was very glad to see this on my timeline today as it gave me a great reason to procrastinate

God it would rule to be an early 70s hitman, cruising up to the location in my black 1965 Lincoln Continental, getting out, black suit, sunglasses on a cloudy day, walking to the back to retrieve the briefcase with my disassembled rifle before heading inside to the vantage point. No expression, fully dead inside. The dream.

Did a sketch of what I think Solasaich from The Secret of St Kilda looks like because of this theory I made

I based it loosely off of illustrations of various sun gods like Apollo and Sol, and his hair is inspired by Ra’s falcon head :D

Blinded by the Sun

introducing my TSoSK OC, Lune!

His name used to be Aster and he was an augur for Solasaich, but he became too powerful and important to Solasaich, and so to “protect” Aster he blinded him, turning his hair white and his eyes a pale, milky yellow. Because who would want a blind servant besides him? (Spoiler alert: Dubrach would)

Seeing this as betrayal, Aster fled and found Dubrach, dedicating his life to the merciful god. He changed his name to Lune and started anew on Hirta. You see, little did Solasaich know that blinding Lune allowed him to see past the harsh light of the Sun and divine the spiritual truth via the gentle light of the Moon.
