This Tiktok ban is so stupid. Mark Z is kissing DTs butt and he paid Congress to ban Tiktok instead of fixing Meta.

My issue with IG and FB is that it scans all your data and according to that. They cater to your interests. The problem is that YT/FB/IG becomes duplicates. YES, I know, youtube is not Meta it is Google. But they basically use the same data. I HATE their suggestions. I have 15 or so channels I follow on YT, and that is all I watch. They haven't presented me with anything new to tickle my interest in the last 5 YEARS. They are just greedy. IG is basically a copy of my youtube creators that I DON'T follow on IG. It is at least 2 weeks old. Then, about 3 months later, we get it on Facebook. But like the game Telephone, the information has been distorted and is no longer the original information. Facebook is strictly for family that lives overseas. It is completely private, and I have not followed new people in 10 years. Also, if you unfriend me, you will never be friended again. Every few months, I go back and recheck my privacy settings because FB tends to delete the settings to make it more accessible. IG is strictly for brands and famous people. I have a few friends who follow me, but I don't often post there. Tiktok is for fun. Only about 50% of stuff is true, but I love doom scrolling. The algorithm is very sensitive and can adjust what it shows me within 3 posts. I want to see cat videos, boom, now I am sick of cats. I want to see cooking clips, boom. I'm not sure how it does it, but it just knows. It is easier to spread information, but it is pretty much like someone standing on a street corner. If you skip a street, your paths may never cross. On Tiktok, I only follow influencers and some actors. Not brands and not really regular famous people.

Now I am from South Africa, and there are zero chances that RSA would ever ban Tiktok. But almost everyone I follow is from America. Tiktok won't be the same without you guys.

9/3/25

A nice Sunday morning today.

Must say this week was very nice. Very productive, I made some adjustments, course corrections and overall like where I'm heading.

So started the week strong by editing and uploading my sketchbook session video on yt. Organised all the scrap material.

Realised that my instagram account was giving nothing so I scrapped it, created a new one here. Only for insta to take down my first 2 posts for community guidelines smtg.

After that my obsidian decided to not open and stopped working entirely, so all my data went down, even the files on my laptop couldn't open from my vault. ¯⁠\⁠_⁠(⁠ツ⁠)⁠_⁠/⁠¯

Obsidian not working only showed how unreliable apps on internet are, could go down whenever. Shows the importance of using simple stuff that works fine even without gimmicks. Huhhh.

So I'm back to using notepad on laptop, safe and secure just not aesthetic. Will switch to wordpad soon.

Instead created a digital garden in motion. A simple one.

Also updated my blog layout, nothing published I'm still working on it but soon I shall publish it.

Well that was my week. Would love to connect with people here.

I'm think of uploading here more this year as well as figuring out all the mechanics on here! I was going to post more on insta but then they decided to be dicks and allow AI to take all our hard work for nothing at all. I'm also thinking of moving to Cara and Unvale, but I'm going to wait a bit more.

ALSO! This AI thing is really suspicious? Why tf now? On when we're currently in the middle of genocide? and all artists are moving to other plat forms so idk this is just really fucking suspicious to me.

Hello Tumblr, 

It’s been a minute, and by a minute I mean two years. I want to talk about this platform and the need for a social platform for photographers because there isn’t a good one right now. Instagram is over for photographers, I feel like it’s all we have even though ‘reels’ is their only focus. Tumblr is great, I want it to have a comeback but so many people have left this platform, including myself. But I went back and read my old posts, this was a place for me to tell stories and share in way that I find hard on instagram or my phone. There isn’t a place for every photo and story on a website, and let's be honest, people don’t read on instagram. Personally, I still need a place to talk about my work and photos, a diary almost, so I’m coming back, long live Tumblr.

A rant on Instagram 🤬

So I was today years old, when I found that instagram decided to change their layout for accounts, so the photos look 3:4 rather than 1:1 .

Like hello?? Why?? Why do you want to be an app that sucks and gets worse over time.

like I only posted today about how I will post more, like more of my old artwork but it looks like 💩💩 . Sorry my punctuations cannot today with this dumb update. Ughh.

Should I just drop it , move elsewhere, maybe threads will do ughh.

Flying into the weekend like a Biker Scout on a 2012 TRU exclusive Speeder Bike from the unpopular Movie Heroes series. To my knowledge this is the only bike to this day which has the handlebars movie accurately in a vertical position. Too bad that this bike probably was only available for a day or two before it got scalped away all over the world. Lucky for me that I got it here on IG from a grumpy guy with an awesome Kenner collection a couple years ago and even luckier for me that I found this second one on eBay within a small lot of half complete vehicles for very little money.
