picspam editing prompts/ideas

hello :)

so i posted a picspam tutorial here because my 2012-2014 tumblr nostalgia is off the charts there days (come on lets be real, edits back then were AMAZING)

anyway i decided to make a list of editing prompts for picspams so that if you have any editing block, you can refer to this! the best thing about picspams is that they’re so versatile so here ya go:

coloring picspam: the most common, basically pick a single color or multiple colors for example:

multiple colors: [1] [2] [3] [4] [5]

single color: [1] [2] 

rainbow: [1] [2] [3] [4] [5]

palette: [1] [2] [3]

pastels: [1] [2] [3] [4] [5]

silhouette picspam: where you take a screen cap of a silhouette and make it beautiful (the easiest one tbh)

dark vs. light: where you take  dark screencaps and light screencaps and create a masterpiece from that

only light: [1] [2] 

scenery: lots of fandoms like harry potter, LOTR, game of thrones, etc. feature some beautiful scenery so you can incorporate that into a picspam

masking: where you mask objects / items / people etc. from the screencaps

cropping: there are so many ways to crop your screencaps whether its 270x140 or 540x200 the possibilities are endless!

space: where the screencap naturally (without masking or anything) has a lot of empty space

body language: this refers to the screencap itself and what body language it’s showcasing

objects: things that are important based on the fandom

#14 BRUGES Bought while passing back through Belgium from the trip which also involved badge #13. We climbed the cloth hall tower, stopped for moules frites in the square, and talked about what a fackin fairytale fackin town it is, how can that not be someone’s thing? (Not technically an enamel pin! A portrait pin, with a printout under an acrylic dome on a metal back. Nice in itself, but I feel not as interesting as the cloisonné style you get with enamel. Hello. Sorry to bother you. But can you please explain how changing url actually work? Will my original posts be ruined? Like if people will try to go to my original post they will be see "post not found" or something?

No bother! They will be intact. If they are following a direct link (like say, “old-url.tumblr.com/post/12345” is tagged in the description of an edit you made), then it will say ���not found,” however, tumblr adjusts pretty quickly and usually posts will change to your new url! (Again, direct links are the tricky part. People have often used redirect pages — search ‘redirect’ on @inbruges, I have some code tips & themes saved there. I promise they’re easy, I’ve used ‘em and that’s why they’re reblogged there.)

Someone else may be able to explain this better than me, so keep an eye on the replies, it’s 1:30am here haha. But if it’s any consolation, I’ve changed my url like 10 times and am an editor (I used to be a very frequent gifmaker and editor, just not lately) and haven’t had any issues that stopped me from doing it.

Another tip I have is to at least temporarily save your previous url as a sideblog and make the bio & headline into “now @*new-url*!” and you can make a post too so people can click to your new url easily. I hope this makes sense!

In bruges. Быстрый обзор. Криминальная трагикомедия, с очень длинной раскачкой. Вроде бы неплохая завязка, есть интрига, картинка хорошая и классные актёры. И нельзя сказать, что кино плохое. Но как-то затянуто и скучновато было. Понравилось, как драму переделывают в комедию актёрской игрой. Это вышло интересно. Но идею фильма я как-то не понял. Про принятие что ли. Только чего? Не знаю. Не понял. По сюжету два бандита, по сути психопата, приезжают в Брюгге, где должны схорониться по указу босса, после какой-то заварухи. Один бандит взрослый и спокойный, а второй молодой и ему скучно. Колин Фаррелл получил Золотой Глобус за свою роль.
