Chapter Four
----
There was a time when I didn't know how much words could hurt a person. The tone of a sentence said in a rush–not meant to sound harsh or angry, but intention didn't matter.
Alison always took advantage of how pronunciation could change the meaning of what she said. Her calloused words could sound encouraging or even complimentary when she told them a certain way. She once told me the five of us were her deepest sins. She'd said it'd be obvious if anyone took the time to look.
She never outright told me what sin she thought I was, but it wasn't hard to figure it out. She'd told me Hannah was a sloth, and her diary disclosed everyone else: Spencer was greedy, Aria had to be wrath, Emily was lust, I was envy, and Alison was pride. Funny how that all fits.
I was honestly surprised the first time I'd read it, I'd never thought Alison the type to call her something out like that. Then again, Alison never lied about the bigger secrets she had, only eluded to them, or didn't tell the whole truth. She was good and steering a conversation a certain way whenever she wanted. That was the kind of power she wielded. Or... she had.
--
"Are you ready?" I stare at the church through the window. "Hey Kat, it's gonna be okay," Romeo pats my shoulder from the backseat. I wrap one arm around my shoulder and pull it closer.
"If you want to go home, we can do that too," Elio says calmly, "I can text Mom and Dad right now," he offers.
I just keep staring, there's a reporter in front of the church and another one off to the side. I cringe, breathe in, then out, grabbing at any courage I can find. "Is–" I cut myself off, holding my breath, even though all I want to do is let out a scream. Elio and Romeo stay silent, waiting for me to continue, which I really do appreciate. "Is Jason here?" I whisper, waiting for an answer.
Elio holds the silence for what feels like forever, before whispering back, "I don't know."
I let out a sigh, nodding, trying to hold in the tears that have seemed to want to spill down my face ever since we got back.
I nod, swipe at a tear, "okay." Defiantly, I open the car door and stand. The thin-strap black dress I'm wearing reaches my knees, it was a dress Alison had picked out a few summers ago. It's been three years, but it feels like a lifetime ago. It's a wonder it still fits. The square top is one of my favorite things about it, simple, leaving room for the gold cross necklace I haven't taken off in a year.
Elio and Romeo try blocking most of the reporters from my view, it's a kind gesture, but it doesn't take away from the fact that this moment–one that should be intimate and respectful–is being broadcast to all of Rosewood and the other surrounding towns.
When we get to the front of the church, I spot Hanna and her mom, I hug Mrs. Marin first, "I am so sorry," she rubs my back and I take in her perfume.
I don't know what I'm supposed to respond with, so I smile and settle for, "Thank you." She glances at me, Hannah, then my brothers, and says hello to them before excusing herself.
"Hannah," Elio says, pulling her into a hug, "it's good to see you." she presses her lips together in a tight smile.
"You too."
"Well I'm gonna head inside," he motions to us, "we'll see you two later." I nod, turning to Hannah, but before I say anything, Romeo pats us both on the back, "Good to see you, Hannah."
"You too," she nods. We wait for him to disappear into the church full of people greeting other people, trying to find a seat.
"Isn't it crazy," I kick the air, "I'm pretty sure half these people didn't even know who Ali was?"
"Yeah," she scoffs, "or hated her."
I let out a dry laugh, that turns into a small pout, "is it okay if I hug you?"
"Yeah," she nods, "of course."
"Thank you," I pull away, "I think I just needed to hug someone other than my family today." She nods, "No I totally get that, come on let's head inside."
We walk in, finding Mrs. Dilaurentis ushering people into seats. I spot Elio waving over at us in the front, Hannah's mom sits beside Romeo who's sitting to the left of Elio.
"Hello girls, it's so good to see you." Hannah and I exchange a look. I'm sure neither of us was expecting her to be here–but, if she's here–my heart leaps. Then maybe...
"Would you girls please sit in the front? It's what Alison would have wanted."
We nod and make our way to the first row. My gaze snags on the coffin, it feels all too real now. My frown lessens when I see the photo they chose to display of her, she would have loved this. I don't notice that I keep walking forward until a hand tugs on mine.
"This way," Hannah smiles sadly.
"Right," I shake my head, "I was–"
"–mesmerized?" she asks, turning to face the photo herself, "Alison always did feel like an illusion... sort of."
"Wow," I grin, "that was almost poetic."
Hannah scoffs and rolls her eyes, "you know what I mean."
"Yeah," I sigh, focussing on the picture again, "yeah, I do."
--
A few minutes later Emily and Spencer make their way into the row on the other side as the church begins to quiet down.
Aria still hasn't shown up, I don't think any of us know if she's even coming or not. I sigh, resting my arm on the side of the row, leaving my head down. It's almost 8:00 in the morning, I woke up extra early again to have some alone time, though I don't know if I'm going to make it through the week–not like this.
Aria walks down the aisle, her eyes captivated by the coffin as I had once been. She looks like she's about to cry, and without thinking, I reach out and grab her hand.
We share grim smiles. I scoot over for her and she sits down. "Poor Ali," Emily frowns, her voice wobbly.
"Can you believe what a scene this is?" Hannah scoffs as if she's trying to laugh off the pain.
"Alison would have loved it," Aria sighs, watching Ali's picture.
"Popular in life, and death," Spencer gulps, another grim smile to be shared.
Silence overcomes us, I fist both my hands, taking calming breaths every few seconds. "No–I don't-"
"Today, I think you do." I turn my head at the commotion, watching Hannah subtly hand Emily a flask.
"Is that whiskey?" I ask incredulously.
"It's tequila." Hannah scrunches up her nose, "whiskey? Is that what you drink now?"
I roll my eyes, evading her question. Thankfully Aria's phone goes off, taking away the could-have-been awkward silence.
Spencer tenses up, oh–does she think–? I eye Aria, glancing at her phone over her shoulder.
"Anyone we know?" Hannah asks with a tight-lipped smile.
Aria's widened eyes slowly relax, she shakes her head and smiles, "No, it's just my mom sending me a text."
I press my lips together, nodding, she looks back down, but only for a split-second, and then her head shoots back up again, throwing glances between the four of us, "Emily and I aren't the only ones who got messages from A, are we?"
Spencer's eyes dart to mine, and then something behind me catches her attention, and I follow her line of sight, "oh my god."
"It's Jenna," the others turn their heads as soon as the words leave my mouth.
We watch her brother help her step into a row. Mrs. Dilaurentis appears beside Aria and takes a seat, "Did you see that Jenna Marshall is here, I didn't know she and Ali were friends."
They weren't, the words were on the tip of my tongue, but Spencer said them before I could.
--
Jason didn't show up, I didn't know how I'd react if he had. We all agreed to head to Spencer's house to talk, about A, Alison? I don't really know. I texted Elio that I'd be going home early, well, I'd be at Spencer's but he knew what that meant.
I didn't catch Mom and Dad inside, but after their secret conversation yesterday, I haven't felt like talking to them.
"Emily, Katherine, Spencer, Aria, and Hannah..."
"Do we know you?" Spencer glances at me, but I don't know who he is, so I shrug.
"I'm Detective Wilden... I understand you were all good friends with the victim?"
"Yeah, we were," Aria nods.
"I'm gonna need to talk to each one of you."
I shake my head, "we talked to the police when Alison went missing."
"And I intend to go over every one of your statements–as this is no longer a missing person's investigation." He eyes me for a while, it makes me uncomfortable so I glance away, "It's murder."
I look to the girls, who look at me and each other. Murder? A lot of people may have disliked Alison–but murder?
"And rest assured, I will find out what happened that summer."
He walks away but stands by a tree and watches us like a creep. "Dude went all Batman on us," I scoff.
Aria's seems more frightened, "...Do you think he knows about–"
"No," Hannah says, followed by Emily and Spencer.
"How could he?" I reassure.
That seems to calm her down a bit, but then her phone goes off, and Emily's, Hanna's, Spencers's, and then my dreaded phone pings.
I pull it from my purse, clicking the side button and–oh my–
"It's from–"
"I got one too."

I'm still here bitches. Aug/08/2010 And I know everything. 10:02 am - A
"I'm still here bitches," Spencer forces out the first line.
"And I know everything–A." Saying it in unison like that sends a shiver down my spine.
This can't be a coincidence. Ali wouldn't have thought so–and Officer whatever his name was, can go to hell, along with the rest of the demons in Rosewood.
I had nothing to do with my best friend's murder.

Chapter Six
Hello everyone! Again, thank you for reading, sharing, and liking! I may post another chapter today, but I'm not sure. I might also draft it if I start but don't finish.

Pretty Little Liars may have ended earlier this summer, but that doesn't mean that fans' adventures in Rosewood need to come to a complete stop anytime soon. After all, there's a PLLspinoff television series in the works, featuring Sasha Pieterse and Janel Parrish, and author Sara Shepard is reportedly hard at work on penning new stories about our favorite Liars — including three e-books completely focused on Alison DiLaurentis.
And that's not the only PLL-related tale that Sara has been working on. She has also created a short story titled It's Not Easy Being "A" — which is exactly what it sounds like: a look inside the mind of the OG villain in the black hoodie, Mona Vanderwaal. The story will be available inside the paperback release of her novel The Amateurs, which is on sale as of today (Tuesday, October 3), along with the second book in The Amateurs series, Follow Me. And if you can't wait to read all about what Mona has to say, you're in luck, because Teen Vogue has an exclusive excerpt right here.
In the short story, Mona takes the reader on a journey down her path to becoming "A," going back as far as the day that Ali disappeared. She explains that once Ali was gone and out of Rosewood, she tried to befriend the other Liars, but was only able to secure Hanna's companionship. Still, she couldn't let go of the way Ali had bullied her all throughout middle school, and she slowly decided to get revenge. "I started to think about Ali's whole posse," Mona explains in the story, adding: "They didn't have a clue what it felt like to be teased the way they'd teased me — and they probably never would. I wanted to give them a little education."
From there, Mona describes the very moment she decided to become "A" — and it's a chilling scene involving Ali's old room, lost memories, and a secret diary. The story itself is the perfect dose of nostalgia for fans who are missing the series, especially the early seasons leading up to Mona's huge reveal. Ahead, check out the excerpt of the short story, and be sure to read the entire thing once you get your hands on a copy of Sara Shepard's The Amateurs.
Excerpt from It's Not Easy Being "A", by Sara Shepard:
I wish I could say I’m humble. The sort of girl who fades into the shadows after pulling off something amazing and says, Oh, you know. We all worked hard. But forget that, people. You don’t get far in life by sharing the spotlight. I’ve been kicked around too much already—life owes me. Nope, I want all the credit. I want to go down in freaking history. And you know what? I think it might just happen.
It’s Friday night, and I’m at the Rosewood Country Club, where the welcome-back masquerade party I’m throwing for my longtime bestie, Hanna Marin, is about to start. It’s a typical Mona Vanderwaal party. You know, where a huge party tent is transformed into a casino swanky enough that supermodels and high rollers would beg to play here. There are faux-marble walls and velvet banquettes. I called in professional card dealers from Atlantic City. A fleet of hot waiters roams about with canapés. I even rigged a Cleopatra-style platform for Hanna to ride in on for her big entrance. Basically, Vanity Fair and Us Weekly should be photographing this thing instead of the lame-ass Main Line society blog . . . and I’m the mastermind behind all of it.
I hear a crackle on my headset. “Okay, Hanna’s in position.” It’s a sophomore loser whose name I can’t remember; I chose her from a list of minions who begged to help out with the party. Little do these girls know they’ll be helping out with a few other details tonight, too. Namely, spying.
“Great,” I say into the microphone. “DJ, let’s get some entrance music for my girl.”
The opening notes of classic hip-hop swell from the DJ booth. The tasseled platform, held aloft by a team of muscled models, parades into the tent. Hanna, her banged-up face concealed with a satin mask, sits atop the thing, waving like a queen. Welcome back, Hanna! reads a banner over the entrance. Before I hung it up, I had everyone at school add personalized messages, cheesy things like We were so worried about you! and So happy you’re okay! Girls Hanna never even spoke to signed that thing like they were her soul sisters—but, hey, when a girl is mowed down by a car in a dark parking lot, everyone’s going to rally around her. Naturally, I added my own message, a long note about how I was so thankful that all that had happened to my bestie in the hit-and-run was a mild case of amnesia. It felt a little disingenuous writing it—because, well, yours truly was the one who was driving the car that fateful night. I had to do it, though. She’d figured out I was A. She knew too much.
Not that Hanna remembers that.
“Woot!” Hanna cries under the mask. Everyone from Rosewood Day cheers. I plaster a fake smile on my face until my cheeks hurt. Enjoy it for now, bitch, I think as the guys bobble Hanna’s platform even higher. Because it’s all going to be over soon. And this time, I’m going to leave you with a lot more than just bruises. Let the party begin!
I'm really not one for sob stories. I don’t want you to pity me. Yes, I, Mona Vanderwaal, used to be a girl I don’t like thinking about anymore, a girl with qualities I’m so far removed from I’m not going to bore you by talking about them. And I just happened to live on the same street as Alison DiLaurentis, one of the cruelest girls I’ve ever met, a girl who took great pleasure in making my life miserable. But whatevs, right?
Others might wallow in this sad past. They might make anti- bullying proclamations on their Facebook pages or start a charity, and they’d definitely slouch through high school as a weird, nichey nerd. But I never wanted to be that girl. When Ali and her little crew—Spencer Hastings, Hanna Marin, Emily Fields, and Aria Montgomery—teased, taunted, laughed, and humiliated me, I might have run away with my tail between my legs, but I was pissed.
I didn’t have anything to do with Ali’s disappearance the very last day of seventh grade. Still, the day the news broke, I shut myself inside my bedroom and stared at myself in the mirror. There was a wide, freaked-out smile on my face. I laughed silently for what felt like hours. The universe had finally listened to me. It was a miracle.
My parents were glued to the TV that whole weekend, horrified that the most magnetic, beautiful girl in all of Rosewood had disappeared from our street. They joined the search parties. They went to charity events in Ali’s honor. But can you guess what I was doing? Crossing my fingers and toes. Throwing coins into fountains. Coming up with every superstitious way to wish for that bitch to be gone for good.
Once eighth grade began, a light switch came on, and all of a sudden, my social life improved. With Ali still missing, I realized I could scoop up one of her adrift friends and start a new clique. That’s right: My first instinct was to befriend those bitches, not to ruin them. What can I say? I idolized them. I wanted to be them. Fun fact: My first choice was Spencer Hastings. We were in the same honors classes together—not that she ever noticed me—and our houses were across from each other. I spent every day staring at the large, stately gates that surrounded the Hastings property. Spencer, in all her preppy, purebred Rosewood-ness, felt right.
But Spencer ignored me same as ever. Guess we don’t always get what we want.
Hanna, the group’s weakest and most insecure, ended up a great second choice, though. Together, she and I got hot. Straightened our hair. Discovered self-tanning. Basically, we became swans. Kids I’d known since kindergarten thought I was a new girl, I looked so different, and with Hanna at my side, I had instant entrée into popularity. You’d think I’d be satisfied with that.
Oh, people. All that glitters . . . well, sometimes it turns green the moment you put it on your finger.
The thing is, even after Hanna and I started sharing sushi bento boxes for lunch and shopping out of each other’s closets, there were still these moments when I’d look over at her and think, I can’t believe you. Let’s face it: Hanna might not have been the one dishing out the insults, but she’d stood there like a tree stump and let Ali tease me again and again and again. She never stuck up for me. She never looked conflicted about what Ali was doing. And you know what? After we became close, Hanna never apologized about it. I kept waiting for this big mushy moment between us...but it never came.
So after years of friendship, I started to get bitter. I started to think about Ali’s whole posse, actually, and what they were up to now that Ali was gone. They didn’t really seem damaged by any of it. They didn’t have a clue what it felt like to be teased the way they’d teased me—and they probably never would.
I wanted to give them a little education.
Cue the DiLaurentis family finally moving out of their house. Cue them dumping all sorts of shit on their curb for the garbagemen. Cue nosy me noticing their garbage, which included framed boy-band posters from Ali’s room, which her family had kept like a shrine for four long years. It might sound sort of perverse, but I really wanted those posters. I wanted something from the girl who made my life hell hanging in my bedroom. As a reminder, maybe. As a weird sort of vision board.
What I found beneath those boy-band posters, of course, was far more valuable: a diary full of dirt on Ali’s best friends. It turned me into a whole new person: A.
Yep. I want credit for that, too.

My Alternate PLL Finale - Q
This is my second draft at attempting to write a finale that I would have enjoyed. I wrote this in a few hours. Feel free to edit, add, point out any mistakes, see if I have answered plotholes or created more. We can perfect this together ya’ll, you can change the whole thing if you want. I’m loving all the alternate endings the fans have created.
The way I wrote it is by making it as similar as how the show actually played out, but trying to make sense of the plotholes on the way. Before we start, A is:
Mary Drake = Wants Jessica’s life Charles/Charlotte = Wanted Alison’s life Alex Drake (Bethany Young in my version) wants to live Spencer’s life.
ONE: THAT NIGHT Sometime, before the events of the show started. Mary is looking for her daughters. She finds Charles / Charlotte DiLaurentis in Radley, and finds Bethany Young.
As they get to know each other they realize they have more in common than they thought, they were always so jealous of someone.
That Night Charlotte wears the yellow top Jessica sent her, and planned on killing Alison.
She kills her with a rock, Jessica witnesses this and buries Alison alive, and covers up for Charlotte with Wilden. She knows Charlotte is crazy just like her own twin sister.
Meanwhile, Bethany was watching the girls in a black hoodie. Instead of Grunwald saving Alison, Alison manages to get out herself bleeding so much she passes out next to the grave.
Melissa witnesses this, she had also witnessed Alison and Spencer having a fight. She buries Alison the second time, hence why the body had Alison’s bracelet on it.
Grunwald enters and this time, she pulls out Alison. She had a strong feeling of a girl who would be buried twice, her gift urged her to go save this girl.
And what Jason saw was exactly Alison and Melissa arguing about the NAT videos Alison copied onto her computer.
Also, Bethany hates Jessica, because she raised her brother Jason, and Peter raised his daughter Spencer and she was not.
Also, Mona did argue with Alison and wanted to hurt her with the shovel. She didn’t, Alison was too good at being a bitch.
Mona later sees Alison all dirty and bloody and is giggling inside her heart that Alison will leave Rosewood. She’s smirking knowing this “A” person has the balls to do this to Alison.
TWO: DURING THE YEAR AFTER ALISON GOES MISSING, AND THE DAY HER “BODY WAS FOUND” Mary, Charlotte and Bethany, got the idea of A from Charles and Lucas’s “Graphic Novel”. They became the A TEAM (AT).
KILL ALISON KILL JESSICA KILL SPENCER
This is the motive behind everything A does.
When Aria returns and school starts things happen exactly as the show. A somehow (insert idea here) found out Alison wasn’t in her grave anymore. They plant a fake corpse where Alison was buried.
Maya moves in to the DiLaurentis property, and they discover “Ali’s body”. A was blackmailing Wilden because he covered Alison’s murder and Marion’s (while he was a child 😂) This is why Wilden was after the girls.
The first A text comes up right after Alison’s funeral. Since everybody now knows Alison is dead and not missing, A wants to use the girls to find out where Alison is hiding.
A finds out Mona helped Alison escape that night and so recruit her on the A Team.
SEASON ONE SEASON TWO THREE: AFTER MONA IS REVEALED AS A “Cece Drake” went to visit her as Red Coat. Wren helped her get in. She was no longer a patient when “Charles dies”.
Mona revealed herself as A, because A wanted to divert the girls attention on Mona who has been torturing them ALONE. Also, Charlotte wanted to get into the liars life to find out anything they know about Alison.
Charlotte was using Alison’s diary and what Alison used to tell her about the girls for inspiration for their A threats. Remember, Alison was writing her diary for Spencer when she's "gone".
SEASON THREE FOUR: THE LODGE Bethany was in the black hoodie, while Charlotte was Red Coat. Shana did really “ruin” A’s plan when she burned down the Lodge.
The girls and Mona were inside. Toby and Spencer left before the girls arrived. Toby was knocked out by Bethany and threw his lighter to frame him. Spencer thinks she saw Alison, but she might have seen Charlotte because both were wearing a Red Coat. The important thing is now A knows that Alison will never neglect her friends when they are in danger.
FIVE: IMPORTANT SEASON FOUR FINALE NOTES Jessica is killed by Mary. Jessica was also used as Charlotte’s pawn to research the whereabouts of Alison. Jessica finds out that her twin sister Mary and Charlotte are behind everything bad that happened to Alison.
“I can’t protect you anymore” was Jessica to Charlotte. She was going to expose A, therefore Mary kills Jessica and one Drake got their MOTIVE FULLFILLED.
Wilden was killed by Charlotte because she knew if Alison comes back to Rosewood, Wilden would try to get rid of Alison. So A kills him to prepare for Alison to come back home.
Charlotte is arrested as for Wilden’s murder. She instead blames Spencer as the one who killed the girl you thought was Alison DiLaurentis, because Bethany asked her to torture Spencer, then flees to London where she meets Archer.
A implanted Bethany’s DNA as the one from the corpse, because even if they find out who Bethany Young/Bethany Drake is as Spencer’s twin, then they would think she is dead, exactly like if the girls would find out about Charles, well Charles is dead and no one knows he’s actually Cece Drake now.
Alison is found in Ravenswood. A finally has Alison back to try and kill her again. Phase two of A’s plan now begins. “We’re all in this together. - A”
If you notice A begins torturing Emily more than the other girls in season four, could be that A knew Alison would come save her, and she did from the sawmill incident. Aria exposes Charlotte as being Red Coat but for some reason they couldn't put 2 and 2 together.
SIX: A LITTLE ABOUT BETHANY DRAKE Bethany was adopted by the Young family. She was a genius child, smart for her age and exhibited psychotic behavior. She was sent to Radley where she met her sister Charles/Charlotte. Also, the Young family are British :D
Bethany loves to read books, on many different subjects. She’s a walking encyclopedia, taught herself a few different languages, extremely creative and inventive. She wears glasses. She really is UBER A. Charlotte is really BIG A. Mona is really Original “decoy” A. Mary is really Mama A ;)
SEVEN: SEASON FIVE OVERVIEW
Alison is back, her mother is dead. It was later revealed that Bethany Young was who is buried instead of Alison. Of course that corpse we will never know who it was, it was probably a skeleton “Cece stole from wherever”.
The girls try to link Jessica’s murder with Bethany Young, because they found the tape of her cursing Jessica and Alison.
Mona is on a pendulum deciding how much of a role she’ll play with A, for now she’s concerned about HER MOTIVE, which is getting Alison to fucking leave Rosewood.. bitch ;)
Phase three of A’s plan begins. The Dollhouse. It’s whole purpose was to make a switch of Spencer Hastings and Bethany Drake. The last time we ever see real Spencer is when she was crying in the dollhouse with fake blood over her asking A. “What did I do?” “Nothing bitch, you were born first and I was born jealous” - Bethany Drake. Bethany kills Spencer and takes her place. Again, keep in mind. Mona was always on the A Team but never knew Mary, Bethany and Charlotte was behind it.
Also, Bethany enjoyed getting Spencer to lose her mind, like when she was admitted to Radley, framing her more than once for “Bethany’s” murder. Charlotte enjoyed framing Alison for Mona’s “death”.
The other motive for building the dollhouse was to introduce the girls to the idea of Charles. This would set up A’s final game. Remember, Mary killed Jessica: Mission accomplished. Bethany killed Spencer and took her place: Mission accomplished. The only motive unfulfilled is Charlottes. Charles gave them a big clue recreating the year she won as prom queen.
EIGHT: SEASON SIX OVERVIEW Game On Charles…….. Game Over Charles. Charlotte willingly exposes herself as A. She is taken into Welby, her love Archer Dunhill made sure of that, and that she won’t end up in jail.
The girls are finally at peace and each goes on with their lives. Aria meets that hot nerd who helped publish Ezra’s stupid book. Hanna went to fashion school and is engaged to that other hot guy. Emily went through her fathers death, ignored her higher studies, and continued with bar tending and working hard everyday. You go gurl!
Oh and Bethany met Caleb, who he thinks is Spencer and they fall in love with each other. #Baleb
Here’s What A has been up to. Mary is chilling, somewhere. Bethany is living her life, but she misses the girls, she wanted that friendship. She knows the A game was what made the girls so close to each other, otherwise before A, the girls were Alison’s bitches.
Charlotte is in Welby and for the next five years is faking getting close to Alison. Mona and Jenna are a big part of this plan. Mona wants Alison out of the way because she is planning to coming back to Rosewood. Jenna has always hated Alison for making her blind. That’s a horrible thing to do to a person. I’d eat out my insides from guilt my whole life is I was Alison. Also a great Jenna twist would be that her glasses has a camera, she was always A's "eyes" and she always wears a head piece where A talks into her ears exactly like with Sydney Driscoll.
The plan is simple. Manipulating Alison into falling in love and marrying Archer, summoning the girls to Rosewood at the right time, and making sure Charlotte is allowed to leave Welby.
With this plan, Charlotte can finally have plastic surgery to make her look like Alison. Bethany, who is also an artist creates a prosthetic mask that looks like Charlotte, also Charlotte is an artist based on the “Graphic Novel”.
The day Charlotte gets released. Alison goes to the bell tower to meet Charlotte. She goes in and sees herself (Charlotte who looks like Alison now) holding a knife. The surprise makes her freeze from shock, enough time so Charlotte could stab and kill her. Alison’s body with a Charlotte mask is later buried.
A WON! Mwahahaha!
NINE: SEASON SEVEN AND ENDGAME Bethany and Charlotte want to start a fresh game, a one of a kind game called “LIARS LAMENT” They know their own A GAMES was the reason the girls became so close to each other. So they decided to have a new mini round. The game was not dangerous at all, it was fun, it was exciting. Aria was blackmailed, Emily has problems with Alison, and is surprised old bitchy Alison is back (because she is now actually Charlotte). Bethany is having fun living as Spencer. Hannah was tortured.
Hanna was tortured because Charlotte despised her for accidentally killing her soul mate Archer Dunhill. Also, Bethany is jealous that Caleb could leave her for Hanna.
This time around Emily is impregnated with Alison’s eggs and Archer Dunhill’s sperm. Both were fresh cadavers. This would be a present for Emily, that she could have a child who was half her soul mate Archer and half Emily’s soul mate Alison. Emison never happened, Paige helps Emily raise the child.
Hanna and Caleb get together. Aria and Ezra get together, Emily and Paige raise Alison’s baby girl together. Toby and Yvonne get married. Yvonne does not die. The game goes along as it does. Mary does really sacrifice herself for Bethany(Spencer) and Charlotte(Alison) and gives them The Lost Woods. The game ends on 7x19
TEN: THE REVEAL WE SHOULD HAVE GOTTEN Mona after her MOTIVE to kill Alison with Charlotte was fulfilled, for some reason she actually really felt guilty for going along with the plan. She never physically killed anyone. She was just part of a plan, but when Charlotte and Bethany messed with Hanna and tortured her and electrocuted her for “fun” That was were Mona drew the line.
The reveal would be Melissa and Wren coming back, Melissa shouting at her parents about Spencer, she gives Spencer a look of disgust and exposes her as Bethany Drake. All this happens during Arias magnificent wedding. Where all the girls at wearing beautiful dresses (Isn’t that a part of the appeal to PLL?), every main character, parents and guests would be there, so the reveal would not only be shocking for the liars and us but even for the parents and Tanner (If she was in invited) Even after everything she did to protect Spencer. Spencer really did die. Wren would be involved with Melissa and how Melissa was always protecting Spencer. So when now Spencer was targeted again for the murder of Archer Dunhill, she does her sleuthing and finds out Spencer is not Spencer, she may probably have had some help from a horse and blind girl.
I don’t know how the rest of the finale would have played out. The ending would be Bethany is cornered and interrogated by the liars, they have a silly fight and Bethany falls maybe off of a stage like Shana and accidentally but definitely dies.
ELEVEN: THE END Charlotte who is Alison now, goes and visits her mother Mary in prison, she’s mad 😡 and says to Mary “Mom, Bethany’s dead”. “Mary turns around with tears dropping from one side of her cheeks and says "Charlotte, honey, do you want to play a new game?”
Alison/Charlotte goes and looks at her dolls who look like the girls. She holds Spencer’s doll and pulls her head out crying and throwing her to the ground. She calms down, takes Mona’s doll and sits her right where Spencer was. Mona went against them because of Hanna, it's time for her to pay for what she did.
All the girls are at Bethany’s funeral with Mona. (Now you can dress them in black Marlene, not at Aria’s wedding.)They are burying Bethany into the ground and the girls and Mona get a text message at the same time saying “I’m still here bitches, it’s only over when I say it’s over - A”
Alison would turn and look at the camera, puts her finger in front of her lips and says shhhh, because only the audience knows she’s actually Charlotte, and two can keep a secret if one of them is dead ;)
Fin
“It’s not if we would exist without you, it’s if you will exist without us.” - Spencer Hastings from beyond the grave to the fans. xD
Aria: I had this hero, but heroes are not what they used to be anymore, so I got fascinated with the villain. Ezra: Does your villain lose in the end? Aria: Not sure, sometimes the villain wins. Ezra: Sometimes.
💋
*Afterthoughts:
Jenna gets her eyesight back in one eye and rocks an awesome eyepatch.
Bethany did push Marion off the roof, because she thought it was Jessica, and the incident took place not when they were children, but when they were older. Wilden not only covered for Bethany, he covered for Charlotte killing Alison too.
I still don’t know how Sara Harvey fits into all of this. I can only say that she was a part of Charlotte’s bitchy friends, and really used her because they were friends and because she was blackmailing her for something.
Everything Noel did was to avoid getting the fact he pushed the girl off the stairs and she died.
I think they played out Lucas very well, Shanna, Garret, Melissa would be furious that A killed Ian, I sincerely loved Paige the last season, even though I hated her before, because she fucking tried to drown Emily.
Who else did I miss? Oh yeah let’s please forget Leslie Stone. She was Bethany’s roommate at Radley, this is the first plothole I can see in my theory.
Hope you enjoyed reading this,
-Q

Idc. Q was Moesha’s best boyfriend. THE CHEMISTRY BETWEEN BRANDY AND FREDO, the fact that he was the most memorable, and the way they dominated season 2. Ghetto toxicity aside, they CARRIED (if you ignore the following seasons.)
