The Romance of Being a Starving Artist

The thing about the romance of being a starving artist is that it never truly wears off, does it? That's the thing about all great romances, really. When you have passion it never goes away.

It fades sometimes. And we bury it often. But the "romance of being a starving artist" is not a selection of words strung along by coincidence. It is a romance. Because it is foolish. Romance is almost always foolish and this is foolish enough we put it in the damn title.

But love is worth it.

Art is worth it.

Passion is worth every pain.

Better a starving artist than a well-fed person with no passion.

Been rereading @englishmajor226 ‘Fray’ (GO READ IT)

But it made me think- I wonder if it ever crossed anyone’s mind that Rogue would take in the Professor when he started to become unwell? The seizures he had are all physical/chemical changes in the brain itself not to do with the actual mind? Hmmmm. I wonder........
