11, 29, 50 (*bags of holding don't count)
11. Do they have any special diet requirements? Are they a vegetarian? Vegan? Have any allergies?
He doesn’t have any particularly special dietary needs, and he’s never had the luxury of being able to be a vegetarian or vegan, so he’s hardly picky… But he is  terribly allergic to tree nuts, a fact he learned, unfortunately, right in the middle of the school cafeteria. It isn’t bad enough to kill him, thank God, but it’s bad enough to give him a very nasty week, so he avoids all nuts— that aren’t peanuts! those aren’t real nuts!— on principle.
Amber-Marie, however, loved nuts, making grocery shopping very difficult. Did you know you can trigger an allergic reaction through touch?
He didn’t.
29. What do they do when they find out someone else’s fear? Do they tease them? Or get very over protective?
Cáel doesn’t especially like to exploit his marks fears — it feels like such a low blow, you know?
…That said, he’ll use every tool he has in his tool kit to spin his cons and survive, and if he can use a person’s fears against them to make it happen, then so be it. It’s ugly, but the world he lives is no uglier. They would do no less to him — worse, in fact. They wouldn’t simply stop at silly innuendo, oh, no, that would be no fun.
If you’re one of the few he deeply cares about, however, now that’s a very different story. He still remembers poor Deirdre asking him, every single night, if he could keep the nightlight on. Politely, of course, because she didn’t want to be a bother, and she knew he couldn’t sleep with it on, so, only if he was okay with it, and even if he wasn’t, well, that was okay too.
He kept it on, of course. Every night, he did.
(He’s also, to this very day, kept his ex-wife’s secret that she’s dreadfully, just dreadfully, afraid of dolls.)
50. If they could only take one bag of stuff somewhere with them: what would they pack? What do they consider their essentials?
Cheeky, aren’t you? Well, he didn’t always have that bag, you know. He’s not so old that he’s forgotten how to ‘rough it’. Now, let him think…
One (1) canteen. This one is absolutely essential. You can go a day or two without food, but without any water, you won’t last even a couple of hours.
Five (5) rations, or, well, something like that, with no nuts. Even then, he’s hardly picky. A week with hives and puffy eyes is better than starving to death.
One (1) sleeping bag. This is kind of a luxury, but trust him, invest in this one. You’ll thank him later.
Two (2) change of clothes, if you can manage it. Try to keep one of them clean. People won’t listen to a dirty bum. The other one is for heavy weather.  No more than that, though, don’t get ahead of yourself.
One (1) map of the surrounding area, naturally. Expect to swap this one out a lot.
One (1) pair of binoculars. If the sight works with glasses, it’ll work with these. A lifesaver.
One (1) pair of glasses, also, he guesses, fine. Don’t break them.
Three (3) cold iron horseshoes. Obvious.
One (1) gold pin. Also obvious.
Four (4) bells. Again, obvious, and a good warding focus, to boot.
Five (5) lockpicks. He doesn’t have to explain this one, does he?
One (1) disposable camera. Not a luxury, trust him. You will need this.
At least two (2) sets of forged identity papers, though more is always better. Swap out as necessary.
One (1) pair of knitting needles, with at least one (1) ball of yarn, though, again, more is always better. Making new clothes on the go isn’t a luxury, it’s a need, especially in winter.
Some books, if you can find some, but don’t get greedy about this. You can’t afford the space.
Whatever hot goods you’ve got on hand, but… try not to keep these for very long, yeah? They’re not called ‘hot’ for nothing.
One (1) ring. You better not lose this, if you know what’s good for you.
One (1) picture of Deirdre and Ferdiad. Do not ever lose this. Don’t ever forget.

Hello! I hope you don’t mind me collating this into a single post because I would end up writing up answers with a lot of overlap in the process.
(Also I read your guys’ apps, got very intrigued, and then proceeded to catch up to The Promised Neverland in a single day, Thanks for giving me a new story to get into! In return I’d like to recommend 7Seeds by Yumi Tamura because I feel like the manga’s current arc will resemble that series.)
But yes, I am very fascinated on how the general premise and the means they have decided to conquer that premise can translate into similarities between them - having to rely on their own wits and tactics in order to defeat a society that oppresses their life and freedom.
I first thought that Norman was more similar to Goro due to his amicable demeanor, but Goro’s a bit more cynical and then when Ray revealed that he’s been plotting a six, maybe twelve year long plan for freedom that doesn’t exactly involve helping himself in the process I had to reevaluate my conclusion, haha.
I think if they ever get to be friends - which would take a while, because all three of them are generally distrusting of strangers - Goro would treat them as intellectual equals despite their age. He would enjoy having company over people he can throw his theories regarding the city about, or just have a good match of chess with play with.
(PS: I swear Norman better be alive my heart would break otherwise)

☘ : Does your muse believe in luck? How about fate?
“I think luck is one of those things that exists regardless of whether or not you believe in it. It is usually people that mark happenstance or chance as either lucky or unlucky, yet the two are generally the same. Fate, on the other hand...”
Tumblr media
“Fate is inexorable, I have seen it time and time again. What is destined to happen, will happen. I have seen incredibly desperate measures taken in an attempt to fight fate and not only is it foolish, it is sinful.”
❀ : What is your muse’s opinion about flower crowns?
Tumblr media
“Crowns are supposed to last”
εїз : How does your muse feel about bugs and insects?
“They are life and thus interesting in their own right. They appear more simple than most creatures, but I find their almost mechanical nature to be quite relaxing. They know no fear and operate entirely off instinct yet what some of them are capable of is quite inspiring.”
Tumblr media
“Also they look armoured and I enjoy that.”

▄ = telling them a joke
The joke wasn’t particularly funny, and Daud wasn’t the kind of person to let humor get the best of him. Maybe it was his past; maybe his heart and soul were so damn scarred from his time in Dunwall that nothing could make him really, truly, honestly laugh anymore.

Still, the corners of his lips twitched upwards, and he let out a snort through his nose. When it came to the old Knife, that was about the best one could ever hope to get out of him; a true miracle.

“....U...uwaaa...”
Off a corner of a busy street, down a somewhat secluded alley, a girl hugs her knees in an attempt to make herself as small as possible, as if hiding from someone.
The girl pulls her hood down, hiding her eyes, as she trembles slightly and mutters something illegible to herself
(”Please don’t come this way, please don’t come this way...”)
Lightly, her ears catch the sound of footsteps approaching. In a moment, she’s as stiff as a mouse who’s been caught by the cat, as if just by being still she could will away the person approaching.
The footsteps stop in front of her. She feels someone looking down at her--

Oh, this was it! Adults around these parts were seriously full of themselves! What did they think children were, babies?! Well, this particular child would have them know that not all children were babies at all. Not him. Not Norman. Not any of his other siblings. They may have been breed to be smarter than any average human, but that’d change nothing. Rather, Ray would use it against them. He’d show them. He’d show them all. Of course, doing that sort of thing alone would prove to be difficult, even for Ray. The monetary gain meant nothing to him. He didn’t mind if he wasn’t the one to win this thing either. Even if he was just second or third, it’d be better than having to be continuously looked down upon! If he ranked at all, that’d be enough to show those adults that children were not to be underestimated.
There were, of course a few options at hand: to call for his servant, to stop some random stranger and get them to help him somehow, or ask Norman for help. Ray had no real intention of getting too friendly with his servant, so that was immediately out. Talking to anyone at all that didn’t know him well, was also out. Along with the fact that playing some random bystander into doing his bidding wasn’t the easiest thing to do. Which meant all that was left was Norman. His own brother would never refuse to help him. Well... as long as he knew how to answer the phone, that is.
Taking out the Triplicata from his pocket, Ray would navigate the cube to make a call to his sibling. As it rang, Ray could only hope one thing: Please tell me you’ve figured out how to use this function, Norman!

There were plenty of things that didn’t make sense to him right now. Being brought here, being told the world has ended, realizing that every time he tried to actually recall such a thing all he got was a massive pain in the brain, and the fact that he was supposedly now a ‘servant’ who would eventually need to find his ‘master.’
This all seemed like it would be one big, great prank, quite frankly. But it wasn’t--he didn’t know how he could say for sure, there was just something in his gut telling him that was the truth.
He’d come to the conclusion around ten minutes or so now, that he’d not worry too much about all those details right now. Yes, he was interested, of course he was, but Loki was fairly certain he’d have to pick out the right people to ask. And since he hadn’t any clue at all who these right people would be, he might as well focus on other tasks. Like finding those he knew, and doing what he did best: messing around with people.
Hence, why he was now hanging upside down from a pole attached to some weird-looking building, one that he’d been perched upon moments before waiting for a prime target. There was a mischievous smile on his face as he gazed down to his intended victim--a kid, he thinks, but that didn’t matter. So long as he could get some info, and maybe a bit of fun from this situation, it doesn’t matter.

“Heeey, you ✩! Now that I’ve gotten your attention, you can hang around while the great trickster god asks you some questions, right~?”

Kid, meet Squid
@inherlikeness
It was definitely too early to be awake—never mind that their ‘early’ is most peoples ‘midmorning’—and having failed in going back to sleep, they decided to go get a coffee. Made themselves all human-y and everything! And then, on the way to whichever some-what busy coffee place they had decided on, they failed to notice a very big dog. They were then pushed over by said dog, and stumbled backwards… into a trashcan. God only knows where the mutt was running off to, either—just that it was big and graceless. And dumb. Stupid and dumb. They’d be glad to never see it again.
They sighed. They were tired. Tired of everything.
They sunk a bit further into the can—it was going to be troublesome to escape anyways, they couldn’t really make their predicament worse. Truly, the only thing they felt could make things worse, was if someone was there to witness the whole mess!
…And of course, that was indeed the case. Damn it all.
Not that the individual in question was terribly impressive, of course. A skinny little thing, dressed in white and sporting a strange tattoo. An interesting sight, yes—and he was a master on top of that—but that didn’t change the fact that he was a kid.
Actually, that probably made it worse. Definitely worse, actually.
But it wasn’t like they were going to show some form of concern for his predicament. They were feeling a little too sour for that.
“Are you going to laugh at me, or just stand there and gawk?”

Aphrodite, Thoth, Rhiannon
Aphrodite: What do you think of yourself?
Tumblr media
“Hm. Good question! Ahh… I think I’ve done well. I’ve done everything I wanted to do, and I’ve become the man I always wanted to be- of course, not without my fair share of mistakes and failures, but ultimately, I’m proud of who I am. And I know I can say that honestly. I never put a lot of thought into it, I am who I am.”
Thoth: Do you like to read/write?
Tumblr media
“I’m certainly not a writer. Just isn’t my thing, unless you count casting Runes. As for reading- ehhh, it depends. There’s a lot I’d rather do with my free, but I wouldn’t say no to grabbing a book if it gets my attention. I did read a lot when I was learning magic, so there’s that.”
Rhiannon: Have you ever been betrayed?
Tumblr media
“Yes, and every time it happens I take the bastard who did it down with me.”

God/Goddess Asks!
What is the most terrifying thing you've ever done?
“I allowed someone important to me to die.”
He remembers every shake of his legs. He remembers the heat of the flames. He remembers the fear drowning him. He remembers the smile on his face, the placid resignation to fate. He remembers the yelling and the screaming, the hatred that followed. He remembers the look of shame upon his father’s face as he was denounced and exiled.
Do you have a bad reputation?
“And what gives you that impression?”
An outright denial isn’t like him, nor could he bring himself to lie on this front either. He tried to reinvent himself to wipe his slate clean. He’s had mild success with this, but his reputation has gone up and down in waves. He misses being a relative unknown. Now he’s spoken of in many circles, given his association with the prince.
Do you generally give good advice?
“Where it is warranted. Few take kindly to unsolicited advice.”

vs. Deep Thought: Game 1
@inherlikeness
If you wish for more information, it was probably best to look elsewhere.
Somehow he always found his way back here. Huddled away in the corner of some library or another, pouring over a tower of books. Funny, wasn’t it? Maybe it was true. Maybe he really was a creature of habit.
But what else could he do? He was fighting a war here, a cold war, and no war could be won in the dark.
He had done it on a very, very, very cautious whim-- too obvious, too hopeful, too naive, too-- but the whim turned out to be a good one. A few critical key words, master, servant, command seal, GRAIL, and he found more than he could have ever hoped in the database. A lot of it junk, true, total nonsense that he couldn’t make heads or tails of, but Cael could make enough sense of it all to know exactly what kind of situation he’d gotten himself into.
He had scribbled down one entry in particular in his new trinket, which he better understood now as a sort of glorified tablet, more than anything else. It had explained everything quite simply -- though it gave him little confidence to read.
The Holy Grail War is a competition that decides the ownership of the Holy Grail through intense battle royale. While there have been many conflicts over supposed Holy Grails in the past, this term refers to those specifically based around Masters, usually proficient magi, summoning Servants, Heroic Spirits brought forth as familiars, and meeting in battle until only one pair is left to claim the Holy Grail.
He’d be flattered, if it weren’t his own life on the line.
Whether or not it was the Grail, the Grail that so many had thrown their lives away for, he hadn’t found a clear answer to yet, with vague answers and vaguer explanations, but one thing was very clear -- real or not, people were still throwing their lives away just to have the chance to wrap their hands around its brilliant stem, even if only for a moment. Because all these wars, all the summaries that he had read, mentioned only one winner.
One winner, one survivor.
Just one.
Jesus,” Cáel breathed to himself, “You’ve really gotten yourself into it this time, haven’t you?”
Had he, though? He couldn’t say for sure, his captors hadn’t said anything about a war... yet. Still, he couldn’t ignore the coincidences. The words, the phrases, it all came together too cleanly. Cáel shook his head, pocketing the Triplicata-- which, in a blink of an eye, was now a cute and completely innocuous key chain-- back into his jacket. No time to think about it. He couldn’t think about it. It’d swallow him up if he let it fester in him. Drag him down, down, down, down into the rot, and the cold, and the emptiness, and-- He needed to find more information about these wars, is what he needed. Pushing himself out of his chair, he stood up from his little corner desk, and made his way to one of the computers, or, well, where he thought one of the computers were... until he saw a boy, deep in some kind of thought, looking up at a shelf that was much too high for him to reach. Ah, poor kid, probably wondering how he could climb up the shelves to nab it. Lord knows he’d been there himself!
It’d be easy for Cáel to grab it now, of course, but... children weren’t usually fans of adults, strange adults, no less, butting into their business. Even still, it felt cruel to leave him hanging, especially when Cáel had spotted a stepladder only a couple of aisles over. He made his way over, making sure to be very obvious and very visible in his approach. Didn’t want to spook the poor boy -- if there’s one thing Cáel hated more than adults butting in, it was adults scaring the living daylights out of him, something they all just loved to do. “Ah, they always put the best books on the highest shelf, don’t they?”  Cáel mused, hand under his chin, as he studied the hated shelf. Then he looked down, seeing  blonde hair, baby blues, gentle golds, soft ripples on a quiet lake, the smell of camellias... must be a real sweet kid. What was he doing here? This, this bleedin’ arena, this violent war, was no place for children. His parents are probably somewhere around here, He thought to himself, remembering all the perfectly ordinary people he had seen, Don’t think too much about it. Something slithered in his gut. Something slimy. Something horrible.
Don’t.
“You know, I think I saw a ladder in that aisle down there...”

☫ Do you like to play with your opponents or finish them off neatly and quickly?
The latter! He’s here to be efficient in his job, it’s not something he actually does for ‘fun’. Besides, if he were to take his time in defeating his opponent that would just give them time to possibly bounce back, rendering his attempts to be a complete failure. It’s more practical to try and finish it as quickly as possible.

Character Development Questions: Hard Mode
25. How quick is your character to suspect someone else? Doesthis change if they are close with that person?
She wouldn’t admit it, but she rather enjoys being suspicious. It gives her an excuse to snoop and benosy (her favorite pastime). And once she does get close with a person, shedefinitely becomes a lot more suspicious. Being close with them gives her theopportunity to learn more of their quirks and habits, which in turn providesher with hints as to whether they’re trying to hide something from her. Which, of course, she can then investigate to her heart’s content.
29. What did your character dream of being or doing as achild? Did that dream come true?
Sophie didn’t really have any dreams as a child. She mighthave imagined becoming an adventurer, something fantastical like what childrenoften hope to be, but the fact of the matter is that she quickly embraced herfate as the oldest child who would receive nothing but misfortune. Her sisterswould go on to apprenticeships at the best bakery in the city, with a veryaccomplished and well-known witch, and Sophie just knew that she would just…alwaysbe working at the family hat shop. It’s just always been something that sheknew.
Obviously, that dream she had abandoned so quickly – of beingsomething more than that – managed tocome true.
40. How does your character treat people in service jobs?
Gently but firmly. She’s been in their position for years, between the hat shop and the flower store, and while she’s more than understandingconcerning the tiredness and irritability that comes with long hours in retail, that doesn’t give them a free pass to be incompetent.

“Well, I usually try to target their weaknesses, knock them down, then we go for an All-Out Attack--”
       > ...Their expression seems to indicate that wasn’t the answer they were looking for. You’re not sure why, All-Out Attacks usually end most random encounters pretty quickly.
☠ What kind of death do you expect on the battlefield?
Tumblr media
“...I’m not sure I understand the question.”
       > There’s no real such thing as a ‘glorious death’ or a ‘pitiful death’. Everyone dies all the same, don’t they? It’s everything you do before that--the life you lived before you died--that matters most. You think that’s the case, anyways.
