Domani i dettagli, ma oggi le buone notizie esistono

Berlino vuole qualcosa da me? Vuole darmi qualcosa? Che cosa? Perché?

Oggi ho ricevuto l’anticipazione di una proposta. Un contratto piccolissimo, per una parentesi piccolissima di una vita piccolissima che inizia da un punto, e chissà dove va. A quanto pare quel biglietto di ritorno è stato un azzardo di malavoglia, ma non ho intenzione di lamentarmene - nemmeno con la mia vittima preferita: me. Domani i dettagli, ma oggi c’è la mia reazione vera, gli angoli della bocca che si flettono da soli. Giuro, sono loro. Io non ho fatto nulla.

Oppure anche questa volta è tutto l’opposto, perché ho (quasi?) sempre fatto tutto da sola, mi sono di certo guadagnata simpatie e occasioni che hanno scritto il percorso, ma per nessuna ragione altra, nessuna spinta esterna. Sono pure costituzionalmente sincera! Non lo so perché la mia mentore tedesca mi voglia qui, davvero provo ad immaginarmi macchinazioni varie e non ne trovo di particolarmente determinanti. Non può d’altro canto nemmeno essere perché sono brava nel mio lavoro, perché lei che ne sa. Forse farà anche figo avere una tizia esterna, ma ne hanno varie. Forse farà punteggio in qualcosa, ma poteva essere chiunque. Ho letteralmente chiesto io di venire qui. Lei mi ha detto di sì. Ho deciso io di essere sincera su tutto, e lei mi ha abbracciata in più occasioni, sia fisicamente che non. Ho chiesto di poter lavorare ad un nuovo progetto, e lei mi ha detto di accomodarmi, ma questa cosa che sto facendo (per ora a stento iniziata) porterà il mio nome: nemmeno qui ravviso inganni. E adesso vuole pagarmi per qualcosa che ho già detto che farei comunque, per tenermi qui, proteggendomi - consapevolmente - da quello che troverei a casa. Non lo so questo cosa significa, ma so che quando oggi lo ha detto mi sono sentita felice. Come si fa ad astenersi dal giudizio, in un momento così?

È iniziata così anche a Napoli, certo. Ma lì non ho mai avuto dubbi su quale fosse il mio compromesso ed il guadagno per chi corteggiava i miei sforzi. Qui siamo su un piano estremamente diverso. Lo confesso: io le credo. Ha la mia fiducia. Aspetto la fregatura col lutto nelle orecchie e questa sensazione di incredulità in volto, ma oggi questa è davvero una notizia felice. A quanto pare esistono ancora!

When i half physically immobilise an ant approaching and i Have to see it struggle from its fallen position on the table for the rest of the night im like fuck is this how worthless i think their lives are in totality and i watch it disappear in seconds before me and some part just totally wants to give up the standards of hygiene and human dominance in environments where there shouldve been only people and persons and just give it my food but thats disgusting and i would not rather help myself to an ant infestation (i have no other choice but to murder in cold blood something not even privileged enough to know what life’s value is at least in the human eye…. a privilege to be, to feel and think, and all thats best to do with these is to only serve oneself for eternity as much as possible for as long as can be and that will always be the extent of my human kindness)
