Hawthornfrost x Rosewoodspring kits:

Glasswortkit: silvery-white tom with light gray tabby stripes and moss green eyes

Indigokit: light brown tom with white splotches on his face and body, a white tail, and purplish-blue eyes

Sassafraskit: silvery-white she-cat with dark brown tabby stripes and pinkish-red eyes

Celadinekit: speckled white-brown cream-point she-cat with brown eyes

Loquatkit: dark brown tabby tom with a white underbelly, white splotches on his face, chest, and body, and moss green eyes

All of the names are references to Rosewoodspring's siblings!

-Glasswort is a plant in the same family as amaranth

-Indigo is a reference to the indigo milk-cap mushroom, which is in the same family as the weeping milk-cap mushroom

-Sassafras trees are in the same family as spicebush trees

-Celadine is a flower in the poppy family

-Loquat is a fruit in the same family as the raspberry

They all look like their granddads and one half-uncle! Glasswortkit and Sassafraskit are Webstripe clones, Indigokit is a Fadingstar clone, Celadinekit is a Fleathistle clone, and Loquatkit is a Perchclaw clone!

overall, a calm and quiet season for windclan.

whitetail has a litter of kits: echokit (cream tom), noddingkit (light brown calico she-cat with long fur), indigokit (she-cat with white spots), and thriftkit (smokey she-cat)

when oakheart took in the kits he really didn't like. rename them or anything and i think thats dumb for MULTIPLE reasons first of all thunderclan KNEW bluestar’s kits’ names. two apprentices showing up in riverclan with the SAME NAMES and being the age bluestars kits would have been is just a dead giveaway.  secondly imagine the opportunities. oakheart could have named stonekit or mistykit something that was important to him, like bluefur. he could have called one stormkit after his brother, or shellkit after his father. he might have called one indigokit to remind him of bluefur herself, or lightingkit to remind him of her family. there are so many other directions it could have gone

sleetface and noddingpaw die.

sparrowtail becomes a warrior.

juniperpaw, streampaw, and lacepaw are apprenticed to nightflower, dovewing, and agoseristail. (dovewing with the intention of integrating her into shadowclan.)

indigokit dies.

baystripe and poplarface have one kit, shadekit (skinny, blue-grey calico she-cat with long fur), but baystripe dies in kitting, so yellowtail moves into the nursery to raise shadekit.

windclan — year eight — leaffall

windclan loses their leader, and shadestar appoints nightcloud as deputy. but they lose no warriors.

ridgepaw is apprenticed to shadestar; cypresskit dies.

(rosekit also dies.)

whitetail and banesnap have five kits: icekit (white she-cat), indigokit (very pale calico she-cat), yewkit (smoke and white she-cat), poplarkit (white and pale red tom with long fur), and alderkit (ticked tabby she-cat).

shadowclan — year eight — greenleaf

if shadowclan's population doesn't self regulate soon, i'm going to just kidnap half of them. fuck you, shadowclan, for being so damn large and not dying. blackstar is nearly 11. since he took leadership, riverclan has been lead by leopardstar, stonestar, mistystar, blackstar, featherstar, and hawkstar. riverclan has gone through 5 leaders, and blackstar still has stupidly many lives oh my god. he's wbcd's mistystar. or firestar. shadowclan oh my god. at least this is dice and not me not wanting to kill characters. i would like to kill them.

anyway, moving on.

showerwing becomes a warrior. sagepaw dies, along with pearlpaw. mistpaw and sparrowpaw are apprenticed to tawnypelt and dawnpelt.

pinekit dies.

agoseristail and nightflower have a litter of kits: juniperkit (massive she-cat with faint stripes), indigokit (pale tom), streamkit (thin, lithe she-cat with dark grey and white patches), hoodkit (black and white tom with faint stripes and pale eyes), and lacekit (smoky grey she-cat).

i swear, shadowclan is on fertility drugs or something.

uhh idk sol finally dies. look the thing is like. you know the sol plot i know the sol plot. but what breaks shadowclan is that he gets two elders and a kit (stumpytail, applefur, and indigokit) killed. probably by being selfish during the drought.

sappaw, agoserispaw, and baypaw are apprenticed to rowanclaw, blackstar, and snowbird.

and tawnypelt has another litter, sagekit (light brown and white tom with dark flecks and dark eyes), showerkit (cream tom), and poplarkit (black and grey she-cat)
