Camouflage (カモフラ) - UraShimaSakataSen (浦島坂田船) [Romaji/Eng Translation]

UraShimaSakataSen (浦島坂田船), or USSS for short, is a group of 4 utaite singers; Uratanuki, Shima, Aho no Sakata and Senra. I am absolutely in love with basically all their covers and original songs. Sadly they don’t have a lot of translations available that I could find. I prefer to have things in a clear overview, which is why I decided to do my best to translate their songs the best I can.

One thing of the things I love about this group, other than their amazing voices and the balance their songs have, is the fact that it is very easy to differentiate the members! They all have their own designated colour, just in case you cannot keep them separated by their other characteristics.

Uratanuki = Green (also, the Tanuki is always a dead giveaway as well) Shima = Purple Sakata = Red Senra = Yellow

Quick disclaimer; I am in no way fluent in Japanese, not even close. BUT I wanted to have a written translation of this song and the romaji in one place, so I did research and translated it in a way that I like (if that even makes sense). I used the translation from the original MV and lots of dictionaries to find out the meaning I personally thought made the most sense.

Please don’t take my word for it and assume this is actually a 100% accurate translation. I would love to hear any improvement points to be honest, if anyone is better at Japanese than me (which is very easy) I welcome any comments!

Gao (ガオ) is a Japanese onomatopoeic word; it is the SFX for beasts crying, like lions. It can be translated to growl or roar in English. In the translation I prefer to keep it as the original sound, as I think it suits it better.
