Hello <33 I'm trying to come up with a title for my fluff self-insert, but I'd like some better ideas for a title. Basically it's about curiosity and the inexperienced touching of another you're attracted to, a fiery type of heat as they fall in love with the sanctity in each other's trust and clothed adoration.

You’ve seen the new Flight Rising familiar for Starfall Celebration, yeah? The flowers being asters make sense for the Arcane flight’s link to stars, but what can you share with us about the snake? Seems to me it might be based on an Indian cobra.

Definitely looks to be based on an Indian cobra, yep!

A few fun facts about Indian cobras (Naja naja):

They're also called "spectacled" cobras! The name comes from the marking on the back of their hood, which is usually two circles connected by a curved line, like a pair of spectacles drawn with a bit of artistic license. The spots are meant to look like eyes to confuse predators.

They have pretty big hoods, even by cobra standards! They can spread them out really dang wide.

I love seeing them with their hoods down because they always look vaguely confused as to what they're doing.

Indian cobras are among the only true cobras who cannot "spit" venom (the other species that can't is the Caspian cobra).

Baby cobras are the cutest things ever. Look at this baby!

What are some plants that you'd suggest i should work on adding to my yard to help bring back the plants that are supposed to be here or at least that are needed here in the bluegrass?? I know I've seen you post about cane but in addition to that what else would you recommend?

Oak trees are keystone species, utilized as a host plant for some 400 butterfly and moth species.

We unfortunately know little about how the Bluegrass was before colonization, but it was an open woodland to savanna like environment with huge oaks.

Native grasses: Big Bluestem, Bottlebrush grass, Indian grass, River Oats are some of great importance.

Wildflowers: Goldenrod is king, being a vital host plant for larvae *and* a great food source for bees. Ironweed is also great. But if you are in the Bluegrass, you will certainly get goldenrod and ironweed everywhere by year 2 if you simply stop mowing an area. People make the mistake of thinking that the year 1 growth of an unmowed area is just how it's going to look. It's the second year where you get asters and goldenrod.

Rattlesnake master (Eryngium) is a good plant. I also highly recommend milkweeds. They are important to 400+ insect species, not just monarchs.

Eastern Red Cedar is another great tree, though they are not at all rare as things stand, birds love them. Spicebush (good native alternative to forsythia).

I would say a couple species of milkweed, rattlesnake master, and your choice of native prairie grasses are worth buying. Asters, ironweed, and goldenrod will very much show up on their own, though it will likely take until the second spring after your last time mowing a spot
