Born to an upper middle class family in Huntsville

Never quite felt like she fit into the small town life

Had a natural gift for singing, took lessons from a woman on Sundays after church

Family drove her to take dance classes outside of Huntsville as a kid/later on her own when she could drive

Started doing plays during the summer in the closest city when she was 10

Graduated high school and spent the next couple years continuing to build up her resume, taking courses at a community college and working as a waitress in town to save up money

Moved to Chicago at the age of 20 where she lived for the next 3 years where she was part of many productions, usually as a swing or in the chorus

At 23 she became part of a touring company and then 2 years after that at the age of 25 she and a friend moved to New York. 

Continued to work on and off over the next couple years, not receiving a lead role til she was 30, a role that would end up bringing her a lot of notoriety and acclaim within the theater world. 

The next few years found her not only performing on stages in New York, but London, Sydney, and a few other places as well. 

Hadn't meant to come back to Huntsville, glad to have left small town life behind

Wound up stuck 2 years ago when taking a trip and the shortest path happened to take her through town 

Figured she might as well, and stop and see family while she was at it (finding it odd and somewhat offensive that in all her years of performing since leaving that none of them had come to see her perform, especially after she started getting bigger parts.) 

Bought the antique shop about a year ago

Works on putting together shows once every couple of months that helps showcase the artistic and musical talents of the people in Huntsville, usually renting out space at the dance hall to do this. 

Despite trying to make the most of it, because what else can she do, she hates being stuck here.

Ana Martinez does not survive in the end. 

She does not live to see her mother again, to play another game of soccer, or win another debate competition. She does not grow old, she doesn’t get married, she doesn’t see her older brother find peace. All she does is wither and rot, as all things do. 

But Ana Martinez is not all dead, not fully. She lives on in the memories of the survivors, of those that got to see the plane that saved them. She haunts them, they see her in their periphery, in the gentle laugh of a girl, the breeze in autumn, the biting chill of a winter’s night. Because Ana Martinez is dead, but she is the reason they all survived.

Seventeen, almost eighteen, Ana was almost out of New Jersey, and she was going to go out with a Bang! She’d been the team’s Left-Winger since she’d graduated from JV when she was freshly fifteen, and despite being the Coach’s daughter, nobody could deny her being one of the strongest players on the team. She was a shoo-in for a full-ride scholarship to the University of North Carolina, she was going to be a star player and get a business degree while doing it. But first they had to win at Nationals.

Ana liked to believe that what happened next was the consequence of three things.

1. Taissa Turner breaking Ally’s leg, tearing it apart, right down to the bone.

Ana knew it was a bad idea, she’d argued against it, when Tai had proposed the idea to the small group of players. She’d stood strong beside her fellow Winger, Natalie Scatorccio, pleaded for them to see sense. But Tai was headstrong, and she wanted to win, and that wasn’t going to happen if Ally was on the field with them.

Ana figured she didn’t fight enough.

2. The Yellowjackets being prideful, arrogant, and sometimes, downright mean.

It wasn’t their fault, any of them. Ana and the rest of the team, they were just kids - teenage girls, most of which hadn’t even hit eighteen yet. Teenage girls are mean, they tear at your throat with words of poison, and teeth filed to sharp points – they pick you apart piece by piece, they consume your very being until they spit you back up, a perfect mold of themselves.

Each of the Yellowjackets had a vice, something that made them imperfect, something that made them wrong. 

Ana wasn’t sure if it was the fact that she liked girls or the fact that she liked to throw eggs at the houses of kids who pissed her off that made her wrong. 

She just knew that she was.

3. Ana Martinez telling her father she hated him.

Sure, Mr. Martinez wasn’t perfect, he wasn’t a particularly good father, he was harsh and stern and cared all too much about soccer than he did about his children, but he was still her father. He worked harder than anyone she’d ever known, he made sure that she had whatever she needed, and when she was hurt – emotionally, physically, whatever it may be – he made sure to pat her on the head and slip a plate of sopapillas under her bedroom door.

And the truth was that Ana loved her father, more than anything else in the world – even if he hadn’t told her he loved her in two years, even if he frowned more than he smiled. But he had upset her, in the way that only he could. Instead of congratulating her for their big win, for saying how excited he was for them to go to nationals, for telling her he was proud of her, he had critiqued her. 

Ana had never been good at receiving critique from her father, but this time, when she’d been coming down from such a high, she simply couldn’t handle it, which is why she’d yelled.

So, this was why Ana believed they’d crashed, why they had to do what they had to do, endure what they endured. Ana believed that the reason she died was because no matter how hard she worked to help everyone, to make sure the team stayed together and stayed alive, it didn’t matter, because at her core, Ana Martinez was a girl, and she was twisted, wrong. 

This is why she didn’t make it.

The Biker Yans

Lottie’s technically the leader of their branch of the gang, but her laid-back attitude towards the whole thing sometimes stretches into outright slacking. The way she sees it, she’s got subordinates for a reason, right~? Even if she doesn’t take her responsibilities as a boss very seriously, she’s still very commanding and demanding.

Lottie has the Queen Bee attitude down to a science

Looooves drugs and partying, but that doesn’t mean she can’t handle business when she really needs to— although whoever fucked up enough that she had to step in is gonna get a real earful, or worse~

Definitely more perceptive and vindictive than she usually lets on

Loves badass bikes, vintage cars, modded cars, and illegal racing, and the whole moto aesthetic, really

Aspen is Lottie’s well-meaning, but often absent-minded second in command and body guard. She’s very strong, very sweet, and doesn’t always realize the implications of what she’s doing for her bestie/boss. The kind of person to beat somebody up because orders are orders, but buy them a drink after for the trouble.

Aspen has a huge affinity for anything heart-shaped, even incorporating it into her hairstyles— whether it’s a heart shaved into short hair, or cornrows braided into hearts at her temples, or Bantu knots pulled from at least one heart-shaped section. Her hair is almost always dyed a deep, raspberry red.

She loves winter and the aesthetics of Christmas a lot— big enjoyer of romantic holiday movies, warm fuzzy socks, and fluffy or patterned sleepwear

Reed and Dew are in charge of one of the branch’s biggest money laundering operations— their tattoo parlor + piercing salon. Reed often teases Dew, but they do manage to live and work together pretty well. Dew’s soft pastel working environment and sweet demeanor are carefully crafted to offset Reed’s side of the store (which has a much more hardcore lean) in order to attract more customers. Even if a customer dislikes one side of the store’s aesthetic, maybe the other will put them at ease.

Reed has that very mischievous nature often attributed to foxes— and has a very distinctive, fox-like laugh to match 🥰

Reed obviously loves Halloween and anything horror-related~! He’s got a big collection of horror-related posters, figurines, makeup, and jewelry.

Dew has a form of albinism. His eyes look reddish-pink in some lighting, and blue or even purple in others. He usually mixes pink hair dye with his conditioner to keep it pastel. All of his tattoos are pastel, too.

Dew moonlights as an artist as well as an adult streamer, enjoying the extra money and attention~! Real workaholic, though— no wonder he’s always so tired and grumpy inside.

Dew’s got a sour attitude under that sweet facade— which is why Reed loves teasing him so much

Reed and Dew can both tattoo and pierce, but Dew prefers piercing and Reed prefers tatting, although Reed doesn’t often draw in his off-time like Dew does

Dew loves plants and baking, too, but is embarrassed to be called on it

My writing rules

I’m only gonna write for female characters or nonbinary characters and x reader. I will also write for female reader and gender neutral reader. I don’t actually use like girl, women or she/her pronouns in my writing unless someone specifies it in a request. I try to keep reader as ambiguous as possible so anyone can imagine themselves as reader…. Expect men I guess.

I’m a lesbain so I won’t write male reader or any male characters. Trans masc nonbinary and gnc readers or characters are fine though.

Right now I am only writing fluff maybe some angst. But if you have an idea send it my way. My only thing is I don’t write smut.

Right now my requests are Closed ( for Yellowjackets) but you can request for any of the Yellowjackets that I have written before older or younger when I open them up back again( this might change but right now I’m not taking requests for Yellowjackets)

Troy Donahue-Calliso had a plan.  A good plan, at that.  A plan that involved graduating from Chilton at the top of his class, then going to Yale to study political science and international affairs, then going to Yale law, then becoming a lawyer, then senator, and then the youngest President in history.  He liked his plan, it was a good plan.  It left room for the occasional stress relieving hookups with his friends, it accounted for the disdain that he would forever face in Hartford – for his sexuality, for the colour of his skin, for his parents’ divorce, for his father not being from Hartford.  It was the perfect, foolproof plan.  He never planned for the Gilmores.
