And... I wound up creating 7 OCS OUT OF THE LIL SHITS COZETTE'S SEEN TEACHING IN THE CREDITS CUTSCENE. ALL IN ONE FELL SWOOP!! Huge thanks goes to @art-tea-chill for helping me come up with their names! You can read the brief descriptions I gave them, and see an edited screenshot showing who is who as well, under the cut.

Volto (yellow one) - choir boy, always follows the rules to the letter. He/him. Flurro (blue one in front) - jokey, but nowhere near as chill as other Slippenglide people. He/him. Infurus (red one w/ flame on head) - hot headed personality. He/him. Rássiva (green one) - adventurous, probably more accurately described as a tomboy. She/her. Nexta (pink one w/ pink/orange dress) - teacher's pet /pos. She/her. Juniper (purple one) - rather shy. She/her. Silvia (dark blue mf in the back) - the most prim and proper of the bunch, but still not hesitant on calling someone out. They/them.

I recently, while watching an anime, saw a scene that was SO burningcheese core that I had to tell you about it. What could wound a warriors pride more than a fight your opponent throws? That's what infuruated him in canon, after all. But what if it was a fight purposefully interrupted by a third party to ensure your opponents downfall? Picture Spice and Cheese going blow for blow, exchanging hits strong enough to make the earth split. And just when they're about to collide in the worst way yet, a Spice Commander gets the awful idea to "help" their leader. They tackle into Golden Cheese's side, grab ahold of her wrist, halting her from plunging her spear. A single second her attention is completely diverted, but it's far too much already. Burning Spice's eyes fill with an insurmountable dread in that precious second as it dawns on him he can't stop his swing's momentum. An axe that should've be parried now turns into a fatal blow. As the dust settles, and wild spices all around gawk at the golden sovereigns crippled form now cratered in the earth, the only expression the Lord of Destruction makes seems to be of horror, as even his own equal is ripped from him.

This hurts so bad, but fits so well 😭😭😭 Imagine the Spice Swarm is ecstatic and cheering, gathered around their fallen nemesis. She's been defeated! The master can reclaim his power and glory! He shall shower us all with praise for helping him!

But... no. Instead they see him fall to his knees, axe slipping from his grasp and falling to the ground with a loud clang, abandoned and forgotten in the bloodstained dirt. They see him take her into his arms, trembling, and hold her close to his chest, even gently grabbing her head and holding it against his Soul Jam - why, one can only hazard a guess. Did he want her to feel for herself how much his heart ached, listen as it shatters to pieces in the hopes that she's spurred to rise and act and help him put them back together again? Was it some misguided, feverish notion regarding the Soul Jam's power; did he hope that physical contact with the missing half, especially so close to the half that's sitting on her forehead, would somehow resonate with and heal her? Did he just want to hold her, cradle her, feel her skin pressed against his - not by way of exchanging blows like they had been, but by a gesture meant to give comfort, to inspire a sense of warmth and safety and... affection?

(Was this the only way he could show his love and affection for her without falling back on violence, which has long since become the only way he knows how to express himself? Was this the only way he could admit his feelings for her without words, because talk is cheap - and even if it wasn't, even if he actually still believed words have value, he's incapable of them now, for the sight of her has made his mouth run dry and rendered him speechless? His thief, his bird, his prey... his beloved, his goddess, his heart, his equal, his other half, struck down not through his own personal merit, not fair and square, but through a slimy little coward's unwanted meddling?)

The Spice Swarm's cheers begin to die down as they watch on. Grins fall from faces; weapons raised high into the air are once again lowered. Their master isn't sharing in their laughter. He isn't joining in their cheers, their joy. He's just sitting there, holding onto the Soul Jam thief, rocking back and forth (what for? To try to rouse her? Or is it a half-baked attempt at self-soothing?), his head lowered and hair obscuring his face, thus leaving his expression a mystery...

...Until he looks up again. Slowly, but surely, turning his gaze back to his warriors. His lips are pulled back into the most visceral, hideous snarl they've ever seen. His eyes glow brighter than the sun itself, alight with mad fury... and they're filled with tears, tears that are now streaming down his cheeks, dripping from his chin.

The crowd falls completely silent. None dare make the slightest movement, none dare make the smallest noise - for if they do, it will make Burning Spice take immediate action, and unleash divine punishment the likes of which the world has never seen, even on the darkest days of his past rampage across the world. They must delay the inevitable for however long they can.

Anger on its own is destructive, a prime catalyst for the suffering of so many, a poison that kills both its target and whoever wields it... but anger born from grief is so, so much worse.

You know what I find absolutely infuruating? All these beautiful, amazing, accomplished but utterly sad people around. It's unacceptable.

Make a change.

Pick up a new hobby. Make new friends. Go on vacation. Curse someone. Change jobs. Dance in the rain. Dump them. Do something.

Find some fucking joy, and hold on to it. Live.

Opinion on strangers to lovers bkdk?

i dont know if this is for the rating thing but ill give my honest opinion considering that im like. iffy on it.

more below.

(please note that if you like this trope, do not feel pressured to change your likeness because i so happen to have a different opinion on it. its fine to like it and have a different stance from mine.)

one: im very open minded, and occasionally, very rarely ill read a fic where i think the cliche trope is fun enough to where the strangers to lovers thing doesnt bother me. (very rarely though. like currently ive only read like, 2 fics that caught my eye.)

two: on the other flip of the coin though, it infuruates me. like, greatly.

first of all, the WHOLE reason why i love dkbk is because its. complicated. their complicated shared history, how they overcame it, and grew together. they couldve grown seperately, but they didnt. it was a shared mutual 'rivals' thing. how they both so desperately care for the other even during the bad blood and nitty gritty, but cant show it for mutiple reasons on both sides.

[and i love stories where seemingly 'asshole' characters can be shown love too despite being at their worst. its the comfort of knowing somebodys already seen you at your worst, and showed that you were worth it. that you can grow and be better. that youre not a unreedimable monster, and you can change.]

you could argue strangers to lovers can do the same thing- but its usually done in a way that makes me angry. like bakugou is usually the uncaring asshole, and midoriya is this sweet, perfect, nice and caring person úwù who so unfornually falls in love with the dickish of dickheads in the entirety of the universe. yeah bakugou is an asshole, but if youve actually read the story midoriya is an asshole too.

not in bakugous way, really, but midoriya can be very selfish when it comes to his stances and wants. its very subtle when you arent looking for it, very obvious when you are. like how he only really focused on getting bakugou back in the kidnapping arc- and when he lost bakugou, he called it a complete loss despite getting his other peer back. (like losing katsuki was a complete failure to him, nothing else really mattered) and i could go off on a tangent how the fandom makes it seem like midoriya cant have negative feelings, like he cant be angry or selfish or be an asshole or do anything like that, which REALLY pisses me off, but thats not what this ask is wanting to talk about.

the point is, is that the whole appeal to me IS their shared history. yes, even all the nitty gritty and fucking horrible garbage. yes, even the bad blood and all that stuff. i love complicated feelings and plots and characters that arent just black and white, but grey inbtween. its why katsuki bakugou is my favorite character, because hes so complicated and messy but he tries and learns anyway. i think hes doing better than midoriya currently, like. at least bakugou understands how he feels. midoriya is doing fucking BACKFLIPS to avoid his emotions left, right and fucking centre.

and i firmly believe that midoriya is a grey character too, instead of all the sunshine.. dekuwu the fandom so seemingly wants to pull off with him. its why hes my second favorite character, right next to bakugou.

rating? 3/10 score will change depending.

How did your pulls go? Did you get Saga/Dusk? How much did it take?

I’d say they went fine. I didn’t roll all that much in this one, but I did net Dusk which is, for me, the best case scenario. Would’ve liked Saga too but I won’t lose any sleep over it. I love having Dusk as my assistant and have her say absolutely obtuse and infuruating shit ❤️
