The 35 Craziest Arrowverse Episodes
„Crazy“ is an ever changing measure, especially in the Arrowverse. When Time Travel and Parallel Universes were introduced it was a heavy leap from the norm. A couple of seasons later it was pretty much normal. So this list reflects changes in the norm, episodes that pushed the crazy and unusual. What is crazy for on show is not crazy for another one. So if you mix it you might not find it as crazy as something below it, but it is as crazy … for the show it’s featured in.
 So, let’s get into it:
  35. Haunted (Arrow Episode 4.5/74, Written by: Brian Ford Sullivan, Oscar Balderrama, Directed by: John Badham)
John Constantine crosses over in the Arroverse in this episode which reveals Olivers dealings with him in the past and shows him restoring Saras soul. With this episodes the show started to embrace it supernatural arc, here „Arrow“ got mystically weird.
Tumblr media
34.  Hey, World (Legends 4.16/67, Written by: Phil Klemmer, Keto Simizu, Directed by: Kevin Mock)
In the Season 4 Finale of “Legends” Nate is brought back to life by the power of love and song, Vandal Savage returns in an unusal way and we meet a dancing dragon. Good stuff indeed.
Tumblr media
  33.  Mr. And Mrs. Mxyptlk (Supergirl Episode 2.13/33, Written by: Jessica Queller, Sterling Gates, Directed by: Stefan Pleszczynski)
Do not listen to the haters. This is basically the “Supergirl”-Version of the 90s Trek-Episodes with Q in it. This one is probably the most comic book-y episode “Supergirl” ever did and it’s great.
Tumblr media
32.  Welcome to Earth2/Escape from Earth2 (Flash Episodes 2.13-14/36-37, 36: Written By: Greg Berlanti, Andrew Kreisberg, Katherine Walczak, Directed By: Millicent Shelton, 37: Written By: Aaron Helbing, Todd Helbing, David Kob, Directed By: J. J. Makaro)
Like I said, we got used to multiple earths. However this two parter is the first time we ever visited one. We visit Earth-2 in this, where pretty much everything and everyone is different. We are in for a lot of surprises.
Tumblr media
 31.  License to Elongate (Flash Episode 6.6/120, Written By: Thomas Pound, Jeff Hersh, Directed By: Danielle Panabaker)
This one is the „Flash“-Version of a James Bond Movie, with Barry and Ralph encountering a Bond loving villain who steals ideas and lines from movies, which is exactly as much fun as it sounds.
Tumblr media
 30.  The Book of Resistance Chapter 4: Earth Crisis (Black Lightning 3.9/38, Written by: Lamont Magee, Directed by: Tasha Smith)
In this one „Black Lightning“ discovers the multiverse and Jennifer meets different versions of herself, which lead to the shows best episode in quite a surprising way.
Tumblr media
29.  Cause and XS (Flash Episode 5.14/106, Written By: Todd Helbing, Jeff Hersh, Directed By: Rachel Talalay)
It’s the “Flash”s time-loop episode. More dark than funny, but with a lot of deaths and an happy ending, so in the end really worth it.
Tumblr media
 28.  An Un-Birthday Present (Batwoman 1.11/11, Written by: Chad Fiveash, James Stoteraux, Directed by: Mairzee Almas)
„Batwoman“ goes into the whole doppelganger business with this unusual episode, where Beth is back, which is a surprise for Kate, even more given that Alice is still running around as well.
Tumblr media
27.  Invasion! (2) (Arrow (5.8/100, Written by: Greg Berlanti, Marc Guggenheim, Wendy Mericle, Directed by: James Bamford)
While the writers cleary had fun with Barry and Kara in this one, the heart lies in the dream reality, where weg et a look at a world where the Gambit never sunk.
Tumblr media
 26.  Doomworld (Legends Episode 2.16/32, Written by: Ray Utarnachitt, Sarah Hernandez, Directed by: Mairzee Almas)
Alternate timelines are kind of an Arrowverse thing, but this one did not came to be through time travel but through the Legion of Doom rewriting history to their own liking. Therefore there is no cause and effect to the changes, which allowed the writers to have a lot of fun.
Tumblr media
 25. Camelot/3000 (Legends Episode 2.12/28, Written by: Anderson Mackenzie, Directed by: Antonio Negret)
From the far future to Camelot and King Arthur – this episodes travelled far and mixed those two areas up quite nice.
Tumblr media
24. Witch Hunt (Legends Episode 4.2/53, Written by: Keto Shimizu und Matthew Maalaa, Directed by: Kevin Mock)
Here „Legends“ inserted the a singing Fairy Godmother into the era of the Salem Witch Trials. The Fairy Godmother was really not the fairytale kind, but rather an evil one, but boy, she could sing.
Tumblr media
 23.  Back from the Future Part 1 (Supergirl (Episode 5.11/98, Written by: Dana Horgan, Katie Rose Rogers, Directed by: David Harewood)
An evil Winn from another earth turns up, which brings back our Winn and we get a Winn-Off, so to speak, and Winn with Clark Kent glasses so he wouldn’t be recognized.
Tumblr media
 22. Elongated Journey into the Night (Flash Episode 4.4/73, Written By: Sterling Gates und Thomas Pound, Directed By: Tom Cavanagh)
This episode introduces the main one, which was Ralph of course, who discovers his new powers in this and is not as amused about them as we are.
Tumblr media
21. What’s Past is Prologue (The Flash Episode 5.8/100, Written By: Todd Helbing und Lauren Certo, Directed By: Tom Cavanagh)
In the 100th episode Barry and Nora time travel through the history of the show, face down the Flash greatest villains of the past while trying not to change the time line, which of course does not work out.
Tumblr media
 20.  Reset (Arrow (Episode 8.6/166, Written by: Onalee Hunter Hughes und Maya Houston, Directed by: David Ramsey)
Yes it’s a time loop episode in „Arrow“! It’s probably the moment the show embraced it’s funny pages origin the most wholehearted.
Tumblr media
19. The Virgin Gary (Legends Episode 4.1/52, Written by: Phil Klemmer und Grainee Godfree, Directed by: Gregory Smith)
John Constantine joins the Legends in the time for a murderous unicorn at Woodstock that roofies most of the team and gets Ray to snog a tree, Mick and Nate to exchange loving vows, and Zari to chase lights.
Tumblr media
18. Helen Hunt (Legends Episode 3.6/39, Written by: Keto Shimizu und Ubah Mohamed, Directed by: David Geddes)
Helen of Troy single handedly destroys the Golden Era of Hollywood, simply by being there and driving men nuts. Studio exes try to kill each other in order to get her, while Damien Darhk becomes her agent to wreck even more havoc.
Tumblr media
17. The Fellowship of the Spear (Legends Episode 2.15/31, Written by: Keto Shimizu, Matthew Maala, Directed by: Ben Bray)
This episode is “Legends”-Homage to Tolkien and his works. However the most quotes and nods go to the Peter Jackson Movies, which is no problem, because we love them too.
Tumblr media
16. Starling City (Arrow (Episode 8.1/ 161, Written by: Beth Schwartz und Marx Guggenheim, Directed by: James Bamford)
We are essentially reliving the pilot with a few signifcant changes. Turns out we are actually on Earth-2 and Oliver pretends to be his doppelganger in order to do a thing for The Monitor.
Tumblr media
15. Séance and Sensibility (Legends Episode 4.11/62, Written by: Grainne Godfree, Jackie Canino, Directed by: Alexandra La Roche)
What have Jane Austen and Bollywood in common? Both a represented in this episode that features a Bollywood number and the death of Jane Austens writing career.
Tumblr media
14.  Luck is a Lady (Flash Episode 4.3/72, Written By: Sam Chalsen und Judalina Neira, Directed By: Armen V. Kervokian)
This episode introduces Hazard, a Meta who generates Bad Luck in order to have Luck herself which creates a lot more chaos than you would think.
Tumblr media
13.  Emerald Archer (Arrow Episode7.12/ 150, Written by: Marc Guggenheim und Emilio Ortega Aldrich, Directed by: Glen Winter)
„Cops“ meets „Arrow“. This is a documentary about Team Arrow, or rather the making of the documentary about Team Arrow or rather a very special very unsusal episode.
Tumblr media
12. The Bottle Episode (Supergirl Episode 5.10/97, Written by: Derek Simon, Directed by: Tawnia McKiernan)
We get a lot of doppelgangers, most of them Brainys, and a lot of chaos, I mean more chaos then most other shows usually have, except for „Legends“.
Tumblr media
11. Aruba (Legends Episode 2.17/33, Written by: Phil Klemmer und Marc Guggenheim, Directed by: Rob Seidenglanz)
The Finale of Season 2 features two sets of Legends, while the team goes back and while Malcolm, Damien, and Snart are mostly confused Eobard strikes back by recruiting a lot of his former selfes.
Tumblr media
10. The Good, the Bad and the Cuddley (Legends Episode 3.18/51, Written by: Marc Guggenheim und Phil Klemmer, Directed by: Dermott Downs)
In the Season 3 Finale we got a massive Beebo who fights a gigantic demon. The Beebo was created by a Legends Orgy and symbolizes … well love I guess.
Tumblr media
9. Raiders of the Lost Art (Legends Episode 2.9/25, Written by: Keto Shimizu, Chris Fedak, Directed by: Dermott Downs)
This is officially the episode where „Legends“ went nuts. Oh and it’s a delicous one. George Lucas never became a filmmaker after being scared of by Malcolms and Damiens attempts to kill amnesiac Rip Hunter who thinks he is an American filmstudent, whose script is basically the plot of the shows first season of „Legends of Tomorrow.“
Tumblr media
8.      It’s a Super Life (Supergirl Episode 5.13/100, Written by: Robert Rovner, Jessica Queller, Derek Simon, Nicki Holcomb, Directed by: Jesse Warn)
The 100the episode watches videos of the show and comments on them, then inserts Kara into the past and let her change things and create alternate timelines, what ifs, so of how things would have turned out if she had made different choices.
Tumblr media
7. Beebo the God of War (Legends Episode 3.9/42, Written by: Grainne Goodfree und James Eagan, Directed by: Kevin Mock)
Mostly it’s the episode about Beebo Day. You know, the blue god, who hungers for war and conquest? Whose birthday we celebrate once a year in december and … wait? What was I talking about?
Tumblr media
6. Crisis on Infinite Earths Part 1-5 (Supergirl, Batwoman, Flash, Arrow, Legends, Part 1: Supergirl Episode 5.9/96, Written by: Robert Rovner, Marc Guggenheim, Derek Simon, Jay Faerber, Directed by: Jesse Warn, Part 2: Batwoman Episode 1.9/9, Written by: Din Whitehead, Holly Henderson, Directed by: Laura Belsey, Part 3: The Flash Episode 6.9/123, Written By: Lauren Certo, Sterling Gates, Eric Wallace, Directed By: David McWhirter, Part 4: Arrow: Episode 8.8/168, Written by: Marv Wolfman, Marc Guggenheim; Directed by: Glen Winter, Part 5: Legends of Tomorrow Episode 5.0/68, Written by: Keto Shimizu, Ubah Mohamed, Directed by: Gregory Smith)
In the biggest and craziest Crossover in the history of television the multiverse is destroyed and rebuilt, Oliver Queen dies, we meet an evil Batman and we get a Supermen Team Up, among many other things.
Tumblr media
5. Legends of To-Meow-Meow (Legends Episode 4.8/59, Written by: James Eagan und Ray Utarnachitt, Directed by: Ben Bray)
Sulky about missing out on the Crossover the Legends crossovered with themselves in Season 4. John and Charlie destroyed the timeline for selfish reasons, and now everything is wrong and everything they do makes things worse instead of better.
Tumblr media
 4.     Meet the Legends (Legends Episode 5.1/69, Written by: Grainne Godfree, James Eagan, Directed by: Kevin Mock)
This episode is the documentary and the making oft he documentary. Think Arrows „Emerald Archer“ only way carzier and funnier.
Tumblr media
 3. Duet (Flash Episode 3.17/63, Written By: Aaron Helbing, Todd Helbing, Greg Berlani, Andrew Kreisberg, Directed By: Dermott Daniels Downs)
It’s the Musical Episode! The „Supergirl“-Crossover has all the jazz – singing, dancing, kissing, opening up about feelings – and also a mini „Glee“-Reunion.
Tumblr media
2.      Elseworlds Part 1-3 (Flash, Arrow, Supergirl, Part 1: The Flash Episode 5.9/101, Written By: Eric Wallace und Sam Chalsen, Directed By: Kevin Tancharoen und Tom Cavanagh, Part 2: Arrow Episode 7.9/147, Written by: Marc Guggenheim und Caroline Dries, Directed by: James Bamford, Part 3: Supergirl Episode 4.9/74, Written by: Mac Guggenheim, Derek Simon und Rob Rovner, Directed by: Jesse Warn)
In this Crossover Oliver und Barry switch identities which no one on Earth-1 believes, but Kara’s help leads to an evil not-quite Superman and a brand new reality.
Tumblr media
1.      The One Where we‘re Trapped on TV (Legends Episode 5.13/81, Written by: Grainne Godfree, James Eagan, Directed by: Marc Guggenheim)
And the award for the Craziest TV Episode of all time goes to this one, where the Legends are trapped on TV. We get very familiar but strange versions of „Friends“, „Downtown Abbey,“ and „Star Trek“ with the Legends as the main characters instead.

A New World
If Payal and Akash were not romantically linked, and if Arnav and Khushi did not have the feelings (which they vehemently denied) for each other, then Akash and Khushi would have been the perfect match.
Three discussions of Salman Khan’s five films, one argument about Delhi’s transportation system, two unending apologies regarding the argument, and a final agreement on Indian music’s rapid declining state summarized their one hundred and twenty four minutes conversation.
This was a problem neither Arnav nor Payal had foreseen. One’s cousin loved to speak. The other loved to listen. Payal had long left the room, tending to Bua ji’s infinite questions on where the girls had been. Arnav finished his final notes, stood up and grabbed Akash’s phone out of his hand.
“Bhai! Khushi ji was telling me about how Pritam copied Teri Meri’s tune from a South Korean song and it’s disheartening because how the track is so wonderful, especially with Rahat Fateh-”
“-where are you taking Payal for a date?” Arnav cut in. Akash’s mouth opened and closed, like a fish.
“Oh.”
“Oh??”
“-aur Akash ji,” Even though Akash’s phone was not on speaker, Khushi’s voice rang out loud and clear, “-Rahat ji’s voice evokes a true pain so imagine my horror when I learnt the song was copied-”
“-Khushi Kumari Gupta, is this your plan to not get Payal on a date with Akash?” Khushi choked, gasped, turned red in mortification and huffed. How dare he think this is what she wants? And how can he always be so wrong about her? If Khushi had a list on the number of times Arnav misinterpreted her actions - it would match the salary of an average employee at AR!
Khushi grumbled and popped a channa in her mouth, “Aap-”
“Haan main. As usual Akash overestimated your capabilities and told me you had more than enough EQ to help him find a location for the date,” Akash tried to get his phone back, but one glare from Arnav and he was back on his seat. Never underestimate the power of a raised eyebrow and side eye.
“You always meet my expectations with your fruitless conversations.” Arnav scoffed, his files and Akash forgotten.
“Aap!-” Khushi glowered.
“-I should have warned Akash about your IQ instead. I’m sure with your channas, jalebis and bollywood music, you missed out on helping him out.” He said. Khushi stopped herself from eating a channa, cleared the empty plate of jalebi from her table and held her phone in a tight grip.
“Aap-” she began.
“Khushi, it’s established that it’s me.” Arnav rolled his eyes.
“Aap!-”
“Can we move on from aap? I think it’s better to set up Akash and Payal’s date at the AR head office.” If, Khushi’s God forbid, Akash and Payal were to go out on a movie for a date - it would mean that he and Khushi would have to watch that film too.
Trusting Akash, Payal and the overwhelming influence of Khushi Kumari Gupta, it would be a Salman Khan film.
Arnav winced in advance for that shiver that would crawl his spine at the thought of a shirtless Salman romancing a woman twenty years younger than him on a copied Bollywood item song with the crowd hooting on the screen.
Except, the prospect was tolerable, his spine did not shiver but something else did at the thought of sitting with Khushi in proximity, in the dark, for three hours.
“Hmm… it’s a good idea.” Her agreement brought Arnav out of his thoughts.
“You... agree?” He tried his hardest to keep his surprise at bay.
“It’s better to meet in the office. There’s no risk of running into anyone else, and it’s a comfortable environment for Akash ji. Also, AR’s studio can be set up for their date-”
“-the studio is not your playground.” Arnav warned. Khushi rolled her eyes.
“Arrey! I didn’t even say that I would decorate but now that you’re suggesting…” Khushi paused, muffling a chuckle as Arnav swore his ‘what the-’ on the other end of the phone.
“If you first planned on them meeting at the canteen or in Akash’s office, then I’ll decorate the studio for them.” Khushi challenged.
“I did not think of the canteen first,” He bit out. Contrary to popular opinion, Arnav was not a nitwit in romance. His first idea was Akash’s office, second was the canteen.
“So you planned it second?” Khushi asked.
“What the fuck!” He snapped.
“Haw! Fine, apart from two leather chairs - by the way you should stop buying leather chairs! As a multi million dollar company do you realise what message you’re giving for the environment? Animals are also-”
“Khushi. Date. Focus.” Arnav sighed. Khushi and derailing a topic were one and the same. Yet, Arnav shot a quick text message to Aman that said something like;
Arnav: Replace leather chairs with faux leather.
Aman: Ok, do we publicise going animal friendly?
Arnav: Don’t ask stupid questions. Yes.
Aman: Same for our clothing lines?
Arnav: Yes.
Aman: Who recommended this?
Arnav: Do you think I’ll change everything based on one person’s opinion?
Aman: Should I get fired?
Arnav: Was your answer yes.
Aman: Yes.
Arnav: You’re fired.
Aman: See you tomorrow.
“Arrey, are you even listening to me. Laad Governor, as if he will change anything!” Khushi grumbled, forgetting she was still on line. Akash checked in a choke at the nickname. He was also quick to bury himself in the lookbook before Arnav could shoot a metaphorical and literal dagger at him.
“What did you call me? And Khushi, you don’t really know me.” Arnav argued.
“So you weren’t planning on Akash ji and Jiji sitting on a round table with nothing apart from two chairs and two mineral bottles on the table?” Khushi drawled. She was granted with a five second silence.
“What… are your plans for the studio?” He asked.
“Give me Aman ji’s phone number.”
“What the-”
“Anyways you’re going to delegate work to him na?” Khushi countered. Arnav dignified her question by ending the call. While Khushi spent two minutes cursing him and his blasted manners, Payal walked up to her with their cell phone.
“Khushi, who’s this Aman Mathur?”
---
Three days later, thanks to Preeto’s pre engagement lunch party - a western and a ‘Hai Re Nandkisore’ concept according to Bua ji - Payal and Khushi were able to sneak out for the date. Shyam had stopped Khushi, offering to drop her at Preeto’s house. When he realised Payal was going too, his smile tightened and he remembered a case he had to attend. Nowadays Shyam seemed to be burdened by a lot of cases for he was rarely home.
For some reason it gave great relief to Khushi. Something was off about that man.
“Arrey Khushi!” Preeto ran down the stairs and grabbed Khushi into a tight hug. Privy to the little secret, she gave a wink to Payal and ushered them in.
“You’re looking beautiful Payal di.” Preeto whispered.
The plan was set - Preeto’s mum would see that the girls are sitting and enjoying the party and just as the other girls would come in, Khushi and Payal - having forgotten their ‘gift’ - would head out to the ‘market’.
Then they would get lost, in finding the perfect gift, and return a few hours later. After that, they’d have evening snacks together and head home.
“Okay, now chalo.” Preeto said, but she found a gift of glittered bangles in her hand. It was not cheap.
“Khushi?” Preeto hugged Khushi, tearing up. Payal finally understood why Khushi slogged an extra few hours at tuitions this week. Khushi couldn’t keep her own tears at bay. An engagement should be celebrated with utmost happiness.
“Preeto, do you think we’d leave without a gift?” Payal smiled. In a way both Khushi and Payal’s consciences were soothed from lying to their family. They, in a way, were really a part of Preeto’s party. Through the backdoor, the sisters held hands and sneaked into an auto, waving at Preeto.
---
Payal had only heard stories of the AR office. Now, staring at the ten storey glass building her heart hammered loud. Even though she had visited their massive house and been in his exclusive Mercedes, Akash’s presence had dulled her senses to how rich they were.
It finally dawned on her that these people had businesses worth millions. Frequented countries like the way she walked between her house and Lakshmi Nagar bazaar. That Akash, truly was a Raizada. He was wealthy beyond her imagination.
Khushi’s smile fell as Payal rapidly paled, stepping back from the glass doors.
“Jiji?” Khushi touched her shoulder, Payal grabbed her hand.
“Khushi, hum yaha kya kar rahe hai! What are we doing here? Our statuses are very different. We won’t be compatible by just two cups of tea.” Payal was on the verge of tears. Suddenly the shiny purple salwar kameez, the one she saved for special events seemed cheap.
Manorama, for all her crassness, had been honest.
Payal and Akash belonged from different worlds.
Akash and Arnav stopped at the first floor, seeing a shocked Payal and a crestfallen Khushi at the reception. They were not expecting this.
“Jiji, they come from the same world as us. We aren’t different.” Khushi led Payal to the visitor’s chair and they both sat down.
Payal shook her head, “No, when you told me a car was about to run you over in a parking lot I thought you were being your blind self. I didn’t know that their parking lot was four times the size of Bua ji’s house.”
“Jiji, five hundred people work here, they can’t just have Happy ji’s garage - which is in full capacity with one SUV and Bedi uncle’s scooter.” Khushi soothed Payal.
“Khushi, Akash is way out of my league.” Payal told Khushi.
“Why? Because he and his family earns a lot? But they’ve worked hard for it, like Babuji, like us.”
“Khushi, they won’t understand us-”
“Bas Jiji. They will. This is not inherited money, they’ve earned it. Like Babuji. If you say there’s a difference of intellect, education and business skills - I’ll agree. But differences in values, culture and ethics - then no, you’re mistaken. In most companies brothers fight for power, but there’s no rivalry between Akash ji and Arnav ji, you know why? For the same reason why there’s no rivalry between us.” Payal looked up, surprised at Khushi’s confidence.
“Now will rich people stop marrying normal people because they earned money? Ok, if you were marrying that Liza ji’s brother then I would, gladly, commit suicide.” Khushi shivered. Akash and Arnav exchanged a look - they shared the same sentiment.
Khushi never hated anyone, but she detested Liza from the bottom of her heart. Her snootiness, disrespect for money and humans alike, plastic smile rubbed Khushi wrong. And the way she had embraced Arnav, calling him ‘Arnie’. It bothered her then, it positively disturbed her now.
Payal cracked a small smile then frowned, “But the people they surround with are rude.”
“I agree. Some of them, their colleagues and they themselves are mean. But Jiji, if you spent even one day with Sim and Pam then you’ll also begin saying what-the-what-the-what-the.” Khushi explained. Akash glanced at Arnav, who remained expressionless, except for the slight curl of his lip.
“And you, if you want, plan on marrying Akash ji - not the people he surrounds himself with.” Khushi said. Payal brushed away Khushi’s humor.
“But-”
“Jiji, I know people are important. I know our status difference, their wealth, all of that matters but what means the most is that you love him. I don’t have the answers for everything. If you’re bothered by the people, you need to tell him so as to you both can work on it. If Akash ji expects you to immediately fit in then you need to make him see that by just adding a Raizada in your surname you won’t immediately turn into a woman who’s always lived in wealth.” Khushi held Payal’s hand.
“That’s why you wanted time. And that’s why he agreed. If you want I can find you a man who’s of the same status and community, but let me tell you something - nothing replaces love.” Payal looked at the scar beneath Khushi’s ring finger. They all believed in superstition. Khushi had always believed in love.
Khushi’s engagement and scar was inauspicious and loveless.
“Whenever you have these doubts, think of marrying another man. Your heart will tell you the truth.” Akash smiled at the advice. Arnav gulped, the knot in his chest becoming tighter with every passing day.
“You and Akash ji need to make it work. The easier it is to form a relationship, the more difficult it is to sustain it - yet the more worth it is. Acknowledging differences is the first step.” Khushi pulled Payal to her feet.
“Now are you feeling confident or not? Even the handsome Chulbul Pandey married penniless Rajjo because they had one thing in common - fearlessness.” Khushi gushed.
“Is he her neighbor?” Arnav asked Akash.
“Who?”
“The Pandey she’s talking about.”
“Oh, Chulbul Pandey. No, he's a character in Salman Khan’s film, Dabangg. And Rajjo was Sonakshi Sinha. The film was directed by Abhinav Kashyap and,” Akash stopped, realising Arnav was staring at him.
“No Bhai, I don’t watch Hindi films… woh, Khushi ji told me about this.” Akash turned red and looked at his shoes. Arnav narrowed his eyes to slits, vowing to show Akash better films.
“But life is not a film Khushi, what if it doesn’t work out in the future?” Payal asked. Akash and Arnav waited for Khushi’s reply.
“And what if it does? Jiji, how can you find answers to a future you haven’t lived? Everything might not be perfect, but you can only be upset if you’ve not given your hundred percent.” Khushi advised and removed a handkerchief from her purse.
“When did you grow up?” Payal smiled and took the handkerchief. Khushi gave her a half smile and fisted her hands. Off late she has had to grow up. Whether she liked it or not.
“Bhai, thanks for the studio, especially on a Sunday.” Akash said.
“Do me a favour and make this work. She’s a woman who will only love you for who you are.” Arnav cracked a half smile.
“Khushi, am I looking ok?” Payal straightened her kameez.
“Mind blowing! In fact you look like Sonali Bendre from Sarfarosh!” Khushi held out her hand. Payal grasped it, her nervousness and excitement blending into one ball of mess in her stomach.
“I’m guessing Sarfarosh is another Salman Khan-” Arnav began.
“Aamir Khan.” Akash corrected, straightening up his jacket as Payal and Khushi entered, “And Khushi ji must be referring to the purple salwar kameez right before the ‘Jo Haal Dil Ka’ begins playing.” But to him the color matched Payal better. It took him a second to realise Arnav was, again, staring at him.
“N-no, I mean…” Akash blanched. He had a reputation to protect before his brother and his knowledge of his Hindi films was not helping.
“If you tell me Khushi told you this,” Arnav stopped as Akash left him behind, staring at Payal in unabashed admiration. She had walked right under the chandelier, the light sparkling on her dress and jewelry.
Akash swallowed hard, staring at the woman who made every young fantasy come true. That one day there would be a woman for whom he’d forget everything else.
At the edge of Arnav’s office, Akash stared down at Payal who looked up at him in equal parts of wonder and adoration. In a small, forgotten corner of her heart it felt like she was visiting a palace. Standing tall and high above her, in a crisp white suit, with shadows and light casted on his handsome face, Akash was nothing short of a prince.
Arnav and Khushi stayed in the shadows, regarding the other in their silhouettes and gazes. She had worn an all white salwar kameez, the one she wore at the Dargah. He was in all black. With awareness, a heaviness sat in the hearts. It had been long since they took the time to look at the other, like this.
This was what Khushi had been talking about. For all her fears and cynicism, there was a magic that gave Payal endless optimism. That pleaded her to give her its best.
It didn’t matter which world either came from, one day they might just create their own.

9 Celebrities That Got Tattoos For A Reason
Shivani K February 9, 2019
When it comes to expressing our emotions on your body in the form of art, tattoos have become the first choice for many people out there. People consider their tattoos to be a symbol of who they are, or who they have come to be, after facing several storms in life.
Our bodies are like a canvas, and the tattoos that we get inked on them are those memories which we’ve decided to document on our bodies. Even Hollywood and Bollywood’s famous personas have chosen tattoos as a means of self-expression. Every tattoo has a story or a reason behind it. Here we’ve put down a list of 9 such celebrities and their tattoo tales which will help us understand that a tattoo is more than just mere body-art. Let’s read together now.
1. Priyanka Chopra Jonas
She sure is winning hearts worldwide with her cool attitude and making headlines for achieving great success in her career. She has also been working continuously for the welfare of mankind under the ambit of the United Nations. But if there’s one thing that perfectly captures the essence of her personality, it has to be the tattoo inked on her forearm that says—“Daddy’s Lil Girl.” It’s her way of showing her love for her late father and you know what’s more heartwarming about this tattoo? The words are inked in her father’s handwriting.
2. Lady Gaga
Her tattoo sure gives us siblings goals! Lady Gaga inked a cute mouse on her arm which is dedicated to her little sister Natali. She says that she used to call her mouse when they were young. Also, the details of the mouse tattoo are so meaningful. The mouse is seen holding a needle that depicts Natali’s love for designing clothes and there’s a thread twirled around the mouse’s legs which forms the word “Nat.”
3. Sonakshi Sinha
The Dabangg girl has one of the simplest tattoos compared to ones sported by her tinsel town buddies. She has a tiny star tattooed on her collarbone. Often times when the paparazzi have asked about its significance, the actor has been heard saying that it’s a star that guides her and will always be with her.
4. Megan Fox
Her tattoo is quite interesting. The tattoo which is inked on her back says, “We will all laugh at gilded butterflies”. This particular phrase is taken from the Shakespearean play, The Tragedy of King Lear. She says this tattoo reminds her that she needs to make sure she remains grounded, no matter how many heights she reaches in the Hollywood industry.
5. Sushmita Sen
This former Miss Universe has got quite a number of tattoos inked on herself. The most noticeable one is on her wrist that says, “Aut Viam Inveniam Aut Faciam.” It translates to “I will find a way or make my own.” Isn’t this one strong message coming from an even stronger woman? It’s truly a very inspiring tattoo.
6. Angelina Jolie
Angelina Jolie has a lot of tattoos which reflect some of the most important things in life. But the tattoo we totally loved is the one on her shoulders which has a collection of the coordinates of all those places where her closed ones were born. The coordinates signify the following geographic locales:
Her oldest son Maddox’s birthplace in Cambodia.
Her Daughter Zahara’s birthplace in Ethiopia.
Her other daughter Shiloh’s birthplace in Namibia.
Her son Pax’s birthplace in Vietnam.
Her twins, Knox and Vivienne’s birthplace in France.
And this might be a surprise for most of you. She even has the coordinates of her ex-husband Brad Pitt’s birthplace in Oklahoma.
7. Saif Ali Khan
When it comes to tattoos how can we forget the Nawab of Pataudi? He caught everybody’s attention with his bold tattoo of the name “Kareena” inked on his arm. He set the standards for other actors by publicly confessing his infinite love for his wife whom people lovingly call Bebo.
8. Emma Stone
Emma Stone’s tattoo can be called an emotional one. Both, she and her brother, got the same tattoos, a tattoo of bird’s feet to celebrate their mother’s win against the deadly breast cancer. Another, less known, fact is that this tattoo was made by Paul McCartney himself, taking inspiration from Emma’s mother’s fondness for the song “Blackbird,” which was composed by Paul a long time ago.
9. Ajay Devgn
The Singham star is not just known for the insane pranks he pulls off so effortlessly on his film sets, he is also known for his love for tattoos and his devotion for Lord Shiva. He took his love for Shiva to another level by getting Shiva’s image inked on his chest. It’s a tattoo where Lord Shiva can be seen meditating.
These were our picks of tattoos from the celebrity world. Is there any other celeb tattoo that has inspired you to get inked? Let us know in the comments below.

Gaana Vs Saavn - Who'll Become The Spotify Of India?
We don’t have all our favourite songs stored when we want to listen to them, nor do they play on the radio when we want them. And that is when apps like Gaana and Saavn come to our mind. Gaana launched its new version V 5.0.0 recently which made us ask a question – Will it be better than Saavn? We have been using Saavn for quite some time now. It would be interesting to see what the new update of Gaana beholds.
We will start by comparing the user interface of both the apps. On one hand, We have Saavn which has has a very neat, clutter-free user interface which is soothing to the eye. The header of the app consists of 2 simple options: Language Selection and Search Bar. The language selection is really helpful to a user to toggle between the number of languages quickly. There is a row below it with 3 options: Top 15, Surprise Me and Download. The ‘Top 15’ option queues the trending fifteen songs in your playlist. Whereas, ‘Surprise Me’ actually surprises by loading a mix of some unheard songs from old and new movies. ‘Download’ gives you purchasing details of its premium plans. The other options available at a quick access to the user are his own playlist, New Releases, Chart Toppers which includes chart toppers from different languages, Radio, Moods & Genres and Top Playlists.
While on the other hand, The new Gaana app has a sharp black theme making its options highlight; completely opposing to Saavn. The header has an ‘Options’ bar to the left and a search bar to the right. Unlike Saavn that lets you shuffle between languages from the main screen, in Gaana you have to go to Settings > Select Language and then choose Language Preferences. The home screen of the app has New Releases in the top followed by Playlist of the Hour, Top Charts and Radio Mirchi. Gaana also has Music Videos which is an advantageous feature not present in Saavn. The home screen has an infinite scroll because of which you will have endless supply of music to choose from. We wonder if this list will end up showing the entire 3 million songs in Gaana’s database.
The music streaming for both the apps is equally good. On one hand, Gaana plays my music playlist smoothly while on other Saavn has a major drawback of is its advertisements which are played for 10 seconds! And sometimes, these ads play at the end of every song. The music player of both the apps looked crisp. But, We loved Gaana’s music player as it gave us the options to see the lyrics and the video of the song instantly. If you just want to listen Bollywood & English music then Gaana is nothing less than a royal feast to you. Gaana is more focussed on Bollywood and English music focusing less on regional music. Saavn scores some brownie points here by putting more focus on regional languages. Personally, I was elated to find the lesser-known artist Rekha Bharadwaj’s music was available aplenty on Gaana, whereas Saavn returned no results.
