made a piece with the initiative and sketch by @ingydar-g ! thank you so much for sharing your sketch and lineart, it was really fun to work with those as the base! you can see the time lapse of my progress on it under the cut (potential cw for slight flashing at the end of it)

this was originally a gif but it was like 18 mb so i converted it to video lol

my drawing process is honestly very messy and inefficient. i use textured lineart which means i cant easily use the bucket tool, but i hate the way the default pen looks and i don't really like any other more fancier options either. this lineart kinda sucks bc i didn't refine it as much as i sometimes would, and the colouring wasn't as refined either. well im sick anyway, so this is the best i could do in like a couple of hours. also at the end of the speedpaint, even though you cant see but what im doing is tweaking the bg color & phils skin tone to be a little better, the bg a bit more saturated & dark and phils face not so blue. (i think an example of my lineart being at its peak is actually a piece i did for last edition of phanzines, the one with catboy maid dan and catboy butler phil. anyway, art rant over)

on a real note: this is my first time posting art (it's the first time i've actually really drawn anything in absolutely ages!) and it's so scary. there are So many extremely talented artists here and it's hard not to compare myself. I finished this ages ago but was too scared to post it lol. however it's also really hard to not feel inspired by you guys so :) it's very far from perfect but it's progress! maybe if i keep at it in like 5 years i will be able to actually visualize the many Situations I wanna put these dudes in

Truly want to know what would have happened had Dan have something fall out due to a boner. Like we all know how male anatomy works they can’t control it. Honestly if someone pitched the stream to me I’d say it’s too risky. We literally have no idea if Dan was wearing underwear or not because there’s so much proof he wasn’t and so much proof he was. But like come ON dude. He can’t control that. If he wasn’t wearing underwear I’m truly shocked nothing fell out or bulged. The simplest shifting of the skirt that could’ve happened is just like ??? There could have been BALLS

this whole ask is making me hysterical LMAO because these are all legitimate concerns 😭😭🤣🤣 to be fair to dnp and their professionalism, i do think dan WAS wearing a protective layer underneath that skirt in some way shape or form, most likely underwear. he did say earlier in the stream, when phil suggested he wear pants (insane), that he WAS wearing pants already, etc. and i always catch glimpses of like a short black layer right at the top of sister daniel's skirt slit, even in the baking video iirc. so. they have SOME preservation instinct, thank god.

the threat of a boner is absolutely hilarious, though, and definitely a..... a big hazard. do we remember if dan stood up anytime soon after father philip slapped his hand and called him bad?

@ingydar-g 's art initiative has come at the perfect time for me, as I've just restarted doing digital art!! it gave me a lovely burst of motivation and was a really great challenge in poses and anatomy for me (probably the most complex pose I've done ever haha.) so tysm!! speedpaint under the cut :)

I swear I've had to draw that sofa more than actual dnp LMAO. but I use the pencil #1 on ibispaint, which is a slight pain when it comes to colouring but I prefer it to the default for lineart. this was done in the space of a couple hours yesterday, having not done digital art for a year or so, but I'm pretty happy with it!! also I had to add a fun background, I didn't have it in me not to
