akhand bharat is so funny to me as a concept because i know the hindutva club want it so they can #MakeTheIndianSubcontinentHinduAgain and kill all the muslims christians etc who don’t convert or whatever but if it wasn’t for the supremacism of it all i wouldn’t be opposed to indian subcontinent being one big piece of land again i.e. never partitioned where there’s no constant fighting about borders

the loud voice in my brain: the tension between nolan and john is tangible, and their relationship is probably the strongest one in bloodline. nolan is eager to meet his extended family and uncover the events leading up to his dad's death. danny might have been an absent father, but he really did care about nolan. when john, danny's brother, finds nolan on his doorstep, the older man is threatened by an unfamiliar presence who wants answers. john refuses to give nolan the information that he wants, choosing to preserve his own privacy and sanity. the lack of cooperation doesn't discourage nolan from reaching justice. if anything, john's skittish behavior intrigues nolan because it means the older man is hiding something. john miserably views nolan as a burden to get rid of, whereas nolan indulges in toying with john and disrupting his marriage and family unit in the pursuit of answers. this turbulent shift in john's life - solely caused by nolan - forces him to consider the value of truth. moments of muted hostility and unease between the two amplify their hatred towards each other, but also their individual delight in maintaining power over the other person.
the louder voice in my brain: nolan wants to fuck that old man

Mana: Leading the Way as India's First Village
Mana, located in Uttarakhand's Chamoli district shares a border with China. The Border Roads Organisation (BRO) placed a signboard at the border village of “Mana” in Uttarakhand, declaring it to be the “First Indian Village.”
It is in the beautiful Chamoli district of Uttarakhand, situated at an altitude of 3,200 meters. It's a special place because it's the first village on the way to the Mana Pass, just 26 kilometers from the border of India and Tibet.
Mana is more than just a village; it's a place rich in culture, closely linked to the nearby Hindu pilgrimage site of Badrinath, only 3 kilometers away. The people of Mana are proud of their traditions, which are connected to the spiritual importance of Badrinath.
The journey to Mana is as beautiful as the village itself. Travelers travel along National Highway 7, which offers stunning views of the mountains and valleys. As they near Mana, they see traditional wooden houses. Hindi and Garhwali language is used over here . The village also serves as a starting point for exploring other amazing places in Uttarakhand, making it a must-visit for those looking for both natural beauty and cultural experiences.
📍 LOCATION: Chamoli district of Uttarakhand, India, near the border of India and Tibet.

Shein controversies are so fucking wild. I'm making a PPT for my seminar and I have no tension about reaching the minimum slides requirements. And I wonder why people still use it. I understand the “cheap” part. But what about the harmful chemicals and lead in the clothes? Or forced labour? Or design theft? Etc…. There are many other cheaper and more sustainable alternatives. I would use them.
And those “influencers” who buy Shein in bulk and then throw them away?! And now making “sheglam” famous. In return for what? Your own health? Those poor labours’ life?
