Unemployment Among Indian Graduates Industry-Academia Community a Solution
![Tumblr media](https://64.media.tumblr.com/b60983351f6054b0fccb68e7c594dca9/643316ce12ada61c-e7/s540x810/77a361257392f35909be2c2c66d8a004a6db51e1.jpg)
Introduction
Unemployment among Indian graduates has reached alarming levels, with many unable to secure jobs that match their qualifications. This issue is exacerbated by a disconnect between academic curricula and industry requirements.
The Problem
A significant number of graduates lack the practical skills demanded by employers. According to various reports, nearly 80% of engineering graduates are considered unemployable due to outdated educational frameworks and insufficient hands-on training.
Industry-Academia Community
To address this gap, fostering collaboration between industries and academic institutions is essential. By integrating real-world projects into the curriculum, students can gain relevant experience. Internships and co-op programs can also bridge the skill gap, making graduates more attractive to employers.
Conclusion
Strengthening ties between academia and industry will not only enhance employability but also drive innovation in education, ultimately reducing unemployment rates among Indian graduates.

MBBS and MD/MS Admissions in India: Your Pathway to a Medical Career
![Tumblr media](https://64.media.tumblr.com/27df6fff510ebd921e12b84816c14533/7de24be8b6e97887-68/s540x810/9ab9d9fe799de0686b492989b8ec29c4e2b8af2b.jpg)
India is one of the most sought-after destinations for medical education, particularly MBBS and postgraduate medical studies like MD/MS. With a vast array of medical colleges, advanced infrastructure, and affordable tuition fees, India attracts students from across the globe, especially through NRI and management quota admissions. This guide provides an overview of the MBBS and postgraduate medical study opportunities in India, focusing on MD/MS admission, NEET PG, NRI quota, and management quota admissions.
1. MD/MS Admission in India
MD (Doctor of Medicine) and MS (Master of Surgery) are postgraduate degrees that allow MBBS graduates to specialize in their chosen medical fields. Admission to these programs in India is primarily based on NEET PG scores, a national-level examination that all aspiring postgraduate medical students must take.
Eligibility for MD/MS Admission
Completion of an MBBS degree from a recognized medical college.
Completion of a 12-month rotating internship.
A valid NEET PG score, which determines eligibility for admission into top medical colleges.
India has several prestigious medical colleges like AIIMS, JIPMER, and private institutions where students can apply for MD/MS courses. The quality of education, research facilities, and clinical exposure offered by these institutions makes them highly desirable.
2. NEET PG Admission in India
The NEET PG (National Eligibility cum Entrance Test Postgraduate) is the gateway for students looking to pursue MD/MS in India. Conducted annually by the National Board of Examinations (NBE), NEET PG is essential for admission to both government and private medical colleges.
NEET PG Admission Process
Register: Candidates must register for NEET PG through the official NBE website.
Appear for the Exam: The exam tests candidates on various medical subjects studied during the MBBS program.
Counseling: Based on the scores obtained, students participate in counseling sessions where seats are allotted in different medical colleges.
Allotment of Seats: After counseling, candidates are granted admission into MD/MS programs in their preferred colleges based on their rank and availability of seats.
NEET PG opens doors to a wide array of specialties in medicine, offering students the opportunity to specialize in their fields of interest.
3. NRI Quota Admission in India
For foreign students or Indian nationals residing abroad, India offers NRI quota admissions in various medical colleges. NRI quota seats are reserved for students who meet specific criteria, such as holding an NRI status or sponsorship by a relative who is an NRI.
Benefits of NRI Quota Admission
Increased chance of securing admission in reputed medical colleges without intense competition.
The option to study at top institutions without having to participate in the general merit list.
Access to world-class medical education in India at affordable rates compared to other countries.
NRI quota admissions are particularly beneficial for those looking to bypass the fiercely competitive general admission process in India.
4. NRI Quota Admission in MBBS
MBBS is one of the most sought-after undergraduate medical programs in India, and NRI quota admissions offer an excellent pathway for overseas students to enroll in Indian medical colleges. Every year, a certain number of MBBS seats are allocated for NRI students in both government and private medical colleges.
Application Process for NRI Quota Admission in MBBS
Eligibility: Applicants must have completed 12 years of schooling, preferably with Physics, Chemistry, and Biology as core subjects.
NEET UG Scores: NRI candidates are required to appear for NEET UG and score a minimum qualifying percentile to be eligible for admission.
Seat Allocation: NRI seats are allotted through a centralized counseling process conducted by the Medical Council of India (MCI) and respective state bodies.
The NRI quota significantly eases the admission process for foreign nationals, offering them access to India’s top medical education institutions.
5. Management Quota Admission in MD/MS
Medical colleges in India also offer management quota admissions for postgraduate courses like MD and MS. Management quota seats are usually available in private medical colleges, and the selection process is relatively more flexible compared to government institutions.
Eligibility for Management Quota Admission in MD/MS
A valid MBBS degree from a recognized university.
Completion of the mandatory internship.
NEET PG qualification is typically required, but the cutoff is often lower for management quota seats.
Management quota admission offers students an alternative route to secure their seats in top medical colleges, especially if their NEET PG rank does not meet the general or state quota criteria.

TELL US ABT UR FANKIDS. I WANT TO KNWOW!!! :3
AHHH okay!! So
in this world nrc became coed around five years after the current first years graduated
Faraja is just Leona’s child (bc I don’t really ship him with anyone but it just felt right to have one), and she is very like, calm. And super in love with her girlfriend. Big defining trait right there bc she is a sunset savanna feminist. 1. Complétive spell drive champion and princess (though so far removed from the crown she doesn’t care anymore, bc when five people + would have to die for you to get the crown, including your own father, you kinda just. Stop paying attention to it) and 2. Dedicated girlfriend
![Tumblr media](https://64.media.tumblr.com/8ecc18258e7a840502f9e83cd65efeb9/1cfd36bdcd177c87-bc/s540x810/64886a1eba12470dd5cf8b0af8b9c3547a65f221.jpg)
![Tumblr media](https://64.media.tumblr.com/93c7de9001b1d0bcbec0d4549d0042d0/1cfd36bdcd177c87-7e/s540x810/3e06085103866613fa1055febc12a8aff8d1e576.jpg)
Here are some of my doodles of her (including dad leona. He’s a history professor at a magic college and all of his students love him)
VIVIENNE is her girlfriend. I called her evie for shorthand until I had the time to look up an actual name. Yes it is after evie from descendants.
Viv is a musician who is definitely a bit of a nepo baby bc of vil, but she’s also definitely talented enough to hold her own without him. She plays guitar and keeps a crossbow on her at all times (imagine those gun thigh straps but magical folding crossbow instead of gun). they met as first years in savannaclaw, and the main reason she transferred was bc the old pomefiore housewarden was becoming a fourth year and REALLY needed someone to take over, so in a panic fueled haze went “hey your dad was a good housewarden, think you can fill in for me? Sorry what was that I gotta go on my internship now good luck with the dorm!!!-“ so she stepped in
(she does have a problem of dressing like a Christian college girl going on a mission trip every time she comes to the savanna tho.)
the entire reason I even thought of putting them together tho was bc I thought it’d be HILARIOUS for leona and vil to have to have the most AWKWARD “meet the parents” dinner EVER. NEITHER OF THEM WERE MADE AWARE BY THEIR CHILDREN BC NEITHER OF THEIR KIDS KNEW THEY HAD MAD BEEF IN HIGHSCHOOL
anyways by the time leona and vil figured it out it was #toolate. Their daughters were already together for a year and a half.
Nami is the first one I ever designed and thought out. She’s also the only one to have a named and fully thought out unique magic
she can speak 7 languages and way too many animal ones, has to go down to 8ths to explain most of her heritage (3/4th Japanese and 1/4italian azul and 1/2 Egyptian, 1/4 Arabian (my lore swap in word bc oh my fucking god agrabah is such a fucking headache. Orientalism is a bitch when it comes to historical research. What do you mean the live action is primarily Indian clothing but narration describes it being off of a river nowhere near that. India isn’t even NEAR an Arabian desert. That was way too much of a tangent- anyways) and 1/4th South Indian Jamil creates the most annoying white girl answer of “oh well ACTUALLY I’m 1/6th French 1/4th German-“ answer but not white.)
nami’s ultimate magic is called siren song. Anyone who hears her singing is made vunerable to her hypnotism. It is not active all of the time, and if someone is out of earshot the hypnotism wears off. She performs weekly concerts at school (which she is fully not supposed to do btw. If either of her dads heard abt it she’d get in trouble for the first time in her life SO FAST-) to get people used to hearing her sing. Just in case she needs to mass hypnotize the school, bc you never know-
nami has also had a serious escape artist problem since she was able to freely transform between her human and mer form (which I have more lore for, but I am making a diagram for that so that shall be a different post). She can and will get up on roofs, inside walls and vents, climb fences, poles, and generally anything. She was air tagged and gpsed by Jamil constantly (kalim was the predecessor), and that was only done to find her after the fact.
![Tumblr media](https://64.media.tumblr.com/5bd9c5a41b428e5a9bd368439e31595c/1cfd36bdcd177c87-a7/s540x810/d97589b5fd8c02f28b80af4efc3195d6994216d4.jpg)
She was tossed around as a child like a divorced kid so Jamil could travel as much as he wanted. She’d go to school where azul was based (a fancy ass private school for kids who are like, 110% guaranteed to be mages so they had teachers who could handle it) and whenever she’d go to live with Jamil for a month Azul would just. Lie and say it’s a mermaid thing so she can’t be in person but she can do twst version of zoom- (also whenever she was being swapped the parent would fly with her to the other one. They also spent months together as a full unit and Jamil stopped traveling as much when she turned 11 but that is how she’s visited over 30ish countries)
(also just bc the teachers were trained to deal with magic doesn’t mean they were trained to deal with Nami: expert escape artist(tm). No one has succeeded in stopping her OTHER than when she was 7 and had a pole scaling problem, so Jamil slapped some leggings on her so she’d lose the grip her skin had. However this backfired when she just gained the ability to lift herself up with only her arms. A lot of her skills also have to do with her ability to withdraw her tentacles in like, a split second tho. She can pull out two and use octo strength to pull herself up or scale walls.)
she struggles with fears of falling short however. She feels like she can’t exactly beat expectations, only meet or fail them. It’s not like either of her parents put this pressure on herself, but when one parent was opening up a restaurant and the other was fully abt to stage a coup it’s kinda hard to beat that. She’s terrified of just being, average, bc to her, she should have everything to make her excellent.
She also is good at dancing and piano. She was that five year old who is better at piano than most adults. She also watches dramas with auntie Najma a lot. She is very close with Najma-
neo is my little cringe fail idikei kid. I love him so much he’s so funny to me. He’s immensely camera shy and suffers from high anxiety. He can however find out absolutely everything abt someone from a burner acc however.
absolute menace online. Nothing is safe from him. He doesn’t poss himself at ALL but best believe he knows everyone’s instas in the whole school. He does have access to crowleys search history just in case he ever needs blackmail
he also has a HUGE ass crush on Nami (she doesn’t reciprocate, bc she definitely sees him as a kid even tho he’s just a year younger (mainly bc she was the one who helped him adjust to being a housewarden)) bc he saw her, got SEVERELY intimidated by her, and then once she helped him adjust, he admired her. So he is very very awkward around her. He isn’t weird abt it with her tho. He would literally rather die than weird her out, bc that is his IDOL/hj. He thinks she’s very pretty as well. The other first years use this to their advantage to get him to come do things with them
those are the most like, thought out and complete ones I have for now-. Samir is kinda just a vibe and not much of a fleshed out character and the rest need legit names before I can confidently talk abt them, BUT rest assured I have MANY thoughts abt them
#Holy SHIT this is long as hell#Uh. I have many thoughts#Esp bc I had to do twstober for class#But I couldn’t do fanart#So it was ALL OCS and FANKIDS BBY#Speaking of which. I need to talk abt my ocs eventually#Esp Ymir. Ymir Velez my son my bby based off of yzma#And beau and goth#OH and goths little brother#Unnamed rapunzel twst#Which btw#Made me realize how similar the plots are of rapunzel and ariel#Like. They’re SO SIMILAR#Anyways that’s a long way of saying rapunzel twst and rielle boyfriends#They’re dating to me.

(Brother post person)
They constantly comment on my looks, hair, basically anything I do differently including my interest in astrology and my reverence towards goddesses and attraction towards temples.
They laugh when I cry. And are the happiest when I am not doing well in life. They create unnecessary conflicts and drama whenever I seem to be doing well and drag me into it. It's been 24 years, I have been quiet. But I wish to get out. Could you please help me?
I just wish to separate the self from not-self and see things more clearly.
I know you said there has been delays in your education but I hope you've finished your Bachelor's at least. I would say you should start looking for work and building your resume if you haven't already.
If you keep trying to pursue this new degree, you will still be at their mercy and they will exploit you at every turn. What you need to do is save money, find a job and move out and be independent. Once you're stable in that life, you can return to your education.
I know what's it's like to want to study further and remain a student. Sometimes it feels absolutely necessary to advance your career. Other times, it's a great way to take more time to figure things out. But trust me, right now, you need to leave this house and people behind. People less qualified than you are making $$$$. Don't be defeated, keep looking for work and you will find a job. Try to find remote work initially or part time jobs or an internship or something. Save up money. And then keep applying to places and once you have enough, move out.
You need to be a working woman rn because you need to have your own identity. Beyond money and stability, that's what a job gives you. As long as you remain a daughter and a sister, you will have to put up with this nonsense. They will never change. You need to carve a new life for yourself and that will not happen if you keep depending on them for your survival. This is exactly how Indian families keep their kids trapped. Can't cut them out if you're pursuing 3 degrees until you're 30, by which point your mind and personality has become so cemented by the nonsense they feed you that you can no longer see right from wrong and all those years of abuse and trauma will make you too afraid to stand up to them.
I'm not saying any of this to discourage you. I'm saying you need to get out asap. Don't wait for the next degree or whatever. Obviously it won't happen overnight but no one will save you, you have to save yourself. It may take several months to save enough money but that's okay. Start job hunting now and find work. Be determined and don't give up. Don't be embarassed of doing "small" jobs. Many jobs don't require any qualifications and you can easily earn ₹20k to ₹25k a month. Be a hustler. That's what will help you. Carve a new life and be in a new environment where your parents aren't influencing all your decisions and what not. Sometimes God puts us in certain situations just to see how much we can tolerate before we stand up for ourselves. Take a stand and find work. God will be with you.
