💔🐾My Groovies, please be patient with my shipping times this week. We have suffered a loss in our home. This is not how we expected this story to end. My little girl. My sweet Turtle. She is no longer in pain. She was only 10. The renal failure came on extremely fast, and extremely strong. She had so much fight, and this was a total shock. When we took her to the vet today, we imagined she had a stomach bug or an invisible injury. That was not the case. The vet was devastated by giving us this news. He had never seen a cat with so much “life” have such bad levels. No amount of surgery or treatment would have saved her, and bringing her home to cry, suffer, starve, and further dehydrate would’ve been beyond cruel. Today we genuinely expected to find out she had a cold. We did not expect to say goodbye to our baby. Please respect how shocked and heartbroken we are and save all of your personal texts, calls, and private messages for later on this week. We aren’t ready. We would never be ready, but we especially were not prepared for anything like this. She was so incredibly loved. I keep expecting to find her in my pajama drawer, or for her to sing us the song of her people after killing a camel cricket or a sock. Be in peace, my best pal. I loved you more than anything, and you will be missed more than I can ever explain in words. If you’ve ordered yarn in the last update, it will ship soon. Someone is officially perfectly healthy and is joining our family. And her name is... TROUBLE!!!! She deserves it. Thank you to all who have made this week’s update a huge success! A few of these Smoothly Groovin’ “Emo Little Pony” are all that have survived the frenzy this far. It’s the first base I ever dyed this colorway on, and by far the most nuanced when it comes to color distribution. It is the shiniest, softest, drapiest of yarns.
