"Better Late Than Never"

Since I will most likely never continue it because I have too many things to do right now, I'm posting the drawings I did so far.

These drawings were for an Inazuma Eleven Story I started to write called "Better Late Than Never", and it was about Edgar and Thiago, as well as Edgar's family and some cameos from Aaron Adams, Paolo Bianchi and Levin Murdoch.

I'm posting the parts I did there at last because, well, better late than never !

Part 1 : The last match which was between England's Knights of Queen and Argentina's The Empire.

The only match that England managed to win, but at some costs...

Part 2 : The aftermath of the match.

Thiago was afraid to lose the one he actually loves. (Yes he finally realized it !)

Part 3 : Waking Up

Waking up to an awful nightmare about his younger sisters, but it may not be just a dream...

Part 4 : Finding Loreena

The only sister that managed to escape is the one that was supposedly dead in an airplane crash 10 years ago. Paolo finds her and brings her to safety.

Part 5 : Reunited after 10 years

The 2 siblings are finally reunited, but in a terrible way not gonna lie.

I guess the upcoming parts were gonna be saving the 2 remaining sisters. Honestly I didn't really know how to do those parts. And due to the fact that I had a lot of things to do (and still have to this day), I didn't work on it, so that's why I am at least putting them here because it's still a lot of work I've done back then.

...Since I've realized Pierre, Querardo and Jonas are all 3rd Years... Well, I kind of have a weird idea: While its in Liocott when they truly get to meet each other better, let's just say the three were at least a bit wary of their existences BEFORE the FFI even began.

This was something that has been hinted over and over in prior posts, but I like to believe that there must had been other continental tourneys before, including some sort of Juvenile Eurocup. And one edition in particular happened during the "First Year" of these captains, meaning they were only 12-13 years old back then.

Needless to say, their circumstances were different for the most part. Only Pierre wore the captain band, with someone else stealing the spotlight for both Spain and Germany. And hell, Jonas wasn't even a field player, so most of the time he was just watching others play from the sidelines :(

The team performances weren't that great either, with the three sharing the same fate. France didn't pass the group stages, Spain did but fell to the dutch, and Germany also fell in semifinals by the actual winner of the competition, England.

At least these experiences weren't so bad. It helped to solidify Que's love for soccer, it created the footprint for Pierre's graceful plays, and while Jonas passed without glory nor shame; this experience and prior improvements would lead to him to be the favorite of the upper leads of Operation Sicherung (And later on the ones who'd influence the creation of Brockenborg).

Oh yeah, and Edgar is here too ig. He won this tourney fair and square, not much else to say.

Note: This headcanon was written originally a year ago and things barely changed from it, EXCEPT for one key addition: Germany and Spain shared a group and even had a match; just that Pollack wasn't sent to play in the field. Germany lost this match, but was still able to qualify as a 2nd place. An incredible mix of both bad and good luck, knowing they ended better than Querardo's team...
