𝗍𝗂𝖼𝗄 𝗍𝗂𝖼𝗄 💥 𝘣𝘰𝘰𝘮 💥 . Welcome friends to our fourth #WhatsGoingOnWednesday! Yay! . Today I wanted to talk about how important routine is in maintaining stability in mental health. I've only recently been able to create a morning and nighttime routine that I can stick to and it has had an enormous effect on my overall mood and productivity level. Often, when I don't put effort into staying in a routine I find myself becoming exasperated more easily, worn down quite quickly and I feel as though I maintain a chaotic energy which feeds into itself, producing more confusion, hightened emotions and instability. The trick to maintaining a routine that works is by being realistic with yourself and your ability. It's important to create a schedule that you can do even on the days when things are hard. Create a regimen you can do on your best day and your worst day. It's important not to be overly ambitious with your plan so you don't become frustrated with yourself on the days you can't bring yourself to fully adhere to it. Keep it simple and be realistic about how much time it takes you to prepare for what you need. . Hello, good morning! Here are 5 almost identical shots of me in front of a marble wall. . I like this outfit, I felt cute and put together and comfortable and not at all thin which would usually bother me, but today it didn't. Accepting my body for all it flaws and functions is fighting the most rational parts of myself against the most emotionally volatile. It's terribly elusive and almost impossible and when I don't pay attention or feel too weak to fight it off, my emotions can overwhelm logic and leave me feeling depleted and unfit for the good things I have in my life. . @barianna has been posting about mental health and the struggles that come with managing life with all its thorns, which has inspired me to create a Wednesday series called #whatsgoingonWednesday where I share some of my knowledge, experience and progress as someone navigating their own mental health and encourage all of you to share some of your own struggles, moments of pride, or any question you have about what it's like to move through the world as someone with mental illness. .
