My Adventure 02 Epilogue Evolution Lines ~ Part 2
Part 1
If you're here, I'm assuming you have context. But if not, click the part 1 link above.
Let's start with T.K's son:
Tokomon -> Patamon -> Unimon -> Chirinmon -> Mitamamon
Okay, so fair warning, Kai and two other kids in this post share the same Rookie partner as their parents, there isn't much wiggle room when they've already been given In-training Digimon. What can you do, right? So I figured, let's focus more on the animal aspects of Patamon, rather than digivolving him into yet another beautiful variant of Angemon.
Once I discovered Chirinmon and Mitamamon, I knew they were the Ultimate and Mega stage I was looking for, especially since they're both holy Digimon. The problem was finding a Champion level to bridge Patamon to Chirinmon. My initial response was Pegasusmon, and while I do still think he'd be a perfect fit, T.K's Patamon had already digivolved into Pegasusmon in Adventure 02 and T.K and Kai were already sharing a Rookie, I didn't want their partners digivolutions to look too identical. Then I remembered Unimon, whose hair is the same color as Patamon, which was good enough for me. Plus, Unimon is a callback to the one Joe faced in Digimon Adventure when Gomamon digivolved for the first time.
Now, Kari and Hiroshi's son:
Nyaromon -> Salamon -> Mikemon -> Beautymon -> Mastemon
Now you're probably asking yourself, who the duck is Hiroshi? Remember the Dark Spore children from Digimon Adventure 02, and how one of them wanted to be a magna artist? Yeah, that guy.
Takari/Daikari fans, don't kill me! I'm just making my WIP as canon adjacent as possible, and it doesn't seem that Kari ended up marrying T.K or Davis by the end of the epilogue. Doesn't mean things can't change though, after all, Kari is divorced in the beginning of my WIP. 😉
Moving on to more important matters, Hideaki's Rookie was already decided for him in the Epilogue. And I couldn't have his Salamon digivolve into Gatomon and completely copy that digivolution line. Mikemon is said to come into fruition due to the data of Nyaromon sleeping in Salamon before re-manifesting in the Champion level. Since Hideaki is the first of the next gen Digidestined to have a Rookie level, you could chalk this up as his Nyaromon digivolving into Salamon prematurely. Mikemon's usual Ultimate level is Beastmon, who I feel will be more suited for a dark digivolution path once Hideaki crosses that bridge. Afterwards, I felt it'd be appropriate if Mikemon digivolved into Beautymon, (Beautymon and the Beastmon, anyone?) a knight appmon from Appmon who resembles Angewomon. The dark angel look it has going on is a perfect segue into Mastemon, an angel Digimon who controls both light and darkness. Seeing as Hideaki will have the Crest of Redemption, Mastemon could symbolize the embracing of both light and darkness within.
Davis' child:
Demiveemon -> Veemon -> Veedramon -> AeroVeedron -> Ulforce Veedramon
Art by @/hapuriainen, from their Digital Character Creator on deviantart
Spoiler alert, I'm making Davis' son trans because I want a female goggle-head leader for once. Is that too much to ask? Hell, while we're at it, Tamiko's Veemon is also a female. What are you gonna do about it? Trans rights!
Anyway, lol, this was the easiest because this is the only complete digivolution line Veemon has. Karn EX just happened to have the same idea as I did, lol.
Ken and Yolei's children:
Top Left: Poromon -> Hyokomon -> Buraimon -> Butenmon -> Chronomon
Bottom Left: Leafmon -> Puroromon -> Morphomon
Top Right: Minomon -> Kunemon -> Kuwagamon -> MetalLifeKuwagamon -> GrandisKuwagamon
I took Karn EX's idea for a Hyokomon evolution with Inori (their oldest daughter), and thank God for the video, I was originally gonna give her a Hawkmon and try to differentiate it from Yolei's Hawkmon. I have no other notes, it's perfect.
For the youngest baby girl, Kotone, I figured to give her a different In-training Digimon from her brother. Since in the WIP, Kotone's only four, there won't be much of her and her partner adventuring in the Digital World, so for a while they'll just be Morphomon (until the time skip 😉).
And for the only boy, the middle child, Renjiro, I did take Karn EX's idea of using Kunemon, but decided on a different digivolution past the Rookie stage. Kuwagamon is a callback to the very first episode of Digimon Adventure. As for the Ultimates and Megas, there aren't many options without having overlap and while I was very tempted to use BranchoStingmon, I felt that would be a better suited Mega for Ken's Wormmon.
Last, but not least, Cody's daughter:
Upamon -> Tapiramon -> Rhinomon -> Mammothmon -> Goddramon
I literally came up with this yesterday. Prior to yesterday, had you asked me about which was my least favorite, I would've said it was my original digivolution line for Cody's daughter, Akira. Now, it's one of my favorites.
Upamon to Tapiramon seemed plausible, and I originally wanted to use Goddramon as the Mega, but once again, the problems I had were with filling in the blanks. Baluchimon, I still believe, is a very perfect fit for a Champion digivolution, while Mammothmon is a perfect fit for a viable Ultimate. But Baluchimon to Mammothmon, to me, doesn't really work. Originally, I got rid of both Mammothmon and Goddramon and had Baluchimon to Rhinomon (portrayed as an Ultimate in one video game and as a Champion in another, despite being an Armor digivolution) then to Huanglongmon but I wasn't completely satisfied with that. So, I got rid of Baluchimon, made Rhinomon the Champion level, and put Goddramon back where it belonged.
Tapiramon and Goddramon are nice callbacks to Digimon Adventure Tri (with Mammothmon being a callback to the one Sora and Garudamon faced in Digimon Adventure). The fact that they're both holy Digimon is also a subtle reference to Shakkoumon, a rumored ancient angel Digimon and a DNA Digivolution between Angemon and Ankylamon from Digimon Adventure 02. The gold armor on Rhinomon also resembles Armadillomon, Ankylamon, and Digmon.
Next post will probably either be about what my takes on the families/careers are for the Epilogue, what I think the full digivolution lines are for Davis, Yolei, and Cody (and what their crests would be), or my ideas for a Frontier sequel.

On-Air and its Saints: MAISY
"It's the start of showtime!"
Street performance, childhood friends and bonds. And yes, friends even when separated! This is a true friendship story about overcoming weaknesses and hardships, and fulfilling promises made with friends. So, here are the boys from MAISY!
June 12 - Shin Aizawa
Pope St. Leo III: 96th bishop of Rome who reigned for 20 years. Protected by Charlemagne from the supporters of his predecessor, Adrian I, Leo subsequently strengthened Charlemagne's position by crowning him emperor. The coronation was not approved in Constantinople, although the Byzantines, occupied with their own defenses, were in no position to offer much opposition. He was canonized by Clement X, who, in 1673, had Leo's name entered in the Roman Martyrology.
May 30 - Mamoru Kokuyo
St. Joan of Arc: 15th century French virgin and martyr who famously known for her nickname - 'The Maid of Orléans', and is considered a heroine of France for her role during the Lancastrian phase of the Hundred Years' War. She claimed to have received visions of St. Michael the Archangel, St. Margaret of Antioch, and St. Catherine of Alexandria instructing her to support Charles VII and recover France from English domination late in the war. The unanointed King Charles VII sent Joan to the Siege of Orléans as part of a relief army. She gained prominence after the siege was lifted only nine days later. Several additional swift victories led to Charles VII's consecration at Reims. This long-awaited event boosted French morale and paved the way for the final French victory until she was captured at Compiègne by the Burgundian faction. Many years after her death, an inquisitorial court authorized by Pope Callixtus III examined the trial, debunked the charges against her, pronounced her innocent, and declared her a martyr. She became a symbol of the Catholic League, and in 1803 she was declared a national symbol of France by the decision of Napoleon Bonaparte. She is the patron of military personnel and the Women's Army Corps.
January 1 - Arata Kojo
Solemnity of Mary, Mother of God: One of the most important Marian feasts days to start the New Year. It is to honor the Blessed Virgin Mary under the aspect of her motherhood of Jesus Christ, whom Christians see as the Lord, Son of God, and it is celebrated by the Latin Rite of the Catholic Church on 1 January, the Octave (8th) day of Christmastide.
December 1 - Yuna Morishige
St. Edmund Campion: English Jesuit priest and martyr. While conducting an underground ministry in officially Anglican England, Campion was arrested by priest hunters. Convicted of high treason, he was hanged, drawn and quartered at Tyburn. Campion was beatified by Pope Leo XIII in 1886 and canonized in 1970 by Pope Paul VI as one of the Forty Martyrs of England and Wales. The actual ropes used in his execution are now kept in glass display tubes at Stonyhurst College in Lancashire.
January 27 - Inori Kamiya
St. Angela Merici: Italian religious educator and foundress of the Company of St. Ursula (Angelines) in 1535 in Brescia, in which women dedicated their lives to the service of the Church through the education of girls. From this organisation later sprang the monastic Order of Ursulines, whose nuns established places of prayer and learning throughout Europe and, later, worldwide, most notably in North America. Her major shrine can be found in Brescia.

Top Successful Seiyuu in 2019!
Below, I’ll do a quick sum up of why I think these seiyuu are climbing the ranks! Keep in mind, I don’t listen to a ton of their music. I’m just surmising based on seasonal anime and other contributing factors (not all of them happened in 2019). Seriously, this is from the top of my head. I only searched up the spellings.
Top 20 Female Seiyuu
Miyu Tomita’s role as Rizu Ogata in Bokuben really put her on the map for me, and the same goes for Miku Itou’s role as Miku in Gotoubun!
Mikako Komatsu placed high for this and the Newtype anime awards! Her career has remained consistent, and her music performances are strong!
Ai Fairouz just debuted this year with her role Dumbbell nan Kilo Motteru?
Reina Ueda voiced Kanao in Demon Slayer and had major roles in SSSS.Gridman, Wataten, and other various anime!
Sumire Morohoshi took the lead role as Emma in Yakusoku no Neverland, reprised her role as Kyouka in Bungou Stray Dogs, and debuted as a solo artist singing an anime opening for Honzuki no Gekokujou
Konomi Kohara cemented herself as a seiyuu with her leading roles in Tsuki ga Kirei, Asobi Asobase, and Kaguya-sama, made everyone laugh with the Kaguya radio show, and premiered her own radio show!
Maaya Sakamoto’s music career is forever strong. Her seiyuu career is forever strong. She’s still taking supporting roles. She’s amazing. Nothing needs to be said.
Sora Amamiya’s various roles in anime like Konosuba, Seven Deadly Sins, Dumbbell nan Kilo, and so many other things along with her blossoming music career both solo and with Trysail have boosted her even further!
Rie Takahashi’s roles in Konosuba, Takagi-san, and Fate: Grand Order along with her debut in Earphone have secured her a spot! I feel like it was just yesterday that she was in an anime about becoming a seiyuu.
Ayachi was in Gotoubun, continued her work in music, and got married to Kaji!
Ai Kayano has gotten various roles throughout the year including Gakkou no Juliet, Konosuba, and most importantly SAO! Oh yeah, and that isekai about being a reincarnated mom.
Nana Mizuki’s music career is going strong. She might be almost 40 but she’s still kicking harder than most of the 20-year-olds I know.
Saori Hayami is coming back for another season of Oregairu, plays Shinobu in Kimetsu no Yaiba, had a recurring role in Danmachi, and kept her roles consistent. Her music career has taken off even more!
Ayaneru has been getting a ton of roles while maintaining her old ones! Yotsuba in Gotoubun, Ochako in Hero Aca, and Iroha in Oregairu, and her radio shows have been successful too! According to people in the seiyuu fandom and her fellow seiyuu, she has good legs and assets. Their words not mine.
Aoi Yuuki’s role in dubbing the Spiderverse movie as Gwen as well as reprising many of her roles and getting new ones in various seasonal anime like Fire Force and Asobi Asobase.
Inori Minase has recurring roles in Danmachi and Seishun Buta Yarou have really boosted her popularity!
Miyuki Sawashiro hasn’t even been in many seasonal anime recently. People just recognize her excellence and give her one of the top spots anyway.
Kana Hanazawa hasn’t been landing as many roles as usual, but she has gotten roles in Kimetsu no Yaiba and Gotoubun!
Maaya Uchida has been boosting her music career and has a main character role in Yakusoku no Neverland!
Akari Kitou has had main roles in Kimetsu no Yaiba (which has boosted her career a lot), Wataten, and other popular anime
Top 20 Male Seiyuu
Sakurai takes so many roles every season. He’s usually in 2-3 anime in supporting roles. Mob Psycho 100 really solidified everything though. His performance as Reigen was undeniable. Furuba, Bungou, and Kimetsu no Yaiba also gave him major strong roles even if they were main character roles!
Tsuda has been in an unusual amount of anime. Way of the Househusband (even just the CVs alone), Hero Aca, Fire Force, Africa no Salaryman, Nakanohito Genome, have all given Tsuda important roles. It’s never been a better time to be an anime villain!
Shugo Nakamura just debuted as a solo artist. I honestly don’t know him. I think he was on SideM for Idolmaster.
Sugita got new supporting roles here and there. He’s popular in general. Gintama ending probably helps too. He was in Robihachi and some mobile game adaptation this year.
Ayumu Murase has Devilman: Crybaby, Haikyuu, and most recently, Sarazanmai (and to a lesser extent Dr. Stone).
Saitou recently had the second season of Piano no Mori... yeah, maybe his support for past anime like Haikyuu helped? I don’t know. Good for him though.
Nobuhiko recently had his own Accelerator Railgun anime where he went absolutely ham, Hero Aca is popular, and Meiji Tokyo Renka also got an adaptation. He has a future strong role in Kimetsu no Yaiba too!
Kaito Ishikawa has been trying so hard to be in everything. Seishun Buta Yarou, Hero Aca, Dumbbell nan Kilo, Tate no Yuusha, and One Punch Man just to add main roles.
Jun Fukuyama had the revival of Code Geass along with some supporting roles here and there like in Kimetsu no Yaiba. Persona 5 and Mayonaka no Occult gave him main character roles too.
I have no idea what happened to no. 11
Nakamura is in everything. He sticks himself in everything whether you like it or not. Dr. Stone, Hero Aca (future role as Hawks), Furuba, Babylon, just to name a few.
Daiki Yamashita plays Deku which will always secure him a spot, and his role in Oresuki was so well-done.
Kento Itou was in Wotakoi and was a part of Hypmic! I don’t know why else he’s here.
Makoto Furukawa had Kaguya-sama, One Punch Man, Dr. Stone, Furuba, and Kono Oto Tomare.
Yuuma Uchida has his older sister, his main roles in Banana Fish, Kono Oto Tomare, and Furuba! His music career has also been taking off. He recently got a seiyuu award too! gotta make his onee-chan proud!
Kamiya maintains his popularity through his DGS radio and anime like Saiki (which just ended), Attack on Titan (which is just about to end), and I’m not sure how it’s going right now but probably One Piece too.
Matsuoka is in a lot of things. He’s trying his best to get roles, not get a massive social anxiety attack, and not to rely on Nobunaga. He’s got SAO, Danmachi, Gotoubun, and Kimetsu no Yaiba just to name main roles.
Mamo has been everywhere. Fire Force, Sarazanmai, and more importantly Bungou Stray Dogs. BSD is quite popular.
Shimono has Kimetsu no Yaiba! Trust me, his commitment to that series is commendable
Natsuki Hanae has his gaming channel, Kimetsu no Yaiba, Tokyo Ghoul, and other stuff!
Kaji married Ayachi

DGS640 Minase Inori was dear girl!!!!
It turned out Minase Inori was a dear girl!!! She was a listener of dgs when she was junior high school student!!! Why it turns out?? Because she talked about Waki-Ase t-shirt in her radio. She said that she would wear a Waki-Ase T-shirt again! Kamiya-san and OnoD surprised that ex dear girl became a famous voice actress!
The second half of dgs640, they talked about the new corner in their radio!! The name is Otome-rhapsody! There is their song “漢!裸武奏帝(Otoko-rhapsody)”! Otome-rhapsody is women version! They sang about Mote-girl! (Mote means that someone has popularity from other people.)Kamiya-san and OnoD thought about Mote-girl and sang!
The new corner’s rule is listeners think continuation about lyrics after “because I am Mote girl...”
They sang example...
Because I am Mote girl, I have not vase enough for flowers I got!
Because I am Mote girl, snow camera can’t change my face!
Because I am Mote girl, the beautiful ladies in the world are Youkihi, Cleopatra and me!!
etc...
(Kamiya-san sang a dirty joke.haha but I can’t write here!)
If listeners send many messages for the corner, they might sing the song!!haha
Let’s think about Mote girl, and send message!!

The course of true love never did run smooth, and this is especially true when curses are involved! A new preview video, a new key visual, new cast members, and the OP / ED theme song performers have all been revealed for The Duke of Death and His Maid (known in Japan as Shinigami Bocchan to Kuro Maid), an upcoming TV anime based on the romantic comedy manga by Inoue about a young nobleman who suffers under a curse that causes anything he touches to wither and die and the maid who loves to tease him.
The new cast members include:

The story of The Duke of Death and His Maid is described as follows:
A nobleman named Bocchan--. When he was a child, he was cursed by a witch with a curse that would make everything he touched die. The curse causes him to be rejected by those around him, and he has spent his days alone in a large mansion deep in the forest. The maid who serves him is Alice. But Alice's presence is the source of his biggest worry because she routinely sexually harasses him...! Alice is always seducing Bocchan as close as she can get. Bocchan loves her but is not even allowed to hold her hand. Will their pure love really bear fruit...?
The Duke of Death and His Maid is directed by Yoshinobu Yamakawa and features animation production by J.C. Staff. The series is scheduled to broadcast in Japan according to the following TV schedule:
