I forgot to post these... So these are what I found from my inventory for my clothing business. I honestly was surprised by how well it all was sewn together.. like I forgot I was good at it. 🥴 I miss it. It was relaxing. Coming up with tricks, new ideas, patterns. I enjoy being creative. Maybe I'll get back to it one day.. Here are some grow with me pants, cloth wipes, fleece soaker (my own pattern; it repels wetness), hoodies, and booties. The other day, the lovely @danaemercer posted a great video about “fitspo” photos, and how easy it is to manipulate our bodies to make them look different. So I wanted to follow along those lines and show a bit of my own posed vs unposed. In the left photo, I have my hips pushed back, I’m more in the shade so you can’t see my cellulite, my arms are raised, chin tilted up. Honestly, I could go on and on. But my point is, that’s not usually how I look. Instagram is a highlight reel and it’s important to remember that even the person in the photo doesn’t look like that all the time. In fact, they probably very rarely look like that. Our bodies are meant to move and shake and bend and wobble. We wouldn’t be able to do a whole lot if they just stayed the same all the time. So, instead of shaming myself, I’m gonna thank my body for looking oh so different when it moves in different ways. Swipe through to see some other hilarious ways that my body moves.
