I also think it would be really funny for Galadriel to meet Anordil simply because her distaste of the Fëanorians is tempered by the fact that Galadriel knows how a princess of the noldor should have lived and /what do you mean she came to Imladris without any jewelry and what do you mean she spent the last three thousand years wandering without a permanent home/ and then it’s very much an internal struggle between her preconceived notions of how the house of Fëanor is vs you should have been treated the way i was you are GOING to accept this very pretty necklace I am giving you and you are going to wear it

Listen, I'm sorry to the people who draw Veils in torn/bloody robes because of the whole Vake thing but you're simply wrong. Do you think Veils would Ever go out like that. Do you think it doesn't have fifteen changes of clothes ready immediately, with options depending on the day and occasion, to climb into when it comes back from killing things. Of course it does. Veils is getting home, taking a shower in the Bazaar, putting on a new perfectly clean robe with accent panels and silk trim, and then dabbing 1 (one) tasteful bloodstain on the hem of it with a claw because it's arrogant and it thinks it can get away with it. What is a Veils if it's not serving cunt. Of course it is.

i'll be honest i wasn't going to be too bothered if lloyd won the poll because like a lot of people on both sides are just kind of having fun and that's like. the point. but i am really annoyed at the accusations of botting just because it feels like... oh we can make an effort and campaign but the second we're actually successful it HAS to be bots? it's the last day, i was always going to make a big push for the last day of the poll, and i'm not surprised other greek tragedy enjoyers reblogged it from us. it feels like the absolute worst faith reading to be honest

look how Murdock's hand moves automatically when B.A. grabs Face like he's got some kind of protective reflex (which of course quickly dies down when he remembers it's just B.A. and B.A.'s threats are never genuine)
i'm good i'm good i'm fine i'm okay

[Image ID: a digital drawing of a muscular man with pointed ears and yellow eyes hugging a woman close to his chest as he looks at the viewer. he has a curious, almost smug look on his face while the woman looks relaxed and has her eyes closed. /End ID]
perhaps he is at least a little possessive underneath it all...

On one hand I wanna be lenient since I agree that Mira's whole Thing is portrayed unfairly from a mental health standpoint so she should get to not be a boiled down to being a monster in the end, suddenly being "fixed" like canon treats it isn't a great look either but can be done better in a way that she's trying to make up for her wrongs and genuinely choosing to turn herself in while still being the same neurotype....... but then another part of me wants to know why if Ace and Dio and fuck even Saito 'not a zero escape character' Sejima get to be completely unrepentant assholes why should the Woman serial killer be any nicer and come around at all she didn't even go through all the horrors in ztd to get character growth from that q-team only remembers the timeline with no executions to begin with

what is the deal with everyone identifying themselves by their birth sex? i see it all the time. everywhere. and also — maybe it's just a function of the people i happen to see, but it's almost always people saying they're "afab" rather than its complement.
it's telling, to me, what they really think of (other) trans people, because they act as if your sex at birth is constant and unchanging throughout your life. one of my coworkers said they had a low voice for an afab (meaning low for someone who's never gone through a T-dominant puberty). people use the acronym — denoting what sex a doctor determined you to be when you were born — not always accurate because sex traits can be mixed or ambiguous — as a placeholder for present-day "male" or "female."
it's the same thing, i think, as when people say that sex ≠ gender and mean that trans men are female and trans women are male. sure, some of them are, maybe (though I'd bet it wouldn't go over well calling them that), but it's called SRS for a reason; transsexual. with our current technology, we can't completely change a male person to a female one or vice versa — but we can change a whole lot of their phenotypic sex characteristics, whether that be by removing them or switching them to the other sex. that's kinda the whole point of medical transition, actually.
so to me it just, idk, it reveals how people are really thinking of their own transition as well as others', that they see your birth sex as unchanging, fixed, inevitable destiny. that's exactly what transphobes think of us. why does our own community have to think of us that way too?

I've watched one or two recent shows that seem to be made with types of animation similar to Stampede and they felt kind of off to me. I realized they aren't giving things weight. The characters don't look grounded, like you could push them and they'd just skid around. If they kick or punch there's movement but no force.
It makes me really appreciate Trigun Stampede they do an fantastic job on giving things physical weight. When Vash is fighting his footwork is light but in the way of balancing weight rather than lacking it. When Knives goes berserk at the end he's slamming his feet down, he's hitting everything with frenzied blunt force that you can really see and feel. I wish I had gifs for examples but you guys probably see what I mean
