BOTH wanda AND nat and reader is uncomfortable with being ignored because it makes her feel invisible and like she's a ghost so like this is what happens, reader breaks a rule in front of wanda and nat but reader doesn't realize she broke a rule but wanda and nat punish reader without telling reader first, and they punish her by not acknowledging her presence and stuff then reader just breaks and starts crying and stuff, she's really upset until nat and wanda cave in and see what's wrong with reader because they didnt know that reader didnt realize she broke a rule and her punishment was being ignored by them
also nat is dom, wanda is switch (like wanda is sub to nat but dom to reader) and reader is sub also nat, wanda and reader are in a poly dom/sub relationship and dating
Oh my god is this ✨smut with a developed storyline✨?

You giggled as Sam made stupid sound effects every time he paused in telling his story. You were pretty sure the story wasn’t true but hearing him tell it was entertaining enough. He put his hand on your forearm as he laughed at his own comeback to some apparently ‘very real’ character in the story and you couldn’t help but laugh along with him. That was until your other arm was grabbed and pulled you to your feet.
“It’s late, we should go.” Natasha said curtly. You nodded and said goodbye to Sam with a tight hug and followed after the Russian as Wanda joined her at her side.
“How did your meeting go?” You teased the redheads. Officially, what you had just attended was a party. Unofficially, it was a chance for Natasha and Wanda to gather more intel for a future mission that they had been working on for months. Tony, to no one’s surprise, was more than happy to help by hosting the party and it was just like any other to everyone else. You had missed your girlfriend’s company at first, but had eventually started socializing with the others and the night had flown by.
When you were met with silence you assumed you didn’t hear either of their responses over the music so you sped up your steps slightly to stick close by. Once you got to the car you knew they were in a bad mood. It was one thing when one of them was mad but both of them was a whole other storm. Not that it was always bad. Sometimes they would take that anger out on you in the bedroom and you had secretly been dying to be fucked like that for a while.
You tried to make conversation a few times, telling the pair about Sam’s story and how it was probably about as real as fairies but they still didn’t respond. Of course, you had no idea that these things were just making them madder and that Wanda and Natasha were communicating silently most of the time, discussing the meeting as they ignored you. You gave up eventually and gazed out the window as you fiddled with the fabric of your dress.
Once you were home things only seemed to get worse. “I made dinner before we left.” You said as you looked under the grill to find that the three served plates were still fine and put them on the counter. You had cooked before getting ready because you knew your girlfriends were busy and were going to be hungry when they got home. You glanced at the two women to see Natasha undoing her girlfriend’s zipper and placing a soft kiss between her shoulder blades. You smiled at the tender site.
“Hey, where’s my kiss?” You teased as Natasha started towards the bedroom but shouldered right past you. You looked to Wanda but she didn’t spare you a glance either as she strolled through the apartment to your shared bedroom. You watched them go with a dry mouth and dragged yourself to the bathroom where you struggled to undo the zipper of your dress before finally succeeding after five minutes of struggling and sore arms. One of the redheads usually did it for you before you could even think to ask.
You stepped into the shower and tried to focus on the feeling of the hot water running down your body, hoping it would distract you from the dull ache near your heart. It didn’t work. You wondered if you had done anything to annoy them at the party but could think of nothing. With a disgruntled sigh, you turned off the water and stepped out of the safety of the shower. You quickly dried off and tiptoed to your now-empty bedroom to change into your pajamas.
When you went back into the kitchen you found only one of the plates was left. You glanced over at the living area to see Wanda and Natasha curled up together on the couch under a blanket as they watched TV and ate the food you made. They could have at least warmed mine up. You grumbled to yourself as you put it in the microwave and made yourself a drink. You trudged over to the couch but Wanda extended her legs to cover the free space just as you were about to sit down. You looked up at them both but their eyes were still glued to the TV.
You sat down tentatively on the armchair closest to the couch and started taking small bites of your food. You weren’t paying attention to the screen at all. Instead, your eyes kept flickering to the two redheads curled up on the couch together. They looked so warm and tender laying together. You wished so desperately you could be with them, but instead you just felt like an outsider. That had always been a big insecurity for you. Wanda and Natasha were both Avengers and you were just a normal citizen. You often wondered if you ever felt like a burden, the weak part of their relationship. You could never understand their lives the way they could, you could only watch. Usually, you would voice your concerns and insecurities to them and they would assure you to no end that they loved you more than anything. However speaking had gotten you nowhere that night, so you kept it to yourself.
You sat in the living room for hours. You wanted to go to bed so badly. You were utterly exhausted and your eyes were starting to hurt from the lights in the room you wanted to be shielded from. But you were determined not to go until the other two did. You wanted to be curled up between them both like you always were. You wanted to feel safe and secure and most of all loved.
Finally, Natasha turned off the television and stretched out like a cat on the couch before standing and making her way to the bedroom, leading Wanda by the hand. You put your uneaten plate of food on the side to deal with the next day, too tired to even think about it at that moment. The pair instantly dropped down into bed and Natasha held Wanda tightly as she rested her head on the Russian’s chest. You gazed down at them longingly but forced yourself into bed besides them. You reached out your hand to tug weakly on their shirts, desperate for any kind of acknowledgement but received none. You withdrew your hand and held it up to your chest as you watched the pair. How long had they been craving time to themselves?
You slowly got out from under the covers and left the room without feeling their usual fond gazes on your back. You lingered in the hallway before glancing back and saw Natasha tracing circles on Wanda’s back. You gulped back tears and made your way to the spare bedroom where you slept alone for the first time in months.
*
You didn’t get up until lunch the next day. You didn’t feel like doing anything, especially not facing your girlfriend. You wanted to stay out of their way to give them the alone time they so clearly needed.
When you had finally dragged yourself out of bed and into the hallway you froze. Wanda’s moans could be heard clearly from your bedroom followed by sharp cries of Natasha’s name. You stood rooted to the spot as the pain in your chest grew worse. Since they had so keenly invited you into their relationship. The pair had never once done anything sexual without you. At first you had been flattered and insisted that you were okay if they wanted to do things by themselves every once in a while but eventually you had grown used to how things were. You had grown used to being included in everything.
Numbly, you made yourself a hot chocolate in hopes of it raising your spirits. Not long after you had finished, your girlfriends came wandering into the kitchen with a new glow.
“Do you want a drink?” You piped up, you could at least be helpful. Wanda grabbed something from the fridge as Natasha took out a glass from the cupboard and spun around to kiss her girlfriend on the lips with a soft giggle. Wanda smiled against her and hummed when Natasha’s tongue teased the Sokovian’s lower lip.
“I love you.” Natasha hummed and Wanda smiled with a blush as she said the words back.
“I- I love you too.” You added and took a desperate step towards them both, holding out your hands to them but they separated and started to stroll back into the living room. You watched on as tears sprung to your eyes. They didn’t say it back. They always said it back. “Please.” You whispered though you may have well have been talking to a wall. You whimpered quietly and weakly made your way to the guest room where you closed the door and fell down onto the bed, not being able to stop the tears streaming down your face. You curled up on yourself and hugged your duvet as close to your body as possible, needing something to cling onto like a lifeline.
You didn’t hear the door open through your muffled weeping. You did feel the gentle pair of hands on your waist and the dip in the bed either side of you. Your head shot up and you looked between the pair in panic, fearing they were going to tell you to go elsewhere for the day or even forever. Wanda shushed you softly and held your dampened cheeks in her hands.
“It’s okay, honey.” Wanda cooed and you whimpered as you tried to enjoy what you assumed was the last time she would hold you. “We’re not going anywhere and neither are you.” You peered at her cautiously and then Natasha who nodded gently.
“We’re sorry, baby. Sam was getting a little too handsy last night and you didn’t seem to notice.” Natasha explained carefully. You remembered the brief moment he had touched your waist and frowned at the memory.
“And you know letting people touch what isn’t theirs is breaking a rule.” You nodded slowly as Wanda added on.
“So your punishment was being ignored by us so you could learn but we took it too far.” Natasha admitted.
“And we never told you what was happening. We’re so sorry we made you feel this way, sweetie. We love you so much.” Wanda said as she kissed you softly on the lips as Natasha lay down behind you and wrapped her arms protectively around your waist.
“So so much.” She added.
“Promise?” You asked and Wanda lay down to join you and wipe your tears away.
“Always.”
“Let us show you.” Natasha whispered against your neck and you nodded as she rolled you gently onto your back and began planting soft kisses along your neck, occasionally lingering on patches of skin to suck dark bruises into them. Wanda titled your head towards you and kissed you slowly, cherishing the taste of you and wanting to reclaim all that she could.
Natasha’s hands started to wander down your stomach and landed at the hem of your sweatpants that she easily surpassed along with your panties. You gasped when you felt her fingers run along your folds and up to your clit. You bucked your hips and moaned against Wanda when she applied some pressure, all while the Sokovian started to retrace her girlfriend’s steps by running her hands across your breasts. Her thumbs brushed against your hardened nipples and she hummed against you.
Natasha finally pushed two fingers past your folds and relished in the slick that coated them instantly. She curled them gently inside you and withdrew to start about making a consistent pace that had you melting beneath them both.
“That’s it, sweetie.” Wanda assured in the most loving tone you had ever heard from her.
“Taking me so well. Our best girl.” Natasha hummed and withdrew her fingers. You whined softly but shushed when Natasha brought her fingers up to Wanda’s lips and slid them inside. The Sokovian hummed in delight around Natasha’s fingers, eagerly licking her slender digits before retreating to start down your body, determined to gain an unfiltered taste.
Wanda pulled your sweatpants and panties off completely and kissed up your thighs softly, taking her time in treasuring you just as Natasha had done with your neck. She gleamed at the sight before her and didn’t hesitate to lick a long strip between your folds. You mewled in Natasha’s hold as Wanda moaned against you. “Always so sweet.” She dipped her tongue inside of you and you clenched around her muscle with a gasp.
“That’s it, you’re doing so good for us.” Natasha praised softly as she started to rub your clit with her free hand. You bucked against both their movements, feeling beautifully overwhelmed by it all. Wanda’s tongue flicked inside you and you moaned loudly into the air, tempting Natasha to quieten you with a kiss while your other girlfriend continued to work between your legs that were beginning to shake.
“Please.” You whined as you felt your high approaching. The pair smiled at one another as they continued to please you.
“I can feel you clenching my tongue.” Wanda mused.
“Go ahead and cum for us, baby.” You did as you were told without a second’s delay. You moaned loudly into the air as you shuddered against the bed and came undone on Wanda’s tongue. The pair helped you ride out your high and into another orgasm relentlessly. They didn’t let up, making you cum again and once more, leaving you feeling utterly exhausted and overworked.
“That’s it, darling. You did so good for us.” Wanda praised as she fell down besides you and they both held you protectively.
“We love you.” Natasha muttered softly and you smiled.
“I love you both too.” You hummed, enjoying the warmth of your girlfriends’ comfort.

What a fair day it was.
My lover and I had prepared and filled our portmanteaus with the necessities. Lucio, being his usual self, stuffed a lot of clothes that I was sure he wouldn’t even be wearing. Look at all those excess gold!
The seven of us had sailed out in Nadia's yacht. A huge and sleek yacht. I was torn between staring at the beauteous sea or staying inside and exploring its ornate structure. But eventually I ended up joining Lucio out in the open.
His introspective figure stared at the gentle oscillation of glimmering waves, the sun setting behind him and painting warm hues on the white yacht. His hands were on the railing and it seemed as if he was roughly gripping on them. When I approached him, he didn’t notice me until my third call. He was acting out of character again. Normally he would annoy (as I'd like to word it out) us all. It was good for our parts though since we wouldn’t be having any more headaches with this troublemaker.
“What’re you thinking, Luci?”
“Me?” He pointed to himself. Obviously. “Nothing important! Haha! I'm just enjoying the view! It’s great! Isn’t it?”
“I do like the view.” I assented.
“You’re my best view.”
“..Oh.”
He laughed at my displeased reaction and went silent again.
Somehow, there was a tangible premonition present in the atmosphere, and I had learned that I should always trust my intuitions. A knot formed in my stomach. What was the matter with me? I swallowed the lump in my throat and attempted to shrug it off. I refused to let my day get spoiled.
I stood beside Lucio and put my hand above his own, smiling when he nudged my shoulder with his. He put his prosthetic arm over my shoulder and pointed out to the ocean. There were three small dolphins in a near distance who swam closer to our yacht until we got a better view of them. They squeaked and jumped as if to reach us. I didn’t know if it was just Lucio's luck or something, but his upper half ended up getting drenched by I reckoned intentional splashes.
Of course, the himbo argued with the poor adorable creatures.
“Hey! Stop that! Ugh, [Y/N]! Tell them!”
“Look! They brought us another.. familiar friend.” I grinned, ignoring his plead.
When he looked down, his chagrin rose at the sight of the land shark that stole his precious Bourbon Beef the last time we went out.
“YOU! Why are you here?! You've troubled me enough! Shoo!”
“I think it can smell the Bourbon Beef Asra's preparing..”
“He’s what?! Why didn’t he tell me?!”
“Why would he te—”
He seized my wrist and we trotted to where Asra and the rest were.
“Why wasn’t I informed?!”
“You and [Y/N] looked busy with each other's company. Thought better not to disturb.” Asra replied.
“That’s good, but still! It’s Bourbon Beef we’re talking about. I already got my last one stolen and I’m not allowing any more land sharks to steal it!”
“Yeah. One already found us.”
“One? Look over there, my dear magician,” Julian pointed at the railing behind him. “Soon enough this yacht will be surrounded by them.”
I scratched my head and at the same time Asra's eyes met mine. The last time was more than enough, thank you very much.
With our magic converged, we brought up an invisible protective seal that blanketed the yacht. One could neither enter nor leave until either of us breaks the spell. I figured Asra would do it himself later.
Now free from thieves, both Asra and Lucio continued to grill the beef in satisfaction. I approached Muriel and sat beside him. He scowled but thankfully didn’t shoo me away. Reckoned it’s because he knew that at least I wasn’t as loud as my Lucio. Speaking of, I continued to watch him and Asra constantly argue about the littlest things, while Julian busied himself by telling rather exaggerated stories to Nadia which had Portia rolling her eyes at the same time playing along with her brother.
Muriel and I relished the silence together, occasionally laughing while pointing out the land sharks who were valiantly trying to access our yacht.
I leaned my back and smiled as I looked at the glowing ruby sky. Suddenly, I yelped as a heavy weight pressed on my shoulder. I looked around and it was just Lucio, grinning. I flicked his forehead.
“Aw hey!” He pouted. “Food’s ready [Y/N]. Let’s go!”
“Alright, but stop scaring me for heaven’s sake!”
We ate and shared stories and laughter. Everyone was clearly enjoying themselves. But...
“Luci..”
Lucio blinked before acknowledging my presence with a tad bit of surprise on his face. “Yes [Y/N]?”
“Are you all right? Are you sea-sick or something?”
“Me? Sea-sick? Hah! Don’t be ridiculous! I’ll never get sea-sick!”
“You didn’t answer my question.”
“What do you mean? I just did!”
“I asked if you were all right, Lucio.”
“Me? Well of course I'm all right! Why wouldn’t I be?”
“You were all quiet... It was so unlike you. I thought you’ve problems.”
“Your Luci being quiet? It's called character development, [Y/N].”
“Montag Morgasson! I'm being serious!”
“I—well—so am I! Really, there’s no need to be so worried! Save your worries for later!”
“Ugh. You are always so impossible.”
“Always?! Excuse me?!”
My eyes turning to slits seemed to be adequate for him to treat the matter less frivolously.
“Ow-kay ow-kay... [Y/N].. Hehe.. But really, I—I appreciate.. your concern.. Augh! Just come here for a sec, will ya?”
He patted his lap. I initially didn’t want to give him the satisfaction, but I also couldn’t help myself. Lucio wrapped his arms around my waist whilst nuzzling my neck. I chuckled, then he looked up at me, dazedly batting his eyelashes.
“You’re mine, aren’t you? My sweet, sweet [Y/N]... You do love me, right?”
My breath hitched as his hot breath tickled my neck, sending shivers throughout my body. With his faced cupped in my hands, I leaned in to kiss his forehead.
“Of course Luci. I love you so much.”
“You love me that you’d stay by my side forever, right?”
I ruffled his hair as I chuckled. “Of course, even if you are very loud, all the time.”
“You promise?”
“Of course. You can take my word for it.”
Lucio sighed in satisfaction, relishing the warmth my hand shared on his cheek.
“Good. That’s good, dove.”
“You’re acting so sweet today Luci.. Perhaps you’ve eaten way too much sugar?”
“Not enough sugar. I’ve still yet to eat the main sweetness right here.”
“L-Lucio!”
“Now you’re being shy?”
“You can’t blame me!”
I squirmed strenuously but his hold on me was far greater. I wiggled and even more when he began tickling me. My face was burning and the air had almost left my lungs when he stopped. We both looked at each other—and then erupted into laughter.
“Let go of me otherwise I'll really turn you back to your goat form!”
“C’mon, you always speak empty words! You love me way too much to do that!”
“You’re rather complacent when in fact I like the goat better than I like the original you. The goat was fluffier.. a perfect cuddle buddy.”
“But I am that goat!”
“You don’t have enough fluff.”
“I have loads of fluffy comforters! We can use that to cuddle!”
“But those are just comforters! I want the goat!”
Lucio scowled in disbelief. “You have weird tastes. I’m way more handsome than that stupid goat.”
“Lucio, you are that goat. You just called yourself stupid.”
“....”
He began to loudly protest while I only laughed. I pinched his nose and nuzzled it with mine when he was done complaining.
“You idiot, I love you way too much.”
“So do I, [Y/N]. Hey! Jules! Mind your own business!”
“What did I even do this time?! And don’t call me Jules!”
Eventually we had to retire to our chambers, Lucio and I sharing one as to his request. The night had been very busy, special thanks to two certain himbos making fun of each other. I fancied Lucio had gone out sometime later as I wasn’t able to feel him sleeping beside me. Still, I continued my sleep.
A hefty object resided on top on my chest. I could neither breath nor move. Everything was pitch black. The silence was too loud that I felt my head about to explode. What was going on?
The knot in my stomach tightened as I heard a pin drop. The sound was muffled.. and it sounded as if it were trying to reach me.
I could finally move. I walked and walked yet all my movements halted when I heard a scream of agony too familiar to me.
That voice...
Asra's...
Where could he be?! I ran and ran for who knows how long yet I remained unmoving and the cries only seemed to grow further away.
Light started to sporadically appear in the middle of this vast blackness, along with images of my friends who were in pain. They were crying, fighting yet failing against the unknown shadow... And then there was Asra whose eyes were fixed on mine.
‘Run.’
Run was all that he said before blood splattered on my vision, and the next image was too gruesome that I couldn’t move or even think anymore as it spontaneously replayed in my eyes.
“A-Asra!”
“ASRA!”
I sat up and reached forth, looking wildly around the vicinity.
I let out a huge sigh. It was merely a dream. But I couldn’t stop my anxiety. I clutched my clothes and tried valiantly not to think of the last image I saw, but to no avail.
It was eerily silent, only the waves crashing against each other present at the current.
I looked beside me.
Where’s Lucio?
I was anxious from my nightmare alone, but seeing him still not there made it worse.
Where could he be at a time like this? I was certain the others had all fallen asleep. I got out of bed and sauntered out in the open.
The breeze picked up and I had to squint my eyes. The waves were then characterized by torrent as the yacht wobbled on its sides. I walked and walked and then finally, I saw a familiar figure.
“Lucio! Are you alright!? Oh goodness ho—”
I stopped my tracks, noticing a brown, icky substance pooling on the ground. My heart throbbed in terror seconds later as the realization dawned me -- the substance was blood.
"Lucio! Oh my goodness! What happened?" I stepped closer, eyes still fixated on the pool of blood which trailed from Lucio himself. He turned around, eerily silent, with blood cascading his fingers -- even more of it on his chest area. Panic-stricken, I fumbled my brain for the easiest healing spell, only to stop as I fully took in what I was seeing.
Onyx sclera, horns sprouting from his forehead, bloodlust and a strong sense of utter wrongness in his demeanor.
I carefully stepped back. This wasn't Lucio. The others were nowhere to be found, and the blood...
It couldn't be.
"You're awake dove, so soon. I was hoping to spare you of the gory sight -- but oh well. It's almost over anyway. Wanna enjoy the show?"
Lucio -- no -- the abomination -- it couldn't be him! He looked down, as if to admire the gory masterpiece he had created. He stepped closer to me, licking a small blotch of blood from his swollen bottom lip, having a predator-like look on his face. I instinctively summoned my magic. He just chuckled -- so shrilly that it felt like thunder ringing in my ears.
"Come on [Y/N]! No need to be so afraid. I will never harm you. I love you."
"What did you do to Lucio?"
"What did I do to whom? Lucio? What did I do to myself? HAHAHA! Silly little pet, don't be so daft! I am your Lucio."
The magic in my tightly clenched fist began to grow more and more tangible. But a sudden, invisible compulsion tugged my consciousness away from concentration, pushing my back against a wooden panel where I winced and shut my eyes from the excruciating pain.
I could feel his shadow looming in front of me. I felt claws digging my throat, scraping my jaw and gripping it. I was forced to look at him. Even in darkness, his resemblance to my Lucio, and the rare looks he'd give me whenever we were alone, was terribly vivid. He smirked, revealing his sharp fangs.
"You still don't get it, do you? Aww, you look so adorable when you're helpless like this. Look at you, shivering..."
I gathered my strength to defeat the invisible chain around my body and surged my magic into the abomination. I stood up and looked down at him with loathing. I did knock him out -- but he recovered too quickly and chuckled. I covered my ears with the strong tintinnabulation and stepped back, wide-eyed.
Just then, appearing from behind a post was a limping, smitten figure, blood oozing from their stomach and mouth. It was Asra. He looked at me and mouthed, "Run."
Run. It all felt like deja vu.
"Run."
Run was all that he said before blood splattered on my vision, and the next image was too gruesome that I couldn’t move or even think anymore as it spontaneously replayed in my eyes.
Oh, God.
"Oh would you look at that! The magician is finally here! His apprentice can finally enjoy the last scene!"
"What did you do to them?! What did you do to them, Lucio?!"
"I simply got rid of them! They were all nuisances anyway. Liked rubbing their noses on our relationship. Taking bits of your time which should only exist for me."
My body quivered, looking at all the blood scattered around. I was loss for words for a moment. The only thing which brought my senses back was the horrible fit of laughter coming from him.
"T-They were our friends!"
"Our friends? So, like, you're choosing them over me?!"
"Lu -- "
"You said you'd be with me forever... Only the two of us, no nuisances. And I did the job so you don't have to! And now -- "
Asra surged his magic, knocking Lucio out for merely a few seconds that I was barely halfway running to Asra to help him out when Lucio got up again. Asra and I exchanged looks of terror. He had summoned a powerful spell that had always worked in the past, and for Lucio to heal so quickly was a terrifying premonition.
It was indeed Lucio, that I was sure of. Yet it didn't feel like him. The dark energy which he was emitting and oppressing us was so immense that it reminded me of...
"The Devil."
"Tsk, Asra! It's rude to interrupt while someone's talking. Didn't you learn common manners?! Oh, sorry, I forgot. No one was there to teach you, because your parents were imprisoned!"
I shared Asra's seething lividness at Lucio's words. We attacked him in unison, yet he dodged so easily, now entirely focused on provoking Asra and ignoring me.
"I always knew that you and my little dove once shared feelings. It was a long time ago, but I can't take the risk of them getting back to the surface. Sorry Asra, it's nothing personal. It's just my job to prevent that from happening."
Lucio grinned. I began attacking him simultaneously -- all attacks which he easily countered as if he was merely flicking a speck of dust. The last attack however finally sent him down. But it was no victory for us. Lucio was evidently annoyed now.
"So you're siding with him now, [Y/N]? I thought you loved me... But it doesn't matter. I can love you for the both of us."
"SHUT UP! Don't use your so-called love to justify murdering my friends, you bloody arse!"
Now he looked severely aggravated. There came a vivid change in his expression and the atmosphere. It was menacing enough before, but now it was on a different level.
"They've manipulated you so badly that you're even turning your back against ME. Well, this is gonna be a problem... As much as I want you to witness me finishing off your beloved master, you're completely siding with him now, aren't you? Well well... I don't like hurting you [Y/N], I really don't. You'll just have to forgive me for this one, okay?"
He began attacking me before I could prepare. I quickly countered though, but I was only on the defensive. He was tenfold stronger than me -- especially because his attacks were filled with too great vehemence. Asra backed me up, hitting Lucio from the other side, yet his attacks were futile. Not only did he had not enough strength left, but Lucio easily flicked his attacks away with his left hand while the other one kept on attacking me.
The insanity on his countenance grew the weaker I became due to constantly defending myself. In the end, I had failed to defeat him and landed on the wooden flooring with a thunderous crash. The last thing I saw was Asra's wounded face, full of anger and blood lust for revenge.
Would he make it? But.. Lucio was so much stronger than him...

I awakened with a heavy weight pressing against my chest, the vestiges of my nightmare and the vivid, gory images of the events which happened still playing in my head.
Except, it wasn't a nightmare.
I knew this in my heart. Everything was real. Everything happened -- how I ended up being fettered in the yacht's interior. Still, I couldn't fully acknowledge that it was indeed what happened. I couldn't understand why all of this happened...
Why was this all happening to me? To us?
A few minutes later, a discernible figure whose countenance was graced with a haughty, odious smirk forged towards me. Lucio dropped on his knees, scratching my chin in an attempt to caress it, just like he did in the old times. But there was no warmth to his touch -- only pure lust. His actions were tainted.
And maybe they had always been, and I just failed to notice, because I believed in him. That he would grow and learn from his past mistakes.
I shivered in disgust as his lips met my jawline. I spat and glared at him, unblinking. A veer of emotions occurred in him and he tutted irascibly.
"What's this? You've always loved it when I do that to you. Now you're being a brat?"
I spat again, now on him. He snarled.
"You killed my best friends, you fucking monster! What happened... What happened to you?! I thought I know you, Lucio!"
The tears came unbidden. Thinking about it, we were so happy. I was excited to spend time with him and my best friends in Prakra. This was supposed to be a trip we could all enjoy... but what happened? I thought he was different from before! But then, he got worse... Lovesick, filled with lust for power, with the intention of keeping me all to himself.
"I thought I knew you too, [Y/N]. I thought you'd understand my intentions and work with me... but you're siding with them? Those trash? Ugh, you've blighted all the plans I've stored for just the two of us. But it's fine. Didn't I say? I can love you for the both of us. And it's not like you can escape, even if you try to."
I gritted my teeth. My resolve was adamant. I needed to escape and smite him, for the lives he had taken. This wasn't the man I loved anymore. Perhaps the man I loved never even existed. Perhaps all the actions he had given me were just fraud.
I wasn't going to underestimate that abomination, but I wasn't going to do the same with myself. I defeated The Devil once. Summoning my magic, I made him flew over the barrels, giving me enough time to untangle the magical chains restraining me. I hastily opened a portal and jumped straight just as he was about to get up. I only got as far to land on an island where I could still see the yacht on a veritable distance.
I panted. This was my time to call for back-up. Yet my heart leaped to my throat. His silhouette was already on the shore. He began taking his time walking towards me, now clearly livid.
I ran throughout the natural island maze with utter dread, moreso when I started hearing his voice. Not from my left -- not from my right -- but everywhere all at once, sharply ringing in my head and making me dizzy.
"You can run, but you can't hide from me. Don't you know, [Y/N]? We have a connection. This is what the universe gave us, a connection that only exists between the two of us. Do you know what that means? It means that neither of us can escape from one another! Wherever you go, you're bound to end up in front of me, [Y/N]!"
In a flash, I was blasted to the ground. And when I looked down, I saw a thin, sharp branch jutting from my stomach.
There was blood all over it.
I began to cough with the same red liquid. A healing spell -- I needed -- no... My hands were quivering. There was blood all over me. My vision began dimming. I began hyperventilating. Tears began cascading. I needed a healing spell -- just -- just one! And yet... Why couldn't I feel anything, anymore? The bright blue sky turned into a vision straight out of a nightmare. And an odious figure appeared before my eyes.
"See? I found you, my little dove."
