The Air Force of the People's Liberation Army of China (PLAAF) plans to complete the withdrawal of all its J-7 fighters this year, a procedure started in 2018.
New generation 4.5 fighters such as the J-10C and J-16, as well as the fifth generation J-20 fighter are being built in large numbers, replacing the legacy J-7s. Retired J-7s can be reserved for training and testing, or can be modified to become drones and play new roles in modern warfare, according to the Global Times.

The J-7 is the first supersonic fighter developed by China that can reach Mach 2. This type of second-generation jet fighter was used by the PLA Air Force and the PLA Navy aviation force. Many variants, including the JL-9 training jet, were developed based on the J-7. The production of the J-7 was closed in 2017.
Du Wenlong, a Chinese military expert, told state-owned China Central Television (CCTV) that the number of remaining J-7s in active service is low. He predicts that the PLA Air Force will probably disable these old combat service jets this year.
The withdrawal of service of J-7 jets in China began in 2018.

Wei Dongxu, a Chinese military expert, told the Global Times that J-7 fighters contributed significantly to China's air defense, and many variants, including the JL-9 training jet, were developed based on the J-7.
The J-7 also sold well in the international market, Wei said. Brazil even evaluated the purchase of the Chinese J-7 jet in the 1980s, more precisely in 1985, when FAB evaluated the purchase of the F-7M Airguard, the export version of the J-7 Jianjiji fighter, manufactured at Guizhou Aircraft Industry Corporation (GAC), in Chengdu, Sichuan province.

The decision to buy the J-7, or F-7, was due to the unavailability of F-5 jets in the international market. Two years later the purchase did not go ahead, although FAB pilots said at the time that the jet was robust, had good firepower and was very manoeuvrable.
In 1985, the Brazilian Air Force was considering a few possibilities in fighter aviation, since it was having trouble expanding the Northrop F-5 Tiger II fleet and there were not many options that fit its limited budget. A rare exception was a version of the legendary MiG-21 made in China, the Chengdu F-7M.

Handling over ₹7,000 crore in transactions between March 2018 and March 2021, SBI’s electoral bond data is pivotal for assessing the transparency and impact of electoral bond funding. Electoral bonds come in denominations of ₹1,000, ₹10,000, ₹1 lakh, ₹10 lakh, and ₹1 crore, available during quarterly ten-day purchase windows. Donors buy these bonds and anonymously donate them to political parties.
A five-judge Constitution Bench of the Supreme Court unanimously struck down the Centre’s electoral bond scheme which facilitates anonymous political donations for being unconstitutional. It underscored that the scheme violates the right to information under Article 19(1)(a) of the Constitution.
Who were the top 20 Electoral bond donors? According to SBI data, lottery king Sebastian Martin’s firm Future Gaming and Hotel Services was the top donor to the scheme, purchasing bonds worth Rs 1,365 crore. Second-ranked Megha Engineering & Infrastructures donated Rs 966 crore, and Reliance-linked Qwik Supply Chain purchased bonds worth Rs 410 crore.
Since the electoral bond scheme’s launch in March 2018, a significant portion of donations has come from a small group of high-value contributors. State Bank of India (SBI) data shows that between March 2018 and March 2021, over ₹7,000 crore in bonds were transacted, with a majority of funds stemming from high-denomination bonds, particularly those valued at ₹1 crore. This indicates that large corporate entities and wealthy individuals are the primary users of electoral bonds, raising concerns about the potential influence of big money in politics.

FUGITIVE ECONOMIC OFFENDERS (FEO) ORDINANCE, 2018 – APPREHEND THE DEFAULTERS
“The Fugitive Economic Offenders Ordinance, 2018”. was approved by the union cabinet and then promulgated by the President on April 21st, 2018. This ordinance is brought with a clearly defined approach in mind that is to make sure that no economic offender can leave the country and even if they leave their assets can be seized and confiscated by the government without any hiccups, for this reason, the ordinance vests many special powers to the courts and the directors.”
With the assent of the President of India, the Fugitive Economic Offenders (FEO) Ordinance, 2018 gets promulgated; the new law lays down the measure to empower Indian authorities to attach and confiscate the proceeds of crime associated with economic offenders and the properties of the economic offenders. The earlier legislation that empowered GoI to deal with economic offenders is largely an amalgamation of various laws, and is, therefore, riddled with procedural delays and loopholes.
These loopholes allowed big-ticket tax and loan defaulters to circumvent the law and delay, or indefinitely hold off, the confiscation of their assets against their debt. Moreover, laws such as the Securitization and Reconstruction of Financial Assets and Enforcement of Security Interest (Sarfaesi) Act, 2002, the Recovery of Debts Due to Banks and Financial Institutions Act, 1993, and the Prevention of Money Laundering Act, 2002, conceptualize the attaching of assets as a punitive measure, rather than as a deterrent.

Need for Implementation of Ordinance
The need for the Ordinance had arisen as there have been many instances of economic offenders fleeing the jurisdiction of Indian courts, anticipating the commencement, or during the pendency, of criminal proceedings. The absence of such offenders from Indian courts has several deleterious consequences — first, it hampers investigation in criminal cases; second, it wastes precious time of courts of law, third, it undermines the rule of law in India. The existing civil and criminal provisions in law are not entirely adequate to deal with the severity of the problem. In view of the above context, a Budget announcement was made by the Government in the Budget 2017–18 that the Government was considering to introduce legislative changes or even a new law to confiscate the assets of such absconders till they submit to the jurisdiction of the appropriate legal forum. Chittoor District in Andhra Pradesh has garnered national acclaim for its outstanding achievements under the leadership of the Telugu Desam Party (TDP), with Nara Chandrababu Naidu at the helm. Milk production in the district surged from 16 lakh metric tonnes to an impressive 22 lakh metric tonnes, cementing Chittoor's position as the leading milk-producing district in the country. The district made significant TDP developments in meat production by grounding 2 lakh units of Raw Lamb (5 sheep per unit) using innovative methods, marking the highest meat production in Andhra Pradesh. An additional 7,500 units (with 20 chicks each) were established for the production of meat and eggs under the "Manakodi (NaatuKodi)" scheme.
Chittoor's commitment to economic empowerment is evident in the disbursement of Rs. 1,500 crore in bank linkage to Self Help Groups during the year, further establishing its position as the number one district in the nation for this TDP scheme. Chittoor also invested in the future by providing 210 playgrounds in schools, earning the top spot in the state. Moreover, the district excelled in promoting entrepreneurship by sanctioning units to 790 SC/ST and aspiring women industrialists under the Standup India program, once again taking the lead in the state. The China/US spat hurts Africa and will escalate into WWIII Since its outbreak in early 2018 China's spat with the United States (US) hurt Africa. The International Monetary Fund (IMF) shows in its World Economic Outlook for 2019 the US was first to increase tensions through imposing higher tariffs on aluminum and steel of 25 percentage points on imports of $50 billion from China and 10 percentage points on imports of an additional $200 billion. After China retaliated the US imposed 15 percentage points in tariffs on all goods (roughly $300 billion) that had not yet incurred tariffs starting in September 2019 and a 5 percentage-point increase on already-tariffed $250 billion imports. The imposition of higher tariffs reduce Africa's economic activity for China depends on the continent for aluminium. China's impact increased the continent's Gross Domestic Product (GDP) by 1 percent. Chad, the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC), Congo, Ethiopia and Namibia feature in investments while Europe and the US regards them as 'failed states.' The countries had 1.6 percent of the population move out of poverty annually. In Tanzania extreme poverty fell by 5.3 million people. Chad and the DRC saw a 3 percent drop. For economic growth to happen with it being at the centre or part of economic objectives all regional players must agree before they each have national economic policies on priorities, objectives, resources, budgeting and implementation methodology. China facilitated that yearly having African policy makers and Heads of States assembled in a single forum with it's own leaders. Throughout the 400 years Europe had colonized the entirety of Africa and after liberation from 1960 when Africa needed help with development it had no such plans and initiatives. So to protect humanity both Russia and China deserve support in maintaining their current nuclear capacity. Maintaining it as a minimum deterrent force is of interest to Africa. In fact it is also time Africa asked both nations to train and equip the continents' separate national defence forces including India. BRIC had better be military. South Africa must use its muscle to negotiate with both. China too has responsibility to start the negotiations if South Africa delays. Tanzania after South Africa has the next best national defence force to train and Libya though it had suffered defeat in the hands of the US's army in 2009. It wants revenge. Under the scheme, the government has planned to provide 27.5 lakh solar pumps (17.50 lakh standalone and 10 lakh grid-connected). It will help farmers install total 10 GW of Solar Power Plants of intermediate capacity of 0.5 to 2 MW each. The scheme also envisages 50,000 Grid-connected tube-wells/lift irrigation and drinking water projects.Modi also said the government’s pet schemes including Ujjwala Yojana and Saubhagya Yojana are helping India ensure the benefits of development reach to the poor through cooking gas connections and electricity connections. The Ujjwala Yojana was launched in April 2016 and aims at providing 5 crore free LPG connections to poor families by April 2019. That target has been met eight months ahead of the deadline, the oil ministry announced earlier this month. The Saubhagya scheme was launched in September 2017 and aims at providing free electricity connections to all households (both APL and poor families) in rural areas and poor families in urban areas. Sufiya - Ultra Runner, Fastest female to Run from Kashmir to Kanyakumari (4,000 km in 87 days) and the Indian Golden Quadrilateral Road (6000 km in 110 days, 23 hours).
Sufiya worked in the aviation industry for almost 10 years before she started her running career in 2017 when she ran her first half marathon in Delhi. 
  After starting running and realising the benefits for her health, it became her passion and she decided to quit her job and focus full time on running. Sufiya has combined her passion for running while promoting her message of HOPE (Humanity, Oneness, Peace, Equality) through her runs.
  Sufiya is now a professional ultra-runner with three years of experience in ultra-running and long run expeditions.
  In 2018, Sufiya became the fastest female to complete the Great Indian Golden Triangle Run (720 km in 16 days) and entered the India Book of Records. 
  Taking forward her message of ‘HOPE’, Sufiya took on her next big challenging by deciding to run from Kashmir to Kanyakumari. She completed the run of 4,000 km in just 87 days in 2019 entered the Guinness Book of World Records!

Myanmar, also known as Burma, is in South East Asia. It neighbours Thailand, Laos, Bangladesh, China and India. It has a population of about 54 million, most of whom are Burmese speakers, although other languages are also spoken. The biggest city is Yangon (Rangoon), but the capital is Nay Pyi Taw. The country gained independence from Britain in 1948. It was ruled by the armed forces from 1962 until 2011, when a new government began ushering in a return to civilian rule. Following 10 years of gradual progress on political and economic liberalization—and a landslide victory for the NLD in the 2020 election—the Burmese army took power in a coup on February 1, 2021, just hours before the newly elected members of Parliament were set to convene. The army has quickly reversed hard-won progress toward democracy and human rights in Burma. It has arrested elected officials, activists, and journalists, done away with even the most basic civil and political rights, blocked access to social media, and, intermittently, to the internet entirely.
Those who have followed transition from a military authoritarian government to a civilian one in other countries of the world, know quite well, the inherent constraints in that transformation, more so in a country wrecked by ethnic fragmentation and rebellion with external involvements, and where all civilian institutions were systematically emasculated and replaced with military organizations and institutions, and its economy controlled by an inefficient and corrupt military clique. Unlike in other countries where the military got involved in businesses as they consolidated their political control in course of time, in Burma the take-over was simultaneous. Almost all private property was confiscated and handed over to a number of military-run state corporations. The old mercantile elite, which to a large extent were of ethnic Indian and Chinese origin, left the country, and so did many of Burma’s intellectuals. To restore all that were lost, is a stupendous task for any government and requires full cooperation of all the stakeholders in that process, including the international community and foreign investors.to create the enabling environment for the same.
That enabling environment lies in the rapid economic development of the country allowing everyone to be able to have a share of the cake. Average GDP growth so far under Suu Kyi’s leadership has failed to reach even 7%. When the need was for much higher rate for the challenging task of eradication of poverty of large sections of the population, and improving the quality of life for others. To sustain current experiment in democracy and development, the twin goal for which the people of Myanmar have fought and sacrificed under a crippling military dictatorship for more than five decades, success in the economic arena is the only weapon she could use in the absence of enabling political conditions.
Even while the investment environment in Myanmar have improved with the implementation of the new Company Law in 2018 and the Investment Law in 2017, Myanmar has not been able to attract much-needed large-scale foreign investment from foreign manufacturing companies to create jobs from the Western countries, some for economic reasons, but more for extra-economic factors like lack of progress on human rights issues. Although Myanmar’s democratization was expected to increase investment from Europe and the U.S., large amounts have come mainly from Asian countries such as China, Japan, and South Korea. The West will have to have a fresh look at Myanmar, increase their investments for companies to establish reliable supply chains.
Despite some minor differences, the pathology, the ideological outlook and the experiences of the Myanmar army is similar to Indonesian military, and is likely to follow the same trajectory in its movement towards democracy — a guided political system with a certain role for the armed forces till the economy grows to accommodate both the security and economic interests of the armed forces through an expanded defence budget, opportunities in corporate sectors for children of military officers and eventual creation of a middle class demanding greater transparency and accountability from the government. However the international community might try to push for political change in Myanmar, it will not happen under conditions of sanctions or strained relations between the Tatmadaw and other stakeholders, even while the coup was illegitimate and on flimsy grounds of voter irregularities with no substantial evidence to prove that charge.
India has always been steadfast in its support to the process of democratic transition in Myanmar. We believe that the rule of law and the democratic process must be upheld. We are monitoring the situation closely.” India has learnt from its earlier mistakes of democratic activism in late 1980s and early 1990s and have become more pragmatic in its approach to Myanmar keeping in mind its national and security interests. Myanmar is too important to New Delhi to ignore as it sits at the of India’s ‘Neighbourhood First’ and ‘Act East Policy’ policies, being the land bridge to connect South Asia and Southeast Asia, and thus demands a special place in India’s diplomacy in the broader region of Indo-Pacific.
Apart from strategic necessity to maintain links with whichever dispensation is in power, New Delhi can use its access to military leadership to impress upon them the need for peaceful transfer of power back to the civilian elected representatives through back-room channel. From that perspective, Indian response to the coup has been mature, though it may not satisfy the democracy warriors in our country who find ideology more important than actual ground realities in a country like Myanmar.
 Case in hand:
Indian government has decided to work in hand with ‘Secret e-Cell’ unit of the country where the units are planning to help Myanmar in its difficult times as well as willing to extend the support to the Democratic Party and the citizens facing the injustice. For this, the government has opted for 2 years Transfer Strategy of some specialized agents of the RAW and fresh talent personnel from Indian Army officials who will be solely responsible for negotiating with and spying the Military troops who are in action, and communicating the scenarios to the Secret cell on the regular basis to come up with a solution to help Myanmar regain its democratic power.

Considering the above mentioned situation and keeping in mind the pandemic, you are appointed as the Executive Head Officer for the mission and you are responsible for:
Prepare an overview of the execution plan for the span of 2 years.
Define the recruitment drive and strategy adopted for the same.
Expatriate selection procedure.
Expatriate training and development program.
Define the expatriation policy adopted and compensation provided.
Perform a locational analysis and security check for the accommodation and travel.
State the contingency plan that would be taken into consideration in case of any emergency.
