Didn't expect the size to be too large. Anyway! Here is my submission for the contest in game. Glad to get this out of my system instead of overthinking it XD

☄. *. ⋆ Tartarus Trips | Akihiko x Reader | Close Call

Summary: Reader and Aki have been secretly seeing each other for a couple of weeks, however things get tense during a trip to Tartarus. Part 2

a/n: As you can tell by now i have the most unpredictable schedule ever, and the most random characters xd However, i hope you like this because the persona fandom needs way more fics!!

“Enemy advantage!” Fuuka, spoke through her headset. The five of you, all forced into a circle by a mob of shadows. Your eyes immediately meeting his. Akihiko’s stare burned into your skull, trying to find signs of any injuries, whilst the rest of your team decided what move to make next.

“Junpei! On your left!” The navigator alerted your fellow teammate. Noticing the intimidating shadow about to ambush your classmate Junpei, you instinctively rushed to his side, parrying the incoming attack. Feeling the extreme force of the shadow’s strength, your legs gave out and you fell the floor, followed by someone calling your name…

You suddenly came back to reality, noticing your three other teammates dealing with the ambush. Akihiko was checking your body for any injuries. “Are you okay? I told you to stop making reckless decisions during surprise attacks! If you had stopped for one second, we might have had time to strategize before they attacked us again!” He continued on ranting as your head was pounding, the impact of the bash having an effect on your conscious. His face grew serious when your eyes locked on his, the intensity of his gaze melting yours into submission “…and do not ever let me catch you doing something so risky again… you hear me? You cannot handle yourself in this kind of fight, especially if you have to go against shadows when we’re already in a bad position” he finished. After taking in his intense expression, his gaze softened, but it still felt like he was piercing right through you.

“But i had to, Junpei would’ve gotten seriously hurt!” Your words were quiet and weak, unable to match Akihiko’s intensity, but he was quick to brush them aside. “…it’s not your job to protect him. He can take care of himself.” You could see the irritation seeping into his voice, clearly getting worked up about your recklessness “…you cant be using those kind of excuses! This situation is far more precarious than usual, and you know it, don’t you?” You nodded weakly. The pain in your head was growing, and you were beginning to feel lightheaded. Akihiko sighed, “We won’t be able to finish the mission if you faint”, his hands rested gently on your shoulder, pulling you to your feet. You held onto his hand for support as you stood, his grip tight yet gentle at the same time. His fingers interlocking with yours gave a warmth that you craved to feel. He didn’t say anything else, just lead you to a spot where the team couldnt see either of you.

After finding a comfortable place, he pulled away, kneeling down to your level as you did the same. Looking him straight in the eye, you whispered “I’m sorry, Aki”. He stared back at you with a softer look in his eye, you knew what kind of effect that nickname had on him. He didn’t reply, instead, he just brushed your hair behind your ear softly. A gesture that made you melt internally. You looked down. His hand lingering on your cheek “…just stay safe” he whispered. His eyes searching yours intently. As his thumb caressed your cheek. You wanted nothing more but pull him closer. He was too tempting. You could feel your lips quivering as your mind flashed images of him kissing you. The sound of him growling your name in your neck, making it hard to breathe as you desperately tried to keep up a stoic front while also relishing his soft lips against yours. The sensation made your stomach twist and your heart beat faster, it was becoming difficult to control your emotions. The boxer was looking at you expectantly, waiting for some sort of response, but you couldnt give him one. Instead, you closed your eyes, leaned forward until your faces were close enough that your breath mingled between your lips.

Your lips met his. It was gentle, tender, sweet. Your arms wrapped around his neck as you pulled yourself as close as possible. He pulled you closer, deepening the kiss as the seconds passed. Suddenly, your lips parted, and Akihiko pulled away, his eyes being a mixture of shock and lust as he gazed upon your face. His cheeks turned red with embarrassment “Ah… I…. Sorry, I got carried away” he muttered. You shook your head and grabbed him tightly in your arms, your lips brushing against his earlobe as you whispered,

“Don’t apologize”

He smiled lightly, leaning into your embrace “If you insist”, he said. “But are we really gonna do this here…in Tartarus? I mean what if the team-“ You quickly silenced him with another kiss, pulling away only slightly “It’s no big deal”, you reassured him “Plus, i wanna be alone with you for awhile”. You pressed a chaste kiss to his cheek before leaving a trail of kisses down his neck. His arms gripping your waist loosely as you continued kissing him, your fingertips grazing his skin as your bodies melted together. The warmth in his touch made you sigh in pleasure. You both needed this moment. But you knew it would never last. The mission would end sooner or later and both of you would need to leave before the others caught you here. But for now, you were content with staying. His arms tightened around your waist, as he kissed you more passionately, more desperately. You could feel his heart beating wildly against your chest, it matched your own. The two of you were lost in each other completely, you weren't even sure how long the kiss lasted until you heard the others around the corner.

You slowly pulled away, letting out a disappointed moan as your mouth touched his ear lobe once more. He looked at you, his grey eyes filled with slight anger, knowing he couldn’t continue further with you there. “Come to my room tonight.” He whispered into your ear, savouring every ounce of affection you gave him. You felt your knees weaken, your heart racing uncontrollably. He smirked. He knew he was getting to you. As much as you hated to admit it. And you werent going to stop him anytime soon. He stood back up, offering you a hand. “Now let’s get back to the others…” The two of you made your way back, Akihiko holding onto your hand for a moment. Your eyes locking with his for a split second before returning to the group.

Hii teecup!! Hope you're doing well!!

May I ask some a/b/o AltDes stuff please (alpha! Altaïr and Omega!Desmond) because there's not much of it out there :'D

Now I'm sure Altaïr would more open minded and much less of an asshole to omegas then most of the people back in his days..... HOWEVER, please hear me out, what if he wasn't

He could be low-key about it, unlike most alphas who are very vocal and open about their 'opinions' on Omegas and such. He's very aloof when it comes to omegas in general, not having strong feelings on anything (very Altaïr behaviour honestly). That is until he meets Desmond.

Now instead of time travel, this time Desmond was born in Altaïr's time. This means Desmond would be raised as a traditional and submissive omega, but he still fought back. He could be born in Alamut (because Eagle of Alamut XD) as the son of the mentor (who is not Diya al-Dīn because he would never) who trained and became an assassin... sort of because idiot bigots.

Desmond is the best assassin in his entire brotherhood, BUT he's not officially an assassin. His father/mentor isn't as strict like most and let him get away with his antics, usually.

That is until Desmond was 'of age' and that's when it starts getting bad for our boy. His dad became more controlling and won't let him sneak off to do missions or fight anymore. He was to be married to whoever the assassins could use as allies. Basically just a bargaining chip. Desmond would fight back harder then ever, even with one of the best assassins guarding him and monitoring his move all the time, he would still be able to sneak off to continue doing missions to make them see just how capable he was.

He could runaway, he probably should runaway, but deep down all he wanted was for his father to love him again. To look at him with pride and treat him like a son again. (Altaïr would use this fact as an advantage later on)

But then it all comes crashing down when he finally gets betrothed. (Idk who he should be betrothed to LMAO it could be whoever. Someone very powerful that the assassins could use)

And all was going to shit for Desmond but it all went to super shit when Altaïr showed up. Because oh boy, Altaïr was a Strom of his own.

Now I honestly don't know how he and Altaïr meets, but it definitely left an impression on Altaïr because he was smitten from the first time they made eye contact. Man was obsessed from here on out kajsksjssoakakak.

And uhh yeah that's all I've got, plot wise

So for this one, if you want Desmond to be born in Alamut as a son of the mentor but not Diya al-Dīn, we can make him the son of an older brother of Diya al-Dīn instead. Born more as a way for the older brother, who was passed over because Diya al-Dīn was more worthy of the title, to try and get power with his son being the next in line for the imam since Diya al-Dīn was still childless at that point.

Diya al-Dīn would be the kind uncle who tried to do right by his nephew but can’t truly intervene because his brother was controlling and had a firm grasp on Desmond’s every day life. It was going well, all things considered.

Desmond wasn’t a genius nor was he inherently talented but he was a hard worker and he always went beyond what was required of him.

His father rewards his hard work by giving him a bit of leeway, all the while making him drink medicinal tea that was meant to change him into an alpha.

It didn’t do anything but hide his scent… which had been easy to do in the first place because those not yet of age only had a hint of scent to show their ‘status’.

Diya al-Dīn tried to be accepting of Desmond’s wish to be an Assassin even if omegas aren’t exactly… well… only omegas that could control their ‘base instinct’ could become Assassins which was hard for an omega without the help of some kind of medicine that would leave them in pain or groggy.

Desmond, unfortunately, is one of the omegas that cannot be medicated. Even if he drank more than he should, that only leaves him in unbearable pain.

That’s why his father pivoted from Desmond becoming the next imam to having some talks with certain powerful rulers. Finding Desmond an alpha that would take him as their official wife or one of his concubine.

His father was less picky of Desmond’s standing and more interested in creating a political bond with a powerful ally (whether he plans to use this to usurp Diya al-Dīn or he simply wants more power outside of the Brotherhood is up for grabs)

And he finally finds one but Desmond would enter into that household as a concubine. His marriage proposition wasn’t a good one all things considered, the alpha was a powerful one but it was well known that his official wife and the older concubines were dangerous. Newer concubines either die from poisoning or accidents or childbirth and, more often than not, their children would not survive more than five summers.

So Desmond escapes. Maybe, just maybe, Diya al-Dīn had a hand in the patrol routes that night and it left certain large windows of opportunity for Desmond to use.

Alamut, of course, will look for him. That’s why Desmond would try to hide from them.

That’s how he meets Altaïr.

He was desperate and his heat was upon him. Altaïr’s scent was overpowering and he could feel it within him that this was an alpha that would fight tooth and nail to keep his omega safe.

He wasn’t a romantic.

He had already accepted the very idea that his alpha would not love him.

He doesn’t need it.

Love did not bring his omega parent any happiness, no matter how overflowing their love for Desmond’s alpha father had been.

What he needed was an alpha who would take care of him and any child he would bear.

So he used his scent to weaken the alpha’s defenses.

It was Desmond who made it impossible for Altaïr to resist.

And so Altaïr claimed him.

Unorganized Notes:

Desmond escaped a few weeks after Altaïr killed Rashid but before AC Bloodlines. (So late Sept, early Oct)

He was on his way to Alamut to talk to Diya al-Dīn about being the new mentor (he doesn’t want to be the next mentor) and they actually spent Desmond’s heat in a random abandoned home

Alamut Assassins found them afterwards and, by that point, Desmond was sooo thoroughly claimed that there was no way to say that Altaïr wasn’t his alpha.

This also changed Altaïr’s desire to not be the mentor because the easiest way to keep Desmond by his side is to be the mentor of Masyaf with his marriage to Desmond being a way to ‘mend’ the broken relationship between Alamut and Masyaf.

Desmond’s father was not pleased but fuck him, by law, Desmond was now the property of his mate and Altaïr has no qualms killing the asshole if he doesn’t stop yapping about how he raised Desmond and should have the final say on everything.

He returns to Masyaf and… sorta kicked all the Flowers of Paradise. To be more exact, they were transferred to another part of the fortress while the entirety of Paradise became Desmond’s new home. (Desmond and his most definitely growing child)

That is the second headache Malik got.

The first one was the fact that Altaïr returned with Alamut’s blessing as the mentor (which Altaïr had stressed he would never take) and an omega mate (which he had always said would never happen)

Desmond is free to go anywhere in Masyaf but he will always have guards on him because security reason.

Desmond believes Altaïr’s affection stemmed from the fact that he did more or less coerced Altaïr to biting him during the throes of heat-induced passion so he wants a child to further keep Altaïr ‘happy’ and satisfied (not knowing that the mentor title isn’t passed down from father to son in Masyaf, he honestly believe Altaïr is Rashid’s adopted son)

Altaïr was never fully enthralled during Desmond’s heat. He has been trained to have high tolerance as part of Rashid’s plan to make him the ultimate ‘attack dog’. He marked Desmond fully knowing Desmond was desperate and was trying to ‘seduce’ him.

Honestly, Altaïr just wanted Desmond because his scent had been the sweetest ambrosia he had ever smelled and he believed that meant they were meant to be.

And he will not let anyone get between them, no matter who they may be.

Miraculous Twinflame OC/Kwami Submission Guide

Alright! You know what time it is!~ OC time!

While taking submissions for Enchantlings!, I noticed that most people submitted completely original characters instead of canon inspired ones, which I had absolutely zero problems with, but I figured that I might as well make a series completely for the OCs since the demand was so high! XD

Below you can see an example character (Baka self insert who will probably not be canon), the OC/Kwami submission template, a few quick guidelines/requests to keep in mind while submitting characters and the available slots which I will aim to update as often as possible!

For everyone's sake I will try to keep this as short as possible, but first things first, the guidelines.

First come, first served. If I get multiple submissions for a single slot, the slot will be given to the first submitter.

Follow the guidelines. Please. Submissions that don't comply, will be ignored, and I hate doing that, please follow the guidelines TT

The protagonists are in high school, so high school aged (15-18) characters would be preferable, but it's not a hard requirement. Just note that characters who are not in the age range might not be interacted with as much.

The story is set in Japan, in a relatively sheltered and introverted city, that might better qualify as a town. Most characters should be from the city because I can only do the 'outsider who proves themselves to the standoffish villagers' plot so much.

Japanese character names are preferred. Not a hard requirement, but I am going for a silly anime feel for this project.

Backstories can be as convoluted as you want, just please don't make everyone secretly the wizard who crossed over from the fairy realm thousands of years ago waiting for the right moment to show themselves XD

I will allow a few non-humans (fairies, changelings). These will have a separate counter to show how many characters are available to have these species, because I still want humans to be in the majority. (Do note that changelings don't really have any special powers other than being 'off' and fairies who get Kwamis are generally on the weaker side magic-wise and would need to have a good reason to be in the mortal realm.)

Seelie Kwamis are colourful and bright, while Unseelie Kwamis are usually darker with a bit more graphic appearances and powers. Seelie Kwami users don't strictly need to be heroes and Unseelie Kwami users don't need to be villains.

Anons are welcome as always, but non-anons will be credited.

Quick Update: I already have plenty of out of Sen City characters, so please don't submit any more of those!

Update 2: I introduced additional magically inclined role options for those who missed the changelings and the fairies! Their counter is available below just as with the previous ones! Quick explanation for what they are: a Fae Touched is a human who was infused with fae remains through magical means (super unethical). These humans gain some minor fae features and a fae instinct. Since fae are very animalistic compared to fairies, these humans will get strange predator like and animalistic urges, and sometimes they're hardly in control of themselves as the spirit of the fae lives on within their mind, fighting for control over their body. A Displaced is a human who at one point in time entered the Fairy Realm and exited out into the Mortal Realm a different time period since the flow of time between the realms is so unsynced. They might have gained a sensitivity to magic in that realm which gives them a supernaturally good sense of direction when it comes to navigating to locations, items or structures embued with magic (especially of the Fairy kind).

Update 3: And another fairy magic human influenced human variant has been added to the roster in the form of Stolen Humans! These humans are people who have been actively lured away into the Fairy Realm by fairies to acts as servants/entertainers in courts (also unethical and very yikes! Oberon still had some at one point probably before coming into the human realm). They tend to soak up a lot more magic than Displaced humans due to their constant proximity to fairies and magical structures. Since they're usually under the influence of some sort of charm their memories usually fade and become murky over time, to the point of forgetting their own name. The faeries they serve usually rename these humans after things they like (Rosehip, Higanbana, Moon-glance, etc. names you wouldn't usually give to a human). These humans are capable of performing the task they do in court supernaturally well and they have a lot stronger immunity to glamour spells than other humans.

With pleasure hehe Eggman's butt is so glorious and big and fat and heavy 😍

His butt looks very big and round but smoothed out in canon with no distinct shape of his cheeks because if you could see them, nobody would be able to pay attention to anything else fjdbdkgjdgh. He really has huge round shapely cheeks, very wide, thick, and voluptuous. If he lets his bodysuit cling back there as tightly as everywhere else, they're very visible and are absolutely irresistible

He has such thick cheeks that wobble when he walks and he really knows how to twerk and make his cheeks shake side to side, wobble and bounce up and down, and make them clap. If he wants to show it off, he can shake it and really arch his back to make it stick it out and make it so tempting. Very lucky ones will even get him backing it up to them and shaking it on them and they'll fall in love!

If his ass is smacked by surprise from behind because it's just so inviting, he'll get flustered and yell at them like it's so preposterous. But what they didn't see is when he was facing the other way, he reacted with a heavy blush and was definitely into it. After he'll purposefully stand with his ass sticking out or bend over in hopes they'll do it again despite his embarrassed outburst

It will become obvious that he likes it really when he's bent over and smacked over and over, he loves a good spanking. He can't hide it anymore and sighs and moans from pain and pleasure. He likes being told he's a naughty boy that deserves it for being a very bad man, he giggles and cheekily takes pride in his wrongdoing and enjoys the experience of being "punished" for it

However by the end of it when it gets too red, sore, and sensitive he'll get grumpy and grumbly about it again, as if he didn't just allow it to happen and clearly loved it. But after tender loving aftercare with rubbing lotion round and round his sore plump cheeks and soothing it, he'll end up one very happy man again, very blissed out and content, albeit a little embarrassed by how much he likes it

Squeezing his butt and pulling his cheeks apart gets big full handfuls of warm soft blubbery fat that makes him gasp in delight. When lifted up they feel so heavy and when let go they jiggle and bounce as they drop. If he's been denying he likes it, it'll immediately reveal him a liar as he drops everything and turns into putty in their palms - figuratively and literally with how his ass feels in them XD

Being buried under his huge butt and nearly suffocating is heavenly. He says "yeahhh, you think you can handle being smothered deep between my cheeks, feel my heavy weight, and breathe my musk?" feeling very mischievous and shifts and pushes down harder when he hears their muffled voice or cries under him. It's certainly very heavy, suffocating, sweaty, and musky down there

He'll use it like it's a punishment that only he gets a kick out of in some situations but it should really always be seen as a reward, because when he finally gets off them, their face will be red from blushing so hard as much as the suffocation lol and they'll be lovestruck. Then he'll tease them for enjoying it so much and then boast that he's just so hot that even being punished by him is enjoyable

He enjoys shoving it into people's faces with a cheeky smirk, backing it to make them take it more in a more assertive dominant state. But there are times he'll enjoy it so much that he'll completely get down and push himself up to them in a "please take me" way instead. He'll swear that it's always a case of the former but they'll be like fake ass strict dom I saw you enjoying the submission XD

At first he wants to keep the way he enjoys having his butt played with secret. But I can imagine that once he takes over the world and is fully in control and proven his power so he doesn't have to worry about ruining his reputation of feared mighty ruler, he'll bend over or lay down ass up and order it to be loved up and worshipped by servants, where anyone can see without a care

Because anyone should be able to see that it absolutely deserves all the love and worship like every other part of him! 🥰 I mean, who wouldn't want to smack, squeeze, fill, and kiss the glorious handsome mighty emperor's ass (in every sense of the phrase!) ? My first impression - She's so spoiled??

My impression now - She's SO spoiled?? Also not a villain, just obsessed with being in the spotlights, ok. They do treat her lowly though... I'd be annoyed too.

Favorite thing about that character - She may scheme all she wants and even capture the Princess, but the moment the Princess turns out to be in danger, she's always like HELL NO NOT ON MY WATCH

Least favorite thing - For such a smart pup, she fails a lot to understand most things she tries to get for herself to become the Queen won't actually make her the Queen just for being in her possession XD Come on Sweetie, you're more intelligent than this...

Favorite line/scene - See the next answer for favorite interaction, it's also my favorite scene

Favorite interaction that character has with another - She just wanted the attention and applauses... Busby played applause sounds for her... She hugged him... There goes my heart, I didn't need it anyway--

A character that I wish that character would interact with more - Chase. NO, SERIOUSLY, HEAR ME OUT-- Remember how she hated him because he's the Princess' favorite rescue pup? Imagine if the show would keep going back to this, at least sometimes. There would be space for so many shenanigans and side glaring/growling and arguing between these two. Every time they go to Barkingburg, Chase's like "What did Sweetie do this time" and Sweetie's like "HOW DARE YOU INSULT ME LIKE THAT I'LL MAKE YOU PAY FOR YOUR INSOLENCE" and everyone else's like "Omg just kiss already" "Welp here we go again"

Another character from another fandom that reminds me of that character - THOSE TWO GIRLS FROM THE HORSELAND SHOW, CHLOE AND ZOEY and tbh their horses too

A headcanon about that character - She secretly likes Rock music.

A song that reminds of that character - I NEVER THOUGHT I'D ASSOCIATE A SONG FROM "SIX" TO ANY PAW PATROL CHARACTER EVER and look at me now. "No Way". Just-- Just take away the whole part of how this song is about a Queen who was betrayed and gaslighted by her husband. Instead, change it into how Sweetie has always been treated poorly, promised big things but in the end she's just being played, she wants the attention she was made to believe she deserves, she wants to be important, and they just find it adorable and silly from her and keep pushing her down all the time. She's been loyal, she's been there for the princess all this time, what she gets in return? Mockery, laughter, they treat her as an adorable joke, most times they're just annoyed when she demands attention, she causes a mischief and they send her to her pup house jail thing and move on.

An unpopular opinion about that character - If there's a pup in this show who has an awful owner, that's not Arrby, that's Sweetie. She's not a villain, she's literally led to believe she'll have greatness and then they pull her down all the time. I really think the Princess should be a better friend and owner.

Wow!!! I was wondering if I would receive an ask about characters that aren’t my own! Whee! Thank you, anon! :D

I might have listed some stuff that was actually said in the game… I have a bit of a hard time remembering.

Chris is good at cooking because he went through a “Cinderella and her stepmother” type of situation. His parents forced him to do all the work around the house (cooking, cleaning, etc.) and treated him badly, favoring Aria instead.

Chris quickly “fell in love” with MC because they were the only person who showed attraction towards him. (Besides Aria of course LOL)

Chris gets very clingy and often asks for reassurance from his partner, maybe to even a suffocating degree…

Chris loves kids and wants to have a family of his own, but couldn’t have any in his marriage with MC because of financial issues. Also, I can imagine MC not liking children since they’re already such a blatantly mean person LOL

Chris was a virgin until he met MC.

Along with having a huge dick, Chris also has a nice big ass that even Marcus stares at sometimes!!! (I’m not sorry XD)

Chris always moans his partner’s name during sex, says “I love you” to his partner when he’s nearing his climax, and likes to cuddle afterwards! (I say “partner,” not MC, since MC was awful at fucking Chris apparently...)

I'm pretty sure Twitter's filters block "you transphobes", but they don't block obviously transphobic things like "you will never be a woman"

The fact it also seems to tone down filtering for verified users is insane too. Just for ~$12 you can be transphobic on Twitter with no consequences!

I really wanna post here more and post less drama garbage but it's quite empty here and a lot of the people I look up to are on Twitter xD

For context, the Godot social media manager asked on the Godot account for LGBTQ+ game submissions and made a pun about game engines being woke as a reference to a sillier post and she ended getting harassed to the point she had to go on a blocking spree. Asmongold made even more drama, making videos on the topic fully based on echochamber things he read instead of actual proof, and this was the community manager's response (which was once again filled with transphobic replies, despite her being a cis woman)

Now that we are halfway through this Journey, what are your thoughts on this project so far?

I'm honestly pretty happy with the way things are going @pompomqt! It's been great having consistent submissions every week and seeing what people are getting out of their own journeys through Journey to the West. And believe it or not but this group has now gathered nearly 300 followers, which I'm assuming means we must be doing something right XD

It also really can't be stated enough that for as much as Journey to the West is a very fun and culturally important epic (and for as much as people should actually read the book before making claims about what happens in the og classic instead of relying only on summaries and/or contemporary retellings), this is a very long fiction and can be a pretty intimidating text to get through not only because of its length but because of the culturally and historically specific details that can be pretty easy to misinterpret. As such, it is my hope that by giving people some structure to approach Xiyouji in low-key weekly bite-sized chunks and share their thoughts with others that they feel this is helping to make the pilgrim's adventures something fun, interesting, and even educational. God knows that besides some of the extra research followers have provided the Yu translation comes with an abundance of footnotes!

I have gotten the sense at this point that people mostly want to use this reading group specifically to post their thoughts about Journey to the West as they make their way through it, so moving forward I don't think I'll try to put together any kind of contest of film watching event again unless requested. And as both group moderator and someone who hopes more people give Xiyouji a try, I'd say at least right now that's probably for the best. It's never fun to feel like you HAVE to do something or summon enthusiasm for something you're not interested in doing as a member of a group, after all! I'd just like to remind all followers both new and old that you can start the work whenever you want and move at your own pace, and that if you want to submit something inspired by your reading experience I'm happy to accept it as long as it doesn't contain any spoilers from chapters we've yet to read.

Finally, I'd like to end this midpoint contemplation with a few words of gratitude, first, of course, to @journeytothewestresearch for providing the PDFs of all four volumes of the Yu translation that made this book club possible in the first place. And, naturally, I need to give a big thanks to @pompomqt, @nikofortuna, and @loyaltykask for so consistently submitting to this group and having such great ways to relate what you got from your pilgrimages through the same work. Admin note: Due to the absolute trouble my mind is putting me through, Day 7 will be a LONG read due to the multiple (but fun and interesting) processes I've had to go through to get the juices to flow. And... OMG there is no prompt for Day 7!

Well, there is/was one pre-determined, but with poor Terra being tossed here, there and everywhere during the week, Dinh-Yu said to make Day 7 all about him [Terra]... With the centre of it being OC related of course. And looking back in a sense, the connections with Riku have actually already been touched on during various previous days.

So re. Terra and whichever OCs we intertwine, here goes:

SECTION 1A: Prompt / Eraqus

This is an extension of Dinh Yu's Day 7 prompt, and to let you guys in on the fact that someone (don't know who) called 'the cavalry'. The reason Master Eraqus is now considered powerful is because he has now passed on in my timeline, due to the assumption of KH3's ending.

Why do I also include this tidbit of exposure? There was apparently a Day 6 prompt called journal. The way my journal works? It's a magic journal. So not only can I write in it, but others can choose to direct their communication into it if they wish. All they have to do is feel in their heart/mind what they want to say to me, and the journal will magically transcribe their words into it, waiting for me to open it and read it, and even respond in kind. It's basically like Email, but through a book and a person's thoughts, instead of the PC and actively typing both ways.

They envision in their minds; their message writes itself into my book [A to B].

I write back in my book, it gets translated into a thought in that person/s head[B to A]:

~9:10 PM (AEST)

Master Eraqus: “Karla… I know you might be uncomfortable with me, and even if so, we may have never spoken before. I apologise for any preconceived notions I may have given to you through my previous actions to Terra, Aqua and Ventus. But if you can allow me to assist you. As you know from 2022 onwards, I have allowed and I even encourage Terra to walk by your side to atone for the immeasurable pain and suffering that I have caused him and his friends… I think they need you to finish what I started, even though you offer a different relationship, not so much their teacher in the realm of light. While Ven was being checked for bad energies [mind blockage/poison], I quickly had a word into the ear of your newest dream guide, Young Cricket, or as you otherwise call him, Dinh Yu. I have been let in on the fact that he is leading you for KH-OC Week, but not even he can seem to navigate you past this energetic block that seems to be tormenting you with regards to Terra. I have asked Dinh Yu to hand his spot over to me for just a short while, and I will guide you where you have always meant to go for Day 7… As Terra’s teacher and someone who now knows him well [after Xehanort]. Dinh-Yu will be back in the driver’s seat at the end to check your balances with you and sign you off.

So first of all, I see you’ve already put up a pre-commissioned artwork of Terra. Continue to discuss the meaning of that and why you got it done. When Terra was your strongest bridge, what is it that made the Land of Departure feel like home to you? Was it the land itself, or was it Terra’s stewardship? When you’re with Terra alone, how does he make you feel? I have come to understand that you didn’t want to wield a keyblade, but when Terra got involved, the very little keyblade knowledge you gained suddenly expanded greatly. Was it the love between you and Terra that made Riku capitulate from his initial arrogance and annoyance?

I come to hear that you’ve in-fact done numerous artworks of you and Terra in the last year. Share those as well. Not so much as descriptions, or you’ll leave them with a strenuous encyclopaedia. But just a gallery of your art if you will and a sentence or two about those works if you must.

I’m now looking at your Day 5 post in the data, and I see you’ve mentioned Neverland as a favorite spot that you liked to go to with Terra. Maybe now is the time to explain why if you wanted to. Again I don’t recommend you follow on all of my ideas if it makes your work unsuitably long, but I am simply cramming in all these ideas so that this severe energy blockage you seem to have undergone in the past few days can’t disable you anymore. I wish you the best of luck, and please don’t hesitate to reach out to me if you need any further help.

And wait! Just one more thing before I go or at least take the passenger’s seat. Say you were out of all energy impairments. You can still address the official Day 7 prompt if you wanted to envision any future scenarios with Terra… But that one may be difficult in your current state. Good luck”.

SECTION 1B: Commission / Ventus

I knew I wanted an artwork with Terra at the time, but I'm not very good at being organised when asking for commissions 😅 So I thought fast and asked for a drawing at the Land of Departure as we did stargazing...

~9:55 PM (AEST):

Sierra: “She’s going to fail the test!”.

Selvian: “Eraqus has given her the prompts. She just now needs to do them”.

Dinh-Yu: “Ahhhhh”.

Selvian: “Relief huh?”.

Dinh-Yu: “Yes. Such a relief. Has she had that bad a blockage before?”.

Selvian: “They come and they go. But that’s the first one you’ve had to deal with. She’s had the doggie not let go of Riku before, and now it’s trying the same thing on Terra”.

Sierra: “Did Ventus get captured because he was trying to help Terra?”.

Selvian: “Yes, sadly”.

Krystal: “I’ve gotten Ven to help out!”.

Selvian: “You have?”.

Krystal: “He’s feeding her thoughts on the Land of Departure, and Cricket’s [Dinh-Yu's] transcribing them into a document and sending them to her journal”.

Selvian: “Thank the Lord in Heaven”.

~10:00 PM - 12:15 AM (AEST)

Ventus:

“The stargazing, she loved it so much. She tried to pretend she didn’t when Aqua and I were around. But when she was alone with Terra and we had a peak, it was something different. I find it amazing how Terra always got answers out of her that none of the other guardians would ever get. I think it’s because Terra never pushed, and not once did he ever betray her trust by spilling things to other people, at least not without asking her permission first.

So even though SHE thought she was rushing to choose something for a commission, I think she was meant to be shown stargazing with Terra there. I notice the artist put their keyblades in the background. She didn’t want or think she’d be getting them in the image to begin with, but then something spoke to her when they WERE included. She had just finished training with Terra, and that was always an also unique experience in itself. Karla seemed to feel this sense of obligation when training with other guardians, but Terra always slipped her into it in the most subtle ways, and he made it fun for her… Y’know, that feeling of having a job but never working a day in your life.

I’m just getting this abstract thought. So I want to address it while I have it. Terra was originally meant as a distraction for Karla, at least that’s what he came for. We all didn’t know what was up when she asked for Riku in May 2020, and as someone who watched over Riku as it were, Terra had genuine concerns. But you know Terra, he’s not one to be mean to anyone, so he simply tried to divert Karla’s attention but she was one smart cookie. And then as Terra was trying to help Riku, he decided to help her too. Y’know? Starting out as one thing but then diverging into another? Terra wasn’t even Karla’s dream guide to begin with, but he just felt this sudden compassion and need to work her out, like there was more to her than meets the eye.

I guess Terra wedging himself into her life did work out as she needed him in late 2021. Like… As in because he made an effort to connect with her and know her, she knew he was the next best option to add to Riku. But I digress.

Back to keyblade training. Again, what Karla thought was a chore, Terra made it seamless for her. And the way he taught her, I’ve never seen him be so as accommodating to anyone as he was to her. Like his method was brute strength and hard hits, but he knew that he was the only one she’d train with, so Terra made it a point to control his power around her. And like Terra made it his business to watch and learn Aqua’s style so that he could teach that to Karla. With Aqua’s style but Karla’s own magic added, she became a powerhouse and even shocked Terra. But where Terra eventually got her is sometimes she’d spend too long manifesting a spiritual or cosmically powered spell to support her attack, and then Terra would smack her from behind and tell her she’s gotta take the rose-coloured glasses off when reality comes flying at her all of a sudden. I think that’s why her mind isolated her only to Riku these days… Because he’s more head on. So I think it’s about the need for her to find a middle ground and then she’ll be able to keep them both.

Let’s see now. I addressed the art and stargazing, which then led to keyblade training. Oh! I should tell you that Mahna Templestowe is not the first keyblade she manifested. Because like I said, she has universal manifestation and other psychic powers, so with it, the first keyblade she manifested was a clone of Terra’s and we were all shocked. But it just went to show how much Terra meant to her, and I remember a tear falling out of his eye when he saw that keyblade. I heard she got Mahna Templestowe later down the track when her keyblade use became more regular, and at the time, she was doing something with Riku or Terra in the realm of darkness. When she was put on her own to save one of them, rather than relying on them, that’s where she got her ‘personality’ so to speak.

Now I’ve been told that the master suggested talking about why she likes going to Neverland with Terra. I don’t really know the answer, as that’s between her and him. And… Cricket! Don’t peer into her dream journal! That’s an invasion of privacy! Well… I guess we’ve got answers now. So they would always sit on a rock and look out to the sea as Terra held her. They didn’t talk as much in Neverland; that was more just a tranquil moment together, or more recreation as it were. I think as she felt the Land of Departure was her base point, that’s where she’d find herself if she needed to have a really important conversation with Terra. Like she’d seek out his home and he’d give it to her in a sense. In summary, the she’d travel with Terra to all these BBS worlds and each one had a unique feel for a different activity, but the Land of Departure was at the heart of it all, and basically what she associates Terra with.

I’m really sad that Karla’s mind (energy levels) started to attack her in regards to Terra and tried to prevent her from finishing OC Week, but my teddy friend Krystal stayed with me in customs, and she actually managed to talk me out of the astral lock I was put into. So as Terra’s friend and someone who really loves Karla, I’m doing my part to save the day and I’ve been asked by Selvian and Cricket to contribute to her story ❤️"

Krystal running in with Ventus goes to show that the teddies have a mind of their own. Just like I didn't know Sibella wasn't right for Terra, I didn't know Krystal remained with Ventus. I assigned Krystal to Ventus at one point, but never heard from her since. Then when Selvian brought Ventus to 'customs' to try and help me with my severe mind blockages, Krystal came with him! So those two have had a good friendship. And now come to think of it... I have envisioned her doing things with Ventus in the LoD from time to time 🤔

Now I did say back in Day 5 that I had a surprise for a certain someone, for putting his hand up and acting as my Jiminy for this event. Thank you for being so accommodating and allowing him to work his magic:

Now sadly, he'll have to bus Natasha and Erika back home, but I hope you had a great time learning about them and getting to know them, and at least they now have a foothold in Kingdom Hearts if they need to do any future field work there. And with that, Sierra and Erika have to go their own ways for now unless they decide to visit each other down the track, but nothing is planned yet.

Natasha and Erika will have their keyblades hung somewhere in Cricket's dojo until they decide to use them again.

Thank you to the mods of KH-OC Week itself; for making everyone feel welcome and putting on a successful event (it's still here in 2024 😶). I've loved seeing everyone else's works and where they come from. I think we all deserve to have an inheritance [individual timelines] in KH, hence why I link the user to the OC. Including how I bridge myself.

As much as I have hilariously complained because my mind has been pushing exhaustion on me (and didn't like Terra 🥲) , increasingly leading up to Day 7. Here are some of the benefits that I have received from KH-OC Week 2024, as opposed to if I didn't participate:

It has reminded me to check my lore and restabilise my bridge with Kingdom Hearts.

Terra probably would have remained at the depths of limbo without this event. My mind throwing a tantrum was a good thing IMO because now I know what steps to take to get him back FULLY. Even if it takes more than just a week. KH-OC Week (and Dinh-Yu's unique prompts and instruction) pushed me into awareness and progress. I honestly think Dinh-Yu knew Terra was in trouble beforehand; he's cluey like that.

I would have never discovered that someone wasn't suitable for Terra. We have now introduced someone that he'll have a much better relationship with.

Sierra got to spend time with her sister. And as Erika is an ESFJ, she actually forged connections with some of the Kingdom Hearts members.

We have evidence and a stern commitment from Riku that he isn't the grouch we met back in 2020. His loyalty to us is unwavering, and it even bleeds down to the bears. He is personally thanking Dinh-Yu for doing KH-OC Week with me.

Whenever OC Week happens, new lore just pops up out of nowhere, which is why the Days can change so suddenly from their initial plan.

Admin Edit: I just looked at my clock upon finishing and it says 1:23! The subliminal msg I got when looking at the clock was that despite all the mental battle, KH-OC Week has indeed finished on a positive and strong note.

In fics, when Azula is feeling bad about herself and thinks herself a monster and she sometimes is also crying, other people that try to comfort her either take a hold of her hand or grab her by the shoulders and start with "Hey, you're not a monster." Which more often than not, is written to be said in a firm tone. What I don't understand is why!?

Why hold her hand or grad her shoulders when you can cup her chin instead?? Personally, for me it's a more endearing form of making sure someone is paying attention to you. Especially if you're supposed to say something in a firm tone. It's much more dominative, assertive and protective. It's giving "You listen to me, and only me. Forget what everyone else says, it doesn't matter, only you matter."

Zuko should 100% do this and Azula being the good submissive bottom she is will definitely listen to him. Not only because he says things that make her feel good but also because he's being hot af that the moment.

As much as I love seeing Zuko give her literally any kind of physical affection, there is some special about him being more assertive and dominant to make sure she'll focus on him and understand what he's saying. The chin grab is great because it makes her look him in the eye and see how serious he is.

I'm also a fan of him grabbing her arm when she's trying to leave, pulling her closer to him again, holding her from behind and just whispering in her ear until she stops fighting him. Another great one is him cupping her cheeks so she'll look at him... and without even realizing he is doing it, he just slowly brings his hands to her neck. Not squeezing it, just casually holding it, feeling her pulse going crazy.

Honestly anything that has Zuko getting all up in Azula's business is a win for me XD

This dude is wandering around in the entry hall of the Murder Tribunal:

I can't interact with him but he's wandering around grumbling about the Lord of Murder. I had to do some googling - this is Ffion Goldgrind's son, the one I assumed had been replaced by a doppelganger. Apparently he just went down the Bhaalist rabbit hole instead, so I'm guessing he killed his mom. Apparently we could have run into him in a couple different places as part of the "Solve the Murders" questline (which I guess is shut down now that we've faced the tribunal), or if we had taken the evil route here, we would have had to fight him as a "professional rival" (according to the wiki).

Interesting. Let's get the hell out of here.

Back into the sewers from the Basilisk Gate, and following the quest icon, we're going way the fuck off to the north in an area of the sewers we haven't been yet. We run almost immediately into a couple of "Night Blades" and a "Death's Head of Bhaal," who are busy taking potshots at a camp of innocent refugees nearby, but all of whom are not happy to see us and immediately turn their attention to Hector instead.

"What's this? A heretic in our midst? Your death in the Dread Lord's name!"

I actually stumbled past these guys earlier in the sewers but then backed up when I realized it might trigger Orin's wrath early; at the time, though, they didn't actively get angry (presumably because we were still on some level allied with Orin because Gortash was still alive). Now, however, they're ready to jump. I'm assuming this is because Orin knows we killed Sarevok and is Not Happy.

...I hope killing Sarevok didn't get Lae'zel killed. :(

Not a difficult fight but does seem to indicate we're going in the right direction.

While searching for the path northward, I land in a place called "Heapside Barracks Cells" which appears to be a prison managed by the Flaming Fist. It's not what I'm looking for but I'll take a look around in the interest of thoroughness.

Surprisingly, the Fist didn't seem to mind me being there. So I set Hector into sneak mode and robbed them blind of anything useful and enjoyed the satisfying sight of the dead Steel Watcher lying on the floor.

Pretty much the only interesting stuff here is a bunch of documents in a back office, most of which deal with the rise of the Bhaalist cult in the city. There's a note from Devella indicating she requested more resources from the Fist to look into the situation and was denied. Florrick's sentence to death and information about the Stone Lord are also here, which thankfully are no longer relevant but would presumably have been alternate entrances into those quests. Also some notes about the rise of the Absolute, and a message from Ravengard (post-tadpole) ordering a complete lockdown of the Upper City.

There's definitely some documents here indicating the presence of decent Flaming Fist, also:

Hard to say if any such people remain in the force, though, or if they've all been tadpoled into submission.

The Emperor is still a bit of a mystery to me. He does a very good job of pulling my heartstrings, but there are also definitely plenty of documents around reminding that mind flayers are capable of incredibly manipulative behavior so who knows. Maybe I am not immune to squid propaganda. I want to believe he's telling the truth about Stelmane but who knows.

Probably not a very relevant sidetrack but I always appreciate some lore flavor. :D

Yu Yu Hakusho's Black Black Club (Wealthy humans who dabbled in blood sports, & selling demons as as slaves) Along with their "Feast of Human Vices" could or did or do play some degree of aesthetic inspiration. For reference, said Feast was horrific enough that when Demon Hunter Shinobu Sensui found it, his mind fractured and he killed all the humans there. Then he stole the "Chapter Black" a record of all humanities worst crimes & let's just say things didn't get better from there.

Not sure why, but I felt the context was interesting, especially given Gabriel, Emilie & others tinkering with magic artifacts too.

A lot of interesting ideas here, unfortunately I'm not familiar with any of the source material at al >.<;;
