I very recently heard Hot To Go for the first time and that one kicks ass, it's so bouncy and fun I love it! I also listened to Good Luck Babe right after because I remembered you mentioning it and it's semi-permanently stuck in my head, which kinda makes me happy because it's linked to you in my brain (but also "you're nothing more than his wife" god damn I'm always thinking about that)

Also Sugar by Maroon 5, because I can vividly remember like, a decade ago when it was on the radio while I was volunteering and I was just starting my transition and I was blogging about yugioh all day and night so happily. It's like, weird to see how long ago it was and how much stuff has changed, but that kid is still in there and we're still happy c:

I think I'm gonna say Danny Don't You Know by NSP. Not to be corny or anything but, I can kind of vibe with a song about the idea of appearing to your younger self and saying "hey bud, it's not quite what you imagined but it's worth sticking around for, we're gonna be okay c:>". I will not return to Gaza and my destroyed home anytime soon, as I do not own a car and have no one to take me. Therefore, my children and I will remain in the abandoned school, bidding farewell to everyone and watching their joy as they return.

How will I return with my belongings?

My home was completely destroyed, and I have no means of transportation. If I must return on foot, how can I leave behind my children's blankets, sleeping mats, and everything we own?

Frustration consumes me.

I don’t know what I will do on the day of return. It is exhausting and deeply worrying for me and my children.

My campaign is completely halted.

I am considering closing it, but I hope to reach 80,000 to manage my affairs. I want to travel, as I no longer have a home to return to, nor an education to secure my children’s future.

this is one of my shamefully abandoned wips because the feelings got a little too real and it was unorganized and i was really sick and i just didn't want to fix it.

this was during my stucky phase. i was frustrated by the number of stucky fics i saw with incredibly poor communication (this is a common trope in many fandoms/pairings but it seems especially prevalent there). like i get it, it's cute to be like "oh our bond goes beyond words. we know exactly what we want from this. we don't need to talk about it." but that's very silly in real life. it reminded me of some pretty mediocre relationship advice i got from a friend about like, just going with the flow or whatever. which was NOT what i needed to hear at the time! and i knew it, too, i heard that and just went okay this guy doesn't get it. he doesn't understand my relationship with this person or what it needs (which was significantly MORE clear communication. not vibes based "oh it's cool we just get each other." even if we did get each other). and then i was like honestly, why am i even accepting advice? i know this person and our dynamic better than almost anyone and if i try to follow all this advice from other people i'm just going to stress both of us out. and i was like hey, is that a stucky moment?? that seems like a stucky moment?? i feel like steve would have this exact reaction to someone telling him something like "oh you and bucky are so important to each other, don't worry about it, i'm sure you'll work it out."

anyways, i mentioned the basic premise to my best friend and as always they enabled me (this is not the only WIP i only started because of their encouragement) by coming up with a lot of specific and funny bad dating advice that people would give steve. the moment that they pointed out that it was tony, not sam, who would tell steve to just offer to suck his dick, the fic just started writing itself in my head, and at that point i usually just give up and start writing it for real. and now here we are.

i might finish this one someday, it's just not something i'm actively working on right now because i'm trying to limit the number of fics i'm working on at a time to a drabble and a longer fic (this is not working i started outlining a new fic last week send help) and this isn't one of the "longer" fics i'm most interested in
