My thoughts during “The Sign” [SPOILERS!!!!!]
ID in ALT
More thoughts under the cut
So I think most of us can agree that this is the best episode of Bluey so far. It was so emotional and satisfying in ways that are kinda new for Bluey. It answered so many questions while giving us a few new ones. I’ve been waiting for this episode for months and it did not disappoint in any way.
This is just a Chekov’s firing squad of an episode. As in a lot of stuff that was set up in earlier episodes all pay off in this episode. I kinda understand why people love soap operas now lol. I will say that this episode was a tad overwhelming for me in the best way possible. As in I had to pause and rewind every 30 seconds or so so I could emotionally process what was happening before moving forward (but that’s a me thing). There was just so much going on and I’m happy about that.
Now onto individual thoughts about specific things:
The callback to Baby Race (“you took your first steps in that house!”) really got to me because Baby Race was the first episode of Bluey that I watched and it immediately made me fall in love with it so it just got to me.
When Chilli said “Frisky and I came up here as teenagers to…um…think,” my mind started racing immediately with “what the FUCK happened at the Lookout?” “Who hurt Frisky and/or Chilli?” And I’m just so curious about what made Chilli say that line like that but we’ll probably never know what happened.
So yeah that scene at the end when the music was playing and Bandit ripped the sign out of the ground and Chilli tackled him to the ground ABSOLUTELY CHANGED my brain chemistry y’all. I can’t articulate my feelings any more than that.
I know some people were upset that Brandy ended up getting pregnant but I thought it was great for her! I’m happy for her! And I think that even though she got what she wanted in the end doesn’t negate the feelings she had about her infertility earlier. But I think we’re all wondering who the father is and I don’t know if the show really needs to answer that.
The whole message of “we’ll see” in terms of if something is good or bad is such a mature message that I never really thought of like that so I will be taking that philosophy forward in life. Congratulations Bluey, you managed to teach a 22-year-old childless person something new and insightful about life that I don’t think I’ve learned from another show.
I want to know more about what Bob was going through and feeling and why he went to India, but again, we’ll probably never know.
I just love how the wedding photos were beautiful but imperfect. Like of course we’re not perfect and nothing will ever be perfect but it’s beautiful and worth remembering anyway.
So many little jokes and moments were so funny in a mature way (I.e. “are we allowed to do that?” And Nana thinking there was about to be a baby announcement) were just so funny and memorable.
I think some people would say it’s a cop-out to end up not selling the house after building it up for 2 episodes but I don’t know, I think it works. I think Bluey and Bingo learned a valuable lesson and Bandit (and Chilli kinda) learned it’s not always about making their kids lives “perfect” in their eyes. Also I’m just personally glad they didn’t end up selling the house and I also kinda like that it wasn’t entirely their choice to keep it.
On a more serious note I think this episode has some interesting commentary on like gender roles and gender relations in straight relationships. In this episode Chilli and Frisky (both women) have to deal with their male significant others pressuring them to move with them far away from what they know and love. In the end they don’t end up moving and the men didn’t seem to have like malicious or selfish intent with it, they were just kinda basing their choices off their jobs instead of what’s best emotionally for their loved ones. But I think it’s interesting to have this conflict where gender is kinda brought up in a way (“because your husband is making you”). It kinda plays into the traditional idea of like men are the breadwinners and the family has to move with them regardless of what they actually want. And this episode kinda like deconstructs that and says “no, it’s not always about the job or money, it’s also sometimes about connections and emotional attachment.” And I’m not saying that you should never move or whatever, but really weigh your options. I just thought that it was interesting that this episode kinda touched on that.
So yeah that’s kinda the main thoughts I had on this episode if you made it this far thank you for reading my rambles and have a good one!

Franchaela season
After some days, I properly let go of Michael in the show and embraced Michaela. We'll always have him in the books and Masali is a superb actress. And I think there's a way to keep important plot points in this version.
John's death -> Easy, it will happen without a problem. If anything it will be more impactful because we know him better.
Fran's infertility -> This may be FranJohn's storyline in s4 or s5. They may also give them more than two years. Benophie may have a two-year jump, which is how long FranJohn were married. They can't kill him in the middle of s4 (I think), so they may give them 2 or 3 more years? And maybe, in the end, they'll have a boy.
The title -> If Fran has a son, he will inherit the title as a baby and Fran will take care of the estate until he can take over. Michaela may help her. If not, I just did a quick look, but there's something called suo jure = in her own right. Women in extraordinary circumstances could inherit a title and pass it on. Given Fran's infertility, John may have ensured that the title stays in their branch of the family by stipulating in his will that the title passes to Michaela if there's no male heir. Maybe there's no extended family. Bton can play with the rules and make this possible. They already introduced a character that supervises the lineages.
Michaela in India -> This can still happen. She can still feel guilty and escape to India or somewhere else for years. She can still get malaria.

The Impact of Age on IUI Success Rates
IUI (Intrauterine Insemination) is a highly effective fertility treatment for couples struggling with infertility, especially when age is carefully considered as a factor in its outcome. The success chances are highest for women under 35, with outcomes decreasing between ages 35-40, and further dropping for women over 40. IUI is often recommended for couples facing unexplained infertility, mild male infertility, or using donor sperm. As a safe and affordable option, IUI treatment in India is helping many couples. Knowing how it works and its success factors can guide you better.

What is PCOS? | What is PCOD?
PCOD and PCOS: Causes
PCOD and PCOS causes are unidentified. It is a condition that impacts a female's ovaries. PCOS women produce a high amount of androgen hormones compared to PCOD women.
Let's understand separately.
What is PCOS?
Polycystic Ovary Syndrome (PCOS) is a hormonal imbalance that affects the reproductive age. In addition, high amounts of hormones like androgen and testosterone can lead to irregular periods. It is also one of the causes that disturb ovulation of eggs. As a result, difficulty in ovulation can lead to infertility in the future. Some of the symptoms of PCOS are abnormal hair growth, acne, and cyst in the ovaries. Furthermore, some of the diseases that stay for a longer time are heart disease and type 2 diabetes. The exact cause of PCOS is still unidentified, but these symptoms can be cured with several lifestyle changes, medication, and surgical treatment.
Sometimes, PCOS and PCOD can not be identified at the initial stage, so here are some of the common symptoms that impact ovulation and can be the reason for infertility.
Abnormal periods
Skipped menstrual period.
Abnormal increment in male hormones like androgen and testosterone.
Cyst developed in the ovaries.
What is PCOD?
Polycystic Ovary Disease (PCOD) is a condition where ovaries develop immature or slightly mature eggs. Sometimes, these eggs are unable to ovulate and become cysts over time. However, PCOD does not impact fertility. PCOD can be treated with some lifestyle changes or medications. It is believed that PCOD can take place due to poor lifestyle, hormonal imbalance, obesity, or stress. Fortunately, PCOD is not a condition that creates serious complications. Women with this condition can experience symptoms ranging from light to extreme. Nevertheless, these symptoms can be treated.
Some of the researchers have introduced it as an environmental and genetic cause. For example, some of the common causes include:
Poor nutrition or unhealthy diet
Inactive physical health
Pollution
Excessive intake of medicine and supplements
Hormone disrupting medicine
After reading a brief introduction about PCOD and PCOS. Now, come to analyze the cause of PCOS and PCOD.
Causes of PCOS and PCOD
The actual cause of PCOS/PCOD is unclear till now. Here are factors that will help to understand the related causes of PCOS/PCOD:
Can a woman pregnant with PCOD
Yes, having PCOD does not affect fertility, and women can get pregnant with this condition. However, it just needs some attention to maintain a healthy life routine, and some medication can help to treat PCOD.
Suggested treatment to cure PCOS/PCOD
PCOS and PCOD treatment treat the condition of abnormal periods, hirsutism, acne, pimples, infertility and obesity. In addition, the doctors plan the treatment according to the needs of the body and medical condition. The treatment plan starts with changes in lifestyle, diet plan and some hormone balancing medication. Specifically, lifestyle changes focus on issues like weight loss, exercise and a healthy diet. Moreover, balanced and protein diets help to maintain the body weight that leads to functioning the menstrual cycle properly.
Some of the common and effective treatment include:
Treatment for infertility with medication and injections.
Activation of ovulation with oral medicine and injections help the quality and quantity of eggs.
Reducing extreme forms of hair growth.
Improve the cycles of periods with medication. It also treats the imbalance of hormone and Insulin resistance.
Treatment for pimples and acne.
IVF treatment with PCOS/PCOD
Couples are facing infertility worldwide. Sometimes, the cause of infertility is clear, but sometimes it remains unidentified. If the couple is unable to conceive naturally and the female partner may have conditions like PCOS and PCOD, then conceiving a child through IVF is the only way. In fact, IVF treatment in India is one of the most cost-effective treatments compared to Western countries. Moreover, connecting with a medical health advisor will make the journey easier. If you are planning to get IVF treatment, IVF treatment in India is one of the best platforms to connect. The team of IVF treatment India will plan your complete journey hassle-free, according to your time and need. Ultimately, the best fertility clinics for IVF and the best IVF specialists are two of the main key factors of the IVF treatment India team.

I'm not a fun of hormonal birth control methods either, but putting it in the hands of men wouldn't work at all. You'd have to trust that someone takes their pill, which is a very risky thing to do.
In my eyes, it's natural that women carry the burden of it, because we're also the only ones who can get pregnant and give birth. You can never shift that burden. I'm a fan of fertility planning methods and the like to make sure people can avoid pregnancy when they want to, but without actual birth control (whether hormonal or not) you can't also expect to have sex whenever you want and never end up pregnant. Abortion is always an option, but it's mentally taxing and it's not as easy of a solution as birth control.
A good solution would be a way to make women infertile until the moment they want children, instead of male birth control that no man will want to use and won't deter any women from using their own birth control.
I think men should bear the burden because it's biologically easier to control their reproductive function because it sits on the outside (RISUG) eg. So it's more a logically biological point.
From a behavioural aspect yes it won't work because men are not trustworthy and want to impregnate women. RISUG is fully working, reversible and no side effects btw. Wasn't developed in the US and most western world because they'd rather women suffer since that makes more money (8 billion market to be exact) Whereas RISUG is a one time procedure that lasts a decade. There's no recurring revenue there. Half of pharma's women's health portfolio would be wiped lol. But this can only be accomplished in a future society where women actually have the power to make laws.
An example would be male partners must get RISUG from their GP and carry cards that certified by the GP that they've gotten this procedure done. This will allow their female partners to know they indeed had the procedure done etc so they can have other safe sex practices etc but the pregnancy risk is verified.
There's no way to make women infertile temporary. Because of how women's physiology is, I can't even see that developing with any amount of technology. But men's reproduction can be controlled by a dictatorship of proletarian women 🤌🏽👌🏾🫡
FAM only works if you have a regular cycle and are extremely dilligent about taking temps at the same time every day. And your cycle can be thrown off by any stressors in your life and make you ovulate earlier or later. most women don't even have regular cycles much anymore because of the endocrine disruptors in our environment. for now your only option is getting RISUG done in India when it becomes available or something, FAM and condoms if you don't want hormonal bcp. Copper IUDs seem to be extremely toxic to the body which I believe full evidence of its necrosis causing effects will come out in some decade

Israel has a running history of discrimination against its Ethiopian Jew population. Palestinians are not the only people facing racism/discriminations at the hands of that colonial occupation. From questioning their Jewish origins, to giving Ethiopian women depo-povera (sterilizing Jewish Ethiopian women & making them infertile) without their consent/knowledge, to the brutal beating of Damas Pakedeh, to secretly disposing of blood donations by Ethiopian Jews (list goes on).
Israel funded and/or supplied the Rwandan genocide, the Srebrenica genocide, the Mayan Genocide of 1960-1996, Israel's other involvements include the ethnic cleansing of Armenians, the Pinochet Coup in Chile, funding the occupation of Kashmir, extremely close ties with apartheid leaders.

THE BLACK MADONNA.
Isis was a Black African goddess of Nile Valley civilizations whose worship eventually diffused to most of the ancient world.
Isis was worshipped by the Nubians well over 300 years before the first Egyptian dynasty.
The Egyptians then gave the Isis religion to Greece, Rome, and Western Asia.
Gerald Massey says that the religious records of all the worlds religions including Hinduism, Buddhism, and Christianity are nothing more than copies of the religious records of the Black goddess Isis, her son Horus, and her husband Osiris.
For example, Horus was the first child born from a virgin mother's Immaculate Conception, and he was said to have walked on water just as Jesus later did.
The Black goddess Isis is also credited with resurrecting Osiris after he was murdered.
The first "Black Madonna and Child" statutes and portraits were of Isis and Horus, and these were taken throughout the world by the Roman Empire.
When other religions became more popular, these statues were not destroyed, but simply had their names changed.
In India, Isis and Horus became Maya and Buddha in Buddhism or Devaki and Krishna in Hinduism.
The Chinese called Isis Kwa-yin, and the Japanese changed the name to Kwannon.
In his 1985 book entitled "The Cult of the Black Virgin", Ean Begg was able to identify over 450 images of a Black virgin and child in Europe with over 190 statutes in France alone.
J.A. Rogers says that Paris was actually named for Isis because Para-isis means "Place of Isis." He also says that Note Dame means "Our Lady" and that the cathedral is nothing more than an enlargement of the original Isis temple.
Millions of pilgrims visit the Black Madonna shrines annually because they are believed to possess magical powers, although the statues are now called Mary and Jesus.
It is believed that only the Black statues are magical and all pilgrimages stopped whenever the statues were painted white.
The Black Madonnas have been credited with healing towns of plagues, bringing dead babies to life, making infertile women pregnant, and saving nations during wars.
Many crutches have been left at the feet of the Black Madonnas, who presumably gave their owners the power to walk.
One of the most devoted pilgrims of the Black Madonna shrine in Poland is the current Pope John Paul II.
He prayed to her image while recovering from his gun shot wound.
She is credited with thousands of documented miracles including saving Poland from Russia in 1769.
In 1968 alone, the Black Madonna shrine in Poland received over 66,000 thank you letters for healing and other miracles. Pilgrims frequently leave gold watches and rings at the feet of the Black Madonnas in appreciation.
Church literature absolutely refuses to acknowledge any association of Black Madonnas with Africa.
Church officials claim that the Madonnas are Black because of smoke from candles and from dirt and old age.
Church officials would never admit that the ancient Egyptians, Greeks, and Romans made pilgrimages until 536 AD to the Isis temple at Philae, Egypt to seek the same miracles that current pilgrims seek from the Black Madonna shrines.
Isis was recognized as a supreme miracle and magic worker and is also credited with teaching mankind the art of curing disease. Isis was able to restore life to the dead as she did with her husband Osiris and later with the infant Horus, who was brought back to life after he was killed by a scorpion's sting. Isis was the goddess of corn and grain, water and navigation, and even clothing. She was also called a divine granter of salvation for souls of mankind. The ancient Black Egyptians acknowledged Isis as the source of all their prosperity, including the Nile River.
Isis worship was so strong in Europe that Roman citizens ignored Emperors Augustus and Tuberous, who outlawed Isis worship and persecuted her priests.
Emperor Caligulia finally bowed to public pressure and re-established the Isis worship.
Emperor Justinian caused an unsuccessful armed insurrection in 536 AD, when he ordered all Isis temples permanently closed.

UMMID: Spreading Hope and Awareness about Infertility in Rural India
In the quiet corners of rural India, where traditions run deep and modern healthcare often feels out of reach, a silent struggle affects millions of couples: infertility. This pervasive issue, shrouded in myths and stigma, leaves many feeling isolated and hopeless. Recognizing the urgent need for awareness and support, the Spherule Foundation has launched the UMMID Infertility Awareness Project, a nationwide initiative aimed at educating and empowering rural communities.
Infertility is a complex issue that affects both men and women, yet it remains a taboo subject in many rural areas. The lack of awareness and understanding often leads to misconceptions and societal pressure, exacerbating the emotional and psychological burden on couples. The UMMID project seeks to break this silence by providing accurate information, debunking myths, and fostering a supportive environment for those facing fertility challenges.
The project employs a multi-faceted approach to reach its goals. One of the key strategies is conducting workshops and awareness sessions across rural communities. These sessions are designed to be interactive and culturally sensitive, ensuring that the information is accessible and relevant to the audience. By engaging community members through storytelling, expert talks, and Q&A sessions, the project aims to create an open dialogue about infertility and its causes.
A significant aspect of the UMMID project is its focus on ethical awareness regarding Assisted Reproductive Technology (ART) and surrogacy. In many rural areas, poor and uneducated women are often exploited for surrogacy and ART procedures. The project addresses these unethical practices by educating communities about the legal aspects of surrogacy and ART, emphasizing the importance of adherence to existing laws. By raising awareness about the rights and responsibilities of both surrogate mothers and commissioning parents, the project aims to protect vulnerable women from exploitation.
Collaborations with local healthcare providers play a crucial role in the success of the UMMID project. By partnering with healthcare facilities, the project offers free or subsidized fertility screenings and arranges informative talks and counseling sessions with fertility specialists. These collaborations ensure that individuals and couples have access to professional medical advice and support, which is often lacking in rural areas.
Community engagement is at the heart of the UMMID project. Educational materials in local languages are distributed to address infertility causes, treatments, and prevention. Awareness walks and community events encourage participation and foster a sense of solidarity among those affected by infertility. By sharing their stories and experiences, community members can support each other and reduce the stigma associated with infertility.
The impact of the UMMID project is measured through regular reporting and evaluation. Pre- and post-awareness surveys assess changes in knowledge and attitudes, while feedback from participants helps to evaluate the effectiveness of the activities. The project aims to achieve several key outcomes, including increased awareness about infertility, reduction in myths and stigma, ethical awareness of ART, and enhanced community engagement and participation.
The UMMID Infertility Awareness Project is more than just an educational campaign; it is a beacon of hope for countless couples in rural India. By addressing the root causes of infertility and providing much-needed support, the Spherule Foundation is empowering individuals and communities to take control of their reproductive health. Through this initiative, the foundation is not only spreading awareness but also fostering a culture of empathy, understanding, and ethical practices.
For more information about the Spherule Foundation and their programs, visit www.spherule.org or follow them on Facebook, LinkedIn, and Instagram.
This blog post highlights the impactful work of the Spherule Foundation's UMMID Infertility Awareness Project. By focusing on education, ethical practices, and community engagement, the foundation is making a significant difference in the lives of couples facing infertility in rural India.

PCOD vs PCOS: Understanding the Differences and Symptoms
PCOD Vs PCOS Key Differences
PCOD Vs PCOS Do you understand both are same? Many women get confused between the two terms. If you are someone who menstruates, or you have had enough interactions with people who menstruate, you have probably heard of PCOD or PCOS at some point in your life. In fact, despite similarities like being related to the ovaries and causing hormonal disturbances, the two conditions are different.
So let us know further how exactly they are different from each other, and what their causes, treatment, symptoms could be, etc.
What is PCOD:-
PCOD (polycystic ovarian disease) is caused primarily by a combination of hormonal imbalances and genetic predisposition. In a normal menstrual cycle, both ovaries release mature, fertilization-ready eggs in turn each month. However, the ovaries of a person affected by PCOD often release either immature or only partially mature eggs, which can develop into cysts (small sacs filled with fluid).
In PCOD, the ovary starts releasing immature eggs which leads to hormonal imbalance and swelling of the ovaries in addition to some different symptoms, while in PCOS the ovaries produce excess androgens due to endocrine issues, causing ovulation. There is a risk of becoming a CYST. These cysts won’t, however, be released like in PCOD – rather they build up in the ovaries themselves
Main Symptoms of PCOD
Irregular menstrual cycles can be a common concern for many individuals.
Weight gain
Acne and oily skin are common skin concerns
Hair thinning
Feeling tired and worn out.
About 20% of cases (based on data collected on Indian women) may need fertility drugs or other treatments to enhance fertility if they wish to conceive
What is PCOS:-
PCOS (Polycystic Ovary Syndrome) is a metabolic disorder that affects women during their reproductive years, typically between the ages of 12 and 51, and is characterized by hormonal imbalances an increase in male hormones can cause females to skip menstrual periods and experience irregular ovulation, making it difficult to conceive. It can also lead to abnormal hair growth on the body and face. Over time, these issues may increase the risk of heart disease and diabetes. PCOS is a serious medical condition that requires appropriate medical care or surgical intervention.
Main Symptoms of PCOS
Severe menstrual irregularities
Excess facial and body hair (hirsutism)
Persistent acne Obesity or challenges in losing weight
Infertility concerns
Increased risk of diabetes and heart disease
PCOS is among the most prevalent endocrine disorders affecting women, and it can lead to significant issues related to reproductive, metabolic, and overall health.
**Differences Between PCOS and PCOD**
1. **Seriousness of the Condition**
**PCOD**: Generally viewed as a less serious issue. Most cases can be managed through lifestyle adjustments such as a balanced diet, regular exercise, and effective stress management. Medical treatment is not always necessary.
**PCOS**: This is a more serious endocrine disorder that typically requires medical intervention, often involving hormonal therapies to help manage the condition.
2. **Prevalence**
**PCOD**: More prevalent among women, affecting about one-third of all menstruating women worldwide.
**PCOS**: While less common than PCOD, it is not rare. Research from Southern India and Maharashtra indicates that approximately 9.13% of menstruating women in these regions have PCOS, compared to 22.5% with PCOD.
3. **Impact on Fertility**
*PCOD**: Fertility challenges exist but are generally less severe. With lifestyle modifications and minimal medical support, pregnancy is usually achievable
4. **Cause of the Disorder**
**PCOD**: Primarily associated with lifestyle factors such as poor nutrition, stress, and insufficient physical activity.
**PCOS**: This disorder stems from hormonal imbalances within the endocrine system, often linked to genetic predispositions or metabolic issues.
5.**Social Perception and Awareness**
**PCOD and PCOS**: Both conditions face social stigma and misinformation, particularly in Indian culture. As they relate to menstruation and fertility, these topics are often considered taboo, resulting in limited discussions and understanding. This lack of dialogue hinders proper awareness of these prevalent health issues
PCOD and PCOS: Finding the Right Path to Treatment
Treatment for PCOD includes:
Following a balanced diet and cutting down on sugar
Engaging in regular exercise to keep a healthy weight
Managing stress with practices such as yoga or meditation
Taking medications to regulate periods if necessary.
Treatment for PCOS includes:-
Hormonal therapy to help regulate androgen levels,
Addressing metabolic concerns like insulin resistance,
Fertility treatments for women who are planning to conceive,
Lifestyle changes that are similar to those recommended for PCOD
Conclusion:-
Recognizing the distinctions between PCOD and PCOS is essential for effective management. The key difference lies in the fact that PCOD typically involves less severe hormonal imbalances and can often be addressed through lifestyle adjustments, whereas PCOS is a more intricate condition that necessitates both medical intervention and lifestyle changes. Suppose you are facing symptoms and are uncertain about the differences between PCOS and PCOD. In that case, it is advisable to seek guidance from a healthcare professional for an accurate diagnosis and tailored care plan.
