incantava + secret hooking up AU
TUESDAY3:05
Eleonora wanted to lie to herself and say, that she was surprised to wake up to buzzing of her phone. A quick of her phone told her that it was already almost three in the morning - and that the caller was Edoardo. Fuck, it was a stupid cycle that Eleonora wanted to break herself out of; and yet she could feel butterflies making her stomach turn upside down when she grabbed her phone and answered. It was a familiar little game, a little cycle, of theirs; sometimes it was Eleonora calling, sometimes it was Edoardo. All that remained the same each time was the outcome.
“Hi, Edoardo,” Eleonora said, her soft voice groggy with sleep. On the other end of the line, Edoardo smiled at the sound of that.
“Aah, fuck,” Edoardo stretched out his words. He paused for a moment, which indicated that he was smoking. “Were you asleep?”
Eleonora laughed and pushed her hair out of her face. “You mean like normal people at three in the morning?”
And even though she didn’t see him, Eleonora knew Edoardo was smiling that dumb, dumb, huge smile of his that made his eyes twinkle and his nose scrunch. “Should I hang up then, Sava?”
Eleonora paused, trying to figure out her next move. She knew that this was the moment that defined what would happen next, where she would find herself the next morning. And she had psyched herself up for this phone call for days now, knowing that it was coming. Eleonora could feel herself slipping back into the dreaded cycle.
And when she opened her mouth, all that came out was: “Well, you already woke me up. Make it count.”
There was a smile in Edoardo’s voice when he said: “I miss you in my bed.”
Eleonora played with her hair, shivering slightly at Edoardo’s words.  The thought of seeing him again made Eleonora’s stomach turn, and she couldn’t quite recognize whether it was in an anxious or an anticipatory way. The last time she had seen him, she had been naked, wrapped up in Edoardo’s white sheets, her skin burning as Edoardo’s lips had made their way down her neck, down her chest, down her stomach, down her-
That night Eleonora had sworn it was the last time, she had sworn she wouldn’t fall again, all the while Edoardo had ripped off her clothes, drowning her words in his burning kisses. And it had been the last time… Until the next morning, when Eleonora had woken up in Edoardo’s sheets, naked, and the mere sight of him in the soft morning light had been enough for her to fall again. Fuck.
TUESDAY3:59
Edoardo opened his door, a smile climbing up on his lips when his eyes set on Eleonora, with her brown her pulled up, an oversized hoodie on her that Edoardo recognised to be one of his own. The boy raised his eyebrows at the sight of it. “We’re stealing clothes now?”
Eleonora glanced down at her chest like she was just recognising what she was wearing. She shrugged, wrapping her arms around herself. “Well, you sort of ruined my top that one night.”
Edoardo tilted his head, flashes of the night Eleonora was referring to going through his brain; the girl had been wearing a green top, the fabric silky, slippery and so very fragile. Edoardo could remember flashes of his own hands ripping at the fabric, too impatient on being gentle with Eleonora’s clothing. He could remember the top - or what now was but a ruined piece of fabric - on his floor. The memory made him grin.
“You mean the night I literally ripped your clothes off of you?” Edoardo teased, laughing as he stepped aside to let Eleonora properly in. He could hear Eleonora saying something under her breath, something along the lines of “her favorite top”, but neither of them addressed her words any further.
Edoardo stepped closer to Eleonora as she dropped her small bag on the floor, his eyes suddenly inquisitive on hers. “I should probably do it more often,” he said softly, glancing again at Eleonora’s appearance. “I like the way you look in my clothes.”
Eleonora could feel a shiver running down her spine, and once again she wasn’t sure how to respond. It was one of those moments they had every now and then, where either of them said something that wasn’t so careless anymore - something that referred to something deeper, something more than what they had. And each time they’d freeze, regretting their words, scared that they had crossed a line. And each time Eleonora got a flutter in her stomach, though the mere thought of having anything more than sex with Edoardo Incanti felt as possible as flying pigs.
The rules in their “relationship” had never been addressed, but both of them constantly felt like they were breaking them; Edoardo felt like he was breaking them each time he looked at Eleonora asleep in his arms, the warmth in his chest only making him feel more guilty. Fuck, he never wanted her to leave once he had her close.
“Listen, I know I said that the last time was the last time,” Eleonora said when Edoardo made his way to the living room, where he sat on one of the armchairs. “But I think we really should stop.”
Edoardo tilted his head again, and he propped himself to a more proper posture on the armchair. He signaled for Eleonora to come closer, and he was happy too see that she did. Eleonora didn’t stop until she was almost standing between Edoardo’s legs, close enough to hear his breaths. They were almost the same height like this, with Edoardo sitting down, and the sight of it made the boy smile.
“You don’t have to worry about it,” Edoardo said softly, his hand touching Eleonora’s. “As long as you feel comfortable, we’re good.”
Eleonora’s hand rose from her side. She touched Edoardo’s face gently, stroking at his cheek. Her other hand did the same, until her both hands were cupping Edoardo’s face - her hands looked awfully small and dainty on him. Eleonora leaned down slightly to press a kiss on Edoardo’s lips, and as soon as she did, they were both on fire. And though the fire lit slowly and spread even more slowly, there was no denying the burn - it was taking over Edoardo, burning away the chills of the cool night.
“Thank you,” Eleonora whispered, unsure. “This can be the last time. We don’t have to keep falling into the same… Cycle. You deserve better.”
Edoardo’s hand made its way to Eleonora’s waist, and he pulled the girl on him, sitting astride on his lap. Eleonora’s fingers tangled their way into Edoardo’s curls, and his arms locked around her upper back and waist like he was scared that she’d disappear from under his touch. Maybe she would, sooner than he’d like. If Edoardo could have his way, he’d have Eleonora every night, he’d have the burn, he’d have the best possible reason to open his eyes in the morning. Fuck, he wanted her in so many ways.
“This doesn’t have to be the last time,” Edoardo murmured against Eleonora’s lips, breathless. He didn’t care even if he did deserve better than this, this cycle, this habit that many would deem bad. Fuck, he’d take the cycle over and over and if it meant having her.

Imagine an Incantava au where they get in a car accident or something which causes Eleonora to lose her memory from the past few months. So she still thinks Edo is an asshole and then he has to make her fall in love with him all over again

I don’t like you
Summary: Eleonora and Edoardo share their first kiss in the rain and Eleonora has to decide what happens next. And most of all: she has to admit that she does like him. More than she ever thought she would.
Pairing: Eleonora Sava x Edoardo Incanti
Word Count: 1,7k
A/N: I haven’t written anything in nearly three years but after this cinematic masterpiece of a kiss I desperately wanted to write again. So this happened! English is not my first language tho so please bear with me <3
Tumblr media
The rain was still pouring down on them when they finally separated. Edoardo was still holding Eleonoras face in his hands, cupping her cheeks carefully between his warm fingers as if he was holding some ancient dear to his heart statue that could break the second he let go of it. His thumbs were lazily caressing over her skin, running up and down her jawbone and then stopping right at her lips. Almost without realizing it, Eleonora planted a soft kiss against Edoardos fingers which made the latter let out a quiet chuckle.
“You don’t like me, huh?” he asked her and closed the gap between them again. His nose brushed against hers, his hands moving from her face to her neck so he was able to tilt her head a little bit and give himself better access to her lips before their mouths finally reconnected again. Kissing Edoardo Incanti felt like watching a storm from the warm and safe comfort of your house. It was like watching the raindrops drumming against your window, demanding to be let in. It was wild and dangerous and untameable and at the same time, it felt safe and secure. It felt like coming home. It felt like being able to smile again after holding it back for an eternity.
“Not even a little bit”, Eleonora repeated her words from earlier and smiled broadly at him. It had only been a few minutes since she had told him these exact words. And they had hurt him. She had been able to tell by the way he looked at her. By the way, the almost too silent “Okay” had left his lips. But at this point, she had already said it. It had been to late to take it back.
She hadn’t meant to hurt him. Eleonora never wanted to hurt anyone. She had said those words because that had been the easiest things to say. It had been the easiest way to protect herself. Herself and her heart. The heart that had started to belong to a boy she had tried to hate so much but failed in the end. So of course, she hadn’t meant it. None of it. Of course, she liked him, but she had been denying it for so long now that it was hard to admit that she did care about him. It was hard to admit that she cared about Edoardo Incanti who did not only broke Silvia's heart but also played with so many hearts of other girls. Someone who had viewed girls as his personal trophies or at least pretended that he thought about them to be just that. It was hard to admit that Edoardo Incanti was nothing like the boy she thought he’d be. He was so much kinder than he tried to look like. He was soft and he cared. He loved deeply. He felt with his entire heart and he protected his friends. Edoardo Incanti was so much more than the cliché he tried to be. And she could see it now. She had been able to see it for a while now.
“Are you sure about that?” Edoardo asked her again and started planting kisses on her chin and down her neck. Ele could feel his grin against her skin as his lips brushed past the part of her neck where he could feel her pulse, giving away how fast her heart was beating in her chest. Thump. Thump. Thump. Thump thump thump. Faster and faster the more he kissed her and the more the rain was pouring down on them. Faster and faster the more he made her feel like she was doing the right thing. That this was where she belonged. In his arms under the stars and in the rain. Safe. Secure. Home.
“Very sure”, she exhaled deeply and intertwined her fingers with his gorgeous hair. She had said so many times that she would hate his hair and now it was the only thing that kept her shaky knees from giving up on her. She was gripping on to the back of his head like he was her lifeline. Like he could save her from drowning.
They kissed for a few more minutes when Edoardo noticed that Ele was shaking. With the rain relentlessly pouring down on them it had gotten colder and colder with every passing minute. He started rubbing her back and pulled her even closer to him but that didn’t stop her from shaking. It was like her body had run out of adrenaline and had finally realized the noticeable temperature drop.
“Do you want me to walk you home?” Edo asked her and Eleonora could see in the way he looked at her that he didn’t want to let go of her yet. That he didn’t want to end the evening and whatever had just happened between them. He didn’t want to let them become strangers again who insult each other and eat cookies together whenever they weren’t fighting. He wasn’t ready to say goodbye. To let go. For now.
But still, here he was, asking her if he could walk her home. Just that. No intentions were behind it other than making sure she got home safe.
“I can’t let Filo see me like this. My brother. He already knows that we have been out before and when he sees me with you he –“
“Wait”, he stopped her, the grin from earlier back on his gorgeous looking face.
“So it totally counted as a date?”
“What?”
“You know exactly what I am talking about Eleonora Francesca Sava. It counted as a date. I was right.”
“Maybe”, was the only thing she replied and while she tried to stay serious, really tried to keep him believing she hated meeting up with him at this beautiful spot, sharing cookies with him and insulting him. She had tried to make herself believe that. But she had realized it was a lie long ago. Just like she had realized that it was impossible for her to hate him.
“We could go back to my place too? You could sleep in my bed again,” he suddenly suggested and reached for Eleonora's hand, weaving their fingers into another. He looked way more serious now than only a few seconds ago.
“Absolutely not”, she replied even though she really wanted to say yes. She couldn’t walk home like this, totally soaked from head to toes without having to answer to one thousand and two questions from Filippo. And she also couldn’t go back to the charity party. She had stayed at Edoardos place before. It wasn’t that bad.
“Ele”, he started but before he could continue with whatever he had wanted to tell her, she kissed him again. It was the easiest way to make him shut up and for her to express that she changed her mind. That she never wanted to say no in the first place. And it was also way too tempting to kiss him again. Over and over and over again.
“We’ll just redo the pillow barrier. I think we’ll be fine.”
“Do you really think you can stay on your side of the bed this time?” Edoardo teased her and raised one of his eyebrows as to demonstrate that he didn’t believe Ele had enough will power to keep her hands from him now. That boy really was thinking too highly of himself. She was a strong and independent woman. Of course, she was able to keep her hands from Edoardo Incanti.
“Do you want to make a bet out of this then?”
“Okay.” He wiggled his eyebrows which made Eleonora laugh. He was such a dork with such a big heart and she couldn’t believe she had agreed to go to his place with him. Or to suggest they’ll make a bet out of their shared bed situation.
“If I win, which means you won’t be able to stay on your side of the bed, I get to make you breakfast. You took that from me the last time and I -”
“Deal.” This time it was Ele who cut him off which made him laugh. It was an adorable sound.
“Hold on, I wasn’t finished yet”, Edoardo held up his hands, demonstrating that he indeed had not finished formulating his part of the bet. They were already walking down the streets of Rome now and luckily Edoardo didn’t live too far away from the place where they held the Charity Event in.
“I already accepted the Deal. You are too late Edoardo Incanti”, Ele stuck out her tongue at him and started walking faster so she could turn around and look at him. His place was only a few more blocks from here and the rain had finally stopped.
Her hair was stuck to her face and she was still cold, but she had to take these brief seconds to herself to just look at Edoardo. The boy she had kissed tonight. She was losing the bet. She already knew it. Of course, she wouldn’t stay on her side of the bed. She was convinced all of this must have been a strange dream. Something she could never keep up. It was only a matter of time she had to break up things with Edoardo again. No matter how hard it would be and no matter how much it could hurt both of them. But at the end of the day, she had to protect her friends. She had to think about Silvia even though it was almost too late by now.
She wanted this one more sleep over at Edoardos place. Needed it even. More than anything. She wanted to be held in his arms and to have him kiss her good night. And because she knew that he was very aware of it too, she decided to just go for it. At least for this one time. This one night.
“I want croissants and cappuccino tomorrow.”
And seeing that broad, boyish smile on his face again made it totally worth losing her first bet against Edoardo Incanti. Her first and probably also the last.

can you write something for incantava, like, what you think happened after they kissed at the end of the clip?
Oh look, another ‘after the kiss’ one-shot. Has everyone and their dog written one of these? Yes. Oh well, have another 😂
Thank you to the many people who requested this, some of you guys said the nicest things about my writing! I genuinely want to screenshot and print off some of them for my wall because they were so nice!

What was worse, pneumonia or having to stop kissing Edoardo?
Eleonora really couldn’t decide.
Her hands were tangled in his hair, holding him against her. Not that it was without his consent, given his hands on her waist were doing the same thing.
She couldn’t believe she was kissing Edoardo.
Just minutes ago she’d be telling him she didn’t like him, not even a little. She’d been telling him that for almost a year.
God, she was full of shit.
How could she not like him?
He was stupidly charming, and he always seemed to care about her. Part of her had forgotten what it felt like to be truly cared for.
Not that she thought her friends and her brother didn’t care about her, but she’d always felt like it was better to keep certain things to herself. With Edoardo, she felt like he really wanted to know those things.
A surge of newfound passion prompted her to pull him even closer, throwing one arm around his shoulders.
He chuckled against her lips. “We should get out of the rain.”
“Probably.”
“Do you want to stay at mine again?”
Eleonora pulled away, trying to clear the kissing-induced haze in her brain so she could think about it properly. Edoardo leaned his forehead against hers, and she marvelled at how she once thought this boy anything more than a teddy bear.
She could stay at his house again. But that was probably going to give him the wrong idea.
“I should probably go home.”
Edoardo sighed, and it was so cold she could feel the warmth of it against her lips. “Okay.”
She chuckled at his tone, leaning up to kiss him again.
He pushed her rain-soaked hair out of her face, cupping her cheeks in his hands. He pulled back after a long moment, locking eyes with her.
“So not even a little bit, huh?”
Eleonora laughed, but she remembered the look on his face and her laughter died.
“I’m sorry, I shouldn’t have said that.”
Edoardo shrugged. “I probably shouldn’t have made you say it.”
He let his hands fall from her face to his sides. The rain had calmed to a steady drizzle now as opposed to a full-blown thunderstorm. They stood there for a second, just looking at each other.
She wanted to kiss him again.
He reached for her hand, linking their fingers together. “Come on, I’ll walk you home.”
She nodded, reaching her free hand over and sliding it up his arm. She rested her head against his shoulder as they walked, aware it was probably making their journey harder but not really caring. He didn’t seem to mind either, leaning down to kiss the top of her head every once in a while.
They reached her building far too soon, Edoardo pulling her gently into his arms as they stood outside.
He leant down, burying his face in her hair. She could feel his breath against her neck, and she felt warm despite the cold rain still falling softly around them.
“I don’t want to say good bye.”
She blushed at his words, tightening her arms slightly around his waist. She pulled away from him so she could look him in the eyes, smiling softly.
“Tisanina?”
He grinned, nodding before leaning down to kiss her. She knew he intended it to be quick, but the entire walk home she had been deprived of his lips on hers and wasn’t going to let him go that easily.
He made a sound of approval when she reached up to cup his cheeks, holding him against her. One of his hands moved up to tangle in her hair while his other stayed at her waist.
Dear lord he could kiss.
It felt like there was fire in her veins, like she might combust at any moment. It was wonderful.
Edoardo walked her backwards until they were resting against her apartment wall. She was glad it was late and no one could see them, and even more pleased that Filo wasn’t home.
After kissing until she was well and truly out of breath, Eleonora led Edoardo upstairs to her apartment. Thank god she’d cleaned up a bit earlier.
“You sit on the couch, I’ll make tea.”
“Yes, ma’am.”
She rolled her eyes at him, walking towards the kitchen. “Lemon?”
He voiced his approval, and she didn’t need to look back at him to know he was grinning.
She leant against the kitchen counter while she waited for the water to boil, not fully believing that Edoardo was sitting on her couch. She brought her hands up to either side of her face, shaking her head with a grin. One night could change everything, couldn’t it?
Once the water had boiled and the tea made, she brought their cups out to the living area. She sat them down on the table next to the couch, knowing they needed to cool for a bit before they drank them.
She sat down next to Edoardo, and he wrapped his arm around her shoulders and pulled her into his side.
“I wish we had cookies” she said, and he laughed in response.
“You know, I was wondering, does tricking everyone with the raffle count as false advertising?”
Edoardo laughed. “I don’t know, probably.”
“I’ve been kissing a criminal” Eleonora mock-scolded him.
He just laughed again. “Well, what else was I meant to do? I told Chicco that under no circumstances was I going to kiss some random girl.”
“Mm-hmm.” Eleonora tried not to look too pleased.
Edoardo leaned in to her, placing his lips briefly on her cheek. “I don’t want to kiss anyone but you.”
She could feel her face heating up, giving away her emotions. His face was still centimetres from hers, and he leaned in further, brushing his nose against hers. She grinned at the gesture, turning her face slightly towards his.
Their lips met for the hundredth time that night, and Eleonora marvelled at how quickly something could feel like home.
She brought one hand up to wrap about his shoulders, the fingers of her other hand tangling into his hair.
He pulled away from her for a second, grinning. “You really love my hair.”
She made to retort, but he was kissing her again and pushing her gently back onto the couch and her words got lost in her throat. Their kisses became hungry and she pulled him further on top of her, eliciting a groan from him in response.
After who knows how long, they pulled away from each other to catch their breath.
“We should drink our tea” she said, and he chuckled in response before sitting up and reaching for his cup.
“I wonder how the party turned out” he mused.
Eleonora shrugged, picking up her cup and taking a sip. “Eva’s probably passed out at home, Giovanni’s probably watching everyone who comes near Martino like a hawk, and Rosa is probably crying in a corner.”
Edoardo laughed so hard he almost spilt his tea. “I’m sure Rosa’s just fine.”
Eleonora pursed her lips, giving him a disbelieving look. “I don’t know, she and Silvia might team up.”
Edoardo nodded, faking sincerity. “You’re right, I’ll just have to kiss her anyway.”
She shoved his shoulder gently, knowing he was kidding. “You’re an idiot.”
He shrugged, taking a sip of his tea. His face turned serious, and Eleonora wondered what he was thinking about. She reached over, rubbing her thumb against his cheek.
“What is it?”
“Nothing” he murmured. “I just hate that we let those coglioni in.”
Eleonora took another sip of her tea before placing her cup back on the table. “It wasn’t your fault, you didn’t know.”
Edoardo shrugged before placing his cup down next to hers. “Still. I hate people like that.”
Eleonora nodded. “Me too. I mean I was so worried about Eva and then I ended up dumping Martino in it, they’re just the worst of everything.”
Edoardo rested his arm on the back of the couch, and Eleonora took the opportunity to tuck herself against his side. He chuckled quietly, wrapping his arm around her and pressing his lips to the side of her head.
“My brother, Filo, I always worry about him when he goes out. I worry he’s going to run into guys like that. It’s crazy to think he has to be so brave just to exist sometimes.”
Edoardo nodded, his face still resting against her head so she could feel the movement. “I get people having their own beliefs, but I just can’t tolerate people like those guys from tonight. Especially when they hurt my friends.”
Eleonora smiled, because he’d just said he considered Martino his friend. She looked up at him, leaning in to kiss his cheek.
Edoardo tucked a stray lock of hair behind her ear, keeping his hand there and gently rubbing his thumb against the side of her face.
“I should let you have a shower and go to bed” he said.
Eleonora nodded, though she wished he could stay. But she’d said no to going back to his place for a reason, and having him stay at hers posed the same problems.
“I’ll walk you downstairs.”
He shook his head, getting to his feet. She held out her hands and he pulled her to her feet as well.
“You stay here and stay warm. You can walk me to the door if you want, though.”
She just grinned.
Walking him to the door was convenient, because she could lean against the doorway while he kissed her good bye.
He trailed his lips down her neck like he had earlier that night and her breath hitched in her throat. He chuckled in response, the vibrations of it against her skin causing her even more pleasure. God, he was going to be the death of her.
He pulled away from her, grinning like an idiot.
“Bye, Ele.”
She smirked at she responded with “bye, Eduardo”.
He rolled his eyes at her. “You said my name earlier, I know you know it.”
Eleonora just shrugged. “Sorry, no recollection of that.”
He grinned again, leaning in to kiss her again. He pulled away quickly, and she knew they’d both stay kissing all night if they could.
“Okay, I’m going now” he said. He leant his forward against hers, sighing. “Bye, Ele.”
“Bye.”
She watched him leave, tracing her bottom lip slowly with her index finger. He turned around when he was almost out of her sight, waving at her. She returned the gesture, trying not to grin like an idiot.
Kissing Edoardo had been amazing, but a warm shower after standing in the rain was a whole other level of good.
Eleonora leant her head back against the tiles of the shower, closing her eyes and letting the warmth envelope her. She stayed in there far too long, finally getting out when her fingers were pruned from the water.
She walked back to her room in her towel, flopping down on her bed.
She still hadn’t fully comprehended the night’s events, but she knew she wanted to kiss Edoardo again as soon as she could.
Her phone buzzed and she reached for it, thinking and hoping that it was Edoardo. She opened it to find a message from Eva.
So after the raffle was drawn, you and Edoardo both disappeared. After he hadn’t been the prize after all. Weird.
Shit.

how are they supposed to survive now?
ok so this is fucking dark but I wrote a little drabble about Ele dying and Edo and their little daughter dealing with it. don’t kill me.
Edoardo lay in his bed at 4 am in the morning. He hadn’t slept since it happened. It had been three days. Three days. Without Eleonora. How was he supposed to get on with his life without her?
Nothing made sense anymore.
He couldn‘t breathe.
Edoardo was so angry. People always say that everything happens for a reason.  But what could possibly be the reason for this? Why take her away from him? People also say that time heals all wounds but this wasn’t a wound. This was death. A part of Edoardo had died as soon as he got the phone call telling him that Eleonora had died. They had tried everything they could, they said. It was just too late.
Fede had been staying with him ever since the accident to help take care of Edoardo and Eleonora‘s daughter. He was helpful but Edoardo knew that at some point Fede would have to go home and Edoardo would have to put his sorrow aside in order to help his daughter through hers. The thought of raising their daughter alone made him feel like his heart had been ripped out of his chest and put through a shredder.
There could not possibly be a reason for their daughter having to grow up without a mother, just as he had had to grow up without a mother.
There was no fairness. No reason at all.
Edoardo let out a loud sob. He didn‘t mean to, but his thoughts were consuming him and he couldn‘t bear it anymore.
As he tried to calm himself down as to not wake Aurora up he saw a small head poke into the room in the doorway. Aurora walked over and climbed up into bed and Edoardo tried to hold his tears back. He had to stay strong for her.
„I miss mama“ she whispered and Edoardo took her and hugged her tight.
„I know, I miss her too“.
„When is she coming back?“ Aurora asked. Edoardo had already told her that Eleonora had died and that from now on it would just be the two of them but Aurora had a hard time understanding the significance of death.
Every time Edoardo looked into Aurora‘s eyes he saw Eleonora. She had inherited her big, green eyes and his curly, unruly hair. Every time he looked at her he had to compose himself and hold back his tears.
„She‘s not coming back, love“. Aurora looked up at him with her big eyes. Her face was red from all the crying and her eyes were filled with tears. Edoardo supposed he looked the same.
„Now try to get some sleep, so you won‘t be too tired tomorrow“ Edoardo said to her and they both lay down, side by side, Aurora clutching his chest as hard as she could. Edoardo listened to her breath even out as time passed and suddenly everything felt heavier and he truly realized their reality.
This was their life now. This was what was left of their little family. Eleonora had been taken away from them and from now on it would just be the two of them. Edoardo and Aurora.
When Aurora had fallen asleep Edoardo let his tears run freely down his face as he tried to fall asleep.
He knew what he would dream of.

i messed up
honestly I was just going to post this when the chat appeared
summary: After shit went down with his brother Edo shows up at Eleonoras apartment to explain everything.
-
-
Eleonora stared at the ceiling. She hadn't shifted her position since she came home from Edoardo. Edoardo. It hurt thinking about him. It was one thing to say that she was not his girlfriend. They hadn't done that talk yet. But it was a completely other thing to ask her to leave when his brother wasn't around anymore. She gave him a chance to explain, but he simply tossed it away.
A tear streamed down her face. Maybe it was huge mistake to give in. Maybe she really was nobody to him. But she saw the change in his eyes when he saw his brother. He looked angry and hurt. Also, his brother called her hot. What kind of brother does that?
Eleonora pressed her lips together and sighed. A knock on the door interrupted her thoughts. Without giving her chance to answer the door opened and Filo came into her room. "Can you please knock?" She asked, but her voice sounded weak. "I did." Filo retorted. "We already had that conversation." "What happened with Edoardo?" he asked directly. "Nothing. Why with Edoardo?" Filo raised his eyebrows. "Because he is standing outside of our door." "What??" Eleonora sat straight up. "He is literally begging me to let him in."
Eleonora got up from her bed, walked to the front door and opened it. The case was as Filo said. Edoardo Incanti was in front of her apartment. "What are you doing here?" she asked with a cold voice. He nervously tapped with his foot. "Can I come in?" "Depends." "On what?" "If you going to treat me like shit again." She said and looked him straight into his eyes. "I wanted to talk about that. Can I please come in?"
Eleonora guided him in, right into her room where Filo was still sitting. "Could you maybe leave us alone?" She asked her brother, who looked at her with a smug smile and then left the room. " I'm listening."
"I'm sorry. I shouldn't have said that." Edoardo said putting his hands into his pockets. "What exactly? I can't remember. The fact that you said I was not your girlfriend or the fact that you wanted me to leave? Because both hurt." Her voice was harsh and cut into Edoardos heart. He stared at her and she stared back. "I am sorry for everything. For how it ended." He said sincerely.
"You should be. Because I felt like trash. What I am asking you, Edoardo Incanti, is why? The last days were like living in a happy bubble and now I am what exactly to you? Nothing?" Eleonoras voice cracked at the last word. She wanted to be anything to Edoardo but not nothing. "Everything." She saw his hand twitching like he wanted to touch her, but he kept it to himself. "Ele you are everything to me." "Then why?"
"Because..." He took a deep breath. "...you don't know my brother. He is everything you thought I was, but way worse. Everytime I had something he had wanted it too. You know that my mum died. He played a huge role on her death. She had cancer and one day she passed out in his arms. But he didn't call a doctor. He was 15. He should have known. She passed away in his arms. I hate him for that. I hate for all the pain I had because of him." He shed a tear. Eleonora reached out and whipped it away. "If he knows what you mean to me, he would try to take you away from me. He could take anything but not you."
Eleonora closed her eyes to let the words sink in. They have been together for a few days, but hearing these words let her heart beat faster. Suddenly she didn't feel any anger anymore for the boy standing in front of her. He had wanted to protect her. And she appreciated that more than anything. "Thank you for trying to protect me. But next time explain immediately." He nodded. "Will do."
Then Eleonora pulled him into a hug. He nuzzled his head into her neck and breathed in her scent. "I missed you!" "Its been 5 hours Edo." Eleonora laughed and got out of the hug. "Can't a boy miss his girl?" Eleonora raised her eyebrows. "I am not mad anymore, but I would have stayed at yours if it wasn't for you. Or your brother," she adds. "I got it now. I messed up." He looked at her with wide grin. Eleonoras heart began to race. It was nearly impossible to love his smile so much.
"Can I kiss you?" He asked politely. Eleonora bit her lower lip and nodded. Another grin spread across Edoardos face. He cupped her face with his hands and slowly brought it to his. When their lips touched Eleonora knew she made the right decision on Friday. Her heart was an explosion of emotions. The kiss tasted sweet and she imagined she tasted Pistachio in his mouth. Or didn't she imagine it? She pulled away to look at Edoardo with judgemental expression. "Did you eat the ice cream without me?" He held his arms up in defence. "I heard ice cream is good to get over worries."
"Youuu..." Eleonora tried to tickle Edoardo but he was faster and ran away. So she tried to chase him in her room. After some time they faced eachother from each side of the bed. Edoardo tried to fake a movement to the side and Ele believed him. It ended with him laughing about the fact that she believed it. But with a jump over the bed she finally got him and tickled him until he couldn't breath anymore. "Mercy please!" He said holding up his arms. "Ok. Under one condition." "And that would be?" "You buy a new bowl and then we eat it together!" He nodded and then pulled her closer to him.
"I am really sorry again for this afternoon." Without responding she kissed him. First slow and then with more passion. Edoardos hands rested on her waist and she played with his hair. This moment was just for them, special in its very own way. Nobody would interrupt- "Oh I am sorry!"
Eleonora looked up to see Filo standing in the door. "Filo, what did we say about knocking?" "I just wanted to make sure Edoardo doesn't hurt you." "I would never hurt her." It came from under Eleonora. "At least not with anything else than words." Filo nodded in understandment. "So everything is alright I guess?" "Yes Filo and now go." "Edoardo, Ele needs dick! She needs-" Edo couldn't understand the rest of it because Eleonora slammed the door shut.
"Sorry for that. He is just so annoying." "Better than mine..." Eleonora layed herself next to him and played with his curls. "Better than yours." After a while of laying next to eachother Eleonora suddenly asks: "I think it would be better if you stay here tonight instead of going back to your house where your crazy ass brother is waiting." "I thought you'd never ask!" With that, Edoardo pulled Eleonora into a sweet but still passionate kiss. And Eleonora what ever would come next, together they would master it.

Incantava Fanfic (sometime between their first date and kiss)
Eleonora was really starting to question her actions as Edoardo Incanti’s swanky house came into view. Another wild party was planned to take place tonight, and all week she had been adamant that she would no way in hell attend – a promise she made to herself. But she seemed to be breaking such promises left, right, and centre these days. Did she want to see him? She’d be lying if she said she didn’t. She was itching to be in his presence again… but she didn’t need to admit that. Eva’s tipsy giggle pulled her out of her trance and Silvia’s hand clutched her own. THAT’S why she shouldn’t be here. Silvia – beautiful Silvia who she loved more than life itself, who just so happened to still be head over heels for the boy. The guilt started to make Ele uncomfortable. She knew if Edoardo got the chance he would be all over her like a rash. He had been every chance he got since she got back to Rome. And what if Silvia saw? No, she’d make sure nothing went down. She would dance and have fun with the girls while admiring Edoardo from a distance. Admiring? No, not admiring, just observing, she thought to herself.
The door was wide open for anyone to waltz right in, and once inside the place was packed, which was saying something considering it was the equivalent of a mansion. The girls quickly ditched their coats and headed to the kitchen for drinks. Eva, Silvia, and Fede were already pretty smashed so Ele and Sana would most likely be taking care of them soon.
At about 11 p.m. Ele lost sight of the girls. She had only had 2 drinks, so her senses were fully intact but a comfortable buzz had settled over her. Really needing to pee she made her way to the bathroom to find a huge queue and some girl ranting about how people were hooking up inside, refusing to unlock the door. Frustrated, she rolled her eyes before noticing Chicco coming downstairs. She knew there was a bathroom upstairs that was probably off limits to anyone outside the precious Villa Boy circle. But she’d be quick. Making her way towards the staircase Chicco caught her attention with a slurred “Eleonora Francesca Sava” as he attempted to give her a high five. Weird. But she returned the gesture and continued on her merry way.
The relief was sweet as she exited the bathroom. She was just about to text Sana when the sultry voice of Edoardo Incanti came from behind her: “And who said you were allowed up here?” She slowly turned around to face him, getting her first real look at him all night. He was so annoyingly gorgeous. Dressed in a casual thin shirt and jeans, with his signature curl falling across his forehead in that way… she needed to relax. “Sorry, but the facilities downstairs are kinda out of service. You might wanna do something about that actually,” she said. He replied with a muffled laugh and walked right up to her so that he was looking down his nose at her. “You know, usually I wouldn’t be cool with such behaviour, but then again it’s you.” “Meaning?” Ele questioned. Edoardo grinned, “Meaning I think I’d let you do just about anything.” She felt her breath get caught in her throat and her cheeks heat up. “Stop it.” His grin deepened. “Just telling the truth Sava. After all, honesty is the best policy.” She couldn’t help the laugh that came out. The look he gave her sent a rush of butterflies into her stomach. “Uh… I should really find the girls. Silvia’s here and if she sees–“ He backed off just a little. “Actually Silvia got sick and I think Sana brought her home. Eva and Fede are still here though” he informed her. Ele cursed to herself and dragged her phone back out of her pocket to find a text from Sana telling her exactly that. She nodded her head letting him know she believed him. “Anyway, having fun?” he asked. “It’s okay I guess” she replied after a few seconds of pretending to seriously consider the question. Edoardo clutched his chest as if in pain, “Ele you wound me. My parties are legendary.” She rolled her eyes at that. He bit his lip, “Can I show you something?” She scrunched up her nose, “Depends…” He laughed, “It’s not a trick and it’s nothing bad, you can trust me. Scout’s honour.” She squinted her eyes at him, “Were you even a scout?” He scoffed in mock audacity, “Um, of course I was.” He made his way down the hall, looking back over his shoulder when she didn’t move. “Are you coming?” She remained rooted to her spot for a few more seconds, eventually deciding she was in fact curious she followed after him.
He opened a patio door that led out to a balcony. The view was breath-taking, but what really caught her attention was the presence of numerous plants decorating the exterior. “Now, this is not me coming out as a fellow gardening fanatic or anything, but I know it’s something you really enjoy and I just- I don’t know, I just thought you might like it.” He seemed almost nervous as he scratched the back of his neck.  She smiled, “I do really like it.” She moved closer to appreciate the various flowers scattered around the balcony. “We have a gardener” he answered her unspoken question of how they were still alive under his care. “I do water them from time to time though.” He added. She laughed hard, “I figured as much.” Not that she would admit it right now, but it kind of melted her heart that he knew she would be into this.
They had spent a while talking and had moved to sit on the comfy swing chair in the corner, forgetting all about the party still happening below them. The comfortable conversation faded and Eleonora must have dozed off to the gentle swaying rhythm of the swing, because a sudden burst of hollering woke her up to find her head on Edoardo’s shoulder who had also fallen asleep. The noise also jolted him awake. They both just stared at each other. Elenora mortified, Edoardo much too pleased with himself. The balcony door swung open and a stressed Federico appeared, stopping in his tracks at the scene before him. “Edo, the police crashed the party and I took the rap saying it was my place. I kicked everyone out cause you were M.I.A.” A smirk graced his lips, “Of course, now I know why.” Eleonora jumped up, “Shit, Eva and Fede must have left without me.” She was about to run to find them but Federico stopped her. “No, Eva’s passed out downstairs.” “Federica?”Ele asked. “I’ve been with Eva all night. She must have left”, he shrugged.
The three of them went downstairs where Eleonora tried to rouse Eva from her comatose state. The only response she received was a series of whining and Eva pushing her away. Edoardo tapped her on the shoulder, “Look Ele, there’s no way you’re gonna get her in a taxi. I’d drive you both home but I’ve been drinking. Why don’t you both stay in the guest room?” he reasoned. Ele was unsure of what to do, but he was right. The easiest and safest option was to just spend the night here. Eva agreed with a nod and a grunt. “Okay… uh thanks”, she smiled.
Fede helped carry Eva to the guest room and Ele got her settled. Edoardo brought up two glasses of water and a basin just in case. Once the girls were both in bed Ele noticed the two boys still standing there. She just stared, “Goodnight…” she said. They both repeated it back to her simultaneously. “Sorry”, Edoardo quipped realising how awkward the situation was getting. “I think Fede thought he might be in your place tonight”, he smiled at her. “Shut up man”, replied Federico. Edo pulled Fede out of the room and softly closed the door. But Ele could just make out Edoardo’s reply to whatever Fede had said: “And of all the people in this house you think I wanna sleep with YOU. We both get to suffer.” Ele couldn’t help but smile as she threw her head onto the pillow and closed her eyes.

Edoardo Incanti, leave me —
Eleonora didn‘t know how she ended up here. With this... boy. With this arrogant, sexist, selfish boy.
"Ele? I know that you‘ve been here one minute ago!"
Shit, shit, shit.
Eva and Silvia saw her. And they nearly saw her with Edoardo. And that would‘ve caused A LOT of problems she didn‘t need right now.
"If you could just leave me alone none of this would‘ve happened", Ele said quietly and stared at Edoardo with that icy gaze of hers. But he only smiled and drew closer.
"I think it‘s really cozy in here."
"In a fucking storage room?"
Ele was furious and Edoardo knew this. He only had fun watching her like this, he knew the impact he had on her and sooner or later, Ele had to be honest with herself: She developed feelings for the most cliché boy ever: Edoardo Incanti.
And that made her even more furious.
"There is only little space to stand... So you have to be close to me. And I like that."
Ele huffed a breath after this and put her hand over Edoardos mouth after that. The voices were getting closer.
"Maybe we saw someone who looked similar to Ele", said Eva just now and Eleonora prayed that they would just leave and she could leave that cramped room.
"Maybe. Let‘s go to lunch, we‘ll meet her there for sure and then we can ask her why she ran away from us. I know that she‘s been hiding something."
The voices faded away and Ele sighed, taking her hand away from Edoardos mouth.
"Okay, I think they left. Let‘s get out of here."
"Ele."
Ele halted in her movement and looked at Edoardo. His usual mocking grin was not on his face this time, he looked completely honest into her eyes and something inside Ele woke.
"What is it, Incanti?"
"Do you really hate me that much? You cannot even bear to be in a room with me?"
"In a STORAGE room, you mean."
"I‘m trying to be completely honest here."
Ele looked at Edoardo and all her mocking words died at the sight of him. She thought of his mom, how she died. And how she brushed of his talk about his mom as something to catch all the girls. She thought of their date, of the effort he made just to be with her. She thought of how he apologized to Silvia. How he was not the monster she thought he would be. How he always made her laugh when she didn‘t even want to laugh. And for once, she didn‘t think about how much she would hurt Silvia when she would find out about all of this.
"If you want me to leave you alone, then just say so. Say it in my face and I‘ll go."
Eleonora looked him in the eyes. I would be so easy to say those words. But she never was a good liar. She hated to lie. And she didn‘t want to start with it now
"Edoardo Incanti, leave me —"
She couldn‘t go on.
"Yeah?"
"I‘m—"
And suddenly Edoardo cupped her face with his big hands. Eleonoras heart started to race. And she hated her body in this moment for all the things Edoardo made her feel.
"I can feel that you don‘t want me to leave you alone."
He came closer. She could feel his breath on her face.
"Your feelings are lying."
"I don‘t think so."
Ele couldn‘t move. Edoardos lips were hovering over hers. She could hear her pulse in her ears.
"I should go..."
"You should stay"
"If we kiss, it will change everything."
"I like a good change."
"I don‘t...“
And then their lips crashed together and Ele couldn‘t deny her feelings for him anymore. She gave up, stopped to struggle against him. Their lips moved slowly against each other, Edoardo was nearly careful while kissing her, as if she could break. And maybe she would. Ele wasn’t sure of anything at all right now.
After some long, beautiful moments, the broke apart, Ele catching her breath as she stared at Edoardo.
"You okay?" Edoardo was the first to break the silence and his fingers slowly caressed her cheek.
She didn‘t know how it came to all of this. And she knew this was probably the biggest mistake of her life. But in this very moment she smiled.
"Yeah. I‘m okay.“
And before Ele could say something else, Edoardos lips were on hers again and her head was clear, just the thought of Edoardo present in her mind.

Ok so I actually thought we would get another clip yesterday, but anyway here’s what I thought what could’ve happened
• Ele is having dinner with her mom and aunts when someone rings the bell
• Ele opens the door and it’s Edoardo. He’s says: sorry, you weren’t picking up and I just really had to see you.. Ele kind of cuts him off by saying my mom is here
• So Edoardo is like thats nice (or something like that idk lol) but he notices something is wrong
• Ele says: It’s just... I thought we were going to spend some time together, just the two of us you know. I can’t remember the last time it was just me and my mom, but ofcourse she had to invite other people because why would she want to spend time with me alone...
• Edoardo steps a little closer and says hey, anyone who gets to spend time with you is extremely lucky, trust me I know
• Ele smiles a little and looks up at him for the first time and she’s shocked because she sees his bruised face. She gently places her hand on one of his bruises near his eye and he closes his eyes when she touches him.
• I’m sorry, Edoardo whispers. No, don’t be, Eleonora says: I understand, I probably would’ve done the same thing.
• Edoardo puts his head against Eleonora’s and they just stand there with their foreheads pressed together for a while.
Tumblr media
• After a little while Eleonora whispers: I’m sorry for not picking up or checking on you. I just needed some time to think, when I’m around you I can’t think clearly my brain becomes all fuzzy
• Edoardo smiles and whispers it’s okay, my brain gets fuzzy around you too
• After a while of standing there in silence, Eleonora steps back and says I should get back
• Edoardo nods and asks with a little smile on his face: can I get a kiss?
•Ele smiles and gives him a soft kiss and says I’ll see you tomorrow
I’m sorry this is so bad but I really need a clip of them pls

Pairing: Eleonora/Edoardo
Show: Skam Italia
Theme: Aftermath of Edoardo’s messages to Eleonora
Lights were dimly lit, causing the room to be bathed in a warm tone. It was cozy enough to want to bury oneself in a huge blanket with a book and a warm cup of cocoa.
And it actually was one of Eleonora's favorite way of spending evenings the last few days.
She had just come back from England, where life was fast-paced, so the girl felt like she needed to take a breather for a moment.
But even though she wanted to rest a little bit before going back to school and her usual activities, she also couldn't miss the Christmas Party, the girls were helping organize.
It was amazing to see them in person again. Eleonora grew tired of video chats and she missed them dearly. So when she finally could see their faces and actually hug them, she felt right back at home.
Her evening, though not spent in her bed relaxing, was the best comeback she had ever had. Maybe because for once she had somebody to come back to.
Eleonora watched fondly as her friends laughed, danced and talked for hours, and when the night was ending, she received a message that she didn't expect.
And now, she was lying, trying to fall asleep, but her mind was running thousands thoughts a minute. Loud voice in her head trying to reason with her, to convince her that it would be a bad idea.
But she had her phone in her hands, staring at the screen, and more precisely – it was opened on a message from none other than her stalker, Edoardo Incanti. Well, Eduardo.
He found out she was back from the picture Eva had posted on her page, and immediately came knocking for what he was owed. At least, he thought he was.
In her mind, she owed him nothing. She shouldn't just because she made him act like a decent human being.
But the fact was, Eleonora actually thought he already let it go. Especially since the whole thing with the date happened over six months ago.
And on the other hand, she knew exactly that he wasn't the type to give up that easily.
When she read the messages, Eleonora wasn't aware that her mouth twitched, forming a so slight smile, which was immediately gone when Silvia asked her about who was messaging her.
Now, several hours later, middle of the night, and she still was irritated at herself for having that reaction.
She didn't know why she reacted like that, but at the same time, her heart fluttered a little bit everytime she looked at the message.
The proof that he didn't forget her, and perhaps even thought about her?
Just like she was thinking about responding. That's why the reasonable part of her, was screaming loudly in her head that it was a bad idea.
Not only because it was him, but also because it wouldn't be fair to Silvia.
Eleonora was in a trans, thinking about every interaction she had with the infamous Eduardo Incanti.
After the second time he approached her, she knew there was more to him than she thought at first. Even though she still critiqued him, she also was intrigued by him and had fun in the banter they had.
And the moment he called her beautiful was still fresh in her memory.
It still had an impact on her so much, that her finger moved over the screen, unintentionally pressing.
When she realized what had happened, Eleonora immediately jumped up horrified at the sight in front of her eyes.
It was safe to say that she finally did what she wanted and responded. The only thing was that instead of forming a normal sentence using words, when her finger slipped, it sent Eduardo a big, red heart that was optional to send in the instagram dm's.
Cazzo! Cazzo! Cazzo!
She was holding the phone with her eyes wide open, staring at the phone and at the mess she made, and all she wanted to do was to bury herself in the ground.
The situation became even worse when underneath the heart suddenly a small word appeared. Read.
Porca miseria!
And just to add to it, three small dots appeared right after.
Her heart was beating so fast, like it was about to jump out of her chest. She was so angry at herself for being so distracted.
Knew you'd like this idea. I'll pick you up tomorrow at seven?
He responded very quickly, maybe seconds after she sent that accidental message. For a moment she even thought that he could've been waiting for her response.
Eleonora stared at this message that felt like a sentence on her. She knew he wouldn't give up until she went to see him.
But at the same time, some part of her felt giddy after reading that.
The fact that she would see him after six months seemed, well, somewhat – bearable? And Eleonora actually wanted to find out where this would go, what he wanted from her.
So in that exact moment, she made a decision that she might or might not regret later.
To her own surprise, this time totally intentionally, she pressed her finger over the red heart again, with a slight smile on her face when it immediately went to 'read'.
