Always ready to fight Brody shifted his feet subconsciously into a more defendable position as the man he'd started shit with moved to shove against his muscular chest, sending him only a step back. Without missing so much as a beat Brody shoved the other back, a few choice words leaving his lips as he cussed the other out. "Don't fucking push me man, I'll knock you the fuck out," he warned hotly, blue eyes fierce as a smaller body moved between him and the other guy, seemingly to end their flight before it had truly started. He shifted on his feet, movements easy and experienced with a fight, hands clenching and unclenching as they hung at his sides.

open starter!! open to - supernaturals, mutants, humans with paranormal abilities, medical staff, etc pretty much anything goes as long as you can give your muse a reason to be here plot: y/m & indigo were kidnapped by/volunteered to join/convinced to join (whatever fits best) an underground program studying supernatural beings, mutants, and other paranormal phenomena; the program is brutal and rigorous, keeping them locked away in an underground facility even they don't know the location of or how to get in or out, our muses may know what's being studied or maybe they've no idea why they're here or what's really going on underneath the harsh conditions // alternatively, your muse could be a lab rat working for The Program, maybe helps Indigo escape when they find out what kind of "tests" they've been putting xem through, learns more about xem and develops empathy/other feelings, etc i just need some sci-fi shit man

Pills are thrown back and a disgusting vitamin-packed liquid swallowed down along with them causing Indy to grimace. A shudder, nearly gagging on the taste as the giant pills squeeze down their esophagus. They swallow, clear their throat and cough against a fist. Lip curls, gaze barely flashing up to view the other. A spoonful of the sorry excuse for food on his plate is scooped up and slowly poured back into the pile of space slop as he stares at it blankly.

"I'm getting real tired of...whatever this shit is," he grumbles plainly. Fingertips release the spoon, letting it clatter against his tray. A quirked brow when his gaze meets the other's again. "Honestly, at this point, I'd almost rather them just pump nutrients through a damn tube. At least then I wouldn't have t' taste it." Exhaustion shines in those colourless eyes, drained of what sparkle they used to carry, though it's clear he's trying to act a little sane. Make some kind of small talk, even though he hates small talk...Interaction with others wasn't a frequent luxury, so he'd take what little normal-adjacent conversation he could get.

cyan.  magenta.  neon  hues  cascade  down  the  walls  in   waterfall  waves,  overlapping  into  violet.  so  much  colored   light  for  a  city  that's  rotting, decaying  to  its  core.  silently,  sev moves  through  the  space  like  a  shark  following  the scent  of  blood.  clusters  of  data  in  his  mind,  leading  him towards  the  target  at  the  end  of  the  hall.

"You can't just expect me to sit back while some other man has his hands all over you," Brody said in a low and almost growled tone, blue eyes fierce as they fixed the other with a glare, his one hand moving out to gesture towards the party just on the other side of the door he'd closed only a few seconds ago. He'd dragged the other away as discreetly as he could while his blood boiled. It was obvious he was angry, not entirely at the other but certainly at the fact he was fucking jealous.

He pressed a step closer to them, wanting nothing more than to put his own hands on them, catch their mouth with his in some act of possessive hunger that thrummed through his veins just as strongly as the jealousy someone else got to touch them in public and he couldn't. A heated breath left his parted lips as he dropped his hand back to his side, flexing his fingers before he swept in closer to the other, their scent filling his senses calming him a little. "-- that prick is lucky I didn't break his fucking jaw." He added in a quieter voice than before but no less low. They both were lucky Brody had control of his anger and jealousy this time around or else that other man would have been on the floor, bloodied and broken from Brody's violent jealousy.
